Ranboo fiddles with the shiny, gold ring on his finger. It's new to him, so naturally his attention is drawn by it more often, but something about the way he plays with it— Tubbo notes— is a sign that somethings not quite right.
It's not a casual fiddle, is what Tubbo's trying to say.
It's not an anxious one either, just an 'I have something on my mind and I don't know how to say it' one. It's an 'I'm thinking really hard about something and I need to occupy myself somehow so I don't explode' one.
There's a lot of different variations to Ranboo's fiddling, and he does it often enough for Tubbo to actively take note of each one.
Tubbo has discovered a lot since they first met each other, and he's sure he's bound to discover many more now that they're married.
When Ranboo finally settles the right words, they say, "Tubbo," drawing in their husband's attention (being referred as 'husband' now is still kind of new for both of them, even if it's just in their heads).
Tubbo turns his head slightly to look at them, peering down at where they're nestled under his arm, curled in close, leaving the rest of the sofa empty. "Mhm?" Tubbo hums, giving Ranboo an audible cue that he is wholeheartedly paying attention to whatever his husband has to say.
(Husband was never a word that Tubbo thought he'd view fondly. It always carried too much weight to it— until he met Ranboo and the word became lighter than a feather— softer than one, too.)
"When I proposed and— and you said yes," Ranboo starts, "did you plan on it— on this being a permanent thing?"
Tubbo's brows furrow slightly. "Of course I did," he replies. "Isn't that the whole purpose of marriage? Like, the whole point of it is to find someone you wanna spend the rest of your life with and then marry them, is it not?" Tubbo's confused as to why he— the objectively more aromantic one— understands the concept of marriage more than Ranboo does.
"Well, I mean, yeah, I just—" Ranboo takes a breath, "I wasn't sure."
"Do I need to up the romance or something?" Tubbo asks, pinching Ranboo's side teasingly. "Do we need to go on more dates? Do I need to buy you more flowers?"
"No, no, this is— what we have right now is— it's good," Ranboo interjects. They press their lips into a thin line and nod to themselves. He still hasn't stopped fiddling with his ring in that 'I need to tell you something' way.
Tubbo sighs. "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" he asks, trying to keep the conversation going, pretending he doesn't know the answer. Really what he's asking is 'are you going to tell or me or not?'
Ranboo drops both of his hands into his lap. They move around a bit so they can sit closer to Tubbo, which essentially means as much as physics will literally allow them to. They lay their head a little bit further on his chest. Tubbo, in turn, brushes his hand through Ranboo's long hair, tucking their bangs back behind their ear.
"I'm just happy, I guess," Ranboo says, voice light, softly spoken.
"About anything in particular, or..?" Tubbo questions. Surely they don't spent all that time fiddling with their ring just to tell him they're happy— which isn't to say that his husband's happiness isn't something he should know about, it's just— surely there's more.
Ranboo shrugs. "I'm happy that I'm the one you chose to spend the rest of your life with," they say. "It really means a lot, because I wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else either."
Tubbo can't see them smile, but can hear it loud and fucking clear in their tone, and it's the sweetest, sappiest thing ever and Tubbo might actually throw up.
"And—" Ranboo continues— "I just really wish I could actually spend the rest of my life with you, not just a fraction of it. A-And if we end up dying together then— then I'd be happy about that fate, too."
Oh, for the love of the gods, fuck Ranboo and their stupid fucking belief in fate and destiny and telling Tubbo about it because it's so cheesy and it makes Tubbo's face feel all hot and Ranboo sounds so fucking gay when he says it and Tubbo doesn't know how to respond. Like, ever.
Not normally, at least.
"Yeah, whatever Count Fagula," Tubbo responds, "I love you, too."
Ranboo's reaction is immediate.
He goes so still— like, comically still— and he doesn't move or speak or make a sound or anything, and a for second Tubbo fears that his words have just straight up killed the guy.
And Tubbo can't tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing because Ranboo tends to freeze up after they kiss sometimes, but he also freezes when they get into unexpected social predicaments in public.
But they're not in public and Ranboo's fairly safe in Tubbo's arms so it's probably the former.
Just to be sure, though, Tubbo asks, "Everything alright?"
This seems to be enough to bring Ranboo back to life. "Yeah, uh," they start, fumbling as they begin to laugh, "gods, yeah, I just wasn't expecting you to say that."
"What were you expecting me to say, then?"
"I don't know! Anything but that, honestly."
"You mean to tell me you've never been called Count Fagula in your life?"
"No! Nope, I can't say I have."
"This surprises me."
"Really?"
"Yes! I mean, I may be biased, but I'd say you fit the criteria pretty accurately."
"And the criteria is..?" Ranboo asks.
"Gay. Vampire," Tubbo replies. "That's literally it."
"That could fit most of the vampire population then."
"Exactly! Which is why I'm shocked by the fact that you've never been called that before."
Ranboo continues to laugh. Tubbo doesn't understand what's so funny, to be quite honest, he's just glad that Ranboo didn't take offence to it and divorce him on the spot.
at some point in their lives catalyst!Tubbo WILL call catalyst!Ranboo "Count Fagula" and i do not know when it will happen but by god it will and Ranboo will be absolutely gobsmacked and dumbfounded and he will not recover for at least two weeks

notes: apoc au ^-^ this has been in the works for a while, so hope u guys enjoy! thanks to @b1rdza for the title and the letting me plan things w them :}
tws: blood, injury, violence, talks of death and zombies
Ranboo stared at his phone, slightly cracked and looking worse for wear, reminiscing over the photo on his lock screen. A picture from two months ago of him, Tubbo, and Tommy beaming at the camera. Ranboo returned the smile. Probably a picture Wilbur took on their moving day.
Two months ago, Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo began living together. Two months ago was the last time everything was normal.
Ranboo leaned against the wall of the now crumbling apartment and laid his head back against the foggy windows with a sigh. He could hear Tubbo in the other room quietly singing a cheerful tune and fiddling with some new gadget on his own. Tommy still wasn’t home from the scouting trip he had left for hours ago, and as the minutes ticked by, more and more anxiety gnawed at Ranboo's stomach.
Speak of the devil, Ranboo thought to himself as the communicator next to him began to buzz. It was Tommy, unsurprisingly. Ranboo gingerly set the phone down and picked up the other device. “Hello?”
“RANBOO, GET - krzzkr - HERE, THERE’S - skrzzkz - FUCKING HORDE HEADING OUR - krzzssz - HELP-”
Ranboo flinched and held the speaker away from his ear as he sprang to his feet. “Oh god, alright. Hold on, Tommy, I’m getting Tubbo and we’re going. Where are you?” He pulled on his boots and grabbed the musty red rucksack that hung next to the door.
“WEST- kzzszrt - NEAR THE DINER-”
“Just stay calm, Tommy, find a hiding place, you know the drill,” he knocked on Tubbo’s door urgently, but there was no response. "Are you k- whatever," Ranboo threw open the door, muttering to himself. Tubbo yelped in surprise as the door swung open, flinging his arm out and knocking his project onto the carpet. “We’ve gotta go,”
Tubbo took a deep breath and raised an eyebrow. “What’s up, bossman?”
Ranboo began to explain, but Tommy seemed eager to take matters into his own hands.
“TUBBO, THEY’RE FUCKIN’ AFTER - skrzztz - YOUR HELP RIGHT NOW, GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE - kryzztz - TO GOD I WON’T FORGIVE YOU IF I DIE,” he yelled through the radio. Tommy was breathing heavily, and Ranboo and Tubbo could hear quick, heavy footsteps pounding against the pavement.
“Oh fuck, okay, we’re coming, Tommy!” Tubbo grabbed his yellow bag from the foot of his mattress, abandoning his gadget and nearly knocking over his trash can full of failed prototypes. “Where is he?” he asked Ranboo, straining as he tugged his shoes over his heels.
“West Elm, near the diner,” Ranboo said as he pulled his mask over his face, leading Tubbo into the kitchen and grabbing his crowbar from the counter. “We’re on our way, just stay hidden and stay put.” Ranboo ended the transmission before Tommy could keep shouting at him and pulled open the door. “Let’s go, Tubbo,”
Tubbo hoisted his bat over his shoulder and tugged his goggles over his eyes. Wordlessly, the duo slunk out from the crumbling apartment building and down the street.
Nothing new, Ranboo noticed as the two speed-walked around the dilapidated city. Broken glass lined the pavement in front of shopping outlets, rotting wooden planks covered doors and windows, and the smell of flesh and blood filled the air around them, pungent and nauseating. The acrid scent slithered through the mask over Ranboo's nose and snaked into his nostrils, and he fought back the urge to heave as he swallowed the bile rising in his throat.
Rapidly rounding a corner, Ranboo tore his eyes away from the city scenery, stifling a gasp of surprise as he and Tubbo found themselves face to face with a gathering of the undead.
With bulging eyes and mouths lined with yellowed, broken teeth, the pack shuffled down the debris-covered road in the opposite direction, still oblivious to Ranboo and Tubbo's appearance. They seemed too busy tracking something out of sight to pay attention to the smell of fresh, unspilled blood nearby. Unfortunately, Ranboo realized with a sinking feeling in his stomach, the thing they must have been searching for was Tommy, and to find him, he and Tubbo would have to make it through the horde of the starving dead.
Tubbo stared ahead at the mob, a sour expression painting his face. "Don't tell me-"
"We have to, Tubbo. Unless you want to leave Tommy to die over there."
"I'm gonna be honest bossman, that sounds pretty fuckin' appealing right now," Tubbo replied dryly.
"I really hope you're joking," Ranboo answered. "C'mon," he urged, gripping the crowbar in his gloved hands, and charged forward like a bull.
The zombies, luckily for Ranboo, moved slowly, giving him time to react between attacks. He swiped nimbly with his left hand, slamming the metal bar into the face of a corpse, taking its head off with a satisfying crunch. Ranboo heard a grunt next to his ear and rolled out of the way right as an undead creature swung at him, nearly grabbing his arm and pulling him back. He brought the crowbar down into the skull of his attacker and looked away as the creature made a strangled sound in the back of its throat. Bobbing and weaving through the sea of the undead, Ranboo slammed the crowbar into every shambling body he could reach, over and over again. He yelped as he suddenly felt something grab his arm, sending a wave of pain up his arm from the iron-like grip. He wrenched his hand away frantically and stabbed the crowbar into the zombie's eyes. Breathing heavily, he scrambled away from the horde and into the clear at last. Ranboo gripped his sore arm and anxiously looked over the sea of corpses. Tubbo hadn't come out of the mob yet, and Ranboo's stomach twisted with fear at the thought of something happening to him.
