Episode Nagi special chapter thoughts on that one line.
Tumblr media
At first glance it felt like Nagi's parents telling him something like "don't die before me" was the most insensitive thing they could possibly say to their teenage kid as he left for high school. But the interesting part is that Nagi mentions this as an example of something they did that made him happy.
One could infer that Nagi is used to receiving such little love and attention from his parents that them merely mentioning that he should stay alive was something he accepted as a moment of joy. However, that might be too simplistic.
Tumblr media
Just like being monster parents can create a very strained relationship with your child (e.g. Reo's parents, or even more evidently, Hiori's parents), a too hands-off approach could also easily lead to neglect and suppressed feelings of loneliness within the child. In the panel above, Nagi states that Reo's parents being meddlesome isn't so bad since it means he's important to them. The implication is clear, and sad. But later, when he repeats the words his own parents said to him, it complicates things a little.
Tumblr media
Perhaps saying this was a way for Nagi's parents to subtly remind him that despite their chosen (and arguably flawed) parenting style which grants him free will to live however he wants, he is in fact important to them. Sort of like "you can do anything you want, but this is our only rule." They want him around. They don't want to live in a world without him.
And perhaps that was why it made him happy. He recognised it as something you would say to someone who was important to you. And so he says it to his friend (very possibly the first friend he's had). It is also very reminiscent of the promise he asks for later while entering Blue Lock: "Stay with me until the end." It definitely sheds some more light on the things Nagi values when it comes to interpersonal relationships, and adds a tender and wistful layer to his backstory.
🤍🖤
On a lighter note,
I LOVE that Nagi will be full on judging rich people interior decor one second only to suddenly turn around and say some of the most mysterious deep shit that will turn your insides cold and in the next second just shrug and be like oh well, later then Reo, byeee.
What a strange loveable creature. ❤️🤍🥺🥰

TALKING JJK CHAPTER 253
Tumblr media
At this point, I don’t know what to say.
Going into this fight, Maki showed great promise. But in the same breath, it’s that same excellence that pushed Sukuna to landing a direct Black Flash.
Well…she lasted just as long as Kashimo, but most definitely outperformed him at least.
Tumblr media
Sukuna was off the shits though lol. He started going after Maki with so much aggression and vigor that he was a lot more talkative than usual.
At first, I thought maybe he was ideologically threatened by Maki, but no. He appeared rather stoked by the opportunity to test his jujutsu on the Heavenly Restriction—a prowess that goes against the very essence of sorcery.
Although she was able to put up a great fight, albeit briefly, it left Kusakabe as the last man standing. He almost couldn’t believe it 😭
At the start of the chapter, Kusakabe is stated to be the strongest Grade 1 sorcerer. Right above Nanami, Mei Mei, and another by the name of Usami. Of course, Kusakabe rejects this and couldn’t be bothered, but I don’t think the appraisal is meaningless.
(loved gojo and nanami cameo, god I miss them)
There’s speculation that Kusakabe may very well possess a CT, but haven’t shared it out of self-preservation and not wanting to be given Special Grade duties. Honestly, he’s so real lol. He’s notorious for avoiding unfavorable encounters, but has never failed to come to someone’s aid when needed. He impressively countered a fully amped Uzumaki and survived.
I don’t expect to Kusakabe to win, but I have high hopes that he’ll show out. Which might actually work in his favor. Sukuna tends to leave openings when it comes to abilities unbeknownst to him, so this should be no different (hopefully).
Yuji is still around kinda so maybe Kusakabe won’t be alone for the entirety of the fight.
I’m thinking 254 will start or include some flashback to a conversation in the time-skip or why he became a teacher at Jujutsu Tech. Would be interesting to see that.
The shiesty sorcery tried it. Ino need to run 😂

Can we as a community discuss the time where L had a hand on Light’s shoulder for 4 pages straight? He does not stop touching Light for this whole conversation.

