it started just as "me projecting on a character i happen to like" but i've grown increasingly fond of interpreting riko as transmasc (or really any form of trans who's unaware at this point in time). not in a "girl is rowdy? must really be Boy!" sense but rather in a "young trans person's life cut short on the cusp of grasping a better one for themself" sense

i just think there is something very transgender about riko, her (his for this post's sake) whole life convincing himself he's happy being treated as vaguely "special/different" and then. "Assimilated" - and i don't say this to deny riko's genuine feelings he shows about merging with tengen in the second episode, as i think they're more than just "what he tells himself to make himself feel better", but rather to express that while he's never questioned his lot in life, there's still more he's missing in ways of friends, community, and experiences, being only 14 after all, having his closest friend be his caregiver, having no strong feelings about the deaths of his family - and he only realizes this when he's granted all of that for only a few days.

being shown community and support by others and realizing, only when you have unconditional support and safety, there's more to life than assimilating and filling in the role you've been told you have to fill and have convinced yourself you want to fill. realizing you can be more. realizing you can make friends and have fun outside of the people you simply exist around. realizing you can thrive rather than just survive. realizing that the loneliness you feel needing to 'assimilate' isn't going to go away until you feel safe and loved enough to reject it entirely and start living the life you want to. yeah

i also just think (similarly to how i hc junpei as transfem) it's a tragic little show of "what could have been", for riko's life and all the opportunities and the person they could have been, regardless of gender, to be cut short.

a rundown of inés' major game choices. note: none of these are decisions i will push onto other writers, and will leave all companion choices up to those writers. they're just what i will go with by default. i think there's a lot of fun in exploring different options!

default romance: neve.

prologue: tries to stop varric talking solas down. harding comes to help her disrupt the ritual.

d'meta's crossing: leaves the mayor to his fate.

city saved: this is honestly the most flexible one as it is very much influenced by how much inés has started to realise that the crows are incredibly fucked up. she's also got more belief in the shadow dragons' work than the crows', and neve has shown her how good dock town is. however, she's also extremely scared of the talons and has yet to reach the point she does by endgame where she wants to burn the crows down as an organisation entirely. and she's not from treviso, but she is antivan. all this to say, could go either way, but leaning towards saving minrathous by default.

regrets/mythal: finds the dread wolf statues in the crossroads and views solas' regrets. attempts to convince mythal to help with words, but ends up having to fight her for her essence (surprising nobody).

companions: bellara: inés is not an elf and therefore doesn't feel like she can influence bellara either way, but will support her whichever she chooses. davrin: the griffons become sentinels of nature; he and inés have more than one conversation about people being able to change and not having to be defined by their past, even if they've done awful things, and she feels like change for his quest is a significant choice. also the wardens really fucked up the griffons before. emmrich: refuses to make a decision for him, however encourages him to let manfred go without becoming a lich either, because death is sometimes a closing of a chapter, and manfred made his choice. (choosing to save manfred is acceptable, though.) makes it very clear that if he chooses to become a lich regardless, he will no longer be welcome in the lighthouse and she'll want nothing to do with him. harding: encourages her to honour the titans' anger, specifically related to conversations about lace always repressing her anger to people please, inés' own survival technique of being too numb to feel anything, and her slowly learning to accept her good and bad feelings, including anger. if lace can honour anger without it consuming her, so can inés. lucanis: inés is bitter and angry after seeing villa dellamorte and makes it very clear that by the crows' own rules, illario should die; she's seen crows be executed for less, and it's another indication of the corruption the dellamortes benefitted from, to her, and she believes illario will get out of any prison almost instantly, anyway. she's learning that killing isn't always the answer, but it's harder when she's upset. she also walks out as soon as lucanis is announced as first talon, extremely pointedly given that she's a crow, and is very cold to him going forth, business only. (a measure of trust can be won back if lucanis starts talking to her about wanting to reform the crows and how they operate, but she has to see it to believe it.) neve: accepts the threads' deal to work together. encourages her to become dock town's protector. the city needs people looking out for it and its people, especially if it ends up blighted. taash: doesn't feel like she can make the decision for them, but encourages them to embrace being who they want to be, regardless of anyone else's input, her own included.

