i find it kind of unrealistic to just be able to get out of that hole. he would be going through two different types of withdrawal and his ex kinda broke his heart again

ashley: for such a sweet girl you’d be surprised at the fact she has a lot of sacrificial mods..what do you need them for?????? she still has her cute little family households of course but why do you have THREE serial killer sims. tbf they’re some of her ocs so it makes sense!! she loves making her ocs and making them have cute little happy domestic family lives…but also. so many strip clubs ashley we get you wanna look at virtual boobs LMFAOOOO we know all the animations you have downloaded yeah..it’s okay no shame in it girl ✊ ash doesn’t like playing around other people though she would rather not flash them….

chris: dedicates his time to breaking and exploiting the game…the ways this man thinks of ways to get a million simoleons you would think this man is el0n reincarnated no LOLLL even he’s got to step back sometimes and be like “this is a little fucked. oh well” and goes back to trapping pregnant sims in the pool and forcing them to constantly spawn cradles outside because they’re immortal and stuck in a constant birth loop. it’s entertaining as hell though i can’t blame him hours absolutely fly by when he’s breaking the game, half the time he’s just on call with his friends and sometimes sharing his screen so they can watch the horrors

emily: spends HOURS in cas. don’t ask how much cc she has on her computer. she stopped checking long ago. barely ever plays in live mode or build mode but always has the most EXQUISITE JAW-DROPPINGGGG sims. like wow i didn’t even know pixels could look this good. she’s made over all the townies and loves to make more…and they all manage to look unique in their own way she does NOT struggle with same face syndrome. em has made herself and the sim version of mike fight and she killed him LOLLL she used to do that with all the people she didn’t get along but now that she’s made up with a good majority of them they’re good friends in the game now..how cordial!!

jess: build mode GODDD oh my gosh she does not play around like that. you’d think her dream was to be an architect or interior designer the way she plays. she managed to rebuild the washington lodge amazingly!! it took her awhile to get the confidence to go back up there but she took her reference photos and got back..it took her a few weeks but she did it!! that’s her biggest achievement so far but she also just generally makes super nice houses!! like girl if you don’t use your talents in the real world NOW!!! we need you jess please save us from these ugly modern homes..babygirl..babygirl please…she hates modern homes. some of her favorite styles are gothic revival and mediterranean ^^

josh: he sometimes uses it to cope with his sisters deaths…he has a save file with them and him and he spends a lot of nights making them all a happy family with no worries 💔 usually he gets real sad after and doesn’t touch it for a few weeks….but then his next save is his mafia kingpin drug dealing multi millionaire who is the king of willow creek and has 80 girlfriends LOL josh what a life you’re making your sims live..either that or making the most old pathetic senile men do crazy stuff WHYYYYY is that man a stripper he’s about to die in one day LMAOOOO he occasionally uses the sims as inspiration for his short films funny enough!! maybe not the mafia one. or the um. other one. i’m sure him and chris would be down to poorly recreate it and laugh at it though

matt: has the WORST luck when playing…his guy somehow always manages to get caught on fire, drown, get into fights, get abducted by aliens, get stuff repossessed, all the bad things you can think happened in the sims has happened to him. tbf he doesn’t really know how to play so that doesn’t help LMAO he makes sure to save constantly at least!!! matt does his best to keep a happy family though even if it means doing a little money chest here and there ahem..kaching…motherlode…it’s not cheating if it’s for the better. that’s what he says. so it’s not wrong. matt also loves making the moms knit for the kids too i just think he sometimes wants to take knitting ideas from the game so he uses the moms to do so..

mike: his sims are always so ROWDY and WILD wdym your sims are bad as hell. and not in the good way. homewreckers, leaving toddlers homeless and constantly getting into fights and having the whole neighborhood hate you like mike 😭😭 not his sim self though. no that man GRINDED for WEEKS to max out all his skills and become the prime minister. and also have like 50 friends and an amazing romantic partner and be a multimillionaire all while being dashingly handsome…just like himself in real life, no?!? nah he knows that’s not true but doesn’t mean he can’t wish!! but yeah if it’s not himself in the sims they’re all such objectively bad people LMAOO we need to take away the extreme violence mod from him..

sam: always cheats to make the animals constantly in a good mood and never age bc she can’t let them die that would be wrong…sam loves making super long family lineages though like one of her favorites is her royal family of canada one..not the most realistic duh but it’s a silly little hobby of hers she’s had since she was a kid!!! there’s always an ominous graveyard outside the house with all the ancestors though. just a bit creepy. anytime she sees a ghost she sends it back to the spirit realm she will NOT have them roaming around!!! sometimes she just moves them onto another lot bc she’s trying to deal with 8 sims at once and well it gets a bit distracting having random furniture start floating when 3 of your sims are about to accidentally starve

