Hey Rav, i'm curious! how do you get the faint blur in you're art? it makes it look so stylized and i love it! how do you do it though? :o

by blur do you mean like the slight 3D effect? for that i use chromatic aberration in medibang! :ooo

The Endless Cycle of Vtuber Hell

Ima just vent for a second because not only did it take three months to finish a turnaround of my vtuber, but I had to then redraw it to fit into the correct pixel and just as I'm setting up to start attempting to animate it i realized i could just use masked layers for everything and have to go back and do it...AGAIN. Which is fine given everything is already like there i just need to redraw and recolor it lol but still.

It doesn't help that my debut is coming up [Within about a month or two now] and I still have so much to do but i'm trying not to be too upset over it. I mean I only have 60 followers on twitch.. But they deserve a decent update to my vtuber, the lore, and i just want it to be a clear upgrade and im sad. Anyway Ima get to work on that now and hopefully it will be okay.

In any case if I get desperate I will just draw the sprites and call it a day and slowly but surely upgrade them through era one.

Another thing is I really don't know how to advertise my twitch or my vtuber tbh. Not without giving away things I want on the debut essentially.. I mean I kind of hinted at it but I left it vague but don't know how to further advertise myself.

But hey ima just focus on making something decent hopefully over just getting eyes on me for the debut.. but some idea would be nice if you come across this.

Experimenting. . .

I'm going to try no commentary and see how I like it let's start bare bones as possible and upgrade from there perhaps? Guess that kinda defeats the purpose of being a vtuber but eh. I'd rather experiment and explore things in this era. Not just for assumed success or fame but just genuine enjoyment of playing a game. Or maybe only doing it for games that don't require my input much. Mainly The Isle.

OH MY GOD. GUYS.

So like I realized I needed to finally upgrade my vtuber software called veadotube and got the newest version and im losing my mind in the best way.

Because if I'm right about this, I can probably draw a full body of my vtuber, move it to really showcase it, and--

Sorry for not streaming I just didn't feel like it and I still needed some time to get some things off my plate as it were. Just doing some self-care like plenty of others are doing. I MIGHT stream this evening but we'll see. I was stuck between playing cookie clicker, cult of the lamb, or minecraft and was going to go with minecraft to do something productive basically to distract from... all that. lol.

I just tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. It isn't easy learning to live in an abandoned greenhouse away from home! [wink wink lol]
