favorite thing about them: just how genuinely NICE archie is like in s2 abel and new canton are still working out their strained relationship and archie is just like runner five?? new friend!! jamie? new friend!!!! like she’s like I see your township rivalry and raise you a ‘I will befriend every human I see regardless of what township they come from’ and like she like goes out of her way just to rescue a chicken wow I love her with my whole entire heart!!! also I love how she’s a genius bc I feel like it’s unfortunately rare to have a female character like archie that’s kind and bubby and super smart 

least favorite thing about them: no least favorite thing except I wish we had had more time with her :(((((

favorite line: she has so many good lines but this one from the s1 races makes me crack up every single time

brOTP:****s3 spoilers**** I feel like archie and five was a brotp that crept up on me like I feel like they didn’t have significant interactions compared to some other characters but it really says A LOT that when five was hallucinating in s3 the people five saw were sara and archie like we know how much sara means to five but thinking about how wow archie must have meant a lot to five too 

OTP: archie/jamie of course :(((( my kids deserved a happy ending 

nOTP: archie/literally anyone else besides jamie alksdjsal ok not really there are definitely other cute archie pairings out there but I do really love archie/jamie

random headcanon: archie survived the gunshot wound but lost her memory and decided to move to the countryside and raise chickens which is why we don’t see her anymore but she’s happy and she’s out there this is canon now sorry I don’t make the rules

ok actual headcanon is that archie will bring back the most ridiculous things from runs and hand them off to people and they’ll be like why....did archie....just give me a rubber duck.....until like a couple weeks later they’ll realize they actually needed the very random item for a very specific purpose they didn’t realize and it’s because archie being the genius she is is always five steps ahead of the game but also enjoys confusing people by bringing them back strange trinkets from runs 

unpopular opinion: not an opinion but confession I actually for the first few missions with archie thought she was a bad guy oops my ‘this character is actually evil’ radar is way off

OKAYOKAYOKAY

After HOURS of rendering, I finally present you the animatic suggested by @mylifeisaseries​ and let me tell you it made me want to kill myself several times during the process, but fuck I’ve done it and I couldn’t be more proud. It was a fun lil experiment on what and how I can do (the fucking layers, man, the LAYERS) it was less drawing and more timing, but I think the end result is pretty cool.

Took me about two days to put together, there are some parts that could be more worked out but I just couldn’t bother by the end.

Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

Typically the couch in my living room as I try to block out the noise of my family watching The Bachelor. 

Bookmark or random piece of paper?

I’m that horrible person who dogears the pages. Sorry not sorry.

Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?

If I don’t stop at a chapter mark, I’ll completely forget everything I had read before. Magic.

Do you eat or drink while reading?

I typically read at night, so sometimes popcorn.

Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?

I block it all out, so maybe?

Reading at home or everywhere?

Home, walking into work, sitting at a party, hiding at family events... You name it.

Reading out loud or silently in your head?

I’ve started a book club with my friends on video chat, so we read aloud together, but in any other situation, I only read in my head.

Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

How can I tell if the book is going to hold my interest? Keeps me from wasting my time on horrible modern adaptions of Jane Eyre. 

Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

96% of my books are second hand, so that is kind of out of my power. I only break the spine myself if the book is impossible to keep open. Which tends to be most of the time...

Do you write in your books?

I have only ever written in Jane Eyre. I have a display copy, a “favorite quotes” underlined copy, a frequent read copy, and other various additions for my collection. Eventually, I’ll have a “notes in the margin” copy.

Aujourd'hui aux infos, ils ont dit que des chercheurs de l'université d'Aberdeen (coucou @mylifeisaserie ils ont même montré une photo que tu as posté et j'ai reconnu les bâtiments magnifiques! !) ont découvert qu'on pouvait avoir réellement le 💜 brisé suite à un chagrin d'amour (entre autre) et que cela pouvait aller de cicatrices sur le 💜 jusqu'à l'infarctus.
