if your still taking requests I would like to request reader scraping their knees and tasm!peter patching her up and it’s a lot of lovely tension:))) maybe r not being used to people touching them without bad intentions.
I hope you are having a lovely time right now and are taking care of yourself<3
thank you lovely! ♡ fem, 1k
Peter's droopy eyed when you knock, less so when he gets a good look at you. Blood leading like twin snakes from the grazed ache of your knees and staining your socks, tears lining your eyes and shiny in the sun, you're embarrassingly sad. He doesn't give you shit for it, the opposite.
"Fuck," he says, his eyes widening with a familiar concern. "Shit, what did you do?"
"Uhm," you say, though you know, but you bit your tongue on the way down and everything hurts, "I fell. Someone bumped into me coming out of the subway."
Peter holds his hands out, thinks better of it and steps down over the door jam to take your hands and pull you forward for a hug. He smells like apple jack cereal and his hair is still wet from an early morning shower, a walking poster boy for brown-haired, brown-eyed sweethearts everywhere, but you still seize at his tight hold.
He murmurs a sorry and leans back, assessing your gaze, so close that you can see the trifecta of his pinprick beauty marks, one in the shadow of his brow, one under his eye, and one closer to his nose.
"Come on. We'll clean you up."
Peter ushers you inside, his fingertips brushing the small of your back. You walk into the kitchen, every surface clean, the wooden dining table decorated by one empty coffee cup and one half full. His cereal bowl has been washed and left to dry on the rack, next to what must've been his Aunt May's plate.
"May's in work already?" you ask him.
He hums, turned away from you, a slip of his long, shapely back exposed as he reaches for the first aid kit sitting on top of one of the cabinets. "She said to tell you thank you for the flowers last week."
You panicked so much beforehand. What do you bring for your not quite new friend's mom when you meet her for the first time? You've known Peter for a few months but never had the good fortune to meet May until she demanded it, your bouquet a weak offering. You'd wanted her to like you, because despite your fight or flight whenever he gives you a quick shoulder rub, any ounce of affection, you really like Peter.
Said flowers draw your attention as Peter helps you up onto the counter. You turn away from him, trembling hands forced under your thighs, and count the petals of a wilting carnation one by one as he washes his hands quickly in the sink beside you before laying out the sterile bandages atop their plastic coverings. "I'm gonna wipe the blood off," he says.
You're past saying no, I can do it myself. You already let him help you up. The time to protest is passed.
"Okay."
He takes your wobbly voice for nervousness, and you are nervous, but not the way he thinks. "I'll be careful," he says. "You don't have anything to worry about."
Strange but not unheard of for Peter to be so serious. You nod jerkily, waiting for his touch. It doesn't come for a while, and you brave meeting his gaze to find out why.
His eyebrows are sewn together in concern. His hands land on your thighs, and, to your surprise, you aren't apprehensive. You relax as deft hands draw mirrored lines up and down the outer sides of your legs, leaving a generous distance from the beginnings of your shorts. "Maybe you can take some advil first, if you're worried." He eases your legs apart as he steps into the space between them, his eyes unfailing where they meet yours. "It'll hurt less. I bet I could get some topical numbing cream–"
"It's not–" You peek down at his chest. "I'm not worried about my knees."
"Oh. Good," he says, hand coming up to your elbow. He holds it so tenderly you wonder how you ever thought he might have a propensity for anything but tenderness. "You look really nice, under all the blood. Is that weird? That's probably why you fell, you couldn't just walk around looking that nice. Throws off the balance of the universe."
You laugh softly. "These are my best socks."
"I can see that!" He squeezes down from your elbow to your hand. You've never been touched like that, half massage, half reassurance, just squeezing you to squeeze you. Laughter livens his tone, "I'll get you new socks."
"You don't have to do that."
"I want to."
You struggle to breathe as he cleans your knees. Between his murmuring, It's okay and Almost done, you've no time to feel worried.
You've time for other things, like this. He turns between your legs and slides a hand under the other, fingertips pressing into the soft underside of your knee as he works a thin layer of disinfecting ointment into your scratches. He continues his murmuring, apologies and lamentation alike. "Sorry. Don't want you catching rabies from the pristine streets of Queens. I mean, fuck, sweetheart, you made a real mess. How hard did you fall?"
You swallow a lump that feels fit to choke you, worse when he tilts his head ever so slightly your way, face an inch from yours, less.
"Hard," you say weakly.
He misses the implication (your first stroke of luck all day), smoothing a large square of gauze over your knee and securing it with medical tape. "It's nothing a day on the couch can't fix. I'll make you breakfast too, free of charge."
"Thanks, Peter."
He rubs the skin above your knee. "You're welcome. One horrendous injury down, one to go."
His touch feels even softer the second time around.

Personal Ranking of the Fantasy High Moms, From Worst to Best:
Arianwen Abernant: -19999/10. She's not as bad as Angwyn, since she's convinced herself she's a good mother, but her "I just want the best for you" shtick isn't any better, and the fact that she's ignorant about how horrible she is doesn't make up for years of neglect. And she also attempted to rope her daughters into raising a being of pure nightmares because she lost her status, so.
Donna Applebees: 0/10. Conservative, racist, judgmental, only loves her kids conditionally... you get the gist. Also, she's absolutely a Karen.
Hallariel Seacaster: 3/10. Yes, I know, she's a MILF, she's got such an iconic vibe, she's a badass with a sword, but none of that excuses years of being emotionally absent from your son's life. She's not a bad person, but she unfortunately doesn't know how to be a mom. Sorry, Hallariel. I wish I could rank you higher.
The Last Phoenix: 5/10. Bird. She's a bird. We don't know enough about her except for the fact that she is the last phoenix, she started out as a "haha Arthur Aguefort is a crazy motherfucker" gag, and she gave us the incredible gift that is Ayda. I cannot rank her fairly, but given that she is Ayda's mom, she goes on the list.
Roz Last-Name-Unknown: 6/10. Same deal with Gorbag---we don't know enough about her for me to properly rank her, but we do know that she was a teen mom, and she's made the choice to reconnect with her son and be in his life. Props for that.
Sandralynn Faeth: 7.5/10. I am ranking her realistically, but let it be known that I love her so much. She is such a beautiful example of a flawed person who consistently tries to be better, and even though she does relapse into old behaviors, she's still growing---and outside of the serial cheating (that is a response to trauma, by the way) and occasional lapses in social skills, she's a pretty damn good mom, all things considered.
Cathilda Ceili: 8/10. She's the parent that Fabian needed, even if he didn't always realize it. She's sweet, she's caring, and if anybody hurts her boy, she will fucking rock your shit. (Also, the reveal of Cathilda being an incredibly fearsome and ruthless pirate outside of Solace was one of my favorites.)
Wilma Thistlespring: 9/10. She's a caring and supportive mom who writes songs, is sex-positive, and loves her son! Again, she does need to recognize when she's embarrassing Gorgug, and she needs to recognize that he's gotta learn how to be angry, but still! We all love her!
Lydia Barkrock: 9.6/10. While she doesn't quite get the full score due to the fact that her son was briefly an ass, it clearly was not her fault, and from what we've seen of her, she is a fantastic mom. She's a badass disabled powerhouse who cooks incredible spreads and cares about her son and his friends a lot. I love her a lot. She's amazing.
Sklonda Gukgak: 10/10. She took that spot in her very first scene, where she poured water in her cereal so Riz could have milk in his, and she's been holding it up ever since. Despite the fact that she's constantly swamped with work, Sklonda is literally one of the best moms you could ever ask for. She deserves the world and it's a constant injustice that she's not getting it.
Bonus: Garthy O'Brien, while having transcended gender and therefore not being able to fit into either of the "mom/dad" rankings, is an 11/10 parent---not just to Ayda, but to everyone younger than them who they've essentially adopted. Words cannot express my adoration for this person.

Hoohoohoo look at all these requests I’m behind on that I get to binge 🤭
I have one of my own tho, if you want! I just neeed Dad!Carmy and mom reader like so bad I just need some domestic fluffiness with him. I feel like he would such a cute protective dad especially with a daughter. Like imagine if she was picky and he made all her fav foods from scratch for her in cute little shapes. Stop.🥹
omg ahhh!!! a picky little baby bear i'll sob rn!!!
"Look! Look at what Daddy made you, Teddy." You cooed, bouncing the two year old on your hip, her curls tickling your chin. Carmen turned the pan towards her, far enough she couldn't touch but close so she could see the tiny heart shaped pancake in the pan.
"Mmm, doesn't that look so yummy?" Your tone lilted, exaggerated but soft, hoping it might sway the stubborn two year old.
Carmen's eyes rounded, hopeful that she might be impressed- would finally be impressed. Instead, Teddy just blinked, looking from you back to Carmen. "No."
Carmen's shoulder's deflated, letting the pan rest back over the flame. Teddy turned two only a month ago, and since then, she'd entered a new realm, passing the "terrible twos" and going into something much worse. You blamed Carmen, she had inherited his stubbornness and this was his own form of karma, because no matter what he did, the answer was the same- no.
"You're being silly." You tsked lightly, shaking your head at her. "You love pancakes."
"No." Teddy shook her head, curling further into your chest.
"Then what do you want, baby?" Carmen's tone was tired, and holy shit was he. "Do you want cereal?"
"No."
"Do you want eggs?" You tried.
"No."
"Do you want donuts?" Carmen tried again, ignoring your glare over her head. He was desperate, desperate for any other answer other than no.
"No." Teddy whined, wiggling in your arms to get down.
You set her carefully on the ground, letting her walk towards the cabinets, pulling on the child proofed locks. Carmen looked at you, tired, defeated, a little hurt. "I don't know what she wants." He admitted.
You shrugged gently, running a hand down the soft cotton of his shirt. "She'll eat it. I think she just likes saying no because you give her a reaction." You hummed, giving him a very pointed look.
Carmen snorted lightly, shaking his head. "Yeah? Who's she get that from, hm?" He hummed, arms snaking around your waist to pull him back into you. "Sounds like she gets it from you."
You giggled, pushing his hands off your sides. "More like she gets it from you." You pushed a finger into his chest. "This trait screams Berzatto, and you know it."
Carmen rolled his eyes, looking at Teddy on the floor, yanking furiously on the cabinets. "Hey, cut that out." Carmen said, firm with a little frown that had her stopping, rounded eyes meeting his. "That's not for you, Dorothea, stop."
The use of her full name, not the beloved "Teddy" nickname had her bottom lip quivering, your breath hitching knowing tears were coming. A loud wail filled the kitchen, Carmen's heart sinking when Teddy ran into your legs, hiding her face in the soft fabric of your pajama pants.
"Mama!" You picked her up, cradling her against your chest. Carmen looked sick, wracked with guilt. You snorted lightly, shaking your head. Teddy's crocodile tears won him over every time, had him bending to her every whim which you were sure is why she did it.
"She's fine," You hum, running a hand down her curls. She wasn't even fully committed to this "breakdown" already quieting down her sobs, clearly distracted with something over your shoulder.
"Teddy," Carmen's hand was on her back, nearly covering her whole little spine. It made you want to melt. She looked at him, bottom lip jutted and sniffling in a way that looked so much like you. No wonder Carmen didn't stand a chance ever staying mad at her.
"What do you want, Teddy Bear? You have to eat. What do you want Daddy to make you?" Carmen's voice was calm, gentler now and a near coo. You were sure at her nap time you were going to try and convince him for a sibling for Teddy, or at least try and practice.
Teddy whined, pointing at the cabinet she'd been pulling on earlier. Carmen's brows furrowed curiously before opening it, sighing heavily. "You gotta be fuckin' kidding me-"
"-Carmen." You hissed, eyes cutting to Teddy, who was not paying attention, thankfully.
"She wants goldfish again!" Carmen sighed, pulling out the orange box with the smiling cracker on it. Teddy perked, squirming in your arms to get down. "All she wants to eat is this!"
"Just let her have them. I'll cut the pancake too, maybe she'll eat that." You shrug, reaching for the cooling stack on the counter.
"This can not be healthy, baby. Maybe I should try and make them again? With some vegetables and-and I'll blend then better this time-"
"-Carmy, she spit those out last time." You bit back a laugh, remembering the disaster that was the homemade goldfish.
Carmen sighed, running a hand through his hair, setting the bowl of goldfish on the ground while you fixed her high chair. "I know." He sighed. "I just... I feel like she should be eating something healthier, ya know?"
"I think you're gonna have to give into her a little, Mr. Stubborn." You smirked, he was only proving your point now. "Give her the goldfish and the other. She won't even know she's eating it, promise." You hummed, tossing the pancakes on the tray and picking Teddy up to fasten her in.
"That doesn't seem right." Carmen frowned. "Tricking her into eating things."
"She's two, Carmen." You rolled your eyes lightly at him. "It's not like we're force feeding her. She likes it." You nod towards your baby, chubby little fingers grabbing the cut pancake, shoving it in her mouth. "If she didn't like it, we'd know. We didn't force her to eat the homemade goldfish. Now that would have been wrong." You smirked.
Carmen rolled his eyes. "Funny." He scoffed. "I just worry about her."
"I know you do." You hum, wrapping your arm around his torso. "You're a good dad like that."
"Yeah?" Carmen blushed, heart soaring under your praise. "You think I'm a good dad."
"You know I do." You shook your head lightly at him, letting your cheek rest against his chest.
"I think you're a good mom. The best mom." Carmen added, leaning down to peck your head.
You smiled, tilting your head back so he could kiss you, fully and sweet, lips slotting over yours, hand pressed into your spine to pull you closer. It wasn't nearly the sloppy make outs you used to have on Sunday mornings, sweeter now.
A sharp jab to your temple had you pulling away, hearing the soft clatter of something on the ground. You gaped, looking at the goldfish back at Teddy, who giggled wildly. "Dorothea, did you throw that?" You frowned, her laughter only growing louder.
Carmen bit back his own laugh, turning back to the stove, while you picked the food off the floor. "That," Carmen muttered. "Is definitely a you trait, baby."

AN: In celebration of me being on my period, (yay being a woman..) I figured, why not there be head cannons of the Evan’s response to you being on that time of the month. It’s something small but why not. Theres also a little bit of NSFW, so fair warning.
Ps. It is my birthday today 😽🫶
TW: Blood, NSFW, oral, fingering, unprotected p in v and stuff
———————————————————————————
Tate Langdon
———————————
Tate would set up a heating pad for you and
Grab you your favorite book to read
.
Play your favorite music and rest his head on your lower stomach, in hopes the weight of him might help the cramps.
.
Would pepper kisses everywhere to help distract the pain
.
He would sit criss crossed on the bed facing you and will rub your clit to help ease the pain, until you finish
Kit Walker
——————————
Kit would kiss your lower stomach and give you a deep massage where your uterus lays
.
Would buy you chocolate and your favorite desserts
.
Would do all the house work and chores for you, whilst you get plenty of rest (He'll be wearing your frilly apron while doing all the work)
.
He would dick you down so good, it'll cure those cramps by how deep he hits in you, completely bottoming himself out
Kyle Spencer
—————————
Kyle would take you out for a nice dinner
.
He would take you shopping and even surprise you with flowers
.
He doesn't know what exactly the difference is between pads and tampons, so he buys them both.

