Nischa (Noel x Mischa): OTP, my beloveds, you can literally see how much I love them just by scrolling through the nischa tag on my blog

Spacedolls (Ricky x Jane/Penny): they're okay, they vibe together, I like it, they're like little skrunklies that I put in a cage and feed cookies to

BlackRose (Constance x Ocean): I'm sorry but no, just no, no thank you, not even my cup of tea but I will respect if you ship it anon, whoever you are

Perfectdolls (Jane/Penny x Ocean): also okay with it, pretty cool! They're like character foils of eachother

Mischalia (Mischa x Talia): also cool, there's also an understandable canonical basis for it the same way nischa has, also literally has a song so fbsnvdnsvenw

Sugardolls/sugarsheep (Constance x Jane/Penny): love it, they're my beloveds, pry it off my cold dead hands you cretins /j

Sugarspace (Ricky x Constance): absolute cuteness overload, they're like a domestic couple, I love it

Spacerap (Ricky x Mischa): not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal, they're cute actually, they're homies, they definitely hang out together

Starrypoet/HornyBoys (Ricky x Noel): also not my cup of tea, but I really like the dynamic that they have, like they both use their imaginations to be someone else, there's potential, also hella gay /pos ( laughing my ass off because horny boys is a funny ship name, congrats on the bonus points for this)

Topcomment (Mischa x Ocean): pretty cool ship despite not me seeing much content for it, it's like good girl x bad boy, I'm sure there's people out there who really love it but for me? No, I don't like it. It's cool but just no.

SoundCloud/Candyrapper (Constance x Mischa): also pretty cute but I see them more as siblings than a couple

Rosenpotts/gingerspace/perfectspace (Ocean x Ricky)(idfk what you guys are called AUGH): also kinda no on this one, but I will respect your opinion if you want to ship it. They're more friendly that coupley in my eyes

Perfect angel (Ocean x Tammy): I do not see potential for it, ocean and Tammy definitely have a frenemies dynamic because of their belief systems

Perfect bride (Ocean x Talia): how??? Ocean is literally the one to say that Talia is fake, I mean, I will respect your opinion but just know I will stare at you like I will be studying you as part of my research project next year.

Perfect love (ocean x hank): no, hank is already dating her cousin in some canonical iterations

Perfect rap (ocean x corey): pretty hilarious, same comments as topcomment but more to the left, also to whoever wrote that one fanfic I saw for them on ao3, shout out to you

Perfect bugs (ocean x trishna): I don't see potential, sorry. They're just not the right people the other would date

Frenchrap/Norey (noel x corey): I love them, they're the kind of couple to be MESSY. THE DRAMA. Comedic fr fr (helps that this is technically a predecessor to nischa)

Tragic Love (noel x hank): I don't think these two would go well together tbh since there's not much in common (lack of hank content)

Rap Dolls (Mischa x Jane/Penny): I kinda also don't see potential with this, they're more like chaotic siblings in my eyes tbh but if you ship them, good on you

Rap Angel/Angel Accent (Mischa x Tammy): guys, what??? To the 0.01% who ship this, I need to know who you are, scratch that, come here I need to study you under a microscope

1. ride or die ship (your otp): CUNNINGWAY!!! They’re my girls. Chrissy and Heather my beloveds. I have never been so hyped for a ship before and this is the first time I’ve put this much effort into one, but if I don’t advocate for this rarepair then who will? (the answer is bambi. bambi will. but whatever, you get the point)

2. most annoying ship: there isn’t really a ship i find WHOLLY annoying. stancy maybe. i also think jancy and mileven have ran their course and jopper gives me a lil bit of the ick. obvi no hate to the ships or those that ship it!!

3. second favourite ship: ima have to say harringrove, but there are others i like a lot too!!

