To keep my streak of wins going, I went to my new gym for the first time!

TW: Fitness, dysphoria (+Peaches Face Jumpscare)

I did base strength training today so I wouldn’t put strain on my bad ankle. Phew! Everything burns and I can’t lift my arms above my sides, and it feels incredible. I would like to lose some weight admittedly, but moreover, I just wanna get stronger and have more stamina. Plus, working out will kickstart the masculinizing fat distribution process!

Speaking of! Incredible news: since it’s a small gym, they don’t have huge locker rooms. They have two single-room showers and a single-room unisex bathroom. I can change and shower directly at the gym! That was my biggest concern, admittedly, so that’s a weight off my chest.

And speaking of weight on my chest—

So I knew I’d have to deal with my tits because binding while working out is dangerous. I came in prepared for that. As a result, the chest dysphoria didn’t flare up too much until after I left the gym, thankfully!

What I was not expecting was the hip dysphoria. I’m just minding my business, doing some hip hinges with a kettlebell, and then I put it down and stand up and suddenly I’m face-to-face with

Thankfully that was right at the end of my workout because I was so mortified I was fighting back tears my whole cooldown 😭 I don’t really encounter any full-body mirrors in my daily life, so I’m left to wonder if it’s always been this obvious or if I just chose a pair of sweats that were too hugging. Either way, I fucking hate it, I’m getting new pants, and getting these disgusting hips more boxy-looking has shot up to the top of my priorities list.

That said! It occurred to me that I hadn’t done a monthly T progress post on my T subreddit in a couple of months (mostly because it’s been overrun with transmeds, naturally 😭). So just for the fun of it, I decided to directly compare how I looked today to my very first day on T, and…
