your footsteps felt heavy while you ran towards the dance studio. you couldn't even catch a breath when you opened the door after seeing the rest of the boys trying to tear sunghoon and heeseung apart. both of them had their chests puffed out, brows furrowed together and frankly, they looked like they were ready to kill each other.

"guys, come on. let's cool off and practice for now, hm? please?" yunho whined, panic evident in his face as he stood in between two boys, his lengthy arms pushing them apart while the others held them back by their arms and shoulders.

sunghoon scoffed and glared at heeseung whose gaze was just as pointy as his. "not after this tree looking ass came up to me, all in my business AND accusing me of being a liar!"

"you can't tell me shit after my friends saw you hugging that girl!"

sunghoon was evidently shocked as all eyes directed towards him, the look on his face becoming one painted with a little sadness as he saw the disappointed eyes of the hyung he most looked up to: minho.

"why were your friends even following me? got a crush on me, heeseung?" he challenged, scoffing a bit before stepping forward and once more, the group came into a panic with more of them holding back sunghoon.

christ, they were a mess. both men look disheveled, their knuckles turned pink. heeseung had a busted lip and sunghoon had blood smeared under his nose. yeosang and minho looked at you, silently begging you'd come in the fight but you were too stunned after hearing the following words leave heeseung's mouth.

heeseung couldn't even finish his words because something ticked in sunghoon and he broke off of mingi and han's hold with a frustrated grunt, immediately landing a loud punch on heeseung's jaw. another fist fight ensued and the boys were trying their best to separate the two without getting hit themselves.

that's when you broke out of your trance to shout.

"everyone, shut the fuck up!"

you truly didn't know what to do anymore. from hearing heeseung's unintended confession to seeing sunghoon atop heeseung, fist raised in the air and ready to land another punch— you were truly on the brink of insanity.

not to mention the amount of eyes on you right now. everyone looked like deers caught in headlights.

but who could blame them?

almost everyone got a gist of what was happening— the past week of practice was hectic but they knew where both men would go off to in between breaks. what they didn't know was the story of sunghoon being present in your life before you even knew heeseung; and you felt mortified to have them hear the short story of what happened through the two boys' fight.

you didn't even know when you started crying but you sniffed and ripped off heeseung's hold on sunghoon's collar before pushing the latter off and pulling heeseung up from the floor.

"take care of him." you mumbled to minho whose eyes you couldn't read but you didn't bother to try, pulling heeseung to the school's clinic.
