I DIDN'T SEE ANYONE TALKING ABOUT THIS... BUT CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT TO APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT IN NANDOR'S ARMY HE REQUESTED SCARBOROUGH FAIR IN THE RADIO?!

This song talks about a love left behind and how this person that could do everything (and the impossible) to the singer was their true love, but for some reason would never know about it.

In the episode Nandor goes rogue and away, lefting Guilhermo behind, but morns him and askes for this specific song in the radio. All this without talking about the whole break up scene.

(I don't think they will be canon, but they are certainly letting us dream huh?)

because "charging it in the car will kill its battery" which while its certainly an excuse to come in and check on nandor, isn't it interesting that his excuse involves him just sitting in his car outside the warehouse instead of going literally anywhere else?

Once again thinking about the possible Nandor turning human pathway, specifically with this Nandor/Guillermo exchange if it got used as foreshadowing:

Guillermo: You know, I do know what it feels like to lose your purpose. I used to wanna be a vampire so bad it guided every choice I made. I mean, don’t get me wrong. I’m happy I’m a human again, but it was hard. It was hard waking up every day with that not being the goal, to be a vampire.

Nandor: Well, I am already a vampire, so that only sort of applies.

Guillermo: Right. Well the point is, I think I found a new purpose. You will too, somewhere. But maybe, right now, our purposes are taking us in different directions.

As if Nandor hasn’t been yearning to be human long before Guillermo started to. As if their purposes aren’t different at all anymore. Their dreams for themselves have never been more similar.

“I am already a vampire” - the only real difference between them here, is their baseline position for this purpose (even when Guillermo was turned, he was never a vampire long enough for that to be his baseline; not like it is for Nandor).

And maybe centuries ago, Nandor did see vampirism as his purpose (like Guillermo did), but he also woke up “one day” no longer being driven by that.

The cruel thing is, Guillermo returned to being a human almost the instant he felt his purpose change—but Nandor’s purpose changed years ago, and he has never been able to actualise it the way Guillermo did.