A loud smack came from somewhere inside the cluster of bodies, and at last, Tubbo appeared, waving his bloodstained baseball bat like a madman and shouting a string of curses at the undead hands grabbing at his clothes. He ran to Ranboo's side, gasping for air. "Don't ever fucking make me do that again, okay?"
Ranboo grinned, relieved that he seemed unharmed. "Alright, alright, whatever," he said, flicking a drop of blood from his face. "We have to keep moving or they'll catch up with us."
----------
Tubbo and Ranboo slid open the diner door silently, stepping over the upturned chairs and tables as they walked into the abandoned building. "Tommy?" Tubbo whispered. "Are you in here?"
"Tubbo?" A voice answered. A head of curly blond hair popped up from behind the counter, and an unmistakable look of relief swept over Tommy's face when he caught sight of the two. "Thank fuck," he muttered, breathing a sigh of relief and dragging himself to his feet, hauling his backpack with him. "I wasn't sure how much longer I'd last." Crawling out from behind the counter, Tommy pulled his green bandana down from over his mouth again and faced the duo. "How'd you get through that giant fuckin' mob back there?"
Ranboo and Tubbo held up their crowbar and bat, respectively. "We managed," Tubbo said with a shrug. "That's beside the point though, why have you been gone so long? You were supposed to be back, like, two hours ago!" The three inched towards the door as Tubbo talked, slipping back into the streets and booking it in the opposite direction they came from.
Tommy huffed, trying to keep up with his friends. "Other than those dickheads back there keeping me away, I stopped by Phil's place for a bit to get us some food," he explained through deep breaths. "We haven't been able to get out much, thought it'd help." He held up his lumpy bag, obviously full of cans and boxes.
"Tommy, you know carrying food long distances is dangerous," Ranboo huffed, pulling ahead of the group as they rounded a corner. "Those things can smell just about everything, what made you think that was even slightly a good idea?"
Tommy made an indignant scoffing noise in the back of his throat. "Well, ex-CUSE me, Boob Boy, for wanting to help out you and Tubbo. That's my bad," he said, placing unnecessary emphasis on the last two words.
Ranboo rolled his eyes with faux annoyance as the three of them kept walking. "How many times have I told you to stop calling me that?"
"Not enough clearly," Tubbo answered, amusement obvious in his tone.
"Oh my god-" A hand flew over his mouth as Tommy suddenly took a sharp turn and flattened him against the bricks of a rundown building. Ranboo bit back a pained grunt as his aching arm hit the bricks. "I can hear those fuckers nearby," he removed his palm from Ranboo's masked mouth, and the three of them pressed their backs against the crumbling wall. "Is there another way we can take?"
He pressed his lips into a thin line, eyes darting back and forth as he strained his ears to listen for the familiar groans of the undead. "There are only a few that won't take us, like, two hours," he whispered. "Most roads loop around the city, and-"
"-and there's no way in hell that we'd make it back alive if we travel in the dark," Tubbo finished bleakly. He stared at the ground, lost in thought as though he were hoping the answer would write itself on the sidewalk. "So what now? Just stay here and wait until the morning? Surely not," he looked up at the other two. "I mean, that's a death wish right there,"
Ranboo and Tommy nodded silently. "I guess there's always Phil's place, but that's a couple dozen blocks down the road," Ranboo suggested, glancing up at the sky. It was only marginally darker than when they'd left, but Ranboo knew the light wouldn't last for much longer - especially not with the luck they'd been having. He absently rubbed his sore arm, careful to keep something from hitting it again. "We'd have to leave now to be there before dark,"
"Don't tell me we have to fuckin' walk even more," Tommy griped loudly. "I just got back from his place, are you sure there isn't a faster way home?"
"We can leave you here with the horde, if that's what you prefer," Tubbo retorted. Slinging his yellow bag over one arm and hoisting his worn baseball bat over the other, he dashed down the street, calling to Tommy over his shoulder, "Hurry up, dickhead!"
"Tubbo, wait-!" Tommy shouted back as he and Ranboo followed suit, jogging down the sidewalk behind Tubbo to the safety of their friend's home.
It was nearly dark by the time the three came to the pale blue house. It sat on the city outskirts, barely safer than the houses on the inside but at least ten times cozier. Tommy rapped on the door raucously, and Ranboo and Tubbo cringed as the sound echoed, definitely alerting the nearby zombies to their presence.
They didn't have time to worry about that, thankfully, as Phil greeted them at the door, looking relieved. "You guys scared the shit out of me," he breathed as he ushered the three teens inside. "You can't just be out wandering and knocking on strangers' doors,"
"Phil, if you were a stranger, this would be very awkward right now," Ranboo said, kicking his boots off and shoving them in the corner.
"I'm- oh my god, you know what I mean," he replied exasperatedly. "Be careful out there, is all. I don't know what I'd do if you guys got hurt."
Silence fell over the group as they heard the subtext of Phil's words. 'If you guys got hurt again.' Ranboo peered over at Tubbo, whose hand had subconsciously drifted up to trace the burn scars that outlined his face. Ranboo's own hand had floated up to touch his bruised arm carefully. He wouldn't tell Phil about it. Not yet.
Coughing, Ranboo broke the silence as he drew his hand away from his injury and undid the clasp on his cloak. "Welp, uh, I'm gonna sit down if anyone else wants to come," he invited, plopping the heavy fabric in a pile with the rest of his things and wandering into the living room.
The fireplace was burning, and Wilbur laid next to the orange flames, half-lidded eyes staring sleepily at the ceiling. He blinked and sat up as Ranboo entered the room, still alone as Tubbo and Tommy followed Phil into the kitchen, discussing something Ranboo couldn't quite hear. "Hey, Rhombus," Wilbur smiled, holding back a yawn. "How goes it?" His eyes darted briefly to the yellow sweater Ranboo wore.
Ranboo shrugged, removing his mask and catching the brief smile that flickered across Wilbur's face. "Could be better, I suppose," he replied.
"I think you said that last time," Wilbur noted.
"Yeah, well, it's been hard to be great recently," Ranboo said, barely audible.
Wilbur nodded sagely nonetheless, shuffling away from the fire to sit on the carpet in front of the couch. "You're not wrong," he agreed. There was a moment of silence as Wilbur looked up at Ranboo, who sat stiffly on the sofa, clutching his arm lightly and staring blankly into the fire. "You all good?"
"Y-yeah, I'm fine," Ranboo answered, blinking himself out of his stupor and brushing a strand of hair from his eyes. "Just- pain is all. Nothing a little sleep can't fix," he insisted. Ranboo could see the doubt in Wilbur's eyes, and it made his stomach churn. He wasn't sure why. "I'm alright, seriously," he repeated. "I'd let you know if I wasn't, you know that."
"Right." Disbelief laced Wilbur's words, but he didn't pry, nor did Ranboo want to offer an explanation.
Wilbur opened his mouth to say something else, but he didn't get the chance as Tubbo peeped his head into the room. "Dinner's ready big man, if you're interested," he said, jabbing a thumb behind him towards the kitchen, the comforting smell of potato soup wafting through the house. "You too, Wilbur, I guess," he snickered.
Ignoring the lighthearted banter between the other two, Ranboo inhaled deeply, savoring the scent. It smelt like home, he thought, a small smile painting his face. Wordlessly, Ranboo padded through the doorway into the kitchen, where Techno, Tommy, and Phil sat around the table waiting.
"There you are," Techno greeted him, reaching for the soup spoon. "We were starvin' to death in here, c'mon man," he joked.
Ranboo huffed a laugh through his nose. "Sorry about that," he apologized, running a hand through his hair. "Been a long day." He caught Tubbo's eye, who agreed with a slight head nod.
"It's alright, mate," Phil assured him. He held the bowls as Techno ladled soup into them carefully. "We get it." Phil handed him a bowl, steaming and cozy, and Ranboo gratefully accepted. "Just hang out for a while, alright?"
The six of them sat around the small kitchen table, eating together and listening to the radio as songs old and new alike filled the air. Tubbo and Wilbur sang duets, and Techno and Tommy made increasingly strange parodies as Phil and Ranboo watched with amusement.
Tommy and Techno were mid-song about Phil when the music suddenly stopped, harsh static cutting through the joyful atmosphere like a knife.
"WE INTERRUPT YOUR PROGRAM FOR AN EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT," the prerecorded sample recited. "ATTENTION, ALL CITIZENS OF NEW LENSLING COUNTY: A MANDATORY EVACUATION IS BEGINNING TOMORROW AT 11 AM. ALL PERSONS LIVING IN THE CITY MUST RELOCATE BEFORE THE END OF THE WEEK."
The once bright mood at the dinner table quickly sank, dread and icy cold fear replacing the warm feeling of family and safety.
"What the fuck?" Tommy murmured, turning the radio volume up to the max.
"COUNTY OFFICIALS WILL BE INSPECTING HOMES TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE HAS EVACUATED. SAFE CITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: ATTSTONE, WORWICKE, LANGSTEDSHIRE, SHANTOWSEA, AND SOUTH BIRBED. FURTHER QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AT-"
Wilbur turned off the radio with a harsh slam. "Great," he growled. "What the fuck do we do now? Surely they don't expect us to just be happy with this!"
"All our shit is still at home!" Tubbo added, agitated. "There's no way we have time to grab it tonight, and it'll take ages to get back to the apartment in the morning!" He grumbled. "This is bullshit!"
"Calm down, you two," Phil cut in, trying to curb the anger bubbling in the air. "We'll figure something out, okay?"
Tubbo and Wilbur had the same disgruntled look in their eyes, jaws set and eyes shadowed. "Fine," Tubbo muttered, standing up to look at Phil. "Tell us then, what's the plan? Do you even know what's going to happen to us?"
"Tubbo," Ranboo warned. "Calm down. We're all figuring it out as a group."
Tubbo folded his arms and sat heavily in his chair, still irritated.
