I want to preface this post by saying that I struggled on if I should write it or not. I don’t think callout posts are entirely useful in changing someone’s behavior and, more often than not, end up making them feel as if they are still in the right. It is not my intention for this person to be harassed. It is my intention to warn other players about them so that those players can avoid this person.
That being said, you could have avoided this, Evie. But you decided to make logs public on Reddit in order to attack <EMBER>. You posted those logs in three separate threads under the username FlayFlag. So, here we go.
This is a post about Evie Yuzuka, also known as Narumi Malaguld and Ellie Amor.
On June 2nd, 2019 you joined The Order of Ember roleplay free company (also known as <EMBER>). Less than two hours later, an individual that led another roleplay free company whispered one of the officers to warn them about your behavior.  When the officer in question brought this up to you, you said that you had changed and that you hoped you could start with a clean slate. You then proceeded to whisper your previous free company leader to harass them for warning <EMBER>. Screenshots here, though I’ve edited out the name of the person Evie whispered since I don’t have their consent to post their name.
Trust me when I say that this level of harassment is not uncommon from Evie, as you will soon see.
At the same time that this warning took place, multiple members of <EMBER> mentioned knowing of you or having a problem with your attitude. Still, the officer staff decided to give you a chance, seeing as you had claimed that you were trying to better yourself.
Five days later, you spent the early morning of June 7th, 2019 being a transphobe. Yikes.
I was not a witness to this exchange, as I personally would have taken screenshots rather than a text log. Still, I will post the text log here. Please keep in mind that some of the language used here can be upsetting, so proceed at your own risk. While Evie is not on their main, they are on an alt (named Narumi Malaguld). I have taken the liberty of highlighting Narumi/Evie’s responses so that the log is easier to read. This took place in Ul’dah shout chat.
I think I can speak for us all when I say: gross.
During or immediately after this conversation, Evie was pulled into a chat with <EMBER>’s officers. These screenshots are presumably taken by Evie, as they were posted to the aforementioned Reddit threads.
Here is a link to the imgur.
Here is a backup link in case the first one gets deleted.
The officers attempted to be reasonable. You had been warned already not to start drama and yet you did. You decided to be a transphobe in the middle of Ul’dah in a public channel while representing <EMBER>. On a roleplay server, you are often as good as your reputation. It’s fine if you want to throw your reputation in the gutter – that’s your prerogative. But as a representative of the free company, you might as well have been screaming that <EMBER> held the same beliefs you do. When you found out that what you did was not okay, you pitched a fit.
And then you got kicked.
You have this bizarre need to constantly be on a crusade, Evie. If you feel you’ve been wronged, you need to be vindicated. While I don’t have the context of this exchange, here is another set of screenshots of Evie starting drama with what appears to be a Coeurl roleplay group. The language used by Evie alone was enough to raise my eyebrows when I first read it.
Here’s the thing: I don’t care about the drama concerning <EMBER>. What I care about is that fact that you’re transphobic, Evie. Final Fantasy XIV has an amazing LGBTQ+ community. You said during your argument in shout chat and during your conversation with the officers of <EMBER> that it is just your opinion and that thoughts are different than actions. What you fail to realize is that by normalizing your highly bigoted opinion, you are making it okay to commit acts of violence against the people you say those things about.
Frankly, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I said in the beginning of this post that I was conflicted about writing this. That was, of course, until your Reddit post. You could have kept quiet. You could have slinked away to lick your wounds. You don’t know who I am but I’ve been watching this unfold from the beginning. In the words of a very old copypasta from the internet, with some liberties:
“What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know that I graduated top of my class in Limsa Lominsa. I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Bahamut and I have over 300 confirmed wipes. I am trained in PvP warfare and I’m the top roleplayer in the entire Crystal data center. You are nothing to me but just another bigot. I will wipe you the fuck out with DPS the likes of which has never been seen before in Eorzea, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to my friends over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak, I’m contacting my secret network of spies and your various accounts are being tracked right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your roleplay character. You’re fucking ruined, Evie. I can be anywhere, anytime, and screenshot you in over seven hundred ways and that’s just me alone. Not only only am I extensively trained in /random combat but I have access to the entire catalog of custom combat systems on Crystal and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little comment was going to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You will drown in it. You’re fucking ruined, kiddo.”