So I decided to read the KH mangas
A week or two ago I read the kh1 manga, it was cute and love how Amano's art style developed (Since I've seen kh3 manga) and saved some of my favorite panels as I do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then two days ago, Tuesday night I decided to read the chain of memories manga. And I have opinions.
First of all I love Repliku, he is so silly and so bothered by Riku. I love all the Repliku moments those were the best. From first meeting Sora was super excited he was there— even blushing but Repliku didn't care 😭😭😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He looked bored and then annoyed and so bothered. It didn't help that Sora was saying the "Riku is fine he can take care of himself.." scene when Repliku first arrives.
But then I got to this scene after it was revealed Repliku is a replica and Sora already fought Larxene. It was a scene I didn't know existed where Naminé brings Repliku to a hallway in Castle Oblivion and she says," I'm sorry I made you face a painful memory," and she takes the star charm as she says "it's not necessary."
And during this moment she just feels his hair and it's so cute. Like I didn't know his existed until now
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But it's basically the last time he's seen in the manga and that's where I have problems with the manga. He's not there defending Naminé with Sora before Marluxia. Sora doesn't tell him he is his own person and he's thankful that Sora's feelings are real.
I wish it had that because it's such a great scene. Also he doesn't die he just leaves. So there a bonus scene basically after com events and he wakes up is confused and wonders where Naminé is, runs into Riku. Then he leaves carrying a bag like he's the sad ant meme 😭
And I was thinking it's sad because that's probably the last time we'll see Repliku. In the kh3 manga, he's cut out. Dark Riku wasn't shown. They skipped Fransankyoto a long a few other words, but that word has Dark Riku.
I was afraid they would cut him out completely even though that's a big plot point.
However THE VERY NEXT DAY, yesterday I find out the next chapter of kh3 manga released and had Repliku, however only certain people can access it and I have not.
Tumblr media
Though I heard they skipped the sacrifice scene with Riku and all the guardians falling which is disappointing 😢💔
But I'm so excited when it's there for everyone to see on February 15

Heard the recent news that Atelier of Witch Hat is getting an anime adaptation! I'm pretty excited about it and also real curious to see how an anime series of Witch hat atelier will turn out in terms of animation and such.
It's likely still way too super early to tell when exactly said series will come out, such as having a year and date for it, since it's obviously in the production stages at the moment, hell you don't even have the name of a studio working on it yet.
I totally see either WIT studio or Kyoto Animation, MADHOUSE, or MAPPA and even Orange or Production I.G handling the series animation styling and the overall anime as a whole honestly. It would be very cool to see all of the magical elements and visuals from the manga fully animated, especially the scenes of the Sliver Night Festival / The Sliver Night Procession or the scene and chapter when Coco did her very first test.
There are just so many beautiful and great moments and scenes within this manga series that I'm seriously super in love with and can't wait to see how the anime series could do with these scenes and the rest of the storytelling from this thus far really good manga I'm super fixated on.

Kuroshitsuji -- A small rant on why I should really stop reading Manga
I can't believe this happened again.... I keep saying I need to stop reading manga but Kuroshitsuji WHY you do me dirty like this #kuroshitsuji #blackbutler #manga
That’s right everybody I, Luna, am back — and I’m honestly frustrated. I’m going to go ahead and skip over how busy our past few months were (you can read all about that here) and go straight into content warning. Ahem–SPOILER ALERT– if you have not read up to the latest chapter of Kuroshitsuji (212 I believe) you are about to get majorly spoiled. Proceed with caution. Otherwise, let’s dive right…

Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai not having an official english license makes me want to cry. It one of the first manga series I read as a teenager that gripped me so hard with unknown emotions. I mean I am so grateful for online translators doing god's work, but I really want to buy the series and support Ai Yazawa. May just bite the bullet and get the japanese copies and translate myself slowly

