an anon asked : "how scary can blythe be? he seems so sweet, but hes also a criminal no?"
transcript in case of my shitty writing :
scare phase 0 : most know to behave when blythe is around. any problems is quickly resolved with a glare and a flex of his body. civilians who don't know any better try for a fight, but blythe kicks them out. anyone else though....
scare phase 1 : words dont work? fine. its nearly impossible to win a physical fight against blythe. broken bones are inevitable. most people learn their lesson here. but of course....
scare phase 2 : sometimes, people don't learn. sometimes, they cross a line. you only get to this point if you keep pissing blythe off. all speech actions are negated. this phase is reserved to a select few. maybe you can get out by begging mercy to aiden. however.....
scare phase 3 : point of no return. people who get here are usually people who threaten, touch or god forbid sexually assault "the one". there's nothing you can do. it's your fault anyways. the moon is your only witness to the inevitable.
otherwise hes a pretty chill guy lol.

Hey! You draw so beautifully! Do you think you can give me some tips for anatomy and sketching?
AW stop thank you so much ur so nice !!! and id love to :]
ive done a big post about some anatomy tips that you can check out here
but it is definitely a little old so here are more tips on anatomy !
i think my most utilized piece of advice for my own sketches is adding guidelines similar to the ones ppl usually add for the face to show where the body is facing? as an example here, i use a curved guide line to show how cj's body twists and tilts to build up a form , as well as lines for his legs and arms just to know where theyre facing
Tumblr media
along with that CURVED LINES ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND !!! every part of the body is a glorified cylinder stacked on top of cylinders ! a lot of what helps make a body believable is that there Is some perspective used to show the dimensions even if there isnt any visible background
Tumblr media
feet are also smth i see people struggle with and i dont Reallt know how to explain how i draw them but i usually draw a triangle with a half circle in front to mark where the toes are.,., make sure to include the arch of the foot and such..,,. make sure that the back of the heel pushes out a little further than where the leg connects....
this other small tip is about some of my favorite muscles to draw bc idk theyre fun LMAO but its about the deltoid and this other mass of muscle that control the neck
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the deltoid is that triangle thats at the top of the arm and part of the shoulder ! adding some small lines that overlap into the arm and show the creases of the skin where the deltoid is placed helps add more solid form into the body :] and just drawing that sloped line of the neck muscles (green part) helps to connect the arm to the neck a littl more believably than if you just drew a straight line from the arm to the neck
HOWEVER LIKE . thats a stylization choice and also a matter of body type since im more used to drawing filled out muscular/fat body types, im not very experienced in bonier kinda bodies !
as for sketching advice ummm ..,. although i usually try to make a sketch as clean as possible first try , dont be afraid to have like a Super rough gesture type of sketch/thumbnail sketch just to get the movement and emotion down as best you can before refining it ! trying to make it accurate and detailed and shit on the get go can cause it to feel rly stiff , so get the Entire pose or comp down quickly in maybe 10-20min or less to just capture the motions before going over it again in a cleaner sketch ?
i tend to have the issue of forgetting to just capture everything first before getting into details so thats something i gotta remind mtself a lot LMAO here are some messy sketches i have where i just wanted to get shit down above all else
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i also try to use as little lines as possible and get the vibe right in one brush stroke type of feel , no small chicken scratch/hairy lookin lines , which is mainly bc im aiming to be a storyboard artist and also bc i want to be able to post my sketches without needing to clean them up LMAO the only times i do a second sketch is for bigger pieces usually
Tumblr media Tumblr media
another example of rly rough jotting down before cleaning it up
last bit of advice is using pen to do traditional sketches thank you and goodnight blows kisses