That’s all I have to say about that. Thanks for reading.
Wait, one more thing: don’t use the same username across your different accounts.

What do you think about the plot/spoilers of drrbv?
okay i wasn’t sure when i was gonna answer this but i got all worked up and upset again so i guess now’s a good time as any lol
not sure if i’m allowed to post the spoilers doc so if you wanna see it just dm me and i’ll send you the link
putting this under a cut cuz spoilers and also this gets kinda venty and long
okay first off, disclaimer. nothing against the voices team, even though i am really upset. please don’t send this to them, or harass them, or anything like that. i trust all of you not to do that anyway, but i felt like i should say it anyway given my,, feelings. also second disclaimer i’m just going off what i remember reading because i refuse to look at the doc again, it genuinely makes me nauseous.
so, uh, i guess that answers your question, lol. i hate it. i really, really do hate it.
there’s just,, a lot here to be honest. i guess i’ll go ahead and start with the obvious source of upset here: seishi’s whole character arc. we all know how i feel about him i mean it’s pretty obvious that his fate would come into play here
it’s not even just the fact that he dies, it’s.....well, there’s a lot here that i fucking hate. first off, i straight up refuse to accept the fact that marin killed him lol. even if it was just an accident, like,, marin isn’t stupid. why would she put her hand over his mouth if he was suffering from poisoning? and even then, wouldn’t narumi technically be the killer because she was the one who poisoned him in the first place? i dunno if that’s the point like marin was just supposed to be a scapegoat or something, but either way it’s fucking bullshit. and....mikoto?? cutting his head off?? to hide evidence??? unless i misread that???? first off, why the fuck would she do that, and second off, that’s just....too much. i don’t think you could show that in an actual danganronpa game, ffs. they had one character who was dismembered, and he was a robot, for god’s sake. now, i will admit to not finishing v3, so forgive me if i’m mistaken in assuming this, but still it’s just. yikes??
and onto another thing with seishi, they really said fuck seiyumu rights here, huh? ngl i guess this is pretty biased since it’s such a huge comfort ship for me but i really do think it’s shitty, manipulative writing to tease the ship like this and then suddenly yank it away and have him try to kill ayumu anyway. even if it wasn’t a ship i cared about so much i still would be upset about them doing that it’s such a cruddy thing to do, like. they evidently were going to share a kiss scene and everything, and didn’t they even confirm seishi had romantic feelings for ayumu?? i don’t understand why they would have all that and then continue with the assassination plot unless it was just to make the whole plot more “edgy” and/or like,, try to show how evil and bad seishi is. which is honestly pretty stupid when they wrote him to be the biggest dork ever but what the fuck ever i guess none of that actually matters in the scheme of things. fuck characterization, who needs it?
IN SPEAKING OF THEY REALLY SCREWED OVER A LOT OF CHARACTERS HERE, HUH. i really thought they’d let saiji live because i remember seeing that miwashiba originally wanted him to live in their version until his va dropped out, but they decided to toss all that out the window. and, hey, his death/arc could’ve been interesting anyway, i would’ve been sad but not this upset if they actually did something with him, but they instead decided to make his whole fucking arc rely on maiko which. just isn’t fair to either of them. maiko deserves better than to be “fridged almost gf that causes saiji to kill” and saiji deserves better than to be “guy who only thinks about maiko and his guilt over her death to the point where it overrides every other bit of his characterization”. that whole murder plot/chapter motive didn’t make a lick of sense anyway. just. fuck.
