Synopsis: After a long night of losing drinking games and having fun with his friends. Kamden just wants to go home to Y/N and their warm cozy bed. Getting him there has its challenges for everyone involved.

Kamden was out with his friends on a random night. He wasn’t planning the on getting drunk but hey the night was young and to his demise one of his pals gets the brilliant idea to start playing a drinking game, the one where the group assigns each person a word that said person doesn’t know what their word is and when you say it you have to take a shot along with every time after that as well and last one to say their word wins and the game is over and your people can stop downing shots. So they assign words and they give Kamden "ah!" something he used a lot to let people know he understood what they were saying along with just a filler word, they picked it knowing that he would be doomed. He is the first to fail, no one is shocked. So he does his shot and realizes that he is not going to be as sober as he thought he’d be at the end of the night.

After having a night of fun and Jiho winning the game the guys try to get him home. It took them an hour just to get to the building of his shared apartment with Y/N. Which was like a new record since the walk was normally 15 minutes or less depending on the time of day.

They had struggled getting him this far due to him stopping in his tracks every time he saw something that made him think of his loving girlfriend "Oh me and Y/N love this place. she always looks at the cute stationary when we go!" or "Hey, that's the place me and Y/N get Korean BBQ all the time!" along with "oh oh look at the stars, they are so pretty. They remind me of Y/N cause of her eyes and her tattoos and about how she got me my necklace" he explained while he stopped walking and looked up at the night sky, his hand fiddling with the star charm hanging around his neck.

So now that he was finally at the building, along with his tired dongsaengs, they just had to get him up to the apartment. But when he saw where they were he started getting really happy and began talking about Y/N even more. Which would be fine if he would keep walking as he talked but at last his friends were not that lucky and they were starting to accept defeat. Kyrell did what one of them should have done in the first place.

Called Y/N. She was already wearing her comfy pajamas and in bed with a movie on when her phone started to buzz

"Is everything ok, Ky? You guys are out pretty late this time. Having fun?" She asked, tossing a piece of popcorn she had made to go along with her movie, into her mouth.

"No. Kam would've been home an hour ago if he wasn't drunk" Kyrell explained while rubbing his temples as he watched Brian and Jiho try to motivate Kamden to walk up a couple more steps.

"Drunk! Like drunk drunk? What happened? Kam said he was just going to get tipsy and that he would be fine." Y/N was already setting her bowl aside and getting up to put on her slippers knowing she wasn't going to bed anytime soon

"Well you're right but, Brian had the 'amazing' idea to play a drinking game and here we are. So could you please come help us get him up the stairs?" He begged because he was tired and despite knowing his own girlfriend, the sweetheart she is, would stay up until she knew he was home, safely in bed and giving her cuddles.

“Huh? You guys are in the stairway? Why can't you get him up here? Is he okay? Is he hurt? What did you do to him, Kyrell?!" she headed out the door and started making her way to the stairwell

"No Y/N, he's fine. Ky isn’t at fault this time. Kam's steady on his feet right now, he just won't shut up for two seconds to start walking" it was Jiho talking this time. Seeing Jiho address Y/N on the phone made Kam notice who Ky was on the phone with

"Y/N? Is that you?" he said trying and successfully taking the phone from Ky

"Did you see the stars tonight? They are soooo wonderful!" He went on as he leaned forward against Brian

"I told the guys how they made me think of you, cause stars are our thing, ya know. And then I showed them that shop we like and the place where we get K-BBQ and the place where you get those second hand clothes and" Y/N had a shit eating grin on her face as Kamden continued giving a play by play of their adventure back home. He was a sap and a yapper normally but he got 10x more sappy and yappy when he was drunk and it was adorable.

She entered the stairwell and looked over the edge. They were only two flights down from her, so not as bad as she thought. Y/N could hear them from here and see Kam hanging on Bri as he kept yapping to her on the phone. She continued to listen as she walked down the steps. Finding it very endearing how he could just go on and on about things that most people wouldn’t think to be interesting.