4. favourite platonic relationship: heather, chrissy & billy. the chaos trio. more should be done with them <3

5. underrated ship: there are so many!! argyle/chrissy (which i am lovingly referring to as pompompinapple, just try and stop me)? byergrove (billy/jonathan)? calicheer (billy/chrissy)??? how can i possibly choose????

6. overrated ship: uhhhh this feels dangerous. but steddie. dont get me wrong, i love this ship, but the boom in works for them was INSANE cause i dont think they have TOO MUCH chemistry in canon (tho there 100% is a good bit and it makes sense)

7. one thing i would change in canon: the blatant lack of care the main cast have for characters outside their group. no empathy for billy, barely anyone looking into heather, characters dying that no one mentions again…

8. something canon did right: I really liked steve and dustin’s dynamic. like, a LOT. they cocked it up a bit in s4 for the sake of ‘haha, dumb steve’ but yeah. theyre sweet :)

9. a thing i’m proud of creating for the fandom: my sideblog @poolsidepanic . i know that its a niche ship but i hope i help other people who love them as much as me actually be able to enjoy their ship and not just… be disappointed when they come up empty handed. the art and little fics and such i make over there make me so happy <3

10. a character who is perfect to me (wouldnt change a thing): heather. sassy, bitchy, yet kindhearted lifeguard? yes. the only thing id change is the DISSERVICE THE DUFFERS GAVE HER WHEN THEY KILLED HER AND IGNORED HER EXISTENCE.

11. the character i relate most to the most and why: steve. just how he responds to the offhanded comments the people he cares about make to him, that they never seem to realise hurt.

13. something ive learned from the fandom: idk. ive always wanted to be a positive person but seeing some of the toxicity in the fandom has made me really want to keep my little blog as positive and safe as i can for everyone. some things we see SUCK but if i can make someones day a lil better id like to? so not really a learn but an encouragement to be nicer wherever i can

14. three tags i seek out on ao3: i dont read a lot of st fanfiction, actually. i havent been in the mood for it for AGES!! but in general im a slow burn, hurt/comfort, angst kind of person. i love the occasional, agonising right person not enough time or some character bashing for the sake of compelling suffering (if done right!!!)

~Fic Introduction Post~ #5

today I'd like to introduce you all to my true OTP: bitchy platonic roommates Mihawk & Perona. this means I have not one, but three fics to talk about today, so buckle your seatbelts.

first: Some Sort of Poisonous Cupcake.

this is one of the fanfics I wrote in a fit of temporary insanity (read: hyperfixation). I had basically zero feelings about Mihawk & Perona, and then suddenly I had All Of The Feelings about Mihawk & Perona and needed to write them down with a level of urgency that should by all rights have been completely unwarranted. and then I surfaced nearly 3,000 words later and remembered I had a road trip to be preparing for. anyways

the fic is 2.8k words long, and rated M for the bit where Mihawk talks about Shanks' dick briefly (bc yeah, background Shanks/Mihawk). the focus is all on Mihawk & Perona's dynamic in this modern AU where they're just bitchy housemates. that's it. that's the fic.

I genuinely adore this fic, and not just because it slightly introduced me to my new OTP. I love the narrative voice, I love the way I worked in information about their dynamic & personalities, I love so many lines & bits of phrasing. I'm so goddamn proud of this fic. but it's a rarepair, and a platonic ship, and it's rated M, so it's not the kind of thing people tend to go looking for.

I have had to persuade people to give it a read. any time I succeed, they come out raving about it. that's about the best sales pitch I can offer, unless the promise of impending sequels intrigues you.

second: An Eye for an Eye (Kuraigana, One Year In).

this is the fic I was working on when I got interrupted by Cupcake (see above). the story itself is about how Zolo lost his eye during the timeskip, but the whiff of Mihawk&Perona dynamic I was including caught my attention and refused to let it go.

this one is only 580 words long, including the deleted scene I added later, and rated T for non-graphic depictions of eye injury & surgery. if you're intrigued by my Mihawk&Perona obsession but are mysteriously intimidated by anything longer than precisely 2500 words, you can try this first, or the next fic on my list:

A Particularly Sweet Red.

this is 540 words of pure G-rated Mihawk&Perona feels, framed as a Mihawk character study (lite). it takes place in current canon (as of chapter 1000-whatever of the manga) so if you're not up to date, you might be a little confused, but hey — it's short. there's not much there to be confused by. just a lot of using sangria as a metaphor for Mihawk & Perona's friendship, tbh.

