i sincerely do love Pikelan being the slowest of slow burns in TLOVM.

like even though they both essentially knew the other person liked them, until Pike made it clear to Scanlan in 3.3 that she's not gonna be do anything. and now that everything is over, Pike has been there for Scanlan and watched him change, Scanlan's emotional walls with everyone but Kaylie are impenetrable!! Pike looked so sad when he said he was leaving and I believe it's also because she was ready to take the plunge. not because of a fear of the future like Vax, but because she'd seen him open up more with her and thought, 'maybe this can work'.

but then he leaves with Kaylie, and it's clear he's retreating into himself a bit. he says they aren't family, and that hurts her. he, more or less, says he doesn't feel like he matters with them, and that hurts Pike because he does matter, to her at the very least.

I really think that after Vaxleth and Perc'ahlia have gotten together, it's gonna put more eyes on Pikelan in S4. like the audience is going 'when are these bitches gonna get together??'

This was a quick practice on lighting only using one color. I had this idea of someone bleeding out and they encounter death's champion. Vax'ildan is and will forever will be divinely gorgeous. The Raven Queen has good taste.
