Please don't feel pressured into posting updates on your Sims thanks to that rude person hiding behind anonymity. I understand how hard it is to put ourselves into writing updates when one isn't in the right mood. That anon needs to learn that sometimes people cannot post due to stuff happening in our lives or personal reasons. Hope you have a good night and don't let an anon take you down to their lowly level.

Thank you so much for understanding, and for your kind words. It really has been difficult the past few months trying to write when absolutely nothing flowed/sounded right. I feel really bad that I can’t update like I used to, but I really want to be happy with the chapters and give them the attention they deserve before I post anything. 1. I am a very good kitty caretaker and my four cats have pleasant lives and are happy and healthy.

2. I try my best to live by my morals. Which are not necessarily conventional morals, lol.

3. I can admit when I'm wrong. I'm working on my tendency to constantly assume that I am wrong and a bad person, but I want to keep the being able to admit that I'm wrong part. Just I'm toning it down to recognizing mistakes and failures and shortcomings but being kind and forgiving to myself while still learning from them, as opposed to my old habit of giving myself a brutal beating for not being perfect and drowning in shame and self-hate and anxiety.

4. I don't judge people until I have a reason to. Which again, there - I am learning that I do have to judge sometimes, that not every single human being is as awesome as I think they are, and that sometimes I need to stop forgiving people and stop giving them chances to hurt me. I am trying hard to keep my open-mindedness and lack of judging, but I'm learning to balance it and be more realistic and not as noobishly idealistic.

5. I believe that I have an infinite capacity for love.

Having fun skating.. hurting myself but I have to learn somehow... I really hope I find a man that can pick me up and hold me as I learn to skate more.. ♥️ I feel loved now but I want someone I can call mine.. I write stories about it all the time. But, you cant bring that to real life.. Are you using a new lighting mod or editing method? I really like how bright and colorful your screenshots are looking lately.

I meant to update my resources! Yes, I'm using a new lighting mod. I'm using brntwaffles' Blue Skies and Sunshine lighting mod. I'm using the version with Isla Paradiso water, 50% chance of aurora and lunar lake size sun/moon. I'm still using the same editing action as before.

Publishing in case anyone else was curious!

I get that problem if I use Create a Style in build mode. When I use CAS in buy mode however the patterns load up fine and have no issues. Have no idea why this happens though.

Yeah it happened in both Create a Household and in Buy Mode.

If you use mods I would wait on patching until everything has been updated.

Yeah. I do. I forgot I have to manual patch anyway so I'm gonna have to wait as it is.

I'm not super Photoshop savy but try selecting the brush before going into quick mask so you get the red highlighter instead of the cross cursor.

Thank you again. I tried it the way you suggested and it still didn't work. I looked it up and I got a good basis, but ain't nobody got time for that lasso tool. Thank you so much though for taking the time!

On PS, hit Q to get quick mask. Highlight the Sim you want to focus on. Exit out of quick mask mode by hitting Q again and add a blur filter to the image.

Thank you for the quick response! I'm still having trouble though. I press Q and there's the cross out symbol. I click the Sim anyways and it says that I can't use the history brush because it lacks the correct channels.
