modern au headcanons for the sullys + fali
Tumblr media
general
one of the most chaotic families out there
trust me when i say this
when any of the kids have friends over, the guests are always shocked to find out that they ever manage to get anything done
there's always someone being a problem ( lo'ak )
tuk is the "do it all" child
like soccer, lacrosse, dance, school plays + musicals
she totally ate as an oompa loompa in charlie and the chocolate factory jr.
the older siblings all took a picture with her while she was in costume
[y/n] has an epic 0.5x picture of her from that night and is saving it for her graduation
[y/n] has the most baby pictures and "baby's first christmas" ornaments / type stuff just because she was the first child
neteyam has a good bit, so does kiri, but lo'ak and tuk have barely any
you can tell that they gave up on parenting tuk because she's such a menace
the whole entire family is banned from pizza hut
they refuse to speak on the topic
after neteyam and lo'ak played jv basketball together, kiri and [y/n] worked together to rewatch all the film and make a compilation of all their funny moments
tbt to when lo'ak completely missed the basket during a free throw
to present it, they gathered the entire family into the living room and pretended it was serious
but as soon as the video started, the two girls could not hold up the act and ended up on the ground in tears as they laughed at the entire thing
lo'ak and neteyam were not amused
jake was totally losing his mind
he loves making fun of his kids ( affectionately )
you can always tell neytiri's mood based on what she's listening to when she cooks dinner
a podcast means she's feeling good, feeling productive - sad music means she's, well... sad - classical music means you must stay far away from her
kiri, [y/n], and neytiri have their periods sinked up
it's complete hell for everyone else
once jake came home from work late and saw them sobbing on the couch to an episode of how i met your mother
sometimes the siblings will all sit down and have tuk paint their nails as she just talks the most amount of shit about every kid in her class
it's literally the funniest thing
she has some serious issues
kiri and [y/n] both like reading but the difference between the two is that kiri actually reads and [y/n] has five different books sitting on her bedside table
when she does have a random burst of energy to read, they always swap books
the head boys lacrosse coach is the biology teacher and he loves the sully family
he also teaches forensic science
not only is [y/n] dating his star player, but she manages the team
plus neteyam is on his team
sometimes, during their lunch period, fali and [y/n] just roll up to his class ( the same period that lo'ak and tsireya have bio )
ao'nung also plays basketball, so him and lo'ak were literally always beefing until they randomly just became friends
and then it was chill!
[y/n] and fali also drive tsireya and ao'nung around quite a bit, but they don't mind
everybody trusts fali and [y/n]
they're the type of people that you call if you need anything ever
kiri and neteyam have definitely called their sister or fali during a party after realizing they needed to get home
once neteyam's old friends left him there with no ride and he was... not all that sober
fali was at the same party because lacrosse team!
this boy did not hesitate to leave with neteyam and bring him back to his house
neteyam called his parents and pretended he was sleeping over with ao'nung ( who helped cover for him ) and ended up sleeping in fali's guest bedroom
every day kiri collects random ideas for her future speech as [y/n]'s maid of honor at her and fali's wedding
[y/n] still doesn't know
neteyam has an entire shoebox full of memories with his big sister that he plans to give her before she moves out
panic ensues the household when they reach june / graduating month
they do not want to think about their first baby leaving the nest!
neytiri is such a sad frantic mama
just wants everything to be perfect for her baby
jake ensures her that it will be
moving on to more happy stuff!
neytiri is totally a swiftie
like a very serious very loyal swift or that knows every single song and every single album and every single word
owns her ugly merch but it's okay because it makes her happy
tsireya's favorite candy would be watermelon jolly ranchers and she always has them in her backpack and stuff
lo'ak started to also keep watermelon flavored things in his backpack when he first started crushing on her
he would give her some during bio
her smile was always worth it
[y/n] and fali have the cheesiest and cutest way of reminding each other that they love each other
and that would be by giving each other their last piece of something
like they would give each other their last oreo, their last piece of gum, their last hershey kiss, his last name
it's just a silent exchange of their infatuation for each other
everybody else watches as they contemplate leaving because of how lonely they make them feel
kiri makes the silliest birthday posts
like she absolutely exposes every single one of her siblings by posting their ugly pictures on her instagram story
and she isn't even nice enough to keep it on close friends
lo'ak and [y/n] have a super long streak on snap chat of like 600+ days
and they are constantly scared of losing it
tuk takeover happens on a rare occasion in which, every few months, one of her older siblings allows her to do their streaks
she usually manages to post something stupid on their stories or something, but all of their friends have learned to look forward to it
fali and [y/n] were friends for a year before dating, but half of that year was spent with them absolutely crushing on each other
their first kiss story is so embarrassing and they refuse to tell anyone about it
fali wears bracelets that [y/n] makes for him
he always wears the bracelets that tuk makes for him and they're the cutest things because it's just a random assortment of beads
fali probably has a like single piercing on one of his ears after losing a bet with his friends
but he's grown to love it
he always has to take it out for lacrosse because the helmet is a pain
[y/n] buys him cute little earrings that he refuses to wear because they're always silly
like, "no, [y/n] i'm not wearing a singular waffle earring."
the only earring from her that he wears is the earring that matches the ring he gave her on their one year anniversary
she gave him that earring for his birthday
he almost cried