.
Would set up a warm bubble bath with candles, with rose petals on the surface of the water and with a glass of wine on the side
.
Would pamper you and caress you up and down, leaving kisses and love bites all over
.
Would kiss up your thighs and eat you out. Even when it's all a bloody mess, he loves the taste. Especially since it's you
Kai Anderson
——————————
Kai isn't really the kind to pamper you. He thinks it's being vulnerable
.
You're only allowed to skip one meeting for cramps/major discomfort, but you would have to make it up to him later
.
He also gets irritated when you're PMSing, but will soon apologize, not by words but by showing physical touch, such as in hugging behind you, nuzzling your neck and much more
.
Kai's idea of curing your cramps is to fuck you with a vibrator hard and fast. Your whole body and core will be shaking after, and once you finish he'll rail you to the bed. No protection, no towel, he'll leave the blood everywhere to show what mess he created from you
Warren Lipka
——————————
Warren would let you lay in his flannel and will spoon you in bed, placing his warm hands over your lower belly to cradle
.
He would pass you a blunt to ease the pain and to help you relax
.
He's too lazy to cook, so he'll probably make you a bowl of cereal
.
He would let you ride him all much as you wanted. Until of course when he finishes in you.
Peter Maximoff
——————————
Peter would do anything for you, no matter how crazy the request might be
.
Would "buy" you junk food in seconds
.
He would let you sit on his lap while you play one of his video games on the tv, while rubbing your lower tummy in a circular motion
.
Sure he's fast, but you don't know fast until he finger fucks you and using his other hand to rub your tender aching clit like a vibrator

[ ꜱᴀᴛᴏʀᴜ ɢᴏᴊᴏ ] ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴇɪɢʜʙᴏᴜʀʜᴏᴏᴅ ᴍᴏᴍ ᴀꜱꜱᴏᴄɪᴀᴛɪᴏɴ
Tumblr media
summary: just a simple one-shot of your life before Megumi went to Jujutsu Tech tw: implied fem!reader but no pronouns are used note: listen, gojo has a chokehold on me but domestic!gojo? ooohh boy words: 811 (it's pretty short) jujutsu kaisen masterlist
Tumblr media
YOU BROWSE THE ISLE BOREDLY. Some old Ed Sheeran song playing over the low-quality speaker of the grocery store as your eyes scour the colourful array of cereal boxes in front of you.
It had been an annoying experience this morning, waking up to find not only all the Captain Crunch cereal but also the instant coffee gone.
Usually Gojo does all the grocery shopping (which leads to an unequal ratio of healthy- to junkfoods.) But he's out on a mission and you can't survive without coffee.
So, here you are, trying to find a good cereal.
You could just get Captain Crunch, but Megumi complained about it last time so that was a no-go.
"You should get that one," A feminine voice spoke up as you were reading the label of a bright pink box.
You turn around to face the unfamiliar voice. "Excuse me?"
An elder woman, maybe ten years older than you, holds up a dark green box with what seems to be the picture of a monkey and chocolate shells.
"This cereal—it's more nutritious but my kids love it because it tastes like chocolate."
"I'm sorry, do I know you?" You question, a little taken aback. The woman's smile falters a little and suddenly you think you've made a mistake. Had you met her at a parent-teacher conference, maybe?
But thankfully she quickly reassures you. "Oh, no sorry, I'm Saori Aino," She introduces, maneuvering past her cart to shake your hand, "I live in apartment 107. I suppose I got a little ahead of myself there."
"Ah, okay, it's alright," You reply quickly, smiling somewhat awkwardly as you shake her hand, "I'm Y/N L/N."
The woman nods as she hands you the box of cereal, letting out a soft giggle. "Oh, I know. My son goes to the same middle-school as your daughter—tells me how Tsumiki can never shut up about how amazing you are."
The comment makes you go a little red as you smile, "Really?"
"Oh yeah, honestly we're all dying to meet you—you should swing by a PTA meeting some time," Saori replies, "I know all the other parents would love to meet you. Bring your husband too!"
Before you can reply that technically Satoru isn't your husband yet, Saori continues excitedly. "Actually, the spring dance is coming up, and we need volunteer chaperones."
"Oh, uhm, I suppose I could check my schedule..." You reply, sheepishly rubbing the back of your neck.
"That's great!" She replies, clasping her hands together excitedly before checking her watch, "Ah, I should really get going and make dinner but think about what I said. And don't be shy to ask for a favour every now and then, we parents should stick together, right?"
Saori doesn't give you the time to reply as she quickly walks off with a small wave. Leaving you standing there with a box of cereal in your hand, wondering what had just happened.
Tumblr media
You're lazing on the couch—halfheartedly listening to the protagonist of the movie monologue—when Satoru get home that night.
He leans over the back of the couch, watching along for a couple of minutes before jumping over it and plopping down next to you.
You quickly wing your legs over his lap as he takes of his blindfold, tiredly resting your head on his shoulder.
"How'd the mission go?"
"As always, it was a walk in the park."
You playfully roll you eyes at his bragging tone. "How was it here? Anything exciting happen?" Satoru asks, wrapping an arm around your shoulder as he relaxes.
"Nothing special, just ran some errands, helped Tsumiki with math—at least I think I did, pretty sure we were both crying about the primitive at some point."
Then you suddenly remember your interaction at the store. "Oh, and I think I'm officially a part of the neighbourhood mom association."
Gojo peels his eyes away form the glowing screen, "What?"
"Yeah, I was grocery shopping today—because somebody finished all the coffee and didn't bother to restock—" He feigns an innocent face at that—"And one of the moms that lives in the building walked up to me."
He raises a brow at the statement. "She started talking 'bout how the PTA would love to have us join them, they need chaperones for Tsumiki's spring dance, and how we shouldn't be shy and ask for help if we need it, etc."
"Congratulations," He replies sarcastically, grinning at the proud smile on your face. You nod, "I think I deserve to be recognized as a parent after putting up with you and Megumi."
Satoru just rolls his eyes playfully.
"Oh and by the way, everyone thinks you're my husband."
He lets out a laugh at that statement, placing a sloppy kiss on you cheek, "Yeah, I should probably get on that, huh?"
"Probably."

Lin Kuei Sibling Headcanons
Tumblr media
I gotta stop using the same gifs over and over again. Anywho, just random headcanons about them when they were younger. A few of these is what my siblings and I did but listen-. No sad shit this time around, but next time issa wrap no bun (word to CoryXKenshin)
When they were younger Bi-Han realized someone was drinking his shit, so he started spitting in it
He also loudly announces that he did so and that whoever drank his shit was drinking his germs
Kuai Liang responded by saying “well we both share the same DNA”
Revolting. Yuck.
Tomas smiles when he's nervous so people always think he's lying.
“Did you drink my slushy?” “No” “Yes you did. You're smiling” “YOU'RE MAKING ME NERVOUS”
D if you ever see this, I did not drink that fucking slushy years ago and getting mom involved was actually so foul. “Put that on my dead granny”, WHY WOULD I LIE ON GRANDMA? I SHOULD'VE drank it. Should've took a big ass gulp
Moving on-
Like I said in my last post, Bi-Han and Kuai Liang have definitely jumped Tomas before
They call it play fighting, Tomas calls it attempted murder
Bi-Han is the “come here” brother and Tomas is the “you're gonna hit me” brother
Bi-Han is also the “you want a cookie?” and Tomas is the “what'd you do to it?”
Speaking of those two, the real reason Bi-Han doesn't like Tomas is because Tomas would stand in his doorway and when Bi-Han would tell him to get out, Tomas would say “I'm not in your room”
Kuai Liang would put his finger close to Bi-Han but say he's not touching him
That's the real reason he betrayed them. It's true. I asked him.
Idk which one them does it but one of these mfs puts the cereal box in front of them to ignore the brother they're mad at
Tomas is “your dad is pissing me off”, Kuai Liang is “lmao what happened?”
Bi-Han’s room is the chill out spot against his will
Kuai Liang has accidentally set someone on fire 100% and they never let him live it down (my siblings did that on purpose but scooting right along) (no one died😃)
Tomas is the victim of white jokes. He'll say smth and here comes Bi-Han “why are you?? speaking?? to me?? as a white person?? go eat salt??”
Kuai Liang is “hey can I have a bite?” and Bi-Han says “sure” then licks all over whatever he has.
“Tuesday is my day with the TV” “you're adopted. shut up”
Bi-Han has gotten the other two into several fights ‘cause he has a bad temper and his siblings ride for him
This one time my sister yelled at a teacher for yelling at me and that's Bi-Han. Like yeah, he's not the nicest as an adult but as a kid? The only mf that's allowed to yell at his brothers is HIM.
They've all gotten whooped because none of them snitch on each other. This is a ride or die brotherhood (for now) (not me tho. My mom got a heavy ass hand. You're on your own)
“Tell your brother to do those damn dishes” “you want me to say it like that? with the curse word?” “go ahead”
Whoever it is goes to their brother and- “dad said get your big nasty ass up and clean those motherfucking dishes before he whoops your skinny long neck ass”
I cannot pinpoint who exactly would do this and risk the whooping so imma just say they've all been guilty
Bi-Han and Kuai Liang are those annoying ass kids asking you to play bloody knuckles. If you don't get the fuck away from me-
Tomas played with Kuai Liang once and quit immediately
Kuai Liang is the “I only had a cup” when the juice is all gone. Yeah, you had a big ass cup you get from Super America. The Minute Maid is gone because of you
Bi-Han and Kuai Liang, “Say Fuck, I'm not gonna tell dad”. Tomas says “no” and the day he does say it now he's being blackmailed
Kuai Liang would help Bi-Han look for shit he knows he took. Y'all may think Kuai Liang would never do such a thing. He's so sweet. THAT'S HOW HE GOT AWAY WITH IT!
When they accidentally really hurt the other and hear their parents, they have different reactions. Bi-Han is the “tell them. I don't care. Actually, I'll tell them for you” brother. Kuai Liang is the “wait wait wait, calm down. Stop crying. Look, you can hit me back. You want candy?” brother. Tomas is the “that was actually an accident. My bad” brother.
Tomas actually learned all that smoke… magic… uhh… shit so he could defend himself cause he was getting ragdolled in that house
Kuai Liang is actually really nice to Tomas now cause he looks back and thinks “wow, I was kinda an asshole”
For example, Tomas was living his life and here comes these maniacs grabbing him and putting his bare feet in the snow
Idk, I just really think Tomas was fighting for his life in that house
It was all in love but now he jumps when they move a little too fast
Tomas tells his brothers he loves them a lot because he wasn't able to tell his birth family before they were killed. He wants them to always know and whenever their time does come, he wants it to be the last thing they hear from him or the last thing he says before he dies.
Kuai Liang usually says it back or says something else comforting. His way of saying “I love you” can be something as simple as a hand on the shoulder. Sometimes instead of saying “I love you”, he says “I care about you”. Personal preference
Bi-Han used to say “I love you” back but as time passed, he stopped. He's someone who gets kinda uncomfortable when it comes to vulnerable emotions. His way of saying “I love you” is “are you hurt?”. It's usually only used after a form of combat but combat can make you realize that your life is on a time limit. We saw in game and by intro dialogues that he was hurt by Kuai Liang not sticking by him. The idea that he doesn't care for his family AT ALL I think is false. I think he cares but he cares about his own goals more.
That's all I got for fluffy shit rn
I’m actually someone who enjoys angst way more than fluff but thinking about them and angst makes my heart fall into my ass … imma write some later tho

