"I hate you, Sully." You hissed before you left him and walked back to where the clan was celebrating, "Will you give me another kiss for that?" He said, laughing as you settled in so as not to let anyone know what had happened, ignoring him during the solitary walk that divided you more and more. In addition to Neteyam, that small event had also seen Uleyte from afar, remaining slightly baffled by your change on that occasion…
While you were walking you could still feel Neteyam’s hands gripping you, as his warm breath pinched your skin, wet kisses that gave you chills, and the way frustration appeared between your legs. Your breaths were heavy as you missed Neteyam’s body against yours, and you couldn’t help wondering what the fuck was your problem.
You fixed your hair to cover the little bite marks left by the boy on the sides of your neck. A shiver ran down your spine as a delicate hand landed on your back, only to find it was Tul'pey once you turned around. You tried to smile naturally, like the guilt of what you just did wasn’t eating your vocal cords now that you were looking into his eyes.
"Ma yawne, I was looking for you. Where have you been?" His sweet voice was like a stab in the stomach, not finding an adequate answer to give to your future mate. His eyes went down your body, noticing smudges of paint on your hips and abdomen, and then noticing some equally smudged red lines on your neck, which were slightly covered by some strands of hair. His gaze took a little, then opened his mouth again. "…And why is the paint on your body in this…way?"
You couldn’t help swallowing, feeling a lump in your throat as Tul'pey’s grip on your back hardened, making you shudder. Your eyes sought comfort away from those of Tul'pey who burned your skin. "Umh… I-I" you managed to say while you were searching for other words to form a sentence of full meaning.
"Y/N. Where you’ve been for half an hour. And why did you come back like this?" His harsh words scratched your skin, and in that moment you wished you had been attacked by a hungry Palulukan. Tul'pey was a great hunter, for this reason no detail went unnoticed, so you wondered why you had even thought that fixing your hair and clothes would be enough to go unnoticed, especially in his eyes. You felt like a complete idiot for not remembering the paint, you were so busy panting over another guy’s touches that your brain got drunk.
Your pupils dilated and then thought that if you were reduced to that state, then most likely Neteyam was too. You silently prayed to Eywa that Neteyam would not come out of the forest now, or you would die. Tul'pey began to spatter over your behavior, grabbed your face from your jaw, wrapped his hand and squeezed impatiently. "I swear-" started to say and then stopped when he saw hands wrapped around your waist from behind.
The hands were warm, the grip soft and delicate as if they didn’t want to hurt you. A warm body pressed against your back, pulling Tul'pey’s hand apart; the warm breath of the na'vi behind you tickled your throat and then let you breathe again as if the lump in your throat were suddenly loose.
"Oh, it’s my fault." said the gentle voice of your best friend who was holding you. "Lately I have been terribly affectionate, and I didn’t realize I had spoiled the vernce of y/n" the girl laughed slightly and then showed Tul'pey her arms with smudged paint, and then detached from you and show the other smudges of paint on her body. " See?"
Tul'pey’s hand left its grip on your jaw and chuckled, "I should have imagined it" the boy cleared his voice and then took a few steps back. "Y/n, however your parents were looking for you, we were worried about you… I… well, I’m going for.. you know." his voice was broken, obviously embarrassed by the way he was placed. After all, he was always very jealous and protective, but this was the first time you saw him a little more 'aggressive' with you.
When the boy left, you turned to Uleyte and embraced her instinctively. " I… can expl-" Uleyte laughed and shook his head slightly. " You can’t explain better than what I saw" your face began to burn because of the redness, you looked into her eyes mortified.
"Don’t look at me like that… I just wasted good paint and good tribal designs just to save your pretty face," she continued to reassure you. " It’s not what you think. It happened unintentionally. I-I swear!" You started making excuses, and then you got stuck with the girl who just had a smile on her face.
"So your 'oh, Neteyam' were unintentionally? because I think I heard something that sounded like that." She teased you, right before you started slapping her arm with embarrassment. " ULEYTE!" you sighed before leaving the girl’s body.
"I know I’m going to ask you a huge favor, but I need you to go paint Neteyam’s body. If they found out, the hugging excuse wouldn’t hold" You said, taking her hands and hoping she’d agree. "I stopped him right before he left the forest. I had already thought about doing it, but you two little parultysìp! you have to think about things like that, if I hadn’t been there it would have ended very badly" she replied sweetly, before taking one of the white bowls and heading towards the place where Neteyam had stopped. You whispered a "thank you" to her that she smiled back before disappearing into the trees.
Neteyam froze on the spot when he saw Uleyte arrive with a bowl in his hand, sure it was full of poison to make him swallow. Surprisingly not so, the girl made Neteyam sit on the ground, before starting to rebuild the lines that were smudged.
"She has a mate." she whispered chillingly after a few minutes of awkward silence, where Neteyam didn’t know how to speak. "A companion who was sent to her by Eywa." She continued without ever looking away from the paint to make the drawings.
"I know…" Neteyam replied in one breath, feeling tense.
" If you’re going to play with her, I swear, I-" Uleyte stopped when he saw Neteyam’s eyes, and then watched as he was already answering. " I’m not playing." His sincere look and convincing tone made the girl nod, who went on quietly. "You know what she risks. It will be the next Olo'eykte, and if it’s because of you her name gets muddy, you’ll destroy everything she’s worked for over the years." She replied, that she finished drawing on Neteyam’s body. "She does not have the privilege of being a lefnelan, the na'vi would break her spirit and she will have no honor. Be wise, future Olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya." She rose from the ground, drawing two lines in the center of the forehead, symbol of wisdom. "Y/n is a sister to me. I will not speak of what I have seen, I only hope that Eywa will protect you two, whatever your decision, Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan." When Uleyte finished talking, she disappeared into the trees, returning to the village.
Neteyam spent a few minutes observing the trees, thinking about what the girl had just told him. In that month that he had been so in contact with you, he could not help but appreciate every little part of you: the way you covered your smile when he said something funny; how you rolled your eyes at his jokes out of place; The way your eyes lit up when you talked about the sea and the wind in your culture; Your hair smelling of Yovo Fruit; Your bioluminescent freckles reminiscent of the stars you saw in the night; your decided character. He couldn’t see anything in you but perfection, so he couldn’t help but be jealous of how Tul'pey touched you, caressed you or kissed you. He was burning with jealousy, because he knew damn well he wanted to be the one to make you smile after a kiss, he wanted to be your partner, hold you every night to his chest and worship you as if you were the sun and moon of his world.
When he recovered, he returned to the village, immediately greeted by Tul'pey who invited him to sit among his friends during the banquet. When he saw you coming, his eyes followed your every move, enchanted by the way you radiated your own light only with your presence. He noticed how the smudges in your paint had been retouched like his, and couldn’t stop thinking about how soft your skin was and how his hands fit perfectly into your soft hips.
As Ikeyni began the opening speech to bless the food and the day in the name of Eywa, Neteyam had to mentally apologize to the Great Mother, because in his mind your whimpers echoed against the tree and as you called his name so sweetly.
You noticed Neteyam’s gaze upon you, but you avoided reciprocating, pointing your eyes at your mother who started talking once everyone sat down. Once the Olo'eykte speech was over, everyone began to eat and talk to each other, while the fire you had lit for Eywa created a crackling melody that accompanied the discussions.
Out of the corner of your eye you could see Mi'feya, the dancer of your clan, approaching Neteyam to talk to him. Her body language was so clear, the way she touched her hair, her tail moving slightly behind her, her fingers touching Neteyam’s skin, and then the smiles he smiled back at her. At that moment your heart was as if it was beating more slowly, you felt burning at the height of the larynx, tense muscles and a heaviness that was not in your belly before. Your jaw stiffened to the point of clenching it until you felt pain, while the nikt'chey in your hand turned to mush. It annoyed you to see Mi'feya so close to Neteyam, and her behavior made you nervous as never before, but the thing that caused you the most discomfort and pain was how Neteyam smiled at her and spoke to her with such kindness.
A feeling of jealousy was born in you, as you restrained yourself from looking at them or from dragging Neteyam as far away as possible and kissing him again, until you consumed his lips, until he understood that that smile should only be addressed to you and to you alone. You wanted to damn yourself for this, you didn’t have to be jealous of someone who isn’t yours, especially if that 'someone' is one of the Sullys.
Uleyte immediately noticed your change of mood, and put a hand on your leg, as if it could bring you back to the neutral state. " ma y/n… You’re making it too obvious," she whispered, looking at you, only to make you sigh heavily. "What?" You said while you were cleaning your dirty hand because of the crushed nikt'chey. "You know what," she replied.
Your eyes rolled, pointing at the sky for a few seconds. "It’s nothing." You hissed and then resumed your meal. During the duration of the banquet, your eyes could not stop looking from time to time at the two guys who were sitting on the other side of the circle, and when you looked away, it was Neteyam looking at you, a few seconds that made him sip at the words of the girl at his side. He knew almost immediately of your strange behavior, but did not immediately understand that that was jealousy very little hidden.
Your mother looked at the scene with suspicion, she immediately felt your nervousness, having you practically next to her, but she preferred not to ask questions and observe in silence but with suspicion.
When the banquet ended, dances began marking the time of the end of the sacred day, music accompanied Uleyte’s melodious voice, while some thuds caused by dance steps created additional accompaniment. It was all so harmonious, children dancing or accompanying your friend’s voice, couples joining the dance, and na'vi just having fun. It was a bitter bite to see Mi'feya leading Neteyam to dance with her, dances that were usually for couples or courtship.
You sat next to Uleyte as you watched the horrid scene as your foot and tail trembled in anxiety and exasperation. You had never felt these feelings for Tul'pey, and you were used to seeing him surrounded by young na'vi who touched him or tried to flirt slightly.
A hand beat your shoulder gently, and Tul'pey invited you to dance with him, under Uleyte’s wise gaze, you stood up and danced with your partner, trying to clear your mind.
After a few hours of dancing, the clan’s youngest na'vi withdrew with their parents to their respective huts, leaving in the village only young adults who from there shortly would be given to a little alcohol derived from the fermentation of some fruits or fish and to youthful fun. You stopped dancing, sitting next to your friend, obviously still tense.
"I’m going to clear my mind." You said before you walked away from the heart of the village, and walked where the huts were, thinking if going home was the wisest idea, instead of torturing you in seeing Neteyam and Mi'feya laughing and dancing together. You came unconsciously near the empty house of Neteyam, sighing heavily and annoyed that everything was bringing you back to him. Shortly after you passed the hut, a warm hand wrapped your wrist and dragged you to a hut. Instinctively you carried a hand where there was a small dagger that all the na'vi carried with them even in the days of celebration, one of the hands of the stranger stopped your wrist when it seemed that you were about to attack.
"No need for this" Neteyam’s clear voice echoed through the thin walls of leaves and straw. "Why did you take me like this?! I could have really hurt you. Weren’t you down in the village dancing?" you asked again annoyed, while the boy left you both wrists. "I saw you leave upset and I followed you" he replied gently. "What’s going on?"
You sighed deeply before answering. " Nothing." The dry tone was so obvious that Neteyam could read your face despite the dim light inside the hut.
"It can’t be 'nothing', you have a strange behavior after… well, you know what happened" you looked him in the eye and the small rays of the late sunset painted purple tints on his face. "Neteyam, I don’t want to talk about it, why don’t you go back to Mi'feya? You seemed so happy." Neteyam’s gaze went from sweet to amused when he realized that maybe it was jealousy behind your ambiguous behavior. "Should I? Maybe so, but it wasn’t that interesting" his tone was slightly mischievous. "It didn’t seem. With all those smiles and laughs, it seemed like you were having a good time with her." You drifted slightly away from him, only to be caught again by the wrist.
"You’re jealous, ma Tanhì?" you turned your face to where he was and tightened your jaw.
"No. I have no reason to be jealous, especially of you." You said you tried to be as convincing as possible.
"but I’m jealous of you." He admitted with a naturalness that left you breathless for a second. "And I know that you are of me," he continued as he shortened his distance with you. "Stop your jokes, you’re not funny." Your tone was as if out of breath, which the boy noticed.
"I’m not kidding. I’m jealous, terribly jealous of you and the fact that you’re not mine." His fingers intertwined with some strands of your hair, drawing closer to him. " And I can’t stop being, not after I get a taste of you…" His words were blown on your lips, swallowed as you filled your lungs with his scent and breath. "It’s not the same for me…" those words were more to convince yourself than him.
"Then why did another woman bother you so much?" His eyes wouldn’t come off your face, even studying the smallest micro expression. "Neteyam, that’s enough." your voice was breathless, almost exhausted as you restrained yourself from making yet another mistake. "Then tell me sincerely that it did not bother you and to go back to Mi'feya" his nose touched yours, while the hand between your hair held you close to him.
You opened your mouth to talk, but yet another lump in your throat was created. "I… don’t want to." You whispered slightly as you longed to kiss him again. Neteyam approached your lips but you stopped him by leaning your fingers on his mouth. " We can’t… I-I have a companion" Your tone made your voice broken as you spoke. "Let me just feel you one last time…" he whispered in a gasp. "Allow me to make you feel what he will never offer you, ma Tanhì" His sincere look made you understand his desire for you, the fingers of the hand holding your wrist touched your side, making you whisper his name with exasperation. "Tell me you don’t want it as much as I do, it’s the only way to stop this torture."
"I don’t want it…" you swallowed the knot in your throat, trying to stick to the last strand of sanity in your body. Neteyam leaned his forehead on yours and took a long breath closing his eyes before moving away from you, his gaze hesitated a few seconds before turning to leave.