i also really think they screwed over mikoto in having her be a killer, to be honest. her whole character in miwashiba’s original version was that she hated needless killing, and, idk, it just seemed weird to me that they decided to completely ignore that. and they made her spoiled and bratty like??? i don’t know it just rubs me all the wrong way. i also take issue with narumi being the mastermind to be honest. i feel like it could’ve worked, if they’d set it up better, and i dunno, maybe it would’ve been if they’d been able to continue, but her reasoning for doing it is just......it’s another thing i take issue with. that whole backstory is convoluted, and i can’t get through the exposition part of the doc without getting a headache. you can say what you want about miwashiba’s version, but it’s at least cleaner, and it makes more sense. and i don’t even wanna talk about akira’s involvement here i still don’t understand it.
i’m starting to run out of steam and i’ve probably gone on long enough anyway (lord knows me and my friends gone on extensively about this) but it basically for me boils down to a lack of awareness over their own characters, too convoluted of a plot, and a lot of pointless edginess and what feels like twists for the sake of shock value (like what is the point of changing the pot as a weapon in chapter one to an acid squirt gun???? who asked for that????), and i know a lot of my friends feel the same, too. i really wish i could find something to be excited about for it, i mean, apparently they were going to have an arc about kazuomi being gay and i guess that’s neat but like. fuck. everything else kinda spoils it for me.
most of this probably won’t affect the way i interact with the series much since voices is just an au of the og rebirth and i tended to prefer the original anyway when writing fanfic for it but,, the whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. reading the epilogue bits made my stomach sink, and not in a good way that i think they were going for.
and of course, it’s fine if you disagree with me, but it really upset me and i had to get it off my chest and i’d really like it if we didn’t discuss it too much on this blog, please. i can’t even pretend to be excited about it, it’s got me that fucked up.

[Translation] 100% SKE48 vol.1 Furuhata Nao
Tumblr media
BUBKA already announced vol.3!! and we are still here at vol.1 lol
Yeah, some content (especially, regarding General Election) may be obsolete, but I think it’s still worth reading. This time it’s Nao-chan. She’s so adorable, saying that she will protect members’ smile. Nao is also a great performer. She really did change. You can see clearly in “Kin no ai, Gin no ai” live. I also notice that she stepped to another level when I saw her performance in Solo con. (must watch!!)
Hope you guys enjoy this interview!
Furuhata Nao in Miyazawa Sae’s graduation concert was spectacular.
She flew out of her beloved SKE48 to experience the world outside.
With frustration for not having gone to “Kouhaku” last year
And “Crisis” that Matsui Jurina mentioned,
In conclusion, she has decided!
The love for SKE48 has doubled up, my “study abroad diary”
“everyone’s smile, I will protect it!”
 Awareness of being professional
 - Today, we think we will hold “Furuhata Nao commendatory ceremony”, so we rush from Tokyo.
Nao: *clap* Then, I would just sit still.
- That wouldn’t be an interview. Please let us ask *laugh* Firstly, Furuhata-san’s performance suddenly seemed different. Compared to the stage that I watched 2 months ago, the concert at Gaishi Hall in March was so spectacular.
Nao: Eh? Is that so?
- Eh? You don’t know? *laugh* It’s apparently different. Seemed like you’re holding an invincible weapon, full of confidence.
Nao: But I’m not confident at all. How should I put it…maybe, there’s some sort of feeling that has changed. I want SKE48 to be more excellent. I feel that my foundation is SKE48, I want more people to know this. I want the current SKE48 to be better. These thoughts came out through my performance.
- Oh..I see.
Nao: And, maybe I’m enjoying being an idol, enjoying singing and dancing.
- Furuhata-san in “Chicken LINE” was great. It’s like you have magic charm. You looked really confident *laugh*
Nao: I’m not that great.
- It’s like going through to another dimension. Does this involve with “Hana yori Dango” stageplay that you got a role in Jan. - Feb.?
Nao: I think it’s somewhat involved. My opinion towards SKE48 also changed. Before, I’d been thinking about what SKE48 should do, but now I focus on what I could do…
- I got it. You want to see how the group would change if you do something, so it’s shown in your performance, right?
Nao: That’s right! In the past, I was always worried about my position, but now I don’t compare with others anymore. Though I have higher goals than in idol group, but now SKE48 is more important than anything. This thought will never be shaken.