how do you make your art so expressive and fluid-looking? do you have a technique or is it just how you've trained your hand? I try to get my figures more fluid but they always look so stiff! even practicing figure drawings...maybe because you draw so fast that helps? idk man...any advice? thank you!
thank you first off for such a compliment!!! fluidity & shape are the things i prize most in visual art to the point where ive given up gunning for "correctness" in favor of chasing the preservation of motion lol. gonna put my response and my Full Visual Art Journey to where i am now under the cut as it's an image-heavy one and a bit long winded (shocking for me to be long winded i know LOL)
so i absolutely used to have the exact same problem many years ago of my stuff being too stiff, ie my sketch would be loose and fun but my inks would be nervous & tight & not as fun to look at as the sketch
Tumblr media
this is a super old thing from 2011 when i was still on my anatomy journey (you can tell cus the sternum and nose are, uh, interesting LOL) but you can kinda see what i mean - the sketch underneath is fun & has movement as sketches do, but these little fineliner inks are so visually Nervous. the issue for me at the time was that i was subconsciously exactly that: nervous of messing the picture up, and that fear of making a mistake telegraphed loud & clear to my inks. using fineliner tools 100% did not help me either, as microns & the like have little to no "give" to them; you put the pen to paper and you get what you get, and you have to sit there & meticulously build the line up to get any kind of lineweight.
i was ultra dissatisfied with my output so i made 2 changes a few years after this: i stopped doing pencil sketches and started just doing straight inks, and i swapped to a brushpen
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
these are from 2012 or so & some of the first things i did in straight brushpen inks with no pencil, and theyre a total mess but they are LOOSE AND FUN! i had 100% no idea what i was doing with the brushpen and had no control over it because i was so used to the thin lines pencil & microns gave me, so everything i made was sloppy & out of control as i was struggling to keep control of the tool, but honestly it was absolutely freeing for me. now i had the looseness of the sketch right there at the forefront. the issue was though, how could i get enough control of the brushpen to make something that wasnt so messy? even if i had freedom, if i got too wacky with it, itd just turn into a black ink mess. i was completely done with pencils at this point and didn't want to go back & risk losing this looseness & freedom, and then i realized like - what if i just do my straight ink sketch like this & then figure out a way to go back in & "carve" into it to clean it?
Tumblr media
enter the next tool in the arsenal, the white gel pen. this was my first experiment with it & it was legitimately a complete game changer, because now i could slop on my inks as much as i wanted & go right back in with the gel pen & literally carve out the black lines to as crisp as i pleased while still preserving the motion & energy of the ink sketch. i noticed even with tons of layers of gel too there was no way to fully get rid of the ghost outline of my corrections, so at this stage i leaned into that quality even harder & changed from white paper to exclusively brown
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
at this point i wanted to showcase loud & clear to myself exactly what i was cleaning up, i LOVED how this looked. i even went a step further & got some really translucent red ink for a second brush pen (had to fill the cartridges with the red ink manually in the sink lol) so i could do an even sloppier red sketch underneath, half precise slop on black ink on top of it, clean it up with the gel, go back in with the black, forever and ever and ever
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and like this was an absolute physical mess of material but it was beyond fun. id completely given up on anything being clean or correct, because i could always clean it & correct it & have a blast showcasing the journey of start to finish as preserved in the materials. i basically gave myself permission to like, be imperfect, treat inks like clay, & draw with complete abandon like a kid again
eventually utrecht stopped making the kind of brown paper i loved (these brown paper books were HEAVY DUTY & could take so much punishment, when i was done with a book id legit flip it over & start drawing on the backs of the pages) & then all the available material physically couldnt handle the amount of medium i was putting on my pages, like legit the paper itself was just ripping & dissolving lmao. so at this stage i got an ipad (i could never wrap my head around a tablet & not looking at my hand and the tool touching the artwork) & pivoted from trad to digital in like uhhhh 2018ish & just did the exact same techniques of slopping inks down, carving with the eraser, going back in with the inks, carving more with the eraser, and so on. and now since it was digital & i never had to worry about my paper literally melting underneath my brushes LOL i could just go forever on one thing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
early attempts while learning the new medium in my fury road era
Tumblr media Tumblr media
tail end of the SAD SACK roughs in like 2019ish (SAD SACK really was what got me locked in with my digital technique & how i wanted to attack it)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
tail end of the SORTIE roughs from like 2021, at this stage i think my style got so fuckin crazy because i wasnt worried about my pages getting destroyed anymore so im like Violent with the ipad lmao, that & it got Really fast bcus since i wasnt bothering with correct anymore & had no medium-being-destroyed barrier i could just gunshot-speed get these down
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and then most recently DE RERUM NATURA from like january of this year which i think showcases what im currently doing pretty accurately
this got long whoops lol POINT IS: i dont worry about being correct (because i can fix it later), i dont worry about being neat (because i can clean it later), and i skip the sketch stage entirely by slop-inking & eraser-carving interchangeably, which lets me fix and clean all i want while preserving the energy & action of the first marks. plus, going straight inks all the time i think trained my hand & eye to A. put down the marks i want correctly in the General Space of where i want them, and B. do it faster & faster lol
after all this my advice to you is this: swap to a new tool! try a brush, try paint, try a medium you have no control over but something that forces you to improvise and remember whats so fun in the first place about making a mess on your canvas of choice. remember that any mark you make, you can tweak, fix, carve, shove around, whatever. i think a lot of people get stuck in the rules they have set for themselves with art (i know i did!) and we tend to forget that there are no rules. try & remember that feeling of being little & just going wild on paper without any care whatsoever about being Right. go for it, because you can always tweak it - even inks arent permanent 🤓

