My Partner @peachyclown and I are working on a Troll lineup roughly inspired by Greek Mythological creatures and gods! My first one is Typhoeus, I really enjoyed reading up on his story

Magnus as an Egyptian sphinx and Leman as a Nordic troll. He doesn't have wings yet because he isn't a Tzeentchian demon Primarch yet
Fun fact: Winged sphinxes are female in Greek mythology while male sphinxes have only been recorded to be male in Egyptian culture.

the thing about stock fantasy monsters and people and things is that even the most stock ones have some WILD stuff happening before they were standardized.
a unicorns horn was said to be so strong unicorns escaped hunters by jumping off cliffs and landing on the horn, which absorbs the impact. drinking dragon blood lets you understand birds. and don’t even get me STARTED on trolls, fantasy genre did them a massive disservice by turning them into just “big ugly dumb guy”.

"Loki's family, side profiles"
I couldn't stop thinking about the quote: the first born daughter is always the female version of her father. Which immediately made me think about Angrboda and Loki's daughters! (At least my versions, sorry Moder maybe next time? Also I realized the twins could've been more interesting if I drew their grown versions)
Anyhow, Hel looking like Loki and Trollkvinna looking like Angrboda! Then I decided I should draw everyone else in the family and their unique features. Because side profiles are so fun to draw when I don't struggle, I hope they're not too weird looking! Don't mind the titles I gave them btw ✨