One Piece 1130 reaction:
okay so some of my theories were immediately proven wrong as expected lol, but what he have learned is interesting.
I'm very curious how authority works in Elbaf, because they revealed something that might otherwise be pretty big when they said they Hajrudin is a prince of Elbaf, but they also said that Dorry and Broggy got to go pick up Luffy instead of him because they had more seniority than him. Loki was also imprisoned by the warriors so his position as Prince didn't grant him any protection from that presumably, though that could be because he, y'know, killed the king. But in the flashbacks with Big Mom on Elbaf we see Hajrudin as a child, and he's not really treated as being particularly special, he's being spoken to as if he was a regular trainee. He formed his own pirate crew who worked for Buggy of all people as mercenaries, and was allowed to join the colluseum on his own without any fuss. Plus he wasn't introduced as a prince of Elbaf at any point even though someone like Elizabello was introduced as the king of Prodence. Also even when celebrating births they celebrated Loki's alongside other children being born in the village. So I wonder if being the king of Elbaf is set up in a way where the royal family still has to earn their authority through their reputation and acts as a warrior over time rather than relying only on their birthright. Maybe the princes have to go out and do impressive things and grow strong as warriors to be acknowledged as ruler. Though Loki seems like he might be stronger than Hajrudin since it took all the warriors of Elbaf to imprison him, yet that didn't earn him their loyalty or respect, maybe because of the acts he's committed being seen as dishonourable like "devoting himself to darkness" and killing his father. Or maybe the royal family in Elbaf are more like figureheads and act as dignitaries or make certain political decisions but otherwise don't hold much authority.
I'm also very curious about Loki. His design wasn't exactly what I expected. He does look like he could be evil, but Oda loves to set up a character to have a bad reputation or look like a bad guy only for them to turn out to be actually pretty great, or misunderstood, or something along those lines. And Luffy coming across Loki so quickly, with Loki being chained up like that, right after we've found out that Nika is also5a mythical figure to giants, and, y'know, is the warrior of liberation, I'm wondering if there's more going on with Loki and he'll turn out to be someone Luffy saves and helps instead. He has started saving princes as well as princesses, if you count Sanji and Momo lol, so maybe he could add Loki to that too. I wonder what the fruit he was said to want was, what purpose it served, and why it was passed down through the royal family. Was it passed down with or without being eaten? Does it tie in to Luffy's fruit somehow? And did Loki manage to eat it yet or did he fail? And we still don't know what Road's deal is or why he was talking like a samurai. Is he connected to Loki somehow? Curioser and curioser.
Possible speculation: could the fruit be related to Norse mythology? Some possibilities are fruits related to Jörmungandr/Níðhöggr, Fenrir, Sol, Sköll, etc, which I think could be potential mythological zoan fruits (since the fruit is said to legendary I'm gonna assume it's a mythological zoan at least for now), how likely some of these are I feel depends on whether Loki will be a good guy or bad guy for the arc.
Or it could go in a completely different direction and the fruit in question could be something entirely different. Oda is known for playing fast and loose with real world mythology after all, sometimes he uses whatever he thinks is cool as an inspiration and then does something completely different from the source material. But it's fun to speculate lol. For example, despite presumably being Loki's brother Hajrudin's name doesn't seem to have anything to do with Norse mythology, and nothing about his design resembles any figures connected to Loki afaik. Though one of his attacks IS named after Odin's spear gungnir, and the "din" part of his name could be based on Odin. But just because Oda references a real world myth, that doesn't mean he's going to have the plot revolve around it. He also isn't opposed to making up new in-game mythological figures, like Nika. For all we know the fruit could be something based within the One Piece world rather than something from real life. So far nothing in Loki's design itself really indicates much to speculate from in either direction tbh.
That said I'd be surprised if the fruit mentioned isn't at least SOME sort of reference to Norse mythology, since he's definitely been referencing it a bunch in the latest chapters and Elbaf is definitely largely inspired by a viking aesthetic, the question is which part of Norse mythology would it reference, and how? Guess we'll find out lol.

Sukuna’s defeat is on its way.
With how the story is going at this moment in time, I’m convinced it’s happening within the next few chapters. 1 or 3 more, give or take.
He’s opened black box and a new domain expansion, which I can only believe are the final cards in his deck. Both attacks are lethal and seal the fate of imminent death, so unless a miracle happens (which I expect), I don’t know how any of the characters plan to survive.
Because at this point, what more could Sukuna have in store besides initiating the merger?
I do think something or someone may intervene. I have an inkling that Megumi could reprise himself as a result of Yuji’s soul-damaging barrage. Yuji may have yet another ability up his sleeve and that’ll do it. Or it’ll be a combination of both.
I’m very certain 259 will begin the downfall to the King of Curses.
