There’s this one line I made up for my fic (something that Din’s buir often says to him) that I would really, really love to get translated into Mando’a if you’re up for it
“Two Mandalorians halve the enemy” (or “two Mandalorians, half the enemy”—I can’t decide on which version I prefer because both work and I’ve used both)
Ooh, this is a fun one!
So there are many ways to construct an “X this, X that” kind of a sentence/proverb, but the point is usually symmetry and directly contrasting the two halves of the sentence.
You could say “t’ad mando’ade, dul aru’e” or “two mandos, half the enemies.” (I’m using aru’e and not aruese, because that’s what Traviss also has used.)
Or “ke’tanari mando’ade, ke’duli aru’e,” “double the mandos, halve the enemies.” Tanarir is my own derivation for “to double,” from ta- (one of the prefixes for two) and narir (to act, which is a really common in compound words), literally something like “to do twice”. I angsted over finding a good word/root for “x times,” didn’t figure out one I liked, and decided to go with the simple action root. Dulir is simply dul + verbal suffix.
Or even “tanarir mando’ade, dulir aru’e,” “to double the mandos is to halve the enemies” or “doubling the mandos (is) halving the enemies.”
I don’t think you have to pick any one correct version. Use the first one (with only nouns) when commenting on a job or the relative numbers of forces. Use the one with infinitives (the last one) as a proverb like “many hands make light work,” and one with ke as an exhortation to pitch in and make the work light, like “c’mon lads, let’s double the hands and make light the work.”
And if you don’t mind, I’m using this both as it’s own entry as a proverb, and an illustration for dul/dulir (with attribution ofc). Thanks for the ask!

Numbers
What's 6 in Mando'a? What about 501st? How do you say "execute order 66"? In this blog post, we'll cover the Mando'a cardinal and ordinal number system, how to make any number from 0-9,999 and other words useful when discussing number and math. Sources are indicated with symbols (^ *) and listed at the bottom.
Numerals
Mando'a uses a base-5 numbering system supplemented with base-10 suffixes. This means 1-5 are unique words along with 0, 10, 100, and 1000. All other numbers are a combination of those words. As it stands, KT Mando’a allows us to count up to 9,999. Here are the counting numbers:
0 - naas^ (literally "nothing") 1 - solus (prefix: sol) 2 - t'ad (prefix: ad) 3 - ehn (prefix: ehn) 4 - cuir (prefix: cur) 5 - rayshe'a (prefix: she) 6 - resol (prefix: rol) 7 - e'tad (prefix: tad) 8 - she'ehn (prefix: shen) 9 - she'cu (prefix: shek)
For the tens place numerals (20, 30, 40, etc), add the “tens” suffix -’eta to the prefixes above above. 0 and 1 do not act as prefixes for counting purposes. 10 is a unique number (ta+raysh aka "two fives").
10 - ta'raysh 20 - ad'eta* 30 - ehn'eta* 40 - cur'eta* 50 - she'eta* 60 - rol'eta* 70 - tad'eta* 80 - shehn'eta* 90 - shek'eta*
For the hundreds place numerals, the principle is the same. Add the “hundreds” suffix -’olan to the original numbers. Like 10, 100 is a unique number.
100 - olan* 200 - ad'olan^ 300 - ehn'olan^ 400 - cur'olan^ 500 - raysh'olan* 600 - rol'olan^ 700 - tad'olan^ 800 - shen'olan^ 900 - shek'olan^
For the thousands place numerals, the pattern continues. The suffix for “thousands” is a conjunction between the suffixes for “ten” and “hundreds”, -’eta’olan. This makes it literally “tens of hundred”. 1000 is an exception to the rule and is instead “ten hundred”.
1000 - ta’raysh’olan* 2000 - ad’eta’olan^ 3000 - ehn’eta’olan^ 4000 - cur’eta’olan^ 5000 - she’eta’olan* 6000 - rol’eta’olan^ 7000 - tad’eta’olan^ 8000 - shen’eta’olan^ 9000 - shek’eta’olan^
More Numbers
To fill the gaps in the above list, simply write out each place with a space between. Eleven (11) is ta'raysh solus*. Two hundred-sixty-three (263) in English is ad’olan rol’eta ehn^ in Mando’a. "Execute order sixty-six" becomes "Ke narir haar’ke’gyce rol’eta resol".
Ordinals
To turn a numeral into an ordinal (1 to 1st or 10 to 10th), add the descriptor suffix -yc. Theoretically this should also work with the suffix -la, but -yc is the one explicitly acknowledged in the KT dictionary. The last (singles) place numeral receives the descriptor suffix. E.g. she’olan sol'yc (501st) or cur’etayc (40th)
Other Useful Words
Soletar, verb, "to count" Sosol ti, phrase, "equal to" Majycir, verb, "to add" Te'habir, verb "to remove or take out" aka subtract
There's no ready answer for "multiply" or "divide", though creative use of tatugir "to repeat" could work in some cases. Fractions might be verbally represented as solus be ta'raysh "1 of 10" or some other prepositional combo that can also represent division. "Mathematics" also doesn't have a dedicated word, but "to calculate" is mirdir.
"But do Mandalorian space-barbarians really need to know math--" Yes. Ballistics. Logistics. Counting pay. Math is everywhere, it is inescapable. Inevitable. Evil Essential.
Sources
Words without source symbols are from officially published works by Karen Traviss, namely the Republic Commando novels. Reference this index to see the book & page number.
Asterik* words are from the lexicon Karen Traviss published digitally, which is hosted as-is on Mandoa.org without alterations (or corrections).
Carat^ words are derivations from the canon words' established patterns. As such, if you want to go with a different interpretation, have fun! These are suggestions and I ain't a cop. We'll answer follow-up questions on how they're derived, but we're not interested in arguing merits of one interpretation over another.

