[Video Description: Portrait video of Atticus dressed in cosplay, specifically Dracula from Hylics and Biker from Hotline Miami, as it shows off Cosgears Cosplay Planner App. Screen recordings of the app are also often used, showing off certain sections as they are brought up. Lo-fi music plays in the background. /End VD.]
Oh yeah I got hash tag sponsored to share about this app I use alot :0 Gettin paid to share this but tis all my own words and thoughts and experiences.
Aforementioned link since Tumblr doesnt work like Insta and I primarily made this for Insta lmao
Transcript and additional description details of the video under the cut!
Cosplayers! What are your methods for tracking and planning your cosplays? Notes app? Notebook? Spreadsheet? Your brain? (How do you manage?) If I may propose another tool, Cosgear's cosplay planner!
[Dracula cosplay pops up, poses to emphasize curiosity and then demonstrates examples.]
This website and app have been in development for around a year, and I've been using it just as long. Its honestly my favorite way to organize my processes. You've got a section for your basics, like the character, series, budget, and deadline, and of course a place to put your tasks like what to buy and what to make. I love that the tasks can be organized by what part of the cosplay it pertains to, like weapon or helmet or pants, whatever you want! Theres also a nifty view for just the things you need to buy, ideal for shopping trips so your list is all in one place.
[Dracula scrolling the app, some screen recordings as well.]
I've been using this app to help me work on Biker from Hotline Miami. Being able to go step by step through each piece has been so satisfying, and I can store progress photos in the app as evidence of my work if I were to ever do a cosplay contest! (Which I might be we'll see)
[Teaser of Biker cosplay from the back, shows off specifically stuff with Biker in app.]
Another fun thing you can do with those progress photos? Theres a built-in social media feed where you can post your progress, including sharing your techniques and materials! Progress photos on Instagram can be hit or miss for engagement, but in a place built around progress, it makes sense to have, and I've found some real neat work!
[Scrolls personal work in progress posts.]
On your profile, each cosplay has a page, where again you can add materials and techniques, as well as share links and even your shopping list. Good cosplayers don't gatekeep!
[Cosplay page for Biker, shows mentioned features.]
Or if you don't want to mess with any of that social media stuff? Totally fine, it's all optional. Cosplays can be made private, the Planner is your landing page, and hype can be hidden.
[Scroll profile and cosplays, shows hype hide setting.]
Final thing, this tool is constantly being updated and worked on. There's ocasional bugs and maybe theres things you'd like to see that aren't already around. There's a discord server for that! The Cosgear team is super open to suggestions and because of people like me, the community reference library requires sources for its images.
[More cosplay scrolling, show off references library for Link from Legend of Zelda.]
And I didn't even get to talk about the reference libaray! There's so many resources built into the app to try and make your process as streamlined and convenient as possible. Why not give it a shot? I'll have a link in my bio, go give it a look!
[Scrolls posts again, final shot is Dracula cosplay waving phone with cosplay plans at the camera.]

"It's great to be back!": MotoGP raring to race at Misano
The pre-event Press Conference gets the paddock in gear for another classic showdown on the Riviera di Rimini. We're back in business at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli and the pre-event Press Conference for the Gran Premio Octo de San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini saw Championship leader Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) joined by home hero and recent winner Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), reigning World Champion Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar), form man Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini), MotorLand dueller Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) and local legend Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT) - as well as the returning Franco Morbidelli as he moves to Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP. Here are some key quotes! Fabio Quartararo: "In Aragon something went wrong, we analysed everything and everything was quite clear. It’s good to have a back-to-back race here to forget last week a little bit and to know what to do the next time we go to Aragon. Here is a place I love, last year we had some struggles but this year with the new bike I’m feeling much more confident and I think we can fight for a great result. The weather looks like it could be mixed... "The weather will be the same for everyone. I will try to do my best of course and I’m hoping for the sun to stay until Sunday night." Francesco Bagnaia: "I’m happy first of all, last week was incredible, from the start I felt great with the bike and everything was clear from the start. My first victory, I was not expecting a first win like this because I never fought like this in MotoGP and to win my first race was very nice. I enjoyed all the weekend a lot but more the race because it was nice to have this type of battle. "For this weekend, I’m really happy in front of our fans in the crowd so it will be nice to race like this. It’s a track where I was strong last year, I did a mistake in the second one, but first one I got my first podium. I’m just very happy and motivated to race here after last week’s win. I know it will not be easy. The level is very, very high. It’s very difficult to predict what you will do during a weekend but I’m sure we will fight. What did he learn from watching MotorLand back? "Just try to do everything well in the race. When you work a lot on your pace during a weekend, during the sessions, you arrive more prepared to the race. You can’t predict what your rival will do during the race. When Marc started to overtake, I just tried to not let him do any corners in front and this was the key I think, because I won." Joan Mir: "Let’s see on Sunday and tomorrow how I feel on the bike. This is a track I enjoyed a lot last year, in the two races we did I was able to be strong. We missed the fast lap a lot last year so that’s something we’ll focus on this Grand Prix, we will try to make the same step like we did in Aragon and where we are more or less. It will be difficult again to be fighting for the podium, but I will try, the bike works well here and we have some things to try, so let’s see. "For sure we will try it (the ride height device), I don’t know, because we have to continue working on that. It’s true with the device we gain a lot of acceleration but we also lose a lot of time on the braking area, so we need an evolution. Let’s see what the team brings and if we are able to only