"Aaand cut!" The director yelled, causing everybody to switch out of their roles, including you and Tom. The participants of the last scene for today came all to stand in a circle around the camera team. "Great work today, guys! We'll see you all on Monday! Have a good night's rest and weekend!" Anne announced, smiling brightly in the round, before she started to clap. Everybody just joined in, applauding and motivating one another.
After everyone bid their goodbyes to the others around, you and Tom parted ways to get out of costume and make-up. "Hey Tom! Finally wrapped up filming for today?" Lydia - one of the lovely costume designers - welcomed the actor with a smile in the costume trailer. "Good evening, Lydia." He gave her a kind, friendly smile as well. "Five minutes ago, yes. I think this was the longest day of filming so far." Tom stated with a small laugh, before he vanished in his small changing booth to get out of costume. "Yep, I think so too!" Lydia responded, popping the p. Tom changed within ten minutes, while small-talking with the friendly woman. After that was done, he was finally ready to go home and enjoy the rest of the evening. He handed his costume over with a smile. "Thanks, Lydia. See you on Monday." "Sure thing, Tom. See you. Good night!" "Night!" Now, clad in a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt, he made his way over to your trailer. Tom, being the British gentleman he was, waited of course for his co-star - and the lovely woman which was slowly but surely taking over his heart. Okay... Who was he kidding? The little sister of his brother-from-another-mother had already stolen his heart. That was at least how it felt like - and Tom knew that feeling. He knew how it felt like to be in love. And how could he not fall for this wonderful, kind, smart and talented woman? It was literally impossible. Inevitable. Actually, Tom had decided to wait, take some time for himself, before he was going to strike up a new relationship after all the shit that happened with Taylor. But well... His heart seemed to ignore what his head was saying and just decided to act on its own, throwing Tom over the edge and into a new abyss of love. What was it his mum always said? You can't choose with whom or when or how you fall in love, son. It just happens. Tom had to smile at the thought of his mum.
"What got you smiling like that?" A voice suddenly interrupted his train of thoughts. Your voice. The Brit breathed out a small laugh, baby blues meeting Y/E/C ones, as his cheeks turned red; embarrassed about the fact that the woman, which was on his mind almost constantly 'caught' him literally in the act. "I was just thinking about my mum." It wasn't a lie. He did think of his mother - in connection to her, but Tom wasn't ready and way too shy to admit it. "You were thinking about your mum?" He nodded, still smiling. "Yeah." You started to smile as well. "How cute. My brothers also always make me smile when I think of them... Especially Chris, that goofball." Tom had to giggle at her words. "Ehehe, well yes. I can relate. He's always up for a little fun." "Oh definitively!" You and Tom shared a laugh, before you got quiet for a moment. "Are you finished?" Tom asked his co-star. You looked down yourself, were now dressed in jeans and a hoodie as well. "Yep. Ready to go. You too?" "Yeah." "Perfect. So... I'll see you tomorrow then." You wanted to lean in to give your 'friend' a hug and say goodbye, but he held out his hand, politely refusing her hug - which left the woman in slight confusion. "No, absolutely not." You furrowed your brows. "What...?" "Y/N... It's quite late. London can be dangerous at night and I refuse to let you walk to your hotel alone. I live five minutes away from the set. Why don't you just stay at my house for the night?" Your eyes widened at the Brit's suggestion. "T-Tom... That's super sweet and kind of you, but... I-I don't know... I really don't want to be a burden." Tom immediately shook his head. "You are everything Y/N, but not a burden." You bit your lip, weighing your options. "I've got a really great Chardonnay, waiting at home..." Tom smiled, trying to persuade you. "And I am going to cook for you the best Spaghetti you ever had in your life." "Wine? Spaghetti? Tom... Don't tempt me..." You said with a giggle, causing the Brit to chuckle as well. "But what if I do want to temp you, darling?" He noticed how your cheeks turned into a soft shade of red. "Okay, okay, fine!" "Yes!" Tom cheered like he had just won a bet. "But if that Spaghetti is not even close to my mum's Spaghetti, I am leaving!" You joked and teased Tom, making him chuckle again. "I promise, darling, you won't be disappointed."
About an hour later, you sat in Tom's fancy dining room, at the wooden dining table, waiting for him to serve the 'world's best' Spaghetti. No five minutes later he appeared with two dishes of steaming hot Spaghetti - and oh lord did it smell delicious. "Dinner is ready, milady." The Brit announced with that sexy accent, causing your knees to turn into jelly. "May I serve you this delicious meal?" You giggled at his words, nodding. "Please, Sir. I'm starving." With a smile placed Tom the dish in front of you, before he sat opposite you. "I hope you like it." "We'll see." You teased and twirled the Spaghetti around your fork, before popping the sauce covered noodles into your mouth to get a taste. Only now did you realise, that Tom had slightly changed his look. The sleeves of his pristine white shirt were rolled up, exposing his strong, muscular arms. The top three buttons of his shirt were undone, giving her a glimpse of the exposed skin on his chest and the fine, dark hair lurking out from beneath the fabric. The woman swallowed hard. It wasn't something she hadn't seen before. After all, she had been filming a sex scene with that man not so long ago, and yet the sight left her speechless. Breathless. Right here, right now, in this situation, it felt much more... personal and private. Almost intimately. It was a whole different situation. And then there were the pair of glasses, which sat upon Tom's nose. That was new - and lord have mercy was it hot. You never saw Tom in glasses before, but now that you did, you never wanted him to take them off. "Do you not like it?" Tom's voice - laced with a bit of sadness suddenly cut through the air, causing you to snap out of your haze. You blinked, needed to process his words first. Once your brain had caught up, you quickly chewed on the Spaghetti and shook your head, trying to tell him that this was absolutely not the case. "No, no! Gods, no! I love it! It's amazing! World's best Spaghetti, indeed!" Tom luckily didn't seem to notice the way your mind went blank for a short amount of time. He smiled a boyish smile. "Even better than your mum's Spaghetti?" The man asked sheepishly, adjusting his glasses. You smirked, took another bite of the Spaghetti, before you started to nod. "Yep, yeah, definitely." The Brit chuckled and placed a large hand on his chest. "I feel deeply honoured. Thank you, darling."
After dinner, you helped Tom to clean up - even if he didn't want it, but you insisted. While Tom put away the last dish, you leaned against the kitchen counter, steadying yourself with your hands. "You were talking about a Chardonnay earlier, weren't you?" You asked with a cheeky smile. Your words caused Tom to snort out a laugh. "I mentioned it, yes. Would you like some?" His gaze met yours. You bit your lip. "Only if you drink with me." "If you wish, milady." That boyish smirk reappeared on his lips, as he nodded towards his living room. "Make yourself comfortable, darling." You didn't let yourself tell that twice, of course and sat down on the comfortable sofa, while Tom fetched two wine glasses and his expensive Chardonnay. Plopping beside you on the sofa, he poured the French wine into the two glasses. "There we go..." Tom announced, lifting his glass, in order to clink it against yours. "Here's to you and your first movie!" The Brit said with a charming smile on his face, causing your knees to weaken even once again. "Thanks, Tom." You clinked your glass against his and took a sip. After sip, after sip, after sip.
They say alcohol lowers the inhibitions. It makes people more talkative and bolder. Perhaps, this was also something which happened to Tom and you... Especially, after the bottle of wine was almost half empty... "Now tell me, darling..." Tom started, feeling the alcohol slowly overtaking his system. He still knew what he was doing, but he definitely was tipsy - and that tipsiness caused him to be way bolder than he usually was. "Why is the beautiful little sister of my brother-from-another-mother still single?" The now cocky, but yet incredibly charming Brit asked, taking another sip of the wine. You snorted out a laugh, being just as tipsy as Tom. "Welllll..." You said, drawing out the l. "Because I seem to have the talent to only fall in love with assholes." Tom frowned. "Why's that?" You shrugged your shoulders almost over dramatically. "My high school boyfriend - if you can even call him that - was a prick. My first real boyfriend was a cheater - so was the second; and my ex-boyfriend Nate is all of the above..." The happy, wanton mood suddenly turned, became serious and rather sad. "The relationship was... toxic. Unhealthy. Guess I am still kinda suffering from this..." Tipsy talk was now deep talk, after those words had left your lips. "I saw through Nate's toxic behaviour way too late... It would've spared me a lot, but well... In the end, I did see through his behaviour, and that's what matters, I think." Tom's expression turned sad as well. Eyes filled with compassion and sorrow. "What... What did he do?" The Brit asked carefully. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, for sure." You shook your head. "I do want to talk about it. It's kind of therapeutic to me, so..." Tom nodded, gently taking your hand in his, giving it a soft, encouraging squeeze. "At the beginning of our relationship, everything was fine. Dreamlike, really. I loved him, he loved me. It was almost picture perfect. Almost. After a few months, he started to become more... clingy. It was nothing bad at first, but at some point, Nate's attachment turned into obsession. He was always complaining that I spent too less time with him - even if I did. He hated it, when I visited my family or friends." You sighed, taking another sip. "Nate loved to manipulate me. He fucked with my mind; made me believe that I always was the one to blame... He may have not physically abused me, but... Maybe psychologically." You swallowed hard; vivid memories running through your mind and reminding you of your past. "T-There was a lot about sex as well, but... I-I don't want to dig deeper into this topic." And another sip, while Tom just listened patiently and attentively. "Hey, that's okay. You don't have to tell me everything. If you're not comfortable with this, it's okay." You just nodded, trying to hold back the tears. How could this man be so... perfect? He was understanding, kind, compassionate and above all supportive and a real gentleman. Tom gave your hand another soft squeeze. "Man... This guy really sounds like the biggest asshole around." "Precisely, yes... I never met a bigger asshole." Tom sighed. "I'm so sorry you had to go through this. No woman ever deserves such a man - and certainly not you. You deserve a good guy. A man who knows how to treat a lady. Someone who loves you just the way you are and respects you and your choices..." A man like you, you mean? You thought, as Tom's words urged to your ears. Exactly a man like you. "A gentleman." You. Your cheeks reddened at his words - and it wasn't just caused by the alcohol. "Thank you so much for listening to me, Tom - and for your kind words. Really. Thank you." The man gave you a small smile. "Of course, darling."
There were a few moments of silence, in which both of you took a big sip of the Chardonnay. The alcohol caused you to be braver and bolder as well. Not just Tom. "And what about you, Mr. Hiddleston? Why is such a charming man like you single?" Said man lowered his head with a chuckle. "Well... I guess I just didn't find my soulmate yet." He quickly lifted his head once again to look you directly in the eyes. "I'm still waiting for the right woman..." You took another sip. "So... Taylor wasn't the right woman?" The Brit shook his head, "No, she definitely wasn't." and nursed his wine glass as well. "Taylor was... She was..." Tom paused. "I don't even know what she was, to be honest." "Did you love her?" He thought for a moment, then started to nod. "Yes, I did, but... I guess it was too rushed. We both kind of jumped into that relationship. One minute, we were on cloud nine and the next, we hit the harsh ground of reality. We were looking for something - but not the same thing. Taylor needed a getaway and I... Well, I guess I just wanted to find true love." Your expression saddened, as you listened to Tom's not quite picture-perfect love story. "I'm sorry, Tom." You sighed. "Seems like we are both falling in love with the wrong people..." "Seems so, yes..." A long beat of silence passed, in which you and Tom just looked at each other, lost in each other's eyes - until Tom cleared his throat. "It taught me something important, though." "Yeah?" "Yes... If I ever find myself in a romantic relationship again, I am going to keep it as private as possible. I think that was another reason why our relationship failed. The publicity, press, social media... It was too much." You nodded sadly. "Yeah... I know exactly what you mean..." You felt how Tom took your hand in his once more, causing you to meet his gaze again. "Let's not talk any further about our shitty and fucked up love life." Tom smiled and went to refill the wine glasses. "We got each other, don't we? And a huge movie project, which is going to be - without a doubt, astonishing." He lifted to clink his glass against yours for the second time that night. You smiled broadly. "Absolutely."
Needless to say, the rest of the evening was very cheerful. In between funny jokes, embarrassing college stories and casual small talk was every topic present. You and Tom really had a blast - and a whole bottle of Chardonnay; causing you both to get wine drunk and facing the consequences the next morning...
Tom awoke quite early on that Saturday morning. Blinking his eyes open, he adjusted to the early morning sun. He shifted and searched for his phone to check the time. That was the moment, when he realised that he ended up on the sofa the previous night; still clad in his jeans and shirt. The good thing was, that he remembered what happened last night. It was a bit hazy, but he still remembered... Eating Spaghetti with you. Talking the whole evening to you - and well, getting drunk with you. Slowly, he swung his legs over and sat up. His head throbbed immediately at this movement, causing him to hiss at the sharp pain. Fuck. Tom thought and looked around in search for you, but the only thing he found was his phone, laying on the floor beneath the sofa. He picked it up to check the time. Eight o'clock. The actor had probably never been more relieved before, that he didn't need to work today. Yawning, he stood up and wanted to find you first. So, he looked around his house. Luckily, Tom did find you. Deep asleep, literally knocked out in- He swallowed hard at the sight in front of him. In his bed. Tom had absolutely no idea how you got there but... It sent his heart almost skyrocketing. The Brit had to admit, that this was a sight he could definitely get used to. With a smile, he left his bedroom again; decided not to wake you and take a shower now. That was exactly what he did. The hot water managed to somehow wake him up, but he was still quite woozy and definitely out of it; the alcohol still coursing through his veins, fogging his brain. With not a single care in the world, he exited the shower. Lazily, Tom brushed his teeth, when his stomach growled, reminding him that it was probably time to eat something.
After he was finished, he closed the bathroom door shut behind himself and made his way towards the kitchen - when his body suddenly collided with another body, causing him to stumble back a bit. His eyes landed on the person he had just almost ran over. You. She must've gotten up while I was showering, the Brit thought. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Y/N, I... Good morning." He smiled, scratching the back of his neck. "No, I'm sorry. It's my fault, I should've been more care... ful..." You trailed off, when you noticed Tom's appearance. It was obvious that he had just taken a shower. The scent of his shampoo and bodywash wafting through the air and hitting your olfactory nerves. It was intoxicating. You looked up at him, blinking; overwhelmed by the sudden situation you were thrown into. You desperately tried to not get distracted, but of course you couldn't help yourself. It was too tempting. You just had to ogle the handsome man standing in front of you...
Your eyes started their journey at his gorgeous face. Wet, short blonde-brown hair was curling itself on top of his head, causing a few droplets to run down the side of his face. Past those baby blue eyes, which were shining in the early morning sunlight. Over those razor-sharp cheekbones, shaved cheeks and defined jawline. The droplets dripped onto his bare chest, hungry eyes following them, as they grazed those strong pecs, pushing their way through the fine, curly hairs on his chest and down those delicious abs. You shortly feared that his cute belly button would stop the droplet you were particularly fallowing, but no, it didn't. Your eyes and the water droplet were able continue your journey. After passing his belly button, the droplet got a bit slowed down by the defined and trimmed line of dark hair - Tom's happy trail, before it disappeared beneath the fabric of the tow- Hold on for a second. That didn't look like a towel- Oh shit... Your eyes widened, before you quickly averted them; cheeks turning beet red. Tom didn't wear a towel. He wore nothing, was completely naked. Your brain was a mess; moments away from just short-circuiting. Your co-star, friend, crush - hence, probably the man of your dreams, was standing in front of you, without a single piece of clothing. Tom noticed the change of your facial expression - and suddenly had a very bad assumption... The actor blinked, trying to get his thoughts together. "I-I sincerely hope and pray to god that t-there's a towel covering m-my..." Tom trailed off, still in some kind of haze, entirely starstruck. You swallowed hard, trying desperately not to look. You shook your head, completely tensed up. "N-No... There, uh... There i-isn't a t-towel..." Tom squeezed his eyes shut, cheeks turning deep red in sheer endless embarrassment. "Fuck..." His brain, which had suddenly been kickstarted, due to the shocking realisation, that he stood in front of the woman he had more than likely fallen in love with - butt naked, told him to react and to just do something. Preferably cover it. Eyes widening in shock, he quickly moved his hands in front of his crotch, covering his most private parts. Fuck, fuck, fuck, the Brit thought. He felt not just utterly embarrassed of his stupid, headless behaviour, no, he also felt idiotic for probably messing up the miniature chance he had to somehow conquer that beautiful woman's heart. Well... He more than likely just forfeited that chance. "I-I'm so sorry, I... I-I'm g-going to..." Tom stuttered, gesturing with his head towards his bedroom. You understood, of course. "Y-Yeah..." Still with cheeks as red as a tomato, he walked towards his bedroom, closing the door quickly behind himself. He leaned against the cool wooden surface, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. Fuck.
Little did Tom know, that this little incident didn't forfeit his chance. Not at all... It rather increased it. Sure, it was an awkward situation, but you would lie if you were saying that you didn't enjoy this little... show. Tom was more than just handsome; hotter than a volcano. Ten minutes later, after getting his shit somehow together and dressed, he reappeared, immediately apologising for his behaviour. From that point on, everything seemed to be... not quite the same. The incident definitely changed the relationship. Although, neither you, nor Tom could point a finger on what it was exactly.
Breakfast was... awkward, to say the last. You and Tom ate in quiet; both of you trying to play off what had happened twenty minutes ago. In the end, you both decided to just pretend it never happened, although it affected you and Tom.
Later on, Tom decided to accompany you back to the hotel in which you stayed. "You really don't have to do that, Tom, really." He shook his head, giving you a soft smile. "I insist. It's the least I can do, after getting you wine drunk yesterday." You stifled a giggle. "It was my decision too, you know." "Yes, but nevertheless. Please." "Okay."
Said and done. You and Tom got ready to go out and headed for the hotel you were staying in. It wasn't a long walk, probably twenty minutes, stopping a few meters away from the big, fancy entrance. "Thanks, Tom." You stated with a smile. "For everything. For dinner. For listening to me. For breakfast. For walking me 'home'..." A boyish smile tugged at the Brit's lips. "Even for getting you wine drunk?" You laughed, "Even for that, yes." causing Tom to chuckle as well. "You're welcome, darling - and uh..." He nervously scratched the back of his neck. "Sorry again for... You know..." You waved him off, felt the blood rush into your cheeks. "It's okay, really. Such things happen after getting drunk, so..." The man nodded, although still felt like a total idiot. Before the awkward silence was able to get even more awkward, Tom cleared his throat. "Alright, um... I'll head back now. Enjoy the weekend. I'll see you on Monday." "Yes, sure. You too. See you on Monday." Both of you leaned in to embrace each other in a friendly hug, before Tom turned on his heels and walked back to his home.
Unbeknownst to them, didn't stay their little walk and hug unnoticed... A man with curly red hair had witnessed the scenes in front of his eyes, from where he stood across the street of Tom's house. He was of course quick to draw his camera to snap pictures. Y/N Hemsworth leaving her co-star Tom Hiddleston's house? That piqued the journalist's interest, of course. He followed them secretly, witnessed the hug and snapped another few pictures. For him, the situation was obvious. Smirking at the seemingly new discovered secret, he fished his mobile out of the pocket of his jeans to call his boss. "Hello?" "Well, good morning to you, too, Kate." "Why are you calling me this early on a Saturday morning, Pete? I hope you've got a good reason for that." Pete's smirk widened. "Oh indeed, I have. I just snapped a few interesting pictures of our British sunny boy with his so-called co-star." "Hiddleston and Hemsworth?" Pete nodded, although Kate wasn't able to see it. "Exactly. Take a look at the pictures I sent you." "Alright, give me a minute." A beat of silence passed, before Kate's voice echoed through the line once again. "Ohh, Pete, Pete, Pete... Those pictures are a game changer!" She exclaimed, "Well, well, look at that... Is Y/N now into London boys? Barely four months separated from her football sweetheart and now that... Angling herself Britain's hottest actor, my my..." and chuckled maliciously. "Pete, you're my golden boy! This headline is going to be terrific!"

It was Halloween season and Y/n was excited, Ally on the other hand wasn't a big fan of Halloween.
The two girls were working at sonic boom once again, You walked down from the practice room with two costumes in your hand as you wanted Ally’s help and decision with the Halloween costume
"Do you think I should be a deer? Or a unicorn?"
"Why would you want to be a unicorn?" Asked ally as she chuckled while writing in her songbook for new song ideas for Austin.
"Well for one they are cute and you get to wear these cute little unicorn ears," you said as you smiled holding up a unicorn headband, Ally Gagged
"How can you like Halloween?" asked Ally “All it is people scaring people and it gets the kids terrified.”
"You only hate it because you can't tell a scary story," you said as you crossed your arms
"I can be scary," said Ally
"I hate to be a mean sister but you don't have a scary streak," you said uncrossing your arms "but I'll let it slide so? Unicorn or deer?"
Ally thought for a moment before saying
"Deer," said Ally as she continued working
"Great," you said as you walked away but when she did Ally stopped her
"Why do you need a costume?" asked Ally, Melody sighed
"you know that girl Brooke?"
"The one that bossed you around when we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa in California in Eighth Grade? yeah I remember her," said Ally "and I specifically said stay away from her,"
"Ally I'll only be gone for one night," you said "besides her friend Angelica will be there,"
"Yeah I know the airhead blonde but what are you going to do when you get caught doing something your not supposed to do?"
"Ally... don’t worry about me I'll be fine,"
Before Ally could speak Austin walked in with Dez,
"Hey Ally I listened to your song," said Austin
"And what did you think?" Asked ally as she ran up to Austin "good right?"
"Yeah you could say that," said Austin as he faked a smile before looking at Dez and You
“Great, Y/n we'll talk about the party later I need to set up a webcast for Austin to perform his song," After ally said that she walked away into the practice room, meanwhile Austin came near you
"I hate it!" Said Austin "Y/n you have to help me come up with an excuse to not perform the song,"
"I wish I could but I need to meet pack for my halloween trip to California with Damien,”
"Wait I thought you and Damien broke up?" asked Austin Confused
"We did were just friends," you said "but don't worry everything will work out,"
After you said that you walked walked out of sonic boom
______
"Hey ally, austin I thought cloud watching wasn't your thing?" you asked as you were sipping on a drink that she got as she was taking a break from packing
"It's not but your sister dragged me here," deadpanned Austin
"Cloud watching can be fun," said Ally "right guys?" Everyone in the cloud watchers group cheered as Ally smile
"See,"
"Ally you do realize there's only 6 of you? Right," you asked, Ally sighed
"Wait... I have something fun..."
"Austin not now, nothing is more fun then cloud watching,"
"You sure about that?" Asked Austin as he turned ally around "I'm taking you girls to the horror movie film festival."
"Ugh I hate horror movies," whined Ally "there so scary,"
"Ally there supposed to be scary," you said "and as thrilling as that sounds I can't, I'm going with Damien to a Halloween party in California,"
"What are you and Damien dressing up as? Salt and pepper?" Asked Dez as walked over to the gang
"No for your information we’re going as Peter Pan and Wendy Darling,” you said holding up your Wendy Costume
Silence
"what it’s a good book," you said
"Wow your more pathetic then ally," said Dez as he shook his head
"You never have a Filter do you?" you asked with an annoyed expression
"not really," smiled Dez
"That's what I thought, well see you later," Said Melody as she walked away
"Wow that cloud looks like bunny," said Dez as he was stirring up his Smoothie
"I know right," said Ally
“That's not a bunny," said austin as he walked away
______
It was Halloween and austin and Ally were at the horror movie convention, meanwhile you and Damien were with them due to brook getting grounded.
"This is giving me the creeps," said Damien, "how do you like this stuff?"
"Because... also it's better then your costume," said Austin
"Boys let not fight,” you said “besides this might be fun,"
"Ugh why did I have to wear this?" Whined Ally "I look ridiculous,"
"Not as ridiculous as Austin," pointed Y/n as Austin was dressed as a swamp creature
"Hey what's wrong with my costume?" Asked Austin
"Everything," You said all while looking at him
"Y/n I'm going home, want to come?" Asked Damien
you looked at ally who gave her the 'don't leave me alone' while Austin gave her the smirk that read 'stay you won't regret it'
"Actually you go ahead I'm staying," you said as you smiled "but I'll stop by later,"
"Whatever," said Damien as he walked away when he did you turned around
"Let's get this night started,"
After you said that trish and Dez came up to the trio in a weirdly dressed costume of a zombie
"What are you two?" Asked Y/n as she pointed to Dez and Trish
"We're Zailens... from the zailens movies," said trish "what are you?"
"I'm Wendy from Peter Pan,”
"Yeah but don't you need a Peter Pan for that?" Asked Dez as he did his usual thinking face, You rolled her eyes
"On second thought I'm leaving have fun," said Y/n “Damien wait!”
______
It was the next day and you was walking out from the storage room, you stopped dead in your tracks as you saw Ally holding a duck.
"Ally why do you have pickles the duck?" You asked as you pointed to the duck
"Oh I'm sending her to the animal shelter, apparently there turning that old pond into a parking lot,"
"Wait your... thinking spot? Why?"
"There building a office,"
"Oh... well what made you change your mind? I thought you liked pickles,"
"I do it's just... now that I have austin I don't need pickles anymore," Said Ally
"Awe that's sweet Ally," said austin as he stepped behind You
"How much did you hear that?" Asked ally
"Oh I only heard the last part, thank for picking me over a duck,"
"Yeah yeah this is creepy can we get going now? The instruments aren't going to hang themselves,"
"Sure," smiled ally