A/N: WHAT THE HECK
Tumblr media
— Can you wear a shirt in my presence? — You asked, annoyed.
— I also live here, sweetheart. So if you can walk around with short shorts and a tank top with no bra, I can walk around shirtless. — Hyunjae answered, using that nickname you were more than used to.
— Not, you don't live here, dude, your cousin was kind enough to let you live with us while you find a new place. This is temporal. — You raised your voice.
— Can you two shut the fuck up? God, I can't even start my day without you two arguing. — Chanhee got out of his room.
— When is he leaving? — You asked, fully ignoring Hyunjae's offended look.
— When he finds a new place.
— And is he even looking for one? It's been almost a month. Or is he going to give us his part of the rent?
— Can you stop talking about me as if I'm not just right here? — Hyunjae finally exploded.
— I'm not going to join your argument before having a coffee. Or at all. — Chanhee walked to his room and locked the door behind him.
— Just for your information, I am looking for a place, I'll go to see one today. Thank you for your concern. — Hyunjae grabbed his bowl of cereal and walked to the living room, his temporary room.
— You better do the dishes before or I'm changing the door lock. — You said before locking yourself in your room.
When you came back from work, neither Hyunjae or Chanhee were home yet. You found a note stuck on your door.
"I'll check another place and eat outside, don't miss me ;)"
Fucker. As if you cared.
You finally had a peaceful meal, until Hyunjae called you when you were washing the bowl and cup you used.
"What?" You answered aggressively.
"Baby, hi! Guess what? I found our perfect place!" You could hear the echo his voice made in the room he was in.
"The fuck are talking about, dude? Did you hit your head on your way there?" You joked, walking to your room.
"That's right, the one you told me. How about you come and see it, I know you're gonna love it."
That's when you get it. "They won't rent it if you're not married, aren't they? What a shame."
"Don't worry, we'll wait for you."
"What? I'm not going, dude, look for another place."
"Perfect, see you here. Love you."
You stared at your phone for a few seconds until Hyunjae sent you the address of this apartment. "I'll do whatever you want for the rest of my life, please come"
You debated yourself if you should really go or not.
The sooner he gets a place, the fastest he leaves yours. Fair enough.
You changed clothes and grabbed Hyunjae's denim jacket before leaving.
You sent him a message once you got out of the taxi you called. Not even a minute later, he was walking out the building.
— He's looking at the window, so don't push me. — Hyunjae said before holding your head and kissing you slowly.
You followed the kiss. — You'll never hear the end of this. — You kissed him again and grabbed his hand, letting him guide you to his new apartment.
— We've been married for 3 months, together for a year. We don't have children and we don't want to. — Hyunjae said while you were waiting for the elevator. — Another thing. — You looked at him tired. — You have to live with me for a while. Then I can tell him we broke up so he doesn't kick me out.
Your two got in the elevator, glad it was empty. — You should've told me that.
— I'm sorry, I panicked. — You arrived at his floor and held hands again.
Hyunjae opened the door for you. Let the show begin
— You must be [Y/N]. I'm Mr. Jeong. — A middle-aged man said once you two got in. — Hyunjae told me you chose this apartment.
— I did, yes. I really like the zone, my mom lives close by. — Hyunjae smiled. You followed his lie unconsciously.
— Hyunjae told me that. That's so sweet of him to live close to your mom.
— He's the best. — You said, but Hyunjae's eyes told you you sounded too fake.
— So how about you show your beautiful wife the place while I go for the papers to my apartment. — Mr. Jeong said. You two panicked.
— Oh, you live in the building too? — You asked, squeezing Hyunjae's hand.
— That's right, on the second floor. — Well, that wasn't that bad. Hyunjae's apartment was on the 8th floor.
Mr. Jeong left, and you two waited a minute to finally argue.
— What is so cool about this apartment that you needed me to pretend to be your wife? — You asked him, following him to a small bathroom. You watched him close the door and layed on it. — I doubt it's the price, this zone it's really expensive.
— The whole place.
— It's too big for one person. — You crossed your arms.
— Juyeon and Kevin also need a place, they still don't know I found it though.
— So what now? How long do you need me here?
— I'm still not sure, but in the meantime, I need you to let them live with Chanhee.
— No.
— Please, then you can go back.
— Ok, fine they can stay there. — Hyunjae nodded. — But what if Mr. Jeong does kick you out once we "broke up". — Hyunjae stayed silent. — That better not be part of the contract we're about to sign.
And it wasn't fortunately. Mr. Jeong left the place, staring at you two with a nostalgic smile.
— I'll pay for everything. The rent, the bills, the moving. — Hyunjae said, joining you at the window.
— Yeah, you better. — You looked at him. — Did you eat?
— Barely, but I'm not hungry.
— Well, we have to go back to my apartment for our stuff and to tell Chanhee about this. You can have your last meal there.
Telling Chanhee was harder than you thought. He immediately refused, telling Hyunjae to find another girl.
— Mr. Jeong already met me, Chan, and I also signed the contract. There's no turn back now.
— If you do something to her, I'll stop talking to you, I swear Hyunjae, I don't care if we're family.
— Chanhee. — You called him, taken aback by his reaction.
— I won't, I swear, she'll be back here in 6 months. — You wanted to protest, but the time sounded just right.
Packing was fast. You were terrified of unpacking.
You walked to the room besides the main one. But Hyunjae stopped you.
— I'm not sharing a bed with you, dude. Also, it's not like he's going to check if we sleep in the same bed.
— He's our landlord, he needs to come and check if everything's alright. — You scoffed. — I got a new bed, a bigger one, we'll be far away from the other.
— If you hug me just once, I'm moving my stuff to that room, you get it? — You pointed at the door you initially were aiming at. Hyunjae nodded.
Luckily, the room had enough space for both, you'd say it was too much for you. You didn't even use all the hangers.
— Are you going to use them? — Hyunjae asked. Of course he needed extra hangers. He didn't like to fold his hoodies.
— All yours. — Hyunake took them and walked to his side of the room. — Why did you mention the kids? Did he ask?
— Yeah, when I told him we recently got married, he asked if we were planning on having kids.
— And you don't want them? — Hyunake turned around with a confused look. — With someone else. — You laughed.
— Ah. Well, yeah I do, actually. But I'll have to wait, I can't afford them right now. — He finished hanging his hoodies and stretched his arms.
— You seriously thought I'd let you pay for everything? — You walked to him.
— I mean, I was expecting you to pay at least for a few things. I've known you long enough to know that you don't like being a burden.
— Then it's set. 50-50? — You reached out your hand to shake it with his.
But there was one thing none of you thought about. The arguments. Just by the next day, you two went back to your usual dynamic.
— I told you to not hug me! — You said, pushing him.
— God, you're not even fully awake and you're already yelling. — Hyunjae turned his body and ignored your disgusted look.
You got up and grabbed the clothes you were going to wear. It was Saturday so at least you didn't have to work. Hyunjae, on the other hand, had to.
— Don't take too long, I need to take a shower. — You looked at him before getting in the bathroom. Once you got out. You found him in just his boxers, waiting for you to come out.
— Are you fucking serious? — You asked, stopping your tracks at the door.
— Well, this is my place, I can walk around however I want. — Hyunjae took his towel and moved you. You felt shivers when he slammed the door.
You were brushing your hair when he got out of the bathroom, with just his towel around his waist. There was no point in protesting anymore.
— I need to go to the supermarket later, do you need anything? — He said, taking his sweet time in choosing a shirt.
— No, thanks. — You said before leaving the room.
You set the coffee maker and grabbed two cups from a box and then went back to the room, begging for Hyunjae to be fully dressed by now.
— Do you want coffee? — He was, kind of. His shirt was still open.
— Yes, thank you. — He noticed you froze. — You just saw me with just my boxers on, what is that reaction?
— Don't know what you're talking about. — You were about to leave, but turned around. — I'll start using the other room's bathroom from now on.
Hyunjae walked to you. — I've never seen you like this, babe. Seriously, what's wrong? Did you have a wet dream about me like this?
— You wish. And I'm not telling you how to dress in your place, but let me remind you you were the one that asked me to help you. I don't mind packing everything again. — You tried your best to keep your eyes on his.
Hyunjae stayed silent, making you smirk. You left the room and got into the microwave the leftovers you two left last night.
It was almost 7pm when Hyunjae arrived, finding you finishing putting away all the plates and cups in the cabinets.
— Did you leave something for me? — Hyunjae looked around.
— The TV's. I'm afraid I'll break them. — You said, sitting on a chair. — Did you go to the supermarket?
— I didn't have time. Juyeon and Kevin needed help with the moving.
— So you help them, but not me? — You asked, laughing at his guilty face. — I'm kidding.
— Babe... — Your eyes snapped at the nickname. He only called you like that as a joke, and his tone wasn't didn't sound like it. He cleared his throat to ease the tension he created. — I bought this, by the way. — He took out two rings. — I don't know if Mr. Jeong noticed we didn't have rings on, but just in case.
Hyunjae was about to grab your hand, but you snatched the ring of his fingers, scaring him.
— Fuck... we don't have pictures of our wedding to decorate. — You said after putting on the ring.
— Juyeon will help with it, but we do need to take more pictures together. Just having pictures of our wedding will look suspicious.
— So that means we have to go on dates?
— Just for the pictures.
— Right.
Another silence dominated the room.
— Do you want to go for dinner? — Hyunjae asked, taking off his back tie.
— Uh, sure. Let me change.
— You look good like that, though.
You bit your lip. You wanted to giggle so bad. — I'm only changing my shirt and grabbing some jacket.
— Right.
You two got into your room and went to your sides of it. Hyunjae was looking at himself in his full body mirror when he saw you taking off your shirt, leaving you in just your bra and jeans.
— Uh... — You turned around, acting innocent.
— So you can walk around with just your boxers, but I can't change my shirt in front of you? Seems unfair. — It was your turn to take your sweet time finding a shirt.
Hyunjae took a deep breath and shamelessly stared at your body through the mirror.
Once you were ready, you turned around, finding him taking a picture of you.
— Not weird at all. — You said, walking to him to see the photo in his phone.
— I mean, you're my wife. — Hyunjae grabbed your hand and showed you the ring you had on.
— Right, just don't take pictures of me sleeping.
In the elevator, you tried to avoid his eyes. Suddenly, the elevator stopped in the second floor, opening its doors to show you Mr. Jeong and you guessed it was his wife.
You got close to Hyunjae and felt his arm around your waist.
— Oh, how lovely that we found you. — Mr. Jeong said. — This is the couple I told you about.
— You both look amazing. — Ms. Jeong said.
— Thank you. — Hyunjae said in unison.
— Going somewhere special? — Mr. Jeong answered.
— Just to find something to eat. — You answered.
— Oh, if it's nothing special then join us, we're going to this cafeteria my wife loves.
You were about to answer, but Hyunjae beat you. — Sounds good, [Y/N] love visiting new cafeterias.
It wasn't a lie. You looked up to him. He gave you a kiss on the cheek and left his lips there.
Once all of you arrive to the parking lot, you walked to Hyunjae's car, Mr. Jeong's wasn't far. He told you to wait for them.
At the cafeteria, you ordered a latte and some pastry. Hyunjae just ordered an americano.
You two were waiting for Mr. and Ms. Jeong ordered at the bar.
— Why did you accept? — You asked, letting Hyunjae put his arm around you, pulling you close.
— To fully convince him we're a couple. So we don't have to kiss in front of him that often.
— Look at them. They're truly in love and you don't see them kissing every three words. — Hyunjae nodded, agreeing with you. — I didn't know I was a bad kisser.
Hyunjae looked at you scared. — You're not, god, I'm sorry if I imply that.
You laughed. — Jae, relax, I'm joking.
— You're enjoying a little too much scaring me, you know?
— I don't think so. — Hyunjae brushed his thumb on your chin before giving you a small kiss.
— Sorry for taking too long. They had this new drink I wanted to try. — Ms. Jeong apologized.
The talk was surrounded at your oh so lovely perfect wedding. And it was more a conversation between Ms. Jeong and you.
— If you don't mind, Hyunjae, would you make me some company while I smoke? — Mr. Jeong asked. Hyunjae excused himself and went with him.
The night was chill. The cafeteria had a special place for smokers.
— I'm going to be honest with you, Hyunjae. I thought you two were pretending. You wouldn't be the first couple that lied to me. — Hyunjae panicked at Mr. Jeong's words. — But just the way she's talking about the wedding, and how you look at her. It reminds me of me and my wife.
Hyunjae was speechless. — Any advice?
— I think you two are fine. There's no such a thing as the "perfect couple". But I do find it hard to believe you don't want kids.
— I mean, not now, we're still trying to settle ourselves in a new place.
— I really hope I can meet them.
Back in your apartment, Hyunjae and you changed clothes quietly.
— I'm going to the convenience store in the morning to get breakfast, is there anything you want? — Hyunjae asked, opening the blanket.
— I'm going with you. — He nodded.
The next morning, after having breakfast, you two changed clothes again and went to the supermarket, making the list on your way there.
— You already paid for the dinner and breakfast, Hyunjae, stop fighting. — You said, giving the cashier your card.
— Then the next trip to the supermarket is on me. — Hyunjae kissed your cheek, making you giggle.
On your way back, you received a message from Chanhee, asking where you were. The three of them were outside your building.
— Why are you here? — You got out of the car and walked with your friends inside the building while Hyunjae parked the car.
— We brought you welcome gifts! — Kevin said, turning his back a little for you to see his well packed backpack.
You chuckled. — That's sweet of you, Kev, but I'll be here just for 6 months.
The four of you waited for Hyunjae to join you outside the elevator. Once he did, y'all went to his apartment.
Fake plants, fake wedding pictures, food. At least the latter wasn't fake.
— How's married life going? — Juyeon asked, sipping on his can of beer.
— I thought you'd be back to the apartment by the next day, if I'm honest. — Chanhee said, not hiding the fact that he missed you.
— If you think arguments are over, don't be dumb, of course we argue. — You answered.
— Just not that often.
Everyone, including you, didn't expect Hyunjae to give that extra information.
After a month of living together, the two had figured out how to not argue over small things like the clothes all over the place, the expired food in the fridge or him constantly using your soap.
— I was thinking... — He seemed nervous. — We haven't had a movie night since we started living together. Or since we met.
— Of course we had them. — You chuckled and tried to push the shopping cart.
— Chan was there.
— And that makes them not being movie nights?
Hyunjae got close to you and caged your body between his body and the shopping cart. — I'd just like to have a movie night with my wife.
— What got into you? — But he didn't answer, his lips were over yours, slowly kissing you.
When he parted from you, you noticed Mrs. Jeong rounding the corner with her shopping cart.
— What happened with the "I don't want to kiss you every time we see them"? — You asked, faking a deep voice, hiding your disappointment that he only kissed you for that.
— I never said that. — Hyunjae walked away with the shopping cart, not letting you answer, again.
— Yes, you did. — You saw in a whisper, walking in his direction.
And by the months passing, you got used to his touchy and clingy side in front of your landlord. Behind closed doors, Hyunjae would keep his distance, and there were times you thought he wanted you to go to sleep mad at him.
He ate your breakfast even when you told him it was yours, you found your underwear at the bottom of the laundry machine after three days, of course they smelt horrible, sometimes he would ignore you or what you told him, like the time he slept with just a pair of boxers, saying it was too hot for him to wear pajamas.
You end up sleeping in the room you initially planned to, but this time he didn't protest.
By the end of the fourth month, the same dynamic you two had at Chanhee's place was back.
You were walking out the building on a Saturday morning, you were finally free of Hyunjae's annoying ass. Even though you didn't have a plan, you just wanted to be out of that apartment.
— Good morning, [Y/N]! — You heard Mrs. Jeong said in her usual energetic tone.
— Oh, good morning. — You said, waiting for her.
— Hyunjae's working? — Just the mention of his name made you have a headache.
— Yeah, he's... working.
— Is everything ok? — Of course she noticed your disgusted tone.
And you remembered, the 6 months were almost over, the plan was to pretend to break up so he could keep the apartment. Well, let the show begin.
— No, but I'm sure it'll be.
— Are you going anywhere?
— Not really, I just wanted fresh air.
— How about you and I go for a fresh juice and talk in the park? Does that sound good?
Her tone reminded you of your mother. — That sounds like a good plan.
You spent 5 minutes making up a whole story of how you and Hyunjae were falling out of love while sipping on your juice.
— What you're telling me, [Y/N], it's making me feel really bad. You two really seem to want a future together. — Mrs. Jeong said.
— And if you'd asked me 3 months ago, I'd told you I also wanted a life with him, but I guess we needed more time. My best friend even said it was too soon for a wedding. I should've listened to her.
— You can still work it out, sweetheart, you two have a really special connection. I'm sure if you sit down and talk, problems will be solved.
Hyunjae was back in the building at 8pm. He made sure his car was locked when he saw Mr. Jeong.
— How nice to see you, Jae. — Mr. Jeong said, giving Hyunaje an affectionate pat on the back.
— Likewise. How's your day going?
— Pretty calm. By the way, my wife and yours spent the morning together.
Hyunjae pressed his lips forming a fine line and nodded.
— It seems it's true by your reaction. — Hyunjae stopped walking, making Mr. Jeong to also stop. — She didn't tell me much, but she said you're having problems.
— Not all couples have problems?
— They do, yes, but they don't seem to be small problems, Jae. And I know we like to always be right, but it doesn't hurt to hear what they have to say.
Hyunjae practically ran to his apartment once he said goodbye to Mr. Jeong. He opened the door and found you watching a movie in the living room.
— May I know why you are venting our problems with our landlords?
You paused the movie. — Hello to you too, babe, are you hungry? Dinner is almost ready.
— Answer me.
You got up and didn't care that he was taller than you. — I told her that we both were falling out of love. That's all.
— And why is Mr. Jeong telling me to listen to you? — He kept his angry tone.
— How long have we been living together? — Hyunaje didn't answer. — And how long did we say we would live together?
Asshole.
— I'm just starting to make them believe we have unsolving differences and a divorce is expected. Wasn't that your plan?
— It's been only four months, [Y/N], you could've waited a little longer.
— Oh yeah, so we can tell them out of nowhere we're getting divorce the same day I'm leaving.
— Well, that could've been the plan if you weren't out there telling Mrs. Jeong our problems!
— Stop raising your voice at me, Hyunjae, or this conversation is over.
Hyunjae nodded and laughed in a sarcastic way. — You know what? You're a fucking genius! Tomorrow the first thing I'm doing is asking our landlord if he's going to kick me out if we get divorced, how about that?
— I don't know why you are reacting like this, this is your fault! You lied to Mr. Jeong, you told him I was your wife, and now I'm stuck with you for another 2 months!
— Don't pretend you didn't want this, babe, you had the option to not even show up that day. But there you were, sucking on my tongue when I kissed you.
You just couldn't believe your ears. — I wanted you out of my apartment, that's why I did it.
— You're so pretty when you get mad. — Hyunjae said after scanning your face.
He held your chin between his thumb and index, but you pushed him before he could kiss you. — Don't you fucking dare to touch me after how you just talked to me.
— Listen, I'm sorry for overreacting, but I don't enjoy it when others know about my shit. Even if this is a fake relationship, I'd like to have some privacy.
— Well, I'm sorry for telling her about that, but you've been acting like an asshole for months now, I just wanted this to be over.
This time, when Hyunjae hugged you, you didn't push him. You had your face buried in his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
— If I'm honest, I did all those things to get to you. And it worked, just not the way I expected. — Hyunjae laughed when you hit him in the stomach. — Let's have dinner and watch a movie.
Movie night was calm, you had blankets over you two. You noticed Hyunjae was falling asleep and felt bad. He worked the whole day and still wanted to watch a movie with you.
— Let's go to sleep. — You said, pausing the movie. It wasn't even halfway through.
— We'll finish it tomorrow. — You nodded and his sleepy voice.
When you were about to get in the room you were sleeping in, you felt Hyunjae's hand grabbing your wrist.
— I promise that attitude will disappear, please, come back to the room.
You just couldn't say no. — Let me grab my pajamas then.
— You can borrow a shirt of mine. —You laughed at his child-like attitude, pulling you to his room.
He gave you a shirt, too big for you, and turned around so you could change.
— Am I allowed to hug you? — You turned your head over the pillow to look at him. He was really close.
— Sure.
The next morning, you were still trapped between his arms, glad he wasn't squeezing you to death.
— Jae... — You softly said. You wanted to know the hour, but you left your phone in the living room.
— It's early, go back to sleep. — Hyunjae's mouth was on your neck, sending shivers down your spine.
— Can you read my mind? — You turned your body, Hyunjae keeping you close to him.
— I do, actually, you're thinking you just had the best wet dream of your life and I was in it.
You laughed, he was back... — You need to work on that skill, then, because that is highly inaccurate.
— Oh yeah? — You felt his finger on your left side, realizing the shirt lifted up while you were sleeping.
— Very inaccurate. — You said over his lips.
— I don't believe you. — His hand traveled to your leg and pulled in over his waist.
It was when you remembered you were only wearing panties and his shirt.
— May I know what got into you? — You asked, sighing when you felt his finger digging just below the skin of your butt.
— How am I supposed to control myself when my beautiful wife kept rubbing her ass over my cock the whole night? — His soft voice changed to a dark and deep one.
— I didn't do such a thing.
— I wasn't joking when I said you had a wet dream, though, you were moaning while doing it. It took everything on me to not fuck you while sleeping. Unless you're into that. — Hyunjae bucked his hips, finally letting you feel his boner over your clothed cunt. — That is your fault, so you better fix it.
He didn't have to tell you twice. One of your hands pulled his pajama pants and underwear down while you licked the other to jerk him.
He hissed at your warm touch, making him bite his lower lip and pulled you to kiss you.
— Fuck... I'm so sensitive, please don't stop, babe. — You were enjoying his reaction too much, tighting your grip around him from time to time to help him cum.
He wanted to warn you, but not a single word came out of his mouth. You felt his cum spilling out to your hand and couldn't help but see.
— Sorry, it felt really good. — Hyunjae removed the sweat from his forehead and ran to the bathroom, coming back with some papel to clean your hand and some drops that fell on the bed.
And you wanted to talk about it, but didn't know how. It was until dinner that he mentioned it.
— I... Sorry... Thank you for this morning...
— Are you thanking me for making you cum? — That was the first time.
— Yeah? I enjoyed it a lot.
— And why did you apologize?
Hyunjae avoided your eyes, he was clearly embarrassed. — I.. wanted to return the favor.
— And why are you suddenly shy? — You've never seen him like this.
— I guess it's just the flashbacks...
— Well, I think we have to make some rules if this is going to happen again, right?
— Rules? Why?
— Are you going to be able to live with me for another 2 months after having sex?
Hyunjae bit his lip, his idea of returning the favor wasn't having sex, but now that you mention it... — Right. So this is going to happen just once?
— That's why we need rules, Jae...
— Fine, I get it. Shoot.
You finished your drink and made a face. — This can happen multiple times as long as we both are single. Even after I leave. But the moment we start talking with someone else, this ends. — Hyunjae crossed his arms and nodded. — Let's keep this as a secret, Chanhee would kill you if he knows.
— I wasn't planning on telling him. It's clear he loves you more than he loves me. And I'm his family.
You laughed at the pout he made. And then you remembered... — I don't mind you touching me while I'm sleeping... — Hyunjae couldn't believe his ears. — But if you want to take it further, wake me up.
— Sure. — He didn't intend to sound so excited.
— I don't take the pill, so if you don't have condoms here...
— We should've talked about this in the morning so I could go to the supermarket and buy some.
You laughed again. — Are you going to return the favor then?
Hyunje smirked, standing up and taking your hand, pulling you to your shared room.
— Lay back and enjoy.
You laid down on the bed and with the help of your elbows, could see him taking off your jeans and panties.
He gave you a last look before sinking into you, groaning at your taste. You threw your head back and bit your lip to mute your moans.
But Hyunjae heard your whines increasing when he inserted two fingers while he was sucking in your clit.
You suddenly kept quiet, making Hyunaje look at you. — Did you just... cum?
— Maybe... — You answered, catching your breath. You stood up and pulled up your jeans, walking to the bathroom, leaving Hyunjae more than confused.
But you were embarrassed, you've never cummed that fast before, and you didn't want to admit you have wanted this to happen for a while now.
The next day, Hyunjae left to work before you did, making you wake up alone in your shared bed. And you didn't know if you liked it or not.
He left you breakfast ready and a note wishing you a good day. Another first time.
You found Mrs. Jeong again, giving the "good news" that Hyunjae and you solved your problems.
[To: Menace] 7:24pm
"Going to the supermarket, you want something?"
But he didn't answer. You bought some snacks, debating yourself if you should get the condoms.
You checked your phone once you were home and couldn't fight the disappointment when you noticed Hyunjae left you in read. But your head snapped when you heard a door closing.
— Hyunjae?
He walked from his room and almost ran to greet you. — I'm sorry for not answering, I was busy. But hey, I bought the condoms.
You laughed, finding him adorable.
On the weekend, Hyunjae planned a movie night, but it got interrupted by a very heated make out session. The movie working as background noise.
You were on top of him, humping his very hard boner. His hands were under your tank top, massaging your boobs over your bra.
He kissed your neck while one of his hands was looking for something inside the drawer beside the couch you two were.
You looked at him. — You shouldn't have told me this can happen multiple times. I left condoms all over the place. — He said, taking off your tank top and bra before sucking in your left tit.
— And what if the guys come and find one? — You brushed his hair with your fingers, enjoying his tongue playing with your nipple.
— I don't want to think about that right now, babe, I want you to keep moving your hips, please. — You loved the new nickname, it wasn't in a teasing way anymore.
Instead of moving your hips, you got off him and started to undress, Hyunjae doing the same and grabbing the condom.
But you took it away from his fingers and got on your knees. Hyunjae cursed under his breath and let you do your thing.
You pumped his dick before licking it up and down, and then you sucked on his balls. You proceeded to open the condom and rolled it down on his boner.
— Do I have to schedule a blowjob with my wife? — Hyunjae asked when you straddled him. He positioned his tip over your clit and rubbed it.
— I have to check if I'm not busy... — You said over his lips.
Hyunjae smirked and pulled you down, earning a very loud moan from you. Your nails digging on the skin of his shoulders. He kissed you again, giving you time to adjust. You sucked on his tongue and started to move your hips up and down. Hyunjae whined when you tightened around him, giving you a small spank.
It didn't take long before you were jumping on him, not kissing anymore. None of you were shy with your noises, not caring about the neighbors.
Hyunjae got one of your boobs and sucked it, pinching the nipple of the other. You knew your nails were leaving red marks on his neck and chest, but you didn't care.
— Why did it take us so long to do this? — You asked, throwing your head back when you felt your orgasm close.
— If you weren't such a tight ass, this would've been the hundredth time. — Hyunjae answered, making you laugh.
— If you weren't so fucking annoying... — You grabbed his neck for support and got close to his face. — we wouldn't have to pretend in the first place.
Hyunjae kissed you, pulled your hair, bit you, spanked you. He knew you were right.
Before him living in your and Chan's living room, your friendship wasn't as chaotic, you even admitted to some friends you found him attractive. Hyunjae also developed a crush on you, but living somehow together gave you the sign that you two wouldn't work out.
You felt him give you another spank, biting your lip and bouncing harder. Your legs were sore, but you needed your release more than anything. You grabbed Hyunjae's hand and directed it to your clit, him immediately understanding.
— You look so hot on top of me, babe. — Hyunjae said, hypnotized by the view. — I can get used to this.
"Me too" you thought, but you were so immersed in your pleasure, you only could kiss him, sucking on his tongue and scratching his nape.
Hyunjae hugged you by your waist and made you stop, growling. You felt his cock twitching repeatedly inside you.
After a few minutes, Hyunjae's fingers brushed your hair. You lifted your head and looked at him. He looked different. Or maybe it was your orgasm making you have these thoughts.
Hyunjae pulled you for a kiss, a sloppy and romantic one.
— Let's get cleaned up. — He said on your lips, but he kept kissing you.
— You have to let me go for that, babe.
It was the first time you called him that, and he showed you he loved it.
— I can always carry you to the shower. We can have round two there. — His low voice made you clench around him.
But you stood up, sighing by the sudden emptiness. — I think I have a free space to give my husband a blowjob just now. — You said, walking to your shared bedroom.
Once you two were in the bathroom, Hyunjae literally dragged you to the shower. Earning some giggles from you.
A week later, Chanhee, Juyeon and Kevin visited you again.
The whole time, Chan was awfully quiet and kept looking at the both of you, making you nervous. After an hour, Juyeon and Kevin went to the convenience store for snacks, but you noticed Chanhee told them something before they left.
Hyunjae was looking for bowls to serve some chips and you were cutting carrots, maybe using this as an excuse to not look at Chanhee.
— Since when?
Here we go.
— What? — Hyunjae stopped his tracks and looked at Chanhee.
— Since when you've been fucking?
The sudden question made you cut your finger with the knife. You threw the knife and licked your little cut.
— Are you ok? — Hyunjae practically ran to you.
— Oh, so it's serious.
— No!
— It's just sex.
Both answering at the same time made Chanhee laugh. — Right. And I guess you weren't planning on telling me.
— For what? — You asked, looking for some bandaid.
— I don't know, I'm your best friend. — And then he looked at Hyunjae. — And I'm your cousin, your family.
— Well, I'm sorry for not telling you, but it's been just a week. — Hyunjae said, helping you finish the carrots.
— Wait, what? A week? — You raised an eyebrow at his words. — You two act as if you've been dating since you started living together.
— Don't be ridiculous. — You said, not being able to look at Hyunjae.
Chanhee couldn't say anything, Juyeon and Kevin arrived and started talking about some new snacks they bought.
After they finally left, you took a bath in what were you planning to be your bathroom 5 months ago. The water was warm and you were glad you still had a lavender bath bomb.
You told Hyunjae you need to think about what Chanhee said and it was if you slept separately. And even though Hyunjae wanted to argue back, he also needed to think.
The next morning, when you got out of your room, Hyunjae was already waiting for you with an empty cup.
— Coffee or tea?
— I think I'm just having cereal. — Hyunjae nodded and put away the cup.
— We need to talk. — He said. Your back was facing him, you only hummed in response. — The fifth month it's almost over.
— I know.
— What does your lack of packing mean?
You were only looking at your empty bowl. — Do you want me to start packing?
You turned your body and looked at him, he was already behind you. — I just want to know so I can talk with Mr. Jeong.
— Are you going to tell him?
— What? That I lied about you being my beautiful wife? — He brushed his nose with yours. — I'll just make a deal with him. We would exchange places with the guys.
— And if he says no? — Your fingers clench on his pajama shirt.
— He already trusts us, I don't think he'd have a problem.
— But I like this place. — You slightly pout.
Hyunjae chuckled and gave you a peck. — Yeah, but we both know what three people living in a place that only two people fit is like.
You nodded, hugging Hyunjae by his waist.
— Tell you what. We keep the place, but while they find a bigger place, they can bring some of their stuff. Let me remind you we have a whole empty room.
— And what about us?
And if you were honest, you thought he would tense with the question, but he just hugged you tighter.
— Do you want to make it official?
You looked up, finding his eyes on you. — Official? You haven't asked me shit.
You tried to pull away, failing miserably.
— If you weren't such a tight ass and would let me speak. — You stayed silent. Not hiding your excitement. — Would you let me be your boyfriend?
— Ugh, you're so cheesy. — You said, pulling him by his collar. — But yes.
Hyunjae laughed and kissed you. But the romantic moment got interrupted by your stomach.
— Someone's hungry.
— If you'd have let me have my breakfast first.
While you were cooking, Hyunjae decided the best way to still ask Mr. Jeong.
Mrs. Jeong was the one that opened the door.
— Oh, Hyunjae, how nice of you to visit us.
— I'm sorry if this comes as rude, but is your husband here? I need to talk to him.
— Oh no, don't tell me [Y/N] and you have broken up? — The lady placed her hand over her mouth.
— No, it's not that, don't worry.
— Is everything ok? — Mr. Jeong appeared drying his hands with a towel. — Hyunjae, what can I do for you?
After Mrs. Jeong poured three glasses of water, the three of you sat down in the living room.
— I really don't know how to explain this so I'll just say it. I'm thinking about giving my apartment to some friends and finding a smaller place for [Y/N] and I.
Mr. Jeong nodded. — Are these friends trustworthy?
— They are. One of them is my cousin and my wife's best friend, actually. The thing is that the place they have is really small for three people.
— So you want to exchange places with them?
— Not really, that building isn't of [Y/N]'s liking.
— Well, that's nice to hear because there are also smaller apartments in this building. — Mrs. Jeong added, making her husband nod.
Hyunjae felt stupid. — I... I didn't know.
— I don't have a problem with your friends living in the building, but even if you say they're good, the rules will apply to them too. Even stricter ones if it's going to be all men.
— Right. — Hyunjae chuckled. — Then I'll talk to...
— She doesn't know? — Mr. Jeong interrupted.
— I just mentioned it this morning, she was worried you didn't want three men living under the same roof.
— I never had issues with groups of friends living together, I'm just stricter with them 'cause, well, I was also young.
Cold sweat ran through Hyunjae's back. — I thought you prefered couples living here?
— I said I'm used to them, this zone is famously known by families. You are the first couple I admit without children, though.
— Right...
Hyunjae went back to his apartment, feeling like the stupidest man on earth.
— Where were you? Food is ready. — You got out of the kitchen.
— Come here. — Hyunjae practically threw himself to the couch and waited for you to sit down beside him, but you sat down on the small table in front.
— Babe, you're pale...
— I talked with Mr. Jeong about the apartment. — And you were about to interrupt him, but he grabbed your hands. — Baby, I need you to listen to me and I'll understand if you don't want to talk to me ever again.
— You're scaring me. — He never called you "baby".
Hyunjae took a deep breath. — He told me he doesn't have a problem with our friends living here, in fact, he never had a problem with groups of friends in general. He just sets different rules
— And how did we end up in this situation? — Hyunjae felt you tense, he just cared your skin with his finger.
— Because him telling me only families lived here made me believe only families were allowed to live here.
You started to laugh, not in a sarcastic way, you were genuinely laughing at his dumbness.
— And what made you think I wouldn't talk to you anymore? — You said after finally being able to speak.
— I don't know. I guess I panicked.
You kissed him and straddled his legs. — And what will happens with us? — You said over his lips.
He gave you a chaste kiss before talking. — Mrs. Jeong mentioned there are smaller apartments, maybe we can check them out.
— But I like this apartment. — You said kissing his neck. His grip went from over your clothes to under it.
— Unless you want to have kids... this place is too big for us.
— That doesn't sound like a bad idea.
Hyunjae almost lost control over his own body at your words. — Not yet...
And this could have continued further, but both of your stomachs interrupted, making both of you laugh.
— Not yet. — You said over his lips and stood up, grabbing Hyunjae's hand and taking him to the kitchen.