Techno was already rifling through his things for a map of the county. "The safe zones were all cities nearby," he said, seemingly to himself. He rolled a thin map out over the table, careful to avoid the drops of soup. "Attstone, Worwicke, et cetera. The closest one to us would be-"
"South Birbed, innit?" Tommy finished, shoving his now-empty soup bowl out of the way to lean over the table. "It's 'bout a week-long trip on foot," he explained. "We could be there in no time if all of us leave first thing in the morning,"
"Hold on, Tommy," Techno stopped him as Tommy took a breath to say something else. "One of us needs to stay behind and let someone know where we're goin', right Phil?"
"They need to send a message to all the safe zones to tell 'em how many people to prepare for," Phil confirmed. "I'll stay behind, tell whoever may stop by that the six of us are heading south, yeah?"
Ranboo and the other four shared a look of hesitance, none of them quite sure how to respond. "I don't want to leave you behind, Phil," Ranboo admitted. "Are you 100 percent sure you'll be alright on your own?"
Phil waved a hand dismissively. "You don't have to worry about me, mate. I'll catch up with you all in no time."
Phil's promise sent a wave of relief around the room. Wilbur and Tubbo looked more at ease, and Ranboo, Techno, and Tommy all breathed a sigh. "We should probably pack up our shit, I guess." Tommy rose to his feet, stretching and yawning. "Early start tomorrow, aye?"
They all stood, some more hesitant than others, and dispersed to their respective sleeping quarters. Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo trekked upstairs single file, carrying their bags, weapons, and everything in between into the large bedroom silently. It wasn't like they hadn't done this same thing before, but something about knowing it might be the last time for a while made the mood feel more somber than usual.
Tommy flopped onto the large, pillowy mattress with a sigh. "I can't believe we're being fuckin' kicked out," he muttered crossly, a change in mood from the upbeat leader persona he'd put on downstairs (probably to prove himself to the adults). "And to South Birbed of all places!"
Ranboo snorted, his eyes crinkling up with laughter. "What did South Birbed ever do to you?" He asked, watching as Tubbo crawled onto the bed next to Tommy.
"I dunno, it just seems like a shit city," Tommy shrugged.
Tubbo smacked him with a pillow, and Tommy yelped in protest, shouting a string of curse words at his assailer. "Mercy, mercy!" Tommy begged as he and Tubbo began a pillow fight.
Ranboo looked on with mild intrigue but didn't join the party. Instead, he slipped away from the other two into the bathroom and shut the door.
He pried his gloves off his hands and rinsed his face, desperate to clean the dirt and grime from his forehead and fingers. Ranboo stared at himself in the mirror, watching beads of water run down his face. He looked like a mess, he thought briefly, before drying the water with a towel. He winced, feeling a shock of pain flow up his arm as he blotted the water with the scratchy cloth. Deftly, he rolled up his sweater sleeve to examine his arm.
A little bit of broken skin, Ranboo noticed. He caught sight of a few small indents, which he assumed were from fingernails digging into his arm when the zombie had grabbed him. He made a mental note to keep checking the wound before it got infected and rolled his sleeve down again.
With a newly clear head, he reentered the bedroom quietly. Tommy and Tubbo had already claimed the bed, he noted, as the two laid on either half of the mattress, Tommy's head and Tubbo's feet on one end and the other way around at the foot of the bed. Ranboo sighed as he realized he'd have to sleep on the floor. Swiftly, he snagged a pillow from the bed, careful not to wake the already-snoring Tubbo, and dragged a throw blanket from a basket to sleep beneath. Begrudgingly, he laid on his makeshift bed, staring at the ceiling.
He had never noticed it before, but shining overhead was a galaxy of artificial stars, blinking and twinkling. The question of "why" briefly crossed Ranboo's mind as he stared at the bright little shapes above him. It made sense, he supposed, since the room belonged to Wilbur years before he, Tommy, or Tubbo ever stayed there. Still, he thought, it was surprising that Phil had kept them up there after all this time. Maybe he wanted to keep a little piece of the good times with him.
Ranboo felt a pit form in his stomach as he thought about the future (or possible lack thereof). The uncertainty made his stomach churn as he yawned, eyelids drooping. Thoughts of traveling and an image of the artificial galaxy were fresh in his mind as he rolled over that night, shutting his eyes and letting the darkness of sleep wash over him at last.

dreammate
Dream x gn!reader Summary: Tommy’s curious to know more about Dream’s personal life and ends up ‘meeting’ his s/o. Warnings: none i think.. lmk if you find any! Just fluff-ish tbh. A/N: hi i uh usually dont write so feedback is more than welcome, feel free to correct me if i made any mistakes! If cc’s are uncomfortable i’ll delete it, but that goes without saying :)
Being a content creator has it’s perks. Such as being able to meet new people, meeting people you admire and enjoyed watching way before you became a streamer yourself. Or the fact that you can just hang out with your friends and the chat and even make some money off of it. You often get invited to hang out with people on Among Us, Rust, Minecraft, you name it. One of the biggest benefits of being a content creator was being a part of the Dream SMP. You were a reacurring character and the chat loved you. Your persona would often show up in fanart, alongside Sapnap’s, George’s, Ranboo’s and the other members. There would often be speculations on you dating one of the guys on the SMP. Funny enough, they never expected it to be Dream.
You had been dating for a month before making it official and are currently nearing the 3 month mark. The two of you decided to keep it quiet for the time being and had only told Sapnap and George.
After a long and fun weekend at his home in Florida, you decided to hang out on his bed, watching some tiktoks or whatnot. Your boyfriend was sitting behind his setup, getting the game started. It wasn’t long until his laughter filled the room. Every couple of minutes he would look over his shoulder to check up on you.
Curiousity got the best of you. What was he laughing about? You opened Twitch, and ofcourse, Clay wasn’t streaming. But Tommy was. You watched as Clay’s character hit Tommy’s, accidentally killing the boy.
“Call child services! Dream has killed a child!” Quackity yelled over VC. Tommy walked back to get his stuff.
“Dream, I am not liking this attitude of yours.” You heard your boyfriend chuckle as he was walking around the map. You looked over at his monitor as Tommy’s character walked into his screen. “Dream, can I ask you something?”
“Tommy, if you want to know where babies-”
“SHUT UP BIG Q I KNOW WHERE BABIES COME FROM.” His high pitched laugh and yelling making you tune your volume down.
“Go ahead Tommy, what do you want to ask?” Clay asked calmy.
“Why I was wondering, I have met Mother Dream and Drista, do you have any more family I can talk to? Can I meet Father Dream?” Tommy was trying really hard to look as serious as possible asking Dream.
“My family isn’t here right now.” Dream stated, looking at you with a sneaky grin on his face.
“Oh, alright then, do you- do you like being alone Dream?” You can’t help but chuckle at Tommy always ending his scenteces with ‘Dream’, making it sound so personal and serious.
“I don’t mind being alone, but I’m actually not alone right now, Tommy.” Your eyes focus on the man sitting behind his setup, Tommy jumping around on the monitor behind him. “Baby, would you like to talk to Tommy?” Clay asked, looking at you.
“Dream, who did you call baby? Is there a uhh Drartner ... no uh a dreammate?” Tommy stared into his camera and his chat was going wild.
Dream laughs as he signs for you to come over. He mutes himself from the VC. “Are you sure about this?” You ask him, walking over to where he’s sitting. “I am, are you?” You nodded. He moves the chair back a bit and motions for you to sit down on his lap.
“Alright Tommy, here’s my uhh, Dreammate, be nice to them.” You had put your phone down to still be able to see Tommy’s stream. He looked so impatient, yelling to his chat.
“Wait, WAIT- guys wait.” He quickly typed into the game chat for the other players online to join your VC for some ‘action’.
Clay mutes himself again. “So Tommy is ordering some of the guys to join the VC, it’s just Tubbo, Ranboo, Callahan and Quackity, so no worries.” He hands you the headphones and you adjust them, being able to hear Tommy loud and clear.
“Alright Tommy, what’s up?” Ranboo asked, walking up to the two of you.
“DREAM, Dream can they hear me? Ranboo, Dream is introducing us to his Dreammate.” You type into the game chat that you can hear him.
“What’s a Dreammate?” Tubbo asks, joining your little group.
“Well, appearantly Dream has been keeping a secret from us-” You softly giggle.
“What’s he saying?” Your boyfriend asks, wrapping his arms around your waste.
“Hello? Hello? Are you there, Dream’s Dreammate?” Tommy’s character hits Clay’s, so you take the mouse and hit his back.
“Well hello there, Tommy.” You see the boy’s expression change from confusion to a somewhat dissapointed face.
“Oh hello, Y/N, it’s been a while” He continues hitting you and you run away from him “I actually thought Dream was gonna introduce me to his Dreammate. You got me there, real funny.” Clay put in the earbuds connected to your phone so he could listen to what Tommy was saying. “Who would want to date Dream anyways- oh, well chat, alright alright so you ALL want to -” The boy sighs, being way too hyper for the conversation.
“Tommy, I-I am dating Dream.”
“No, the prank wasn’t funny, Y/N. Dream has failed you, I expected better from him.” The bitterness in his voice is truly impressive.
“Stop killing me Tommy!” It’s your turn to thaunt him, getting out your sword and running after him.
“I think they’re serious Tommy, congrats you two!” Ranboo says, helping you kill Tommy.
“Does that mean you’ll be coming back to the SMP, Y/N? We never finished that thing we were working on.“ Tubbo asks ever so sweetly. “Thanks Ranboo and yes ofcourse Tubbo, I’ll be joining soon.”
<Callahan> poor fundy
Dream’s famous kettle laugh echoed through the room when he read the messege. “Dream, can you hear me, Dream?” Tommy asks, being able to hear Clay laugh on VC.
“Yes Tommy I can hear you.” He says, burrying his face in your neck.
“I- I have a question.” It fell silent for a bit. “WHY” Tears start rolling over your cheeks from laughter.
Once Dream catches his breath he finally comments. “Tommy you love women right?” You face your boyfriend, who is trying to keep a straight face.
Tommy looks straight in the camera. “What a dumb question, all I talk about is my love for women. Do you ever listen to me, Dream? It’s almost like you’re my boyfriend.” He made a disgusted face before cracking up again.
“Oh god” You whisper as you shake your head. Clay presses a kiss on your neck. “Well Tommy, I feel the same way about Y/N.” An ‘aw’ left your mouth before Tommy made a barfing sound.