get the extra acceleration without losing different things." Aleix Espargaro: "It is a different story to fight for the top 15 to fighting for the top 5. It’s a different approach to the weekend. I think we did a good job, not just in the races in Aragon and Silverstone, but in the practices, preparing the bike with long runs and used tyres. This is what it is all about. I will try do the same for this weekend in Misano. It’s an important weekend for Aprilia and the team, in the past it hasn’t been easy for Aprilia, but this year’s bike is another story. I will try to maintain the level, which won’t be easy, but I’ll try my best. And the RS-GP has tested here lately... "Let’s see, in the last months Dovi tried tests here and Maverick also three weeks ago. He was here learning how the bike worked so he didn’t try anything new or different that we could use. No big advantage from the test they did in Misano but the bike is working well without touching many things in the last races and that’s what we will do tomorrow morning." Marc Marquez: "Yeah of course Aragon has been a great weekend to come back on the podium and extra motivation to continue my progress. But it’s true here in Misano we will come back to our 'real' moment. It’s not very far from the top guys but still it’s a bit far and I can’t ride how I want, so I can’t say a lot. In FP1 I will understand straight away where I am, what I can do this weekend and yeah, the target is to be close to the top guys." Is the upcoming Misano Test vital for Honda? "On Tuesday and Wednesday maybe it’s time to introduce some new ideas for next year. They are prototype bikes and it’s a constant evolution, so for next year we need to improve the bike but I need to improve my skills and performance, if we improve a little bit on both sides we will be able to fight for the Championship. If some of these sides we still struggle, then it will be more difficult." Valentino Rossi: "Misano is always a special weekend. I live very close, Tavullia is very close, but I also grew up at this track as a rider. The first time I tried a motorcycle was here in Misano, in 1992 I think so 30 years ago, and it’s always great and emotional and we have a lot of fans during the weekend. It will be very important to give the maximum to be competitive and be strong because this is the most important thing. "We wanted to try see the race together with Pecco on Sunday, but we didn’t have the chance. I saw the race alone and it was a great race with a fantastic battle to the last lap. Pecco rode incredibly. We are very proud because Pecco and Franco will ride with two of the best teams with the best bikes and I think they can fight for the Championship so we are very happy and for sure I will follow next year from my sofa!" Franco Morbidelli: "It’s great to be back. I’ve been missing quite a lot the sport, the people and the paddock. It felt like a long time. I’ve been trying to work at my best to recover, heal up and return as fast as possible to be here in Misano which is a track that I really like, and a track I have great memories on of course. Just great to be back. I feel quite ok right now with the knee, it’s not that bad, but I will have to see what happens tomorrow on track. "First of all I have to thank my former team, we did a wonderful job together. I had two wonderful two and a half years with them, we did great things, we achieved great things together. And I had the chance to show and to put on track my full potential with them, so I have to thank them a lot. Now a new chapter starts with the factory team. It feels great, many, many people I know already, many people inside and outside the pit box working for you. Re-joining Fabio, that’s yeah a good thing as well. I’m happy. I’m just happy that I’m here again and start doing what I can do. A with these colours it feels even better!" That's a wrap on the talking, now it's time for the racing. The internet trashed their wedding, so Detroit came together to throw this couple another one
yahoo
Detroit couple Janae and LaQuint Rhodes went back and forth a few times as to whether they wanted a big wedding. They had settled on waiting until June 2019 for something bigger, when they woke up one morning in September and decided they wanted to do it right away. They had no idea their DIY nuptial would become a social media sensation, for better and worse.
“Everything we got for that day was between him and me and my dad — and Facebook Marketplace to be honest,” Janae told Yahoo Lifestyle about their Sept. 22 wedding, which took place on the front lawn of their home with about 50 guests. They prepared the whole whole thing in two weeks and stayed up until 4 a.m. the night before their wedding making the decorations and food themselves. When guests arrived that afternoon, they assigned jobs to anyone who volunteered. They didn’t rehearse anything, and the wrong song played as they walked down the aisle. Janae had lost her voice and could barely manage to say her vows.

“But it was all worth it,” she said, despite their exhaustion. “It was happy, it was joyous, and it was memorable. It was intimate and personal.”

Earlier, a friend of mine sent me photos of people making fun of a wedding and suggested we put together a reception for her. After speaking with the bride, I learned more details that their flower girl/daughter (grooms biological) was on life support. She was involved in a swimming accident and nearly drowned. She’s been hospitalized since the night of their wedding. When I spoke with Janae, she was in high spirits with a heavy heart. I couldn’t imagine going viral for being me but being made fun of….then going through this with their kid. I’m challenging all Detroit business owners, entertainers to donate at least $5 or services to put on a reception for these beautiful people. A post shared by Coach Rosie (@randirossario) on Sep 24, 2018 at 3:21pm PDT
But someone driving by thought they saw something different. They snapped a photo of the wedding setup and shared it on social media, writing, “What in the Detroit hood wedding is this?” The photos went viral, even before the celebration was over, with many making similarly critical comments.
Janae and LaQuint didn’t know they’d become internet famous right away, because something much worse threatened to ruin their wedding day. On the way to take photos downtown after their reception, they got a phone call that LaQuint’s 6-year-old daughter had been in an accident in a pool and almost drowned. They rushed to the hospital. “We spent the night in the hospital in our wedding clothes,” Janae said. “It was immediate parent mode.”
Meanwhile, local radio personality and life coach Randi Rossario saw the viral post. She decided to put her internet radio station, Oh So Radio, and her social media reach to good use. “The life coach in me was like, ‘Let me let me help these people and let me let me see what I can do, because I know how I would feel in that situation,'” Rossario told Yahoo. “It wasn’t that they needed another wedding. I thought that they deserved another wedding.”

