Back on my Danny & Ras frienemies/rivals/maybe-lovers-nobody-can-tell-their-signals-are-very-mixed train. 

See, Danny has gone through time a lot. Often. It comes with being Clockwork’s charge-son-thing and honestly he finds it fun. And several times he’s used this time travelling to get some training in. Enter Ras, stage left, also a teen at the time and also learning swordsmanship from the same person. 

And they… utterly despise each other. They would kill the other for an apple slice, if the other one would die! But also, only they can kill the other, as it is obviously their right! 

And well, they keep running into each other. It has been a hundred years, surely the other would die by now? But of course their rival would live through utter spite. Probably to spite them specifically. 

The amount of times they have ended up sparring- trying to kill each other or not- the moment they see the other is actually ridiculous. But time is also passing. And… Danny understands, not having another to talk about things people are forgetting, or have already forgotten. 

How they ended up actually talking without a murder attempt was a long story that included a demon, a dragon, a pair of fae, some bandits, and a lot of alcohol, but it happened. And then it happens again. And again, and now it’s just kind of normal to share a drink after their spars, talking about things that no longer exist, and things they miss. 

Sure Danny can go back in time again, but he knows better than to do it willy nilly. He’s matured, he’s been an adult for a hundred years now, he knows there’s consequences for messing with time, even with Clockwork’s blessings. 

The first time they got married was technically for an undercover assassination. Well, Ras was there to assassinate someone, Danny was there to grab an artifact that should Not be in the realm of the living. And they got divorced after, it was fine. 

They just, also got married again when they met a few years later, for another job. And… okay, so maybe they have gotten married over a dozen times now and only divorced like half of those times. Half of those were for the bit or while drunk! 

And even if technically they’re married or shared a bed, it’s not like they're exclusive! As Ras’ daughters’ existences attest to (adopted in one case or not). They don’t exactly have a label for their relationship, despite others asking for one or trying to put a name to it themselves. 

Now Danny knows Ras isn’t exactly a good dude, or at least on the side of ‘good’ as he’s a literal assassin. But he also knows that good? Bad? Rather relative. He had gotten labeled as a villain when he was just trying to help all that time ago after all, and really who was he to tell someone else how to live their life? 

Which brings him to now, where he’s run into his old frienemy-rival and his youngest daughter. Who has a braindead teenager and a small toddler. Which is fine, really- but also, Talia dear, why are you using a brain dead teenager to guard your three year old son?

Okay, Talia dear, Ras (Derogatory), why are you using your brain dead son and grandson to guard your younger son and grandson? Do you not have the Pits, which you were soo proud about Ras? Yes, he will spar with you, but for Realms’ sake, heal, what’s his name? Ah yes, go heal Jason and he’ll actually stick around for a few years, deal? Good.

Not to completely spiral on my blog that has absolutely nothing to do with a Jonas brother about a man I had an entirely neutral opinion about until 2 days ago but this whole thing is making me crazyyyyy I can't stand it. Two days of press about how Sophie is a bad mother and a party girl -- things his kids will read about some day -- and now this??

Sophie has literally dedicated her entire existence as a mother to keeping those girls out of the spotlight. She's complained to the press multiple times. When the first pap pics of Willa came out when she was a baby, she was on the verge of tears talking about how it's disgusting that paps follow children around and that the kids never asked for this life. She accidentally posted a picture of Willa a few months ago and begged people who had the picture or took screenshots to delete them. I always figured that as someone who had a really rough time of it growing up in the spotlight (she's talked extensively about her mental health issues, getting bullied because of a character she played and her weight, and eating disorders), she wanted her girls to be totally protected from that and as far from the spotlight as possible.

I've seen like 1 picture of Willa's face. There's barely *any* paparazzi shots of them. She obviously called to take down the Page 6 post of Willa when Meghan and Harry did not a day later with Archie. We don't even know the name of their second daughter. And now he goes out... to a table outside... with both girls.... facing the street... for PR. Or just to be a dick. I feel so terrible for Sophie I don't even know what to say.

goddd ive said before but jeremiah royalpains is one of the best written autistic characters of all time, i love him so so so much. there is NO way the actor (and writers for that matter) didnt talk to real autistic people to get that shit down. his touch aversion, his facial expressions...in his very first appearance he's transparently honest in a job interview and the fact that he doesnt understand why that's a problem is so painfully visceral to me i felt it in my soul. he raises his hand to ask questions. he offers fun facts in lieu of conversation. i would die for him.

Anyway, I mix Reignited Trilogy AND academy lore, its Essentially my own AU for CONTEXT !! I really love Reignited, and all those jammers who haven't played it ABSOLUTELY you should !! Anyway..

I think Spyros a musician! Coming from Artisans, hes always yearned to learn his craft without realising he has one already!

Because of this he started a small band with Elf (and sometimes Pop), which he performs at his parties!

He's actually a really great singer!