You lean over the countertop and scrummage around for one that is in decent edition, when a calloused hand snaps to your shoulder.

he thinks she is very independent and rather prefers to keep to herself! he might admire how she doesn’t have to rely on anyone and doesn’t mind working hard for what she wants to achieve even if it might be hard at times.

this man does not like her I am so sorry. he could possibly be uncomfortable by her personality and how straightforward she can be. especially with sexual jokes? not that he would mind if they were close, but the thing is they are not close but jessi is very comfortable regardless. he looks at her as someone who doesn’t work too much, yet still does too much. will he cause awkward situations on purpose? absolutely not, but he will be judging on the inside.

so much to say here, but I will keep it as short as I possibly can. (for my mental sanity.) he does think she is a person that should change, and that she didn’t go through as much struggles as people think she did. he might be cautious around her and be protective of his friends who like her a bit too much. not controlling, but he definitely doesn’t see her as someone people should be too close with.

it’s not that he hates her but he would get along with her better if there would be a few things about her personality that are just different. he might think she acts too much from her ego and wishes for that to change so she is more pleasant to be around.

he actually sees all the hate that she is getting, and finds it cool that despite all that she still gets to earn money. he might wish to also be that kind of person, someone who can get by easily and doesn’t care about what people around him have to say but just does whatever he feels like doing.

do you know the saying of ‘hating like a man’? well wooyoung thinks jessi flirts like a man,, I don’t think he is uncomfortable by her or hates / dislikes her but he might think her approaches are funny, especially at times where she fails. he thinks of her personality as very dominant / masculine.

I think he is a person that gets very uncomfortable by her and her attempts to sexualise a lot of stuff. he prefers keeping a distance from her without being too rude in order to avoid interactions as much as possible. there seems to be some sort of huge dislike towards the way she behaves in general, so he doesn’t really get what makes people attracted to her.

If you are a Jessi fan I am so sorry I thought this will be much more friendly!!! It stared out so well but it all went downhill from there 💔💔💔

Doodled a bronze age Xanthos to go with my bronze age AZ from a little ago ^.^ people who hadn't met them before would often mistake Xanthos for being the older brother, and later would mistake Xanthos for being the king 😭

When Xanthos and AZ were kids they often went exploring together... Xanthos was always a bit more reckless than AZ, which unfortunately led to the event that damaged AZ's leg and gave him his limp; he kinda had to shove Xan out of the way so he wouldn't be killed in a rock slide 😭 AZ never blamed Xan for his injuries... but Xan blamed himself. It changed the way he interacted with AZ- he decided that he no longer wished to depend on his brother lest he end up getting hurt again. He started taking on a lot of the roles that you may associate with an older sibling, and he became a lot more independent too... but it was to the point that he struggles to ask for help even now.

(also: Xan became jealous of Floette during this time 💔 when AZ was recovering from his injury she stayed with him pretty much the entire time, and was able to help him in a way Xan couldn't. I'll talk about Xan and Floette's Complicated Sibling Relationship some other time though!)

This also led to Xan becoming Very overprotective and hypervigilant, to the point where he treated AZ as if he was entirely incompetent. That's something dangerous to do with someone as smart as AZ is! It annoyed AZ too, of course. It's part of why he started to ignore Xanthos later on... always acting as if he knew what was best, and not allowing AZ to forge his own path. Even if Xan's demands were reasonable... it was all tainted by his pushiness.

A lot of their problems with one another could've been solved if they'd just talked to each other 😭 unfortunately by the time they actually did it was when they were both So Angry and Frustrated with one another that it just came pouring out in the worst possible way.

A fun fact: Xan got Immortality not while the Ultimate Weapon was in "life-giving" mode but while it was in "destruction" mode, so it affected him a bit differently from how it affected AZ or Floette. He has some health issues, most notably chronic migraines and a weak immune system. Being immortal doesn't stop people from falling ill 💔

You know in "Millennium Actress" where Chiyoko is playing in a film where an old woman tricks her into drinking an elixir of immortality. And when the old woman is asked why she did it she says something like "Because I hate you... more than I can bear! And yet, I love you... more than I can bear!" they're like that 😔

Okay, so I did some fact-checking and learned that Sky, Legend, and Time all experience prophetic dreams. Although it should be noted that those dreams are only usually about Zelda and the bad guy. Probably so that they don't give away the entirety of the plot.