A post shared by Oh So Radio (@theohsoradio) on Oct 15, 2018 at 4:08am PDT
She immediately posted what she called the #DetroitReceptionChallenge, asking listeners, followers, and wedding vendors to step up and do something for the couple. The Rhodeses found out about their unwanted fame at around the same time Rossario issued her challenge.
“We were shocked and appalled,” LaQuint told Yahoo. “Seriously? It was just unbelievable. Where do you get negativity when we were embracing love and happiness? That’s what we thought that mattered the most.”
After a few days, when his daughter was out of the woods and improving, the couple agreed to talk to Rossario. They were still traumatized by the one-two punch of the accident and the cruelty of the internet, but they decided to go along with her plan. Vendors all over Detroit stepped in to provide everything from dresses, hair, and makeup to the venue and music, and Rossario became an impromptu wedding planner. She also raised $1,300 for them on GoFundMe.
Tumblr media
Photo: theohsoradio via Instagram
“They wanted to be a part of something good,” she said about the vendors. “They said they’re constantly hearing negative things about Detroit, and to see something positive being done, they wanted to do their part.” That’s also why the Rhodeses decided to have their wedding all over again, even though they were personally satisfied with their first one.
Tumblr media
Photo: theohsoradio via Instagram
“Detroit already has such a bad name because of different crimes or situations and all of that, so to have some light shine through the city was phenomenal to us,” Janae said. “It was definitely a chance to relive a special day from beginning to end and actually have our hair down about it. I had butterflies this time — I think we both had butterflies this time.”
For their second wedding, at the El Club, more of the Rhodeses’ friends and family were able to attend. While they were “on cloud infinity,” as Janae put it, they almost didn’t realize their other gift — an all-expense-paid honeymoon in Jamaica, which they’ll take next year.
With their daughter on the mend and this wedding behind them, Janae and LaQuint are planning how to use this experience for their future together. They may even write a book about it. “We both have a passion for just encouraging, inspiring, and uplifting others,” Janae said.
Rossario hopes that others can take away another lesson from this story: “Be nicer on social media,” she said. “Social media is not just social media; it’s real life too, and you’re hurting someone’s feelings in real life.”

Kabuki Apple
Kabuki Apples are a kind of boulder-sized fruit, famous for their huge volume and the strange faces that grow on them.
Tumblr media
Kabuki apples begin on trees, but are carefully treated, tended, and shaped using a series of secret, mystical techniques.
Grown by rare, specialist farmers for food or cider, some families have tended some orchards for centuries.
The rarest of the rare specimens of kabuki apple are grown by true masters into specimens of unusual size, colour, and character.
Kabuki Cider
Kabuki Apples were originally grown by ginger monks during the warring states period as a sort of meditative art form. It’s said that they were taught the way in secret by the Tengu of the mountains.
Legend holds that a famous swordsman returning from battle wanted to drink his reserve of sake dry in celebration of a great victory. Unfortunately, he’d done this a number of times now and had run completely out.
The swordsman’s steward, knowing his master was soon to return, issued a reward of one century of rice to anyone who could satisfy his lord with drink.
A ginger monk of that province offered to turn his kabuki apples into cider, but warned that if his lord should drink too much therefrom, he would be blinded in one eye from it.
Tumblr media
The steward knew he’d have to commit ritual suicide rather than face the shame of letting his master’s victory go imperfectly celebrated, so paid the monk his rice and filled his master’s store with cider.
On returning home, the lord and all his riders, swordsmen, archers, and ninjas feasted and drank the red sun up. The bonfire they built could be seen from afar by the twin gods of thunder and lightning, and the DJ they got was totally sweet.
The next day, all who partook of the cider were struck blind with a blank eye.
The monk visited the lord some days after, and explained to him that he could recover his sight by performing a task in service to one of his men, and that his men could recover their sight by performing a task in service to others.
In that month, an army went out to tend gardens, build bridges, fix roads, protect farms, bring bandits to justice, recover lost treasures, feed the poor, care for the sick, and apologize to women.
Soon they had recovered their sight, and the ginger monk became an honoured member of a famous court in a golden generation.
In his later writings on the 47 articles of strategy, the monk admitted that the blindness goes away on its own after a couple of days.
Gruntfuttock Cider Farm
BlackBerry Hill’s famous cider farm has been in the production of kabuki apple cider for the last century.
Tumblr media
Gruntfuttock Farm was originally a homestead tended by potato dwarves, but was purchased by ginger gnomes some decades later. It retains its original name in part because ginger gnomes don’t always use words to communicate and therefore view the name as something like a tree or a rock that came with the land.
The same family of ginger gnomes that settled that side of the hill to grow apples still resides there, making and selling batch after batch of their cider in traditional blind demon faced flasks.
Fujisan
“Mister Fuji” is the name of the prize winning kabuki apple at Gruntfuttock farm. Named for the iconic Japanese mountain, the apple has unfortunately been hollowed out and vandalized by a gang of bikers from the underground highways of Ratterdam.
Tumblr media
Ataru Moroboshi
“Struck by a Falling Star” is the name of the national blue ribbon winner for “most shocked expression”.

Pink was in the mood to gush. It was the 11th anniversary of her and husband Carey Hart’s Costa Rican beach vows, and to mark the moment, she dreamed up a sweet dedication to her “care bear.” Sharing a photo of them kissing with her 1.8 million Instagram followers, she captioned the January 7 post with a series of emojis and a touching message. “I’m very luck to be able to say that you’re mine,” she wrote to the retired BMX biker. “Thanks for sticking around.”
That perseverance has kept their union alive. To maintain the 16-year romance, the motocross athlete, 41, and the three-time Grammy winner, 37, “take breaks,” she admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year.