"Is mom okay?" The soft voice of Sarah rang through Joel's ear as he was preparing his usual morning cup of coffee.
While the two Millers were already downstairs, the little girl munching on some cereal and the oldest of the family standing in the kitchen with his favourite mug in his hand, you had run back up upstairs, having forgotten to put on deodorant for the long day of work ahead of you.
With scrunched eyebrows, Joel turned to his daughter, "What do you mean? Because of her cough?"
The evening before, you seemed to be doing perfectly fine, but almost as soon as that clock hit midnight, you couldn't lay still next to your partner anymore. All throughout last night, up until that morning, you had been coughing your lungs out, along with a runny nose that didn't seem to be getting any better.
Sarah nodded, "It doesn't sound good." The cereal still filling her mouth.
"Don't speak with food in your mouth," her father warned her, using that typical dad voice the girl has had to listen to all her life.
She swallowed. "I said it doesn't sound good."
"I heard what you said," Joel brought his cup of coffee to the dining table, taking a seat right next to the youngest Miller, along with a hot cup of tea he had prepared for you. "I asked her, and she said it's all fine."
His statement earned him an unamused facial expression. "And we both know that's not true."
He nodded with a sigh, "I know, but what do you want me to do? You know how stubborn she is."
"She's not!" She argued back. Joel closed his eyes for a second. Right. Don't tell the girl, who definitely got the stubbornness from his wife, that his wife is stubborn. How could he forget...
"Alright, but still. She won't listen to me. I already told her to stay at home."
Sarah scoffed, "And that's it? When I'm sick, you two don't even let me fight back. You basically lock me into my room."
"We don't lo-"
"Mum?" He was interrupted by you coming back down, catching the girl's attention.
You hummed in response, followed by a cough as you tucked the blouse tighter into your pants.
"Why don't you just stay at home today?" She wondered, to which you sent her a look of confusion, directing it towards Joel for a split second.
"Why? What's wrong?"
Sarah got up, the bowl in her hand when she passed you, only stopping to point a strict finger at you. "You're sick. That's what's wrong." Before continuing her walk to the dishwasher. "You should stay home."
You chuckled as you sat down next to your husband, whose hand found its way right to your back, brushing over it gently, motioning towards the cup of tea waiting for you. "It's just a little cold. If even," you blew on the hot water, hoping to lower the temperature. "Might also just be the result of someone at work thinking it's necessary to blast winter temperatures through the A/C."
Joel's fingers started running through your hair, detangling the small strands your brush had missed.
"Still," Sarah didn't stop arguing. "Sick is sick, and you should stay home." But you just shook your head with a smile. Another cough followed that you were able to hide into the inside of your elbow.
"See." The girl passed you with a knowing glance as she walked up the stairs into her room to get her backpack.
"You sure, you'll be fine?" Your husband's eyes were still on your side profile, sending you a warm smile once you turned to face him.
You placed your free hand on his thigh and gave it an assuring soft squeeze. "Yep," you nodded, "I'll be fine, don't worry." Just as you leaned in to give him a quick kiss, he dodged out of the way. You gasped, gazing at him with your mouth hung open.
"You heard her," nodding towards the stairs where your daughter was just coming back. "Sick is sick. And I'm not risking that."
"Wow...," you gasped, "Unbelievable. Not even a kiss?" Joel shook his head. A devilish thought crossed your mind, getting the corners of your lips to curl up. "What do you think about a stepdad, Sarah?" Making the girl immediately look at you in confusion. "Someone that would kiss me, even if I actually was sick." The man next to you rolled his eyes. The hunk of a horn coming from the garage let you know that the younger Miller brother had arrived. "Someone younger, hotter, more-" The gentle tug of your hair cut you off, making you grin as soon as you felt the familiar hot breath next to your ear. Thank God, Sarah had gone into the hallway to get her jean jacket.
"Careful, darlin'," his low vibrations tickled the side of your neck before you could feel his lips on your skin.
"Well," you shrugged, "I'm sure there's someone out there that would still kiss me even with a stuffy nose."
He had started petting your hair again. "Keep searching darlin', and the moment you find that someone will be the day I have my first kill."
"Joel!" You shot up straighter in your seat, turning your entire body towards him with a shock written all over your face - yet, a smile was still on your lips. The oldest Miller was in no way a violent person, that much you knew. But, when it came to family, you also knew that there was nothing he wouldn't do. Not a single thing.
He shrugged a proud grin plastered on his face when your hand came up to push his cheek, mimicking a gentle slap followed by a chuckle.
Sarah passed you two again when a second hunk echoed through the room. "I'm going," she rushed to stand between you two, engulfing you in a big bug, "Love you!" Getting the same words of affirmation in return. She made her way to the door before stopping, "Oh, and mum!"
Making you look up while Joel's gaze was still fixed on you, wondering how even with a stuffy nose and a cough that could scare away every kid, he was still as attracted to you as when he first saw you in that tight party dress you had worn.
"Let me know how that search for a stepdad is going!" Giggling at the reaction of her father.
"Excuse me?!"
While you laughed out loud, your hand falling back onto his thigh. Your laugh didn't last long, interrupted by another wave of coughing, that you tried to calm down with a sip of your tea.
Joel stood up and tapped your head, "That's what you get for saying shit like that."
-
The lunch break was almost over, and each employee was putting their helmets back on, throwing their one-way coffee cups into the bins, ready to get back to work. The contractor was still sitting on one of the benches, looking over their final plan for the building behind him, the hot temperature of his beverage long gone, now ice cold. Tommy hadn't joined him as usual, but it wasn't all that new to Joel. Sometimes his brother tended to disappear during his break, coming back only barely on time and usually with his belt missing - no questions needed, everyone knew where he had been.
Just as the oldest Miller brother lifted his head, he squinted his eyes, for one due to the sun, but also to make out the silhouette of the younger brother as he run up to him. Unamused, Joel took a quick glance at his watch,
"Three... two... one... and you're late." He glanced back up at the now panting man, who was holding onto the wooden table.
"Late?!" Tommy exclaimed, "I literally just got back in time."
Joel shook his head, "You haven't clocked in yet," packing his stuff back up as he got up from his seat.
"Jeez, come on, man! Can you cut me some slack?"
He stopped in his tracks to turn back around, shoving the A3 piece of paper into the younger Miller's chest, "I've cut you some freaking slack often enough, Tommy. This shit's gotta stop."
"I just-"
"No," Joel shook his head, "No excuses. I've told you this before. We've got a tight schedule. There's no time for your stupid little acquaintances."
Tommy sighed, still giving no signs of moving while his brother was already a few feet away.
"Have you checked in on your wife?" He shouted out loud, making the older man stop again, glaring at him in confusion.
"What? Why?" It was unusual for either of you to contact the other one during your workday. You much rather enjoy the evening together, ranting about your coworkers and employees in the comfort of each other's arms rather than over the terrible connection through your phones.
With a proud grin, Tommy walked up to him, his hands secured in his pockets. "Well, that's where my acquaintances actually come in handy."
"What the fuck you talkin' about?" Joel was on the verge of his patience with his younger brother, more specifically with that massive ego of his.
"You know that blonde one from Y/N's office?" The younger brother questioned with a smirk, ignoring the glare of the other man. "Tall, blonde, green eyes, usually in those tiny skirts, and Jeez... those big lips that just look magnificent around my-"
"Tommy," he stopped him with a raise of his hands, "Get to the point. For God's sake...," mumbling the last part as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Right, right, sorry," the younger one snapped back into it, "When I went to see her, she told me that Y/N was sent back home because she almost blacked out at the-"
"What?!" Joel raised his voice as soon as the words rang through his ears.
Tommy crossed his arms with a deep breath, "Yeah, apparently she wasn't feeling well, but stubborn as fuck and wouldn't go home until her boss came."
"Jesus fuck..." without wasting another second, the oldest Miller snatched his phone out of the back pocket of his jeans. "And you couldn't have gotten to the fucking point sooner." His fingers moved quickly, ignoring whatever Tommy was talking about in the background, as he clicked around hastily to call your number.
His grip on the rolled-up paper tightened while a sigh fell from his lips, dropping the phone again, "Of course, she won't pick up..."
Within a second, he pushed the floorplan into his brother's grip and took his helmet off the decorate Tommy's head with it instead, "Congrats," he patted his shoulder, "You just got promoted for the day."
"Wh-"
"I'll be back in a bit. I'm gonna go check on her," he was already brushing past the younger Miller, jogging towards his car, "You keep everyone else in check in the meantime!"
"I got ya!" Tommy shouted back at him, "Make sure she's okay!" Before Joel disappeared in the parking lot after sending him a last thumbs up.
The entire car ride was filled with heavy breaths leaving the older man's lips, curse word after curse word echoing through the small space - Sarah's curse jar would've gotten filled to the brim if she had been there to hear him.
He knew it wasn't a good idea to let you go to work today. No matter how stubborn could get, he deeply regretted not starting a possible discussion to keep you home. Now he had to rush back home in hopes of finding you there still on your feet, while his heart was daring to break through his ribs and chest. Never before had the drive to your shared house felt so damn long, even though he was sure to have broken multiple laws.
You insisting on not getting a car was making his anger bubble up just a tad more. You had told him that Tommy and he each having one was enough, and that you were more than happy using the public transport. Joel had given into that way too quickly. Your sweet voice tended to have that effect on him. But now, knowing that you had to take the bus after almost blacking out-
He didn't even want to think about that. Please let that blonde co-worker of yours have lied to Tommy. Or maybe she just heard a rumour going around the office - that shit travelled quicker than lightspeed according to your tellings.
Before his thinking could make his brain explode, he pulled into the driveway, leaving the car outside of the garage and sprinted to the door. He, once again, found it unlocked, making him almost shake his head - how was their daughter ever supposed to learn to lock the door when even you, her biggest role model at the time wasn't doing it. But that was a conversation for another time.
Once he busted through the front door, his eyes scanned the living room hastily. You not appearing right then and there just sent another wave of anxiety through his body. Joel continued to look for you in the kitchen. Still not here. With a heavy sigh, he shook his head. That's when he heard a thud coming from upstairs. He didn't waste another moment and raced up the set of stairs.
"Darlin'?" He called out for you. Before he could reach the top, your head popped out from the doorway leading to your shared room. A breath of relief washed over him.
You glanced at him in confusion, "What the hell are you doing here?" Joel ignored your question, coming up to stop in front of you, gently getting a hold of your jaw to get a good look at your face.
"Joel-" you swatted his hand away, "Wh-"
"Why didn't you call me?"
"What?"
Another sigh tumbled from his lips as he walked back downstairs after making sure you didn't hurt yourself on the way home. He still noticed your red nose and the slight scratch in your voice, so he was already planning on making you a second cup of tea.
"Why didn't you call me?" Joel repeated the question while moving through the kitchen to get everything he needed.
You followed him into the dining space, tightening the sweatpants you had put on after taking a shower as soon as you had arrived home. "Why call you? And what are you doing here?" Followed by a cough.
"Call me?!" He turned his entire body to look at you, "Maybe because you blacked out at work?!" He didn't dare to raise his voice much, just making sure the tone was enough to let you know how serious he was about this subject.
"W-...," you shifted on your feet, crossing your arms over your chest. "How do you know about that?"
The oldest Miller took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves, "Your co-worker called Tommy. Sweeth-"
"How does my co-worker know Tommy?"
"It doesn't matt-"
"Yes, it does!" You argued back, now standing in the kitchen with him, your back resting against the counter.
One look from your husband was enough to tell you everything you needed to know.
You sent him an unamused facial expression. "No, he doesn't."
"Yes, he does," he nodded gently, pouring the hot water into the mug he had prepared for you.
"Joel-"
"It's not import-"
"It is to me!"
"What do you want me to do about it?" He wondered, placing the cup of tea right next to you.
You shrugged, "I don't know... Castrate him."
A chuckle fell from his lips followed by a sigh, looking up at the ceiling with his eyes closed before his gaze stopped on you again. He couldn't stay mad at you for long when you looked at him with those kind eyes and that little smile you were trying to hide.
"Why didn't you call me?" He brushed your wet hair away from your face, securing it behind your ear, his voice now back to the gentle tone you're used to.
"There was no reason to."
"You almost blacked-"
"I didn't," you interrupted him, "I got dizzy. I didn't black out. And before anything could happen, my boss sent me home. Nothing bad happened."
"But it could've," he reasoned.
"But it didn't." Your statement wasn't enough to convince him.
"Are we gonna fight about that now?"
You smirked, "Not if you just drop it and believe me. Instead of that desperate housewife of a co-worker, I have."
Joel closed his eyes for a quick second before nodding towards the mug on the counter beside you. "Drink your tea."
With a smile still plastered on your face, you opened your arms and took a step forward to wrap your arms around his torso. Not even a second passed before your husband engulfed you in a hug, his rough hand holding the back of your head close to his shoulder.
"I'm sorry for scaring you," lifting your head to catch his eyes, "I didn't mean to."
He glanced down at you, cupping your face in his palms, his thumbs tracing invisible lines of your cheeks. "I told you to stay home today."
"You did," you admitted.
"And Sarah said so too."
"Yep, she also did that."
"So you're gonna listen to us from now on?"
You put your thinking face on, pressing your lips into a thin line. "I'll think about it."
Joel shook his head, leaning down to press a kiss onto your forehead, mumbling against it, "You're gonna be the death of me, darlin'. Don't scare me like that again."
You chuckled, tightening your arms around him, "I'm sorry. I won't." Placing a loving peck on his chest once he let his arms wrap around you again. "I love you."
"I love you too," he declared like he always did, giving the top of your head another kiss.
A few seconds passed before you felt a soft pat on your butt and Joel freeing himself from your embrace, reaching behind you to place the mug into your hands.
"What do you need from the pharmacy?"
You lifted your shoulders, moving to sit at the dining table, "I don't know. Nothing, I think. It's just a cold, it'll go away."
"Darlin'," Joel's eyes didn't leave your form, "My throat hurts listenin' to you talk."
"Wow," you lifted your head to glare at him with an open mouth, "You really know how to compliment a woman, don't ya?"
He smirked, "I thought that's why you married me."
"Among other things, sure," you copied his facial expression as he got closer to you again to place the back of his hand on your forehead.
"Did you check your temperature?"
You shook your head, "Not yet, I took a shower right when I got here."
"Alright," he grunted, getting his phone out of his back pocket to check for any missed messages, "I'll go see what the pharmacy has and get a few things from the store for soup."
"Joel, I'll be fine just resting-"
"Do you want me to drag you to the doctor's office?" That question made you shut your mouth tightly. He knew how much you hated doctors and hospitals - that bastard used your weaknesses against you. He earned himself a glare from you.
"I'll take anything the pharmacy gives you."
The corners of his lips curled into a proud grin as he lowered his head to peck the top of your hair once again. "That's my girl." In the next moment, he was out the door, and you heard the roar of his engine.
-
Joel didn't cook rarely. Every now and then, you'd get the gift of his cooking - well... the gift of watching him cook since the food itself usually turned out... alright. Eyeing him in such a domestic scene was much more of what you'd be thankful for. But now, you didn't even get to enjoy the sight of him in the kitchen, thanks to him forcing you to stay on the couch, the TV being your only form of entertainment.
"Joel!" You cried out loud, "Please let me help!" Almost begging him since you knew, you'd eventually have to eat whatever he was putting together in the other room.
"Don't you even dare get up from there!" He shouted back before the clanking of pots and pans hurt your head, only motivating the headache that had started an hour ago.
"But-"
"No discussion!" You rolled your eyes. Normally, Sarah was in your position, and you or Joel would be in the kitchen, telling her the exact same thing. With you now right there, you were starting to understand the frustration of the little girl.
"I'm ill! I'm not dying!"
You heard his heavy footsteps before your eyes fell on his body stopping in the doorway, a kitchen towel in his grip. "Don't say stuff like that. And drink that," he motioned towards the medicine he had mixed up for you before disappearing again. You didn't even want to look at that glass. The colour that fluid had, looked toxic and like it shouldn't be consumed by a human. It smelled just like that as well.
"But it stinks!"
"You know, you're starting to sound like Sarah?" Making you roll your eyes. You were a big girl. You could do this.
With disgust written all over your face, you reached for the glass and without much more debating, knowing you'd back out of it, you chucked the whole thing in one big gulp. Noises of repulsion immediately left your lips that you clearly faked yet couldn't hold back.
Joel entered the room, a bowl in one hand, and a mug in the other.
"You're being dramatic," he commented on your actions, setting everything down on the coffee table in front of you.
"Maybe," you groaned, "But this shit is revolting."
"It'll help you get better."
"I sure hope so," you scoffed, leaning forward to get a hold of the mug.
He took a seat next to you, the pills he had bought for you now in his hand, out of their packages. He handed them to you, to which you grimaced. You hated swallowing pills.
"Take them," he rolled his eyes.
"You know, my mom doesn't believe in pills." She was a very spiritual person.
Joel took a deep breath, "I know. I talked to her about it."
"Oooh, yeah!" You laughed out loud, slapping his upper arm as the memory of their discussion at your wedding came back to you. Sarah was recovering from a cold she had, and while your mother was talking Joel's ear off about herbs and oils that would help, he stood his ground on his opinion about trusting whatever medicine she had been described - your mother did not agree with that.
He shoved his hand closer to you. "Just because your mother doesn't like them, doesn't mean you don't, right?"
You shrugged to answer him.
"You want me to grind them for you? Put them under some food?"
"No, no," you snatched the pills out of the palm of his outstretched hand - your other hand got a hold of the mug. One pill after the other, you threw it down your throat, a shiver going down your spine after each. Joel watched you grimace in amusement, his hand running down the back of your head with a smile.
"Good girl," he kissed your cheek, which earned him a death glare from you. His eyes widened, "What?"
"You know what that does to me, and you won't even kiss me!" You whined, throwing yourself back against the backrest of the sofa, a cough following.
A laugh erupted from your husband as his hand landed on your thigh, rubbing and squeezing it gently. You tried pushing it away, but that only entertained him more.
"Take your medicine and I'll kiss you all that much more once you get better," he grinned, placing multiple pecks on the side of your head and pulling you into his chest.
"Is that a promise?" You teased, feeling him shake from chuckling.
"That's a vow."
-
"Darlin'."
You felt a soft shake against your shoulder and fingertips tracing your face.
"Darlin'."
A groan came from you in response as you opened your eyes, making realise you must have fallen asleep earlier. Your eyes danced around the room - you were still on the couch in the living room. They landed on the body hovering above you. Joel smiled as your gazes met.
"I gotta go back to check on Tommy and the guys, but Sarah's here now. She'll take care of you until I come back."
You shook your head and scrunched your eyebrows, "No, what about school?"
"She just got back."
"And homework? Friends?" You rubbed the sleep out of your eyes, "I'm sure looking after an adult is the last thing she'd want to do-"
"No, don't worry-"
"I want to look after you, mum!" Sarah interrupted her father, skipping into the living room, with another mug in her hands. You were starting to get tired of seeing them.
You smiled at your daughter, "That's very nice of you, Sweetie. But it's so pretty outside, don't you want to go do something?"
"Not if I know you're here sick," she quickly answered before exiting the living room again.
Joel watched her leave, a proud look on his face as he turned his attention back to you.
"She's too kind for her own good," you commented.
"I wonder who she got that from," he smiled, caressing your cheek with his fingers, making you roll your eyes. Joel crouched down to be on eye-level with you, lowering his voice as well, his fingers not leaving your skin. "You wanna go upstairs? I think the bed might be a bit more comfortable."
You nodded while he straightened his back, standing back up on his two feet.
He nudged his head, "Come one." Reaching out his hand for you to take, but you had a different idea. You shook your head with a pout and opened your arms. Joel chuckled with a shake of his head. He could've expected that. Your husband didn't need to be told twice before leaning down, pulling the blanket off you and moving one arm underneath your knees with his other wrapping around your back to cup you up.
He couldn't help but let a quiet groan fall from his lips as he moved back up. With a chuckle, you slapped his chest,
"Come on, old man." A grin spread on his face, followed by pretending to let you fall, making you screech and wrap your hands tight behind his neck, "Joel!"
"Call me old again, and I'll drop you for real, sweetheart."
He felt your loving eyes on him as he carefully took step after step, carrying you safely upstairs.
"You wouldn't do that." Poking his chest to tease him.
You're right. He wouldn't. He couldn't. He would never drop you. You were safe with him. For now and forever.
-
Only moments after Joel left you alone in the bedroom, another pair of feet echoed through the upstairs hallway. Sarah appeared in the doorway, a beautiful smile decorating her face while holding tightly onto a bowl.
"Dad said you fell asleep before you could eat, so I heated it up again." She got closer to the bed, placing the dish on the nightstand to your right.
"You didn't have to do that," you pushed yourself to sit up on the bed, "But thank you."
"Wait for me," she quickly told you before rushing out of the room, leaving you for about a minute before coming back, another bowl and a book in her grip.
"You're eating your dad's cooking?" You jokingly wondered as she made herself comfortable on the other side of the bed.
"I'm very brave, I know." Her answer made both of you chuckle in chorus. Jokes about Joel's cooking would never get old.
With the two of you holding onto your bowls, you went in first to get a taste of what you had expected to be the most tasteless watery substance you could imagine. You were surprised by multiple layers of flavours. Sarah hummed in agreement.
"Oh wow," you commented.
The little girl nodded, "Not bad, dad. Not bad."
"Not bad indeed. I was ready for something else."
"I was ready to run to the bathroom and spit it out," Sarah stated, making you laugh.
You fell into a comfortable conversation, asking her about her day and what she was up to later in the day, only to get "obviously, looking after you. Just because dad can cook all of a sudden, doesn't mean he won't need my help," in response.
The girl had her way with words.
After you finished cleaning out the bowls, Sarah brought them back downstairs, only to join you in the bed again minutes later. Before she made herself comfortable again, she made sure you'd have tissues, a glass of water, and some pills Joel told her to keep close, right on the nightstand.
"Are you comfortable? Do you need another pillow or-"
"I'm perfectly fine, Sarah," you patted her hand as she laid down next to you.
"Alright, but tell me if you need anything."
You nodded with a chuckle, "I will."
After closing your eyes, you could feel her moving and rustling as she reached out to get something.
"I have to read this book for school. Can I read it out loud to you?" She wondered, placing it in her lap, glancing to the side to see your eyes looking up at her.
"Of course, sweetie." You pulled the covers tighter around your body, ready to listen to her soft voice. "What book are you reading?"
"Sweet Valley High," she told you with a deep sigh, opening the book on the page she had left it.
"You don't sound fond of it," her clear annoyance made you want to smile. You knew exactly why she probably didn't enjoy the piece of literature her teacher had assigned them to read.
"Because I'm not," she stated with a scoff. "This is ridiculous. It's a terrible book with a terrible plot."
"It can't be that bad if it's school literature, sweetie." You tried to explain, hoping to give her a sense of understanding, even though you could imagine how annoyed she must feel.
"But it is!" She whined, "Our teacher probably only gave us to read that because more than half of the class are girls. Ridiculous..."
Before she could even read the first word on the page, she closed the book again. "Can I please read one of yours?" That question wasn't unfamiliar to you. It happened more than you'd like to admit - a 14-year-old asking for books of yours because she found the literature for her age 'boring and all the same' and had even called some authors 'possible illiterates, as well as the teachers for assigning such books'. In reality, she was just unchallenged, and you were more than happy to help with that. But you still had to remember your role as an adult and, more importantly, her mother.
"But you have to read this book, Sarah."
"And I'll get to that once I have the patience," she got up from the bed. "I promise. But right now... I need to read something better than some girl's high school drama." And disappeared, not waiting for an answer from you.
Once she was back, you were already half asleep, but still noticed it when she found her way back next to you, humming in happiness as she made herself comfortable.
Before sleep took over you completely, you heard the first words fall from her lips, "Christmas won't be Christmas without any presents-"
You smiled to yourself. She chose Little Women, one of your favourites.
-
The moving covers and rustling made you open your eyes again. You were still laying on your right side, in the same position you had fallen asleep in. The only difference now was, Sarah wasn't next to you anymore. Instead, she got replaced by her father, who was not so subtly, trying to get into bed without waking you.
Joel found your eyes trained on him, making him immediately stop, the bed sheets in his hand up in the air, "Sorry, darlin', I didn't want to wake ya."
"It's okay," you mumbled, moving closer to him as soon as he got under the covers, "You were never smooth or quiet at moving around anyways, Miller." Your legs interlocked with his, making sure you were as close to him as you could be. You had spent enough time apart, now was your time to enjoy having him right there next to you.
He chuckled at your confession, "I'm sorry." Once you were cuddled up to his side, he lifted his arm to wrap around you and place your head on his chest, but that was interrupted with a groan as he pulled something up from underneath him.
"Was Sarah readin' this?"
You opened your eyes and nodded, the soft smile back on your lips.
"Why on earth is she readin' a book from the last century?" He always remembered the little details you told him about the books and authors you loved.
"The more important question is why aren't you reading books from the last century," you poked his chest. Joel placed it on the nightstand and grabbed your hand into his bigger one, warming it up with the natural heat of his palm.
"You're right, I shouldn't have asked," he quickly commented before changing the subject. "How are you feelin'?"
"Better... I think," a yawn escaped from your throat, followed by a soft cough, "I slept pretty much the entire afternoon."
"That's good," his hand found your back, rubbing it in a comforting way. "You're supposed to sleep a lot."
You nodded. "How was work? Did the guys behave?"
"Yeah," he grinned, "Mostly. Tommy says sorry for sleeping with your co-worker, but also, and I quote, 'The ladies want, what the ladies want. And who am I to deny them of that'."
A moan in disgust erupted from you, "Oh god... He's disgusting." You both chuckled.
A few seconds of silence were shared with Joel's hand running up and down your body before he spoke again.
"You ate the soup?"
"Yeah, Sarah heated it up for me. And she also had a bowl." You lifted your head to look at him, "And we must admit, you did surprisingly well."
"What do you mean surprisingly?" He sounded genuinely curious about your answer as he glared down at you. "What were you expecting?"
"I don't know... but you know..."
"What do I know?"
"You're not the best cook, Joel," you admitted with a gentle smile, "So we were prepared for the worst."
"The worst?" He scoffed, "You two are unbelievable," and turned his head away from you, making you giggle.
"Joel," you whined, but the grin didn't leave your face, "Come on," you sat up straighter to cup his cheeks and turn his head to face you. But that man had his eyes closed. "Look at me." He shook his head. "Look at me, Joel."
"I'm not looking at you until you apologize."
"Are you serious?" You tried to contain your laughter as well as you possibly could, remembering that a girl was sleeping across the small hallway from you. "You know your talent isn't in cooking, handsome." Your fingers brushed through his hair as you caught him finally looking at you again.
"I actually didn't know that I was such a bad man in the kitchen, but thank you for the critique, I guess," he tried to keep the annoyed facial expression, but it was cut off by your synced laughter echoing through the room. He damn well knew about it. Sarah never let him hear the end of it. He will forever be 'an okay cook and a terrible baker'.
The sounds coming from you died down the moment your gazes met again, your fingers tracing his jaw.
"Would a kiss be apology enough?"
His face scrunched up, "With all of that bacteria still in your body?" You tried. With a roll of your eyes, you pushed yourself away from him, ready to turn around and go back to sleep, but his grip on your wrists stopped you. Joel pulled you in again, his lips hovering less than an inch above yours.
"I couldn't ask for a better apology," he whispered, making you grin. You won. There was no way that man could go more than a day without stealing a kiss from you, and that's just what you wanted.
With that smirk still plastered on your face, you tilted your head up to finally meet the soft touch of his lips, pressing yours against his mouth. You would be ready to care for him once that man flu hit him, and you knew you would have Sarah right there with you as well.

