💤 - A headcanon about their sleep

Querardo has always been a boy with quite lots of energy, specially in his younger years. He'd spend more hours outside than on his own bedroom! However while playtime was always fun, it also meant him running out of energy way too fast. So, it was common for him to just lie down and nap on the spot, until he was awoken by someone else or by one of his 5 dogs (?

However there was a slight catch to this, and it's that his home is literally sorrounded by the wilderness, so who-knows whose critters might be roaming around there. As a way to avoid incidents, his mother had to always to look over him wherever he went. It was a win situation for little Que, since for any sudden naptime he'd use his mother as a pillow. With time passing, he still misses those peaceful momments.

Nowadays, Querardo's energy is more balanced, so you won't see him randomly sleeping anywhere (That's Carlos' job). HOWEVER, the recharge is different. Instead of sleeping short moments around the day, he just goes into a deep slumber at night. Typically most outside stimuli won't awoken him, but if somebody manages to... Beware. Chances are you woke him from a dream where he was doing something cool or kissing his crush so you're not going to enjoy seeing him pissed.

...Of course, not always he might be able to sleep. There's some occasions in which unfortunately, no matter how much he tries, he just... Can't. And main reason why has a lot to do with his mental wellbeing. As the final match aganist Brockenborg was approaching, the sleeping hours of the lion started to decrease more and more, to the point, right at the final night, he just spent the whole evening awake. It marked him pretty much forever.

That's all for now, I guess, ignoring that last sad part his sleep schedule is mostly fine. Let me add some little extra however, regarding shipping 👀: If he were to be dating someone, Querardo would 100% try and pretend to be sleepy at random just as an excuse to snuggle with his lover. Let him sleep on your lap, you won't regret it.

yes. honestly i think science and religion don’t just have the ability to coexist i think they’re intrinsically entwined. i mean what is religion if not science before scientific methods? both are just human attempts at understanding the way the world works.

also i think there’s this idea that religion must refer to christianity when really you could bring many asian religions into play here. like for example many of them have the belief that the universe is created and destroyed in cycles (hinduism specifically refers to the trimurti for this). so yeah many people who are hindu or buddhist or whatever would say they support the big bang theory and that it aligns their religious beliefs.

and even if it was a case of christianity then many liberal christians do believe that genesis is a metaphor for creation and that god could’ve caused the big bang. id say only in the most devout literalists circumstances do christians even really reject science wholly. or at least out of the christians ive come across in my life.