I feel like a lot of kase fics woobify Chase which i Do Not care for + i feel like it's the most popular purely because it's a ship consisting of two conventionally attractive white boys, which has always irked me about fandoms

weirdly i am WAY more into this than I am just chaz. I have a bigger soft spot for polyam ships because they don't get as much attention. Also I'm just a HUGE sucker for kaziver and Chase balances them out really well. they have varying levels of dumbassery and arrogance which gives them an interesting dynamic.

I believe there's are only a handful of fics for them, but there should be more. give Oliver 2 boyfriend 2k23

my beloved crack rarepair. I don't post about them much - actually I don't post about shipping in general lol - but I genuinely love this ship. Annoying x easily annoyed is a very fun dynamic and they'd bring out each other's chaotic side. ALSO not to be an obvious Marcus stan, but I think that after a lifetime of being expected to be an obedient soldier, Marcus deserves to be with someone who has no expectations for him and just wants him to have fun and like. actually enjoy his life

My NOTP for the: I have a lot of NOTPs for Ichi but lmao, they’re all super rarepairs i think? UlquiIchi would be the really big one that I just really do not like. I like exploring trauma and toxic relationships and growth but this is one that i simply cant fathom. Others would be like. Ichigo with MOST shinigami. Idk, there’s just somethign skeeze about that for me and it has everything to do with asking a boy to go to war for you and then abandoning him when he needed help.

My BROTP for them: RenIchi or ChadIchi or IchiRuki or KeigoIchi or TatsuIchi they are BROS doing BRO THINGS. Ichi deserves to have some hella strong friendships, people who have his back no matter what. But more importantly i think he deserves to have relationships that exist outside of all the war and fighting. Keigo, Chad, and Tatsuki especially have had his back from the outset, even thought only one of them could follow him to the battlefield. Need i remind u tho about that one time Keigo tried to kill Aizen with a stolen sword? Bc if anyone ever doubted WHY keigo and ichigo are friends its bc keigo has balls of fucking steel and he is RIDE OR DIE. Ichigo having friends that he can play game with and talk to about books and movies and fashion and gossip and go to weird parties (collage or otherwise) together is encouraged in this house and if they wanna fuck as well then good for them

My OTP for the: Lmao this one is not surprising considering how big a GrimmIchi shipper I am. its about the DRAMA! The VIOLENCE! the confusion between passion lust and hunger its TOO GOOD

My second choice pairing for the: Only ship that comes anywhere close to grimmichi for me is ShiroIchi and thats all about the self love and its a different flavour than grimmichi. the dynamic can never be replicated tho there is overlap.

My fluffy pairing for them: ehehehehhehehehe grimmichi can be fluffy sometimes, it can even be fluffy when theres blood involved. Hmmm but if i offered a different one........ I cannot.

My angsty pairing for them: O grimmichi again. obviously. I like the angst. I like to make them hurt. I like it when they cry. But i actually can offer more options here bc i love angst so much. ShiroIchi got some great angst always. AiIchi if you want something very toxic 👀. Not so much on the romantic side of things, but UraIchi does have some really good angst. The guilt. The repair of a relationship that could have been ruined from the outset.  Other angst i always enjoy are the onesided relationships. IchiHime can fit here for me (usually with GrimmIchi)

My favorite poly ship for them: I love polyships. I love them so much. Grimmshiroichi is def my go too but I also like grimmichihime and grimmichiruki as odd as those relationships might be on the surface.