“So are you gonna marry them?” Tommy truly does feel like an annoying brother sometimes. Your eyes scan the chat while Clay does the talking. A couple of shipnames and questions pop up between all the emotes.
“I don’t know yet, Tommy. Maybe someday.” He said, hugging you a little thighter. You softly press a kiss on his forehead.
“Alright, cringe. I have no further questions.” Tommy states. “I’m gonna go back to building my tower. Goodbye.”
“Bye Tommy.” Clay said as he left the game. “Nice talking to you!” You added, taking the headphones off. “That wasn’t half as bad huh?”
Ah, yet again the Dream SMP is trending.

A Thousand Little Moments (That Help Me Heal)
Requested by @alphamoonlunala9391 "Can you do more parts of What Could Have Been Was Good, But What We Have Now Is Better please and maybe make the character a god hybrid reader"
and sort of @noctis-yeye
This is the Part three of You Didn't Need Us Then, We Don't Need You Now and What Could Have Been Was Good, But What We Have Now Is Better
Quackity x reader; Past mentioned Sapnap x karl x quackity x reader
trigger warnings: some swearing, existentialism? kind of? (Charlie being like, 'everything turns to dust so whats the point')
premise: it's like i said in the part two, its just gonna be a bunch of little scenes that happen in the two year gap, plus the wedding that would then happen at the end of part two for the last scene (no I don't really know how proper weddings go, all the ones i've been too were ~weird~ soooo...)
{to the asker who actually went in my inbox to request, I can't make reader a hybrid because its too late in the series to really change it}
{snowchester las nevadas conflict- we don't know her}
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"(y/n) from Las Nevadas?"
You glanced up from your work to find Charlie at your office door, "Yeah Charlie?"
"This place 'ill be around a while right? No- no explosions like L'manburg?" He slid into the room and dropped into one of the chairs in front of your desk.
You frowned, "How do you know about L'manburg?"
"I told you- I move slow, but I've seen a lot. L'manburg was nice- but then it was gone."
You sighed, "I know... I was there- all three times. L'manburg was my home before Las Nevadas."
"If you and Quackity from Las Nevadas want me to stay here- which it sounds like you do, I want to know: Las Nevadas will be around for a while, right? I don't want it to go to dust like everything else does."
"As much as we can help it Charlie," You glanced down at your desk, "I'm not gonna let another home get destroyed."
~~
You sighed, running a hand through your hair as you made it to the top of the needle.
Purpled was still sitting near the edge of the deck where he'd stayed after you'd finished the tour. It seemed the only difference now, was that behind him the sky was dark, and speckled with stars.
"You got room for company kid?" You asked quietly.
He nodded, and you quickly moved to sit next to him, "So what do you think of the place?"
"'s alright." He mumbled.
"Charlie wasn't enough to scare you off?" You chuckled.
He shook his head, "Nah... Where did you find that guy?"
"Sneakin around one of the restaurants." You laughed.
"He's insane."
"Yeah no, probably." You sighed.
Purpled got quiet again, turning to look back out over the city, "Why'd you offer me a spot here? You said it wasn't a job, so why actually offer it to me?"
You frowned, thinking for a moment, "I guess- ever since L'manburg- I don't want to see anyone else suffering on this server, especially not any more of you kids. You deserve to have a place, and people looking out for you Purpled."
"You keep saying that- but why here? How come you two are the only ones that say that?" He snapped.
Shifting to lean against the railing, you sighed again, "Did you hear about Kinoko Kingdom, when it was founded?"
"Yeah. Karl, Sapnap and George did that, didn't they?"
You nodded, "You know we were supposed to marry Sap and Karl once, Quackity and I."
"Really?" He scoffed.
"Really. Cause we'd been dating, and they'd been dating, and then Karl started hitting on Quackity, and in retaliation Sapnap was hitting on me- anyway, it felt perfect and shit right?"
"Mhhhm."
"Well then one day, right before doomsday, Karl up and disappears, and of course we're worried, but there's a war on. So once its all over, Q was devastated, cause everything he built in El Rapids was gone. He'd always wanted to just make a place for us. He disappeared too.
"Sapnap and I split up to look for them, and planned to meet up here. But- they never turned up. One day we come to find out, they went and started there own place-" You stopped, clearing your throat, and shaking your head, "They abandoned us. I don't want anyone else getting abandoned. This server tried to abandon you Purp, but I'm not gonna let them."
When you looked back over at him, there was a small smile on his face, "...Thank you..."
~~
"(y/n)! Guess who showed up today!"
You chuckled as you looked up to find Quackity leading Fundy toward where you sat at one of the tables under the needle with Charlie, "Fundy! It's so good to see you!"
"Hey (y/n)!" He smiled.
"Hello Fundy From L'manburg!" Charlie greeted excitedly.
Fundy's smile seemed to droop, "How did you know that...?"
"He knows a lot more than most people think," You said apologetically, "Anyway, how have you been?"
"Pretty alright, pretty alright." He nodded, sitting down at one of the open seats as Quackity plopped down next to you.
"That's good. It's good to see you're doing better!"
He nodded, "How have things been going over here?"
"Pretty good," Quackity grinned, "It'll be great to have another official partner on property. So far the only big one we've got living here is Purpled."
"You got Purpled to come here? Wow." Fundy chuckled.
You smiled, "Yeah, I think he's starting construction on a new UFO soon. You got any big plans for being here?"
"I'm not sure yet- but I'll figure it out," He smiled, "I've got a feeling that this place will be better than L'manburg ever could have been."
~~ "Babe, I made breakfast!"
You yawned, slowly sitting up at Quackity's call, "What kind of breakfast?"
"Pancakes!"
"And Purpled From Las Nevadas taught me to make the orange juice!" Charlie exclaimed from the kitchen.
You chuckled, getting up and tugging down the sleeves of one of Quackity's long since stolen hoodies.
Out in the kitchen, Charlie was setting a pitcher of orange juice on the table as Purpled set out plates, and Fundy dug around in a cabinet looking for syrup.
You moved over to where Quackity was flipping the last of the pancakes, wrapping your arms around his waist, "Good morning."
"Good morning babe." He chuckled.
You pressed a kiss to his shoulder, ignoring the overly exaggerated gaging noise Purpled made, "Keep it to yourself!"
"Keep what to myself Purpled from UFO?" Charlie asked.
"Not you idiot!" You could hear the eye roll in his voice.
Fundy laughed, sitting up and banging his head on the cabinet.
You smiled into Quackity's back, listening to the half chaos behind you happily.
~~ "Hey Ranboo!" You greeted cheerfully as he entered the office, "What brings you here?"
"Hi (y/n), I just wanted to ask you something."
"Mhhm." You nodded as he sat down.
"Well it's Tubbo and Tommy, I'm trying to help them with all the L'manburg Schlatt, Wilbur, stuff-" He broke off with a sigh, "I just don't know what I'm doing. They need help but- I don't even know how to deal with my own issues."
You frowned, "Is it nightmares? About the festival?- or Tommy's exile?"
"Yeah... how did you guess that?"
"I know a thing or two about nightmares," You sighed, "they don't really go away like that. You aren't doing anything wrong by not knowing what to do."
Ranboo stared down at his hands, "I just feel like I should be helping them more."
"You know what helped everyone around here? Creating a home- having a place or people, that helped Fundy and Purpled, and kind of Charlie? I still don't know his deal- Anyway! just be there for them, hell, bring them here, we'll all be here for you guys."
He looked up suddenly, "Why would you guys be- why would you offer us that? We're not in your allegiance."
"I know. But I don't think any of you kids deserve what this server gives you. Bring them here or not, you all have a place here if you want it." You assured him.
"Really?"
"Of course."
~~ "AYYYY Big Q!"
Tommy's yell cut through the semi loud sounds of the crowded apartment.
"Tommy! You came!" Quackity exclaimed, "Hey Tubbo! Hey Ranboo! And is that Michael?"
The piglin squealed, running past him into the apartment, toward Purpled's dog.
He laughed, "Well, come in guys, Fundy's getting the movie thing ready, and Purp and Charlie are getting snacks and things."
Ranboo followed Tommy and Tubbo into the room as Charlie came from the kitchen, carrying the bowel of chips Purpled had told him to bring out, "Hey! It's Tubbo Underscore Beloved From Snowchester! And Ranboo Beloved Underscore From {redacted}! And Tomathy Careful Danger Kraken Innit from L'manburg!"
Purpled, who'd stopped in the kitchen doorway, "Did he just make a bleeped out fucking noise with his mouth?"
"Yeah- yeah no he did." Fundy confirmed.
"Your middle name is Kraken?" You asked, shuffling out with a stack of blankets.
Tommy nodded, "Yup."
You laughed, "That's- kind of ridiculous, why would Philza saddle you with that?"
"Well 'es not my dad is 'e?" Tommy scoffed.
"Wait seriously?" Quackity asked.
Tubbo laughed, "You really thought...?"
You shook your head, "Whatever... Fundy what's the status on that movie?"
"I'm almost done." He reported.
"Right, everyone get comfortable then." You said, dropping the pile of blankets you had been carrying.
Quackity plopped down onto the couch, pulling you to sit with him as Tubbo and Ranboo began to make a nest of blankets between the arm chair where Purpled sat and the couch.
Charlie passed around snacks and Fundy finished setting up the projector as the move began.
~~ You sighed, turning and pressing your face into Quackity's shoulder, "Thank you."
It had been a week since Karl and Sapnap had left Las Nevadas, and your fiancé had insisted that you take time off of managing things.
"For what baby?" He asked softly.
"Everything. I love you."
"I love you too." He murmured.
You smiled softly, looking up at him, "How long until that wedding?"
~~ "You ready?" Charlie asked.
You turned to him, looking up from the paper on which you'd written your vows, "Yeah... I think so."
He grinned, "Let's go then!"
You nodded as he looped his arm through yours and you started toward the doorway.
"Ladies and Gentlemen of Las Nevadas!" He announced, "Here we go!"
You chuckled as you started down the isle with him, grinning at Quackity, who stood, looking already close to tears.
Purpled, Fundy, Sam, Tubbo, Tommy and Michael stood in various places around the alter, Foolish glancing down at the book he held open.
As you reached the alter, he started, "Dear people, we are gathered here today to witness the sort of? holy matrimony of (y/n) (y/l/n) and Alex Quackity. If anyone here has any objections to this union speak now, or hold your peace."