Everyone goes to Spyro for party planning, while its mostly his way if rebelling, he has a secret talent at throwing the best parties in all of Skylands!

He's overly secretive about his homelife, no one actually knows anything about his family because he doesn't talk about it

To add to that, Spyro is adopted, and is the biological son to Malefor (unknown to him), which is why he has such powerful dark magic, he just wasn't trained to discover it!

When everyone DOES meet his family at the Exam, Spyro is the future King of the Dragon Kingdom! Something that weighs on him

While at the Academy he was treated like "The son Eon never had"

He has a Celebrity Crush on Crash Bandicoot, a Romantic Crush on Elora back home, and a "You make me think of Elora" Crush on Elf (he is very confused)

I like to think Spyro would enjoy Indie music, specifically the album LDA by MGMT, but realistically hes a 2000s teenager cool kid

I like to HC they had a prom at the Academy, Spyro wore traditional Royal wear and took Elora as his date !

Nick's going to destroy Boston. I don't know if it's going to be intentional or not, but he's going to ruin him and I can't wait.

Boston likes Nick, he likes having sex with Nick, and he thinks Nick's safe. Those are all facts, as far as I'm concerned.

Boston's been sleeping around the whole time him and Nick have been hooking up. There's no reason to have kept Nick around if he didn't actually like to be around him. I think his hookup recording and blackmailing him scared him. His dad's a politician, and even if he's gay friendly, that would be a really bad thing to come out. So I do believe he does just wanna keep it to Nick for a bit because he likes hanging around him, likes the sex, and doesn't think he would do something like that. Everyone thinks Nick's an innocent sweet little guy, whose worst trait is banging Boston, and who would never do anything bad, Boston included.

Which is why Nick's audio is going to wreck him. Not only is he rightfully gonna lose his friends, but he actually seemed to be having Baby's First Real Emotional Growth over Nick and he's gonna get burned badly by that.

I'm excited to see how low he's gonna go once the audio comes out because we saw with the crossfaded fight that he turns into a wounded animal lashing out at everyone when he's hurt. And, when all is said and done, I think Nick, of all people, secretly recording him is gonna hurt him even worse than Top not wanting him.

I was talking to pita about the good old foxskull days and I gotta say. I hate atlus. apparently there was a mass exodus of jp yusuke fans after royal because some of yusuke’s stuff was given to sumire AND there was more emphasis on comedy relief AND the 3rd semester dream palace whatever did some weird characterization stuff (though it could be kind of explained away by the teacher’s misinterpretation of yusuke) AND apparently with the retranslation of p5 yusuke’s voice (diction not va) is different. I hate atlus and its 50 billion iterations of the same character, the goddamn base game vs manga vs anime (especially egregious) vs royal bullshit pisses me off so much

My general consensus with this fight is that it's just extra content and... in-between canonicity. They don't show up in the credits (in a scene) regardless if you kill them or not, and the pupils are alive(?) or possibly some other ones are alive as they could just look similar/be reused sprites

Fitzroy is lore for sure which contradicts some of the implications about trancending that we get but like. Royal is kind of a dumbass AND is being told all of this from mother/one concern. There's multiple implications of the "ancestors" (both isi and Him followers) coming from somewhere else/resetting the planet and leaving instructions/tech for their respective people to use. Fitzroy seems to fit in the between stage before the concern has studied the tech, but AFTER the Ancestors arrived/reset the planet. In The Tower and the Bastion there are images of famous earth landmarks (taj mahal, new York, pyramids I think) implying that some sort of Earth was destroyed/minerals drained (more connections to the themes about environmentalism) and that humanity was "reset". RIGHT BUT CANONICITY. Fitzroy is more lore... If u want him to be. The true past of humanity is still foggy ESPECIALLY with conflicting views from Him followers and the Isi. The concern claims to have longer records of history, and has aforementioned images, but they shape it to their beliefs and leave out certain parts intentionally as well as only educate people deemed more faithful (concern staff) and censor/mysticize parts for the common folk and ESPECIALLY city one residents. Cough cough 'merica haha but not really I doubt he was thinking about Americans specifically. This is more likely a commentary on religion specifically they larger ones and how they shape societies views and history! (Remember when we used B.C?) I'm not going to say this is an effective commentary or a scathing remark on Christianity (I believe that Christianity is used as a reference as it's the poster child to westerners for what "religion" is. He probably intended for this to be about religion as a whole but like. Come on. It's definitely Christianity with a few changes to make it a "generic religion" especially with the focus on punishment and ascension to a "good place". They also use sin/sinners a few times but that may be for familiarity especially since he had a whole npc for explaining terminology) that aside. Canonicity. Again. The history behind the Starworm followers vs the Isi is intentionally left a mystery! Fitzroy and Leticia are real as fuck (if u think they're canon) and provide some ideas for what actually happened in history but who knows! I should get back to my conversation I got distracted haha.