Bunny the Pug, Chris Pontius
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1k~
I had planned on surprising Chris tonight with something very special. First, I picked up dinner for us to enjoy and even had a gift for him. There wasn’t a special occasion or anything. I just wanted to surprise Chris as he’s been in kind of a funk lately. It’s unusual to see Chris without a smile as the man just radiates happiness, and I don’t ever want that to stop.
“No, just stay still, please?” I ask the pug in front of me as I try to put the tutu I bought for her over her chunky hips. “Please, Bunny, just work with me?” I plead, but the dog only tries to get away from me, too excited about all the new things around her. Sitting back on my knees, I huff. Chris and I have always wanted a dog, and when my friend texted me about her sister being unable to keep her three-year-old pug, I knew that was the dog we would love. Plus, her name was ‘Bunny’ of all names, so she was perfect.
The sound of keys in the front door makes me hurry up with the tutu and bunny ears I bought for the dog before gathering her in my arms just as the door opens.
Turning around before Chris can see me, I hold the excited pug in my arms as I hear him come into the house, haphazardly throwing his keys onto the table before walking further into the living room. However, his steps pause and I know he’s incredibly confused. I would be too if I walked in and saw him with his back to me trying to hide something.
“Uh, babe?” He says, making me bite back a smile. I’m hoping he’ll be happy, and I have no doubt he will be. “Whatcha got there?”
Turning around, I greet Chris with our new dog, only for his face to light up like never before. “Holy shit!” He yells with a grin, making me laugh. “Is she… she ours?” He smiles, hoping for me to say ‘yes.’
Nodding, I hold her out to him as she fights me in my arms to get to him; an instant connection. “Her name’s Bunny, by the way,” I tell him, watching as she proceeds to greet him with kisses all over his face.
“No way,” he states, looking at her costume I put on her moments ago, now almost falling off from her excitement. “Bunny the pug,” he murmurs, “the perfect companion for Bunny the Lifeguard! And she’s already got the costume, babe! Who woulda thought?!”
His words make me close my eyes and shake my head with a laugh. Of course, I know she already has the costume. I was the one who bought it and put it on her.
“I love you so much, babe,” Chris says, leaning in close to kiss me before wandering off to give Bunny a full house tour. His action makes me chuckle. He doesn’t realize I already did that when I first got her home, but that’s okay. It’s so cute to watch him walk around with a happy pug in his arms.
Later on in the night, the jackass crew end up crashing at our apartment, all of them wanting to come to see Bunny who was still in her costume from earlier with my lovely husband now wearing his costume to match. Just like how she was with Chris when he came in, Bunny was excited to meet all the new people eager to give her love and attention - all except one. For some odd reason, when Ehren began to pet Bunny just like all the other guys, Bunny stopped wagging her tail before turning around and barking at him.
Immediately, we all stop in shock before Knoxville begins laughing like crazy. “Apparently dogs don’t like you either, Ehren!” He exclaims, causing the rest of us to join in on his laughter.
Not paying it anymore mind, Bunny runs back over to the couch and hops onto Chris’ lap where I sit beside him. The now happy dog instantly cozies up to him like she’s done ever since he’s gotten home. “Hey, Jeff, get over here and film this,” Knoxville says, waving his hand for Ehren to get closer to me and Chris. However, based on the fact that Bunny didn’t like him before, he hesitates.
Once Jeff gets closer with a camera, Ehren gives in and moves closer. Bunny’s demeanor quickly changes and she goes on alert as the strange man gets closer. When the guys came into the house, they all came in at once and Bunny had no qualms with anyone else. She loved Knoxville, Wee-man, Steve-O, everyone; so I'm at a loss as to why she doesn’t like Ehren.
Before Ehren gets too close, Bunny nips at him, but I realize that a pug’s mouth isn’t all that… normal. Instead of actually biting him, it’s more like she’s gumming him since her teeth are jagged. Knoxville continues the teasing by leaning close and letting her give him kisses before egging her on to go after Ehren.
“You couldn’t have gotten a better dog, babe,” Chris tells me as the guys laugh at Bunny’s strange dislike for Chris’ friend. “Like, she really is the best dog for us and our family,” he adds, kissing my cheek afterward. “And she hates Ehren, which is even better.”
I laugh with Chris at his comment before watching our new pup get to learn all of her disjointed family members. Sure, they don’t live with us, but I have a feeling she’ll be going to every set and house that Chris and I have to go to. Plus, I can tell she’s stolen Johnny and Wee-man’s hearts too.
Looking up over to Jeff’s camera, I smile seeing the camera lens directly aimed at mine and Chris’ smiling faces. I can only hope Jeff wouldn’t put my face in the movie as I have no makeup on right now, but to my dismay, he speaks up. “This is definitely going in the credits scene.”

Surprise, surprise.
Author's note: This is my first ever written one shot. The inspiration popped into my head during my shower. Please let me know what you think. Enjoy
Fluffy one shot.
Part 1.
// Introduction //
A little info about Y/N and Vinnie.
So, you guys met during the first Covid lockdown.
You weren’t really seeing anyone of your friends during this time because you didn’t feel like taking any risks. So the only way for you to interact with anyone, was via social media. Before lockdown you also kind of give up on the idea of finding a lover because the last time you gave it a shot it didn’t work out.
You remember one of your best friends told you ‘’ Once you start focusing on yourself, it’ll come to you. ‘’ Well, what better way to focus on yourself other than during quarantine?
That’s when Vinnie came into the picture.
After many failed attempts of having a normal conversation with serval people, the last thing Vinnie expected was to meet someone like you. A lot of the time people tried to take advantage of the fact that he was famous. They would post his personal info on social media and share their conversations for clout. Just like you, Vinnie was kind of over the idea of meeting someone who would like him for his personality instead of his name.
You guys instantly clicked. It felt like talking to someone you’ve known your entire life. There wasn’t a thing you couldn’t share with another. But because the two of you lived in different time zones you couldn’t talk as much as you’d like, but you made it manageable. There was only one problem; traveling was not an option due to Covid, so the two of you had never seen each other in real life.
Until now…
// End of introduction //
Alex (Warren) set up his camera to make a video.
He clicked on record and looked into the camera.
‘’ So as you guys know, Vinnie and Y/N met online in the beginning of Covid, but they’ve never officially seen each other in real life. Now that traveling is allowed again and Vinnie hasn’t been feeling himself lately, I thought it was a good idea to surprise him. I bought y/n a plan ticket so she can come over and hopefully cheer Vinnie up. And I will document the entire journey. ‘’
// Vinnie’s POV //
It’s noon. I lay on my bed, scrolling on my phone through TikTok. I haven’t heard from Y/N all day. Normally she would call me before going to bed herself, but she never did. I tried texting her but no reply.
Y/NNNN????
Yo bro, you there???
I miss your voiceeee
Please don’t be asleep already 
Pick up!!!!!! Or else I’m coming for you.
God, I wish I could just fly to wherever she was at and kiss her entire face. Because, yes, I am indeed in love with her, and she feels the same way about me. I just never thought I could recognize so much of myself in someone else. She’s the most kind, beautiful and loving person I know, and I can’t wait to hold her in my arms one day and never let go.
I’m starting to daydream about a life with y/n without the long distance, because it truly sucks. Then I hear a knock on the door and before I know it Alex comes rushing in with his camera in his hand.
( Vinnie & Alex )
‘’ Vinnie, say hello to everyone! ‘’
‘’ Hello everyone. Alex what do you want? ‘’
‘’ Why are you assuming I want something from you? ‘’
‘’ Because you only enter my room if you either have one of your crazy ideas to share or if you want me to get involved in something I probably shouldn’t get involved into. ‘’
‘’ Pfft, not true. My ideas aren’t crazy, they’re brilliant in their own way. ‘’
Alex grins at me. Suspiciously.
‘’ Anyways that’s not the point Vincent, I actually came in to see if you would join me to get some groceries because the only thing left are rise waffles and I’m starving. ‘’
Alex is blinking his eyes with the same grin he has had on from the moment he came into my room.
He’s not going to leave until I agree on coming. So before I know it, we’re on our way to the grocery store.
// Y/N’s POV //
I received a text from Alex a few weeks ago. He told me about his idea to surprise Vinnie. I couldn’t be more excited. Ever since Vinnie and I started talking I have pushed many of my personal boundaries. In a positive way. Vinnie has helped me regain trust in others and has showed me that love is real. I have lost my faith in love due to my previous experiences. That’s why the connection that I have with Vinnie is so important to me.
I have arrived at the airport as I turn on my phone. My phone starts to receive all the missed text messages and calls from Vinnie. I smile as I read through them.
‘’ Oh Vin, if only you knew ‘’ I think to myself.
I hear someone yelling my name behind me. As I turn around, I see Nailea running towards me.
Nailea is a close friend of Vinnie so of course she was the first to know about Vinnie’s contact with me. She’s been super kind to me, and I consider her as the sister I never had.
Nailea hugs me once she has approached me.
( Y/N & Nailea )
‘’ OH MY GOD. Girl, I am so happy that you’re finally hereeeee!!! ’’
I laugh as I see people around looking at us.
‘’ I am also very happy to be here. To finally meet everyone. For real. ‘’
‘’ Yea, now tell me, does my nose look bigger on the screen than in real life? ‘’
‘’ Hahaha, no Nai. You look fantastic on the screen and even better in real life. ‘’
Nailea and I take my stuff and walk out of the airport.
Once settled in the car, I receive a text from Alex:
We’re almost at the store. He hasn’t got a clue. See you there.
This is all a part of Alex his big plan. First, I will act like a regular costumer shopping at the same store as Vinnie and Alex. Then once they get back, Alex will distract Vinnie just a little longer, so he won’t notice me walking past the car right away. Brilliant.
// Vinnie’s POV //
Alex and I walk into the store.
‘’ Alright, what do we need? ‘’
‘’ Anything but rise waffles. ‘’
I shake my head, laughing, as I walk to the lemonade aisle.
Alex is taking out his camera and starts filming me from a far.
I start singing Paparazzi by Lady Gaga as I act like I'm hiding from him.
‘’ Oh, you should also take a few cans of coke. ‘’ Alex suggests.
As I walk towards the aisle with cans of lemonade, I notice a girl standing in front of it. Her hair instantly reminds me of Y/N. The exact same length, color and texture. Call me a simp, but I just pay a lot of attention to the girl I love. I slowly approach the girl before Alex attacks be by throwing a teddy bear on my head.
‘’ Hey, watch it! ‘’ I fix my hair.
‘’ Sorry man, I just know how much you like teddy bears. ‘’ Alex’s laughing out loud as he zooms in to my face.
I laugh, as I start to think back to the day Alex thought it would be funny to buy a giant teddy bear and have Patrick in it to scare me.
Just then, I notice the girl was gone. I didn’t see her anywhere else again.
After collecting all the stuff, we needed, we went home.
Once we arrived home, Alex stopped me before I opened my car door.
‘’ Let’s just sit here for a bit and talk about some stuff. ‘’ I stare at Alex with a confused look on my face.
‘’ Yea, because the viewers want to know, how are things going between you and Y/N? ‘’
I scratch the back of my neck and start feeling the heat take over my cheeks.
‘’ I mean, it’s hard sometimes. She’s one of the most important people in my life, yet I haven’t even met her in person. But I just know that once I do, that everything will naturally fall into it’s place. ‘’
Alex pouts as he listens to all the sweet things I have to say.
‘’ You really like her, don’t you? ‘’
‘’ I mean, yea I do. I really do. ‘’
‘’ Alright, so imagine her standing in front of you right now, what would you do? ‘’
I look at my hands as I start to imagine a situation like that.
‘’ Uh… If she was standing in front of me right now.. I would.. ‘’ My eyes scan a figure walking past the car and I couldn’t believe my eyes.
// Y/N’s POV //
Shit, I almost got caught. The plan was to go into the store, just to admire Vinnie from a far. I didn’t plan to stand in the exact aisle, where he needed to get something from. Luckily, Alex had a plan to distract Vinnie while I fled to the exit. Phew, that was close.
Alex texted me, saying they were on their way home. That’s when it hit me, I am going to be able to see, touch and kiss Vinnie for the first time ever. Nailea noticed my anxiety kicking in and she told me everything would be just fine.
It didn’t take long before Alex’s car pulled up on the driveway. Alex and Vinnie stayed in the car for a bit. My phone started buzzing as I read the notification: ‘’ Now!’’ That was my cue.
As nervous as one can be, I walked past the car with the person who’s the other half of my heart in it. I didn’t dare to look in his direction.
// Vinnie’s POV //
I couldn’t believe my eyes. This isn’t real right? Was I dreaming? I mean, I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night because I was worried sick due to Y/N not responding to me anymore.
I rub my eyes as I watch in the direction of the person again and there’s no way it couldn’t be her.
Then she turns her face into my direction and my heart starts pounding. There she is, the love of my life, the only person who can make my day just by popping up in my notifications, Y/N.
As I try to open my door, I hear Alex locking it.
‘’ Let me out! ‘’ I look at Alex as I try to unlock the door, but unable because he keeps his hand infront of the lock.
‘’ You haven’t answered my question yet. ‘’ Alex smirks at me, but I do not find it funny at all.
‘’ Please, let me out and I’ll show you what I would do if she were to stand in front of me ‘’
And with, I heard the door unlock. I jumped out of the car and ran as fast as I could to the person who I longed for the most.