You bit your lip when you saw it drifting away, but the last thread left inside you had been cut by Neteyam himself. You instinctively approached him, but surprisingly it was he who stole the kiss you were about to take. Your tongues danced together from the start, as the boy’s hands wrapped around your thighs before lifting you up and tying your legs around his waist. The room filled with moaning and wheezing accompanied by snaps of lips that clashed with desire; your hands wandered over his chest, before wrapping around his neck to feel him closer. Your back against the soft fabric of one of the sides of the hut, the breath that was beginning to fail both of you as you devoured your lips as if hungry.
Neteyam slid down gently, not letting you out of his arms, carrying you on his legs. Now his hands touched every inch of your body, memorizing and worshipping it in silence, his fingers squeezed your flesh while you panted on his lips.
When you came off, you carried your mouth over his neck, leaving bites and purple marks as he groaned raucously with his eyes closed, throwing his head back. Your fingers were eagerly wrapped in his hair and neck. You wanted to feel it as your own, so that everyone could see that they didn’t have a chance because he already had someone; the sense of possession was devouring you as you marked his body with your signature. Neteyam did not dare to pull you away from him, moving some strands of hair behind your ear, so as not to disturb your work.
The boy’s hands wrapped around your neck and side, caressing them as if to spur you to keep leaving marks on his body. When you broke away, Neteyam approached you, for the umpteenth time, kissing you with more passion, your hand now descended on his loincloth, pinching the top while the knuckles teased his lower abdomen. Neteyam gave you a silent consent, bringing you closer to him. Even the boy’s hands hesitated after taking off the net shawl, his fingers ripped off the part that covered your breast, while your free hand went to get his, to carry it on your breast. A small groan came out of your lips as he squeezed his grip gently, playing with your already hard and needy nipples; he detached himself from your lips to go and give attention to your breasts, teasing them with bites, licking and small juices that only made you wet. His tail wrapped around yours and then tickled the back of your pelvis, your back arched forward as you panted his name with despair, only making him more eager than you.
Your hand rested on his covered erection and a shiver ran through your body, beginning to draw its silhouette on the fabric that covered it, making him groan and moan around your breasts, while you were eager to feel what it would be like inside you. Your minds were clouded and drunk with your natural scents mixed with pheromones.
"You’re so beautiful" he whispered, voicing his thoughts unintentionally.
Neteyam’s hands went down to remove the lower part of your clothing, leaving you naked on top of him, and he detached himself from your breast, leaving a thread of saliva that still wanted his mouth at that point. He took a deep breath admiring your body with adoration, as if he were worshipping you in silence, and then following the curves of your body, feeling hungry. You wore the loincloth and looked down, swallowing to see the length of the na'vi below you.
Neteyam took your face from your chin and lowered it to its height, then tapped his thumb on your lips. "Open your mouth, ma yawnetu" you did what you said and the boy spat in your mouth, swallowed the fruity taste of the boy and then felt the lips of the boy again on yours, leaving as much saliva in your mouth, detaching immediately after. This time you poured the mixture that had been created in your mouth on your hand, using it to go and use it as a lube on Neteyam’s sore erection.
A long, hoarse groan came out of his lips as he felt your soft hand wrapped around his intimacy, his head bent backwards as a suffocated "Tsahey" came out of his mouth. His body unbalanced backwards, while his hands supported him and thanks to this his muscles contracted, leaving you enchanted by the scene, imprinting it in your memory. Your eyes went down to his abdomen as your hand moved with agonizing slowness to make him complain under you, already knowing he would take his revenge later. Your free hand went to tear the bands that covered his torso, leaving you finally a complete vision on his abdominal muscles, admiring how they twitched when you touched sensitive points like the small lateral vein that pulsed with desire.
You lowered yourself on his abdomen, sliding a little further away from the boy’s body, starting to leave kisses on his lower abdomen, making him swear in a language that you did not know, but that you found strangely erotic said by him. You blew lukewarm air on his pulsating cock, receiving a grunt from Neteyam, exasperated to have a little more. He felt the air missing in the meatballs when he felt your warm mouth around his bundle of nerves, while you licked and sucked at alternate and not decisive rhythms. One of his hands ended again in your hair, guiding you on the course that most pleased him, and when you understood the rhythm you could feel that it was the perfect one because of the tail of the boy who was shaking and beating on the ground for excitement. You began to greedily suck his intimacy, feeling his vein beating against your tongue that tasted his taste. Neteyam’s eyes watched you as you warmed his cock with so much devotion and passion, getting more excited because of your gargling when you went too deep or the snap that made your lips full of saliva against his erection when you got to the deepest point of your throat.
You only peeled off when a sweetish liquid slowly poured into your mouth, you panted slightly as you swallowed his sperm keeping your eyes fixed in Neteyam’s, which made him even more excited. Those eyes that before looked severely and almost disgustingly now begged him to give her more, to push him to the limit. He took a deep breath after pouring into your tongue, whispering a frustrated "Fuck…!" in the language you didn’t understand.
You walked away from his dick after one last lick to definitely clean it from that sweet juice he gave you. His face was swollen, bite marks on his lip were noticeable. One of his hands wrapped around your neck, pushing you against his lips, kissing you with passion and passion, as he stretched you backwards, meeting your back with the floor, kneeling between your legs. Your back arched when you felt Neteyam’s fingers playing with your clitoris right away, rubbing and pinching it, making you moan in his mouth, while a mischievous smile was born on his face.
" What’s going on, Sa'nutsyìp? It’s too much for you?" he said maliciously once removed from your lips, to enjoy your raw moans. Your hands ended up on his back, slightly scratching the smooth surface of his skin, unable to speak when two fingers entered you, leaving his thumb to massage the small mountain of your intimacy. Your breath cut out right in Neteyam’s ear as you closed your eyes enjoying the moment they were giving you the boy’s long fingers that created imaginary circles on the most sensitive spot of you.
Little shivers ran through your body, whimpering for more, until he started pumping his fingers in and out of you, making you squeak and moan so much that you had to shut your mouth to listen to the cries. His free hand blocked your wrists over your head, preventing you from blocking your moaning. "Oh no, I want to hear them all." He said raucously in your ear. The chills covered your whole body, taking long breaths to try not to make you feel more than you should. Your head bent to the side, as small tears formed and stuck in your eyelashes; your chest rose and descended for the ecitation that was exploding within you; your lips swollen and red because of the canines that sank on your own skin.
The fingers of neteyam began a rhythm that went from extremely slow and heartbreaking to a violent one that made you feel so close to heaven, while his lips worked your breasts with small bites or juices that forced you to keep your back arched for too much pleasure. The few times you could keep your eyes open, you could see Neteyam’s shoulders and back glowing through the window. The muscles tense and tense, holding the grip that blocked your wrists did not intend to loosen despite your spasms of pleasure; while his tail could not stand still, meeting yours only to tease her with the small final hairs of her tail, causing you further chills. "m-more…" you whispered exhausted, while the na'vi above you approached your neck. "Ask it like a good prrnen, mh?" he whispered, making you shudder. "Please… more" now your mind clouded by desire and your tongue was loose to any desire of Neteyam.
You felt a sense of emptiness when Neteyam broke away from you, letting your wrists go, his wet fingers came out of your vagina and tasted the taste of your excitement. A deep breath came out of your lips as you saw that scene, closing your legs as much as possible to create friction and relieve the pleasant pain. The boy laughed loudly and then opened your legs, his long fingers clasping your thighs.
"I am not finished." He hissed before leaning over your body and starting to leave wet kisses on your lower abdomen, coming down with a heartbreaking slowness on your groin, leaving some hickeys. You panted slightly, leaning on your elbows to see as much as possible of Neteyam’s actions, your lips again tortured by your own teeth as you lost your breath because of Neteyam’s lips.
"Oh, ma Eywa…" was the only thing you could say with the last thread of voice that was leaving your body after Neteyam breathed warm air on your red intimacy and swollen with desire. Your arms almost gave out when the rag’s wet tongue collided against your clitoris, making you moan louder than you thought. You heard the sound of Neteyam’s mocking smile as your head bent backwards in exasperation. Your tongue still had its sweet taste and the fact that he was now working the same way between your legs only made you more excited.
Neteyam’s lips began to kiss your bundle of excitement, sucking it greedily just to hear you scream and pant shamefully, as if you had never had intercourse before him. His tongue made space between your wet folds and it was easy for him to slip inside you and start enjoying you with pleasure.
"Please… more" now your mind clouded by desire and your tongue was loose to any desire of Neteyam.
He bit his lip, growling against your skin because of your pounding pussy against his erection needing new attention. "o-only this time…" you whispered raptured by desire. "I won’t be the one to stop you, Tanhi." his hoarse voice promptly answered your request.
Neteyam laid his hands on your hips and gently dropped you on his cock, a small hoarse groan betrayed his throat when he felt you tighten the walls around his chapel. The breath left your body when you felt the Na'vi just inside you, while a deep whimper accompanied Neteyam’s groan. Your nails stuck in his shoulders when you took inside you the whole length, your chest pressed against that of the boy as you began to move over him, tightening around his dick.
The hut filled with shameless moans and breathlessness, while the continuous tensions that were created between you were finally released with every movement of the basin you did to feel more pleasure. Neteyam’s lips searched for yours, devouring your every groan or whimper, but you, instead, enjoyed his groans and hoarse anxieties, accompanied by words in an unknown language. You left a few bites on your lips, while his hands touched every inch of your body, holding it to himself without shame and with much possession, frustrated that you could not mark every inch of your body to claim it as his.
His hand ended up in your hair, forcing you to keep eye contact with him, pulling and stroking some strands that he held between his fingers with jealousy. He loved every part of you and that was sending him straight to heaven, he had dreamed so much of having you like this but the reality had exceeded his expectations by light years. The hand that once touched your body was now wrapped around your neck, feeling your irregular breathing and your restraining moans from time to time. "Don’t hold back, let me hear how you like it." He said, licking your lips and then tightening your grip around your neck so you don’t hold back. Your face was a disaster of frustration and full well-being, an erotic vision in the eyes of Omatikayan.
Your nails scratched his shoulders and back, especially when he felt he was hitting a fragile spot inside you, and when he figured out where your G-spot was, he had you lie down again, putting some sheets under your pelvis, without ever leaving you. You screamed with pleasure as she began to slam repeatedly against that fragile spot, you cried his name, groaning like a shameless and leaving other deeper scratches on his back.
After a few more pushes you both reached your second orgasm, coordinating it without even wanting to. Neteyam’s hand was woven into yours at this point, while with the other he bore his weight.
His orgasm was stored so easily in your memory, as he did with yours. Neteyam’s hot cum made room on your stomach, as he had managed to get out just in time from you. Your breaths mingled in the silence of the night, the sweaty, exhausted bodies lying next to each other and the air still filled with your orgasms.
"That doesn’t mean I’ll hate you less." you whispered to break the silence. He turned to his side, looking at you amused. "You literally yelled my name just a few minutes ago and you just came out like that?" You also turned to the side of his answer, looking him in the eye. "Yes." You replied plainly.
Neteyam’s hand wrapped around your neck again, pushing you against him, while the other caressed your soft hair.
"Ma Eywa, you’re even sexier when you’re so stubborn, I’d like to make you cry on my dick a little more" he answered inches from your lips. "Tsk, as if you could." he looked at you.
"Sa'nutsyìp, you don’t even know what you’re talking about, just stop" he said teasing you. "You must have never been touched by a lefnelan" he continued, making fun of you.
"You’re right, I should really be looking for one, but it’s hard to find a man among so many kids." Neteyam’s jaw twitched at your answer and then he brushed his lips with yours. "You’re too beautiful to even answer you in the way I want to." He blew the words on your lips, making you lose a few beats.
His eyes studying you with interest and fun, while her thumb caressed the side of your throat, not taking his hand off your neck.
"What? Short of answers." You smiled mockingly.
"No, but I would gladly take that smile off your face, again." You remained silent for such a natural and sincere response. The desire to kiss him again had increased and he noticed.
"You see, ma Tanhì? You don’t hate me the way you want to" he said on your ear and then stuck you under him again, holding your wrists to the sides of your head. "If not, you wouldn’t have allowed me to take your orgasm twice" he started kissing your neck again. "and you wouldn’t let me do this now."
You turned your head to the side in silence, while he smiled mockingly. "I told you, you would have asked for this." Your eyes returned to his, slightly annoyed.
"You’re annoying." You snorted.
"And you look beautiful when you get angry" he laughed back, then stole a kiss before lying down again.
He took you from your hips and led you to rest your head on his chest, and then covered you with a light blanket that was just below you. " You said 'only this time', then I want to have the full experience" You sighed deeply to his words and nodded closing your eyes, falling asleep with the lullaby of the beats of his heart.
Neteyam could not help but stay a few minutes to contemplate your body next to him, not in a sexual or erotic sense, but only with adoration.
He took the time to print the picture of you sleeping on his chest, and your face relaxed as he held you close to him, before following you into the dream world.