I loove being on my feet for most of a 3 hour studio class -_-
Hii im gonna use this space to ramble about some of my project ideas i didnt get to talk about in class :3 and you guys will actually understand it cause you know LEDDlabs.
SO this is the basic layout, current plan. All those crochet squares im doing, theyre gonna get sewn together into a big rectangle. I'm not 100% decided on what color ill use but they'll have like borders around each square and a big border around the whole thing.
Tumblr media
And then if I have time, I'm considering making a big back piece, so I mapped out a pixel LEDDlabs logo in the correct aspect ratio. My fellow art students are trying to talk me into leaving the messy back visible tho, for Art Reasons. But i think that sounds too fragile. I want this thing to live forever.
Tumblr media
AND JUST FOR FUN, I also allowed myself one sketch of "what is the most amount of work I could put into this final project" which is: blanket design with twice as many squares. but LOOK each rat has little drawings of stuff significant to them and their arcs yaaay. wouldnt that be neat. its not happening tho <3
Tumblr media
Anyways right at the end of class today I was talking to my table buddy and I was like yknow I love this project but it is so very Flat compared to my usual crochet projects, i miss having dimension and interactivity, and my buddy was like (paraphrased) add dimension and interactivity then? and it was REVOLUTIONARY. i can do that.
so im thinking about crocheting a maze now. very fixated on the idea of crocheting a maze which is not what my buddy suggested at all but its what i landed on. layer of squares attached to layer of MAZE and you can flip them up like stickynotes to look at the underside and maybe the logo can still go on the back of the maze idk. still need to chew on this idea.

anymore angel vox? :3 how does he interact with other characters! /nf!
i am currently in Sketch Hell as i would describe it so ill be reblogging later when i can Draw but. Ramble under the cut
Firstoff i made the design because of a handful of fics which i read and stupidly forgot to save . Namely the one where he died for alastor, angelic interference, and the one where they made a fuckup on the books. (Ill get back when i find their names) . I just wanted to make the design for the sake of it and try to make his looks fit heaven and also my interpretation of vox, so hes intended to look almost like a character youd see on an old tv show but a bit more suave. I also wanted a space age head because i mean thats The Period of innovation and while there were certainly similar designs while he was alive its more symbolic of progress than actual progress. Then my brain started doing its thing and when i start thinking about anything for more than five seconds i get a bunch of pins and red string and become a full blown theorist who needs to connect everything to worldbuilding or ill die
so. I started a fic and if you find it you find it :]
ANYWAY! CLAPS MY HANDS
my angel vox.
Point the first! this isnt a vox goes straight to heaven, its canon divergence. Vox dies, goes to hell, and at the peak of his messy hell career he dies again and goes to heaven. Vox is not redeemed.
2. Vox is powerless. Heaven equalises people. It has rules, a lot of rules, and these are sown straight into their reality which cant be broken. He does however have free will and a silver tongue.
3. I think vox and sera would get along surprisingly well when it came to it. Sera is a 'tough love' sort of character, and does believe shes doing good in spite of it all, and is willing to do lesser evils. Vox cares about nothing but numbers and outcomes. This means that if they share a goal a lot of their approaches would also be shared, and i think theyd be fond of that.
4. Vox despises heaven. Just the fundamental concept of it. He does enjoy a struggle and he does enjoy pain, thats the point of being alive to him. Or well. dead. Its an uphill battle but its his uphill battle to fight. Also he just needs something to keep him occupied at all given times or he might just snap #adhd
4a. He also hates the residents, mostly because of very well earned trust issues how its not fun to talk to any of them. They just say whatever theyre thinking, no song and dance, no fine print, and vox loves fine print and searching for hidden meanings.
5. Emily is nice and almost tolerable but he would absolutely throw her off a bridge if it benefited him without second thought. He hates how much of a bleeding heart she is, but that seems to be a trait of everyone up there
6. Vox's relationship with himself is a complex mess. It always has been and heaven made it worse. Not only did it revert his body to how it was when he first fell but Angel Edition, hes barely mechanical anymore- and while being a good part machine was all part of hells punishment at the start for various psyche reasons (as well as how inconvenient it was) he had grown to worship and love his inorganic nature, and how much better it was than his faulty body . I have headcanons about that but that falls under spoiler territory for Said Fic. But heaven handing him back his flesh and blood is a massive massive violation of his boundaries and the moment he stops and actually starts thinking about what the hell has happened hes gonna break
7. The vees think vox is dead dead. Angel!vox would... have a strained relationship if he were to meet like that. On one hand, hes vox! Their vox! But like this he can't be his usual overlord self and while he trusts them enough to view them as friends, he wouldn't be able to face them as partners like this; business or otherwise. Hes horribly powerless and they need him on his A game.
8. Alastor (angel!vox punches the ground and eats drywall)