There was a silence, Michaels tiny snort being the only sound before Foolish continued, "This journey, which you have started together, will continue on now, as you walk, side by side, step by step, together, now joined in such a way that you can't really get rid of each other without a divorce."
Laughs and chuckles filled the wedding hall as Quackity shook his head, "Nope, you're stuck with me babe."
You laughed, "Good."
"Now, would you recite your vows?"
You pulled the paper from your pocket, "I'm going first. So, ever since we started seeing each other, we thought it would be you and me forever. Even after everything we went through, and even after Sapnap and Karl, its still you and me. I would say that its just you and me, but," You looked around at everyone,
"It's not just you and me, it's you and me and these guys. When we started this place, I knew that it would be difficult, especially with all the hurt that the SMP caused us. But, even as I was helping everyone here heal, you were helping me. Because you helped me find this family, and you- you gave me a thousand little moments that made me feel again.
A thousand moments that helped me heal."

Crush
Charlie Slimecicle x Reader [she/her used]
It had been hours since y/n had started her stream. At the beginning of it she’d been working on the origins SMP and grinding at gathering supplies and resources while everyone else was off doing other things. A few times someone had popped onto the VC she sat in, Niki had talked while eating dinner and Ranboo had came to recount his day, but otherwise she had remained alone in the beginning.
But it had been several hours since then. Now it was 3 going on 4 in the morning. She sat curled up on her gaming chair, her eyelids just barely staying open. She was exhausted, but she was determined to stay awake until someone else started streaming. To pass the time, y/n had been interacting with chat and reading aloud donations.
“Hello?” A voice came through her headphones and she jumped, nearly falling out of her seat. “y/n?”
“Oh! Philza!” He chuckled a bit. Her voice sounded light and she began to yawn halfway through her sentence. “How nice to see you. What are you doing up?”
“Well it’s roughly noon for me and I was about to start streaming.”
“Ah. Of course.” She began to tap at some buttons, readying to move around her audience.
“Have you been awake for long?”
“Yeah. But I had a few people visit me.” As the notification of Phil going live dropped, she sent everyone over with a wave. “Niki and Ran came by.”
“Aw you sound disappointed.”
“Well I wanted somebody to come by but I guess he was too busy.”
Philza laughed again. “Yeah? And who’s somebody?”
In her stupor she giggled and winked towards a camera that wasn’t on anymore. “I can’t tell you who I have a crush on.”
The man froze, watching his chat go by a mile a minute. They kept throwing names around, even if they didn’t make sense, and he knew this wouldn’t end up any where good if it progressed. “Is it alright if we talk about this later? Why don’t you get some sleep.”
She yawned and stretched. She slowly went to get out of her chair. “Alright dad. Goodnight. I love you.”
“Love you too.” The discord call made the familiar noise of someone disconnecting and y/n turned off her display. She went and slunk into her bed, nesting underneath the covers, and quickly drifted to sleep.
———
y/n woke up a few hours later. As she sat up the first thing she did was reach for her phone to see a missed call from Ranboo. She went to call back and he picked up almost immediately.
“You are so dumb.”
She groaned and wiped at the sleep in her eyes. “Can I be awake for five minutes first.”
“No actually. You’re trending on Twitter.”
She squinted, trying to recall anything. “Did I do something bad? Was it last night or....?”
“It wasn’t like. Bad. But it was last night. You told Phil on live that you have a crush on someone.”
She paused, feeling her face grow warm with embarrassment. “Did I say who it was?”
“No you didn’t.” She sighed and felt herself relax a bit. “But they’re trying to figure it out. You didn’t make it very hard.”
“Well I didn’t say a name.”
“Yeah so you let them pick from the six men your age who have been on this server. Like I said you’re dumb.”
She sat up and got out of her bed, letting Ranboo sit next to her on speaker. She went to her desk and booted up her computer. She pulled up twitch on one monitor and Twitter on another. Loading up the streaming site, she sorted through all of us Phil’s new clips to look for last night. She found it quickly and began playing it.
“Have you been awake long?”
“Yeah. But I had a few people come visit me.... Niki and Ran came by.”
“Aw you sound disappointed.”
“Well I wanted somebody to come by but I guess he was too busy.”
Philza’s laugh echoed through her monitor’s speakers. “Yeah? And who’s that somebody?”
“I can’t tell you who I have a crush on.”
The clip ended with Philza glancing wide eyed between the camera and his computer monitors. y/n sighed and looked over at her other monitor. Her twitch name was trending. She clicked on the tag and scrolled through countless tweets of clips of her and other boys from the Origins SMP. There were ones of her and Jack, her and Charlie, her and Wilbur, her and Sneeg, and even her and Tommy or Tubbo. She took the time to respond to ones of her and the younger boys, emphasizing that if anyone was going to speculate anything it wasn’t going to be with her and children.
“Ran, what do I do?”
“Ignore it? It’s not like you have an actual crush on any one right?”
She paused, chewing the inside of her cheek. “Ran..”
“Oh! Oh my god!” He started laughing and y/n could hear him fall from his chair onto the floor. He kept laughing as he got up. “Oh please tell me who it is-“
“No! I’m an adult! I don’t have crushes on boys.”
“Oh that is fake!” He kept laughing and y/n rested her head in her hands. “You know you might as well tell me who it is.”
“Yeah fucking right.”
“I’ll black mail you.”
“No you won’t!”
“I’ll show Tubbo your number and he’ll leak it.”
“To who.”
“The discord.”
y/n rolled her eyes. “Yeah yeah yeah. When are you getting on.”
“An hour-ish.”
“I’ll see you then.”
“Alright byeeeeeee.”
Ranboo ended the call and y/n sighed. If she told Ranboo who she liked, he’d eventually tell Tubbo, who’d eventually tell Tommy, until he told someone and so on so forth. They were teenage boys. It wasn’t a very lucrative group. And Tommy seemed to record with Charlie almost every week. It seemed impossible to get by without disrupting something.
y/n went on to busy herself around her home for the next hour or so, doing some cleaning and other chores that had to be done. When she finished, she made her way to her pc to begin recording. She wasn’t planning on a live stream today, but a recording session would still do her channel good.
As she sat to boot up Mojang, she pulled up discord on her second monitor. She saw the kids already in a call; Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo.
“Hey boys.” She slipped on her headphones as she entered the call, but they were all yelling.
“DON’T YELL AT ME.”
“I’L YELL AT WHOEVER I WANT WHEN I KNOW I’M RIGHT.”
“ARE YOU TOMMY? ARE YOU RIGHT?”
“Hi y/n.” Both boys stopped yelling as Tubbo pointed out that she had arrived. “Ranboo’s live by the way.”
“Thanks Tubbo. Are you guys on origins?”
“Yep!”
“Great, I’ll be on in a sec.” As she opened the world, she spawned somewhere she didn’t remember. It was dark around her, like she was swallowed by obsidian. “Uhhh, boys? I might be stuck.”
“I told you! I told you I was right! Chat tell Ranboo he’s an idiot!” Tommy started yelling again as Ranboo tried to tell him to shut up.
“That doesn’t explain why I’m surrounded by obsidian. I don’t have a pick!”
“Well, y/n,” she looked over to her discord call to see all the boys had their cameras on now. They all sat with their hands crossed while wearing sunglasses. Ranboo had his full mask on. Meaning he probably had camera on for his stream. Tubbo cleared his throat as he kept talking. “We have some questions for you.”
“If I answer can I get out of here?”
“If you answer honestly.” Ranboo leaned forwards a bit. “You told Philza Minecraft you had a crush on someone, correct?”
“Yeah. Sure. Might I add you’re all immature?”
“Is this crush, a man? Hmm?” Tommy tipped his sunglasses downwards slightly.
“Yes. How many more questions?”
“You’re not done. Is it someone on this server?”
“Does that matter Tubbo?”
“YES.” All the boys shouted in unison.
“Jeez fine. He has played on multiple servers, this could be one of them.”
Tommy slammed his fist on his desk. “HONESTY.”
“YES. HE IS.”
Ranboo gave a fake evil chuckle. “So it’s someone we know. A man we know. A gamer we know. One of us.”
“Yeah yeah.” y/n quickly pulled up twitch on her third monitor, making sure that he wasn’t watching Ranboo’s stream.
“Now y/n. I’m muted on my stream right now. Is it Wilbur?”
“Uhh…” He was there. He was watching the stream. Whatever she answered, he’d know.
“Wilbur! It’s Wilbur!” The boys started cheering as she realized that she didn’t quite answer. But as long as Charlie didn’t know the truth.
“Yeah. Can I come out now?” She watched charlie’s name disappear from the chat. In her game, Ranboo’s character came over to set her free from the obsidian.
“Thank you for your honesty.”
“Yeah no worries. I’ll see you later boys.” She logged out of the server and scooted away from the monitors. She knew she made a bigger problem for herself.
She walked over to her bedside table, taking her phone off the charge, and went to face time Wilbur. He picked up quickly, holding the phone extremely close to his face.
“y/n!”
“Are you streaming?”
“No not at the moment.”
“Great because I fucked something up.”
“Oooooh tell me.” Wilbur propped up his phone in front of him and took a drink of something in a mug.
“So the children- did you see the clip from Phil’s stream?”
“Absolutely. Continue.”
“They went and cornered me into telling who my crush is. And they said you and I was distracted so they assumed you-“
“Is it me?”
“No fuck off. But now everyone thinks it’s you and even worse, the actual person was watching! He thinks I have a crush on you and I don’t know if that’s good or bad.”
Wilbur nodded. “Well who is?”
y/n pursed her lips, thinking for a moment before admitting the truth out loud for the first time. “Charlie.”
Wilbur froze, then scrambled to pick up his phone. “I have to go.”
“WILBUR NO.”
The line went dead from Wilbur’s end and y/n groaned, chucking her phone against her pillows. She rubbed at her eyes with her palms, deciding she might as well continue recording.
y/n logged back onto the Origins server, keeping herself out of the active discord calls. She could see that the three boys were still in a call, and Wilbur was talking with Philza. She rolled her shoulders back, getting into the mindset to record.