isle of the gods: harding leads the second team. bellara disables the wards.

solas: tricks him with the fake lyrium dagger. especially significant given inés over the course of the game has been learning not to react to everything with violence, and that there are other ways of doing things — and, when violence is necessary, to only use it if there's no other choice. she's still fucking furious with solas after the fade prison, and very much would like to kill him thank you very much, but fighting him with words instead of daggers/magic is a real indication of how far she's come. she reacted very harshly with lucanis, and though she doesn't regret it, she has reflected on it. and there's satisfaction in tricking the god of trickery.

okay this ask is super awesome!! i’ve been wanting to make a different analysis post of sorts for them because i think there are some really interesting things about the way they’re written that i never really see appreciated/acknowledged! but i digress.

i think that ppd is rlly fitting for sam, especially taking into consideration their attitude towards cecil in episode 88 and like. nearly all of the live shows. also the way they are with dana. i have like. a whole bunch of thoughts on this that r supported by the analysis i mentioned earlier? which supports that it’s not rlly just like. a Thing they have with those two. so hopefully i’ll add onto this if i ever end up making that post. but yes!!! ppd sam ftw!

personally i don’t see npd as much in them, although i completely understand why you’d think that? if u want to still incorporate that into your headcanons though, i won’t (and can’t!!) stop you. ty for asking! seeing this made me smile :3

I enjoyed this a lot! (surprise, surprise) But if I may add one reflection to "for andy playing tennis against novak and then losing was very much NOT fun and very much DID get in the way of the relationship." Ofc no one enjoys losing (although i think it's not out of the question that Andy might get more enjoyment out of playing a good match and losing than playing a terrible match and winning, so there's that as well...) but I'm not so sure how much it did really get in the way of the relationship. For one, I don't see any resentment from Andy ever about losing to Novak and in fact they seemed closer during that time than they did for Andy's last few years on tour, even practicing together regularly at the height of their rivalry which e.g. Fedal famously didn't do. And the other thing is, I'm not sure whether with the H2H being more equal or in Andy's favour he would have been comfortable with being much closer than he already was with a direct competitor. What I would say may have created more of a distance over time for sure is Andy deciding that he didn't quite belong with the big 3, which is apparent in his interviews and in the way he literally kept a distance from the big 3 during Roger’s retirement ceremony at Laver Cup (seriously, he's standing several meters away, at one point Roger gets up and walks over to him! He really should listen to Novak "and Andy!" Djokovic on this point instead... indeed the biggest Andy Murray/big 4 truther ever. I can't count the number of times he's added Andy into the conversation when explicitly asked about the big 3).

So to recap before this gets any longer, at least in my mind it's less of a "i can't be closer with the guy bc i keep losing to him and i hate that" and more of a "i can't be closer with the guy bc i keep losing to him and that means i don't belong here". If that makes sense?

novandy headcanons?

what this ask is forcing me to do is confront how much of my conception of novandy is not my own thinking but was downloaded directly into my brain from anon bff who is the real expert here. like, i have a broad-strokes vision but i lack the minute knowledge of lore to have specific headcanons about specific events. (am i just a sentient sock puppet? maybe.)

ok my take more or less is:

for novak playing tennis against andy and then losing was frustrating in the moment but fun in the longterm. not saying that he enjoyed losing, lmao i think we're all on the same page there, but it didn't get in the way of the relationship.

ever since it did novak has wanted and believed in the happy ending where they get past everything (expectations, disappointment, rivalry, interpersonal family drama, etc) and reconnect and have a special relationship again. just two old friends watching their kids play as the sun goes down.

the weight of expectation on andy—singlehandedly overcome the 77 year british men's tennis curse—was placed there by forces outside of his control.

the weight of expectation on novak—make my country proud, look after my family, make their sacrifices worth it, make my sacrifices worth it—was placed there by himself.

if as young players a magical wish-granting creature had presented novak with the chance to trade his future trophies for andy's health, there was 100% a point at which he would have made the deal, even if he later had cause to regret it. that moment passed. 

there was not a point at which andy would have made the same deal in reverse. and yet if you gave him the option of a do-over now, he wouldn't take it.

we talk a lot now about what roger's said about not wanting novak to crash the fedal lovefest. (even though—sidenote—if you ask me it took novak's ascendance to solidify the fedal lovefest, like once he was on the radar roger once and for all abandoned the dreams of glorious solitary splendor and fully embraced that rafa is GREAT rafa thinks i'm great rafa is my most special rivalfriendsituation. fuck this new kid.)

your father didn’t seem to really trust the idea brought to the table, the implication of magic clashing with his ideals. therefore you leaned closer to him, head against his shoulder as you read the notebook as well, noticing viktor’s neat handwriting.