My weirdest pairing for them: .............. tbh idk really? I think ichigo has a lot of love to give, if he wanted to. I think, though, that he also ummm doesn’t really notice people love him back unless bludgeoned over the head with it. This makes for some really out there ships given the right set of circumstances but it also requires a certain personality type to um. bludgeon him. Moth got me onto NnoiIchi which im really only onto for the fucking and no hope for the romance but lmao. its like grimmichi but with less morals.

Hey, out of curiosity. What ships do you ship in The Witcher? I know about Gauntee/Geralt, Regis/Geralt and Eskel/Letho. (Also I was really excited when I saw you ship Gaunralt because I thought I was the only one shipping them 🙈)

You’ve nailed my main ones!! Most of my content has been for those three ships, though I’ve occasionally done some art or fics for others too

Tbh I’m a bit of a multi-shipping bastard with a love for rarepairs, so more often than not I’m excited to consider the dynamics of pairings that are so rare that they border on crack bc no one else is even remotely interested in them😂 I also just love to mash my favorite characters together in my head and see what happens

So for rarepairs the top two are definitely Eskel/Letho and Gaunter/Geralt (both pairs that different friends got me into originally), but I also am curious about or interested in (in no particular order):

Letho/Lambert, they would be either a fantastically and oddly steady pair or the worst, most explosive chemistry experiment ever (I’ve read/found one fic for them and it was v interesting)

Geralt/Dijkstra, as Geralt seems to just be irresistibly drawn to people who could snap him over their knee in one way or another

Gaunter/Dijkstra, because I find the thought hilarious and their dynamic would lowkey be the meme “you should be addicted to shutting the fuck up” “you wanna fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid” which is one of my favorite ship dynamics, and you can throw Geralt in there between them for an added bonus (p sure I’m the only one who’s done anything for these two/three and it was just a few silly doodles)

Emhyr/Dijkstra, cause artwinsdraws (I don’t wanna @ them for this but that’s their tumblr) have been drawing them together and it seems like they could have the same meme dynamic which I adore

Eskel/Gaunter/Geralt, mostly bc I like crack aus and I think they would have a fun dynamic to explore

And at the moment Gaunter/anyone because I am just a wee bit ✨obsessed✨

For slightly more mainstream pairs aside from Geralt/Regis, I do also enjoy:

Eskel/Geralt, they’re very sweet and lovely together and I appreciate them a lot

Eskel/Lambert, they’ve got like a “one is calm and the other is fucking crazy and they balance each other out” vibe

Geralt/book!Dandelion, for the ride or die friendship/love they absolutely have in the books

Lambert/Aidan, I’ve never made content for them but I like the stuff I’ve seen

Ciri/Cerys, cause they’re awesome

Geralt/Emhyr, I’m a little less into this pairing but a mutual of mine really likes them and their fics have actually been getting me more and more interested👀

In general, I’m pretty curious about and open to most rarepairs (and honestly I’m usually down to hear about new ones, feel free to drop me thoughts in my inbox). My main criteria for ships is that they have good and interesting chemistry, and aren’t like extra sus bc of various reasons (don’t get me started Geralt/Triss, I don’t like them together one bit)

(And yeah obligatory comment: I absolutely do not ship Geralt/Netflix!Jaskier at all, or really anything with Netflix!Jaskier even if it could be considered a rarepair, but that’s a whole other kettle of fish that I don’t need to dump on you lmao)

I would have to let my followers here know that this is strictly my honest and personal observation (which most fans would disagree on). Regarding your question, my opinions towards not only jeankasa but all the other mikasa ships are neutral. I dislike being or having any negative feelings towards other ships & i prefer to focus more on the positive sides of my own rarepair OTP ‘s canoe haha 