jack hughes x fem! zegras sister! reader
summary: in which jack and y/n break the only rule that trevor gave them.
a/n i love hockey. and the players. also ava doesn't exsist in this </3 sorry ava ily i swear!
masterlist part two
——————————————————————————
I found a love, for me. Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead
"Jack's gonna be here so I need you to be gone." Trevor blurted. The three Zegras siblings were watching a movie in their living room.
"What the hell?" The girl exclaimed.
"I can't have you here, you're so embarrassing!" Trevor was quick to defend himself but was doing a shit job at it.
"Trevor, I live here. Where the hell would I go, you stupid fuckhead?" Y/n looked to her twin brother with her arms crossed.
"Anywhere but here." Trevor shrugged.
"Trev, you can't kick her out." Griffin stated making Trevor let out a groan. He, as well as Y/n, knew better than to argue with Griffin.
"Fine but you better not make goo-goo eyes at him." He turned to Y/n, "I'm serious."
Y/n scoffed before they all turned their focus back to the movie. What the hell was supposed to be so special about this Jack?
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet. Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
"I'm apologizing in advanced for my weird-ass sister." Trevor turned to Jack. The two teenage boys sat in the back of the 'Zegras Mobile'.
"Trevor Zegras, do not call your sister weird and don't say ass." His Mom scolded.
He held his hands up in defeat before turning back to Jack.
"And if you don't find her weird, you can't have her. She is off-limits to my friends." He said as Jack nodded.
"Trust me, Trev. This week is supposed to be about us not about your sister." Jack reassured.
"Good but I'm still serious. Do not fall for my sister." Trevor said seriously before Wildest Dreams came on. Trevor sang along...loudly.
If Trevor was weird like this than his TWIN sister would have to be way worse? Right? Jack thought to himself.
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Y/n rubbed the sleep from her eys as she walked down the stairs. She was wearing one of Griffin's old shirts that fit oversized as well as a pair of Trevor's pj pants.
She didn't notice the extra boy sitting at the table until she went to sit in her spot that had been taken by the mysterious boy.
The two made eye contact and it was almost instantly that they felt something. The moment was quickly interrupted by Trevor.
"Jack meet my gross and weird sister, Y/n. Y/n/n meet Jack." Trevor introduced as he poured himself more cereal.
"Hi." Jack said as Y/n stood awkwardly.
"Are you just gonna stand there like a loser all day or...?" Trevor questioned with a mouth full of cereal in his mouth.
"He's in my spot." The girl said looking at Trevor in disgust.
"Go sit next to Griffin." Trevor dismissed.
"Oh no. I can move." Jack said trying to move from his spot.
"No!" She exclaimed a little too loud, "I mean, it's ok. I can just go eat my breakfast in the living room."
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before stealing the box of Fruit Loops from in front of Trevor. Who tried to snatch them back only to be to slow. Jack watched the whole thing go down but he kept his gaze on her.
Maybe not falling for his brother's sister was gonna be harder than he thought.
But darling, just kiss me slow. Your heart is all I own and in your eyes, you're holding mine
Y/n was currently in the living room watching TV when Jack came in to the room.
"Hi." He breathed out with a smile which she returned.
"Hey. Uh, where's Trevor?" She looked up at him from the couch.
"He's taking a shower and I got bored in his room." Jack answered honestly. Trevor was showering and he was bored but he was also hyping himself up to make a move. He told Trevor and himself that he wouldn't but his stay was coming to an end and he needed to get it off his chest.
The two stayed silent. Not an awkward silence but more of a who was gonna make the first move silence. It was Jack.
"Look, I'm gonna be honest. You're so beautiful and perfect. I've only known you like 6 days but they've been the 6 days of my life just because you've been in them. I know Trevor told me and probably you that we weren't supposed to fall for each other but what the hel-" He was cut off by Y/n standing from the couch and placing her lips on his.
I have faith in what I see. Now I know I have met an angel in person and she looks perfect
She looked perfect was the only thing going through his head when they pulled away.
"I like you too." She said with a sly smile before yet another moment was interrupted by the one and only, Trevor.
"Jack?" Trevor called from up the stairs. The two stood with wide eyes as they were brought back into reality.
They kissed. How were they gonna tell Trevor? They won't right?
They can't.

