had the idea for this drawing walking home from class, went “ughhhhhh i guess i have to make this now,” procrastinated for about a week, started it, gave up, picked it back up again, gave up, went to class, got home, and finished it reluctantly. so now it exists i guess!

I don’t think I’ve talked about my Rohan stand idea on main yet, but I like to imagine that his stand can grow and improve as he does (kind of like how Koichi or Johnny have different acts, but less defined stages and more organic)

My HC is that Heaven’s Door gets taller as Rohan matures (both physically and emotionally) and gains the ability to read “layers” on the things he turns into booms—helpful especially for art and art history and inspired by modern digital art tech!!

My one other fun HC is that whatever Rohan and Heaven are studying, it shows up as very faint tattoos on Heaven’s arms underneath his outfit :)

People who are like me and don’t know what the new words like glup shittos, here you go:

Glup shittos: a fake name used online to refer to returning characters from the Star Wars extended universe in newer mainstream Star Wars media, which are known and praised by hardcore fans but unknown to the more general audience.

Blorbo: (from my show) is a slang term for a person's favorite fictional character and is used similarly to terms such as Glup Shitto and Scrimblo Bimblo. Though initially intended as a mocking way to describe Tumblr fandoms, it began seeing more use among fandoms as it became popularized in early 2022.

Blorko: On Dec 18 2021 Twitter user @mrbasil_pesto tweet “My favorite bit of Marvel films is when you sit through nine minutes of credits to watch a five second clip of some guy stepping through a doorway and saying “It’s me, Blorko.”

Scrimblo Bimblo: fictional video game character used in a viral tweet to exaggeratedly describe how angry some Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players get when their favorite characters from nostalgic games aren't added to the game, particularly when JRPG characters are added in favor of them. The name is also used broadly to refer to frequently requested Smash characters, and as a sort of insult towards people who demand them.

Scrunkly: (Awww The Scrunkly, continued 🥰🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 Double Tap Now if You'd Scrunkly the When😆) is a nonsense phrase and copypasta featured in a series of image macros, often attached to random images and images of animals that have an indefinable "scrunkly" quality to them. The first example of the meme features a low-res image of a fox and was posted to Instagram in May 2021.

Eeby Deeby refers to an impersonation of robot speak and has since been used in a series of edited comics whose speech bubbles have been edited to have one character say "Your dick cold" and the other say "Eeby Deeby." Often, the two characters will be situated such that it can look like they're having sex. The trend started with an edit of a still from a Buck Rogers comic strip of the robot character Twiki before it was adapted to fit multiple images online.

Cousin Throckmorton, aka Throcky, refers to a fictional character who appeared in a physics textbook word problem. In the problem, "Cousin Throckmorton" is a skateboarder, and the student is tasked with discovering the speed at which he descends a ramp and the force acting on him at the bottom of his descent. Once a Twitter user posted a screenshot of the question, it spread on social media, with people making jokes about Cousin Throckmorton, the skateboarder.

Blorbo: Josh Newman

For those who don’t know, “SINF” is short for the series The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, and Josh is one of the protagonists. A lot of the story and suspension of disbelief depends heavily on his point of view, and some of the BEST foreshadowing in the series surrounds his character and the eventual plot twist with him. Kicking my feet and giggling…

(I can’t put actual pictures of the characters here, unfortunately, so I’ll just find quotes from the books of them that I really like ^^)

Skrunkly: Billy the Kid

This might be an odd choice of characters that I find cute, but I think there’s just something charming about this adaptation of the outlaw! Especially his later dynamic with Machiavelli- they’re a fun duo, and the contrast between their characters is really great.

But instead of pulling away, Billy took a step toward the Elder, slashing out with the Macuahuitl. The razor-sharp glass whistled as it cut through the air. Kukulkan immediately sucked his tongue back in and then coughed and gagged, choking on it. The Macuahuitl had missed it by inches. “Do that again and I’ll cut it off!” Billy yelled. “I know you’ll grow a new one, but I bet it’ll hurt.” (Book 4, the Necromancer)

I am skipping the scrimblo bimblo category because it is almost the exact same as the next one.

Glup shitto: Cernunnos

It’s a shame that Cernunnos was only in book 3, but by GOD did it have the most AWESOME entrance and description ever. It was an excellent way to introduce Archons, what they were, and the effect they had on others just by being there. I love every single detail about it… from Dee slowly figuring out how it operates, to even the pronouns it’s described with changing as the reader becomes familiar with it (going from purely “it” pronouns to “he” later on.) Cernunnos my beloved I miss you every day,,,

A wave of stinking fur, claws, teeth and eyes made yellow by the lights flowed down the streets, boiling out of the houses, leaping through windows, flattening fences, pushing up through sewers. Filthy foul-smelling creatures gathered in a huge silent semicircle behind the Archon. They had the bodies of enormous grey wolves… but they all had human faces. “Turn,” Cernunnos said. Without moving its body, its head swiveled at an impossible angle to regard the silent army behind it, and then it looked back at Dee. “You are strong. Poor little meow meow: Gilgamesh