Zhou Ye: The Wonderful Ideas of Lotte Girls // Esquire Fine photoshoot & interview ~ a really wonderful interview with Yezi!
Read rough translation of interview below: https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/lY3oBM51ytlua7S8ZRdmlw
The lively character is like jumping candy, and the crisp voice is like summer honeydew. It can be a cute angel or a rebellious girl. Who wouldn't like a beautiful and free girl? We met Zhou Ye at a claw machine shop, and she caught the one she wanted five times!
Zhou Ye didn't laugh when shooting the magazine blockbuster, but she liked to laugh privately.
In the eyes of the people around, she is a simple and lively little girl, born optimistic, loves to joke, and loves to share all the fun and delicious. After catching up with the good-looking drama, she will also be ambitious to everyone, even if she encounters any troubles, she It will be resolved soon. She denied the title of "Girl's Heart"-when she was not working, she liked to lie at home and chase dramas, and science fiction and fantasy were her dishes. She enthusiastically gave an example. There is an American drama called "Stranger Things". It is about a little boy who disappeared in a small town in the United States. Everyone went to find him and found that there was an entrance to another world, exactly the same as this world. , But there is no one in that world. Such a story attracts her even more.
A few days ago, she took a four-day holiday, "very satisfied!" During the holiday, she made appointments with a few good friends for dinner, went to the playground, and watched dramas. If the vacation is longer, she would prefer to go home and stay with her family. Playing with mom and dad, playing with grandpa and grandmother, the family finds a beautiful place to go camping, and if you don’t go out, you can play mahjong with the whole family. She can stay away from looking at her mobile phone for a day.
Asked this girl who is not so girly what she wants, she said, "Now I want to accomplish everything in the moment, and every day will be better than the day before!"
Therefore, Zhou Ye, who hopes to be more progressive, raised his face and chatted with us about serious matters.
Before, people often said to me, "I like your performance of "Youth", but now everyone talks more about "Shanhe Ling". Let’s start the conversation with "The Order of Mountains and Rivers".
Gu Xiang in the play is a girl who is cold on the outside and warm on the inside. She helped Cao Weining, Zhang Chengling, and the singing sisters, but it didn't mean that she trusted them. She just felt that these people were very pitiful. Because Gu Xiang was picked up by her master when she was a child, she felt sorry for them and wanted to protect them.
She is defensive to everyone, and she will not trust anyone easily. In terms of character, Gu Xiang and I are a bit like. Both are more lively. What we don't quite resemble is our life experience and living environment.
When I first finished reading the script of "The Order of Mountains and Rivers", I loved Gu Xiang from the bottom of my heart. Gu Xiang grew up in Guigu where she was killed and beaten everywhere. Although she was lucky enough to meet Wen Kexing, the master who protected her, the rivers and lakes were sinister and Gu Xiang never really relaxed. Therefore, she can only protect herself by fierce methods. She looks acrimonious, slurs and curses, and she has to fight or kill at every turn. She looks very fierce and cruel, but her heart is really innocent and special. Kindness. When encountering people like Cao Weining, Zhang Chengling, and the singing sister Hua, Gu Xiang will rescue them and help them beat the gangsters.
Many audience friends felt that the ending of Gu Xiang and Cao Weining was too miserable when they watched "The Order of Mountains and Rivers". Gu Xiang originally didn't know what the outside world was like. After she came to the world, she met Big Brother Cao, and the two people who loved each other were about to be happy. Unexpectedly, on the day of the wedding, Gu Xiang lost her lover so much that she would fight herself Life. I am also uncomfortable with this ending. It is not easy for them to get to this day. Why can't they live well? If I were to write an ending, it would definitely be two people living together happily forever.
For me, playing Gu Xiang should be more difficult than playing. This is my first time shooting a costume drama, and also my first time shooting a martial arts drama. "Shanhe Ling" really has a lot of martial arts, because it tells the story of the rivers and lakes, so I joined the group some time before I started, and learned some moves from the martial arts masters.
In retrospect, the scene of the wedding was the most memorable. I had been shooting for three days in a row. I had been beating, killing, and hanging off Wia, and I would beat off some hair accessories from my hair. I didn't dare to hang on Wia at first, and the costume was so thick that I could easily trip on my feet. But I can’t take care of this when I shoot. This is Gu Xiang’s most emotional scene. I feel the same for Gu Xiang and can’t help crying. Until the end of my cry, I can’t tell whether my face is tears or saliva. , I hope that through this scene, everyone can feel Gu Xiang’s pain.
For me at this stage, whether it is a role that is more similar to myself or a completely different role, I am willing to give it a try. If the character of a character is very pleasing, I will have a sense of substitution when I read the script, I will like it, and I will really want to play it.
In fact, my interest in acting began after I was in college. When I was a child, I learned piano, and I was not very sensible at that time. I thought it would be fine to play the piano every day after growing up and collect tickets. After being admitted to the Beijing Film Academy, we often watch movies. When the directors see their favorite movies, they will think "I can make such a great movie in the future". I am in the acting department, so I hope I can do it in the future. Acting in a particularly powerful movie may be the influence of the school atmosphere. I still remember that I watched some old movies when I was in school. I really liked "Scent of a Woman" and Marlon Brando. He played "The Godfather" very well.
In the film school, we had a lot of opportunities to meet the director and the crew. We tried again and again, and slowly met scenes that were willing to use our young actors, and started the road to filming. I will definitely read the script several times before filming. In addition to my own role, I have to read the whole story, write a short biography of the character, and talk to everyone at the script reading meeting. For example, when shooting "Ah Cradle", I often consulted sister Haiqing and the director. In the filming of "Youth in Youth", I would also ask the director: The girl I played has such a good family, why does she bully her classmates? The director told me that because her parents had very strict education for her, she was required to be particularly good since she was a child. She was under tremendous pressure and kept suppressing it, so she vented the pressure by bullying her classmates.
When taking the play, I don't worry about people comparing my previous works or achievements, as long as my requirements for myself will not change. My request is to do my best to shape each role. Every time I finish filming a film, I will have a certain evaluation of myself, and I will also look at other people's evaluations of me, as well as the opinions given to me by my predecessors, to integrate these. Every time, I hope I can do better next time.
Up to now, I have been shooting for a few years, and I feel that I am not a talented actor, and I have to be a model worker. However, the sisters who brought me to the management team said that my biggest change and improvement is that I am more independent than before. When I first started filming, I would hide in the room and cry by myself every time I joined the group, especially wanting to go home.
Now I am more comfortable with the life of the crew than before. When I first joined the group, I still felt a little homesick. I hope to finish the filming soon, and become familiar with everyone. After work, I will play with the actors in the same group. When I was resting, I was playing with werewolf killing or something, so happy, I didn't want to kill it. I didn't want to be successful when I was filming "Shanhe Ling", and the same was true when filming "Ah Cradle". As actors, it seems that we can go to different places every time we film. In fact, there is not much time to spend in the local area, but we can eat a lot of local delicacies.
As I said just now, I want to do everything right now, and the current week is the best week.
Do you often dream? Please share a dream that is more imaginative.
Zhou Ye:
I sometimes dream. Once, I dreamed that I received an acceptance letter from an owl, took the Hogwarts Express train to the magic school to learn magical magic, visited Hogsmeade Village, and met so many new friends. .
What is your dream day like? How to spend it?
Zhou Ye:
At this stage, my dream day is to sleep in late, and after waking up, I will lie in bed and watch a drama or hang out with my friends or watch a drama.
How to arrange the dream holiday? Stay at home or go out to play?
Zhou Ye:
Of course, it is best to have two days, so you can stay at home one day and go out to play one day!
What about the journey of your dreams? With whom, where to go, and how to play?
Zhou Ye:
With your family, you can go to the beach or play paragliding.
What is your dream job announcement?
Zhou Ye:
Go to Universal Studios to shoot hahahaha, I really want to go!
What kind of "dream skills" do you want to have?
Zhou Ye:
Teleport!
Which era is the dream era? why?
Zhou Ye:
Now, now is the best time. Grasp the moment.

SPOILERS, so read at your own risk ;)
There are so many things I absolutely loved about the Black Widow movie it would be insane to try and mention all of them, but I'm going to hit some of my favorites:
Firstly, we get to really see Nat shine as a fully fleshed out and relatable character, rather than obligatory female member and eye candy.
She doesn't like letting people get close to her because when she does, she tends to love them with all her heart and will do anything for them. So when they betray her or are taken away, the pain is so overwhelming that it's easier to try and forget them, and keep everyone else at a distance. But even after all that time has passed, you can see she never really let her loved ones go; they were always in her heart and she will always love them (something I can relate to).
And it's not just her family she cares about. She cares about other people, even the ones who try to kill her. She tried to save that first Widow that went after them - grab her before she fell, and then tried to administer first aide. When she sees that there are more girls enslaved, she risks her life to get their information so they can be freed. She doesn't leave Antonia in her cell to die, but lets her out, and then frees her by using one of the few remaining Red Dust cures, which was a risk because they could have needed it in order to create more, and she couldn't have known for sure it would work on Antonia.
Nat shows that compassion and mercy are not weaknesses, but the ultimate strengths.
But she's not without flaws, flaws and regrets that still haunt her. You see the relief in her eyes when she realizes she didn't kill Antonia, but then the guilt of knowing it was her fault she was turned into Taskmaster. To me, it sounded like she was apologizing for both. And it's those feelings of guilt and regret and the need to apologize that really make her human.
And then we see the other Widows take Antonia with them. My bestie put it like this: "Girls helping other girls regardless of what they've been through or done is really so universally powerful."
I love how the underlying themes of family, pain, guilt, mercy, compassion, and inner strength were so prominent in this film and yet, it wasn't preachy. I feel like the best messages are the ones that show rather than tell.
Now onto the not so heavy things I loved:
(Okay, this one is kinda heavy), Loved that despite having been apart for so long, Nat and Yelena easily fall back into being sisters. It's how I am with mine and the film was able to portray that so well.
Love how much of dork Yelena is about her vest and it's pockets. Actually, love how much of a dork Yelena is period. With her disgust of 'poses', blunt observations, and comments on whether something is a cool way to die. (and another slightly heavy love - the fact that she got her dog and named it after the alias Nat pointedly disliked).
Red Guardian being a horrible dad but still trying so hard anyway, because he loves his family and refuses to give up.
All the action scenes. Seriously. Love those action scenes. But also really appreciate the pacing that allowed the characters and audience to breathe.
Melina being the best mom. Every moment she has is a Best Mom moment.
Costumes were amazing. (I want that vest, including all the pockets).
That the director was a woman. Yes to more female directors!
The witty dialogue between all the characters in every scene. Seriously, none of those jokes let me down and had me laughing so hard.
The fact that we get to see a low-key call back to Nat's introduction in Avengers where she pretends to be helpless in order to get the bad guys to reveal their 'diabolical plans'. Works every time.
Still am super sad that Nat Black Widow is dead in the MCU, but I'm thrilled she got to go off on a super high note.
...
Soooo, there actually was one thing I didn't like (but it certainly didn't ruin the movie for me, I am going to watch it again and again and get so much merch).
But I had a problem with Taskmaster.
To me, Taskmaster had the potential to be Marvel's Thrawn (a different sort of main threat that forces the established heroes to struggle in ways they haven't had to before and defeat said threat using new skills). So to treat Taskmaster as more of a throwaway cameo character was disappointing. Because honestly, the story doesn't need them. They could have been swapped with any random Widow and the plot would have stayed exactly the same - having Taskmaster in the movie doesn't add to the story in any way. So I'm hoping Marvel will have someone else take on the mantle and we really get to see them as a major threat.
But other than that, THE MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!! 9/10 from me. It has become one of my top three best/favorite Marvel movies for me, alongside Captain America: the First Avenger and Black Panther.