“Hey everybody!” y/n went on start the recording, talking mostly to herself about finishing construction on her house. It was quite a tall house, built of mostly stone and cobble, but she was still proud of it. The bottom two floors were reserved for storage and mining, and there was one room of entirely water for Niki. The top floor was a large spread patio frames in by dark oak fencing with a glass roof surrounded by dark oak half slabs. Her being a skeleton in the game, having a vantage point helped her snipe enemy mobs. It was also conviennent for attacking creepers to get music discs. She had quite the collection growing already.
“Okay so if I-“ y/n paused, looking over at her other monitor. In the main chat of the Origins SMP server, Wilbur had a sent a singular message.
WilburSoot: dress formally for an event in 2 hours time hosted at the Pubé
y/n took a breath, a bit nervous of what that meant, but still responded to let him know she would be there. In the meantime, she continued on her video, taking the 2 hour period to build herself a lovely garden area and an additional storage area deep underground.
“Thank you everyone! I hope to see you all soon.” She ended the recording and took a breath. There were 15 minutes until Wilbur’s event, and she supposed she had to dress nicer than her pajamas.
A moment later, she returned to her computer wearing her favorite sweater and a comfortable pair of pants. Looking over at discord, she could see most of the Origins SMP members in a discord call together, excluding only Schlatt, Technoblade, and SMajor. She took a breath, thinking for a moment, then clicked into the call.
“Hello?”
“y/n!!!” Jack’s voice screamed through her headphones.
“Sorry he’s a bit loud.”
“OI. AM NOT.”
“Come down mate.” Philza cleared his throat. “y/n. Lovely to have you.”
“Thanks Phil.”
“Before we start, no one’s live at all.”
She paused cueing up the game, her mouse hovering over the server. “Before we start what?”
No one answered. Quietly, she entered the server and made her way to the Pubé.
“Welcome to event of the century.” Ranboo’s character jumped up and down. Every one stood in the Pubé facing her.
“Alright. And what kind of event is this?”
“A ball! With food and drink provided by Philza and music provided by Tommy.” Wilbur’s character ran over to the jukebox in the corner to show her.
“That’s lovely, Will. Was I supposed to be more dressed up?”
“I think you’re perfect as is.” Charlie’s character jumped up and down. She paused, trying to swallow the giddy feeling rising in her chest.
“Let’s begin! Tommy, the music?” Wilbur turned the the teen as he placed the music discs. y/n watched everyone pair off, leaving her and Wilbur alone. Wilbur walked over to her, hitting her playfully.
“Hey Wilbur.” y/n looked over as the two went into a separate call.
“y/n!!! How are you doing? Enjoying the party?”
“Well I haven’t been here very long.” She held her hands closed over her lap. “Wilbur, I feel like there’s something going on here.”
“It’ll be fine. Trust me?”
She sighed, a smile playing at her lips. “Fine.”
“Good.” She could hear the smile in his voice. “Maybe dance around a bit. I’m going to talk with Phil.”
They both left the chat, Wilbur entering a call of just him and Philza and y/n entering the main room. The music was still playing. Everyone seemed to have split off into groups, leaving her alone. She sat by herself, watching everyone mingle about. It was only her in the main call, leaving everyone else in groups, but it was nice. She turned her head to watch her second monitor, seeing Charlie move out of the call with Wilbur and Philza to the main room with herself.
“H-Hey there.” She watched Charlie’s small character bounce over to her. “How’s it hangin?”
“Oh. Uhm. Good I guess. It’s nice to see you back on the server.”
“Yeah I guess I haven’t played in a while. I mean I haven’t streamed that much either but I’ve been recording.”
“That’s nice!”
“Yeah. I mean I’ve been able to watch other streams though.”
y/n thought back Ranboo’s stream earlier in the day, knowing full well Charlie had been watching that one. “Right.”
“We don’t have to talk about it. I mean I know how you feel.”
“Oh. Oh no please tell me Wilbur didn’t say anything.” y/n rubbed at her forehead with the heel of her palms. Convincing the internet she was in love with Wilbur Soot had been a problem in its own, but Wilbur telling Charlie she had a crush on him? “Look Charlie I’m sorry I didn’t want him to tell you it’s just- god you’re so nice and funny and really cute and it’s a stupid crush I never wanted to ruin our friendship. I’m so sorry Charlie.”
The other end of the call was quiet for a moment, but then she head Charlie almost laugh. “You have a crush on me?”
The realization washed over like a tsunami. He’d been talking about the stream, Wilbur hadn’t said anything. “God no wait Charlie-“
“On me? You have a crush on me?”
“Okay now you’re just rubbing it in. I take it back.”
“You can’t take that back!”
“Why not?”
“Because I don’t want you to.”
y/n paused, a smile creeping on her face. “Are you telling me that you have a crush on me over a Minecraft server?”
“You said it first!”
She glanced over at the camera on her computer for a moment. “We could have avoided this the whole time?”
“I- yeah we could’ve.”
y/n giggled, resting her face in her hands. “Is this our first date then?
“No!” She could hear Charlie suck in a breath. “I mean, let me take you somewhere better. Just give me a few days?”
“Days? That’s speedy isn’t it?”
“Okay Maybe weeks. But I’ll take you somewhere. Anywhere. Trust me.”
“Of course.”
She could hear Charlie laugh on the other end of the call. “Until then, how much time do we have to make up for?”
She smiled, settling herself into her chair. “Charlie, more than you could ever think.”

hear me out- one more littleboo but like if they were crying or like going through smt and ranboo just helps//comforts them if that makes sense? GEHDDH okay have a good day :]
THE PEOPLE DEMAND HURT/COMFORT. I SHALL FEED YOU, MY PEOPLE
Also, I wanted to address why I use ‘Ranboo’ in these fics, when referring to the actual CC- We don’t know Ranboo’s real name. I want to respect his wishes and not speculate, because that’s creepy. So, I just use Ranboo. A couple people were asking in my inbox. I know Tubbo said his name was Mark, but that was never confirmed, and, again, I don’t want to speculate on his personal information, that’s WEIRD.
LIttleboo IV: Hurt/comfort or bust.
Pairing: Ranboo x sibling!Reader (gender-neutral)!
Rating: Soft. Bad ending, I’m so sorry (NOT ANGST, IM JUST BAD AT WRITING)
Summary: Being a freshman sucks ass, but Ranboo bought taco bell, it’s all good.
Tumblr media
To say today was a bad day would be an understatement. It was probably the most terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day of your 14-year-old life. The whole day the universe would launch bad thing after bad thing at you, as if it was somehow testing you in your will to deal with bullshit. Like it was asking you ‘What are you willing to put up with today?’
Your answer was ‘Not fucking this.’
You woke up to your brother shaking you softly, telling you the power had gone out and you were both late. For an upperclassman this wasn’t a big deal- But you were a freshman. Your teachers were going to give you absolute hell for being late, and knowing Ranboo was going to get off scot-free made you a little salty. You had to skip breakfast and had to leave with your hair still a bit messy, barely able to comb through it with your fingers while Ranboo drove you both to school.
Then there was a pop quiz first period- English. You were never terrible at english, but being on the topic of the last three chapters of the book you were reading for class- Chapters which you had not read yet- The test had been a little difficult. Not to mention the hunger clawing at your stomach, and the strange fog that was settled about your thoughts.
You thought you could catch a break through second period and lunch, knowing Chemistry would be an easy day and you could grab something good with your brother, but fate had other plans in mind.
During Chemistry, you were tasked with picking a partner and completing an experiment afterthought worksheet, going over the experiment you had done in class the day before. You were paired with the nice girl sat next to you- At least you thought she was nice. As the teacher dismissed the class to begin talking amongst themselves, you turned to start asking her how her experiment went yesterday. You didn’t have a chance to ask, however, as the girl snapped at you harshly. “Don’t even bother! I’m not doing this assignment. Do it on your own.”
Her voice was pitched and loud, and it caused you to wince back. You tilt your head and try to ask her, but she cuts you off by flicking the paper in your direction. It sends both your papers flying, and you try to catch them, but fail miserably and fall out of your chair unceremoniously. As you fall, your foot comes up to counter balance and you nearly kick the girl in the head- Keyword being nearly. You were sure you were able to stop yourself, and hadn’t touched it, but still the girl screeches and begins screaming bloody murder. The teacher comes over to check what’s going on, the girl sobbing and holding her head.
And then she lies through her teeth.
“Sir, she just kicked me! I was just asking about her experiment and she kicks me!”
She’s sobbing dramatically, and though you’re clearly not at fault, considering it was clear you had fallen out of your chair. Even still the teacher sides with her, giving you a short and disappointing talk about violent behaviour in the classroom, ending with “I have no choice but to give you lunch detention and a zero on the assignment.”
You don’t try to argue- Exhaustion was already settling on your body and you didn’t want to just make the situation worse than it already was. The rest of second period dragged on like a snail. You sat awkwardly at your table, twiddling your thumbs and staring at the walls. You could feel eyes boring into the back of your skull with each passing glance at the students. A few whispers that seemed much too loud yet indecipherable hitting your ears, somehow knowing deep in your soul that the other students were whispering about you. By the time the lunch bell rang you were starting to feel tears prick at your eyes as your own thoughts betrayed you.
During lunch detention, you were at the very least allowed your phone. You texted your brother, alerting him that you had lunch detention. He promised to bring you food before your third period began- The gesture brought a smile to your face. Your third period was your favorite, because Ranboo was also taking that class. US History. You were able to push through detention with Philza’s stream, starting a TTS war with Wilbur in the time you were able to watch. Of course, mentioning you were in detention earned you a little rant from Phil, not doing much to better your mood.
When third period came down to bless you, you could feel the tears welling in your eyes at the happy sight of your tall older brother holding a taco bell bag in his hand. You basically tackled him, nearly knocking him to the ground. His arms flew around you for stability, and you gripped the back of his shirt as an involuntary sob came out of your mouth.
Ranboo stared down at you with his brows furrowed with concern, his mouth pulled into a tight frown. He pushed you to the side to allow other students to get into the classroom, and released you from the hug to look you in the face. Your eyes were puffy and your cheeks and nose were red, stray tears still rolling down your cheeks. He wiped one away.
“(Y/N), what happened? Why are you crying?” He asked, your eyes avoiding him. You hated to cry in front of people- But the stress of the day weighed heavy on your shoulders. You had just gotten too excited. When you explained this, Ranboo shook his head. “(Y/N) it’s perfectly okay, you don’t have to apologize.”
He hugged you again, and you hugged him back. After standing there for a moment, the annoying ring of the school bell sounded overheard, alerting you that class was starting.