- I never thought you would think that much. I thought it’s just experience from stageplay that enhanced your performance. Anyways, wasn’t there anyone told you that “you look changed”?
Nao: None *laugh* Ah! Manager-san told me “your attitude towards work gets more professional” Of course, it’s because I experienced the world outside from stageplay. I have grown when I came back to SKE48. However, about acting, other co-actors were so great. I couldn’t compare to them.
- Is that so? I went to see it, too. I didn’t see any difference.
Nao: No, I wasn’t good at all. Not at all! I could realize that my attitude towards work was too immature. In SKE48, I’m classified as Onee-san. But outside, I’m just a kid. Though I thought “I have to do my best”, but I deeply realized how naive my thought is.
 The outside is greatly different
 - Furuhata-san in “Hana yori Dango” (as Toudou Shizuka) had to go to study in Paris. It’s just like you who came from SKE48 to study in the world outside
Nao: Ah…that’s true.
- Toudou Shizuka came back from Paris, Furuhata-san also has grown up when coming back to SKE48. It’s the same.
Nao: I never thought of this *laugh*
- As you mentioned, you “realized how naive your thought is” It must be tough for this study experience.
Nao: All actors/actresses are professional, right? Their dedication to the role was really different from me. They always study their script, pick up every detail. Not only that, they can also adapt to everything they were told. They are awesome.
- In March last year, you were one of members who challenged with “AKB49” stageplay. Then, you joined “Hana yori dango” How did you feel about that?
Nao: I thought this should help me grow up. I’m just an amateur, need to start from one. I thought “this will be good for Furuhata Nao for sure” As everyone was strict with me, I understand well that they did it for me.
- Strict?
Nao: This time, my mental got much stronger *laugh* It was like I really got crushed!
- Got crushed!
Nao: Though it’s me who couldn’t do it, but “49” still couldn’t compare with this…
- Wait a second, I heard “49” was so difficult that you wanted to run away from rehearsal, right? There were even some members who hates rehearsal that their face turned blue. Is this even more strict than “49”?
Nao: Yeah. I think Shino Isamu-san (director of AKB49) was very patient with us because members aren’t professional actresses. He taught us with understanding. Shino-san wanted it to come out as best as it could. He wanted to create good memories for us, so he put so much effort. Come to think of it now, I think he was too kind *laugh*
- So, it was totally a different world, right? Did you got scolded everyday like “Geez! You!”?
Nao: It’s not that harsh. The director was so patient. But what’s frustrating is me, knowing that I couldn’t do anything. Other actors’ level is high, I couldn’t catch up with them. I felt disappointed.
- Felt like everyone is studying high school math, but only you are in junior high, something like that?
Nao: Yeah, something like that. I didn’t want to cry at first, but I thought crying may be a way to express myself. So, I just poured out all feelings that I kept *laugh*
- I want to see rehearsal *laugh*
Nao: At first I thought if I cry, I would taint SKE48 but I didn’t tell anyone. In latter half of rehearsal, I cried almost every day.
- While other members were doing their jobs as usual, you had to face this alone.
Nao: Though other actors told me that I “have really strong spirit” but they may say it in order to encourage me. They said like “If I were you, I would have run away”
- I really want to see making *laugh* Isn’t it great to have this kind of experience? Furuhata-san was already great before the stageplay, you got even greater after that.
Nao: Happy to hear that.
- Just like Frieza in third form. (T/N: Frieza from Dragonball Z)
Nao: F…Frieza third form?
- You are almost the strongest one!
Nao: Everybody changes no matter what.
- Seems like studying abroad this time is successful.
Nao: Yeah! I’ll try harder.
 I want to protect Jurina
 - Let’s change the topic here. At Gaishi Hall, there was Miyazawa Sae’s graduation concert, how did you feel?
Nao: We saw members’ smile during performance, right? I want to protect those smiles.
- That’s huge *laugh*
Nao: SKE48 is where I belong. It’s the place like family. Having comrades is important, I don’t like it if there’s anything hurt members. When Sae-san graduated, everyone’s worried, right? Like in Gaishi Hall, I don’t like that kind of feeling.