Side Note: Apparently Wild can have prophetic dreams about horses under specific conditions or something, but he's not really on the list because that's weird and not exactly helpful for Sky Angst.

Anyway, I'm going to take advantage of this and try to figure out a way for Time and Legend to bond over the horrific experience of trying to prevent Sky from dying in the future because I can.

I ended up adding a new document to my WIPS folder, so here you go. In exchange for listening to me plot out how I'm going to torture these guys, I've got a snippet.

There was a sharp crack of thunder and a bolt of lightning cut across the horizon viciously. He couldn’t get quite enough air into his lungs, and what he did manage to breathe in was half water, choking him as he spluttered and tried to spit it out. There wasn’t time to take a moment and calm his heart, though, because a large and imposing figure loomed in front of him, a massive steed with armor glinting in the night. Another bolt of lightning struck a nearby tree, and he almost choked for a second time when he recognized the face of the man before him. Ganondorf. The Gerudo king raised a sword threateningly as he struggled to lift his sword arm, only to realize that the hand had been mangled in the handle of a shield and his other arm was broken in more places than one. A weak sound of fear slipped past his lips as the sword came down, the ravenous cold that had been in his body suddenly being driven out by the explosion of hot pain and blood that burst from his chest—

Oooh yeah, limiting prophetic dreams to Zelda and the bad guy was probably necessary for protecting plot. And go crazy dude that sounds awesome >:)

though im also critical of it, ragnarok is one of my favs especially cus it endeared me with brodinson interactions (shoutout elevator scene) but after that, i didnt like future loki portrayals. it somewhat flipped loki's aspirations, although i liked how he really seemed a god of mischief i wished for more digging into that. if i said "country boys make do" and did what what i could, then i look at loki betraying thor once more as his warped way of saying "we've come to deeper understanding of e/o more and idk how to be your brother but i want to, this is all i know." (i imagine his ass is that type in fights "IDC! LEAVE! *wants them to stay* i feel frigga was the only person who saw that in him growing up and was there).

coulson did say to him "you lack conviction"; loki's always kind of struggling with himself to find his genuine purpose whether w/ being a king or a brother.

after that though i didnt care for loki they just took his popularized character traits and made him shout them out every second "hehe thats just what loki does!" and things i wanted delved into weren't addressed, or when they were it was poorly. i only seen season 1 but its loki content i just distance from

personally, i liked loki's personality shining in ragnarok. but like this time tom hiddleston said "loki should be an entertaining character but also that there should be a shred of truth" thats how i feel. about all future loki. i think they saw the numbers that loki did in ragnarok, and then on fucked up portraying him, and his depth

personally, during my initial mcu watch, i did actually kind of enjoy ragnarok. although i did realize it’s issues such as pretty much everyone’s characterization (but especially loki’s), the way odin’s death was… Not as serious as it should’ve been, the way everything was too Haha funny joke, korg, the racist thor/bruce joke (which i will actually make a post about eventually), etc…

i did think it was a fun movie. it wasn’t until i rewatched it for a second time, after rewatching the thor movies/avengers 2012 that i realized.. yeah, this isn’t really that good and the earlier movies featuring thor, loki, or asgardians in general really were better.

personally, i prefer the humorous side of loki’s personality more in the dark world over the one in ragnarok. he was being funny and joking around, but it didn’t feel forced. it still felt like loki. in ragnarok, to me at least, it felt very forced and off for loki’s character. in the dark world, they didn’t necessarily have to belittle loki’s character and make him the laughing stock of the movie to make him funny. in ragnarok, they did.

and of course we see that continue a thousand times worse in the s*ries.

you are so right about the popularized character traits point. it’s like when people gossip about something, and as the word gets out to more people, it loses context and only leaves the very basic details of the gossip in the first place. that’s what they did with loki, pretty much. but that a thousand times over if this analogy even makes sense.

honestly do not even bother watching season 2 if you already know about the ending. i actually do think it was a little better than the first season. it was a little more interesting as well. but loki’s characterization was still HORRIFIC. there’s this interrogation type scene with one of the newer characters, this guy who works at the tva, and i guess they tried to make loki seem as though he’s still mischievous and working on his own accord instead of a goody two-shoes, pushover or whatever. idk man. whatever it was, it didn’t work.

and also they put this scene where he’s basically crying over mobius and various other tva workers to sylvie saying that he misses his friends (the friends in question being mobius and the most random tva workers ever) ??? 😭😭😭 i really do not believe that his ass was that devastated over these random ass characters who did not care about him…

basically, his personality was still more that of a silly little english man (not in a good way, trust me.) who works in a cubicle rather than a literal god/prince who speaks very eloquently and in old english. (taking this as an opportunity to say that i miss the old english/shakespeare in the park-esque way he and thor used to speak 😔 it was so fun.)