“Tell you what,” Ranboo beamed at you, picking up the bag of food. “We’re gonna go in there, annoy Mr. Anderson, and eat chalupas until we explode. Sound good?”
You smile and nod your head. God, your older brother is so cool.
---
The rest of the day was smooth as it could be. You spent all of third period messing around with Ranboo- The assignment given for the day forgotten as homework that you would sit down and do together before Ranboo had to stream. You feared that your fourth period, Algebra, would once again break you down into a ball of anxiety and terror. But to your pleasant surprise, you would be watching a movie with a substitute for that class.
Your mood had been significantly raised by the time the bell had rung, releasing you from the confines of the building. You packed your things quietly, the hustle and bustle of an emptying school occupying your senses. You had rushed down through the hallways towards to doors leading to student parking. Ranboo was supposed to be waiting for you at the car.
But before you could reach the door, you felt a hand grip your bag, pulling you backwards. Your feet flew out from under you as you fell to the ground, your bag being ripped from your shoulders. You felt you back collide with the cold, tiled ground, pain shooting through spine.
Shrill giggling sounds from above you. You groan and roll onto your front, staring up at a group of three girls laughing at you. You recognized the one holding your bag from your chemistry class. By the looks of the other two, they were also freshmen. You try to get on your feet, but the girl swings her leg, knocking your hands out from under you. You feel something press against your back.
The girl from your class laughs as she bends down to look at you. “You thought you could get away with that little stunt?” She sneers, her hand grabbing your face. Not able to think of anything else to do, you snap your jaws, nearly biting her. She screeches and backs away.
“DID YOU JUST TRY TO BITE ME?” She screams, her face twisted in disgust. You feel the presume on your back worsen, and you strain your neck to see who was standing on your back. You recognized the guy as a junior on the soccer team. You vaguely recalled the girl mentioned she was dating a guy on the soccer team.
You squirm, freeing your hands from underneath you. Just as you were about to grab the guy’s leg, you hear a familiar voice shout. The three girls in front of you scatter like rats- But the soccer player stays. He turns to look at whoever shouted, his chest puffing out as if he’s prepared for a fight. However the color seems to drain from his face when he sees the mystery person- And he runs away like a dog with its tail between its legs.
As you start to stand, someone grabs you by the shoulders and helps you up. You’re met with the mop of brown hair and concerned gray eyes of your older brother. He helps you to your feet, handing you your bag. You thank him as you throw the bag over your shoulders, giving your older brother a tight hug.
You don’t even realize there were tears in your eyes again, until Ranboo tells you to dry your eyes. “Sorry…” You whisper, hand wiping away the water. “I don’t know why I’m crying.
Ranboo smiles at you again, his hand patting the top of your head. You smile at him too, and he leads you out of the school, asking if you’re alright or if anything hurts. You spend the walk to the car feeling grateful you have someone to help you out like that. It has you smiling to entire ride home.

Would love to see Tubbo and Ranboos reactions to Tommy’s powers since they still kinda sorta don’t believe him and have never seen or even heard of a shifter before
Pt. 2 of Tommy getting trapped in a cave
:)
Sorry i answered this really late!! I really wanted to use this ask for this part of this little short but I didn’t forget about it!!
Tw: none, unless you count minor language.
Tubbo and Ranboo mined their way through think walls of gravel and fallen stone as fast as they could.
“Hello? Tommy? You in there??” Tubbo yelled in a panic. The three teenagers had been planning to go to that same cave to mine later that day until it started to rain. However, Tubbo and Ranboo had seen the massive storm approaching and figured Tommy would want to cancel the plans and go some other time. But they couldn’t get ahold of him. In fact, neither of them could get ahold of anyone who lived with Tommy either. So they just assumed they were supposed to go anyways, but figured they’d just head out after the storm cleared.
They all but panicked when a loud crash sounded from the direction of the cave they were headed towards and shook the ground beneath their feet. They ran towards the cave and were horrified to see the avalanche that blocked the entrance, hoping to god that Tommy wasn’t in that mess, since it looked like there’d be no way for him to get out of it unharmed. Which led them to their current position of screaming for him as they tore through the stone, not knowing if the lack of response was a good or a bad thing.
——————
Tommy was overjoyed to hear Tubbo, and eventually Ranboo along with him. He desperately tried to scream back to them, but from his current position of being three inches tall and stuck in a crack in the ground, he doubted that they could hear him. So he just had to wait for them to get closer.
He had only zoned out for a minute or two before there was suddenly no light in the crevice. Tommy looked up in time to see something move out of the way of the opening, giving him light once more. A shoe. Someone’s shoe. They were close! Without another thought, Tommy was once again screaming their names at the top of his lungs.
——————
Ranboo couldn’t be sure he heard it. It sounded…small almost? Far to quiet to come from his friend, but it sounded undeniably like Tommy. It sounded like Tommy yelling for him and Tubbo. Maybe he was just far away? That would explain why his voice was so quiet. But why did it sound so close then?
He looked around the cave in confusion more before hearing a shout more directed at him.
“RANBOO, LOOK DOWN!!”
The teenager complied and saw a small Tommy jumping and waving his arms up at Ranboo, stuck in a small crevice in the rock.
Ranboo looked in shock, unsure how to react. Of course he was gonna get Tommy out of the crack, but his body didn’t seem to want to move until some part of him rationalized what he was seeing. He had heard the cruel taunts of the other school kids about Tommy’s “powers.” Hell, even Tommy himself had said that he wasn’t sure he was entirely human, but subconsciously Ranboo never believed it. That is, until it was in front of him.
“Tommy…?”
“You found him?! Where is he?!” Tubbo yelled excitedly, running over to Ranboo.
“Sorry to interrupt, but can you get me out of the hole please? I’m a bit stuck, if you haven’t noticed.”
Tubbo looked down instinctively in response to the voice, seeing Tommy’s small form. Holy shit, Tommy wasn’t kidding, he could actually…wait what the hell? How??
Seeing as how Ranboo was still frozen, Tubbo leaned down and stuck his hand in the hole, wanting to see if it was real. He realized it was as he felt impossibly small hands grab his fingers and wrap around them, at which point Tubbo froze. ‘Holy shit my best friend is the size of my finger right now…’
“Alright Tubso…you can pull me up now…” Tommy chuckled awkwardly, snapping Tubbo out of his trance. He was carefully lifted out of the crack and brought up to chest level, at which point Tubbo opened his hand for the shifter to sit flat on, and Tommy was left with two giants staring at him. Not that he minded. He had spent enough time being tiny around Wil, Techno, and Phil that it felt normal, so he did what he always did and just started to talk.
As Tommy rambled on about what had happened to lead him to being stuck in a crack in a caved-in cave, Tubbo and Ranboo both had a common thought, which Ranboo eventually asked out loud, cutting the tiny off. “Tommy, I hate to interrupt, but…what is this? How can you do this? How long have you been able to do this??”
“Uh…forever? As far as I know, at least. And you guys knew about this. I told you, didn’t I?”
“Well yeah but we didn’t think you were being serious!!” Tubbo yelled.
Tommy just snickered before suddenly jumping off of Tubbos hand. His friends panicked momentarily before Tommy was back in front of them full sized less than a second later.
“Maybe you should’ve believed me then, bitch. Anyways, we should go back to my place. I’m tired of being stuck in a cave and my family was supposed to come get me like two and a half hours ago.”
Tommy turned to leave the cave as Tubbo and Ranboo turned to each other, both obviously very confused with what was going on. Tubbo shrugged before yelling for Tommy to wait up, Ranboo following close behind. They might be confused now, but they were sure Tommy could elaborate later, since they knew he was telling the truth now. And though Tommy wouldn’t ever say it, he was relieved that this was how his friends found out. It was better than them seeing him have a mental breakdown in school, at least. And honestly, it was pretty nice sitting in Tubbo’s hand, which he was sure he would never say out loud, but certainly it wouldn’t hurt to be held again by him sometime…

Past and Present
Part 12
Part 13 [CURRENT]
Part 14
DT: @petrichormeraki @applepie1000 @jump-in-the-cadillac @ivorylin @sydneys-sketches
------------
Tommy quickly slapped a hand over his mouth, but it was too late. The group in front of them turned to face the source of the group. Tommy mentally smacked himself upside the head as he pulled Fundy behind him, the Lovely Trio slipping behind him as Kristin and Grian stepped in front of Sam and Puffy, who held the children close. It wasn’t until three familiar faces made their way to him, that he felt like breaking. It wasn’t because Phil was there, concern and relief flooding his face as he looked over Tommy. It wasn’t because Techno was looming over them, facial expression unchanging, only betrayed by the several emotions going through his eyes. It wasn’t because of Ghostbur, because Ghostbur wasn’t floating there. He wasn’t even floating he was standing. There, standing with his hands stuffed into his pockets, stood Wilbur, who was very much alive. The three of them stepped towards the youngest member of their family, the one they missed so dearly, only to stop when he put his hands up in defense, stepping closer to the fox shifter behind him.
“Wilbur, you’re...you’re-”
“Tommy, you’re okay!”
Everyone on the Dream SMP frowned as Tommy made an “eh” noise, making a balancing movement with his hand as he peered back at the group behind him, all who, aside from Sam and Puffy, made similar noises and movements back at them. Much to their embarrassment, they were the only ones who found amusement to it. Regaining his composure, Tommy turned back to Kristin, giving her pleading eyes. She nodded before nudging Grian, who was already moving to pick up Theo. Clem smiled as she climbed into the embrace of her grandmother, hugging her with delight. After being reassured that the children were away from the group, Tommy returned his gaze to the members of his older server.
“Let’s go to a more private space. I would very much like you all more if you don’t start anything unnecessary during my opening.”
Without waiting for a response, Tommy turned and, after ensuring Fundy was safely in front of him, began walking out of the cavern, everyone else following behind. As he waved to guests and Hermits alike, he led the group into one of the larger taverns. Taking out a keycard from behind the automated desk, he patted the robot working there before walking over to a large set of double door. Humming a tune that caught Wilbur’s attention, he inserted the keycard and pushed the doors open, leading the group in. He closed the door after the last two people, who happened to be a very disgruntled Jack and Niki. After everyone was sat down in their own seats, they all exchanged uncertain looks. Finally, Fundy decided it was best to break the silence.