- Your love for SKE48 is still the same, it never changes.
Nao: I also think that I still haven’t repaid SKE48 for letting me pass the audition. I’ve been thinking about this all along. I want to thank SKE48 and do something that I could do for them before I graduate. When I was standing on stage, I looked at fans who always support us happily. I don’t want good things to end, so I will not let their support go to waste.
- So, you had lots of thought at Gaishi Hall.
Nao: Then, after Sae-san got off the stage, Jurina-san said “SKE48 is in pinch”, right? I thought “Even Jurina-san said that…” Though she’s a big Senpai, I want to protect her. No matter what, she’s the face of SKE48. Since Rena-san graduated, she bears the burden alone. Even though I am junior, but I don’t want her to bear this burden on and on.
- What a deep thought. When members stood in row to send off Sae-san, what did you talk with her?
Nao: She said “Sorry, I couldn’t make it to your stageplay. It’s regrettable.” After I replied “that’s alright!” She said “From now on, please take care of SKE48”
- What was it like having Sae-san?
Nao: She’s someone that I wouldn’t be able to reach. That lively interaction with people, that kindness…It’s something I can’t imitate.
- It’s not like that. What do you think Sae-san has left for SKE48?
Nao: Warmth. Love is essential *laugh*
- You said something huge again *laugh*
Nao: I really think like that! To let the camera gets better shots of us, she represented us to talk with staff-san. She cried while speaking “I want SKE48 to be better!” When she talks with members, we can feel her kindness. As we received the love from her, we became more cheerful. That’s why love is important. This warmth led us to the right direction.
- That’s why Furuhata-san also changed?
Nao: I feel happier, have more fun. Sae-san is good at brightening up the atmosphere. If only Sae-san is there, the smiles enhanced. Once she graduated, I feel lonely.
- Talking about graduation, Miyamae Ami-san in the same gen is also…
Nao: I could feel it a bit before she announced. I knew it from the atmosphere. She’s not good at lying.
- However, 5th gen becomes less and less.
Nao: That’s right. There’s almost 4 people left. It’s so fast. There are only me and Huppy (Harutamu), who are a bit grown up, and (Ego) Yuna, Narutin (Ichino Narumi) That’s all. Anyways, Ami-tan (Miyamae) also run for general election. There’s still time. I’m glad.
 The bet on general election
 - This is what we heard from other members in interviews of this issue, at Gaishi Jurina-san said “SKE48 is in pinch” but they can feel now that it’s getting better. The wind is shifting. What do you think?
Nao: It depends on how you look at it. If you look at the goal above, it’s still not enough. But because of Jurina-san’s word, members became more united. You can say the wind is shifting.
- That’s right. If we view it from different perspective, the answer would also be different.
Nao: Anyways, once we think that seniors won’t be here forever, what should we do? Of course, SKE48’s pillars are seniors, their popularity, their performance, interesting MC…seniors are also want to graduate to follow their own dreams, but how it’s going to be if they graduate? We, juniors, must work harder, must set a higher goal. Whenever there’s senior graduates, we feel the gap like “we’ve depended on her too much” As in current situation, there’s only Jurina-san who is well-known. SKE48’s goal is to “perform at Kouhaku!” and “hold a concert at Nagoya dome” But if we can’t gain popularity, those dreams wouldn’t come true. So, everyone has to be more well-known…do these things make you feel “you think too much”? If you think it’s not good, you don’t need to publish it.
- No way. I will publish them all *laugh* A moment ago, you said about “Kouhaku”, but looks like we still don’t hear the word “Want to be there again!” from members.
Nao: If we say it out, we must be aware and confident. Though I don’t know how much everyone wants to be on that stage, but we need to set goal for the group first, where we gonna go. We must make a decision, for example, betting on this time general election.
- Speaking of election, what’s your goal this year?
Nao: Senbatsu!
- Clear cut!