Anita Mui In Anita: What Made Her A Hong Kong Super Superstar: 1963-2003
What makes a superstar? The answer is hungry. Most people are hungry, but not hungry enough. Superstars, first and foremost, are self-driven with Lorentz force to succeed. They are assertive and aggressive. Hard work and sacrifice run in the blood.
A superstar is born with natural charms. He or she has the unconquerable stealth to captivate others by connecting emotionally.
We are drawn to superstars. We cannot get enough of them. For the superstars in Hong Kong, there were 2, Leslie Cheung (張國榮) who died in April 2003 and Anita Mui (梅艷芳) who also died in December of the same year, that we are never able to pinpoint what single aspect making them so powerfully enthralling, but they spiritually stay with us forever.
Leslie and Anita were overwhelmingly popular in Asia in the 80s. They were good friends and often together. They sang and acted like inborn teammates surreptitiously admiring each other. One should not miss their best film made in 1988 called Rouge (胭脂扣) in which a handsome rich young man and a mesmerizing girl prostitute fell in love but as they stood against the world, suicide became the sad option for them. Leslie got a very good boyfriend but for some reason that nobody could explain, he jumped down from a hotel at the age of 46. Contrastingly, Anita wanted love despairingly but she could get none. She died alone of cervical cancer at the age of 40. Life is a situation in which there is a weird force of nature that we cannot run away.
Anita (梅艷芳) is a 2021 Hong Kong biographical film about this Cantopop superstar Anita Mui directed by my junior schoolmate of Ying Wa College Longman Leung, telling in fine details her heart-rending life from childhood until her last moments. The film features an ensemble cast inclusive of Louis Koo and Gordon Lam in supporting roles. Production of the biopic started as early as in 2010s when Bill Kong, president of Edko Films, bravely decided to invest in this unusual project to commemorate his unforgettable friend Mui’s eventful existence. It took 6 years or more to finish such an intensively charming historical figure’s drama. Luckily, the film has nabbed the top spot at the Asian box office. Longman told me, “Pain is the first path to accomplishing. To make such a nostalgic film, years of research had to be spent on the fact-finding of stories, characters, costume, makeup, props, music and street scenes. Oh, my god!”
Not having a husband, Anita’s mother, who was an entertainment manager, took the 4-year-old Anita and her elder sister to sing in a local amusement park called Lai Yuen in the 1960s. Anita received no formal education. A long succession of boring days and nights of singing made her nobody. In 1982, when Anita was 18, she won a TV singing contest organized by the biggest station HKTVB because of her exceptionally attractive performance. She got an adorable voice which is low-pitched, unisex, dramatic and confident, and soon became a delight in the sweeping speed of 2 years that people in Hong Kong were in awe of. She was the Asia’s counterpart of Madonna enjoying the same degree of popularity. She honestly admitted that the need for a personable and greater man was like a fire that she could not put out. Pitiably, she was defeated by love, either due to being mismatched or bad timing, again, again and again…. All her love stories, together with supporting juicy photos, were talks of the town.
Her region-wide story is her secret date with the top singer in Japan Masahiko Kondo(近藤真彦) around 1984 and Masahiko did turn up in Anita’s funeral to bid farewell in 2004. The other piece of news which was hot off the press was her quarrel with a man of mysterious background and the incident deteriorated into the mysterious murder of 2 men apparently involved in it. This unhappy conflict fatalistically marks her gravity gradually downslope in the singing career. Anita thus switched to devote more time to serving the community and performing industries as a volunteer. She was the Chairman of Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild.
I had been the Honourary Legal Advisor of the Guild for many years ago and so worked with Anita. She talked about business slowly and softly. She fixed her eyes on yours firmly and never wavered her belief. She celebrated many evening parties in her huge house but I, of course, was not adequately good to be invited.
It was said that the most important tool that one has in his entire arsenal is integrity. In matters of principle, Anita Mui always stood like a rock. Her natural leadership is the charisma of getting all of us to do good things that she wanted done. I really would like to tell you more about Anita but I do need a long memory. Thanks to the touching movie Anita for reminding me of beautiful things that I missed out and took up such memories with the present Hong Kong. Alas, Hong Kong is not the same anymore; but I love being in a city with good weather.

Hiii do you mind writing about the reader who's three years younger than tom and she's his co-star, they have a sibling-like bond and tom constantly likes to annoy her on set??
oh my goddddddddd oh my god oh my god i loved this 😭
“tom, get out!” you squeal as he chases you around your trailer. he barged in with a water gun and hasn’t stopped shooting you with it. “don’t you have, like, work to do?” you’re trying to block your face while you run. “i don’t, actually. it’s my break!” tom happily informs you. he corners you in and squirts more water, leaving you drenched.
it’s your last week on set of no way home, which you’ve learned is the designated prank week. you’re new to the group, and no one thought to prepare you. you’d found out when you caught jacob sticking a whoopie cushion on your chair. he’d told you let the pranking begin before scurrying off.
the whole cast and crew participates, especially tom. he’s the leader of it all. he usually likes to play his tricks on harry because he has the best reactions. plus, he lives for bugging his brothers. this time around, harry stayed back in london, so tom had to get himself a new target. that would be you.
it makes sense, considering the fact that you’re like a little sister to him. tom wasn’t sure how to feel about having a younger castmate at first. he’d worried you might not fit in or get along with everyone else. thankfully, the reverse happened. everyone fell in love with you the moment you’d all met. you were open to hearing any advice they had, eager to please on set, and joked around a bunch.
you’d quickly become part of the spidey fam.
tom pretty much took you under his wing, since you spend so much time together. you’re playing one of peter’s classmates. of course, most of your scenes are with him. that includes some stunt sequences, which he’s extra protective over you when you film. he constantly makes sure you’re okay, and reminds jon to go easy on you.
the only time tom isn’t caring and sweet is when he’s teasing the hell out of you. for example, right now.
“damn, it’s out,” tom huffs, tossing his empty water gun on your couch. he chuckles at the sour face you’re making. “i really got you, didn’t i?” your clothes are so wet, they’re dripping onto the floor. “no, i like my shirts see through,” you quip back. “and stop laughing! wardrobe isn’t gonna find this funny.”
tom waves his hand dismissively. “love, it’s water. they have to wash your costume anyway, right?” you roll your eyes in response, biting back a smile. “you’re just giving them a head start,” he concludes with a pat on your shoulder. you let yourself grin this time. “aw, you have an answer for everything. how about you explain this to them?”
“sure,” tom hums. “about when do you wanna pop over?” “now, i guess,” you sigh, starting to ring out the hem of your top. he checks his watch and hisses. “ooh, i can’t. i’m due back on set in a bit.“ your mouth drops open, and he earns a slap at his chest. “tom! you did this to me! the least you can-“ “relax! ‘s a joke.” he holds up his hands in defense.
“you’re literally the most annoying person i know,” you tell him lightheartedly. tom puts a hand on his heart in mock offense. “be a little nicer to the guy who’s gonna save your ass.” giving your damp shirt another ring, you scoff. “my ass wouldn’t need to be saved if the guy in question wasn’t so annoying.” “hey, i’m not that bad,” he mumbles back.
you look around the trailer for your regular clothes. you’ll change into those before giving back the ones tom ruined.
“yeah, i know. it’s a joke,” you repeat his words from before with a smirk. he points a finger at you. “touché.” “seriously, though. why am i the only one you’ve pranked?” you wonder, gathering your socks and sneakers. “tony seems pretty into this, or even z. do them.” tom watches you lace up your shoes and smiles to himself.
“the others can’t handle it like you do. they’d probably tattle on me to jon,” he jokes, finally getting a laugh from you. “and, because i love you.” “you have a weird way of showing it.” you finish tying your laces with a shake of your head. tom gives you a look. “love you, too,” you correct yourself. his look settles into a fond one, holding open his arms. “c’mere, then.”
“nah, i don’t wanna get you wet,” you decline, just to irritate him. it works, tom exhaling a frustrated breath. “so? it’s only fair. i’ll deserve it after the lashing wardrobe gives you.” “you said they wouldn’t care!” you gasp and storm back over to him. once a little giggle slips out of him, you stop in your tracks. “kidding... again,” tom clarifies. he keeps his arms out for you.
“jesus,” you mutter, but accept the hug nevertheless. you wind your arms around his neck, his going around your middle. you’re sure to bring tom in close so the water from your shirt gets on him. it’s not as successful as you’d hoped it would be. it’s still satisfying, though. tom gives you one final squeeze that makes you feel like you can’t breathe.
“happy prank week, y/n.”

Say no to this.
Henry x Reader (wife) x Reader (the other woman)
Triggers: Angst; cheating, breakup, divorce (and crying).
A/N: This was inspired by two songs from the musical Hamilton: Say No to This and Burn, and it’s told from the perspective of the characters (Henry, Reader (Wife), Reader (the other woman)
You can find more of my writings in the Masterlist
Having the chance to portray one of his favourite characters is an honour for which Henry will forever be thankful. Yet, he must admit that having to spend time apart from his family was not an easy task.
He sat on the bed in the dark hotel room, only enlightened by the moonlight. On his phone screen, he saw the picture you’ve sent him earlier that day of you and your daughter playing, you dressed as a princess and the six-year-old as a dragon. “Oh, your mighty witcher, come and save me, please,” read the message under the picture. Henry missed dressing up in costumes and running around the house with his little angel, who would laugh uncontrollably every time he caught and started to tickle her.
It’s been over two months since he left for work; 60 plus days without feeling the lovely touch of your hands on his face, too much time without feeling the warmness of your body against his.
He laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling for an hour, unable to sleep when his phone announced that he had a new message.
“Are you awake? I can’t sleep,” y/n wrote. She was a friend he made on the set of the show - she worked as a personal assistant for one of the recurrent directors of the show and she was staying at the same hotel that Henry. “Yes. Can’t sleep either. Come if you want,” he replied, thinking that some company would help him to feel less lonely.
Fifteen minutes later there was a knock on the door. Henry opened the door and invited y/n to come in. Once inside, she faced him and smiled as she showed him the content of her bag: a PS and The Witcher 3 game. “I know you’re more into pc, but l don’t have a gaming pc here, so we will have to play with this, okay,” she said grinning.
“I remember you saying that you were good at this,” y/n while rolling her eyes, teasing him. “I am, but in the pc,” Henry defended himself with a playful smile.
They played the game for two hours before she suggested that it might be time for her to leave. Henry tried to disconnect the console from the tv but she told him to keep it, for now, so he could keep practising.
“Well, good night. I hope you can have a good sleep and tomorrow enjoy your free day,” y/n told him. “Same for you,” he said goodbye, but neither of them moved. They stared at each other for a long minute in silence. Henry’s hands reached for her face bringing it closer to his, culminating in a passionate kiss, while her arms embraced him.
Her naked body, covered only by the bed-sheets rested on the mattress as she slept. Henry looked at her for a moment and then walked towards the bathroom. He washed his face on the sink and then stared at the mirror, finding it hard to recognize the person that was reflected in the mirror. “I promise you that I will be forever faithful to you, my love” he once promised you, his lovely wife, and now the words echoed inside his mind, as stabs on his heart.
How could had he broken the promise he made you? Did he not loved you any more? No, that was sure of that, he loved you more than he had ever done. You no only made him happy and supported him through tough times, but you also gave him the thing that he treasured the most in the world: his daughter. But, he had to be honest with himself, for the first time in a long time and admit that things were not as they used to be. Before the birth of the little girl, you used to be inseparable. You would go with him everywhere in the world, game and laugh and made love every second you could. Now, you were parents; your lives centred on the precious angel and work and were often too tired and since the kid would like to sleep with you, often lacked intimacy.
The worst part of all: he wished that he could say that it was a one time mistake, but it became an affair that lasted for months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You hated yourself. In the past, you’d constantly criticized “the other woman” for being malicious women who stole men from others. Now you had become one of them. Well, no completely. Sure, you were carrying an affair with a married man, but you weren’t a fool, you knew that you would never be able to “stole” anyone and he would never leave his wife for you; he never made such a promise and you knew him well enough to know that he loved his family more than anything in the world and he was being vulnerable due to the distance between his true woman and him. Were you a bad woman for being with a taken man knowing that he was in such a delicate emotional position? Maybe, but to be completely honest, so were you. Months before you met Henry, your fiancé cancelled the wedding because he had fallen in love with somebody else. You were feeling lonely and undesired and you had developed a crush on him before that first night. So, you didn’t find the strength to fight the desire and succumb to the temptation.
Every night you’ve spent together, with his strong arms embracing you as his lips caressed your body, felt amazing no matter how wrong it was. And, even if your heart ripped every time you remembered that he wasn’t truly yours - and you were reminded of that constantly, since there was no a single time in which he hadn’t unconsciously said his wife’s name as he reached climax, you couldn’t find it in you to put it a stop.
You knew that this would have a bad end. No matter the outcome, someone would get hurt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That day, your sister offered to take care of your six-year-old so you could have some time to yourself to process things.
Desperate to get some distance and to be alone, you rented a small cabin outside the city.
The sun was coming down when you lifted a bonfire outside the place and sat in front of it with a box that you’ve carried there moments before.
Your fingers caressed every picture - of your first date, your first anniversary as girlfriend and boyfriend; vacations, birthdays and even your wedding. Every photo would get wet with your tears before you threw them into the fire. All objects that reminded of the love you once shared, ended up becoming ashes. Letters, poems, teddy bears, roses that you dried; everything. The only surviving things were the pictures you shared with your daughter, but you would make sure to send them to his mother because you didn’t want to see them any more, the pain was too great.
Finally, you took from your pocket the pictures you printed before to look at them for one last time. They were screenshots from a celebrity news website and the headline read “The Witcher star Henry Cavill is seen kissing a mystery woman”, followed by paparazzi photos of him with someone on the balcony of his hotel room. Angrily, you crashed the prints and let them burn into they became nothing.
With nothing more to do, you watched the flames, as you let your tears fall, feeling completely and utterly broken.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The production was over. After the news crashed, Henry had to continue filming, pretending that nothing happened, while some people looked at him as if he was a monster. Could he blame them for that?
When the article about his affair was published, his brother Charlie was the one who delivered the bad news - his stepdaughter had seen it and told him about it.
He didn’t know what to do. He called his wife over and over, but she never answered. All-day long he tried to communicate with his love, but every time without luck.
Y/N tried to call him, too, but this time he was the one who ignored the call. He had nothing against her. Henry knew that she could no be blamed for his mistake, but he couldn’t talk to her right now. His wife was his priority.
Unfortunately, the only response he got from her was from her sister, two days later, letting him know that she was going to file for a divorce and she never wanted to see him or talk to him again. That she would only allow him to contact her, through her or another family member and elusively for things related to their daughter. She was going to share custody with him, but he would have to pick up and leave the girl on her sister or parent’s house.
Now, months later, he driving to his sister-in-law’s house to pick up his daughter and to leave the divorce papers that he had to sing.
There were no words to explain how much it hurt him to lose the woman he loved deeply. The only consolation was that his family continued to show him love and support as they always did. And, his daughter, unaware of the reason why her mommy and daddy decided to go separate ways, still love him enormously and would fill him with joy every minute of every day that he had her.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was obvious that there was no going to be a good end to the affair - it never does. You knew someone would get hurt, but you’d never imagined that it would be all three of you.
Terrible didn’t even begin to explain how bad you felt. Of all the three of you, you were the one who got it the “best”, since luckily the pictures only showed your hair in a bun and your back, so only a few close people knew that it was you and they were polite enough to keep the secret to avoid you getting harassed. Although, just in case, you dried your hair and got a new haircut.
Henry’s wife filed for the divorce after she found out about the affair. He let you know via text when he put an end to things and told you he could no longer see you. Even if there was no chance to get back with her, he couldn’t be with you because he loved her too much and you reminded him of the mistake he made. As he suggested, you continued working for a few more weeks there to avoid people finding out that it was you, but later quit.
That was by far the worst mistake that you’ve ever made. So much people got hurt; a girl now has two parents that can’t be in the same room, two people who loved each other who can’t be together because the ghost of you would always be present to remind them of the mistake and a person who’s affection was never truly corresponded and caused the break of a family.
Therapy has been truly beneficial in helping you heal and leaving the past in the past.
Today a new article about Henry was posted online. It consisted of pictures of him and his cute girl buying a Christmas tree and he was laughing at his daughter's funny faces.

