I will say it again but the level of foreshadowing and withholding for the Nagi angst is really off the charts.

Ego, Chris, Agi, Rin, Barou, Hiragi, and now Karasu, even titles of chapters, all talking about the impending "despair/death/suffering/vanishing" 😭😭😭

A skull aura, pulling the death card from a tarot deck, getting a lecture about death from Ego after clearing the second selection (while Isagi's team got a very different talk), use of a supernova metaphor, Naruhaya flashbacks(!!), Nagi himself talking about wanting to be "reborn"... They are setting him up to crash so hard (which of course is important for plot and character development 😔)

For over 2 years I've been waiting for it to happen and every time there is just more buildup and more foreshadowing and yet the actual crash out never comes.

I feel like I'm being slow poisoned as I walk through a long tunnel and then at the end of the tunnel there is someone waiting to stab me in the heart. :(