Love Story Beginnings: How Celeb Couples First Met
Two of them, to be exact. The couple broke up in 2003 while dating, and then split again in 2008, even going so far as to draw up divorce papers. “We’ve had two breaks,” Pink (born: Alecia Moore) explained. “The first one was about a year. And the second one was 11 months.”
Their strategy may be unorthodox but it works. Nearly a decade after their second reconciliation, the motorcycle-loving, tattooed pair are a tight-knit unit, complete with daughter Willow, 6, and son Jameson, 5 months. “They’ve been through a lot, but they are solid now,” an insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “They love their life together.”

Pink, a high school dropout and former drug user, today revels in a quiet life of preschool drop-offs and making Rice Krispies treats for bake sales. “I honestly can’t believe how responsible I am,” she told Us during a phone interview May 10 — eight days before she and Hart biked 100 miles to raise money for nonprofit No Kid Hungry as part of the Chefs Cycle event. “All of a sudden I’m a soccer mom and doing the damn thing. No one would have guessed this for me. Honestly, I didn’t realize that you could enjoy it so much.”
These days, the singer gets her kicks on the ball field. While watching Willow play T-ball in early may, “I was screaming my head off,” she admitted to Us. “I made my baby cry!”
Celeb Moms Brag About Their Kids on Social Media
Soon, she looks forward to making her kids cringe: “Embarrassing them is the fun part!” It shouldn’t be hard considering kindergartner Willow is already unimpressed with her hit records. “The other day, I picked up her friend, who started singing, ‘Raise Your Glass,’” she recalled. “My daughter rolled her eyes and said, ‘That’s not even one of the good ones!’”

Release Blitz ~ Book Review ~ Excerpt
Title:  Sever
Series:  Deathstalkers MC #6
Author:  Alexis Noelle
Genre: MC Romance
Publication Date:  April 17, 2017
Cliff Hanger:  No
Book Review
4 Stars
*This story is for mature audiences only. Contains explicit scenes and language intended for adults 18+
Synopsis:
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, and I'm a damn idiot.
That's what he does to me.
Ryker. Smith.
The first heartbreak is always the hardest to heal
And those wounds get ripped right back open,
When he walks back into my life.
Seven years,
It took seven long and grueling years,
To get that cocky, leather-wearing bastard out of my mind.
I thought I'd never get over him, never fix what he broke,
And now he's back,
Every sexy inch of him,
The difference is now I'm taking charge.
This time he'll be the fool.
My Thoughts:
This is the first time I have read this author and it won’t be the last. I love MC romances and this author did a good job of having this book as part of a series, but reads well as a standalone! I didn’t feel like I missed any key points and there weren’t any gaps or need to clutter the story with fill-ins.
This was a really fast paced read and it jumped right to it. There is some angst and twists and turns I didn’t see coming, wow talk about out of the blue. How the story unfolds is unbelievably sad in how wrongly these two star-crossed lovers were duped. The cruel hand they were dealt made my chest burn. These two were destined and their chemistry is still fierce. I don't want to give anything away, as you need to read and experience it for yourself.
If you like MC romance, give this book and series a try!

Excerpt:
Walking up, I see a few guys hanging around and talking so I make my way over to them. Their eyes follow me the whole way and I momentarily regret wearing heels because everyone knows heels and gravel just do not mix.
“You the chick from the accounting place?”
My first reaction is to correct him but I hold my tongue. These don’t look like the kind of guys I really want to mouth off to and, really, in their world “chick” might be considered a compliment. I use my hand to shield my eyes from the sun because squinting is never a good look. “I’m looking for Ryder.”
The name doesn’t seem to register on any of their faces and for a minute I wonder if I have walked into the wrong place. That would be just my luck. “Megan.” I hear his voice and it still sends chills through me. “In here.”
There’s a click and a side door opens. I walk toward it, feeling the eyes of the bikers on my back like daggers. When I get there, I peek inside. Its’s pretty basic, with only a desk with a computer and a few different piles of papers to fill the space. I step inside, smelling the faintest hint of mildew. It’s unpleasant, to say the least, and I scrunch up my nose.
“Why didn’t any of those guys know who you are?”
He doesn’t look at me. His gaze is on the papers in front of him as he sifts through them, putting some in one pile and others in another. “Because people don’t call me that here, and neither can you.”
“Really?” I laugh. “So what exactly am I supposed to call you?”
He sits down on the corner of the desk. “Tracker.”
I shake my head putting my purse down on the desk.
“Something wrong with my name?” His eyes narrow and my gut twists, reminding me of the nerves I felt in the car.
“Apart from the fact that you aren’t a bloodhound and it isn’t your name?” I cross my arms and jut out a hip. A lot has changed since high school. I’m no longer the pushover I was, and part of that is because of him, and though I might have been hesitant to stand up to the apes outside, the man in front of me is a whole different story.
“It is my name—at least, it’s my road name. It’s what everyone uses here.” He shakes his head and starts turning on the lights before moving to the computer. The screen springs to life, the display showing the same symbol that was on the back of his vest the other day.
“And if everyone jumped off a bridge, would you?” I arch an eyebrow at him. My body might be completely on edge being this close to him, and my mind might be freaking out thinking about all the memories of us, but my mouth has no problem poking the bear.
Ryder takes a few steps toward me, closing the distance between us until we are only a few inches apart. Having him this close makes my heart feel like a jackhammer. “Listen, as much as I like your smart mouth, you need to watch it around here. Respect is important, so while people are around you need to rein that shit in. When it’s just us, run that sexy mouth all you want.” He winks at me before walking past, his arm brushing mine and sending a heat through me.