Surprise Visit
pairing: Steve Harrington x gn!reader warnings/tags: child abandonment, unsupervised minors, Dustin being a little shit, very little swearing, mentions of violence (no real violence takes place) summary: everyone is staying over at Steve's house (I swear, his house is canonically almost like a mansion) when the kids hear strange noises coming from downstairs in the middle of the night. a/n: this is my first short fic on tumblr, so I have no idea how this will work out. Also, yes I'm very aware that it doesn't make a lot of sense, but bear with me. wc: 1.1k
Tumblr media
Just like so many times before, the entire party ended up at Steve's house. It was that time in between the holidays where everyone just stays inside all day, savoring the last bits of the Christmas spirit and the New Year's celebrations. Seeing as Steve's house was always rather empty with just him, it wasn't unusual that at least one person would sleep over or come by during the day.
You were already there, as you had spent the night with Steve. Dustin had come in during breakfast, which had become such a habit that a bowl of cereal already stood on the counter. Robin had showed up around 11.30 A.M., which was uncharacteristically early before they realised she had tagged along with Nancy, who was more of an early bird. After that, the other younger kids had stopped by one by one, naturally staying as they got to talking.
Losing track of time entirely, it got dark much sooner than expected. Since no one really felt like going home and there were more empty bedrooms than would ever be used, everyone just stayed over for the night. Nancy and Robin ended up in one bedroom, the six kids divided over two others, and you had fallen asleep next to Steve in his room.
Around 2.30 A.M., you were woken up by a soft knock on the door. Confused, you looked up at Steve, who's expression looked similar to yours. You got up to the door and opened it, only to find El, Max and Dustin standing on the other side.
"You better have a good excuse to wake us up in the middle of the night," Steve groaned as he stood behind you, rubbing his eyes while stifling a yawn.
"It's not the middle of the night, that's 3 A.M.," Dustin commented with his usual sarcasm, earning himself a 'mom' look from Steve, who glared at him with his hands on his hips.
"Ignore him," Max said, "We heard a noise coming from downstairs."
"A noise?" You asked, "Are you sure?"
You had barely finished your sentence before you heard some indistinct footsteps and muffled voices that you couldn't make out. You glanced over your shoulder at Steve, shooting him a somewhat worried look.
"Alright," You said as you looked back at the three kids again, "You three go to the others, we'll get Robin and Nancy and see what's going on."
"I'll get the bats," Steve replied, somewhat annoyed to be woken up to inspect what the hell was going on this time before reaching under his bed to grab a couple of baseball bats, including the one with the hammered nails.
You sent the kids to stay with the others, telling them to wait for at least half an hour if no one came back. After that, you got Nancy and Robin, who weren't exactly pleased to up either, but also didn't like the idea of someone or something being in the house.
Carefully, you went down the stairs, Steve in the front with you right behind him, closely followed by Robin and Nancy in the back. You had to look back once to slightly glare at Robin, who was whispering "please don't let this be the day I die" over and over again, to get her to quiet down.
The sounds seemed to come from the kitchen, so after making sure no one heard them coming downstairs, Steve quickly opened the door to the kitchen, turning on the light with one hand while clutching his bat with the other one. This seemed to startle whoever the intruders were, because they turned around to face the four of them.
"What the-" Steve could get out before realising who exactly were standing in his kitchen. "Mom? Dad? What the hell are you doing here?"
His parents looked quite confused and rather alarmed by the sight of seeing the four people, all holding a baseball bat, seemingly ready to get a swing out of them.
"Don't talk to your mother like that," Steve's father scolded, his face turning from shocked to stern in a matter of seconds. "And what is all of this, all of you looking as if you're about to bludgeon someone?"
A bit shocked by the outcome themselves, they lowered their improvised weapons.
"What brings you two back to Hawkins?" Steve asked, a somewhat bitter undertone in his voice. "I haven't seen you for what feels like forever."
"We were busy, you know that," His mother answered, her tone matching that of her husband's. "We thought it would be good to stop by and... surprise you for the holidays."
"Well, you're a bit late then, huh? The holidays are over." Perhaps Steve was a bit harsh, but who could blame him? His parents we're rarely home, and even if they were, he couldn't seem to find anything to talk about with them.
"Come, come, don't get sour," His father said, "We only wanted to surprise you, but it seems like you've got your hands full with the three of them." He motioned to Robin, Nancy and yourself, a somewhat suggestive undertone laced in his voice.
"Oh, that's not- we're not-" Nancy stammered as Robin shook her head, "It's not like that- Well, not for all of us... I mean, they are- but we aren't- no."
"Yeah, that totally made sense," Steve said sarcastically.
"Oh, fuck off, they get it," Robin replied, while you just shook your head.
"Anyway," Steve continued, "Thanks for dropping by, but I really don't feel the need to keep this going. I'm going to let the kids know everything's fine and then go to bed."
"Wait, kids?" Both his parents asked in unison.
"You don't need to, they've been listening from the top of the stairs the entire time," Nancy replied dryly, glancing over her shoulder to look at the six kids huddled together, who quickly hurried back to their rooms.
"Of course they have," Steve shook his head before walking out, pulling you along with him while ignoring his parents. Nancy and Robin followed, shooting an awkward smile at the adults before going upstairs.
Once you're back in his room, you lean against the door as Steve sits on his bed. "Are you alright?" You ask, crossing your arms.
"Yeah, I'm alright..." Steve sighed as he lightly massaged his temples. "Don't know how I'm going to deal with my parents in the morning, but I'm fine."
You walk over to him and sit next to him on the bed, laying your head on his shoulder. "We'll figure it out... better get some sleep now."
Steve nodded, putting his arm around you as you both got comfortable again. You'd have to deal with his parents in the morning, if they hadn't already left again before you got up, but that was an issue for later.