Tumblr media
tbh, mas pangit ugali niya kesa dun sa dati kong bisor sa dati kong work, at least yun medyo mas professional kesa sakanya. haha. i used to admire him at first, pero now? haha. tawa nalang.

Hold The Line by Avicii - in Mando'a
I'm still on my bullshit!
I found this song, uh, yesterday? And I've been listening to it on repeat ever since, and it just gives me such clones vibes that I spent the entire afternoon today translating it. I used a new dictionary (many thanks to @johamur for the links!) which made translating it significantly easier than the one I was using before, although since Mando'a has no word for surrender, I did have to get, uh, extremely creative with my meanings in the second verse XD I also reversed one line because it just... didn't make sense for the clones otherwise.
As always, any advice, feedback, and general linguistics flailing is more than welcome! (Though, please be gentle, I haven't gone over this as much as I should have, since I finished it in... three hours?)
Here's the song:
Ke'tayli Briik (Hold the Line)
Tracy'uur bal kad (Blaster and sword) Carud o'r prudiise (Smoke in the shadows) Gar ven dargana* (You will lose) Gar kovid bar kyrbej (Your head on the battlefield)
Gar eku bat gar (You choke on your) Kar'ta o'r gar uram (Heart in your throat) Gar aala sa (You feel like) Digu enteyo akaanir (You forget you've gotta fight)
Mhi nu lise trattok'or (We can't collapse) Mhi ven draar shuku (We will never break)
Ash'amur evaar'la (Dying young) Mhi tayli cuun kovide (We keep our heads) Mhi tal'onidi (We go the extra mile) Narir cuyanir (Trying to survive)
Kar'am o'r haalas (The breath in your chest) Dralshya gar or'trikar (Is stronger than your grief)
Vaab ra ash'am (Do or die) Al mhi oyayc (But we're alive) Vaal mhi olar (While we're here) Ke'tayli briik! (Hold the line!)
Ke'tayli briik! (Hold the line!)
Naas darganar* (Nothing to lose) Bic gar kyr'yc akaan (It's your last fight) Ke'burujai (Sound the alarm) Shi parjai ra kyr'am (Only victory or death)
Nu partayli (No remembrance) Nu parjir kote al (No winning glory but) Tran* yaimpa (The sun returns) Sha kyr be ca (At the end of the night)
Ke'tayli briik! (Hold the line!)
Ash'amur evaar'la (Dying young) Mhi tal'onidi (We go the extra mile) Ash'amur evaar'la (Dying young) Ke'tayli briik! (Hold the line!)
[*darganar = dar (no longer) + ganar (to have, to possess)] [*tran = tranyc (sunny) - yc (adjective suffix)]