Well, since I found this beautiful fan art, i post it in this chapter because it reminded me of the scene where y/n paints Neteyam’s body.

I laughed as i flew over the waters on my tsurak, Tsireya's hands wrapped around my waist while she screamed in my ears when I dived in without her knowing, going pinpoint into the water, i hooked my hand under her thigh, fingers grazing her inner thigh, holding her close, speeding ahead, i commanded to go deeper into the sea, the sea life swirling around us, fishes and ilus staring at us, sometimes purposely disturbing a school of fishes myself, finally after a lot of exploring, she tapped my shoulder signaling me to go up, i nodded, slowly rising up to the surface, she settled her chin in the gap of my neck and shoulder, i turned my head about to give her a peck when my twin brother's voice called out loudly to my irritation "Heyyy, wait for us! You having a tsurak doesn't mean everyone does!" I rolled my eyes and grunted when they finally caught up to us, Ao'nung glared at me from behind Neteyam.
they were on Neteyam's ilu, it was supposed to be a double date but it was turning out more annoying than i expected "you know, maybe if you were fast enough we wouldn't have to wait for you, brother" Tsireya hit me on my forearm, i looked at her huffing and shrugged "what? I'm just telling th-" but before I could finish my sentence Neteyam splashed me with the help of his ilu, i gasped "you Skxwang, I'm going to kill you for real, this time" he took off, Ao'nung nearly fell into the water and i chased them, i backed up to them in an instance while Tsireya was giggling at our idiocy. Soon catching up to them we all got into splash fighting, whoever splashes someone the most wins but as the game went on and no one was ready to back down, getting tired and wanting to spend some alone time together me and Tsireya called our quits, bidding a short goodbye and promising to meet at our spot at eclipse we went on our ways.
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
We laid down on the soft grass, the spot we found in the more forest part of awa'atlu but still close to the sea, the perfect place for us to rest and spend time together, the breeze from the sea cooling the area, the sun providing the perfect amount of sunlight, there were rocks surrounding us, shielding us from onlookers and gave us enough shade, Tsireya sighed in my neck, eyes closed with a small smile playing on her lips, i shifted a strand of her hair behind her ear, the soft membrane shell of it flickering at my touch, I chuckled internally, we've been together now for almost three years now, Tonowari was more than shocked at the new while Ronal almost passed out, but they accepted us eventually, It was a shocker when neteyam and ao'nung told them the truth as well but they accepted us, why not one more? Now we all lived under the same mauri, all six of us together under one roof, like a loving family, atlast.
It's been 6 years since we came here, and almost 5 years since I had my tsurak, thanks to Ao'nung, tonowari took me and Neteyam under his wing, teaching me how to ride y/ts/n while training Neteyam for his iknimaya, even tho I did technically pass mine, i still chose to wait for my spiritual passing, that I'll go through with my twin and Ao'nung. during the period of these 5 years, the whole of metkayina thought I'd end up with Ao'nung while Neteyam with Tsireya but something total opposite happened, i fell for Tsireya first then Neteyam confirmed my suspicions about Ao'nung and him, soon, after 2 and half years of dropping hints and small advances, we confessed, more like we blurted out everything and the metkayina siblings just stared at us confused, but to everyone's surprise it was Ao'nung who made the first move, kissing Neteyam right in front of us, i didn't leave my chance either capturing Tsireya's lips right then and there.
Now we're here, laying on the soft patch of grass, my hand lazily roaming on her back and waist, the sunset spreading out shades of pinks and purples, these were the moments that made me glad we left that prison, the eclipse was nearing and we had to be present for the dinner this time because I don't want Ronal biting my ears off again, i shook Tsireya lightly, kissing all over her face while she smiled waking up finally "ohh c'mon, do we have to leave right now?" Her voice groggy from the slumber, i pulled her to sit up with me, she leaned her head on my shoulder, mumbling something i didn't catch, i rolled my eyes "wake up sleepyhead, i don't want sa'nu to be mad at me again for being late" picking her up enough to let her stand, she yawned, i called out to y/ts/n, He happily swam towards us, i took tsireya's hand guiding her to him, taking our seats she wrapped her arms around my waist, pressing her cheek to my back while i flew above the water so it doesn't disturb her, getting to the shore Neteyam and ao'nung already there, but to my distaste i caught them kissing, landing near them as their attention went to us, i just gave them a gagged reaction while ao'nung gave me the biggest eye roll he could muster on Pandora, reaching them, tsireya by my side ao'nung spoke "you act like you don't do this with my own sister" you grimaced at him "well atleast- you know what? Leave it, it's weird enough to see my twin kiss you" you shook your head letting out an exhale, neteyam having enough of this conversation pulled us all towards our kelku while me and ao'nung bicker about it, tsireya just ignored us both, she has listened to this tale well over a thousand times, so she knows not to get in between.
As we got to our mauri, me and ao'nung both fell silent in seconds when we saw Ronal, none of us wanting an ear full before dinner. Quickly washing up and freshening, we sat down in a circle together, tonowari sat directly opposite to Ronal, me on his right and ao'nung on his left, our mates on our side then Ronal, The roasted fish made by her almost melting on my tongue as I breathed out with mouth stuffed with it "This is so good, sa'nok" she just smiled at me, reaching over to pat my cheek "you say that every time, ite" we all laughed digging in, talking about our day, though most of mine and tsireya's was spent together, ao'nung, with no surprise, had too much to say, apparently he and neteyam went hunting for a date, and caught to much to handle, ended up giving most of the kill to the communal space, tonowari talked about the new warriors that have joined in now, but the subject was changed when ronal asked "when do you think the iknimaya should be held, wari?" All eyes fell onto him, he thought for a minute before answering "it is time they pass through it, in a month would be reasonable" he looked back at neteyam and ao'nung, both of them had a little fear plastered over their faces, I chuckled internally at their reaction but it didn't go unnoticed as ronal asked me "why are you so happy, huh? You only have a tsurak, the rest is still to be passed" I just looked at her sheepishly, not wanting to talk about this further I changed the topic again "ma'sempul, can I join you and others for the hunt tomorrow? I still want to practice hunting with y/ts/n" he smiled agreeing right away, telling me what I should or shouldn't take with me, in the end the dinner was finished with me and ao'nung fighting again but it was no surprise.
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
I rode besides tonowari and the other hunters as we made our way to the deep waters for today's hunt, these were the new warriors in training so I had some experience to be a level above them or at least be equal to them, I mastered riding my tsurak many moons ago, now it was becoming a second nature to me, I still flew with my ikran, when the night gets too suffocating a nice flight around awa'atlu is the only thing I need, but y/ts/n was becoming my day to day ride so it was easier to be with him, plus he has the most beautiful saddle and accessories thanks to my gorgeous soon-to-be mate, she hand-made many of the things that are now attached to my tsurak, the intricate details, beading, the weaving patterns, all the time and effort she put into them to make them perfect for me, these were the things I could never thank her enough for, only shower her with my love even more.
We all hunt for hours, tonowari giving us useful tips now and then for better catching, by the end of the hunt my net was full to the brim and so did many others, passing my net to another warrior who was carrying the kills, we started our journey back to the shore, by the time we were halfway there the sun was scalding on our skins, constantly diving into the water to keep our bodies cool, at last we reached the golden shores of metkayina, the only thing on my mind was to take a portion of my hunt back to our mauri and ask ma'sa'nok to prepare it for me, maybe I'll take neteyam with me to convince her even more but my thoughts came to a stop as we landed down, there was a commotion swirling in front of us, i looked at tonowari, he gave the same confused look back, we both made our way towards to center to see what was happening but the scene in front of me stopped me in my tracks altogether.
My mind went blank when i saw Jake, neytiri and their children standing on the golden sands of Awa'atlu, my eyes immediately darted through the crowd to find the face similar to mine but he was looking at me with a same horrified expression, meeting each other in the middle still away from the family we once called ours, he had the same fear evident in his eyes, they still haven't seen us yet but it won't be long before they do, he gripped my arm as he spoke in a hushed voice "what are they doing here?!" I licked my dry lips before speaking "i don't know but if we want to find out…." I looked at tonowari's side and then back at neteyam, he nodded and i gathered every ounce of courage that was left in me but i was again the same little girl who was desperate for her family's love and affection, the same girl who was shoved ruthlessly aside with her twin, rage coursed through my veins and with a nod to him, we walked to tonowari's side ready to face our former family yet again.

The area went silent as you and your twin stood besides the leaders of the clan, the omaticayan family astonished to see their lost twins in such a unexpected place, your face was devoid of expressions, neytiri's heart rejoiced and panged seeing your faces but you held no warmth towards her, Jake felt helpless all over again, deteriorated even. Ronal circled them, throwing insults with great displeasure at the group but not a flicker of sympathy rested in your heart, instead rage kindled in the pit of your stomach, itching brighter as the moments passed, they were here again to ruin everything you made for yourself, everything your brother made for himself, they are here to take it away from you, that's all you could think of, past memories flooded in your mind like a dam being opened at full force, your hands shook as a blanket of fear wafted over your body at the thought to losing everything you've earned now, to start anew, you didn't have that energy to do it all over again, you had a family now, who loves and cares for you, you are not alone this time.
Tonowari was concerned about how quiet you and neteyam were, he rested a hand on your shoulder pulling you back from the trench of old nightmares "are you alright, ma'parultsyip?" His voice soft and caring, he knew by the way you and him reacted to the situation, you knew who the people were but to what extent he didn't know, "we're fine sempul, you and sa'nok have a greater problem to deal with right now" neteyam said with as much steadiness as he could muster, and you nodded, tonowari leaned down cupping yours and neteyam's face as he said "there's no greater problem than ma'parultsyip being in distress, do you understand?" you smiled putting a hand over his where it rested on your cheek "it's fine, sempu, you can go, maybe we can talk about this later" he nodded smiling back and looked at Ronal who was still questioning the family, making his way to them to question them further, while you stared daggers at the family.
Lo'ak and kiri were taken aback at your presence, guilt traced their hearts, they never got a chance to apologize and now they didn't know if you'd even accept it, you stared at them with no remorse as they cower in your gaze, tuk was on cloud nine seeing her tsmuke and tsmukan after so many years, she never once forgot about you two, even in her small memory she remembered, all she wanted to do was jump in your arms and never leave but neytiri held her back as not to upset the Olo'eyktan and the tsahik, you and neteyam were glad to meet your little sister again, you both missed her more than anything, your eyes shifted to Jake, who was struggling to form words, seeing your interaction with tonowari, he knew his chapter in your lifes were over, at a loss of words in the end picking up tuk, when everything felt lost he spoke with an voice of desperation "please, i just want my family safe" you rolled your eyes but sighed looking at tuk, tonowari held a silent conversation with Ronal, looking at the two of you for approval as well, you nodded giving him the green flag to go ahead, you didn't stop to hear the rest as you made your way to tsireya, holding her hand in yours to calm your nerves, she turned to you smiling, rubbing her thumb over the back of your hand, she turned her head back looking at someone, staring at her line of sight, anger swirled in your stomach as you saw lo'ak checking her out but in an instance he looked away when you caught him, tsireya tightened her grip on your hand as she saw the small interaction, for her it was probably nothing but you were adamant to not let go of what you've made for yourself, not to the ones who ruined it for the first time to begin with.