“oh, daddy, isn’t this just so so so interesting?” you voiced with a honey sweet tone, locking his arm with your own.

“look, portals to quickly travel between regions? imagine all the money piltover would make, all thanks to you investing in ‘em.” you murmured now, locking eyes with viktor, who was smirking at you subtly, jayce too nervous to even hear what you said (◕︿◕✿)

“hmm, still, darling, magic?” your father questioned with a slight disgust in his voice, putting the papers down and sighing while massaging his mustache.

“wasn’t piltover the city of progress? this really seems like progress to me…” you looked at him with a pout plastered on your juicy lips. “i think leaving old stigmas and taboos behind is really… progressy.”

s1!jayvik who watch you leave towards the gardens after making your father deal with them a crazy amount of money with just some puppy eyes and sultry voice.

s1!jayvik who catch a glimpse of your white nightgown covering the grass of said garden while you sat down, playing around with a stray cat, it almost seemed like you were waiting for them.

s1!jayvik who approach you after viktor insisted, to thank you, and maybe have an intimate conversation with you, too.

“thank you for interfering, my lady, if it wasn’t for you we would’ve left empty handed.” viktor confessed while siting down on the stone bench under the white pergola where you sat, the moonlight highlighting your angel-like features, leaving his cane on top of said surface.

jayce sat down in front of you in the floor with some distance, legs crossed and arms propped behind him, tilting his head to the side when he noticed how you scooted closer to him and blushing to this right after.

“well, it wasn’t charity, you know.” you murmur in a sweet tone, curling your hair around your manicured finger as you stood on your knees, taking support from jayce’s thick thigh to end up facing viktor from above, as if you were worshipping him.

the skinnier man scoffed at this, noticing how your cheek rested now against his inner thigh, how your hair fell down your exposed back as jayce held your hand to take place in the empty space next to you, mimicking how you rested your head to stare at you, viktor caressing his now not so put together hair in a way he seemed to be accustomed already.

“then, what is it that you desire from us in exchange, little angel?” he questioned with that accent that you started to fall in love with, his thin fingers coming down to hold your chin, making you look up to him.

“mmm, i dunno…” you feigned hesitation, reaching jayce’s handsome face to scratch behind his ear slowly, noticing how he didn’t comply, such a puppy. “maybe take me to your laboratory and show me your advances from time to time.” you pouted when you felt his thumb smudge some of your expensive lipstick away.

“wouldn’t want you two forgetting about me.” you confessed before taking said thumb between your lips, looking up to him. jayce took your smaller hand between his, inhaling your cherry scented hand cream before peppering kisses all over it.

“we would never forget about you, bunny.” he said softly against your skin, caressing your cheek while you kept on sucking viktor’s finger, adverting your gaze to him now. “you can come over anytime, maybe we can make you find science more interesting.”

viktor chuckled before emptying your mouth and leaving jayce’s hair be, gaining a whine from both of you. “so it is settled, we’ll see you tomorrow at the academy, correct?” he asked while taking his cane to stand up from where he sat, motioning his hand to order jayce to do the same.

you imitate their actions, tidying your hair before grabbing their holding hands with yours, standing on your tippy toes to leave a noisy smooch against their cheeks, decorating them with the granate of your lips. “you most definitely will, gentlemen.”

s1!jayvik who don’t notice how your father stared at the whole play from the beginning, shaking his head on disappointment at you; always playing around with men.

s1!jayvik who walk towards their ride in silence, jayce still inhaling your lingering scent and the soft of you lips against his cheeks, viktor trying to not think too much about the growing boner you gave him (*_ _)

But yeah i have some Headcanons! At least for Alastor cause he's the one I think about the most.😜

These are just things I decided to keep in mind when I come up with scripts:

*Al's smile is stitched on him, so he can never stop doing it even if he wanted to.