Thomas Shelby X Modern!Reader
Tumblr media
I feel like everyone really likes my modern readers haha.
I took this as, a reader who makes a lot of references, and dresses different, but is also sensitive to the fact he’s been in the war
Also i chose the black country museum cause it’s where part of peaky blinders is filmed and it’s actually an open museum, it’s pretty cool, i’d recommend visiting if any of y’all are in england
Also wasn’t asked for in the request but I liked the idea of the reader having a PhD in medicine
Part 2 anyone?
Tumblr media
You didn’t know quite how you’d gotten there.
After all, one moment you’d been wandering through the Black Country Museum, taking pictures and talking about how’d it had been used for filming when another second someone had come crashing into you, knocking you to the floor
They reached down to pick you up quickly, an apology falling from their lips, and you heard the Birmingham accent
“It’s no problem, really, I wasn’t looking where I was going” And you looked up, pausing as your eyes met that of Cillian Murphy, and you paused slightly, seeing he was in costume, and when you looked around, worrying you’d stumbled into set, you realised it was suddenly busier than before.
“Are you alright?” He asks, before noticing your clothing, frowning at the way you were dressed.
You turned back to him, taking in a deep breath, nodding slightly
“Yes, yes of course, sorry” You stutter, taking out your phone, when you noticed you had no signal, or WIFI, which was strange considering there was 4G before
The man stared down at the device
“What’s that?” He asked, and you looked up at him frowning
“What this?” You asked, and then you took a step back
“Oh shit” You said, and he looked taken aback, and you turned around
“Oh shit oh no this isn’t good” You mumbled to yourself, realising just what had happened
“Miss, are you sure you’re alright?” He asks, and you spin around
“You’re Thomas Shelby” You mutter, and he pauses.
“Yes, I am, do, do I know you?” He asks, but knowing he would of remembered a face like yours
“I uh, no not exactly” You say, and he looks even more confused, before placing a hand on your shoulder
“Look, you, might of bumped your head when you fell, look my aunt can come take a look at ya, make sure you’re alright?” He asks, and you nod
“Uh yeah, maybe I hit my head” You mutter, and he beckons for you to follow, and shortly you’re at his house, he opens the door, letting you enter and you mumble a thanks
“Polly! Got a girl ‘ere!” He shouts, and a woman’s voice called back
“I don’t care who yer bringin’ to bed Tommy!” She shouts, and he almost falters
“She hit her head” He calls, and a woman appears in the doorway, but you know who it is.
“Well what did ya do to her Tommy?” She asks, and he explains he’d ran into you and she demands you sit down, glancing at your clothes while giving Thomas a look which he nods at, as they both enter the kitchen, and you know they’re discussing you
She soon comes out hold a glass of water, handing it to you
“Here dear, Thomas is never aware of his surroundings, now let’s take a look at that head” She says, and you suddenly blurt out
“I’m from the future” You say, and they both pause
“Well dear, I think you definitely hit your head” She confirms and you shake your head
“I’m serious I- I’m from 2020″ You say, and they watch you
“It’s 1919″ Thomas says watching you, and you nod
“Yes I know it is for you, I-” You say, how are you going to get them to believe them and then you remembered.
“The guns” You splutter out, and Thomas freezes, shooting Polly a look, and he stares at you
“How’d you fuckin’ know about that” He demands, and you told him
“I said, I’m from the future, I know what’s happened and is gonna happen” You say
“Who told you about the guns, who are you working for?” He asks, and you know he doesn’t believe you
“You were going to use them as leverage, but you made a deal with Campbell, and- and your sister, Ada, she’s pregnant, with the communist, Freddie” You say, and Polly freezes, looking at Thomas
“She couldn’t of known that Tommy” She says, and Thomas sits down
“So, you’re from the future” He says, and you nod
“Well then, this is gonna be fucking weird” He says
You spent the rest of the day telling them some basics of what happens in the future, brushing lightly over the subject of WWII, and you can see Tommy tense
“Another one?” He asks, and you nod lightly
“It’s worse this time” You whisper, and he leans back, a cigarette hanging from his mouth.
You mention the virus outbreak, telling him about new technology, and things that have changed.
Polly asked about your clothes, and you told her women rarely wear dresses 24/7 and she almost looks surprised when you tell her any woman could vote, regardless of whether they were under 30, like was required in the recently passed 1918 law, as long as you were over 18 anyone was allowed
And not only that, women were allowed men’s jobs.
“Education is free, until 18, then you can go to university” You say, and Thomas looks at you
“You go to university?” He asked, and you nodded
“I’m a doctor” You say, and they both look surprised.
“Dr. y/n l/n” You informed them, and he nodded
“Well, I take it you don’t have anywhere to go?” He asked, and you shook your head as he looked at Polly
“She could be useful, she’s smart too” Polly said, and Thomas nods, before turning to you
“You can stay here” He says, and you let out a sigh of relief, thanking him, and he looked at your clothes
“Ya, can’t wear that, nor can you go round talking about all this future stuff, unles you wanna get locked up, and- men are gonna treat you rude, they don’t know about all this equality stuff” He says, as an afterthought and you nod
“No smart mouthing, no modern clothes, no future talk, standard fit in woman” You say, and he almost looks embarrassed to nod.
“Perfect” Polly says, as she beckons
“Come on dear, lets get you some clothes, don’t worry you can keep those, I should have a dress that’ll fit you” She says, as you get dragged to her room
It’s been a few weeks since you’d arrived. And with no idea of how you can get back, Thomas had allowed you to help with the betting.
After all, you were smart, you could easily, and do maths well.
Polly had a feeling he’d grown soft on you. She could see it in the way he looked at you, protective when a man would comment on your features. And quick to be by your side if you felt uncomfortable
It was common knowledge now that you were Thomas’ property
The comments lessening, men flirting had stopped, and instead gave you nods of the head as you passed.
You were practically part of the family. Polly loved you, so did Ada, making you tell her everything about the future, telling her where’d you’d travelled too as Thomas listened from a chair, pretending to be uninterested. When instead he was watching the way the firelight framed your face as you laughed
He still had nightmares
And one night it was bad.
You’d heard it, and you didn’t want to listen to it. So you’d crept out of bed, pushing open the door to his room, kneeling by the bed as you shook him awake gently
And he shot forward, sweat dripping from his forehead as his eyes went wide, adjusting in the dark until they landed on you
“What are you-” He asked, as you pressed a hand on his
“You were having a nightmare” You whispered, and he apologised
“You don’t have to be sorry for anything” You say, and he shrugged.
“I didn’t mean to wake you, go back to sleep” He said, and you shook your head before hesitating.
“You know... Thomas, sleeping next to some can produce oxytocin, which reduces stress.... And nightmares” You suggest, and wait for his reaction, he looks at you, before shuffling to the side
“If you wanted to get in bed with me you just had to ask” He whispered, trying to make light of the situation as you climbed into his bed, laughing softly
Your head lays on the pillow as he watches you
“You can go to sleep” You say, and he hesitates, sighing as a hand reaches out, pulling at your waist, surprising you as he pulls you into his chest, resting a chin on your head
“I know” He whispers
You fall asleep in his arms, and when he wakes up he smiles at you
“I didn’t have another nightmare”

My Time with Doris Day: An Interview with Mary Anne Barothy By Constance Cherise
Tumblr media
In 2012, Robert Osborne interviewed a spry 90-year-old, Doris Day. He, of course, asked all the correct questions a true Day fan would be curious about: when she realized she could sing, how her career in film began and did she consider her serendipitous life to be destiny. A vibrant and gracious Day revealed that she wasn’t nervous when it came to performing, and if you have seen her first film ROMANCE ON THE HIGH SEAS (‘48), her organic ease fits like the exact correct puzzle piece.
Although she passed almost two years ago, fans the world over still celebrate her iconic status. One of those fans is a public speaker on all things Doris, author of Day at a Time: An Indiana Girl's Sentimental Journey to Doris Day's Hollywood and Beyond, Mary Anne Barothy. Her fortune ironically played out like a classic Hollywood script, much like the beginnings of Day’s career. A devotee of Day since childhood, threads of fate connected and Barothy would find herself rubbing shoulders with Hollywood's elite, astonishingly becoming Day’s live-in secretary, maintaining an active friendship from 1967-1974.
What was a typical day with Doris like?
Mary Anne Barothy: I lived with Doris in her Beverly Hills home after her TV show [The Doris Day Show] filming ended - December 1972 and ran through June of 1973 on CBS. Her bedroom was just opposite mine in the back. Mine was the front bedroom. She slept with seven of her dogs, and I slept with the other four – Bobo, Charlie, Rudy and Schatzie. She would get up and come into the kitchen where I often fixed her breakfast. Doris loved her dogs and spent time playing with them both indoors and out. Many days she would get ready and bike down to Nate 'N Al's Deli for a late breakfast and many times would meet someone, or we would go together for breakfast. Doris loved her fans, and she was very good about answering her fan mail.
As you know, her passion was animal welfare and she kept up with Actors & Others for Animals and frequently attended board meetings. I went with her and was also a proud member of Actors & Others for Animals. In the summer she would swim in her pool on occasion. She would call friends and once in a while meet someone for lunch or dinner. After dinner, sometimes we would sit in one section of her living room and watch the news. Doris was very down to earth; as I said, she was like a big sister to me. To me, this was an incredible dream come true! It is still hard to believe that I had this awesome opportunity to spend precious time with my idol, Doris Day!
Tumblr media
The designer Irene dressed her in high fashion. Did she have a favorite costume/gown?
MB: She never spoke about that, but she looked good in a bathrobe. She just had a way of radiating, looking beautiful no matter what she had on. She always said CALAMITY JANE [‘53] was her favorite movie because she was kind of a tomboy. She never came across that way except for in movies, but she liked to be comfortable. She would ride her bike with shorts on and look very casual and comfortable. I always told her she could put on a paper bag and look good!
Now that she's passed, what would she want the world to know about her if anything?
MB: She was a down to earth person and I think some people think celebrity is high and mighty because they are in the movies, and I'd say a religious person without talking about church all the time. She had a passion for animal welfare and that was very important to her and she'd been that way apparently since she was a young person. She just enjoyed life and her friends. She wasn't one for “I've got to be seen here and I've got to do this.” Her work was her work, she'd go to the studio to do what she had to do and that was it.
Your book recounts so many extraordinary memories including that of a conversation with Elvis. If you had to choose one pinch-me moment, what would it be?
MB: When Doris called me and asked me to come work with her. The Christmas she invited me to stay. The fact that she trusted me was so special.
What was it like waking up in your idol’s home walking outside of your room and thinking I live here now?
MB: It was surreal because I wasn't just staying a night or two, I’m staying here to the fact that I changed my address over. It was all like a movie. Here I am, actually living with her! It was meant to be. She was like a big sister. She made me feel welcome.
Do you have any memorabilia?
MB: I have some clothes she gave me. My favorite one is the hat she wore when she met me. She gave it to me and then another hat from a movie, a skirt, and top from THE GLASS BOTTOM BOAT [1966]. She gave me a ring and an autographed Christian Science book, and that is special. I’ve got many letters and cards she gave me over the years. (Barothy reads a card) “Thanks for doing your own Christmas shopping. I love you Mairzy Doats, you’re the best there is! Always, your friend Clara.” And on the other side, it says, “Merry Christmas from the kids too!” – the dogs. “Mairzy Doats,” she’d sing that once in a while. I’ve saved a lot of these things. Of course, when I do my talks, I use copies.
Tumblr media
What was Beverly Hills like then?
MB: To me, Beverly Hills, when I lived with Doris Day in her home, was a much more  relaxed city, almost small townish. Doris could ride her bike from her home four blocks down to either Bailey's Bakery or the classic Beverly Hills deli, Nate N 'Al's on Beverly Drive. No paparazzi – that would never happen today. I would see Barbara Stanwyck and Fred Astaire at the Beverly Hills Post Office, saw Rosalind Russell at Ralph's grocery, and would see Loretta Young at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. People appeared to live pretty normal lives. Beverly Hills was a welcoming community and a fun place to be, especially since I was living with Doris in her home.
What would Doris think of the world today?
MB: I think Doris would be concerned about the direction we seem to be going in. Doris was a very religious person without going to church. I learned a lot from her. With people being out of work these days, I think Doris would be very concerned about the welfare of dogs and cats and all animals. As you know, she was a strong animal advocate and was one of the founders of Actors & Others for Animals. When she moved to Carmel, California, she started her own foundation, The Doris Day Animal Foundation, and animal welfare was her number one priority.
Looking back, does it seem like this all really happened to you?
MB: Yeah, it kinda seems surreal, and friends that are big Doris fans, just say, how did that happen? I just followed my dream and that is why when I give talks, I tell people to follow your dream, don't say oh I could have or I should have; if you really believe in something go for it. All I can say it was meant to be. I drove my parents crazy and drove my teachers crazy, but I got what I wanted. I never would have dreamed that all of this would happen. I mean talk about a dream come true...unreal! “It really happened, I'm not making it up, I’ve got pictures to prove it!”
What are your plans for the future?
MB: I look forward to getting back on the road again to share my “Dream Story With Doris Day” presentations. Due to the pandemic last year, I was not able to do them as people were in lock down. Now, things are opening up and I am doing Zoom but really prefer the in-person talks where I share many photos I've taken of Doris over the years, as well as scripts and other Doris Day memorabilia. It's a fun “sentimental journey.” People can contact me through my website.