Nao: I want to enter Senbatsu! I’m almost 20 now, not sure how many years I will still be idol. If I can get into Senbatsu, maybe I can see the next step more clearly. This is also an opportunity to spread SKE48 around. Last year, I got 24th rank, so next it must be Senbatsu. I got fast pass to Senbatsu last year, I will not disappoint them (fans). To make it clear, I want 1-digit rank. I would be happy If it’s the position that will always be in camera. *laugh* Even if it’s difficult, I will keep moving forward!
- So reliable! In the past year, do you feel that you have grown up?
Nao: My way of thinking has seriously changed. My feeling for SKE48 gets stronger. It really has changed. It’s so obvious this year.
- Do you worry about number of members that will be in ranking?
Nao: Last year, we ranked a lot. When people see in the news, they would think “SKE48 is popular” It’s a good thing.
- This year, we also look forward to your passionate speech. Speaking like “I really, really, really love SKE48” while crying. *laugh*
Nao: Seemed like Takamina-san also said “she’s so fired up” *laugh* If I get a good rank, I already have what I want to say in mind. I want to thank AKB48 because if there’s no AKB48, there would be no SKE48. AKB48 is like the beginning. I may not be here today if there’s no AKB.
- You answer wonderfully till the end *laugh* So, “Furuhata Nao commendatory ceremony” will end here.

A bit of talk about my favorite casts overall in Touhou, because I'm kinda fixated on it today:
MoF: My favorite cast.  Sanae, Kanako, and Suwako would carry this team on their own, but then you get Aya who is great, the Aki sisters who I really love despite them not having a ton going on, Hina who is interesting to me, and even Nitori who I've come around to liking through repeated exposure.  The only real detriment to the team is Momiji, who hasn't done anything wrong, I'm just constantly pissed at how unreasonably popular she is.  How the hell did this character with no dialogue ever manage to break top 20?  How did people decide she was a top favorite, much less a stronger character than Kanako and Suwako?   To each their own opinions, and I'm not about to fight anyone over it, but this is the single most confusing thing about fan perceptions to me.
SA: If anyone were to say that my pick for best cast is dumb and that it's obviously the SA crew, I'd probably concede immediately.  I can't think of a character in this game that isn't great.  Chireiden is especially fantastic, bringing in some of my favorites overall.  Half the cast typically places around top 20 for me, and I think that alone shows how great they are.  The only truly low-ranking one is Kisume, who just...doesn't have anything to work with, really.
TD: I love the TD cast.  I wish I could fully articulate why, I just appreciate them. Seiga is delightfully wicked, Miko is awesome, Futo is a lot of fun, and even Tojiko has just enough presence that I want to know more about what her deal is.  Yoshika and Kyouko are a bit lower for me, but are still solid enough characters.  Then there's Mamizou, my third favorite character overall.  In the game, she seems pretty good, but it's another situation where the more I see of her, the more I love her character.  It's a shame the extra stage is so frustrating to me.   If I sat down and actually applied myself, I might be able to clear it...
PCB: Prismrivers are A+ characters, I don't care what anyone else says!  This game also brought in Alice, who is top-tier, as well as general fan-favorites in Yukari, Yuyuko, and Youmu.  This is one situation, at least, where I agree with fan perceptions.  All of these characters are great.  The only one I don't have strong opinions on is Letty, which is a shame because she's a Yuki-Onna, and those are awesome creatures.  I guess they can't all be winners.
LoLK: I just feel like this is where they should go.  I love Junko, Clownpiece is great (especially in the manga), Sagume and Hecatia are fascinating, and I really like Doremy.  If anything really holds them back, it's the game itself, with its kind of awkward resource collection system, and the ridiculous difficulty set up by the PointDevice mode (which I really dislike).  There are some really great characters floating around, but I just can't get as attached to them.  Maybe it's because they mostly will never show up again.  Maybe it's because the game is such a pain that I can't be asked to experience the characters again by playing it.  Whatever the case, I think "above average" is a decent designation for the cast as a whole.
HSiFS: Tentatively putting them here.  May wind up going above PCB, but I'd be surprised if I wind up feeling that positively toward the whole cast.   Really, I think this is where they'd belong.  Close to average, but a little above, largely based on the few standouts and some personal attachments.  Eternity and Narumi are the two big standouts, while Satono and Mai are the ones I have personal attachment to, for reasons involving wanting to see more of their history.  Okina's also incredibly lore-significant, which is hard to ignore, even if I'm not her biggest fan right now.  They're a good cast.