*He normaly doesn't sleep, (except when hes injured and is using a lot of energy to heal.) at night he just wanders around the hotel like a creepy ghost.

*I don't think Lilith owns his soul. I think it's a third party character we haven't met yet. He and Lilith are connected in some way, obviously, but not a soul-contract way. I honestly have a lot of problems with that theory. for excample: Why would Lilith from the Bible give someone voodoo themed powers???

*Alastor is terrified of feeling exposed, weak or vulnerable. I think when he was alive he experienced that a lot and now he's trying to make himself impervious to any kind of emotional damage.

* He's also very prideful person. When he came to Hell he was like the new kid in school taking down the biggest guy's there to assert his dominance. Putting up walls as fast as he could and screaming: "Don't come near me or I'll bite your head off!"

*I think there's a voodoo doll of him somewhere, and he's desperate to find it. Or he has found it already and hidden it.

*he wants Charlie's soul because that would make him stronger than whoever owns his soul. Therefore be able to break his contract but still keep being powerful.

* I project onto him one of my own personality traits: Being aroace but very romanticly flirty without wanting really anything out if it. Just a proper gentleman. With a trail of confused, broken hearts behind him. (Im personally tryin not to do that but Al doesn't care, obvs.)😅

*People who want him sexually bore him. (Another personality trait I'm projecting onto him.)

*unless you're more powerful than him or are able to further his goals, he'll never go out of his way to dislike you. He never punches down, but he wont have any strong feelings about it.

THIS THIS THIS. The charm of the creepypasta fandom IS all of the different interpretations that bring each character to life in their own unique ways. It’s not a fandom where there’s a clear cut path to follow for a movie production to follow, so no matter what someone would be left disappointed. It’s one of those things where people just have to leave it to the original media instead of attempt to bring it into a platform that erases all of the good attributes of this fandom’s creative sphere.

hot take- I hope nobody ever makes a creepypasta movie. Ever. Even if it’s animated. Everybody has such different variations of each character. Like for example- Somebody might view jeff as like an angsty teenager and others might view him as like a gross man in his 40s, you know? And it goes beyond that into personality. I know a lot of people like me in the fandom who dislike the canon stories and have made ones of their own, and stuff like that. I feel like a movie would never work because if they just go off the popular fanon interpretation it would disappoint people. As well as the canon versions, AS WELL AS THE MORE REALISTIC- FANON VERSIONS?? like I just think it would be a total disappointment either way. Don’t even get me started on which versions of the characters they would use since there’s so many. Like for me personally it would just be disappointing and if it was a really really big movie the fandom would get like lots of like ACTUAL weirdos and oh my god it would get so weird.

❥ he’s pretty confident in your relationship but on the off chance he does get jealous, he’ll let it play out for awhile as he watches from afar.

❥ he’ll play it off as a joke, but if the person starts getting a little too touchy, he’ll ‘casually’ slide in with an arm around your waist and a kiss on your jaw, looking into the person’s eyes while you giggle at the sudden affection.

❥ dante would lowkey try to one-up them on the down low. oh, they buy you a drink? dante’s buying you ten. they compliment your hair? dante’s in your ear telling you how gorgeous you look today.

❥ and it’s not like he feels like he needs to give you false compliments just to one-up the other person, he just finds it amusing the way their jaw clenches when they see dante muttering in your ear while his eyes lock on them, a shit eating grin glued to his face because he knows what he’s doing.

❥ if you leave for whatever reason, dante might ‘accidentally’ make the person uncomfortable if they don’t get the hint already just by his tone. he’ll make passive aggressive comments if they’ve been getting too touchy, maybe nudge them a little too hard in the ribs or grip their shoulder a bit too tight at a ‘really funny joke’.

❥ dante does trust you though, it’s only when the person starts to get physical is when it becomes more of a problem. his energy speaks volumes, so you can tell if he has underlying intentions just from his smile.