Tbh, I was not big on the idea of jeankasa for quite some time UNTIL ch.135. Physical attractiveness factors sure, jeankasa’s A++ but from character dynamics, before 135, I perceive an existing imbalance. I also look into the characters’ astrological compatibility. Both Eren & Jean are Aries with self-centric tendencies that could ‘suffocate’ Mikasa’s Aquarius internally (unpopular opinion, don’t shoot me. I admire Jean’s character development in canon!) I also feel like after four years, Mikasa sees Jean as an excellent comrade/Squad Leader. I’m very sure she’s not oblivious to his existing feelings for her. (if she can notice Annie’s feelings for Armin, she would have noticed Jean’s for her). Mikasa’s being pushed around like a ball by toxic masculinity in her environment before or after Eren goes ‘rogue’. Too often people see her as an angry, broken robot with disconnected tether, which frustrates me so much.

However. 135 finally showed me how selfless Jean is & I’m all for that! [also, it made me see ReiKasaJean as a good OT3 ;’) ]

If we go by typical shonen formula, Jeankasa would be a potential endgame with the highest probability (*looking at Bleach & Naruto) xD But I don’t know, Isayama’s eccentric in his own way, anything is unpredictable with this amazing, talented madman and I’m all for that ride. He did promise he would hurt his readers. I’m ready to be hurt haha

However, whichever Mikasa & X ship ends together or whoever the endgame partner for Mikasa in canon would be, as it is gradually revealed in few months time when the series ends -- if Isayama believes that X can bring her the happiness she truly deserves, then I’m genuinely happy for her. Although, as a Mikasa fan, at this point I’d really rather she be on her own, discovering her Azumabito family origins, exploring self-love more, go on an adventure (with Armin and Annie) all over the world like Arya in GOT and adopts Gabi & Falco as her kids and raising them with Reiner as platonic co-parents wops I’m gonna stop here before i get any more new headcanon ideas. Too long has this woman be in a man’s shadow that she’s now finally liberated in canon somewhat and I’d like to see her soaring higher than she’s ever been. She’s tethered herself to Eren for 10 years now, I just want to see her be truly free for once. If she chooses Jean at the end of SnK, I’d hope it’s because she truly loves him & not because he’s always been there to pick up the pieces left by Eren. It would be unfair to Jean as well because he’d know she’d only settle for him because he’s just there. All in all, I’m happy with any loving, healthy Mikasa ship as the endgame :) I hope this answer is not too long haha Thank you again for the kind Ask!

I liked your last prompt fics a lot! Can I ask, what YYH ships do you like? I notice you do a lot of kurameshi and some kurahi so I’m wondering if I send a prompt with a different one which ones you like writing more (like kuwameshi, or one with any of the girls, etc.).

Thank you so much! Kurahi has been my ride or die ship for a really long time, it was one of my first ships actually lol. Kurameshi is a new ship for me, it just swept in during my rewatch and stole my heart lol. Other yyh ships I’ve written for have been Shizuru/Botan, Keiko/Maya, and Koto/Juri. I’m a big multishipper so I tend to be down for anything. There are a few things I can’t ship. Like I can’t get into Yomi/Kurama. I do really Yoko/Kuronue, Kuwabara/Kurama. I’m not big into Kuwameshi, I prefer them as a brotp tbh, but I do like their potential shippiness. I do like Yusuke/Jin and Kurama/Touya. Jin/Touya.  I love rarepairs even if it’s one I don’t ship myself. I lowkey ship Rui/Hina cus in the au Hiei and Yukina would have the best lesbian moms. They deserve that kind of life. I don’t go into hetero ships too much, but I do really love Yusuke/Keiko cus I’m really weak for childhood friends turned lovers. And I’m really soft for Kuwabara/Yukina cus they’re like the poster children for wholesome fluff. I kind of ship Toguro/Genkai. Kurama/Maya is a pretty cute ship. I like seeing Kurama/Botan content cus they’re both really beautiful characters, though I don’t get too shippy with them. I rambled on way too long about ships lol. I’m pretty much with writing for just about anything. I haven’t finished the series yet which is the saddest thing to say considering how long I’ve loved this series lol. I won’t be getting wifi for a while and this has been sitting in my notes since 2015 idk if this has been done before but ye

