I think Acaras r nearly perfect design wise so I didn't change much!! I made their horns a little longer and I made their paws flatter and webbed in a similar shape to a coot's feet. I also separated their ears and made them larger and more finlike to push the aquatic aspect of their design further! I basically just dipped my toes into spec bio creature design for this & plan to continue doing that for every subsequent pet design.

I also drew a little height comparison because I want to adjust some of the neopets' avg heights (primarily Flotsam and Jetsam-- how are they just little guys!! I thought they were dolphin sized!!)

Height comparison with Iris as a neopets faerie lol! His title would be the Zoologist Faerie. He likes to study pets and petpets and petpetpets but doesn't own one himself cuz he thinks it's too much responsibility. He is also transgender because I'm pretty sure the Faeries are biologically asexual? So they're canonically all women but Iris is a special boy because I felt like he should be LOL. Idk what the Faeries think of transgenderism but I imagine they r supportive (if not slightly confused)?

Hello, everyone! I know that this is very sudden, but I PLEASE urge you to read this of a certain user here on tumblr. This has been bothering me and kinda triggering for a while, so this needs to be said. I also went and did my first try on using image descriptions in ALT for the images I am about to show you so I tried my best.

During Pride Month a while ago, I posted one of my headcanons that features one of the characters, Millie from Helluva Boss, to be a heteroromantic sex-positive asexual woman. Though, as the post was there, it has caught attention to a tumblr user, @/starry-cow, and they replied to this:

Listen, I respect those who have different opinions on a character they like, but if you're going to be disrespectful, then just don't say it(?). So I went and replied to try and defend my headcanon; please note that when I was trying to define being sex-positive, I might've worded incorrectly a bit so I apologize.

If you know me, you would probably know that I am demisexual, which is a label under the ace umbrella. I am also under the aro umbrella, making me aroace. Plus I'm a nonbinary trans boy who is polyamorous with my attraction towards women/fem-aligned|presenting individuals is queer. Though, not everyone thinks that as they replied once again:

This is VERY outdated, and it invalidates me as an ace-spec person who is both sex-positive and sex-favorable. I have talked to another aro/ace person about this and it (<- one of zer pronouns) said that this was merely more then talking over to someone who is ace and saying that every asexual/ace-spec person is indifferent. Not to mention that they brought up exclus saying that "lesbians can't date men" when there are masc-aligned/presenting/multigendered individuals who use that label. I find it ironic that they brought up on how lesbians cannot be attracted to men when in, my headcanon post, it included of Blitzø being a pan gay (being both pansexual AND gay). So I also replied once more. Trying to educate them along with asking if they were asexual as well.

I am a transgender boy whose considered to be multigender and also at the same time not--my attraction to women is both straight AND queer. Even though my attraction is equivalent to me being a transhet, I still identify with the lesbian label because I still have ties with it and don't want to let go of the label itself and consider myself multi-spec because of my attraction to nonbinary people and also my platonic relationship with binary/cisgender men. And it was also my confirmation that the person is not asexual (greatly assuming allosexual) because they avoided my question on if they're ace or not.

I refused to respond, and afterwards they post this on their account because I was checking if they mentioned they were ace.

This is very bigoted in many ways. While they say that they support he/him lesbians, but yet they do not support masc/men-aligned + presenting lesbians. Because there ARE lesbians who look like men and/or are men. I am one of them; I am a futch, butch-leaning masc-alinged/presenting transfemasc enby boy. I blocked them. And after getting curious, I found that they replied to an anon ask:

They have openly admitted on not caring if they are a queer exclusionist along with using outdated terms that were ALSO used by exclusionists/TERFs. The replies are not there anymore because after I blocked them, the replies disappeared so I am glad to screenshot them.

On other notes, I should've said in the beginning that the person goes by the name of Beth and uses they/them pronouns. I have looked at their bio and pinned post and there was nothing said about them being ace. I am sick and tired of people making me feel bad because I am ace-spec and sex-positive along with my gender and how it affects my attraction and labels being "problematic/can't exist" when they have been around since forever.

My mom actually reminded me of this week which is quite wholesome. Since GLADD is celebrating trans awareness as well as TDOR this year, I wanted to do one of my fav things and talk about books. This post is about my fav trans books so if you are in the mood for a new read I hope this helps. :) 

All Time Favorite: 

Dreadnought (and it’s sequel) has not only the own voices quality when it comes to trans representation being included, but the plot is too intertwined with the experiences of being trans and being a part of -- or pushed -- out of a superhero community. 

Runner Up:

If I Was Your Girl is the winner of a Stonewall Book Award and several others. This contemporary book has a lot of heart, and while I don’t remember it’s plot as in detail as the last I remember feeling like it was a gift in a way. Insight to a very ‘less complicated’ (as I believe the author says in the back) trans experience I do not share. This book probably has the only acknowledgments that I remember that are incredibly important to include because they take that ‘less complicated’ narrative and reminds us that non-fictional people are so much more complicated and diverse.  

Mixed Format Honorable Mentions: 

Did you know in Watch Dogs Legion you can just find trans aces walking around doing their own things until you ask them to fight against a police state? Watch Dogs Legion’s representation is at one level very throw away text based and at another level an innovative clever choose your own adventure hero experience. I just get this little spark of joy when I see a random character and the bio is like ‘Had Gender Affirming Operation’, “Looked for Trans Friendly Therapy” or “Purchased a They/Them Pin”. It’s not Ubisoft’s first trans character but the random endless amount of trans playable/non-playable characters in WD:L reminds me how just anyone can be trans and that’s beautiful to me. 