“You can’t say shit like that to me, Ryder. We aren’t kids anymore. I’m here to do a job and that’s it.” I force my face to harden and wipe all emotion from it before turning toward him.
“Whatever you need to help you sleep at night, princess. Thing is, we might not be kids anymore, but I still know you better than you know yourself. I saw the way you looked at me the other day.” He steps close to me, his head bending down until his lips are close to my ear, the heat of his breath making my legs weak. “I know you feel this as much as I do. I just have to wait until it consumes you and you come begging.”
“Screw you.”
“All in good time.” He winks before walking out the door.

Gagne Crowned 2021 MotoAmerica Superbike Champion
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s A Record-Setting Day For Jake Gagne At New Jersey Motorsports Park. Jake Gagne wrapped up the 2021 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship on a record-setting, two-race Sunday at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the Californian winning his 16th race of the season to match the record held jointly by Josh Hayes and Cameron Beaubier for Superbike wins in a single season while also tying three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey’s mark for career victories. Fresh N’ Lean Attack Performance Yamaha’s Gagne won both HONOS Superbike races at NJMP on Sunday after winning the lone race on Saturday in MotoAmerica’s Superbike tripleheader. The two wins were his 15th and 16th on the season (those are also his career win marks in the class) and the first victory on Sunday morning is the one that earned him the 2021 MotoAmerica Superbike crown. “Even on the bad years, I’m racing motorcycles,” Gagne said of the many seasons of racing that eventually led to the Superbike title. “It’s what I love to do. It’s fun. It’s sure a lot more fun when we’ve got a winning motorcycle, a winning team, and we can manage to get some wins. It’s been an incredible year. I wouldn’t have thought going in that we would be 15 wins deep. It’s pretty surreal. Again, hats off to this team because the guys are working so hard, and the bike has been super, super dialed in. We keep trying to go faster. These guys are always chasing us down and we’ve got no choice but to keep trying to go. But it’s amazing. We got another race today, so it hasn’t quite set in yet. We’ve got some work to do this afternoon because I know it’s not going to be easy, so we’ll roll on to race two.” As he has done all year long, Gagne dominated and again led every single lap of both races en route to the two wins. Gagne has now led 273 consecutive laps in the 2021 season. The two Superbike podiums on Sunday were identical with Gagne leading Westby Racing’s Mathew Scholtz and Fresh N’ Lean Attack Performance Yamaha’s Josh Herrin in both. For Scholtz it was a solid day as he managed to keep Gagne in sight in both races, finishing 9.5 seconds behind in race two and 6.5 seconds behind in race three. “Jake (Gagne) is the class of the field now and it seems like I’m the next best guy over the last couple of rounds,” Scholtz said after race three. “Just got to keep chipping away and try to catch Jake. We know what we have to do as far as lap time. We went quicker now than we did in the first race earlier on. So, we’re always getting faster, but we just need to find something more, really.” Herrin, meanwhile, was in his comeback weekend after suffering from COVID-19 that forced him out of two rounds of the series. If Herrin’s life wasn’t hectic enough in the past few months, his wife, Rachel, also gave birth to the couple’s first child this week. He put in a tough day’s work on Sunday, however, and came out on top of two hard-fought battles with Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati New York’s Loris Baz. “First off, just congrats to the whole team,” Herrin said after race two. “Congrats to Jake (Gagne). It’s been a difficult year without (me) doing good, but then seeing your teammate doing good it’s hard, but at the end of the year when he wraps it up, it feels good. It’s something that you’ve got to be proud of him. It’s 15 wins in a row. It doesn’t matter if you’re racing go-karts with your buddies. If you beat them 15 times in a row, that’s a lot. Fifteen wins in a row is something special, something that nobody has ever done before and it’s really cool to see, actually. So, congrats to him. Congrats to the whole team. They’ve been working hard all year. “Having the baby, like I said on the podium, it just changed my whole outlook on everything. It has been something so special, something that so many people have been talking to me about and trying to describe the feeling, but it’s not like any other feeling that I’ve ever had. I was there for the whole thing, cutting the umbilical cord and all that stuff. It’s been good for me for racing I think, because just in the four days that he’s been alive, it made me realize there’s so much more to life than racing. Racing has always been the only thing I cared about. It was good for me, because now I can come and have fun racing. For some reason, it seems more fun than before. I still haven’t got a win this year, and I really want that. that would make it a lot more fun. But it’s become different than it ever has been. I’m happy. I’ll be glad to see him, but I want to try and get a better result for him. Just stoked that he’s here for these last few rounds of the year. Can’t wait to get him to the track this year. It’s been special. It’s been fun. I’m glad to be up here. I’ve been down all year, and it’s been bringing the team down, so I’m happy to get up on the podium for them.” With Baz finishing fourth in both races, it was M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Cameron Petersen who finished fifth in both. Sixth place was different, however, with Scheibe Racing’s Hector Barbera earning the spot in race two and Fresh N’ Lean Attack Performance Yamaha’s Toni Elias besting the Spaniard for the spot in race three. One Cure Ducati’s Kyle Wyman ended the day with seventh- and eighth-place finishes with Altus Motorsports’ Jake Lewis finishing eighth in race two. Ninth place in race two went to Jones Honda’s Ashton Yates with M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Bobby Fong finishing ninth in race three. Michael Gilbert Racing’s Michael Gilbert was 10th in race two with Tecfil Racing Team’s Danilo Lewis 10th in race three. As for tying MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey with his 16th career AMA Superbike victory, Gagne said, “I actually talked to him. I saw him in the bathroom right before this race two and he mentioned he had 16. He wishes me the best. Hopes that I can match that today. It’s been an amazing weekend, really. Getting the championship, that’s a dream come true. It didn’t quite set in because we had to focus on this race too, but it’s amazing. I still can’t really believe that we got 16 wins in a row. It’s pretty unbelievable. But all I do is go out there and ride as hard as I can every lap and every race. This bike is the bike to beat. Hats off to these Yamahas. It’s great. We got a Yamaha sweep here in New Jersey. These things were rolling really good. So, hats off to Attack Yamaha and all the boys and Mat (Scholtz) and Josh (Herrin) and Toni (Elias), everybody. We only have a couple days to go before we’re back on track, so we’re going to be just focusing on that all week and then maybe after that we’ll relax a little bit. But I know these boys, like we said, Mat’s going to be strong at Barber. Josh is going to be really strong at Barber. These guys go really well there. So, I’ve got to stay on my toes. They’re going to want to win real bad. The championship is kind of done, so it’s go time.” Superbike Race 2 - Jake Gagne (Yamaha) - Mathew Scholtz (Yamaha) - Josh Herrin (Yamaha) - Loris Baz (Ducati) - Cameron Petersen (Suzuki) - Hector Barbera (BMW) - Kyle Wyman (Ducati) - Jake Lewis (Suzuki) - Ashton Yates (Honda) - Michael Gilbert (Kawasaki) Superbike Race 3 - Jake Gagne (Yamaha) - Mathew Scholtz (Yamaha) - Josh Herrin (Yamaha) - Loris Baz (Ducati) - Cameron Petersen (Suzuki) - Toni Elias (Yamaha) - Hector Barbera (BMW) - Kyle Wyman (Ducati) - Bobby Fong (Suzuki) - Danilo Lewis (BMW) For more news checkout our dedicated MotoAmerica News page MotoAmerica News Or visit the official MotoAmerica website motoamerica.com/ Follow us on social media: Instagram: @superbikenews Twitter: @sbknews Facebook: @superbikenews

Lewis, De Keyrel Crowned On Day One At NJMP
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jake Lewis And Kaleb De Keyrel Win MotoAmerica Championships Altus Motorsports’ Jake Lewis wrapped up the 2021 MotoAmerica Stock 1000 title with a relatively stress-free victory while Robem Engineering’s Kaleb De Keyrel finished second later on a sunny Saturday to earn the 2021 MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship at New Jersey Motorsports Park. M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Sean Dylan Kelly, meanwhile, took a giant step toward capturing the 2021 Supersport title with a .001 of a second victory over his championship rival Richie Escalante. SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup Championship leader Tyler Scott also scored a victory on Saturday to turn his nine-point lead over Benjamin Gloddy into a 21-point lead going into Sunday’s race two. Stock 1000: Lewis Crowned Ask any motorcycle road racer, and pretty much all of them will say that the best way to wrap up a championship is to win the race when you clinch. And that’s exactly what happened for Altus Motorsports Suzuki rider Jake Lewis in the weekend’s only Stock 1000 race. Lewis had the best day of his MotoAmerica career with the win and the championship, but his closest rival Corey Alexander unfortunately had one of his worst days. Aboard his “Engine 23” HONOS HVMC Racing Kawasaki - which featured special fire engine-inspired livery in remembrance of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 - had a technical issue with his bike on the grid and was unable to start the race. Second place went to Jones Honda’s Ashton Yates, who led a large portion of the 15-lap race until Lewis ultimately passed him and went on to the get the win. Meanwhile, the surprise of the day was third-place finisher Mike Selpe, who put his Markbilt Racing Yamaha on the podium in his first-ever MotoAmerica race. “I wanted to get it done at this round and go out with a win, but, unfortunately, I didn’t get to race with (Corey Alexander),” Lewis said. “Hats off to Ashton (Yates). I honestly wasn’t expecting that at all. I think he had some problems with his bike overheating yesterday and this morning he was fast, but I didn’t know what his pace was going to be like. I just let him do the lead. It’s tough to lead around here. It was kind of a longer race. I wanted to see how he managed his tires. He actually had a pretty good little gap there midway. I made a mistake going into turn seven and ran a little bit wide, but then after that I was like, ‘I’m not going to let him win.’ I wanted to go out and get the championship up on top of the step, so that’s what we did. Hats off to the whole Altus Motorsports team for giving me the opportunity this year. Like I said on the podium, I was sitting on the couch last year, was over 200 pounds, and kind of hit a tough spot. Thought about quitting racing. They gave me the opportunity and I worked my ass off to get back in shape. I went out and got my butt kicked at the first round. I was off the podium both races. I was like, ‘It’s time to get going now,’ and I’ve been on the podium ever since. Like you said, five wins and three in a row. So, in a good spot right now. It feels good to get the championship this weekend.” Supersport: Kelly On The Verge Of Title In Supersport race one, the expected battle between points leader Sean Dylan Kelly aboard his M4 ECSTAR Suzuki and defending champion Richie Escalante aboard his HONOS HVMC Racing Kawasaki manifested itself in a big way during the 19-lap event. But, before that, it was Kelly’s teammate Sam Lochoff who had the best race of his MotoAmerica career so far. The South African led the race multiple times and mixed it up with both Kelly and Escalante. On the final lap, Kelly and Escalante established themselves at the front, and the battle was on. The season-long rivals swapped the lead at least four times on the final go-around, and Kelly ultimately prevailed by a scant .001 of a second to notch his 11th win of the season thus far and move even closer to clinching the season championship. “It’s been a special weekend,” said Kelly. “Coming in with the chance to win the championship without even having to win a race, it goes through your mind. A lot of people have been talking to me about the weekend and what I have to do, what I don’t have to do. At the end of the day, I’ve done I think the right thing all season