I know these things for wholesome* reasons
did you know that the Mando'a word "naritir" means "to insert"?
also that the expression "nar dral'shya", translated "try harder" or "put your back into it" comes from the root words dral (bright, powerful, strong), either "narir" (to act, to put) or "naritir" (to insert, to place), and "-shya" (the comparative suffix, similar to adding an -er in English.) So I would argue that you could also translate it as something with a connotation like "shove it in harder!"
Conlangs are fun.
*wedding night smut is wholesome right?

omg okay bobine the protector one then obikin the cody one and also the vaderwan
I hope this meets expectations @soloorganaas
Bobine protector AU
So when the woman cried out and shook with her orgasm, Sabine didn't miss Bo-Katan, eyes still on her young Protector, mouth the words, Narir gar vercopa ibic cuyir? (Do you wish this was you?) before finally breaking away to press a lazy kiss against the woman's trembling shoulder.
Anakin makes Cody listen to him fuck Obi-Wan
“You trust him?”
“Of course not. But I distrust him the least.” Vader settles his gloved cybernetic hand against Obi-Wan’s cheek, brushing his thumb from skin to beard. “Or else I wouldn’t have charged him with your safety.”
Emperor vaderwan, the first time anakin hit him
He could have easily found his way across the clear path with eyes closed even without the Force to guide him, but he let Anakin have the luxury of feeling in control. He was glad to shut out the proud columns and empty vast corridors. Rivers of gold and bronze, crimson and blue that once stretched on with an abundance of excited Padawans, steadfast knights, and watchful masters. Often, he tried to convince himself that he would grow accustom to the emptiness.

i think the equivalent would be g'r’an’r’ent’run'ri. it's ridiculous.
g'r’an - y’all from gar an, 'you all'. a literal translation. gr'an works better than my initial thought of gar'n.
r’ent’run'ri - would have trickier. going with enteyor ’be obliged to’ since it's the closest to 'would' and narir ‘to act’. both are future tense, so ru- gets added to the beginning to make them r’enteyo runari, after dropping the -r to produce the stem of the word.
gar an r’enteyor runari - you all would have [lit] you all are obliged to act.
jaster mereel, with his concord dawn dialect of mando'a: y'all'd've
other mandalorians, in tears: please i dont know what you're saying

Nari'ad I usually translate as "The Traveller", but the verb narir means not only "to go" but can also mean "to act, do". It can also mean "One who brings change" or "The Doer". Given her inclination to frequently travel and find herself in the middle of things, it wouldn't be too out there to say it's both.
Nari'ad is change or action, change through putting things into action, through innovation. You could argue she's the spirit of rebellion, shaking up the status quo, toppling empires, pulling a mirror to reveal one's hubris. Like her father and siblings, she strikes against her uncle Arasuum (stagnation) through rebellion and groundbreaking innovation through other means (academia being one as she is, under everything, a scientist...)
Change can follow destruction (Kad Ha'rangir) war (Akaani), chaos/strife (Hod Haran), vengeance (Skira), justice (Tor), learning (Tay'haai), healing (Baati Ja'haal) or death (Kyr'am).
But Nari'ad is also champion diety of the people. To rail against not just the mortal institutions and abuses of power, but she is one who challenges the Celestials them. To question them on their shit, to put it crassly.
It would also make sense in a way why she's just out of periphery for big things. In a very Hellenistic mythos way. The hero usually has a god watching over them, just in this case she's unaware of her Celestial nature and just doing things because there's some instinctual Force vibes stuff going on at the heart of it. (Though she may say it's from boredom or the prospect of dying in some great mission sounds better than a blaster bolt to your head at the kitchen table...or just wanted to fuck around and find out...)
In short, if Kar's on your side, shit's gonna go down. Whether working for you in your favor or against you undermining your every move is anyone's guess.