UFO: And now we come to by benchmark average.  UFO is not a cast I am particularly enamored with.  I really like Kogasa, and despite never directly meeting her in-game, I love Nue's concept.  Byakuren and Nazrin are also particularly good, but the mid-game cast of Ichirin, Murasa, and Shou don't really appeal to me much.  They kind of all even out to a solid average cast.  By contrast...
IN: this cast is mostly just average.  There's really only two standouts, but both are standouts because of subsequent games and manga.  Those two being Kaguya and Mokou.  I feel almost nothing toward the rest of this cast.  Kaguya manages to be one of my overall favorites, based on her presentation largely in Inaba of the Moon/Earth, and Mokou jumped significantly based on her interactions with Futo and Sumireko in ULiL.  Reisen is also growing on me, though I wouldn't call her a favorite.  I think what keeps this one below UFO is just that the majority of the cast feels very bland to me.
EoSD: "Steve, you fucking hypocrite, they're not even last place."  Look buddy, I have only ever stated dislike for this cast based on my inherent contrarianism, and I think we all know this.  So, to kinda make my case, we're going to factor out fanon, because I could complain about fanon interpretations of this crew being the absolute worst for literal hours.  I'm serious, I've done it before. Anyway, on their own, the cast is not bad, I just have virtually no interest in them. Flandre, by all accounts, should be one of my favorites.  I love that archetype. But for some reason, she just doesn't resonate as much with me as she ought to, and I often wonder if that's because I can't separate out my contempt for fanon interpretations coupled with how high-ranked she always is.  Patchouli is excellent, and I largely adore her because of her association with elemental magic, which is a favorite of mine, though she still ranks below other magicians because she's kinda plain in that regard (Alice's dolls are way more interesting conceptually, and Marisa is far more organic in her application of magic).  And that's where the positives stop.  Remilia and Sakuya can have some good moments, but I ultimately don't appreciate them as much.  Cirno is a character I have long not liked, who is only recently starting to be appreciated with manga appearances (as a side character) and her role in HSiFS.  The rest of the cast ranges from complete disinterest to disdain.  Meiling and Rumia just aren't interesting, Koakuma gets a few points entirely because Koishi's Heart-Throbbing Adventure made her best villain, and Daiyousei is in eternal contempt for doing nothing ever yet outranking excellent characters like Kanako and Mamizou somehow.  They're a mix of disinterest, dislike, and not as interesting as they should be, which leads to a particularly low ranking.
DDC: Of course, if we're being fair, the EoSD cast is not my least-favorite. Fanon certainly makes them the group I complain about the hardest, but my most disinterested feelings go to DDC.  I struggle to think of a single character in this game that stands out at all.  Let's get this out of the way: Seija is a fascinating character, but I don't like her.  I mentioned this with Okina in another post, but I can find a lot of characters interesting while still disliking how they are.  And that's the big issue.  Seija's usually the one that would pull this team for people, and she has, hysterically, the opposite effect on me.  Sukuna is similarly not that engaging, and unlike most characters added to the fighting games, her presence in ULiL did nothing for me.  The first three stage bosses are all just smallfry who show up ready to fight with the social upheaval thing going on, but ultimately fail to have particularly unique traits, and...honestly, a mermaid and werewolf are a bit too western for me?  I have the same kind of issue with EoSD, where the western stuff feels a bit too familiar, so I can't appreciate the novelty of a character's species if there's nothing else to go off of.   Which means that the Tsukumos kinda get the favorites spot (I told you about the contrarianism). They're associated with music and storms, and you fight them in the middle of a thunderstorm.  As far as coolness factor goes, they win, hands down.  I also just like their designs best.  I know everyone else in the world seems to like them least, but I think they're the strongest entries.  You know, despite still being somewhat bland overall.  They're no Prismrivers, that's for sure.