long, so why change it? I focused on not overthinking, coming here, and doing the same job as every other weekend. I’m really happy with today’s job. It was honestly on the harder side of those races, really tough. It was awesome to see Sam (Lochoff) up there. He’s really competitive and a new rider to fight with throughout the race. I tried to play it a little smart, not get too crazy with him and do unnecessary moves. I had to do some thinking in the middle of the race and just leave it for the end and it played out well. I knew Richie (Escalante) was going to be there towards the end as well. It worked out well. Fought until the end. I think I made a little dumb mistake. I actually thought it was the last lap with two to go, so I celebrated for a second until I realized that it wasn’t the last lap. So, that was a first. I had to gather myself up in about five seconds once Richie went by me again. I’m really glad that I was able to do some close moves. Richie was definitely closing the door in some places, but I still did it. The door was still big enough. It was a close one, but happy with the job and just focus on tomorrow.” SportbikeTrackGear.Com Junior Cup: Scott In Control In SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup race one, Scott Powersports KTM rider Tyler Scott and Landers Racing Kawasaki’s Ben Gloddy were expected to continue their season-long fight for the championship, but a fractured wrist suffered by Gloddy a couple of weeks ago prevented Gloddy from finishing higher than fourth, and he was more than eight-and-a-half seconds behind race-winner Scott when the 13-lap event concluded. While Scott tallied his eighth win of the season, the rest of the podium was a battle between Rodio Racing Kawasaki’s Gus Rodio and Bauce Racing/Cybersafe Solutions/JL62 Racing Kawasaki’s Joe LiMandri Jr. At the finish line, Rodio prevailed in second place by just .024 of a second over third-place finisher LiMandri Jr. “I tried to break away early thinking there was going to be a pack of riders, definitely these two,” Scott said. “I thought Ben (Gloddy) was going to be there. I broke away and I saw on my pit board two seconds, so I just tried to keep it at two seconds because I was really pushing the limit the first couple laps. I got kind of close to the track record. I just stayed at the pace I was going and did what I needed to do to win.” Twins Cup: It’s Title Time For De Keyrel The Twins Cup class has seen an influx of new riders all season long, and for round eight of the championship, Aprilia test rider Tommaso Marcon raced for Robem Engineering, while Cory Ventura, who podiumed twice in Supersport at Laguna Seca in his only other appearance this season, competed for Veloce Racing. It was a case of bad news/good news for the pair of Aprilia RS 660 riders as Marcon crashed out of the 14-lap event, while Ventura won the race. And while Ventura celebrated on the top step of the podium, second-place finisher Kaleb De Keyrel celebrated the class championship that he clinched aboard his Robem Engineering Aprilia. Also celebrating was De Keyrel’s teammate Max Toth, who got his first Twins Cup podium finish in only his second race in the class. After his race win, Ventura said, “All weekend long I’ve been facing issues with my shifter. I’m not good when it comes to downshifting. I’ve had years in the past where it’s been a huge struggle of mine, and once I got on (a Kawasaki in Supersport), I didn’t have that issue anymore. Here we are again. It kind of caught me by surprise. As soon as I go to focus on racing and what’s in front of me, I forget about making positive shifts. So, tomorrow I need to make sure I get that dialed in and figured out. But to be honest, I don't think I was riding too well. I think there was a lot of time out of the racetrack and so a lot of battles to be had. Tomorrow we’ve got to come back swinging because there’s no way what I did today is going to win tomorrow’s race.” “Half of me wanted to win and half of me wanted to play it safe,” said championship winner De Keyrel. “I was definitely going for the win. Cory was riding awesome. Max got by me, and he was riding really good. Definitely stepped it up from last weekend, so that was cool to see. All three Robem Engineering bikes were up front, so that was really good for us. There were definitely some points in the race where I was like, I really want to win, but we’re pushing really hard here. Then Tommaso threw it away. Something happened to Mazziotto, I think. I was like, okay, there’s a lot on the line here, so I was kind of trying to plan my move where I could. I really did want to win. Like I said, the whole race, half of me wanted to win, half of me wanted to just play it safe, but I gave it everything I had out there. Cory was riding awesome, so congrats to him. We’ll hopefully work on the setup a little bit and come out swinging for tomorrow.” For more info checkout our dedicated MotoAmerica Support Series News page motoamerica-support-series-latest-news/ Or visit the official MotoAmerica website motoamerica.com/ Follow us on social media: Instagram: @superbikenews Twitter: @sbknews Facebook: @superbikenews

Daniel Holgado dominates Aragon Qualifying for Rookies Cup finale
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daniel Holgado put in a blistering Motorland Aragón lap early in Qualifying and no one could come close. The 16-year-old Spaniard has pole by over half a second for the final weekend of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup for 2021 with points leader David Alonso, the 15-year-old Colombian, on the other side of the grid in 3rd. Splitting the two is Diogo Moreira, the 17-year-old Brazilian while David Muñoz, the 15-year-old Spaniard, who is the only rider able to wrest the Cup from Alonso, will start from the 4th row after qualifying 7th on his KTM. Holgado exceptional “I am very happy for my first pole position of the season. I made an incredible work today. I have a good rhythm for the race tomorrow, lap by lap and I am glad of that and ready for tomorrow's race.” “I like the track, it comes easy for me, it is very fast and I am fast here, so I am happy and will fight for the win.” Moreira so happy to be back “An amazing Qualifying, my lap time was not so bad and the bike is so great. I am very happy to be back, after missing too many races sitting at home because of Covid I am glad to be racing again.” “My first Qualifying back in action is OK and for tomorrow we will see if I can win. I like the track but it has not been the best one for me. Let's see tomorrow in the race, for sure other riders are fast but I think that I can fight for the win.” Alonso where he needs to be “I think it is a very positive day because in FP1 and FP2 I was first, so many laps riding alone.” “Then Qualifying was good, I could do a lap but then there was so much traffic. But OK, the first row was our objective and so I am ready for tomorrow. We will see, I will try to push harder tomorrow.” “I am not so much thinking about the championship, I am thinking about pushing hard and being at the front, that's it.” Broadcast This weekend's Rookies Cup races can be seen live on www.redbull.tv and on TV stations around the world. Race 1 is at 16:30 CET on Saturday and Race 2 is on Sunday at 15:30, the show starts 10 minutes before the race. Quartararo wins, Rins second as Aleix Espargaro makes history at Silverstone