•If that last one doesn't make sense, I'll elaborate on how I see his mental state and motivations personally and maybe it will help. For me Kefka's obsession with destruction and the absurd concept of ending EXISTENCE as a whole is indicative of an obsessive grasping for control.

Maybe the surface level of his character doesn't indicate a desire for control, but I think stealing more and more power until he's drained and obliterated an entire civilization, then stealing it from literal gods regardless of the cost, and then sitting shut up in a tower nuking anyone who dares to maybe have hope or speak out against him absolutely does. So does the whole megalomania theme in and of itself.

And y'know, the whole mind controlling Terra thing does too, since if control wasn't a motivator for him, only destruction for the sake of it, he'd let Terra run amok I think.

The poisoning at Doma kinda reeks of it for me too, it shows not only his lack of impulse control and lack of value for human life but also a secret third thing no one talks about which is how everything has to happen when he wants, in the way he wants it to. Even if he has to sneak behind other's backs and get himself in trouble to achieve that.

So to me, I think that among other motivations, he knows the only way he can control everything is to destroy it. He's pissed when he gives his little monologue and the main party disagrees, he can't convince them away from their reasons that life is worth living to them. So he'll destroy them all, so that no one will be left to resist him or call him down.

Aaaand drawing that all back in , you see a lot of people with hoarding disorders who have struggled a lot in a hectic, unpleasant life and a subconscious need for something you can control and take comfort in is filled by stuff. (Gee , ask me how -I- know)

This is the cruelest ask I've ever gotten.💔 How dare.

It should be clear by now that I'm partial to the MacLeods, especially their class struggles. Their lives were so bleak when they lived them. Rowena was left in a puddle of her own blood after giving birth. Crowley was tricked in an alleyway for his sexual insecurities and then tortured in Hell.

Like rats, they both kept fighting until they were temporary, tenuous Kings and/or Queens of the vermin. But even once they'd secured their respective thrones, everyone was dying to pledge allegiance to the "True Royalty" instead (Heaven, angels, princes of Hell, etc). We saw that even Rowena was struggling with insurrection in season 15!

And the tragedy is that when they choose ambition at the expense of everything else, they're doomed to lose, and that rocks my socks! It's a losing battle that burned Crowley out, and it's going to burn Rowena out, too. It's that old threat of nihilism that looms on the horizon, isn't it? The thing is, they're both deeply insecure and flitting from one strong protector to the next, barking loudly and pathetically posturing to cover up their own weakness. It's awesome. More than anyone else, they're both shown to want attack dogs, and their great mutual irony is that they consistently go after dangerous protectors that they cannot actually mold or subdue, no matter how much barbed innuendo or strongman-words they fling at them.

I think of Metatron's taunting to Hannah, that she wants someone, "Large and in charge." I think of Crowley going after Lucifer in season 12 in order to have, "A nuke in his pocket." You can't have something that powerful and also expect it to be an obedient automaton. You just can't. No matter how much you manipulate it.

Anyway, they consistently pick battles that they cannot win and bite off more than they can chew. When it comes to relationships, they'll sometimes posture, but also sometimes woobify themselves to try to cozy up to anyone who will tolerate them. Anyone.

I like Eileen. Eileen has the bones in her to be just as interesting as other mainstay SPN characters, and Shosannah is a superior actor of the highest quality, and she's one of the most athletic-looking hunters onscreen. (That lady is fast!)

That said, even her Hell arc is slept on, and how can a Hell arc be boring? It's boring because she didn't get to make enough mistakes. Eileen became interesting in season 12 when she accidentally shot a human and despaired over that mistake. She became interesting when she admitted to having major trust issues and a toxic mentor.

But the most interesting thing Eileen ever did was walk out of the bunker after her Chuck-induced existential crisis.

ON the whole, I need her to break Sam's heart a few more times in the sequel-I'm-going-to-sell-my-soul-for in order to place her in the Hall of Fame where she belongs. I need the scrumptious disillusionment and the complicated business of coming together as an imperfect partnership, that thing beyond the initial mooney phase of Charming-Acres-coded Margaritas.

