Fangirls love to defend their shitty taste by saying that in romance novels male characters are kind to the heroine, and you know how we all know it's true with how they simp for the most abusive and fucked up romance but there's not only that

Fangirls obviously care about appearance but also about the "loyalty" of a male character. It's why it's ok that he treat the heroine they self insert in like shit, because they're still obsessed with her which is still attention

In romance I constantly see the second male lead being stanned not because he is better written than the first male lead but just because his character IS to be in love, so his only goal in life is to have the heroine, contrary to the male lead who dare have a life outside of her

At the end, it's just desire of being obsessed over by a hot guy, more he have nothing in his life than his obsession better he is

[Orange Obikaka AU]

So I had this thought for awhile, and I’ve finally come into terms with it. Figured out the whole plot and whatnot.

A Naruto x Orange AU featuring Obito and Kakashi.

If you don’t know, Orange is a series that revolves around two main characters along with some sides that are there for moral support (platonic wise.) Naho Takamiya is your average school girl. Shy, introverted, sweet, and sickeningly kind. One day she receives a letter from her so called ‘future self.’ In this letter it warns her about certain circumstances, and tells her how to avoid making crucial mistakes. However, all of it revolves around the transfer student. Kakeru Naruse. A troubled and very well hidden boy who goes through a bunch of traumatic events despite his new friends efforts.

This anime has a bunch of angst and sad undertones, as you can pretty much tell by now. Yet, it has some fluff and lighthearted moments as well. All depends on how you play your role.

Now, you might be thinking. Who would be who? Well, Kakashi will obviously be Kakeru Naruse due to the fact that the role fits perfectly. You’ll understand once I explain more, or if you watched the show to begin with. Obito though will NOT be playing as the main, Naho Takamiya, as weird as that sounds considering it’s significant. I see her as Rin. No, he will be acting as Hiroto Suwa. The friend that has a crush on her but is also very self sacrificing, willing to assist just for her sake. Even if it means giving up on his former love.

The twist in this? Kakashi will end up falling for Obito instead of Rin unlike in the past. And Obito in return will also reciprocate these feelings, despite him denying it for awhile due to his morals, knowing that Rin likes Kakashi.

There’s a lot more to go over, but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t watched it. If you’re interested in this crossover then just comment on this blog and I’ll send more details regarding this rp idea in pms.

☕ your fictional otp?

ooo i can think of so many off the top of my head. i have an ask about twiyor already and i've been in an orange mood lately, so i'll focus on naho and kakeru from orange!

at first point, these two seem on the quieter side but i think a lot of their chemistry comes from how similar they are! they're both kind, daydreaming souls who are doing their best to move forward without regrets. as kakeru very obviously struggles, naho supports him and grows alongside him. the excitement and uncertainty of first love is captured perfectly in how they meet and interact.

in my opinion naho's shy nature makes kakeru braver. he likes to tease her throughout the series and cares for her in the little things even before they pursued a relationship. naho in turn is endlessly appreciative of his actions and self, expressing how much he means to her. they're both awkward cuties and it's so sweet to watch <33

Parallel between Orange and Final Fantasy VII Remake

Today i finally read Orange. I haven't seen the anime so i didn't know anything about it. I have to say that the simple fact of dealing with time travel and suicide in teenagers attracted me a few minutes after I started reading. I love how realistic it has been in each chapter (apart from time travel, in which each one will have their opinions), explaining how teenagers feel during that period and dealing with bullying or others.

I really loved every character that appeared in the whole manga, even that Ueda senpai, just because she was well written and thanks to her Kakeru realized who he really loved.

Also, can we talk about how cute and lovely is Suwa? I want someone like him in my life.

A good point of it is that you can avoid ship wars bc Naho x Suwa and Naho x Kakeru are both canon 🤷🏻‍♀️

To finish, I'll say that as Naho told Kakeru, I'm going to treasure something, but in my case is this manga
