Sesshomaru smirked, immediately setting all her blood to rush to her face. "Do you often argue with those whom could easily crush you," he teased, lifting Rin over the fallen log.

"First of all, we aren't arguing," she scoffed, "And secondly, you've already tried several times. Something different this time?" She huffed, climbing over the obstacle.

His smirk didn't falter, his eyes full of mischief, "Perhaps this one has a new tactic?"

Shippo squinted at the man, "Are you flirting?!"

Day ¹⁹ - Ridge

He'd spotted her and the boy trekking about. Curiosity pressed him to follow, 'What were they up to?'

"Hey Sesshomaru," she waved to him, "How are you today?" His blank stare had her smile, "Wanna come along?"

While he didn't speak much, she still spoke to him. When she struggled on the path, he found himself instinctively darting to catch her. His hands often gently holding her steady. Her mood eagerly climbing the higher they climbed.

"We made it," she chirped loudly to the clouds, her kit echoing her clearly filled with mirth.

He stood closely behind her, holding the large branch she'd deemed a 'walking stick.' His head gently tipped, eyes slipping to her and her kit. A soft smile slipping past a sigh. Did he always find her so intriguing? Was she always so full of life? How had he not seen it before?

She was beautiful

As I'm catching up on the Throne of Glass books, inspiration struck when reading the scene where Rowan tattoos Aelin, but when sketching it, the characters automatically morphed into my OTP. So, here you have Sesshoumaru the tattoo artist.