Endeavor was a stuck up little bitch.
Not that a lot of people knew.
Oh well. He’ll get his revenge one day.
Touya sighs, setting his keys on the counter.
“Keigo! I’m home!”
The house was big- airy, if that was a word. Birdboy hated closed spaces. Touya couldn’t blame him, either; he couldn’t stand anything that looked like his “training” room.
There was a thunk upstairs as Keigo ran down to greet him.
“How was work? How was Dad?” He asks.
“Dad”, Atsuhiro Sako, was Touya’s adopted dad. They worked together under their agency, the League of Heroes. The League of Heroes were made up of heroes who were told they were villains, or considered outcasts.
“It was alright, Big sis Magne started asking people if they wanted interns.” Touya responds to his fiance.
Keigo comes up behind him, hugging him and wrapping his wings around Touya.
“Hmmm. Did you look for an intern, dove? You could get your brother~”
“I didn’t think about it, no. But there’s Toga already. Did you?”
Touya can feel Keigo smile into his shoulder.
“There’s one with a bird quirk.”
“Oh, I see.” Touya smirks.
His stomach rumbles as he does.
“Aww, does my little birdie need some food?” Keigo says, a twinkle in his eye. “I’ll go get you some.”
He grabs his hand and leads him to the kitchen.
They look through the fridge, then the freezer.
“Chinken nuggets?” Keigo asks, after a beat of silence.
“You did not just reference that, again.”
And Keigo laughs, loud and clear. Touya thinks it’s the prettiest thing he’s ever heard.
God, he’s in deep, isn’t he?
They sit together at the counter while they wait for the food to cook. They don’t talk for a bit, just enjoying each other’s company.
“Speaking of Shoto, how’s the family? Rumi’s been talking ‘bout Fuyumi a lot.” Keigo says, taking the pan out of the oven.
“Oh my goodness- remember that crusty kid I was talking to you about? He’s dating Natsuo.” Touya deadpans, and Keigo bursts into giggles.
“God, he could do so much better! And he chose the crustiest kid on this side of Japan!” He rants, Keigo staring from across the table.
“Hana’ll kill you for that.”
Touya sighs again, knowing that he was right. “Yeah, I know. I still don’t know why Natsuo chose her crusty brother, but he’s happy. And it gets him out of the house, too.”
Keigo nods. “Away from Endeavor.”
“Away from Endeavor.”
They sit for a while in silence at that. Touya knows Keigo used to idolize Endeavor, and he knows why.
God, out of all people, couldn’t Keigo have a good childhood?
At least he’s not hurting now.
The sun has fallen, and they’re laying on their bed.
The moonlight filters through the curtains. Keigo’s been asleep for a while now.
The slightest breeze drifts into the room.
If we lived in a harsher world, we’d be so much more cruel.
Oh, what a beautiful night to be alive with you.
---
Touya brings Keigo into the agency. He’d been curious about how it worked- the League was unprecedented.
Touya hoped he’d want to join too. He wouldn’t mind his soon-to-be husband patrolling with him.
Hero work is a dangerous game to play, after all.
The League of Heroes’s building is not very intimidating. It’s survived thunderstorms, 52 mental breakdowns (not by the same person), and now the prank the entire League is in on.
It’s time for the hero charts.
Showtime.
It had taken so much bribing, from the poor intern that worked for one of the higher ups, to one of the higher ups themselves.
Touya could only hope it was worth it.
Oh, it was worth it.
On live television, in front of nearly the entire world, Enji Todoroki, known as Endeavor, had gotten massively pranked.
First, it was the glitter. Then, the water balloons and the rainbow slime. After that, it was the chicken and the three fire extinguishers.
And of course, copious amounts of cheese.
And it was all filmed. It was all broadcasted to a live audience.
Oh- and everyone knew who did it.
But there was no evidence.
God, Touya loved trashing Endeavwhore (and that’s an insult to sex workers).
It was the night after when Twice suggested something Touya had never thought of before.
The night was young, fireflies just beginning to come out. They were on the balcony, drinking and catching up like family would.
“Hey,” He said, “Why don’t you sue him? Get your bro outta that place and over here.”
Twice was a genius.
Twice was a goddamn genius.
Headlines were all over the place. “Endeavor gets sued?” “Enji Todoroki- an abusive piece of shit?” “Endeavor loses custody!”
God, the journalists were having a fucking field day with this. Touya can’t blame them, though.
The day was beautiful. Birds were singing, flowers were blooming, and little kids were running around outside. Keigo was sitting next to him, listening to his music. Touya finished up some paperwork to finally, finally get his siblings out from under Endeavor.
Thankfully, there was enough evidence to prove he was at least neglectful. People could finally see just how much of an asshole he was, and how high his civilian casualty and endangerment rates are.
There was one teeny, tiny, thing.
The Commission.
The only reason Endeavor was still in the top ten is because of that fucking Commission.
God, he hated the Commission. The things they did to Keigo, the scars that still remain on his psyche.
Fuck the Commission.
It just- It made him so angry. The way Toga and Spinner were treated, how Twice wasn’t able to get help until he became a hero- God, he hated it.
And he didn’t even know how bad it was! He was sheltered from Quirkist attitudes. Well, as sheltered as you can be, living with Endeavor as a dad.
He only knew a little bit of how much they had suffered under this system. He knew there was something more to how Twice always stayed in his hero costume, or how Magne avoided that one part of town. How Toga stared at that one schoolyard for a little too long before walking away.
And he hated it. So, so much.
Fuck the Commission.
---
It’s Touya’s first free day. The hecticness of moving all of his sibling’s stuff into their house was crazy. Who knew that keeping a house was so hard? Not him, that’s who.
So, like any rational person, he goes out to catch up with a close friend.
He had met her during his time at U.A. Her name was Hana Shimura. They bonded through their shitty parents. She was the older sister of the crusty fuck, Tenko.
Why did Natsuo decide to date him? He'll never know.
Somehow or another, the conversation went from how their days went to when Tenko got his quirk.
“Yeah, he decayed the dog! Thankfully he froze up after, so I got Mom. If he didn’t freeze up, I’d be dead.”
The way she had said it- so casually...She probably was terrified at the time.
“There was a UA student that helped him, too. Oboro? I think that was his name...Anyway, Oboro really helped him! He’s kinda a father to him, if I’m being honest.” She went on, telling Touya how proud of Tenko she was.
How he had become a search and rescue hero, which he already knew, and using his quirk he had helped so many people! Because he can decay the debris trapping civilians and rescue them!
They walk down the street, still talking about their siblings and generally how life was going.
They were gonna meet up with Twice. There was a new restaurant that he noticed during his patrols.
Touya heard it was pretty good from Fuyumi and Rumi.
It looked pretty nice, too. He’d walked by it a few times.
“So how is Twice, anyway? I don’t hear much from him these days.” Hana says, pushing open the door to the restaurant.
“Guess you’ll find out, huh?”
Twice is sitting at an empty table in a corner. He was smart enough to change out of his hero costume, just like Touya and Hana.
He lifts his head as they get closer to the table.
“Hey guys! How’ve you been!” He greets them as they sit down.
“Good, good. We were talking about my brother, Tenko.” Hana says. Touya nods in agreement.
“And also how he got to be a hero, too.”
“Did I ever tell ya how I got to be a hero?” Twice asks them, barely containing a smile.
He never told them, well, not Touya.
Turns out, when he was having trouble with his Quirk, one of his doubles went and got a hero license. At the time he was barely of the streets, so he became a hero, joining up with Mr. Compress and Magne to create the League of Heroes.
Because why not? It kept him off the streets and he could help people like him.
A win-win for Twice.
Touya hated how his weird uncle was treated before he became a hero.
Because he was a person, like anyone else. Just a person.
So why was he treated so differently? Why didn’t people help him when he needed it?
God, Touya was so tired.
---
It’s late one night. Touya is alone with his adopted father.
“Dad, why’d you decide to be a hero?” He asks out of the blue.
Atsuhiro’s eyes mist over, and Touya worries for him. Touya’s told him all about the horrific shit he’s gone through, and he can’t help but wonder if he had gone through something horrible too.
Atsuhiro takes out a silver locket, and gently pries it open. He points at the picture inside.
“Look! It’s them…My perfect little family... That’s them! There’s my little girl, and the most beautiful person to ever exist. There they are…”
It’s silent for a moment, the only thing one could hear were the cicadas far away from here.
Touya opens his mouth, “What...What happened to them?”
“A hero. He didn’t care for protocol. He killed- He killed them! And no one believed me…” Atsuhiro trails off, looking down at the floor.
Touya can’t help but feel sorrow, too. He could’ve had a mom, another sister...
He really needs to stop adopting people.
He can’t imagine the pain Mr. Compress must’ve been in. To lose a lover, a child? Oh, it must hurt- so, so much. To lose what was essentially a part of you?
Oh, it hurts to even imagine.
“...They’re really pretty, Dad.”
“They...were both so beautiful in this picture. Toga reminds me of her, y’know? They are both so pretty, so grown-up, and have that same sense of humor…”
Touya’s not sure to who he’s referring to, but nods anyway.
Who’s he to question grieving old men?
“And the days fly by so fast now, I can’t help but feel as though I’m supposed to be insulted by it. But I can’t bring myself to care anymore…It hurts, Touya, it hurts. Sometimes...I can hardly bring myself out of bed...I feel like a ghost…”
It’s silent for a moment, before Touya speaks.
“Dad, I think you need to get help. This isn’t normal. And…I think they’d want you to be happy too, Dad. Don’t you deserve to be happy, too?”
“...I don’t know.”
“You don’t...know?”
“I don’t think I am. But...I want you to be happy. And Tenko, and Hana, and Twice, and Magne...But it’s so tiring, being happy. And I don’t know what to do!”
His sobs seem to echo through the building.
“Come on, Dad. Let’s get you help. You can get some rest.”
He leads Sako back to his house, Atsuhiro being half-asleep by the time they get home.
Mr. Compress takes the spare bedroom, and falls asleep as soon as he hits the pillow. Keigo notices Touya, and walks over to him.
“Heya dove~ How was your day?”
“Worrying. Dad...Dad needs some help. He’s got some shit going on...He’s so tired, Kei. We need to get him therapy or something.”
“Oh, baby…” Keigo whispers, but Touya is too tired to hear.
He falls asleep in his fiance’s arms, safe and sound.
---
The house is abuzz with activity when Touya wakes up. Keigo’s laughter echoes around the place, filling the air with a sense of home.
What a beautiful way to wake up.
Touya gets dressed and walks downstairs. Keigo’s in the kitchen, talking amicably with his sister, Fuyumi. Dad was smiling fondly at the sight, picking at his food. Natsuo was talking on the phone with someone, blushing a little.
Keigo turns towards him, and oh, he was so handsome.
“Good morning, dovely~”
Unbelievable. It was too early for puns.
“Ugh, no. Don’t ever make puns this early. Dad, you doing okay?”
Atsuhiro looks over at him, the corners of his eyes crinkling.
“I’m doing just fine, sonny boy~”
“God, it’s too early for this shit. Keigo, get me some coffee, will you?”
“Language!” Fuyumi scolds.
Eventually the coffee is made, and tables cleaned. Breakfast is done.
Keigo helps set up an appointment with Fuyumi. She’s a part time therapist, part time substitute teacher.
Touya takes a deep breath. One day, Dad will be okay. He’ll be alright.
Time for work.
It’s a beautiful, sunny day when Touya goes on patrol again. This time with Magne and the new intern, Toga.
He already knew somewhat what the girls had gone through.
“Good morning, Magne, Toga.” He greeted them.
“Good morning!” Toga says, and then they go off.
Touya’s stuck in his thoughts as they walk to a coffee house while on break. He listens in as he reaches for the door.
“Yeah, my parents threw me out cause they didn’t think I was a girl.”
“My parents threw me out, too! I had to run away, they didn’t like my quirk very much...I got lucky, and Mom became my mom! That’s how I became a hero! How did you, big sis Magne?”
“Mr. Compress saved me from one of those fucking creeps. He let me stay with him for a while, and helped me get back on my feet. I decided to be a hero then, to help people like me.”
They sit down at one of the tables, still talking about their lives. Touya takes a bite of his muffin.
Ah, life was alright, if just for a little while.

Things Most People Learn Too Late In Life ~ N Cole
“Life is a journey of twists and turns, peaks and valleys, mountains to climb and oceans to explore.
Good times and bad times. Happy times and sad times.
But always, life is a movement forward.
No matter where you are on the journey, in some way, you are continuing on — and that’s what makes it so magnificent. One day, you’re questioning what on earth will ever make you feel happy and fulfilled. And the next, you’re perfectly in flow, writing the most important book of your entire career.
What nobody ever tells you, though, when you are a wide-eyed child, are all the little things that come along with “growing up.”
1. Most people are scared of using their imagination.
They’ve disconnected with their inner child.
They don’t feel they are “creative.”
They like things “just the way they are.”
2. Your dream doesn’t really matter to anyone else.
Some people might take interest. Some may support you in your quest. But at the end of the day, nobody cares, or will ever care about your dream as much as you.
3. Friends are relative to where you are in your life.
Most friends only stay for a period of time — usually in reference to your current interest. But when you move on, or your priorities change, so too do the majority of your friends.
4. Your potential increases with age.
As people get older, they tend to think that they can do less and less — when in reality, they should be able to do more and more, because they have had time to soak up more knowledge. Being great at something is a daily habit. You aren’t just “born” that way.
5. Spontaneity is the sister of creativity.
If all you do is follow the exact same routine every day, you will never leave yourself open to moments of sudden discovery. Do you remember how spontaneous you were as a child? Anything could happen, at any moment!
6. You forget the value of “touch” later on.
When was the last time you played in the rain?
When was the last time you sat on a sidewalk and looked closely at the cracks, the rocks, the dirt, the one weed growing between the concrete and the grass nearby.
Do that again.
You will feel so connected to the playfulness of life.
7. Most people don’t do what they love.
It’s true.
The “masses” are not the ones who live the lives they dreamed of living. And the reason is because they didn’t fight hard enough. They didn’t make it happen for themselves. And the older you get, and the more you look around, the easier it becomes to believe that you’ll end up the same.
Don’t fall for the trap.
8. Many stop reading after college.
Ask anyone you know the last good book they read, and I’ll bet most of them respond with, “Wow, I haven’t read a book in a long time.”
9. People talk more than they listen.
There is nothing more ridiculous to me than hearing two people talk “at” each other, neither one listening, but waiting for the other person to stop talking so they can start up again.
10. Creativity takes practice.
It’s funny how much we as a society praise and value creativity, and yet seem to do as much as we can to prohibit and control creative expression unless it is in some way profitable.
If you want to keep your creative muscle pumped and active, you have to practice it on your own.
11. “Success” is a relative term.
As kids, we’re taught to “reach for success.”
What does that really mean? Success to one person could mean the opposite for someone else.
Define your own Success.
12. You can’t change your parents.
A sad and difficult truth to face as you get older: You can’t change your parents.
They are who they are.
Whether they approve of what you do or not, at some point, no longer matters. Love them for bringing you into this world, and leave the rest at the door.
13. The only person you have to face in the morning is yourself.
When you’re younger, it feels like you have to please the entire world.
You don’t.
Do what makes you happy, and create the life you want to live for yourself. You’ll see someone you truly love staring back at you every morning if you can do that.
14. Nothing feels as good as something you do from the heart.
No amount of money or achievement or external validation will ever take the place of what you do out of pure love.
Follow your heart, and the rest will follow.
15. Your potential is directly correlated to how well you know yourself.
Those who know themselves and maximize their strengths are the ones who go where they want to go.
Those who don’t know themselves, and avoid the hard work of looking inward, live life by default. They lack the ability to create for themselves their own future.
16. Everyone who doubts you will always come back around.
That kid who used to bully you will come asking for a job.
The girl who didn’t want to date you will call you back once she sees where you’re headed. It always happens that way.
Just focus on you, stay true to what you believe in, and all the doubters will eventually come asking for help.
17. You are a reflection of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
Nobody creates themselves, by themselves.
We are all mirror images, sculpted through the reflections we see in other people. This isn’t a game you play by yourself. Work to be surrounded by those you wish to be like, and in time, you too will carry the very things you admire in them.
18. Beliefs are relative to what you pursue.
Wherever you are in life, and based on who is around you, and based on your current aspirations, those are the things that shape your beliefs.
Nobody explains, though, that “beliefs” then are not “fixed.” There is no “right and wrong.” It is all relative.
Find what works for you.
19. Anything can be a vice.
Be wary.
Again, there is no “right” and “wrong” as you get older. A coping mechanism to one could be a way to relax on a Sunday to another. Just remain aware of your habits and how you spend your time, and what habits start to increase in frequency — and then question where they are coming from in you and why you feel compelled to repeat them.
Never mistakes, always lessons.
As I said, know yourself.
20. Your purpose is to be YOU.
What is the meaning of life?
To be you, all of you, always, in everything you do — whatever that means to you. You are your own creator. You are your own evolving masterpiece.
Growing up is the realization that you are both the sculpture and the sculptor, the painter and the portrait. Paint yourself however you wish.”
Finding the reason to give be the element that survives all .. the giving when announced depletes the announce .. yes it is often told to speak .. but if the speak is not heard then ..?
.. so they that can feel the speak be the better .. it was for them not for the speak in any case .. but information they say needs to be put out .. really ?
for who ..?
for them that survive on information .. the information is mine .. the informed never were involved in it .. for them it is business .. my information is mine and is without a commercial value ..
I know the commerce of value .. they that practice it are not wrong .. they are in its commercial .. they lead it with profession .. they chose it much all choose profession ..
but all choosing never does agree with others .. no harm .. the other shall ever disagree , because it was never his .. they that disagree with their own are the divine .. they have the servility by their side .. a servile sum is never a subtraction ..
it be ever in multiply ..