This is a very different interpretation from Fate Series’ Gilgamesh. SINF’s interpretation of the character is much more pleasant, and much more blatantly tragic. The driving force of the 3rd book technically revolves around meeting with him, and conflicting ideas of him are given throughout the story before he is actually introduced- until you finally meet him. It’s an anticlimactic meeting… he’s not a kingly figure, and despite being the oldest immortal human, he’s far less impressive than any other immortal human they meet. He can barely hold his thoughts together through the jumbled overflow of memories that he holds in his mind. Everything important to him needs to be written down because he is always at risk of forgetting everything dear to him. And,,, oouuughhghhh,,,,

“The Alchemyst leaned forward, and for a moment, it looked as if he was about to put his hand on the king’s shoulder. Then he drew it back and asked gently, “What are you remembering now, Gilgamesh?” The king pressed his index finger into the page, rubbing silver tears into the paper. “The day someone cared enough to shed a tear for me.” (Book 3, The Sorceress)

Horse plinko: Scathach

I love Scathach as a character but I feel like the struggles that she was put through were a little bit inconsistent? I wish that we’d gotten to see more about her relationship with Aoife from her side- it makes sense why we didn’t get to see that, but having her focus on other aspects on her family in the final books doesn’t feel as impactful when their sister relationship had so much intrigue surrounding it in Book #4. I assume that the focus shifting to Scathach’s parents has to do with keeping up the parallels to the twins since their story shifts to having a conflict with their parents.

But I still think that Scathach should’ve gotten more of a spotlight on her emotions on Aoife. She’s too optimistic. I think I need to hit her over the head with a massive metaphorical hammer.

Then Scatty strolled out into the yard. She was twirling her nunchaku as if she were Charlie Chaplin swinging a cane. There wasn’t a hair out of place or a mark on her body, and her green eyes were bright and alert. “Oh, I’m in a much better mood now,” she announced. The twins looked past her in the corridor. Nothing and no one moved in the darkness beyond. “But there were about ten of them…,” Sophie began. Scathach shrugged. “Twelve, actually.” “Armed…,” Josh said. He glanced sidelong at his sister, then back at the Warrior. He swallowed hard. “You didn’t kill them, did you?” Wood snapped and something collapsed in the shop. “No, they’re just… sleeping.” Scatty smiled. (Book 2, The Magician)

Eeby deeby: Niccoló Machiavelli

Oh my god. I LOVE Machiavelli. Everything about his arc is executed so wonderfully- I love from the moment he’s introduced, there is a very clear distinction between him and Dee, how the two operate, and how the two act. Dee is a terrifying villain, sure, manipulative and cunning, but Machiavelli has a striking subtleness to him that contrasts his layers to Dee being a less mysterious villain. I love how even though they are both manipulators, we see what makes Machiavelli a master in how he expertly controls situations- he’s able to direct the interests of Elders themselves to get what he wants, while Dee is constantly getting into trouble thanks to his brash and rushed decisions.

I also hate him and want him to be eaten alive.

blorbo (fav): Belaf - oh my god where to begin. they’re a gender mood before AND after the Iru arc. autism swag unmatched. the only one with half decent morals, would rather starve than eat babies. gorgeous gorgeous crechur. started off as an adventurous bitch who ran away from their privileged life in order to Consume Knowledge, ended up as a depressed bone snake who sulks in a cave all day and refuses to socialize. obsessed with Blob Girl bc they know she can’t die and so doesn’t feel guilt about living off of her because he’s been plagued by guilt for 150 fucking years. current mood: begged for death but forced to stay alive by those around you. 200/10

skrunkly (So Shaped): Majikaja - clackity boi. an absolute delight. love watching their character move about. it’s like keys to a toddler; don’t ask me the color of anything once they’re on screen. we stan disabled characters who remain disabled in a fantasy world (aka fantasy world doesn’t “””cure””” them of their disability). fuck pronouns, Kaja’s gonna make Kaja’s own. polite yet curious, concerned for others, very demure, very mindful. HADIMAE~ 12/10

scrimblo bimblo (underrated): Habolg - yknow, out of all the side characters, Habo gets very little love. he’s not perfect sure, but he’s fun and adventurous, and willing to help kids break the law to follow their dreams. would split the last piece of cake with you in a heartbeat. 8/10

glup shitto (obscure): Wakuna - white whistle mentioned in passing. must be a level 5 friend to unlock their backstory. mystery man, yet title is Sovereign of Guidance. confirmed DILF. minds his own business. 7/10

poor little meow meow (problematic): Bondrewd - this man is fucked up. this man loves children genuinely yet sees no problem with unmaking them in the name of progress. he’s fascinating. he’s awful. he’s passionate. he’s punchable. I desire to take him apart and examine him. [rumble of scientific triumph intensifies] 9/10

horse plinko (torment): Majikaja - LISTEN EVERYONE IN THIS SERIES HAS SUFFERED SO MUCH, THEY DO NOT NEED MY TORTURE. except Kaja. they arrived after the Ganja squad arc and didn’t know of the village’s origins. therefore they are mine to do with what I please. polite, caring, curious, compassionate? screaming to be held down and examined by Bondrewd.