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The gap at the top increases, Rins gets back on form and Aprilia take a first MotoGP™ podium as six factories finish in the top six for the first time since 1972 Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) unleashed some serious speed at Silverstone on Sunday, the Frenchman on fine form to fight his way through to the lead and then put the hammer down to win the Monster Energy British Grand Prix. Behind, Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) stormed through for second place and a podium to bounce back from a tougher season so far, and in third place some history was made: Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) held off Jack Miller (Ducati Lenovo Team) to take Aprilia's first ever podium in the MotoGP™ era. Pol Espargaro (Repsol Honda Team) took the holeshot from pole, with Quartararo initially up into second. But Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) was on the move, past Aleix Espargaro into third and then attacking El Diablo. Drama struck just off that fight too as Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) and Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing) came together once with Martin up the inside, and then the eight-time World Champion tried to take it back. With Martin reacting to those ahead to have opened a small gap, the number 93 made it just ahead but then collected the rookie. He apologised and it was deemed a racing incident. That early race action was still led by Pol Espargaro, with Bagnaia in second and Aleix Espargaro shadowing. The Aprilia then went for the lead but headed wide, and not long after that Quartararo started to make his moves. By 16 to go the Yamaha had worked his way to the front, and from there the hammer went down. The battle behind raged on, with Pol and Aleix Espargaro ahead of Bagnaia and reigning Champion Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar). Jack Miller (Ducati Lenovo Team) was in the mix too, but the rider starting to make serious progress was Rins. By 13 to go, Rins was into third with Quartararo gone out front and Aleix Espargaro holding strong in second. Pol Espargaro was starting to fade slightly, but the big change was Bagnaia as the number 63 sunk to the back of the group, struggling to stay with them. Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), meanwhile, was doing the opposite. The South African was on an absolute Sunday charge once again, and was past Mir and homing in on Pol Espargaro. Bagnaia had dropped well back and Alex Marquez (LCR Honda Castrol) had moved well forward, as a change up ahead then ultimately decided the podium. Aleix Espargaro headed wide, and Rins needed no second invitation as he moved into second. Quartararo was gone, and by the final lap the key battle was focused on Aprilia, on the verge of making history. Rins was just out of reach although still tantalisingly close, but Miller was on the march. The Australian struck to momentarily break a thousand Noale hearts, but Aleix Espargaro hit straight back and made it stick. A few apexes were all that remained between the number 41 and history, and he kept ahead for that mythical first podium. Quartararo made the masterclass look easy but far from it, Rins got back on the box after a tougher 2021 so far, and Aleix Espargaro ended a long, long wait for a podium - for man and machine. Not since 2014 has he been on the box, and Aprilia never have in the MotoGP™ era. Miller was denied but came home top Ducati, with Pol Espargaro taking fifth and a great result from pole. And sixth went to Binder, the South African raising more eyebrows on race day and adding the final piece in a history-making race: Yamaha, Suzuki, Aprilia, Ducati, Honda and KTM in the top six makes it the first time since 1972 six factories have been in the top six. Iker Lecuona (Tech 3 KTM Factory Racing) also put in a Sunday stunner to take seventh, not so far from Binder either as the Spaniard leapfrogged compatriot Alex Marquez, who took eighth. In the latter stages Mir faded to ninth, and he was only just ahead of another charging KTM as Tech 3 KTM Factory Racing's Danilo Petrucci completed the top ten. Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing) was close behind too in P11, before a slightly bigger gap back to Enea Bastianini (Avintia Esponsorama), Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) and then Bagnaia, who took P14 in the end. Luca Marini (Avintia VR46) picked up the final point. After a monster weekend for Quartararo that sees him now sit 65 points clear of Mir in the Championship, the Frenchman seems to be holding most of the cards in 2021. But next up it's Aragon and good hunting ground for his rivals. Can they fight back next time out? We'll find out in two weeks! MotoGP™ podium 1 Fabio Quartararo - Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP - Yamaha - 40:20.579 2 Alex Rins - Team Suzuki Ecstar - Suzuki - +2.663 3 Aleix Espargaro* - Aprilia Racing Team Gresini - Aprilia - +4.105 *Independent Team rider Fabio Quartararo: "It feels so good because it has been a tough qualifying. Yesterday I lost confidence, but we knew in FP4 our pace was strong with the medium, I felt great. I will be short, I want to thank the fans, it’s the first time we have them, a lot I mean. Also, it’s the Monster Energy GP it is great to win for all of them and my family and team. Also, my mechanic, who couldn’t come, Daniele, so that one was for him, and I can’t wait to be with the crew and celebrate!"