hi!! I love your art and have been wondering what brushes you use since they always look very smooth
omg thank you so much!!! 😭 that means a lot to me cuz im actually a rly messy artist so ive been trying hard to make my art neater and the lineart cleaner,, i actually use random brushes interchangeably so since theres quite a bit ill just expound below the read more cut :>
Tumblr media
so for the entire year or so the main brushes ive used are wendy xu's esterbrook double elastic #135 vintage dip pen mimic and fine point sharpie mimic ! its pay what you like (min $1) and theyre only available on procreate. i highly recc them, they feel SO nice to use! ive been using them a lot esp in the recent (ivantill) comics ive been drawing but also for rendered pieces to clean them up a bit
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
also rly fun to use for sketching / crosshatching! personally i love to use the mimic gel pen for sketching while the elastic is for clean ups
sometimes i also just use the default ink procreate brushes like "syrup" or "gesinski ink"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
for more rendered pieces like the ones above ive been using rinreeper's procreate brush pack (pay what you like, min $0) and marmastry's brush pack (pay what you like, min $0). both of these packs have really lovely brushes that make blending a lot easier, and coloring becomes a lot more fun :> they've been a huge help for me for a long time now (i also used the aforementioned wendy xu brushes for inking and lineart)
these brush packs also come with their own lineart brushes and i sometimes use them too
Tumblr media Tumblr media
for pieces that are blockier / not quite as blended i love to use twulf's procreate brush packs, specifically the draw and paint packs. its free and only on procreate! for the draw pack i use "filly 1", while for paint i use "002" and "basic rounded cube". this is perfect if youre not rly looking to blend your colors and rather lay it out as is
OK thats pretty much it, sorry if its incoherent in any way i wasnt sure how to like. format this;; but these are the brushes ive been using d entire year 🫡