To me, the fascinating thing about Eileen is that Eileen's bodily communication style stifles Sam's tendency to verbal vomit/overanalyze, and as a result, he opens up to her like a starved flower. It's a consistent opening, not just in regards to hunting and trauma, on a scale he does not do for other characters. They're dorky together. They cook together. That's so interesting to me! (Which is why I desperately need them to Break Each Other's Hearts and Disappoint Each Other and Disagree on Things.)

I want Sam to finally understand how uniquely difficult it can be when a spousal lover lets you down (he knows how it feels when family does it). I also want sequel!Sam to see how tough it is to strike that whole parental balance of safety versus independence with Dean Jr. It keeps me awake. I Think About It.

Fates was my first FE in 3Ds and I've replayed it a lot, so unfortunately I got attached, sorry, more thoughts to the air because I'm not putting this on the tags but...

What also bothers me is the huge contrast between Queen Hinoka (Conquest ending) and King Leo (Birthright ending).

First of all, it's kinda interesting because we lowkey have sexism vs prejudice awaiting these two. But even then Hinoka still has a way easier time ahead of her as a ruler than Leo does.

Hinoka is seem to be incredibly uncomfortable about becoming queen because it was never supposed to be her. The men were first in line, Ryoma as the crown prince, and should something happen to him, then Takumi, despite Hinoka being older. But being as both of them died, then she has to take over, which she has NO IDEA how to do. It's weird that she wasn't meant to be in line after Ryoma considering that they already had a queen at the time? Why was she not eligible? What's up with Hoshido? It feels like women only rule if all the available men are dead, but I guess Hinoka gets Mikoto as a precedent so she's not gonna have too bad of a time.

(Plus she's inheriting a kingdom that's, despite it all, still thriving, soooo...)

Leo, on the other hand, inherits the throne because Camilla declined it. She was meant to be the queen if Xander died, but as we also see in her Conquest ending, she was never planning to stick around, and given that two of her siblings died here... well, she probably can't even bear to stay. I suspect she only stayed as long as she did because she was protecting her siblings from their father (the fact they all have to protect each other from Garon to the point Xander is terrified in the CD drama when Leo messes up is haunting too, points for most traumatized royals around). In any case, Leo ascends to the throne.

What gets me here is the whole bonus plot with Forrest if you marry off Leo in your playthrough. Nightmare deeprealm babies. But in any case, while Leo seems quite judgmental (his shitty dad arc 💔 my boy did not escape the cycle) of Forrest's feminine sense of style, it seems like part of it comes from him knowing Forrest is going to be mocked and ridiculed for it, not so much that he, personally, minds. Which is really interesting considering Leo is NOT the most masculine prince around, with his little headband, and with how characters sometimes remark on his delicate facial features.

It does not bode well for him as a king when it comes to earning respect. Man, I even remember watching a video of someone who analyzed the art of the cypher cards, and when looking at Leo's King of Nohr's card, he commented on how his pose was quite femenine.

Leo KNOWS how to play the game, he's lived in Nohr his whole life, but he's inheriting a kingdom that was already empoverished and has just gotten ravaged by war. The king, the advisor (good riddance) and two of the royal siblings are dead, plus one leaving him behind. He's SO alone and having to take on that huge task and then seeing his sibling that betrayed them just thriving in Hoshido, while possibly struggling to even earn respect because of his image and the fact it was his father that was in charge when everything got ruined.

It's so messed up!!!

Frankly, when he says he has many plans for Nohr, I can never stop thinking he's so playing the long game. Don't let the petty 18 yo filled with grief in charge. He's a strategist too, I can imagine him truly playing the long game to get revenge because the situation he was left in is SHIT, and Corrin is lowkey like "haha, glad we can all be friends (:"

so basically in this au ralsei isn't the prince of the dark, he's just some kid (part boss monster part shadow monster). i already explained how he ended up in the adoption center here. that's basically the premise 0_0

susie and him are close buddies because they were in the same adoption center and susie became protective over him because the other kids made fun of him. over time they became like siblings so they never managed to get adopted because they didn't want to go if they couldn't go together, and since they were very different species there weren't any parents who were able to take care of both. so eventually they just ran away and are now living in hometown.

they've been in hometown for two years (currently they're both 16) so they aren't that new............ they're not really friends with anyone but That's Subject To Change.

(they live in one of the apartments in the complex, the landlord let them stay because people just Didn't move to hometown anymore. they just help them clean and go grocery shopping for them (i still have to decide who the landlord is lol) in exchange for the house. also as soon as they got old enough they started doing little jobs (susie helps at 'sans, ralsei helps at the flower king) so they're "basically fine" (no they're not))