The guys saw her coming down the steps so they gave up on trying to get him to move again and just waited for rescue. She finally gets to where they are standing between floors and smiles, giving the guys a wave. Kam’s back was to her as he remembered how he got this intoxicated

"Oh, Y/N, the guys were so mean. They made me lose the game and then I had to keep taking shots cause they were too good at the game. They are just a bunch of meanie heads. I wish you were here to make it better." he pouts, still thinking she is just on the phone with him. She had hung up the phone already once she got to the resting spot where they were at in the stairs but he was too busy chatting to hear the call end. Y/N held in a chuckle trying to keep quiet as she steps closer to Kam and wraps her arms around his waist to his front giving him a back hug

"Ohhh were they not playing fair? That's not nice of them now is it. I’m here now so no need to worry." Kam jumped a little and turned around to see Y/N. His eyes went huge like big goldfish orbs. The guys laughed seeing how much Kam adored her

"Y/N!!! you're here! Oh I missed you" he picked Y/N up because of how excited he was

"Wow there big guy. I missed you too" He sets her down but his arms stay around her as he pushes his face down into her neck giving her a big hug. Y/N pats his head with a gentle smile on her lips

"Ok boys I think I got him from here. Go home, text me when you’re there, and get some sleep, alright? Thanks for bringing him home in one piece" They say their goodbyes along with good nights and head home. Y/N gets Kam into the apartment eventually. And once his shoes are off he shuffles to their bedroom without another word.

As Y/N shakes her head at his antics she walks into the kitchen to get him a glass of water and some meds for in the morning. She has a feeling his head most likely will be pounding when he wakes up tomorrow. Kam had managed to take his socks off along with unbuttoning his jeans but was struggling to get his shirt over his head. He huffs and gruffs not knowing Y/N has entered the bedroom yet. She goes to set the provisions on his night stand and quietly chuckles.

He keeps trying to get it off but with a final huff he just warily sits down on the edge of the bed with the shirt over his head and his arms trapped within it and waits. Y/N usually knows what he’s thinking but right now she was at a loss. So, she walks up to him, careful not to spook him

"Aye love, why are you just sitting there?" He flinches at her voice not knowing she was in the room, then moves his head to face where he thinks she is in front of him, his arms following his head movement

"I’m stuck." he explains in a defeated tone.

"Yeah? I see that but why are you just sitting there if you're having trouble with your shirt?" He's so adorable it makes Y/N’s chest hurt.

"I’m waiting for you" he says sweetly as he wiggling his fingers that are sticking out the shirt cutely as if wanting help and attention

"Oh you poor thing let me help you" she teases softly and pulls the shirt fully off his arms and head, moving to toss it into the bin. She turns back to see that he has stood up to slide his jeans off and now is left in his boxers. He breathes out a huff of relief now feeling comfy that he doesn't have his outside clothes on anymore. Then without a second thought flops right into the middle of the bed with a 'oof' and he starts wiggling around to get comfy and warm under the covers. Once he is satisfied he looks back at Y/N who is still standing there taking in everything that just happened.

"Get in. I wanna cuddle" he reaches his arms out to her wanting her in their bed too

"You're a dork, you know that?" That's all she can say. Because he is a dork, an adorable, sweet, cutie pie, pookie, fluffball of a dork and most importantly he is her dork. He pouts and keeps his hands out to reach for her

"Come on, babe. I'm tired of being the oldest in a group of guys that know my weak points too well and now I just wanna be spoiled and get cuddles" she laughs and moves to get in bed with him

"oh aren't you just a big old baby, huh?" He smiles big and ignores her teasing as she finally scoots in the bed next to him. He wraps his arms around her and nuzzles into her chest finally being able to go to sleep now that he has his Y/N. She looks down at him and is filled with warmth and happiness to her core that the person in her arms is him.

She plays with Kam’s hair as they start to calm down. His breaths start to even out showing that he is now asleep. She knows that in the morning he'll be all shy, feeling bad but Y/N won't mind. She loves when he's like this, all mushy and carefree she doesn't mind taking care of him and she knows he would do the same for her if she ever wanted to get drunk. She thinks about this as she slowly drifts off to sleep in Kamdens warm arms.