As much i disliked the decision of tsireya and ao'nung training their kids, it was done and couldn't be taken back, for now me and neteyam helped the family move into the new mauri given to them, i didn't like the decision of them living with us in the first place but i wasn't as cruel as they were plus we'll see tuk again, i dropped the mats i was holding with a sickening thump they rolled open, i saw Jake cringed but I didn't say anything, turning back to walk out but i was stopped by a hand on my arm, i looked up to see neytiri with tears in her eyes as she started "ma'evi, how-" i didn't give her time to speak as i wrenched my arm out of her grip, scowling at her while i spoke "do not touch me, ever! Without my permission" the tension in the mauri could be pierced with a knife, she turned to neteyam beginning to speak but he didn't even stop to listen as he walked out, ao'nung followed him, worried what was going on, Jake frantically walked forward, eyes begging to talk to us but i beat him to it "No" I held up my hand to stop him "Enough! don't try to talk to us, anyone of you, you are welcome to stay here as long as you want but leave us alone, do not try to meddle in our lives, the consequences won't be good" with that i walk out to, tsireya following me out, i was angry, at myself, at them, at eywa for giving us this shitty life, at everyone, we met up with neteyam and ao'nung while the latter comforted the former, i sat down beside my twin, tsireya next to me, she held concern in her voice as she spoke "y/n, what was that? Why did you speak to them like that? Do you know them?" I didn't answer her right away, looking at neteyam for confirmation, if he wants to tell them the truth, he nodded once and i answered tsireya's questions "of course we know them *sigh* They were our family"
We sat with tonowari and Ronal, while she wrapped her arms around me, we told them everything as now there was no point in hiding, Ronal kissed my forehead and tonowari was livid, he felt ashamed to let the people who abused his children stay with them, i was in tears by the end we finished our story, tsireya rubbed my back, ao'nung held neteyam, tonowari comforting him as well, my mind felt numb while i snuggled closer in her embrace, Ronal ran her fingers through my hair, whispering against it "are you okay ma' yawnetu? I know it must be hard for both of you, if you want you can go live-" i shook my head in her neck "no sa'nok, you are our family now, you, sempul, ao'nung and tsireya is our family now, not them, not anyone else" neteyam nodded too, joining our hug, soon the other three got in too, we sat there in huge pile of tangled limbs and love, tonowari being the biggest was the foundation, Ronal at his side while me and tsireya cuddle to her left, neteyam and ao'nung beside tonowari cuddled together, that evening every tear was wiped and hearts were mended, everyone slept lighter than usual and i was happy the day ended this way, i pulled tsireya closer to me before i drifted to sleep myself.
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
I few above the clear waters of Awa'atlu, leaning back on my y/i/n, i stared at the bright sky, giving all the control over to him, the sun cascading sunlight down on the beautiful village, i needed a break from yesterday, away from everyone for a little while, enjoying my own presence and thoughts, it's been a few days since they came here, not me nor neteyam has talked to anyone of them neither did they try to seek us out, which was a blessing but we both knew it wasn't for long till we have to talk to them, i closed my eyes sighing at the feeling of the wind caressing my body, i flew in peace till the sun came down a little, not afternoon or evening just in between, sitting up i looked down to land near the shore, while looking out i saw the group tsireya and ao'nung have been training, deciding maybe i can take tsireya with me for a evening walk before we head back for dinner.
I jumped down disconnecting my queue as y/i/n flew away in seconds, everyone's eyes were on me because of my entrance but i didn't care as my eyes only trailed to tsireya's, she smiled instantly signaling me to come in and i did, diving beside her, i ignored everyone but her and ao'nung, turning to ao'nung as neteyam had a message for him "nung, neteyam was looking for you earlier, he has something to give you, i think" i say trying to remember the exact thing my twin told me but couldn't, he nodded bidding his goodbyes, making his way towards the village in minutes, i refocused my attention on tsireya, catching her hand underneath the waters i spoke in a silky voice "maybe if you're done, we can go collect seashells?" She just gave me her shy smile that i could die for, moving away from me she instructed the lesson would continue tomorrow, i went to grab her hand again but lo'ak beat me to it, taking her hand in his as they talked, i raised my eyebrow, what the fuck does he think he's doing? Tsireya nervously got her hand out of his hold, giving him a small smile while she swam back to me, if looks could kill he'd be 6ft under, i restrained myself from talking to him, making our way out of the shallow waters, his stare still lingered on her and my blood boiled but tsireya quietly kept a hand on my shoulder, taking my attention away from him, i smiled at her, instantly forget about my bad mood as we started our walk towards our kelku.
We entered our mauri, my eyes quickly going to ao'nung, who now fashioned a new necklace, i smiled at neteyam who was looking at me already, i yawned, even if i didn't do anything today i felt exhausted, when i told Ronal about it she just suggested i should take some rest and that's what I did, falling onto my hammock and pulling tsireya with me, she giggled but cuddled up to me in the end, my thoughts got less and less clouded, finally going blank as i slipped into a peaceful slumber but before i did i hear a familiar voice which i haven't heard in years sounded, still i was lulled to sleep before i could react as i was too comfortable in my mate's arms.

Jake and neytiri entered the tent, giving their respect to tonowari and Ronal, neytiri's eyes watched your sleeping form cuddled with tsireya, how peaceful you looked in your sleeping state in contrast to your scowl when you saw them, they knew their mistakes, they were sorry for it as well but it was too late, neteyam turned away from them, going as far away as he could so he didn't have to interact, Ronal stepped towards them, ready to defend you and your twin with her life if she had to, putting her hand on the small bump she had as she spoke "is there anything you need?" Her voice stoic, Neytiri looked at you and neteyam longingly, she never forgave Jake for treating you like the way he did, but it was Jake who answered first "we are here to invite our kids for dinner tonight" Ronal's face twisted in disgust "you have lost your right to call them your kids, they are my children not yours" both jake and neytiri flinched at the sudden outburst, neteyam just rolled his eyes from his corner, thank eywa you weren't awake, tonowari got up from his place, reaching his mates side he spoke calmly "we will talk to them, but do not hope they will come" Jake nodded, but neytiri was planted to the ground as she stared at neteyam, who sat like she was invisible, unbothered to even look up from his work, Ronal getting annoyed, she put a arm on neytiri's arm, giving her a slight push as to indicate their stay was over, with a heavy heart she moved, stepping out the mauri with her head hung low.
Tonowari made his way towards neteyam, sitting down in front of him, neteyam sighed of course he had to go, and so did you, you had to make things smooth, even if you'd rather die than see their faces again but you had do it now, tonowari patted him on his head, ao'nung taking his hand, intertwining their fingers together, soon enough Ronal woke you and Tsireya up and delivered the awful news, though your first answer was a stern "NO" you were firm on your decision but a little persuasion and bribing of food, you agreed, both you and neteyam would go to their tent for dinner, instead it felt more like you were walking straight into a palulukan's nest.

Me and Neteyam walked towards the kelku we avoided the most, I begged Tsireya to come with me, cried even, but she was firm on me going alone, ahh how she betrayed me! But she was right too, i guess, still even if i thought about good thing, the tent in front of me made me sulk again, reaching the entrance of it, i took in a shaky breath and Neteyam knocked on the rim, all their heads turned to us and i wanted to turn around and run away forever, Again! But i fought the urge and walked in with Neteyam with me, Neytiri looked like she was holding her breath, tuk looked happy to see us, Kiri and Lo'ak were too shock to see us there, Jake looked like he was about to breakdown, i sighed having enough of this "you called us for dinner, jake?" His face fell when I called him by his name, but i had no regret, Neytiri looked heart broken, Neteyam stayed silent beside me, Jake started talking "yes- yeah, i wanted to have chat over dinner" i nod, keeping my face straight, we sat down in a circle, me and Neteyam a little bit further away from the circle so we weren't sitting directly beside them, i look up from my plate as i said "what did you want to take about, Jake?" It was clear it hurted him to hear me calling him Jake, "we wanted to talk about- um- about what happened, 6 years ago" i stopped mid bite, so did Neteyam, his hand in the air as he was about to take one.
"We had enough of you dictating us, you burnt us out, so we left, we found a home where they actually treated us like children and not like soldiers, we are happy and we have a happy family with a loving mother and a amazing father" i finished then Neteyam started "we found our love here, where we tried to find it in you, but you were too full of yourself, none of you helped us, not Neytiri, not Kiri, not Lo'ak, we only had eachother, we did what was best for us, we left" Neytiri's face crumbled when Neteyam called her Neytiri, he was a mama's boy but his mama ignored him in the end.
Everyone was silent after that, Kiri was crying silently, Lo'ak looked down in embarrassment and guilt, i just continued to eat, i didn't care now how they felt by now, i was here for dinner so I'm having it, when i was finished, Neytiri was crying, Jake looked like he was slapped in the face, Kiri was sobbing, Lo'ak looked like he could throw up, i looked to tuk "i happy to see you tuk tuk, come by tomorrow, we'll go swimming" i said right in front of them, tuk smiled as she threw herself on me hugging me, and i laughed hugging her tightly, she pulled Neteyam in too "I'm missed you so much tsmukan, tsmuke" i smiled and we both said in sync "we missed you too tuk tuk" she pulled back, going back to her place and we got up, our faces going blank again "i think we're clear here" i said in a flat voice, that held no warmth, no kindness like it did before when i talked with tuk and i hear Neteyam say "don't call us again" and with that we both turned around, walking out, not looking back at them, once again.

I groaned as i leaned back on my hands, Tsireya beside me, she had a sympathetic expression on her face, she held my hand in hers, when we got back i nearly picked her up in front of everyone and put her down on my tsurak as we made our way to our spot, i was furious, mad crazy, but hurt too, their apologize meant nothing, not anymore anyways, for once we were having an amazing life and they HAD to come ruin for us, tsireya comforted me as best as she could buy i was in my own mind, we stayed the whole night there, sleep was something that i had to chase every night but tonight it was exceptionally hard, at afternoon the next day we decide to go back, my stomach was growling for food as we didn't have breakfast, so getting on y/ts/n, me and tsireya started to make our way back.
As we got closer to our side of the shore, some shouts and screams caught my attention, i looked back at tsireya in confusion "what's going on?" I asked her, her shrug was the only answer, getting to the spot of the shouting my blood ran cold as i saw ka'ani, the clan's known idiot, pushing kiri back and lo'ak shoving him in return, i quickly flew my way over to them, i jumped down before my tsurak even touched the ground and i immediately got in between both the boy, i pressed two fingers on ka'ani's chest, pushing him back "stay away from, you hear me?!" He looked at me, eyeing me from head to toe, he backed up, hands up in the air, motioning his surrender, just then I saw neteyam and ao'nung coming in on their ilus, I walked to kiri "are you okay? Did they hurt you?" I asked, checking her for any harm, she just grabbed my arm, tears forming in her eyes "hey, we might be angry, but we won't stop to protect our own from harm, alright? But this doesn't mean we forgive you" i said patting her shoulder, i heard murmuring behind me, turning around i see ao'nung talking back to ka'ani and neteyam pulling back lo'ak, tsireya walked upto me "come on, guys, enough of this let's go home" i said as i grabbed tsireya's hand and started my way back when i heard screaming and yelling again but this time louder.
Lo'ak and ka'ani hit eachother furiously, ao'nung joined lo'ak and soon did neteyam, i hesitated but the prospect of beating ka'ani's ass was too good and i got in with them, we handed their asses back to them before tonowari and Jake pulled us back, i had blood dripping down from the side of my eye, my lip busted but the adrenaline from beating them was still running through me, tonowari was pissed "what was that?!" He yelled at me, neteyam and ao'nung, shoving us into the mauri, i started "sempul, ka'ani and his gang were disrespecting kiri and lo'ak, we just tried to protect them" he pinched the bridge of his nose "Fine! But next time, you come to me and no more fighting! Am I clear?!" All three of us replied in sync "yes sempu" he simply smiled and shook his head "what have i got myself into?" And we all laughed, while we were all unaware of what lo'ak got in consequence of this fight.