A Compilation of Official Cyberchase Polls (part 1/?)
Hello all,
While I was digging around in the Wayback Machine for old versions of the Cyberchase website, I was able to dig up some old polls that they put out for Earthlies. There are a few distinct eras of polls that evolved as the website evolved.
The first format features Dr. Marbles and some bar-graph based machine. I was only able to get two of them to load from this area, though the Wayback machine suggests that there are more archived.
The earliest archived instance that I could find was from February 2, 2002.
Tumblr media
Who is your favorite Cyberkid?
Inez
Jackie
Matt
Here's one from June 21, 2002.
Tumblr media
Why do you think Hacker is so mean?
His hardware is buggy
He's a cyborg
Nobody loves him
He was just born that way
Ouch. This was from the days of the "How It All Started" webcomics, where The Hacker decided to conquer Cyberspace shortly after his birth. So, of course, this poll wasn't going to be sympathetic or nuanced.
This format was changed when the site was updated to use flash. Here's the earliest version that I could load from this era. It was from January 19, 2009.
Tumblr media
What is your favorite breakfast?
a) Eggs b) Pancakes c) Oatmeal d) Cereal
We got this one May 8, 2009.
Tumblr media
What will you give your mom for Mother's Day?
a) A card and flowers b) Breakfast in bed c) A homemade gift d) Write a poem or story for her
I haven't found a way to access the poll results from the first two eras. The third era of polls claims that 368 different questions were asked. Many of the poll questions have been archived, though not all of them have the answers archived. Here are a few of my favorites.
This one is labelled poll #1, so I suppose it was the first one that they asked. They started off with a bang.
Tumblr media
If Hacker accidentally left his wig at your house, what would you do?
a) Throw it in the trash b) Let your pet play with it c) Mail it back to him d) Wear it to school
My first question would be "How on earth did he get into my house?"
This one actually has preserved results.
Tumblr media
Throw it in the trash: 125,483 votes 50% Let your pet play with it: 65,779 votes, 26% Mail it back to him: 27,690 votes, 11% Wear it to school: 34,341 votes, 14% Total 253,293 votes, 101% I am amazed that over 250,000 votes were cast. I don't know whether the site had a way to stop people from voting multiple times, however.
Here's poll #166.
Tumblr media
Why does Hacker want to rule Cyberspace? a) He needs lots of attention b) He has no hobbies c) He thinks it would be cool d) He likes to be the boss
Unfortunately, this one doesn't appear to have its results preserved.
Here's poll #90.
Tumblr media
What's your favorite Jackie show?
a) EcoHaven CSE b) And They Counted Happily Ever c) A Day at the Spa d) Eureeka e) Problem Solving in Shangri-La
The phrasing is interesting on this one. Would you consider these to be "Jackie shows" specifically? The kids all contribute to the problem solutions. I could see an argument for the Shangri-La episode, since she goes away from the others and discovers the poison numbers to win the game of Nim.
Tumblr media
EcoHaven CSE: 1,516 votes, 13% And They Counted Happily Ever: 1,595 votes, 12% A Day at the Spa: 5,522 votes, 42% Eureeka: 1,493 votes, 11% Problem Solving in Shangri-La: 2,893 votes, 22% Total: 13,019 votes, 100%
Okay, here's one more.
Tumblr media
Should Hacker ever win an episode? a) yes b) no c) only 1 episode!! d) never!! This one is fun to think about. A lot of fans love the shocking ending to the first part of Snelfu Snafu, where The Hacker takes over Cyberspace. Alot of fans also love the Transformatron Arc. While the kids were able to save some Cybersites during that arc, the episodes ended with The Hacker slipping away with another part to his infernal machine.
Unfortunately, this is another one where the results weren't archived.
I may post more of these later. I may even turn some of them into Tumblr polls.

you went to the same military school that Bianca and Nico went to and are good friends with them
Percy and co. rescue you and the di angelo siblings from the monster and bring you to camp
the hunters also offer you to join them, like they also offered Bianca, but you say no
at camp percy shows you around and you discover that the girl that fell from the cliff was his best friend, and was named annabeth chase
you try to comfort him, but it ends up being a bit awkward since you didn't know her name until five seconds ago
he first hates it that you are taller than him because he is just an awkward teenage boy that things that something like height says something about someones character
when you first find out that he doesn't enjoy you being taller than him you start to tease him about it
he hates it
he starts to love it tho when you get to know each other better
however
when the camp nearly wins in capture the flag against the hunters because of you, they are impressed by it since you had no paper training and still and such a big impact in their almost-win
they ask you again to join them, but when you again say no they offer you to join them on the hunters quest to help artemis
when percy joins the quest uninvited you are first kinda angry because they clearly said that he wasn't allowed to join you guys, but are later thankful for his once unwelcome join since he saved your life from another monster and stuff
you two get closer on the quest until you become really good friends
you would help him hold the sky and have matching hair strands with him
he comforts you when Bianca dies since you were really good friends with her
you get together between the fourth and the fifth book
you pick him up after school to go watch a new movie in the cinema
that doesn't work out how it was planned because you two got kicked out from the movie theater because you were talking too much
after you two got kicked out you walk to his home and bake some blue cookies after his mom's recipe
it ends with a flour fight and both of you are covered in flour from head to toe
while cleaning the mess he randomly starts rambling about how much of a speacial and good friend you are of his and that he never wants to loose you
it's pretty obvious what he is trying to say
you try to also say something but he doesn't let you
"but what I'm really trying to say is that I couldn't live with-"
"percy-"
"no, let me finish. So I-"
to shut him up you bend down to kiss him
that's how you got together<33
his mom is pretty pissed when she comes home, seeing the whole kitchen covered in flour but her anger quickly vanishes when she finds you two sleeping on the couch while the credits to Nemo play
but anyway
he gets super exited when you res your head on his shoulder
he tries to hide is blush, which is kinda hard considering that his whole face is red like a tomato
you always have to bend down to kiss him<3
he is such a golden retriever boyfriend
he loves pda and cuddling
annabeth would simply try the new tactic for capture the flag to you, but percy just cuddles you and claims that it is his "boyfriend duty" to cuddle you all the time
he'd love to be the little spoon
you two would always dye your matching hair strand, from where you fought atlas and hold the sky, in another color every month
he'd always beg to dye it blue
you do literally everything together, be it sparring or watching your siblings
he'd definitely love pottery, so you sometimes would sneak out at night and drive to the city do visit a night course of pottery (idk if that exists, but let us just pretend that it does for the story)
making soup or cereal bowls for each other<33
always baking blue pancakes together for every minor event (birthdays, holidays etc. )
sometimes you'd tease him while doing it and hide the blue food color from him
he only gets it back in reward for kisses
he says he hates it but he secretly loves it
don't tell that anyone tho

