Here I am painting until my replacement comes in, but let's gooooooo!

Her chiffon summer dress gently moved in the breeze like a ripple in the water's surface. The fabric was foreign to him, the brightly painted flowers more vibrant than many silk painters could ever achieve.

She waved him over, "Come here a second, would ya?"

He stood at her side as she held his arm to balance as she unclasped her summer sandles. He raised the arm she held onto, to her back. Not making contact, but there just in case should she teeter too far backwards.

It was when she shifted to the other foot that she did indeed teeter. Not backwards, however, face first to the ground. He lurched forward, catching her. Only to also be pulled to the lush green grass of summer.

She laughed nervously, about to apologize about her plights with gravity.

However, her words caught in her throat at the sight of him. He'd ensured that'd she'd not come to harm, his arm catching behind her head. Even his great pelt was cushioned under her. His hand firmly on her hip, "Tell this one next time you should need to rest."

She blushed madly, "I wasn't trying-"

"To woo this one," he scoffed, "I have my doubts."

She felt the heat in her cheeks, "You're so full of it!"

"Doubts," he queried, then nodding, "Indeed."

Her thoughts stilled a moment, "Why would I need to 'woo' you if you agreed to go on a date with me?"

He seemed to mull over this a moment, "Hmm, indeed."