I absolutely love the sprites you've been posting! They're so good! Do you have any tips for spriting? I'd like to get better at it, but it's not easy :'D
Thank you so much! and oh my god im so sorry for how long this took me to get to Truthfully infinite fusion helped a lot to get me into it myself haha. Not because of anything about the concept, but because it eased me into it with editing existing sprites. That way you don't have to do a lot at the start yourself yet, but you DO have to really look at how the shading is constructed to edit things together. Maybe hand draw a new leg or alter the expression a bit- again, not a ton of work, but it'll force you to deconstruct how the sprite was made to match the style!
That is probably THE best tip I can give to anyone. Find a (preferably somewhat simplistic- video game sprites r great here) style you like, and start off by working in that. Simple edits etc arent a big bang beginning, but theyre great for learning the basics.
Now for random tips I can have. Be mindful, these are just how I personally work ! Genuinely there are so many different styles and ways of working with pixel art as with any medium- you can break any rule and still have things come out amazing!
Dont worry as much about having distinct sketch/lineart/colors/shading phases. Technically you can work this way? But I find it makes me focus too much on how each individual phase looks when most of the time (at least for me) a sprite doesnt pull together until the very end. it WILL look slightly mad until then its simply part of the process. I tend to put a rough base with some beginning colors and then simply refine from there. wips vs finished attached below for visuals
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, careful with stuff like dithering! It can be very fun , and some styles have a ton of it which works fine and can look good! But from what I can see at least in the IF disxord a lot of ppl will slap it on anytime anywhere at the start which makes things look... messy. I personally mostly use it for fabrics. (Also, get a dithering brush. Love yourself, dont do that by hand, especially on bigger sprites)
Tumblr media
Limit your colors! This is a general tip and not tehcnically that important, but I find it really helps me.
I tend to stick to 3/4 shades per color max. Some of the darkest shades of a color can also be the lightest parts of the outline for that color! Pic below I used the browns not just for the hair, but also for the gold shading and for the darker parts of the skin. It just helps pull a pallete together easier when youre reusing it where you can.
Tumblr media
Dont be afraid of using the outlines color to shade with either for dark shades btw ! It is fun it is fresh
Tumblr media
Only real warning for outlines Ive got is to be careful of jaggies. Like the upper line reads 'smoother' then the lower one because the longer pixels all follow eachother gradually. Jaggies can be useful especially in folds and whatnot, but when something is supposed to look smooth or round- no jaggies usually show!

I've been catching up with Vox Machina after finishing the series and man........The D&D brainrot is real.
SO since i drew lots of stuff this year? month? but its mostly OC/DND/Practices and unfinished stuff, i'll try making those doodle dumps once in a while.
Man, i just love Percy. He's my little mewmew. I'm absolutely obsessed with him in the Vox Machina Origins comics by Olivia Samson, everything about it its just chef kiss. I tried to give my own take on him but tbh its mostly just a combination of my favorite aspects of him in every media. Also an edgy drawing of him cause why not.
The blue oc and dogboy are Algos and Onyxx - a tankish cleric with the worst goal ever and a sad snarky shifter. They're mine and Hellcuco on twt and we're obsessed with them.
The last oc is another one of mine - Lunin or Loonie - but dndnized. Yeah hes also a cleric tiefling. I just love tieflings and religious motifs.
Finally a bunch of page? sketches, i made just for fun for Algos/Onyxx meet-up stories and theyre quite messy, but it was still fun.

5 & 9 for the art ask game?
5. least favorite thing to draw
Architecture, perspective, anything that requaires clean straight lines:( also still life. in an art club thing i attend the teacher makes us do SO. MANY. still life paintings. its not that theyre really bad, theyre just boring most of the time:/
9. show us a finished piece right alongside the original sketch
cant do this one right now:( i'm at my granparents house for the next few days and i dont have my computer. i might update this when i get back home tho!!(if i dont forget..)
8. what's the most fun and the least fun parts about your process
The most fun part of my process is propably the loose sketching phase! Its all messy and i get to experiment a lot!! the least favorite part is like. the weird middle ground moment when everything looks ugly and unfinished:/ sadly you just need to power through it until it looks good!
Thanks for asking!!

Hii! This blog is a portfollio/archive for @oleyceon's art. Here, I want to try sharing EVERY sort of art I've done as well as their creation dates if I can. Typically older stuff and smaller art will be shared here, but any art I post to my main will be reblogged here I may fuck around a bit with this blog, but I'll still focus on simply archiving my art for the sake of it. I don't really care about reach since thats what posting on my main is for, so the tags will mostly just be my system
Tagging system:
#art - Mainly used to filter out anything off topic I might post here artwork - Finished pieces of art #sketches - Small drawings done for fun that have a lot of messy lines #doodles - Sketches with cleaner lines and/or more effort put into them. However, theyre still messy compared to acutal pieces #edit - Anything that I've like.. edited that is still consider art in a way (may contain a bunch of gacha lmaoo) #animations - Anything that moves #animation meme - Animations set to music or other audio, most likely uploaded to my youtube #3d - Anything I've made in a 3d program like blender #model - A 3d model I've sculpted myself #render - An image composed with said 3d software (will probably most likely be splatoon renders lol) #comms - Art commissioned by others that I've made for them #artfight - Any artfight related media I've made, usually attacks #shitpost - Stupid shit I do -There may be some extra miscellaneous tags on posts. If it becomes prevelant enough, I'll add the tag to this list
These tags were set in place for people to filter through my art if they wanted to. It's mainly for people who want to commission me and take a look at my work. For example, they can use #artwork to see all my serious pieces and sift past the shitposts
Speaking of commissions, if you like my art and want to commission me, please check out nellycomms.carrd.co!! (great advertisment i know) Currently, they're closed because I want to figure shit out and set it up properly, but I'd appreciate if you'd keep an eye on me for when I do open them ^^'