I was sitting on the beach with tsireya and tuk, neteyam and ao'nung were playing in the water, when i heard footsteps coming towards us, i looked up to see lo'ak and kiri walking towards us, i instantly sat up as they took their places beside me, before i could register them being there, Kiri started "thank you- for saving me" and i looked at her with a soft expression "it's okay, i did what i thought was right and ka'ani needed some putting in place too" i smile, my eyes shifted to lo'ak, who had his head down "Jake scolded you, didn't he? I know he did" i looked annoyed, not at him but at Jake, lo'ak looked at me "I'm glad you and neteyam got away, i finally saw what you guys went through and we turned a blind eye to both of you" tears stained his cheeks and neteyam, ao'nung and tuk made their way to us, neteyam sitting beside me as we both pulled lo'ak into a hug "hey, it's fine, we get it" kiri joined our hug "we're sorry, really, terribly sorry for what we did to you, for all the ignorance" kiri cried in my shoulder and i looked at neteyam, we both knew they were sorry, as we held them, i sighed, my mind fought for the years we spent suffering then my heart is battling with my love towards my siblings, in the in we all knew we couldn't be angry at them, Jake and neytiri? Yes but not them, they were kids too so we forgave them "it's okay, we forgive you" me and neteyam both said together, their cries worsened and we held them till all the years worth of guilt and blame was spent out.
After they calmed down, we all laughed and played together, i even gave kiri a ride on my tsurak, while lo'ak begged me to give him one, i just flipped him off, the splash fighting lasted till eclipse and by the time we got out of water we were shivering, all of us but it was fun, nonetheless, it was time well spent.

Jake stood near the tree, so close yet so far away, as he watched the scene unfold in front of him, his twins, his once pride and joy and still are at some degree at the present but his own heart burned and shriveled up for their love, his eyes stung with unshed tears, a small smile playing on his lips at the sight of Lo'ak and Kiri Bonding with them, they had forgiven their siblings but he knew even if Neteyam might forgive them but you would rain hell before even thinking about it, he messed up and he knows it, god he suffered and is suffering for 6 years now, with Neytiri blaming him and lo'ak's guilt stricken state, he had no choice but to suffer in silence and he knew he deserved it because you and your twin suffered in silence all those years and now that you're finally living your life to the fullest, he is no longer a part of it, it kills him that people who are strangers to him are more of parent then he ever was, to see your trust in them being so great, he died a little inside everyday seeing you call someone else 'father' and him by his name- that's what shocked him even more, you called him Jake, not dad, nor sir just jake, as if he was nothing to you.
He longed to be your father again, but he knew he'd have to walk through a holocaust to even make up one percent of the damage he had inflicted upon them, he burned in the fire he ignited and only you could stop it now.

im back :D
So like what ifafter the reader runs away
And its been about a year or so and j+n come to the Metkayina clan for refuge and when the reader sees them. They go into a panic attack and this gives j+n a sort of wake up call about how much they've affected the reader.
Not only that but the reader just compleatly breaks down for a bit and has to be taken back to he home(i for got the word lol). This makes t and r look at the syllu family in compleat hatred. Maybe even the readers kids hiss at them or somthing idk :)
it’s gonna be 15 years until they go to the reef bc of the movie!
but yes reader would either be calm and collected, moving past what’s happened and all that, or she’ll end up going into ptsd mode. i think personally she’ll go into calm and collected, she’ll have a new family and would have moved on from the forest and her past!
but t and r would absolutely hate them if she were to break down

I get sad when I remember that reader had to leave spider 😔 he would’ve been so happy at the reef and with the twins fuck Jake and Neytiri for not giving a shit about him 😔 he deserves actual parents
he would have absolutely adored the reef! sweet boy would have been so eager to learn more of the peoples ways, definitely enamoured by the ocean. he would have been such a good big brother to readers twins 🥲
he just deserves someone to love and care for him more deeply. like i get he had adoptive human parents. but he seems to not have a proper attachment to them, he just needs someone to be there for him more 😔

The months went by quick, too quick. Every day was the same for ___, wake up early, do her chores, eat and go to bed. It was a cycle that was never ending and the days started to drag.
Especially since she became swollen with her baby.
The day she found out was one that brought her happiness for the first time in what felt like forever. Mo’at noticed a change, she got tired quicker, her cravings changed her appetite in food and she was more emotional.
“Ma ‘ite, you are with child” the elder grinned, hand on her stomach and pressing down to feel the tiny bump in her skin. ___’s eyes welled up with tears, a smile crawling it’s way onto her face as she giggled and grabbed her mother in laws hand. “The great mother shines upon you, sweet one”
Immediately the woman had to tell her mates, but she hesitated. They have been cruel to her since that day under the tree of souls, the harsh words and hands never stopping their ministrations. It became too much for her and often the Na’vi sought comfort in the woods, where she met Norm and Spider.
The child was a home away from home, her comfort during dark days. Norm often let her have days alone together where she would take the toddler to find fruit, swim in the nearby lakes or show him the beauty of his home. He was her light and she vowed to take care of him. In some ways they were the same, abandoned and alone.
When ___ did end up letting Neytiri and Jake know of her condition, they glowered at her and the female warrior had to step out of their home. Her hormones were often full of anger, taking out her voice on anyone who dared cross her and the healer was often the backend of it. But for Jake’s sake she stepped out for some air.
“We can get rid of it” they were words that were most unexpected, the voice harsh and yellow eyes glared into her own watering ones. Jake and his wife did not want a child from her, they did not need one, he had one on the way and another is one that he just can not and will not take care of. “Mo’at should have something to abort it, go to her”
She’s never stuck up for herself against them, not after the first time. Fear kept her on her knees and she never once talked back. But she had to this time, the words almost forcing themselves out of her.
“No”
“No?” Jake stepped up to her and raised a brow when she didn’t back down.
“No. I will not” her English was heavily accented but was understandable, she brought her hands to her belly as if to protect the growing life from the incoming punches, not wanting her baby to be subjected to the same abuse.
“If you grow that thing we will have nothing to do with it” Jake turned and walked out. His point was made and his statement was clear. They were not her mates and had no custody over her child. ___ held her hands over her mouth as she whimpered quietly, the pain in her heart grew every day and the stress of her incoming pregnancy weighed her down.
They did not celebrate or announce her pregnancy to the clan.
Mo’at was confused, Jake was most happy to shout it out to the whole moon of his future child with Neytiri, why is he not doing the same with ___? Every time she tried to ask the clan leader he seemed to dodge away from her, avoiding any chance to talk. She will get to him for Eywa’s sake.
But if he and her daughter will not speak, she will go to their sweet mate. The Tsahìk found her by one of the rivers near Hellsgate, a small human boy situated on her lap as she spoke to him in both English and Na’vi, pointing at the fish swimming by their feet. Mo’at smiled at them, keeping her steps silent, she has heard of the rowdy boy living amongst the scientists, but has yet to introduce herself to him.
She made a small chirp as to alert them and watched as ___ moved her head back to see who it was and when she saw, her eyes lit up. “Ma Sa’nok, come” she beckoned the woman over and patted the spot next to her. Spider watched as the other lady sat down next to them and took notice of the many beads on her, reaching a tiny hand out to touch one that dangled by her side.
Mo’at chuckled at the child, silently asking ___ if she can pick him up. Once she got the go ahead the elder held him as if he was any other Omaticayan baby, letting him explore the garments she wore. “I thought you would be here, but I did not anticipate another”
“He is Spider, ma sa’nok. One of the children the humans look after” ___ chuckled as the toddler put a bead in his mouth, shooting the women a giggle when they cooed at him. “He is sweet, yes?”
Mo’at could not help but agree, nodding her head as she took one of her hands and placed it against her daughters stomach, right where the tiny bump was. “It has not been announced. Lumpe?” she gave ___ a critiqued look as she awaited an answer.
The woman sighed and watched the fish in the water swirling between her feet, “we have decided to keep it private, for my sake. You know I dislike being in the spotlight like that” she lied and it was obvious. ___ winced as the elder reached up to pinch the tip of her ear.
“You cannot lie to a Tsahìk, we see all” Mo’at glanced out into the forest, watching as the leaves swayed in the breeze and the insects crawl on the trunks of the trees. “I ask again. Why?”
“If you see all, then surely you must know” her ear was pinched again. Yellow eyes connected and ___ sighed, she was afraid to tell her mother in law the truth, afraid that once she did she would be deemed a liar and outcasted by her too. “They did not want too…they do not see my baby as theirs. They do not see me as theirs…” she whispered finally, deciding to let it out into the open.
“I knew it. The bruises, the way they never look at you, they do not care for you. And this? This is them failing to see” the Tsahìk growled but quieted down when the boy in her arms shifted, looking up at her with wide eyes. She patted his head and turned back to ___ who quickly wiped her eyes. “I will speak to-“
“Kehe. I do not want this getting out of hand”
“You need help ma ‘ite” but the woman was insistent, begging Mo’at to let her sort it out on her own. With this baby they will eventually see reason.
They both hoped what she said would be true.
Tumblr media
“What did I say?!” Neytiri shouted at the other woman, hissing in her direction and pointing to the basket of beads “you do not touch those! You will NEVER touch those!”. The beads in question belonged to Sylwanin, her dead sister. ___ thought she could just look through them and find a bead for her baby, she knew it was what her old friend would have allowed and have been honoured by.
“She was my friend…” the woman whispered, ears down, hands placed on her swollen belly, rubbing soothingly as to hopefully calm the movement. Na’vi babies grow fast and already Neytiri was nearing the end of her pregnancy with only less than a month left. Not long after ___ would give birth to hers, but for now they continue to turn and kick, responding to their mama’s words and touches.
“She WAS your friend! Not now! Not any more! But she was and will be my sister! Even after death! You have no one, not anymore” Neytiri picked up the basket and placed it on the far end of their home, by their hammock and away from ___’s. Ever since Mo’at found of her conditions, she made sure a suitable bed was given for her to sleep in, a floor was no place for a budding mother.
___ softly cried, her emotions getting out of hand, she picked one hand off of her stomach and wiped her dropping tears. Sylwanin was like a sister to her too, she deserved to have something on her in her memory. Like the bracelet that was on her wrist, the one that they made together as children.
It was as if the warrior could read her mind because she stalked up to the woman and grabbed her arm, eying the beaded string wrapping around the appendage. Neytiri wasted no time and grabbed it as hard as she could, pulling it and watching as the tiny bits of stone clattered around the floor, dropping the twine that weaved through them. “She is not yours to honour! How can you after all that happened?!”
___ cried harder, soft sounds turning into loud sobs as she fell to her knees and tried to pick up the pieces of what was left. “No! Why?! Why must you do this?!” her words earned her a shove to her back from a foot pushing onto her chest.
Neytiri screamed at her “YOU KNOW WHY! You do not deserve happiness! Do not deserve that thing inside you!” having enough, the tsakarem left, climbing down the tree with her fathers bow, going to hunt to cool herself down. If she stayed she did not know what other damage she will do towards the woman.
“Sylwanin, I am sorry” the woman stayed curled up on the floor weeping, looking at one of the beads on the floor in front of her and taking it into her hand, holding it close to her heart. She could not deal with this pain in her heart any more, she needed to take her mind off of it. She could not see spider in this state, the boy, despite a human, has grown significantly. He is already the age of two years and is able to have short conversations with her. If he saw her upset he will become sad too, and she hated to see him sad.
___ carefully got up from the floor, sweeping the beads and taking the broken string, moving to place it inside a small satchel she had in her side of the room. The pregnant woman wobbled over to the entrance and pulled it back, sighing and descending slowly to the forest floor. It was hard for her to move and most days she spent inside the hut, even when Jake’s harsh words made her upset. He called her lazy, yet do not understand the weight of her stomach and the swollen ankles of her feet. Her belly was large, far larger than what was normal for an Omaticayan baby and she was worried for the child’s health, Mo’at says they will be fine though, so she entrusts everything to Eywa’s will.
___ waddled into the forest, only carrying her knife and her thoughts. It was not time for eclipse so she could go to the tree of souls and back in time for bed. She will skip the communal dinner and eat what is left over. She knew it was not healthy for the child she carried, or for herself, but she does not have the will in her to face her supposed mates.
The jungle seamed to glow in the daylight when the Na’vi strolled past, the grass softly swayed beneath her feet and syaksyuk glanced to her in curiosity, swinging away once they have had their fill. She smiled at a mother holding her young, giggling when the baby tried to get closer to her so the Na’vi stopped.
Once the creature neared her it tapped her swollen belly twice, looking at her and running away when their mother hooted for them to go. Smiling at the small interaction she carried on with her journey, it was almost like the great mother is blessing her. The small syaksyuk lifted her dampened spirits until her mind wondered back to the broken bracelet and she sighed, ears turned down once again.
The tree of souls was beautiful, even in the daylight. It’s white tendrils moved and pulsed with energy, almost as if it was greeting her. ___ walked closer and took out her queue, letting the nerves tangle with one of the hanging branches of the tree. Her pupils dilated as she was sucked through the eye of Eywa, coming out of the end of the tunnel and being faced with Kelutral. Her old home.
“And what are you doing?” a little voice sassily scolded behind her, small hand tapping her back thigh and prompted ___ to turn around. The woman’s eyes watered at the sight of a younger Sylwanin, a few years younger than the day the RDA took her life away from her.
“Sylwanin” she tried to squat but found it too hard to properly hold the position so she resorted to sitting down, her hand held her friends own as the girl cocked her head to the side. “It has been too long”
“Srane. Too long indeed. Your tummy is big” the child pointed out and placed a small hand on top of it, feeling the movement of the babe and grinning. ___ was not able to see Sylwanin at the tree since she found out about her pregnancy, Neytiri made sure about that.
___ giggled at her, cupping her face and kissing her forehead. When her eyes opened she was met with the yellow of an older girl, one who was both mature and wise. “Syl’, Neytiri poe -“ the very thought pained her and the pregnant woman squeezed her eyes shut, heart heavy with grief and stress. “I do not understand why - I am sorry” she started to sob, shoulders shaking at the weight of it all.
Her friend held her wrist in her hand and examined it, blood and forming blisters caked it where the bracelet was pulled. ___ wiped her eyes clear, sniffling. She did not notice it before. “You have not been treated well. My sister is being a kurkung” Sylwanin hissed in anger, using her thumb to brush away the rest of the tears that fell down the others face. “But you do not have to be sorry for her mistakes”
“I feel like I had to apologise”
“There was no need” she kissed the wounded wrist and ___ felt no pain, just a soft pressure and a feeling of comfort spread through her body. “You can always make a new one, no? Or better yet, name them after me” she chuckled and pointed to her friends tummy.
___ grinned and rolled her eyes “Sylwanin is a silly name, there is no need” and at that, the mentioned girl pinched the tip of ___’s ear. She let out an ‘ouch!’ and glared playfully, she was exactly like her mother.
“My name would be great for your child, I would have forced Tsu’tey to name our own after me”
“Poor Tsu’tey” ___ laughed louder when Sylwanin slapped her arm. When the joy dulled down, the heaviness of the world came crashing onto her, the mood swings elevating her emotions. “Syl’ I do not think I could do this any longer” she cried out once more, tail thumping the floor and ears pinned to her head “they would treat my baby with harsh words and neglect, that is no way for a child to live…I cannot do this without you. I wish you was here. I wish I still had the bracelet” her eyes produced fresh warm tears that ran down her cheeks. ___ missed Sylwanin with her whole heart and when Neytiri broke her accessory, it was like ripping into her chest and squeezing until she stopped living.
The older Na’vi cupped her face, eyes doe and smile filled with understanding “ma tsmuke, I am always with you. Bracelet or not. I am apart of Eywa. I follow you wherever you go, I see you wherever you turn, I am with you ___. Even if you do not see me”
“I see you sister, Oel ngati kam -“ a sharp pain stopped her watery words, her hand instantly clamped down on her abdomen, breathing ragged. What was this? Another sharp punch and what felt like water ran down her legs. No. It was too early.
Panicked she looked up at her sister who looked as calm as ever, reassuring her frightened body with just a glance in the eye. “You are ready to become a mother. Just breathe ___. Breathe”
Her eyes blinked open and she inhaled sharply, she was back under the tree of souls, no Sylwanin in sight. Another kick in her tummy made her release a shout. She held onto her friends words, like an anchor at the back of her head. She breathed in deeply and let the air out slow.
It was time.