.. they that designed my costume for my film KHOON PASINA , never knew I would have to fight a real tiger in the film .. it was the most harrowing experience .. some day it shall be described .. done now would invite distress ..

Tattered Remains of Broken Dreams (Yours, not Mine)
This is based off a prompt I came across. It’s a one-shot. @virgil-is-a-cutie and @thyladyanput. Hope you two like lit.
Tumblr media
The pieces were scattered across her desk. Marinette had known something was up the moment she stepped into the classroom. Everyone had gone quiet. A few had glared at her. Some had snickered. And they all watched as she walked to her desk.
Nathanial had tried to wave her down; shaking his head with sorrow in his eyes. He had gotten there a few minutes before she did.
It took her a few seconds to recognize what the torn pieces of what had been weeks of hard work.
Once she realized what it was, Marinette wondered if it made her a bad person that she wanted to smile. Because while she honestly wanted to feel bad, all she felt was a relief. Like ten tons of weight had just been lifted from her shoulders.
Marinette looked at her desk, pulled out her phone, took a picture, and then sent several texts.
Then she shrugged, tossed the mess into a nearby trashcan, and pulled out a fresh sketchbook.
The other students, the ones who had waited for a reaction, were stunned. Where were the tears? The rage? Anything?
“Don’t you care?” Alya yelled, frustrated with her ex-bestie. “Your sketchbook was destroyed.”
Marinette glanced up at her, “No. A sketchbook was destroyed. My sketchbook with all my worthwhile designs in safely locked away at my house. You all,” She looked around the classroom; memorizing every face.  Lila looked particularly bewildered because she had wanted to see the Asian girl cry. “ Destroyed my school sketchbook; the one I use for school-related events designs from various classmates, plans for birthday parties, and the like.”
“But you worked so hard,” Rose said.
Mylene nodded, “You worked in it every day for months.”
“Yeah, it sucks,” Marinette shrugged. “For you.”
           That got everyone’s attention.
“What do you mean for us, Dudette?” Nino asked.
Marinette sighed, “The sketchbook was filled with all the projects that were either requested by people in this room or were for people in this room. By destroying it, I can no longer do any of those projects,” She explained. “I did it in my free time. As my main work schedule is full of commission I’m actually being paid for. I don’t have time to redesign or remake those sketches. So I sent texts to Bustier, Luka, and anyone else involved that I can no longer work on their specific project.”
           The other students blinked.
Marinette rolled her eyes, “That means I can’t do the costumes for the school play,”  Mylene and Sabrina gasped. “No new outfits for Kitty Section.” Rose and the other members of the band got tears in their eyes. “I can’t do the set design for Nino’s next gig.” The boy in questioned paled as he had been counting on Marinette’s design skills to wow the crowd. “The new design layout for the Ladyblog is canceled.” Alya clenched her fists. “The costume for Mylene’s short film is too. I had to back out of the school fundraiser. Let the Coach know I can no longer do any banner work. Or design the new team uniforms.” Alix and Kim’s mouths dropped. “Max’s Game-Con costume is out of the question now.” Max visibly deflated. “Ivan’s mom’s gift for her birthday is out too; pity that dress was so beautiful.” Ivan gasped. “I can plan any birthday parties or make custom cakes. The charity work you wanted my help with, I can’t do. My idea for the school trip to New York city is canceled as all my contacts and trip itinerary ideas are gone. I let Bustier know that I’ll be too busy to be class president so she’ll have to assign someone else the role. The dresses for the school dance you girls requested, I can’t do anymore.” She shrugged again. “Oh well.”
“But, but, Luka!” Juleka cried, worried about how her brother will react.
Rose was crying. So was Mylene.
“Can’t you redo it,” Sabrina asked. “The drama department was counting on us.”
Marinette narrowed her eyes. Us? Sabrina nor anyone else had lifted a finger to help Marinette come up with idea for the costumes for the school play. “Afraid not. There’s not enough time; to resketch everything and then actually make it. I have to focus on the designs I’m being actually being paid for. They come first.”
Alix slammed her hands on the table, “We only did it because you were bullying Lila!”
           There were nods.
“Yeah, girl,” Alya said. “We just wanted you to know what being bullied was like. We didn’t know our stuff was in there.”
“First I never bullied Lila,” Marinette said and before anyone could protest, she continued. “Second of all, I was bullied by Chloe for years, why would you think I would ever bully anyone else,” She looked directly at Nino when she asked this. Her childhood friend. His eyes widened and he looked away. “Lastly, why should I go to the trouble and take time out of my already swamped schedule to redesign projects I did for you that you destroyed. The way I see it, it’s your own fault.”
The entire class went silent again. Each mind weighing the consequences of their actions.
“Nathanial,” Marinette said. The redhead boy looked up. “You don’ t have to worry. You paid for your work; it was a commission. It will arrive on schedule; even if I have to work all night for a week to redo it.”
Nathanial’s face lit up, “Thank you, Marc’s going to love it.”
“You’re redoing his work,” Alya screeched. “That’s not fair.”
“I didn’t destroy all her hard work, so yes it is,” Nathaniel snapped back at the girl before Marinette could. “Not only that but I paid for my stuff. Something none of you have ever even offered to do.”
Some of the other students looked ashamed. It was true.
“They were custom made designs,” Marinette explained. “Any other designer would make you pay hundreds for all that works. Thousands, if it was a fully trained professional, right Adrien?”
Adrien swallowed hard. He hadn’t been involved in actively destroying the bluenette’s sketchbook but he hadn’t stopped it either. The blond nodded, “My father would charge a lot. His last custom piece was sold for five grand, and it was just a simple pants suit.”
“What about your mom, Chloe?” Marinette asked the blond who had arrived mere seconds after Marinette and had stayed by the door to watch the fireworks.
Chloe gave the class a vindictive smirk, “For the dresses for the school dance, fifteen hundred dollars apiece; more if she had to hand sow them herself. For the rest of the work, combined, may be less than twenty grand if she cut you a deal. Anyway between ten and fifteen grand when she was still at Marinette’s level. Shame.”
Marinette shook her head, “Fifteen thousand dollars of work you were going to get for free, gone.”
Most of her classmates' faces had drained of color at the price, at realization of how big of a screw up they made. They had no idea just how much work Marinette did.
Lila was seething because it would be too hard to turn this around.
“I’m sorry,” Rose rushed to say. “We’re sorry.”
“Doesn’t matter,” Marinette shrugged. “There’s nothing to do. And now that I know that there are people in this class who can’t keep their hands to themselves, all free commissions are now canceled.” Gasps filled the room. “From now on, if you want some work done; you’ll go to my website and request a consultation like all my other customers. Keep in mind, for custom designs, depending the size of the job, you’ll have to book anywhere between a month and six months in advance. Www.MDC-designs.com.”
Chloe walked to the back of the classroom and sat down next to the Bluenette, “You’re still doing my dress for the dance, though right?”
“Chloe, you did a consult a year early and paid well in advance,” Marinette smiled. “You’re dress is done. You can do your final fitting anytime.”
Miss Bustier walked into class with a smile that quickly turned to a frown at the sight of Marinette, “Oh Marinette, I was so sad when you told me you had to back out of being class president and planning the school trip and, well, so many other things. You had such wonderful ideas. How on earth you got us on the list for a tour of Stark Industries, the Gotham times, Marvel Studios, and Vogue; I’ll never know. It’s a pity that can’t happen now. All canceled, you said?” The teacher shook her head. Totally unaware of the sheer horror her words at unleashed in her students. “It’s a shame about what happened to your sketchbook. Do you have any idea what happened?”
Marinette just leaned back in her chair, “Not a clue.”
           That time, she smirked.
The new few weeks were horrible for the students of Miss Bustier’s class. As they all scrambled to design, plan, and actually make/do their own projects.
Sabrina and Mylene had realized quickly they had no designing skills and were forced to tell the drama department that the promised costumes weren’t coming. Aurora, leader of the Drama club, and Marinette s friend had heard about what happened from Nathianal and spread the news to the other club members. Most were artists too and knew they would’ve died if something like that were happening. The ones that weren’t couldn’t believe they had been getting all that for free and a bunch of idiots ruined it.
Alix and Kim found themselves participating in a lot more school fundraisers to raise money for the new uniforms and to pay for all the team trips to the away games.
Luka had been disappointed in his bandmates and his sister and had threatened to go solo.
Alya was forced to do more babysitting to help pay for new website design and a dress for the dance.
Nino had no clue just how hard the set design was. And ended up nearly causing a fire at his gig.
Lila had no clue on where to start for planning a trip as fabulous as the one Bustier made Marinette’s sound.
Birthdays went without cake, had only cheap decorations from the store, and immaculate gift that had come to be expected every year.
The entire class, apart from three, felt the pressure of planning the school dance, fundraising for the field trips, affording their dresses for the dance, on top of all their other many after school activities.
No one would bother to mention just how badly their actual school work suffered; there was barely any time to study for tests or do their homework. Grades dropped. Parents were furious.
Alix nearly lost her spot on the team. Kim did lose his spot until his grades were brought back up. Alya was forced to stop her work with the Ladyblog until her grade improved. Nino’s parents forbid him from doing any more gigs. Mylene’s dad stopped her movie work altogether. Sabrina’s dad just straight up grounded his daughter so she could have time to relax and study when she had the time. Ivan’s mom actually started tutoring him. Max’s grades didn’t drop but his stress levels increased so much his parents pulled him out of all his extracurriculars.
Luka had no choice but to go solo as his bandmates rarely showed up for practice. It was fine, though, Marinette got Jagged to work with him on a demo album. In exchange for a new few new pieces of wardrobe…
           For Fang.
It got so bad even the headstrong Alya burst into tears at the pressure one day. The stress was too much. Some kids found themselves constantly being late, never getting enough sleep, and were constantly worried and checking their phone just in case something went wrong And somehow something always went wrong. A few kids started having anxiety attacks. Relationships and friendship suffered as no one had time to talk or spend any time together as foretime was a rarity. Mylene and Ivan broke up. So did Nino and Alya, who got into a fight so bad in front of the school, that Nino left in tears.
Hawkmoth had a field day with it all. Until he started noticing all the akumas came from his son’s class, and that his son was looking too good either. Gabriel Agrest may be a heartless son of a bitch but he wasn’t a complete monster.
…Plus the Akumas were all worthless anyway. Most were sleep akuma who just put people to sleep. A couple was literally dedicated to forcing people to plan their days better. There was an akuma that literally made everyone around them feel less stressful. Ladybug didn’t even bother to show up defeat that one. Hawkmoth just pulled it back eventually.
Marinette watched it all; not with joy or happiness as her classmates' misery, just a sense of relief that for once it wasn’t her. Everyone noticed how Marinette was nearly never late anymore. She glowed with all the sleep she was finally making up. Her grades while never anything less than good improved dramatically. Her parents were happy their daughter was so much more relaxed and happier. It was like she was a new person.
She even found she had more time to not only design stuff for herself but actually make it. Her dress for the school dance was going to be amazing.
…If there was a school dance. With the way, things were going and the miserable looks of her ex-friends face when anyone brought it up, there was a good chance there wouldn’t be one.
A week after Marinette had that thought, the school play was canceled. Some sports teams were forced to forfeit away games due to budgeting issues; losing their number one spot.
It wasn’t long after that Rose came up to Marinette’s lunch table. Chloe and Nathaniel eyed the pixie-cut blond with suspicion.
“I’m sorry,” Rose whispered. “I didn’t know how much you did. How hard you worked. You did so much for us, and we never even realized. You must think we’re monsters.”
Marinette shook her head, “. I still don’t understand why you would do something so horrible as destroying my private property but I think don’t your monsters. Just not very good friends,” She frowned. “Not friends at all, actually”
Rose winced at the truthful words. Now that she didn’t have time to hang off Lila’s every word, it was easy to hear just how ridiculous all her stories were. She nodded, “I requested a consult on your website. Based on your prices, I think I finally enough money for an MDC original dress for the school dance.”
So someone in class could learn. Most of the class still muttered under their breaths whenever Marinette walked by. Not willing to take the blame for their own mistakes. Though she did see Alya casting her pitiful glances every now and then as if Marinette would suddenly take mercy and start doing everything for the class again.
“I’m glad to hear,” Marinette smiled. “I think you’ll look great in a lovely turquoise; really make those eyes pop.”