There’s also Chameleon Moon by RoAnna Sylver and my books that both always seem to include ace and transgender characters if not trans ace character within them all. There’s Unburied Fables which is a-spec focused charity anthology with several fairytale retelling that are about trans characters. And I wish more of Anne Chivon’s poetry was in print so I could show you really kick ass nonbinary poems too.

That fact that big and small trans awareness efforts are being done across the media landscape (including emoji now) makes me so hopeful that people will hopefully someday soon stop pretending that there’s not enough of us to matter.

Did you know the creator of the transgender flag Monica Helms also wrote novels? I haven’t read any of them, I just think that’s so cool and fantastic. I think I haven’t read them because nothing will top the listed reasoning for making the trans flag’s stripes mirrored so that no matter how you fly it the flag is still right symbolizing that there is no one way to be trans. Sorry for the longer post than planned but say can I say -- Trans is beautiful.

found a room in a duplex in the city for fairly cheap. something like 540 a month. utilities included in that number. it will be a little hard going back to having no money all the time again, but god do i need to get out of here.

the people there seem... whatever, they seem fine. no obnoxious harry potter houses in their bios, nothing about them having frequent loud, obnoxious sex. although honestly... im desperate, i could probably handle some amount of loud obnoxious sex noises.

theres three of them. all seem to be white, tme nonbinary people. this could be a point of contention given that i am a tranny, and sometimes tme nonbinary people can be, lets say, more biased then they would deign to admit, about transgender women. but i dont know that for certain.

theyre a little, like, social justicey?? i mean, i guess i am too. but i've kind of mellowed a little and i try to keep it sweet, most of the time, unless the situation really calls for vitriol. and i guess i am worried that they might be more confrontational, even about small things. but again i do not know for certain. its just sort of a vibe, and my vibe detector is not always up to spec. also, again just a stupid nitpick, but it kind of strikes me as a little bit off, that a house of three white people would include in their ad, "We will prioritize BIPOC." it seems maybe a bit performative. but what do i know?

im going to send them a little blurb i threw together. it feels humiliating doing so, and having to admit that yes, i am asking to be your roommate while being neither in employment or education. but ultimately who the fuck cares. if they think thats funny and dont want me to be their roommate, ill probably never have to actually see them again.

before anything else - it's absolutely fine to not have a stable label or even no label at all. if figuring it out gives you anguish and nothing positive in return, it's totally fine to postpone it or drop it. and if concrete answers are what you need then i hope you find them!

now, i usually identify as just a gay trans man. my gender and "sexuality" are somewhat tied, i figured out i was transgender partly because i wanted to date men but it felt horrible being someone's girlfriend. my masculinity is 100% queer and gay, it's soft, it's feminine, it's loving men, it's being the oldest brother and the oldest daughter.

i love and adore men and eh, you could say i want to be intimate with them, but also not at all. i feel no sexual attraction, just aesthetic one, but i have a libido and at the same time i can't imagine needing someone else beside me to satiate it. i love men in the grandiose way, the ocean waves way, but i've never been in love and can't imagine actually falling in love with someone or spending a life with a partner. i am a hopeless romantic so i fantasise about a feeling of being in love when i read poetry, listen to music, make art, but i don't feel the need to make it a tangible reality for myself. there are microlabels for that, i believe, but i don't feel the need for them myself. when it's relevant to the conversation, aroace spec suits me just fine. all i know is that i'm never attracted to women in any way.

As long as there’s credit to us for the gif/s and you don’t apply to our dni, you’re free to!

“How can I credit you?”

There’s a few ways! Such as

- Including the credit in the post and/or under the cut (this is the best way people can access the original post and see the credit!

- Include the credit in the post’s captions

- Include the credit in the tags

- Include a link in the post to another post that has the credits in it

- Saying you got the gif/s from us in the post

“What are bad/wrong ways to ”“credit”“ you?”

- Saying “I don’t own these gifs”

- Saying “credit to the original owner(s)/gifmaker(s)

- Straight up not saying you took these gifs from people/including in no credits

- Claiming the gif/s are yours/you made them

If I see any of these I WILL publicly call you out on it and you WILL be blocked immediately thereafter. That block will not be lifted.

There can be a number of reasons why you’re blocked, and I’m not afraid to block people as I want this place comfortable and safe for the mods and followers. So there’s several reasons as to why.

- You apply to our DNI (see BYF)

- You’re a (insert harmless children’s cartoon) critical blog (I tend to block those due to them saying LGBT+phobic things)

- You get into kin drama

- You’re an ace discourse, pan discourse, bi discourse, and/or overall REG discourse blog (this does not mean I block inherently block discourse blogs! I block the shitty ones)

- You’re a spam/porn/etc bot (if I’ve gotten this wrong, lemme know! I tend to block shady and empty blogs for this reason unless their desc/url/etc says it’s empty/weird for a reason)

- You’re a blog that frequently posts/centers around one or more of my triggers

- You’re an aesthetic blog (though I tend to soft block for them. But this is NOT an aesthetic blog and stimmy is NOT an aesthetic)

- You’re an “anyone can interact” stim blog

- You’re a stim blog that steals/doesn’t credit the gifs they use

- I feel you and I are going to argue and I’m just saving us the trouble of future unpleasant encounter/s

- You’ve been shitty to my friends or just been shitty to people in general and I’ve noticed it

HOWEVER I’ve made slip ups in the past! If you feel you don’t apply to any of these, you can contact me through my main and ask why. Sometimes I don’t always remember why I blocked somebody (sadly there’s a lot of shitheads on this site I’ve needed to block) or I’ve confused one blog for another person’s blog.