Then why did your heart beat so fast at the thought of his eyes in love and enchanted as he looked at yours?
The morning came too early for your taste, the sea breeze and the sun’s rays forced you to wake up in a bad mood. A long sigh came out of your mouth when you remembered that today you were going to go to the Omatikaya clan, already feeling the pains in your stomach that made you regret even waking up.
You got up off the carpet, hearing your mother’s voice calling you already impatiently, almost certainly as she loaded her personal belongings on her Ikran, yelling at your father to do the same. You took advantage of the fact that Ikeyni seemed focused on yelling at your father to take a few minutes to eat some fruit and sneak out, to go say goodbye to Uleyte.
"Where do you think you’re going? Come back here and start loading your ikran." Your mother’s voice prevented you from implementing your escape plan, you sighed heavily before nodding and doing as she had asked.
For the next twenty minutes you loaded your items on your Ikran, doing everything slowly and unwillingly, hoping your mother would change her mind and tell you to stay home, but she didn’t. She turned her back on you by continuing to do what she was doing, not wanting to know of any protest or request to stay. Once the Ikran were ready, Uleyte had come to greet you and wish you a safe journey, much like the whole village.
Your friend took you aside before you left, taking you away from where the elders and clan were wishing a safe journey under Eywa’s protection.
"Are you all right? Are you ready?" she asked, caressing your face with kindness, noticing your little hidden expression of sadness.
"No and no, I don’t want to see him but I can’t avoid him either. I have a plan, I’m going to be the mature person who doesn’t suffer for him anymore." Your voice was pretty convincing, even though your heart knew perfectly well that it would screw up all your plans.
"Are you sure? I already have some things packed, I’m ready to get on Yìmkxa and follow you. You still have time to ask me" The girl’s words made you laugh and hugged her.
"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine." You answered and then you saw Uleyte take your face and put her forehead on yours. " Really, I’ll be fine," you whispered and smiled.
"May Eywa protect you, I will pray for you. If that Sully makes you suffer, I swear to you, I’ll learn to ride an Ikran and I’ll smack his ass." she said dramatically, only to smile and look you in the eye, leaving on your hand a band woven with the colors of the clan and small green leaves.
"Thank you…" you said with a thread of voice, then hugged her again, holding her with affection and holding the jewel. Feeling a gust of wind wrapped around your back, smiling gently, thinking that that was Ney'nari joining the embrace, just like when you were younger.
You broke away from the hug, when your mother called you from her Ikran, making you sigh before saying goodbye to your friend and return to your ikran. You put on the sash before you climbed on Yìmkxa and followed your parents in flight, noticing at the end Tul'pey watching you from afar, then turning around and going. Yet another sigh came out of your mouth as you walked with your family to the clan that had now become your worst nightmare, even though you would have liked to see Tuk, Kiri and even Lo'ak again, even though he looked like a total idiot.
The hours in flight passed faster than you thought and you watched your clan get further and further away, welcoming the land of the Omatikaya with wonder, noticing how the forest was enchanting, totally different from how you could admire it from the coastal area. Your family landed on the Omatikaya ground when the eclipse was already disappearing into the sky leaving room for the night, immediately noticing how the main village was welcoming you with much warmth.
You felt uncomfortable to see all those Na'vi who greeted you holding their hands to their foreheads and then pointing at you, returning the gesture immediately after your parents, looking at the people in front of you who opened the way for you to pass. You noticed how your mother’s pace accelerated when she saw Neytiri coming at her, hugging her with affection, while Jake formally greeted your family. Next to them you saw Kiri, Lo'ak and Tuk, but not Neteyam, you didn’t know whether to be happy or not, but a small gap in your heart made itself felt.
Tuktirey was the first to greet you, hugging you affectionately, emulating your mothers, this made you smile as you returned the little girl’s embrace.
"Have you grown taller these past few months? Soon you will reach me" you said playfully, making her laugh as you ruffled the pigtails in her head, while Kiri simply greeted you formally as Lo'ak. In the glances of the two older brothers you could notice some note of displeasure, making you realize that they probably both knew how you were emotionally.
"And you’ve become even more beautiful! Even your clothes are so beautiful!" Tuk’s voice made you smile again, she was really a sweet and kind girl, who did not miss the opportunity to give voice to her innocent and sincere thoughts.
The three young Sullys helped your family settle in one of the empty tree houses, very different from your clan’s wooden huts. You thanked the three brothers and for a few hours you spoke, while they took you out of the house to be eaten throughout the clan as was tradition. You would lie in saying that you had not sought Neteyam’s eyes among people or his perfume, but in this case you did not find them, his person around you seemed so absent.
"He can’t get out of the hut, it’s a tradition that the future Olo'eyktan stays alone in the Tsahik's hut" Lo'ak whispered to you, noticing that you were looking for something with your eyes. You were already fighting back. "I know you were looking for him, don’t pretend" he continued, making you sigh heavily before eating a steamed teylu.
"I didn’t ask" you snorted while you were eating.
"But you were looking for an answer, I just gave it to you." You turned to him, like you wanted to ask for something else, but you shut up before talking, knowing there was no point in raising your hopes.
"Thank you, but I didn’t need it." You whispered and then noticed the look of understanding that Lo'ak turned to you.
Lo'ak and Kiri could see from your eyes the same feeling of despondency that Neteyam had in these months without you. They knew that you both wanted each other and also understood your duties as future leaders of your respective clans, what they did not understand was why your parents did not come against you or why they seemed so blind to your unhappiness. When Jake announced the impending mating between Neteyam and Reyin'al, the Sullys' older brother had been desperate to have more time, he wanted to keep his promise to you, returning to you after some time, apologizing. The only one to understand it immediately was Neytiri who tried to convince her husband to give him more time. Neteyam had spent the days before her forced mating praying and meditating, looking for Eywa to beg her to take you back to him, if only to make you feel his apology.
After a few minutes of talking to Kiri and Lo'ak, an elderly Na'vi approached you, making herself known as "grandmother" thanks to Tuk who had greeted her. She asked you to follow her and you nodded, moving from the ground to follow her to an open house, where on the ground there was a young Na'vi that you recognized for the smell.
You rolled your eyes and noticed that Na'vi was Reyin'al. The old woman sat you next to her and looked at you. "Y/n te Skxumew Ikeyni'ite, as the last earthly guide of the future Olo'eyktan you are called to speak with the Tsakarem Reyin'al te Sxeke Ninat'ite, to guide her spiritually and mentally towards the great rite"The old Tsahìk, Mo'at, dismissed without too much ceremony, closing the curtain behind her. Your heart stopped beating as your lungs threatened to let you choke.
"There is nothing I can say about Neteyam more than one of his brothers can." You said after collecting as much air and security to look strong.
"You’ve been with my mate for over a month, you can tell me something more about him." Her sour voice made you doubt that she was the daughter of the singer of the Omatikaya clan.
"Is an exceptional Na'vi. He excels at everything he does, but I think you know that better than I do, because you grew up with him" Your tone became just as acidic, while a sharp tension was created in the air. She looked at you thinning her eyes, just like Pandora’s predators did before attacking their prey.
"These are things I already know, my mate is great at everything. He also told me about his lessons… with you." Reyin'al spit out the last part with poison, as if the thought of Neteyam with you burned in her mouth.
She had noticed how Neteyam spoke of you, describing you as exceptional, an excellent guide, a kind friend and admirable Leader, she had never heard him say a bad word about you. She smelled the situation, but she knew that Na'vi men were having fun with many women before mating through Tsaheylu with one woman.
He still remembered that 'Ma Tanhì' said when you asked Neteyam who she was, the way Neteyam seemed to fall apart after seeing you leave, and then run after you despite her trying to hold him back. She hated the moment they left and he wouldn’t stop looking back, or how he had waited for you to return to his hut until the last. She knew that you were something more than a teacher to him, but she could not afford to raise charges against the future Olo'eykte of a clan as powerful as the Tayrangi, best known for their skills in riding the Banshees and hunting.
"Like I said, he’s a Na'vi who excels at everything he does. He was a very good student." Your voice was cold, while you supported his predatory gaze with your indifferent, you did not intimidate Reyin'al in the slightest and she noticed.
"Then it is a good thing that he chose wisely to anticipate the rite of Tsaheylu with me. It was months away, but after he came home two months ago, he decided to cut it short. I guess I should thank you." Her words stabbed you in the chest without even expecting it. It was difficult for you to keep your face as indifferent as possible, because inside you a new piece of your soul was torn.
"There’s nothing to thank. I didn’t do anything." Reyin'al smiled at you with disdain before answering you.
"But you have done a lot. Don’t think I don’t know." At these words you looked at her, feeling the bitterness in your throat, as if it were poison.
"What would you know?" You asked, as your eyes tapered like hers, the only difference being that your eyes were more endearing, and she reassembled.
"That surely in your clan he will have fun with some woman, it is normal for Omatikaya men to have moments of leisure away from home." Her tone was mean, just like her eyes. "Of course I gave him permission for all this, you know how the guys are, but then he came back to me. He was so happy to come home, come back in my arms. He could no longer stay away from me" you looked at her with indifference, as you derealized what she was saying. "After all, I am his mate, I’ll be the one to bind myself to him and his soul tomorrow. For this, I thank you. You guided my soulmate wisely."
You took a deep breath before nodding, accepting her thanks, knowing there was something unsaid. "I only did my duty." You hissed
"You are too modest. You guided my soulmate on the right path, he returned home healthy and stronger. It’s no small feat, though I’m sure he’s had his affairs with some skank. You know, Neteyam had always been in love with me and he suffered so much from my lack that the first day when he came home we…you know. He was so passionate and engaging" his tone getting increasingly mean to you, you knew she was doing it on purpose. But the thought of Neteyam doing the same thing to you hurt so much. " He also started calling me 'Tanhi', He says I shine like a star, that’s why he calls me so. It’s something he said when we were kids, I’m so glad he remembered."
The heart fell into your stomach, being dissolved in the acids that were contained in that place. Neteyam called that woman what he called you, it hurt you, your bleeding wounds now seemed to result in hemorrhage. "I’m glad." you hissed before you got up from the tappet to get away from her.
"Don’t you wish me a safe path with my soulmate Neteyam? it is tradition." She smiled mean while watching you get up from the ground. Reyin'al waited for the blessing, noticing how your eyes revealed a veil of pain you were trying to hide. "May Eywa protect your path." You said clenched teeth, noticed her proud smile and winning posture before heading out of the hut.
You took a long, deep breath to hold back what looked like tears of pain, starting to walk to the opposite point from which you had arrived. You hated how you were feeling, you knew that maybe it was a lie, but there was that worm in your head that told you it wasn’t a lie. Why did she have to lie? Surely Neteyam did not tell her that they had had intimate moments, so why not believe her? But at the same time your heart screamed that you had to believe in him
Your heart hurt again, as if small needles were slowly puncturing it, causing you to feel pain, but you could not scream from the pain due to large throat knots. Unknowingly you found yourself in front of a closed hut but that had an unquestionable perfume, he was there.
You would have liked to see him, but at the same time you preferred not to. After two months you felt so close to him and the only thing you could do was lay your hand on the tent for a few seconds, along with your forehead, poisoning yourself with his sweet scent that was better than you remembered. You would have wanted to come in and look at his eyes as you convinced yourself that he was nobody, but your heart was beating so hard feeling his heart close again. You sighed once again before turning around and leaving, not knowing that Neteyam had felt youe presence too, but when he got up to open the tent it was too late to see you, so he thought it was just another joke of his mind.
It hurt, everything in you hurt, but in those few seconds that his perfume collided against your nose, it made you feel at home and calm. You were wondering if he really lied to you, all those promises, kisses, intimate moments, was it really all just fun?
You tried to buy yourself back, you couldn’t afford to collapse again, not in a place where everyone knew you like the next Tayrangi Olo'eykte, you would have been weak. And that’s how you swallowed your feelings, pulling the moments with Neteyam out of your mind and torturing yourself with Reyin'al’s words, it was good to know now, it would have been enough to convince you of the woman’s words and your heart would not have made a beat thinking of that boy who was not yours.
It took you some time before you found the right road to the house where you were staying with your parents, and when you found it you rushed in with the intention of going to sleep. Your mother told you a few things, but you ignored her words to keep your mind empty, nodding as if you were consenting to everything she said, then taking your things and going to sleep in those strange capsules that were the clan’s bed.
You prayed to Eywa to take away the pain, to strengthen you for the next day, and to protect your heart if you saw Neteyam, so as not to fall for him again. You closed your eyes, unknowingly seeking comfort in the necklace around your neck, forgetting that some threads are twisted belonged to Neteyam, feeling strangely better before falling asleep.
The day greeted you in a way too tortuous for you, the air was so intrinsic of happiness around you, hearing some Na'vi preparing the village for the big event. You could understand their joy, after all the eldest son of Olo'eyktan was going to take his place, and lead the clan in a new era of prosperity and peace under the gentle hand of the Great Mother.
You opened your eyes, cursing yourself for waking up one more time, hoping that for some strange reason the capsule would fall, but unfortunately for you it wasn’t.
You climbed to the platform where there were already many Na'vi coming and going with some decorative objects or delicacies for the banquet that would take place immediately after the main event. Formal and ceremonial clothes adorned the slender bodies of the tribe, and guests from other clans, reminding you that you too should have prepared to honor the new couple who would be your clan’s ally, but there was no joy in your heart, only bitterness and sadness. These feelings increased when you noticed Reyin'al coming out of Ninat’s tent, dressed in a charming manner that almost looked like Eywa's daughter. The long black braids were adorned with jewels typical of the Omatikaya, with some feathers that you recognized as those of Neteyam and his family, her face was radiant and bold as she walked through the village to return to her tent, drawing everyone’s attention and eyes on her. You envied her then.
