thanks to a post on here I keep thinking about rem’s words about how vash and nai were angels. it kinda made me think of how plants could possibly be a result of humans experimenting with plants and the like.

how those beings are artificial. and the fact that humanity had to stray from earth and into the seeds ships, it could be seen as the destruction of “the garden” from the Bible. how adam and eve themselves destroyed paradise.

it’s making me think of how vash and nai are somehow “purer.”

it also kinda of makes sense with how nai views the bible and religion as a literal history textbook.

nai also said in episode three “do you ever wonder what it’s like to talk to a god?” (dub version)

Love love love that there's no hiding who and what he is whe Vash talks to Plants, whether he's bright as a glowstick or sprouting wings because that's his kin!!!! There is no need for a guise in front of them!!! He's at his most vulnerable when he's communicating with his sisters... even in the 98 anime where he doesn't get Plant features it's always so ethereal

Just a comic about Rem Saverem.

Nai loved his mother, he truly did. If not, why would he grace her mercy to escape the ship with them? Why wouldn't he kill her himself, and instead left fate to decide upon her demise?

He loathed the Rem he sees in Luida, the Rem he sees in Meryl, the Rem he sees in Vash; he hates the 'Rem' that was crafted in his mind over the years, haunting him wherever he go. But would he hate the actual Rem had he seen her again?

Nai loved her just as much as he hates her, and he hates that he loved her, just as much as he hates the humanity both his loved ones had chosen over him.

the one scene that always gets to me that involves knives is the scene where teen vash finally points the gun at him. just. the emotions that goes through his face, the shock, denial, the point where he’s trying to reason why. when he looks at anywhere else but vash until he finally tries to brave a smirk but it still wobbles because the one person who knows just turned against him.
