that was how he was here, standing on his tiptoes, spotting him at the other end of the room. slowly, he makes his way towards Alex, twisting hands together nervously. alex, i love you but i'm also a vampire. no. that wasn't right either.

with a shaky breath, he steps forward, allowing Alex to see him, putting on his best puppy dog eyes as he approached. "Alex." his voice is quiet, maybe a bit squeaky. "can we please talk?" he gives a respectful nod to the president. "in private?"