Fair enough! Figure sketching and anatomy are difficult to get a handle on!
Drawing classes can definitely help with those, especially if you can find specific figure or anatomy courses (idk how old you are so i dont know if youre looking for classes in your school in your grade, in which case i would try getting into an "advanced drawing" or related class if possible, or if youre college age or out of school looking into classes, in which case looking for specific figure drawing cpurses will be easier and more helpful for you) but if that doesnt work i luckily have some advice i got from my professors that might help :>
One piece of advice i got was to take a sketchbook to a public space such as a cafe or library or park and try to draw the people around you as fast as you can. The point of this is to make it as sketchy and messy as you can, and try to get the vague shapes and proportions and pose down rather than all the tiny details. When you start out, theyre going to look terrible. They sure did for me. But after a few times youll start to get a handle on it, and it will really boost your observational skills for most proportions and how the body moves etc
In addition to that, heres a few books you can check out from the library and try out for yourself:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(These were specifically recommended by one of my figure drawing professors, but you could probably try out any figure drawing how to books you find at your library)
Other than that, something else that has helped me learn anatomy, especially different ways to stylize it to fit my own art style, was to take screenshots from videos or movies or anime or video games or even just saving some art from an artist you admire, then try either tracing over it to see what proportions and shapes there are in it, or even trying to copy exactly what you see (i wpuldnt post your results online unless you want to show close friends but this exercise can be really helpful, my professors cqlled the latter a master copy and those were very helpful for me back when i was in school). You can have fun with it too, try some meme redraws or draw the characters you like drawing most interacting in the space instead of the characters/people who were already there! (This you can post since its a parody of the original rather than just tracing or copying)
Anyway, feel free to take this advice or leave it, no worries either way, but good luck in your endeavors!! I believe in you, you got this!!
I wonder if I should take an art class…

would you ever consider making a post that’s like a step-by-step breakdown of your art process? i really admire the way you choose color palettes and add lots of cool details, but i never know where in my own art process i would fit that kind of stuff in! if you read this: thank you! if you end up doing this: double thank you all the way across the sky!!!!!!
SURE ok so first im super super flattered u wanna see my process... SECOND i am super inconsistent and stuff but ill try to be specific abt my general process!! for context im drawing twishy but their designs are based on how fluttershy and twilight look in my miitopia game LOL... here we goooo!
1. sketch! usually super messy, can be done with like ANY brush, sometimes i use a different color for accessories to make them easier to see

2. color time!! i use the sketch as a guideline, but sometimes i deviate from it if i want to change it. i make the colors a bit more neat than the sketch, but its fine that theyre kinda messy cause im gonna clean them up later. usually i do all the colors on one layer but in this case im using gradients so i had to use multiple pinned layers. i only use colors on the very top or right side of the palette, unless im doing grey or brown. that way i get nice bright colors! i dunno anything about color theory or whatever so i just choose colors that look good to me

3. start lining! i usually just do the lining on the same layer as the colors. i start by colorpicking from different parts of the piece and using those colors to line. for example, here im using twilights back hoof color to line her hair, and fluttershys lower hair color to line her upper hair!

4. finish lines and add shine! usually i just use more saturated versions of existing colors to finish off the lines. for shiny parts, i tend to use lighter, yellower colors of the base color. im adding lots of squiggles and swirls here! also the hair shinies are on a different layer

5. set the hair shine layer to overlay! i just keep it at 100% opacity
Tumblr media
6. use a bright pinned layer to unify the colors! usually i do hot pink but sometimes i do bright yellow or turquoise. just depends on how u want it to look in the end
Tumblr media
7. ok done! i set the bright pink layer to overlay (i think lol i kinda forgot) and turned down the opacity, and then added a blurred white layer for that fun glowy background or whatever!

so ya thats my general process! i dunno how helpful this is but i hope u enjoyed ^___^
