Baby Taylor's baby voice is so endearing and it's going to be bittersweet to "lose" that on the TVs, but I'm really excited to hear how they clean up (or not) the production on Debut. I mean I know they're going to make it as accurate as possible to the originals, but I mean in the actual sound mixing and stuff. Because I feel like this album could benefit the most from some of that! Which is not to say that the original is bad BECAUSE IT'S NOT, but I think there is subtle stuff they can do with the mixing/blending/instrumentals/treble/etc. to make it shine even more.

⟡ Mhin is not from Lovent, but they DID contract their curse there. "Anything for the pursuit of knowledge..." Perhaps Mhin had only intended to go there for study and they unwittingly brought Something Else back...

Title tag is #lost expeditions... Mhin went to Lovent with loved ones and is the lone survivor of the expedition?? No one has ever made it back except for Mhin?

Mhin fought to escape and that is when Kuras finds and help them?

⟡ Did they learn something about the Senobium while in Lovent? Is that why they are so determined, so sure that what they need is inside?

Scar never wanted to be left behind before. Scar never wanted to be alone before. Scar didn’t think he’d ever want to be away from people, away from connection more than he had already. He didn’t want to do this. Lizzie was frowning, and he didn’t want to do this. Lizzie was asking the very question he had asked so many times— Why, why, why. He couldn’t make himself stop, he couldn’t.

“Oh, I’m— I’m—”

Scar’s breath staggered as Impulse explained more and more, wishing Skizz could have gone somewhere else— anywhere else— for a Heart. His own was beating out of his chest, and he couldn’t stop his hands from shaking as he took out the stick. He had to do this. He had to do this. He wished he didn’t. The explosion of shouts full of righteous rage dragged the fear he tried to keep buried deep and Scar couldn’t do anything else but bolt, making himself even more apprehensive by apologizing. He couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t breathe.

“Neutral!” Scar nodded his head, refraining the urge to run off again. He couldn’t bear to lock eyes with Grian, he couldn’t, he couldn’t. He smiled weakly.

Joel was yelling at him. They all were yelling at him. He could only hasten his pace, trying his best not to be even more of an idiot and lose health over fall damage. It was hard to focus when the only thing he could hear were screams telling him to take it off. He couldn’t. Of course he fucking couldn’t. He felt sick to his stomach, he felt sick in the head. His body was moving on its own, because of course he couldn’t control his anything he did.

“No— bad! I’m bad—” Grian wouldn’t stop staring at him, the confusion on his face wouldn’t go away, Grian wouldn’t go away, and naturally the one time Scar didn’t want Grian to go near him, the one time— Scar would do anything Grian asked. At least he would if it meant to feel wanted.

(He couldn’t now.)

“Good!” He corrected hastily, chuckling softly. “I’m good!”

Normally Grian saw right through him, and he hoped this time was no different.

don’t mind me this is the smallest thing i could possibly be focusing on but i am actually going crazy over how that weird shadow figure and m. bition (mainly just m. bition tbh) both just call the fix ‘fix’ when the fix said before to conrad that he would prefer ‘the fix’

and yeah maybe it’s a matter of him not just telling them But it’s also very telling that he felt that he COULDNT tell them what he actually preferred. when conrad, right from the get go after using ‘fix’, did a 180 and actually asked what the fix wanted, and then continued to respect that (‘mister the fix’)

idk man something something authority figures making you feel powerless and not caring about what you want something something the boy who you were sent to kill by your superiors being nicer to you than anybody else and respecting what you want despite being scared

Another silly Vault 666 comic, because every time I draw something with Lucifer in it his stupid baby face bugs me. 

It drives him crazy in-universe too, though. He can’t grow facial hair to save his life (only patchy little wisps of almost-invisible blonde peach fuzz). He is 5'2″ and has a baby face and it is SO HARD to get people to take him seriously sometimes. He likes wearing his lab coat outside of his workshop because people still tend to associate “scientist” with “authority” and he will take whatever help he can get at this point.

Doesn’t help that most Wastelanders age like milk due to exposure to elements, poor nutrition, tons of environmental hazards, and radiation everywhere.

Hunter forgot to cover to it before he came by to the Parks to drop off a chair that he carved for them, determined to make them a full set by the end of his apprenticeship. He went to place it in the room when Gilbert noticed the mark, thinking it a bruise at first. He quickly realized what it was and tapped his husbands shoulder and they shared a smile.

Hunter was in the middle of talking about a music box he wanted to make for Willow and how Raine was helping him with music aspect of it while the two men were trying so hard not to laugh. They know Hunter, they know he’s a good, honest, and upstanding boy and they also know they raised a strong, capable, and rather… passionate young lady. They trust Willow’s judgement and they also remember being in their position, so of course they need to tease them at every opportunity.

“Oh, it looks like you might have a bruise or something there, Hunter,” said Gilbert.

“Yeah,” said Harvey. “Hope you’re okay.”

“Huh?” responded Hunter, confused before following their gaze to his neck. His hand flew up to cover it when he realized. “Oh! Uh, it’s nothing. Just an injury from… flyer derby.”

“Oh, we know what’s it from,” teased Harvey as they both erupted into a sea of giggles, and Hunter joined in awkwardly as he didn’t know what else to do. “We remember that injury very well from our days in derby.”

“Oh yeah?” Hunter gulped, convinced they believed his ad-libbed fib.

“Yeah,” Harvey sighed, slowing down his laughter. “Oh, well at least Willow’s been able to avoid such an injury.”

“Oh, well she’s much better at makeup than I am,” said Hunter, thinking he was off the hook as he gathered his things to leave. “She’s just better at hiding them.”