STWG Prompt: Buzzed/Shaved Head
"Woah, what the hell?"
"Hi Lucas."  Will sat down at the table, acting as casual as he could.  "Good morning to you too."
"That's not- what did you do?"  Lucas stared at Will with wide eyes.  "Where'd your hair go?"
"Cut it off."  Will shrugged, taking a bite of his cereal.  "I mean, I thought it was time for a change.  And El's been... she's been upset about her hair.  She'd been growing it out so long, it's another thing that got taken away from her.  So I thought... you know, I could do something to show support."
"That's... kinda sweet.  It doesn't look bad, you know.  It's a good look, actually.  Once you get past the shock."
Will's lips twitched.  "Thanks."  He ran a hand over his head, the short hair bristly against his palm.  "It does take some getting used to, I guess.  But I wasn't really doing anything with my hair anyway.  Just let mom cut it when it got too long.  So last night I asked Jonathan to shave it off for me."
"I mean, it looks good, I'm serious.  Maybe short hair was always the right look for you."  Lucas nudged his foot against Will's under the table.  "You're a good brother."
"Yeah, I try."  He grinned, almost bashful.  "And it's nice to make a change."
Mike joined them, looking tired, eyes half shut as he sat down.  "Mmh."
"Good morning to you too."  Will snickered.  "Sleep okay?"
"Slept like shit."  Mike rubbed his eyes and finally opened them to look at Will.  "Um."  He stared for a long moment and Will was shocked to see the barest shade of pink rising in his face.  "Your hair, it-"
"Yeah, I woke up and it just looked like this."
"What."  Mike blinked a few times, pretty obviously still waking up.
Will snickered.  "I'm kidding, oh my god.  I did it last night.  Jonathan helped.  What do you think?"
"What do I think?"  He just kept staring, going quiet for a long moment.
Will felt his heart start to sink and tried to remind himself that it didn't matter what Mike thought.  It wasn't like he could take it back, he couldn't grow his hair back just because Mike didn't like it.  "That bad?"
"No!"  Mike shook his head rapidly.  "No, that's not- good.  It's really good.  You look really good.  I mean, your hair.  It's good.  You look good."  The blush darkened, his cheeks red.
"Oh."  Will could feel a blush of his own rising.  "Thanks Mike."  He touched his hair again, not used to the texture under his fingertips.  "It's different, but I thought it was time for different."
"Different is good.  You're good.  You look so good, I mean-"
"Mike?"  Lucas spoke up, eyebrows raised as high as they'd go.
"Hm?  Oh, hi Lucas."
"Stop talking."
"...yup."  Mike nodded and sunk down in his sat like he wanted to hide.
Will couldn't help his wide grin or the hope blooming in his chest at the look on Mike's face and the way he was tripping over his words.  He tried to push it down, but maybe, just for a little bit, he'd let himself be content with it.  "Thanks Mike.  I'm glad you think it looks good."

Today is fun and memorable for yourself, Tony, and your three Munchkins because you will visit a Christmas market for the first time since Paxton was born almost a year ago.
Both Hudson and Orion have dressed themselves, and you're sitting on the couch while eating some fruit, watching TV, and breastfeeding your son while your husband, Tony, is whipping breakfast for himself and the twins.
''Sunshine, where did the cinnamon go?'' you hear from the kitchen. And you have just taken a bite out of a piece of apple, making you unable to answer, and it comes out in a stumbling mess.
''Where is it?'' he asked, his head poking around the corner because he didn't hear you.
''Sorry, I just took a bite of my apple! It's in the cupboard with the cereals and baking supplies, where it always is,'' you tell him, and he returns to let you know he found it so he can finish the waffles for the three of them.
It doesn't take long before the smell of waffles fills the air, and you close your eyes as you feel content. It's a nice winter day outside, and the house is filled with laughter, warmth, and an all-encompassing coziness.
Tony is making waffles, and the twins are coloring at the dining room table to keep themselves busy; you're catching up with the latest episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, and Paxton is almost falling asleep while feeding him. Perfect.
Your attention gets ripped from the TV screen when you see Tony walking into the room; his sweats hung low on his hips to reveal the perfect V leading into his pants, his abs on display, making your mouth water. He can walk around shirtless every second of every day, and you wouldn't complain for a second.
''I made one for you as well, Sunshine. Didn't want to leave my best girl out when I'm making her favorite breakfast,'' he tells you as he places the plate with the waffle next to you on the couch for easy access.
''What did I ever do to deserve such a sweet husband as you? I must have been a saint in a past life to deserve you, I swear!'' you say with a smile adorning your face. Tony leans in for a sweet kiss, leaving you hungry for more.
''Thank you for being my amazing wife, Sunshine,'' he whispers, followed by a kiss on your forehead before heading back to the kitchen to finish the waffles and have breakfast with the twins.
Paxton is a hungry boy this morning, and when he's done, you do not need to pump the excess, though you still make a mental note to bring it with you just in case.
When your fruit and waffles are gone, and Paxton is burped, it's time to head toward the Christmas market.
''I'm going to change this little hungry monster and get dressed as well, so I'll be right back,'' you tell Tony, who replies with a thumbs up as he just shoved the last piece of waffle into his mouth.
Paxton's diaper is changed in no time, and when you're dressing him in today's outfit, you feel a pair of strong arms sliding around your waist and pulling you closer.
''How's our Little One doing today?'' Tony asks as his head leans on your shoulder, and you let yourself melt into his touch while dressing Paxton.
''He's good; he's finally eating again, so I'm happy. I'm still bringing the pump in case he won't eat as much later, but I think it won't be necessary.''
He's been sick with a stomach bug for the last week, but now that he's healthy and eating again, he's his happy, chubby self and stealing everyone's hearts.
When you're about to finish dressing him, he lets out a huge yawn, making you giggle at how cute he is. He's the exact copy of his Dad, and you're very thankful to have gotten the gift of your little boy last Christmas.
''Someone's still a little sleepy, aren't you? That's okay, Little One; you can have all the naps you want today to regain some of your energy. Being sick for so long isn't nice, huh,'' you coo at him before picking him up and planting a loud kiss on both his cheeks, making him giggle uncontrollably.
''There's my happy boy again!'' you say before handing Paxton to Tony, who was already dressed in the outfit you laid out for him so you could match with him today.
''I'll be right with you if you can get everything ready and loaded; we'll be ready to go in about 10 to 15 minutes,'' you tell Tony, who nods, and as promised, 15 minutes later, you're fully dressed and in the car and off to the Christmas market.
''Mommy? Are we having a sleepover in the living room again tonight? It will be the first one with Paxton, too, and I want to sleep with all of you on the big mattress!'' he asks excitedly.
''Of course we will, Baby Boy! It's our tradition, after all! But before that, we will watch a Christmas movie, drink hot chocolate, and cuddle with everyone. How do you like that idea?'' you tell him, and both twins cheer happily in the backseat.
Tony grins widely, and his hand has found its home on your thigh, squeezing softly now and again. The drive to the Christmas market goes without a single problem, and you can park relatively close to the entrance, for which you're thankful.
You're about to get Paxton out of his car seat when you notice that he'd fallen asleep during the car ride, and you turn to Tony for help. You're usually carrying him at home when you're doing chores, but outside, you prefer to have Tony do it since you'll be walking a lot.
''He's a little sleepyhead today. Can you carry him in the cloth sling as we walk over the market?'' you ask him. Tony gets the sling ready for a smooth transfer and doesn't wake up once.
''You're still sleepy, huh? Are you comfortable in there, Little One?'' when he hears Paxton's soft snores, he kisses him on the crown of his head. When he's wrapped up and comfortable, it's finally time to stroll over the market and do some last-minute holiday shopping.
Hudson and Orion are holding one of your hands, and Tony has one hand in his pocket; the other is resting on Paxton's back over the cloth. It is a sight you will never get enough of, and you can't resist taking a few photos immediately shared in your family group chat.
''Mommy? Can we get a Santa plushy for Paxton's birthday?'' Orion suddenly asks when she's spotted a big Santa plushy, and she practically pulls you over to the stand.
In front of you is a big, 15'' crocheted Santa, and you can never say no to your daughter, so not even 5 minutes later, you're one crocheted Santa richer and $90 lighter, but it's all worth it to see the smile on your daughters face.
''He'll love it, Mommy, I know it!'' she tells you before running off to Tony so she can show him her present for Paxton.
After a bit more strolling, it's time to get something to snack on and a hot chocolate for everyone to warm up, and you have found the perfect stall. They sell hot chocolate with marshmallows and lots of different Christmas treats.
''Can we have a Cupcake, Daddy?'' Hudson asks, and Tony nods, ordering a red and green cupcake for the twins and a big slice of caramel pie for you and him to share, paired with hot chocolate for everyone.
''You can find a place to sit, and I will bring everything over in a minute,'' he tells you, and Hudson and Orion storm off to find the perfect spot while you're strolling after them, and it doesn't take long for them to find one.
''Who's ready for some hot chocolate and a snack?!'' you hear Tony say, and the twins instantly perk up at their Dad's question. The drinks and snacks are gone in no time, and before you know it, you're in the car back home, and your holiday shopping is officially finished.
When dinner is finished, Tony drags both the big mattress from the guest room and Paxton's travel bed down the stairs, and the living room is transformed into your own sleepover room.
With everyone wearing matching pajamas, you're getting ready to watch Home Alone before bed, and Tony is preparing hot chocolate for you and himself, and all three kids will have some warm milk during the movie.
Tony is sitting on the lounge part of your couch with you between his legs as you cuddled into his hold, and you're giving Paxton his last bottle of the day, and Hudson and Orion are cuddled up together under a big blanket as they're enjoying their warm milk too.
This is your favorite Christmas tradition, and when Tony places a soft kiss on your head before giving you a small, reassuring squeeze, you know it was the right choice to share your life with this man.
When the movie is finished, you transfer Paxton into his travel bed, and Tony and the kids have already found their place underneath the comforter, ready for you to join them.
''Is there room for one more, or do I have to tickle someone to make room?!'' you ask playfully, and you slide in next to Hudson before pulling him against you. Orion is cuddling with her Dad, and not long after, all four of you are asleep.
One thing is sure: Christmas has become much more enjoyable after you met Tony, and you wouldn't change anything for the world. Life has never felt this perfect, and you can't wait to do this with your grandchildren one day.

A deal with you - Part 1
[Summary: What happened before PJ and Gradient death]
"Mommy I'm still hungry..." Merciless pouted.
He just ate a tiny piece of bread, at least it's a lot than the last time.
"I know sweetie." Said Killer as she kissed her son forehead. "Just be patience, once that evil guy is out. You'll be able to eat as much as you want!"
"Really?" Smile Merciless. "I wanna eat cereal, a lot of cereal!" Said Merciless. "I got to talk to brother today and he said he got cereal for breakfast."
"That's nice sweetie..." Killer patted her son head. "Now about you go to sleep so the hunger will stop."
"Okay!" Merciless nodded his head as he lay on Killer's lap.
Right, this is Merciless room. He was mistreated badly.. He don't even has a bed or window to look out. It's more like a prison cell instead of room for 5 years old.
Killer got lucky today for being able to stay next to Merciless. The guards usually will force her to leave or some maids will injured her.
"Mommy, will I be able to meet tiny baby sissy soon?" asked Merciless. "How long will she be in your belly?"
"Hmm? Merciless, we don't know if the baby is a girl or boy yet..." Killer slightly chuckles. "You have to be quiet about this, don't let anyone hear us."
*BAM!!*
A loud voice coming from the outside, it's Nightmare.
"Merciless, quick hide!" Killer grabbed her son by hand and make him hide under the bed. "Don't come out unless that evil guy is gone... Okay?" Her voice trembled in fears.
"M-Mom—"
The door was opened at once. Nightmare seems upset...
"Just the hell you were doing in this rat's room." he groans.
Nightmare went to Killer and forcefully grabbed her by wrist. That'll leave some bruise...
Killer stay silence, she can't say anything right now. If she do, things will get worse.
Merciless watched Nightmare took Killer away in horror. He is horrified of his own father.
As they were away from Merciless room. Angst were reading behind the pillar quietly, he unlike Crescent, remember how much Killer love her children. Angst always try to find a way to talk to Killer quietly.
But today was different, Nightmare was grabbing Killer and now he threw her on the floor.
Angst saw the scene as he hid behind the pillar. He have to do something, but he know if he interfere, not only Killer but all of his siblings will get hurt.
"You damned woman. How many time I have to tell you to listen to me!" Yelled Nightmare. Nightmare then grabbed Killer hair and make her face him. "First that damned destroyer purposely pissed me off and now you?" he laughed. "You people truly trying to—"
*Bonk!*
A duck toy was threw on Nightmare's head. It was Crescent who did it.
"F-Father, don't touch my mom like that!" Crescent slightly raised his voice.
He is terrified to see his parents are fighting. Killer is more horrified about this situation now. She take any abuse as long Nightmare don't touch her children..
Nightmare cracked a smile and his eyes were dark. He slowly let go of Killer's hair.
"Crescent, my son... This is adult business." Said Nightmare. Just then, his tendril are choking Crescent now. "You know what happens when rats like you interfere hmm?"
"NO—!" Killer grabbed Nightmare arm. "Please let go of my baby, he didn't know. I SWEAR I'LL NEVER VISIT MERCILESS AGAIN." She cries.
Nightmare look unimpressed, he doesn't want to change his mind.
"Boss!" Cross finally came back to the castle. "Let go of him. He is your son remember?! You want a heir don't you?" Cross keep his cool, trying not to show he is nervous.
"What's the use of having a heir if this rat all know to interfere adult business?" glares Nightmare.
"That's because he's a child.. We- I can educate him how to not be like this anymore so let him go.." Said Cross.
It was a silent for couple of seconds. Nightmare let go of Crescent at last.
Killer caught Crescent before his head his the ground.
"Tch..." scoffed Nightmare. "I better see you in my office in few minutes, Killer." Nightmare walked away as he didn't bother to glance back.
Crescent is still breathing, Killer couldn't be more thankful to God. Angst stop hiding behind the pillar as he immediately went to Killer.
"Mom...!" he cried.
"I'm here honey... I'm here." she smiles gently to her son. Not wanting to worry him.
Cross sighed as he look over the mess. He carry Crescent on his arms and say
"I'll heal him up." Said Cross. "I'll apply some ointment for you later... Okay?"
"Okay..." smiles Killer. "Angst, go with mister Cross." Said Killer.
"Alright mom..." he nodded and follow Cross from behind.
All the servants was watching. They are laughing on how miserable Killer is...
And now she have to face Nightmare again....