Lucky for you your mother Ikeyni found you with a speed and ease that reminded you why she was recognized as a great hunter and observer, she took you from her arm and then dragged you to the house where you were staying, to get ready. She wasted no time and arranged your braids, picking them up slightly and putting some items representing the Tayrangi clan before sending you to change with your dissent.
"Mother, the ceremony will begin later. Don’t rush me, nobody’s waiting for me" You snorted while wearing ceremonial clothes that strangely were so complicated and full of draperies. They remembered the nets your clan used to fish, while the loincloth cloth was draped in such a way as to simulate the waves, but thanks to the light breeze it seemed to emulate something vaguely like the wind.
"Ma 'ite, of course they are waiting for you. I told you about it yesterday, Mo'at asked that the teacher of Neteyam prepare him with tribal painting as a last step lesson, from student to Olo'eyktan. You said 'yes', so they are waiting for you now" Hearing your mother’s words you opened your eyes wide and walked out of the corner where you were changing.
"Me what? No. Why me? II have not accepted anything. And then, even dad taught and trained Neteyam, why does he not do it?" Your voice revealed a slight panic and exasperation. You couldn’t believe the one time you didn’t listen to your mother, she asked you to do this. It felt like Eywa was starting to play with you again, or your sister was trying to help you again, and at that moment you remembered the speech he gave to her two months earlier.
"Because I asked you, if you had told me 'no', I would have asked Tsentey. But you said yes, and I told Mo'at and the Sully family" She said, and then she smiled at you in those clothes. "You already look like the Olo'eykte Tayrangi. Today will be your time to be the face of the clan" Her sweet voice made you breathe heavily.
You didn’t feel like making a fuss and going against your own word, if you had retreated back, your word would never have been taken seriously by anyone. You looked at your mother’s eyes, full of pride as she saw you wearing those clothes that fully represented your clan and your status.
"Your sister sewed this dress a long time ago, she said she would give it to you on the day of your social debut as the future Tsahik, as she said that you would be the spiritual voice of the clan…now you wear it to represent the Tayrangi as the future Olo'eykte and Tsakarem" as if the memory of Ney'nari were hurting her, in fact she never spoke of her.
"Me? Tsahik? I was so rebellious and unmanageable, how could she think I would be a good spiritual guide?" You said laughing bitterly at the memory. Ironic how even your clothes reminded you of your sister, it seemed like she was doing everything to remind you of that Tsaheylu argument.
"You were, but she said that your soul was deeply connected to Eywa, even if you didn’t participate in the rites, you ran into the forest or the sea and connected to the native animals. She convinced me that you would become a great Tsahik, but look at you here… My little girl will be Olo'eykte" She caressed your face gently, and glimpsed in your eyes a bit of the spiritual essence of Ney'nari, making her smile. "Now go, you’re already late and I still have to get ready." she said before she left you. You knew she was about to cry over Ney'nari’s memories and you left her alone, knowing she didn’t like to be seen in moments of fragility like that.
The dress felt like it was giving you warmth and strength, so you thought your request last night had been answered this way, 'a protection for the heart if I had seen Neteyam'. Now you were going to see it and you were squeezing into those fabrics that let you wear your sister’s warm embrace.
When you arrived at the Sullys' house, Neytiri greeted you with a kind hug, and then formally greeted you. She was charming, her clothes worthy of a Tsakarem, colorful and refined, while her body presented some paint marks that recalled the colors of the Omatikaya clan.
"Ma yawntutsyìp, you are wonderful. It seems that you have already taken your mother’s place" Neytiri’s gentle hands caressed your face, touch and sweet and warm.
"You are wonderful too, ma Tsakarem," you laughed slightly, noticing how her gaze fell on yours, reminding you that she wanted to be called by her name. "Ma Neytiri" this time she smiled, then called Tuktirey.
The little girl showed up with a deep bowl that contained white paint, mother and daughter accompanied you to Neteyam who was a bundle of nerves inside his tent. He stood with his back as his hands leaned on what appeared to be a table or shelf with some clothes on it that he should wear. Your hands trembled, just to see him from behind was taking your breath away
"Ma'itan, it’s time to get ready…" Neytiri politely said, as she had Tuk put the bowl on one of the furniture that were there, and then sent her to Jake to get ready. Neteyam turned around, ready to respond negatively to his mother, but remained silent when he saw you, enchanted.
Time seemed to slow, and your looks met, remaining enchanted by each other, it seemed like a lifetime ago since you saw those eyes for the last time. His eyes held a veil of sadness but there was something that made you realize that he was happy to see you but also sorry for something. Neytiri smiled as you reacted in that way, then quietly disappeared, leaving you two alone.
A thrill of excitement passed through your body. Your heart was beating faster and faster, as the butterflies in your stomach took flight creating a strange dance. You had the feeling that everything around you was fading, focusing only on him. As if the rest of Pandora is dissolving, leaving you two alone in an aura of magic and old promises.
The words got lost in your throat as you tried to breathe, to remember how to move and walk. Your senses are sharp, every detail of his face, his way of looking at you and moving seemed to have been eternally etched in your memory. His presence resonates within you, a sweet melody that makes every fiber of your being vibrate.
Your legs trembled as you approached him slowly, then carried a hand on your forehead and pointed out to greet him formally; the words intertwined in your mind as you tried to follow the plan you had studied so as not to fall back into his sweet trap.
"Sit down…" you whispered as you took the bowl that Tuk had left. Neteyam sat down and looked at you with so much adoration and nostalgia that for a second you almost thought that everything was back to the way it was. You felt a sense of déjà-vu as you sat in front of him, reminding you of the first time they had forced you to draw on his body for that distant holiday.
"You’re gorgeous…" Neteyam whispered in love, voicing his thoughts, watching you shuffle the paint inside the bowl with your fingers. At that moment all your defenses were dissolved, leaving room for a sense of vulnerability that overwhelmed you brutally. You felt like he opened a door in your heart, allowing all emotions to flow without restriction.
"Your partner is gorgeous." Your tone was slightly sad as you took the paint to begin the tribal blessing designs. The chemistry between you was palpable, and the mere encounter of looks seems to encompass a universe of meanings, which led you to look away from his cursed eyes.
"It doesn’t matter… It’s not her I’m looking at" he said without looking away from your face, while you drew the first line on his chest, feeling your fingers burning on him. At his words, you raised your eyes to meet his, for a moment you thought that nothing had changed and that you were still the same people who until a few months ago were kissing secretly in a shed, exchanging promises and talking about the future.
"You’ll see her soon, she’s very beautiful today, I saw her…" Your voice was nostalgic, you missed him so much. But talking about her was like eating a great dish, knowing it’d been poisoned.
"How are you?" he asked gently, changing the subject. His tone of voice was also evident in his nostalgia. He thought he was dreaming and that this was just a beautiful dream, shuddering at every touch accompanied by paint.
"Well, I'm fine… I’m preparing to become Olo'eykte and Tsahik… I’ll mate with Tul pey in four moons…" Your fingers did not stop working lines on his chest and shoulders, noticing with the corner of your eye his sad expression.
"Four moons…" he whispered, with disbelief and sadness "I-I’m glad you’re fine, ma Tanhi," you raised your face to hear that nickname you missed so much. Your eyes moved from his lips to his eyes, feeling that urge to kiss him and feel him again as yours.
"what about you? How are you?" Your voice was dying in your throat, you were kind of hoping he was sick today, just because he was gonna mate with Reyin'al.
"Nervous, I never thought I’d be here, on a day like this, to mate a woman I don’t feel like my own" he laughed nervously. "…It’s just… weird, that’s all."
You smiled softly at him, albeit with a slight tone of sadness, understanding where he was going. Your eyes passed through his entire body, following your fingers that traced lines and points on his torso and neck.
"Everything will be all right, the Great Mother looks up at you and protects you, ma 'Teyam" his face came up to yours and you felt his heart pounding wildly. Neteyam’s heart was beating faster and faster, He missed you so much, and he missed hearing you call him that.
"I would like the Great Mother to watch over me to follow this path with another woman." He sighed as his eyes pointed to your lips, "You… you don’t know how much I wanted to tell you before… That I’m sorry, for everything, Ma Tanhi. I-I swear. I should have told you about her, I was an skxawng"
A wave of heat enveloped you at those words, as your stomach filled with frantic butterflies dancing in a disorganized manner. Every breath became deeper and more difficult, as if just looking at him left you breathless. Your cheeks faded with a slight blush, while your thoughts falter between enthusiasm and uncertainty. A sweet and sudden feeling of lightness pervaded you, as if the chains of worry were melting.
The look you exchanged was full of contrasting emotions: passion and desire are intertwined with nostalgia and sadness of lost time. The air charged with an electrical voltage, a palpable energy that enveloped both of us after all that time. You could feel the presence of each other, the heat emanating from your bodies, as if there was an irresistible call that united you two. Your eyes attract like magnets, you peer each other, looking for clues and signs that confirm that everything you have shared in the past can still exist.
Each line of your faces bears the marks of the experiences you had experienced, but the sparks in your eyes reveal that the feelings you felt were still alive and present. The romantic tension and the weight of time spent were felt. Doubts and fears crept into your heart, like a cold wind caressing the flames. Old pains and past disappointments are scars that cannot be ignored. And so, in the midst of this dance of desire, you stood there, staring at his lips intensely, breathing suspended, while he did the same.
"I have to finish…" You said to then lay clean fingers on his chest, making him sit normally, while you continued to create drawings.
He looked at you enchanted, hoping that you understood how much he still craved you, not only carnally, he wanted all of you.
Your fingers began to draw lines and curves on his face, trying to resist the temptation to still taste his lips, and it was difficult because of his strong and sweet scent, but also because of the way his eyes burned with love on you.
The fear of suffering again, of putting at risk what was rebuilt after the separation, holds back your deepest instincts, you couldn’t give in right now.
"I missed you, ma Tanhi. Every night, every day, I missed you so much." He whispered, noticing the little distance between you, the tension became heavier and harder for both of you.
"Neteyam… you are going to make Tsaheylu with Reyin'al…" your fingers passed over his lips, making the last lines of the tribal blessing design.
"I don’t want Reyin'al" he said, brushing your fingers with his hand, smearing himself with paint while he couldn’t look away from you.
Before you could answer, Mo'at entered the room, and you instinctively walked away not to raise any suspicions.
"ma parultysip, are you finished?" asked old Tsakik, looking at you, and then smiling when you nodded.
"Yes, ma Tsahik." You stood up from the ground without looking at Neteyam, as you approached Tsahik to greet her formally. The woman puts a hand on your shoulder and dismisses you. For a second, before you left, you turned and your eyes met those of Neteyam who did not miss a single movement of yours.
A whirlwind of emotions erupted within you as memories of past love re-emerge in your mind. A mixture of happiness, excitement, and fear spreads through your body, making it difficult to control the visceral reactions that overwhelmed you. You sighed thinking how stupid you were, it was so clear you wanted him and you didn’t know if Neteyam really wanted you or was just playing.
Acquitted in your thoughts you clashed with Kiri, who held you from your arms to keep you from falling. "Hey. Y/n, but where’s your mind?" she asked, looking at you, checking if you were okay.
"Oh, I’m sorry, I’m just distracted." You said you’d pull yourself together and look at the girls in front of you.
"The ceremony starts soon, I know you don’t want to… but we have to go, it’s the other way. Follow me" Kiri took your hand and led you to the opposite side of the village, meeting again Neteyam who was to go with Mo'at from the opposite side to yours, he was dressed in traditional clothes that the Olo'eyktan wore before being recognized as such. You passed by, but your hands searched silently, stretching some fingers, as if they were attracted by a magnetic force, barely touched each other. You two felt the contact, light but full of meaning, that triggers electric shocks along the skin. It is as if an inner fire is burning within you, fueled by the memories of the past and the awareness that this moment could be the beginning of something new. And then let you go, you drag by Kiri and him to his grandmother.
When you arrived at the sacred place where all the clan and guests had already gathered, you sat in the second row, along with Kiri and Lo'ak, already seeing Reyin'al standing in front of the Tree of Souls. She looked at you defiantly, with the same eyes of those who were winning both the war and the battle, seeing you so close to the tree made her happy, because you would see that Neteyam had chosen her.
When Neteyam reached her you felt a squeeze in your heart and Lo'ak offered you his hand to shake if you needed it, remaining silent and respecting your pain. Every word of the Tsaheylu rite stabbed you in the heart, and with it you shook Lo'ak’s hand ever stronger.
"Oel ngati kameye, ma Neteyam," Reyin'al said as she took her braid very theatrically, glancing at you to make sure you saw it.
Neteyam remained silent for a few seconds, feeling the pressure on him and the look of Jake burning on his skin, hoping that he would do nothing foolish, while Neytiri hoped that her baby would become a man and follow his heart.
Neytiri understood that you and Neteyam had something similar to what she and Jake had had, she understood that since she first saw you together. In fact, she sent Lo'ak instead of Tsutey to check where you and Neteyam ended up that night in the shed.
A mother feels and understands her children even before they understand each other, so in the months when he had returned home, she did everything to help him and encourage him to follow his heart. After all, she was the one who raised her kids by telling them about her love story with Jake Sully.
Neytiri was shaking Jake’s hand while mentally encouraging his first son to make the right choice, and was slightly disappointed when she saw Neteyam take his braid. She was waiting for him to put it back, and then she saw you on the other side. You shook Lo'ak’s hand, grieving, while Kiri gently scratched your back.
Seen from the outside, no one would ever suspect that you were suffering, after all you were rigid and composed, but those little details didn’t escape her.