- Fukurodani Kenma, wherein he and Kuroo are still childhood friends, and like, Kuroo expected Kenma to follow him to Nekoma then he finds out that Kenma’s in Fukurodani and his heart just shatters and Kenma admits he’s found a new drive for volleyball and that is spite

- Before you say anything about spite not being a good motivator oh honey that’s how my fried raised her B- to an A because she fucking hated one of the honor students

- In middle school, Kenma was going to quit volleyball and Kuroo told him not to and he uncharacteristically blows up like “you don’t know how this makes me feel!

- And he’s super angry at Kuroo during practice and he’s really good and there’s fire in his veins

- And on the first day of Kenma’s first year in high school Kuroo is just lowkey trying to find Kenma but he doesn’t

- And he goes for days, weeks, a month or two without any contact with him

- And on their practice match with Fukurodani he hears they have this new first year setter with pretty/scary eyes and Kuroo’s blood just runs cold

- And IT’S KENMA

- But SURPRISE SURPRISE Nekoma has the prince among mortals, Akaashi Keiji

- Kuroo’s kind of emo and brooding about the whole Kenma thing so when Akaashi first meets him he has this very quiet, almost serious air about him

- Tora and Akaashi do not?? Get along?? I mean, it looks that way, there’s just a lot of snark and sarcasm with the exchange of these two people

- Akaashi is not as exasperated bc everyone kind of has it together so he’s kind of shook when he first meets Bokuto and how that flips some sort fo switch in Kuroo and now they’re both loud

- So when they first meet there’s this tension between Kuroo and Kenma and even Bokuto isn’t clueless to it and Akaashi heard things from Yaku and stays out of it because he isn’t involved

- Kuroo and Bokuto are still bros, but there’s this silent bitterness that resounds within Kuroo

- Kuroo and Kenma met Bokuto in middle school and they had this friendly rivalry thing going on and Bokuto kind of had a crush on Kenma and Kuroo is bitter and salty af about it even though Kenma is unaware of how pretty he is (Nicole is PUSHING for rarepair lmao but dw it’s very minor I don’t wanna make anyone uncomfortable)

- Then he and Bokuto go to different high schools and deep down Kuroo still wouldn’t let it go and so when he finds out that Kenma went to Fukurodani it’s like TWICE THE PAIN

- Like, “Kenma chose Fukurodani. And by extension, he chose you.”

- If you’re wondering how the thing in middle school between Kenma and Kuroo went down now that Bokuto is involved; well, let’s just say he took Kenma’s side

- Kuroo and Bokuto fought, too, but they make up sooner

- Meanwhile, Kenma and Kuroo never really actually made up they just never talked about it again but things haven’t been the same since and they talk less and less

- Akaashi is just confused 80% of the time

- Kuroo tries not to parent Kenma but he’s just so used to it

- Bokuto does not parent Kenma but he spoils him a lot. Kuroo would try to get him to socialize or go outside and take away his PSP during breaks at training camp but Bokuto would let him play as much as he wants and lean over him (Nicole is PUSHING for rarepair it may not be as minor as I thought I promised)

- How are Bokuto and Kenma faring? Are they a mess? I’d like to think so; the two of them are like the kind that cling to each other and hold on tight and don’t let go at all, like…they’re heavily reliant on each other. They keep each other calm and is the other’s rock. It’s kind of out of character for Kenma, but when he went to Fukurodani, he was forcing himself into a new environment without Kuroo and it was very taxing on him and even though Bokuto wasn’t his ride or die he was just so relieved to have someone he knew in his new school

- tbh I just wanted to make this about Bokuto and Kenma because I am a rarepair garbage but it’s not fair and I gotta talk about all the parties involved
