I found this cool #commemorativestamp honoring the #150thbirthday of #ukrainiancomposer #mykolalysenko the founder of #ukrainianclassicalmusic #lysenko composed music for piano, voice, and chamber music, but is perhaps best known as an #operacomposer His most famous work is the #opera #tarasbulba the opening melody of which is printed on this #postagestamp This opera, which is about a #ukrainiancossack rebellion in the 17th century was beloved by none other than #petertchaikovsky who knew and admired Lysenko. Submission Day!

Today is the day. I don’t think I have ever been as nervous as I was this morning  when I handed in my final major project. I got up at 7:30 leaving plenty of time because I am the sort of individual that gets nervous and uptight often close to hand in. I wanted to allow myself time to check over my three hundred words before handing in my final submission, the formal hand in was official and very thorough, it remained me of being at school about to undertake a formal written assignment. 

I feel a sense of relief this afternoon as now I have one less worry, I have worked exceedingly hard on the outcome of my book, this is something that makes me feel content and at ease today as I know I have tried my hardest and worked with some incredibly talented creatives on this project so I can only hope my hard work pays off. Furthermore now I feel abit at ease as I just have my evaluation left to write and look at for 2 days. I know this is achievable as I am nearly finished. I do sometimes find evaluations hard because I find it hard to reflect and establish successes and failures and underpin my strengths. I think the evaluation needs to be critical in order to reflect upon myperformance. I think using reflective theorists is beneficial to analysing my final project and the journey I have been on.

Here is a photo of my Performance Art piece I performed in Manchester City on Market Street, this is the only photo I have so far but I'm sure In the coming weeks I'll receive a video and more photos hopefully, this photo was sent to be by Adam Blaize who is a storyteller, fiction writer, film director. He was there the day I performed and so kindly sent me this photo on Twitter, The piece I performed was titled "I see hope in the air" and was a durational Performance piece which lasted 2 and half hours. The piece reflects poor mental health such as depression and the waves it comes in and how you must fight against it to see hope. The Performance went really well on the day only it didn't last the 4 hours I had planned, but still delighted with how it went, This photo was taken a little over half an hour in to the Performance and Adam stayed around until the end and we chatted about the work it's great to get good feedback about the Performance. I was extremely nervous performing the piece but so glad I did, I learned so much about myself and about the kindness of the people of Manchester.