Notes II:
This is officially the penultimate chapter, it tears my heart. Anyway, I’m trying not to hate Reyin'al, but I can’t </3

Yyyyoo! Imagine if Tsu'tey was still alive in this AU/Yawnetu series and noticed the shit Jake and Neytiri does to the reader! Sure he might not be close to her on a personal level (unlike neytiri he might've stayed silent enough for y/n to explain her side of the story which lead to the event of his one and only beloved Sylwanin) , but he aside a few other's can understand the difference between right and wrong!
It would reinforce some distaste he has for Jake and cause him to feel very disappointed in neytiri for treating y/n and her future baby horribly. He knows grief is a nasty monster to face, but even in his standards what they are doing to her is wrong.
The shock and slight anger he'd feel tiwards Jake and Neytiri when they get possessive and jealous in their redemption arc when y/n FINALLY meets her future mate(s) who are genuinely good people like "you didn't bond or claim her properly before eywa, you didn't even treat her like she was your third mate! What in the great mother's name makes you think you have ANY right to act this way when she's finally able to heal mentally and feel truly loved?"
Y/n really just needs to know she's got people in her corner to support her.
Just me rambling sorry! Really love the story though, makes my nerves go crazy and makes my heart race just waiting to see what happens next 😅
Oh my god! If Tsu’tey was alive he would be so livid with jake and neytiri!
he would probably be close to reader through sylwanin and see reader as family and respect her, he would definitely stick up for her and physically fight jake because he’s treating his mate so horrible
Tsu’tey would definitely help reader throughout the pregnancy and make sure she’s well taken care of. if her mates won’t do it then he’ll step up.
when the babies are born he would be there throughout it all 🥲 he’s definitely shedding a few tears, especially when reader names them after his past lover. reader would make sure he knew he was uncle tsu’tey to them
when jake and neytiri start to change in the redemption ark tsu’tey would not be happy. why are they only changing now? why not before? it’s disgraceful. if reader wanted to leave omaticaya he would help her, maybe even go with her to protect her and his nephews. but if she chooses to go alone he’d respect it.
all in all, tsu’tey would be readers knight in shining armour and would definitely protect her and care for her unlike jake and neytiri 😤

A/n : these are some of my favourite writers on Tumblr at the moment, there are many more but I'm keeping it short, I'll probably tag them here after a while 🥹 because they need recognition as well ❤️‍🩹

Hihi, what are we looking forward to for the next post? Is it gonna be one of those requests or yawnetu series?
i want to finish what’s in my drafts/some requests before posting more of yawnetu, but i’m having trouble picking what to do

i’m getting tons of messages in my messages from people who just ask to be tagged in yawnetu. but isn’t that what my inbox is for 🙅🏻‍♀️
no hate whatsoever but i don’t rly want my text messages to be spammed by people who JUST ask to be mentioned in my series
if you have anything else to say, great! but usually private chats are for an actual convo 💀
i get people also wanna be anonymous, but i don’t always post the asks that people say, i read them ALWAYS. but if you don’t wanna be posted then just make sure to mention that!
otherwise i’m gonna have to stop my messages completely, which totally sucks

i swear to god, if people keep asking for more yawnetu series or rushing you to relase new updates im gonna lose my mind and i feel so sorry for you and LIKE STOP RUSHING SUNANDSTARS PLEASE. AND HAVE PATIENCE FFS💀✋
HAHA THANK YOU 💀
i swear all people do sometimes is just come onto tumblr and beg others to write their work, forgetting we have our own lives outside of social media. i think we should all have a day where we just don’t go on our phones, maybe it’ll do us good 💀 (jk i love my phone too much)
yawnetu takes time to write i gotta actually use my brain now to think what to write next, usually when i write a story i start and finish in an hour or so and post it bc i’m amazing, but now i got this series to do and actually have to use brain cells 🙄 plus all the other stories i have to complete