❥ he’ll try to act friendly, albeit still a little petty, even if you know them personally. an arm slung across your shoulder or your waist along with scattered kisses across your face and shoulder is his main go-to. dante’s main goal is either for them to get the hint or for your mind to be occupied on him only.

❥ now VERGIL.. vergil is much more intimidating with his reactions. once he spots someone chatting it up with you and getting a little too close, he’s there in an instant.

❥ the only difference between him and dante’s reaction is that fact that vergil silently brews, eyes burning holes through the person as he watches quietly. he’ll take a seat next to you as his eyes never leave them, even once you greet him when he sits with you— just his piercing gaze staring them down.

❥ he swears that he doesn’t get jealous, that’s he’s better than whatever assumption you’re implying, oh my my! how dare you assume such things about this son of sparda?

❥ but alas, vergil gets hella jealous.

❥ it’s not that he doesn’t trust you, he’s just very possessive over you. and it’s not like he’ll keep you locked away for him and him only, either. it’s simply a matter that involves his own ego and i don’t know if it’s some demon thing, but he just craves your scent. that, or his scent on you. just something that tells people that you’re his and he’s yours.

❥ if the person doesn’t take the hint after the abundance in glares that vergil throws at them, he’ll start making remarks. nothing too serious, just initiating some sort of confrontation if he sees that you’re uncomfortable. if you don’t seem annoyed or bothered by it, vergil will second-guess it and leave you to your own devices, trusting that you’ll handle it at some point.

❥ i doubt anybody would try vergil, so i wouldn’t even consider that a possibility. he’s a devil hunter that’s over six feet tall with a fit body and yamato sheathed in his back pocket, nobody in their right mind would fuck with him.

❥ vergil obviously knows to be logical, though. he doesn’t let his emotions get the better of him during this time and hopes that you’ll know how to handle it yourself. although, he definitely wouldn’t mind scaring the person off a little more.

❥ i honestly doubt that this man can keep his mouth shut. NERO just struggles with not making a stupid smartass remark every second.

❥ nero definitely has some insecurities that he buries, often only coming out in shorts bursts of when he can’t take it anymore. these jabs and quips that he makes are his form of concealing the fact that he’s insecure about himself and his abilities, especially if this is during or post-to-finding-out-who-his-father-is.

❥ i wouldn’t say he’s aggressive, but his mouth would def get him into big trouble. if he saw that you looked uncomfortable with the person or they started getting too touchy with you, he literally teleports next to you and greets you with a chaste cheek kiss. if you seemed okay with it, though, he’d try his best to brush it off but still glance at you every once in awhile (and by that i mean literally every minute) just to check on you.

❥ if he does decide to sit with you and just listen in on the conversation, he’ll basically just be hovering over you awkwardly. there are two ways this’ll go, either nero’s going to act all nonchalant like he doesn’t care even though he has a keen eye on whoever’s flirting with you (like father like son)— or he’s going to be really clingy with you.

❥ not really physically clingy, but more so clingy in the way where he’ll follow you around like a dog with heart eyes the whole time. even after you’ve stopped talking to the person.

❥ (he’s just like that, guys.)

❥ i think he gets a tiny bit butthurt afterwards though. i mean, he’s been called dead weight and basically has been looked down upon by both his father and his uncle, essentially being seen almost as a pest during the duration of dmc5.

❥ i think v is a very calm natured guy, and i think he has a lot of faith in you. he trusts that you’ll be able to make the right choice in the end, and he knows that you wouldn’t just up and cheat on him or leave him out of the blue. he knows you know better and so he leaves you be.

❥ though.. it doesn’t hurt to watch from afar, does it?

❥ v is also an observer, he watches the interactions between you two as he studies both of your body languages. it’s not like he thinks you’ll do anything, it’s just his nature.

❥ griffon would definitely tease him about looking at you so much, squawking out nonsense as he calls v whipped for you.

❥ if he sees that you’re uncomfortable or you want to get out of the conversation— it can go a few different ways.

❥ one of the scenarios, for instance, would consist of him closing his book as he gets up and he walks over to the two of you. he’d greet you sweetly, side-eyeing the person in front of you as he kisses your hand. maybe he’d take a seat next to you just to let the person know that he’s watching. and if that didn’t work, griffon would certainly scare them off just by his yapping.