“So, I see the resurrection was successful.”
“Yeah, we managed to get Wilbur bac-”
“You have a son.”
Tommy saw Fundy stiffen beside him as the voice of Wilbur spoke up, quieter than they remembered. Fundy pressed his lips in a thin line as he peered up to his newly revived father. Giving him a little nod Fundy cleared his throat as he scratched the back of his neck.
“Yeah, I do. He’s great, you know. Very smart and fun, sneaky too.”
“Do I know who your significant other is?”
“I wouldn’t call him my significant other, we aren’t together. He was very...the situation was...we didn’t work out. But, yeah, you know him. You all do, actually.”
“Who is it?”
“Dream”
Fundy quickly spoke the name, reeling back as he waited for the expected backlash. Hesitating for a moment, he almost believed that, much like the situation with Tommy, he would receive no backlash. He was, however, quickly proven wrong. The only other revived man there was the first to speak up.
“WHAT?!”
“YOU FUCKED DREAM?!”
“LANGUAGE!”
“THE FURRY FUCKED GOD, OH MY FUCKING ENDER-”
“George? George, can you hear me? Dude, blink if you can hear me-”
“When we said ‘suck it green boy’, we didn’t mean literally!”
“How did you manage to get him to-”
As the chaos began to rise, Fundy began to shrink in his seat, panic settling in. Taking note of this, Tommy frowned as he tried to settle everyone down. When no one responded to him, he grew frustrated. Getting annoyed, Tubbo sat up to yell at the source of the chaos, only to find that he was beat to it. With a loud foot stomp, a booming voice yelled over the chaos.
“Will you all shUT UP?!”
Silence filled the room as everyone turned to face the source of the yell. There, fists clenched tightly by her side, stood Drista. Everyone hesitated about her next course of action, as the eyes on her mask seemed to glow with her annoyance. As she sat down, crossing her arms and legs together, she huffed as she prepared to speak up once more. Much to her annoyance, however, the door to the room creaked open, a new presence creeping in.
“Sorry I’m late, you all have seem to have forgotten me back on my server.”
Everyone watched as the figure approached, Fundy shrinking in his seat. Tommy stiffened in his own, one hand in Tubbo’s, the other clamped around Fundy’s wrist. Tubbo, on the other hand, glared at the floor as he held onto Tommy’s hand, as if that alone would solve their issues. The figure, now more visible to be Dream, hummed as he stood in between the three boys and the members of his server. Seeming to only focus on the three, he crossed his arms as he laughed.
“Wow, I didn’t think I’d see you three again. Tommy, Tubbo, it’s been years. Good to see you two in good shape. Fundy, I haven’t seen you in a little over two years. Didn’t think that I’d find you here, of all places. Did you all miss m-”
SMACK
Everyone stared in shock as Dream held onto his face, trying to keep his mask steady as he regained his balance. Once he quickly regained his composure, he quickly turned to face his “attacker.” Standing in all her glory, stood his sister, hands on her hips as she stood there, anger simmering underneath her mask. As she stood up straight, she hummed in acknowledgment as Lani walked up beside her, leaning on her for support. Holding her hand out, Lani smirked as Drista gave her a high five. The beginning of their best friend handshake was cut short, however, when Dream spoke up once again.
“Drista? When did you get here? Is this where you’ve been? Why haven’t you come by to visit me-”
“Oh, I don’t know, why did you never reach out to me? And if you had bothered to show up to the revealing of the park on time, you would have known where I’ve been. Now sit down and stay quiet so we can all catch up.”
“And none of you better try attacking! All guests are unable to do any form of pvp that’s not in any of the special arenas, so don’t even try!”
“Yeah, what Lani said!”
--------
The group was walking to the opposite side of Tavern Town, towards the booth games. Fundy was walking with Quackity and Karl, telling them of al the projects he had done since he last saw them. Not trusting her brother at all, Drista walked beside Dream, Lani joining in on keeping an eye on the admin. Tubbo was catching up with Ranboo, as well as timidly speaking with an unusually kind Schlatt. Humming as he walked in the front of the group, Tommy bopped his head as he replayed a song in his head. Opening his mouth, he quietly sang out the lyrics that swam in his head.
“He’s in your bed-”
“-I’m in your Twitch chat”
Jumping slightly, Tommy turned to see Wilbur, walking up to be by his side. Joining him in this was both Phil and Techno, the three of them as awkward as ever. Unsure as to what to expect from them, Tommy just gave them a nod of acknowledgment. As much as he wanted to embrace the three of them into a grand hug, telling them how much he missed and loved them, he didn’t dare to do so. After all the years they spent away from each other, he was able to reflect and forgive them for the wrong things they’ve done to him, intentional or not. What he didn’t know, however, was how they viewed him after all these years. Did they forgive him for all the troublesome chaos he caused, intentional or not? Could they find it in themselves to do so? He didn’t blame them if they didn’t, he wasn’t even sure if he would.
“You know, we thought that you had died, mate. No one had seen you in so long after...after L’manburg. And I know he isn’t family, but he practically was, so it was concerning when Tubbo went missing too. Then, out of nowhere, Fundy was gone overnight. I thought I lost my family, so I became desperate to get Wilbur back so that the three of us could get you all back.”
“Why?”
“What do you mean, mate?”
“Why get us back? Why want us as family?”
Did he forgive them? Yes, of course he did. Doesn’t mean that he had to forget their actions, as well as the consequences that came from them. Doesn’t mean that he wasn’t allowed to question their decisions. He still loved them, sure, but he needed answers. He needed to know if they loved him back, if they loved all of them. He watched as Wilbur was in deep thought, trying to find the right words to say. He turned to see Phil, emotion running through his face as he stared at Tommy, not knowing what to say to his questions. The last person he thought would speak up, spoke up.
“We were blinded by our own emotions, Thes- er, Tommy. That’s not an excuse for our impulsive decisions, especially ones that put your life at stake, we know this. But we are family, as much as I tried to run away from that fact over the last few years. I let the voices and the power that I held as a pvp god distract me from my original mission.”
“Original mission? What was that?”
“Protecting you. Well, protecting everyone in my family. I have always been protective of my family, but the first night you were brought home changed how I handled that. The moment you laughed, I knew that I had to get stronger to keep all of you safe. I never thought that I’d use that strength against the very same person who brought me to want to become stronger. I’m not going to beat around the bush, we’ve been a shit family to each other these past years. We’ve hurt you, in ways that we may not even know. But, Tommy, if you let us, we can try to be the family you deserve.”
Tommy stared at his eldest brother, surprise painting his face. Blinking a few times, he switched his gaze over to both Phil and Wilbur, before returning it to Techno. Lightly biting his tongue, he took his gaze off of the pink haired warrior and faced the front, refusing to look at any of the three men walking beside him. Finally putting proper words together in his mind, Tommy spoke up once more.
“You all have hurt me in a handful of ways, that is true. But I’ve also hurt all of you, too. For all that, I’m sorry. As for not being a family, that can’t be solved quickly. This isn’t something we can speedrun into a healthy dynamic.”
“Tommy, we-”
“But that doesn’t we still can’t heal. If you are all willing to take the time and effort to work with all of us to fix our family, I’m willing to give you that chance. Oh, and Technoblade? You can call me Theseus, it is a part of my name, after all.”
Tommy couldn’t help but smile as the tension from the three men left their bodies, relief taking its place. Peering behind him, he made eye contact with his nephew, who stared back with worry. His worry, however, melted into a content smile as Tommy gave him a reassuring nod. Waving him over, Tommy smiled as Fundy excused himself, jogging up to be at his uncle’s sign.
“Hey, Tom- Hey!”
“Haha! Look at you, being all amazing!”
“Can you not be an embarrassing uncle for five seconds?”
“Nope!”
Fundy rolled his eyes at his uncle, laughing for a while before standing up straight. Ducking his head in nervousness, he gave a shy smile and wave to his grandfather, as well as his other uncle and father. Before words were exchanged, however, a frantic wail filled the air, catching Fundy’s attention immediately. Taking a few steps in front of everyone else, he kneeled down with arms open. Running towards him was Theo, wide eyes as he reached for his father, who lifted him into the air in an instant. Burrowing his face into the neck of his father, Theo dramatically wailed once more. The concern that once filled Fundy and Tommy had melted away at this. They now knew that he wasn’t in danger, he was just overreacting. The two of them would bet anything that a certain gremlin was behind this.
“Theo, what’s wrong, buddy?”
“SHE WAS GIVEN A SWORD, WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!!”
Fundy and Tommy gave each other a look, both unsure as how to respond to that. A shrill shriek of joy caught the entire group’s attention. There, frantically swiping a wooden sword in the air, came a joyful Clementine at full speed. Running up to Fundy, she began to jump up and down, sword waving in the air, as she tried to reach Theo, who had managed to climb on top of his father’s head.
“DON’T LET HER REACH ME, PAPA!!! SHE’S CRAZY WITH THAT THING!!!”
Theo shrunk behind his father’s hat as Clementine reacted to his statement by growling at the fox hybrid. Sighing, Tommy scooped up the rowdy child, who squealed as she hugged the sword.
“Clem, ya can’t go around swinging a sword at your cousin. And don’t ever hug an actual sword, ever, dear god. I’d like you to keep your fucking limbs, Jesus Christ.”
Clem only responded to this with a giggly smile, turning back to face her cousins. Fundy rolled his eyes as he plucked his son off his head, cradling him in his arm as Theo hugged his father’s hat in his chest.
“Clem, what do we say when we hurt someone or make them scared?”
“SUCK IT!!!”
“For fucks sake, Clementine, no. We say that to jackasses and assholes, not to your cousin. Try again, Clem.”
“Humph, sorry, TT.”
“Hm, okay! I forgive you, CC!”
Before the children, who were now conversing in their own secret language, were introduced to everyone, a concerned Grian and Kristin ran over. Once they saw the children, they physically relaxed.
“Thank goodness they came to you guys, we nearly panicked when they ran. Things were going great, but then Clementine whacked Grian on the foot before turning her attention to Theo.”
“It’s what we expected, this is Clementine we’re talking about.”
“Grian? Is that really you?”
Grian stiffened as he turned to face Phil, Wilbur and Techno staring at him in disbelief. Rubbing his arm in uncertainty, he watched as Phil walked up to him. Eyes scanning his face, Phil let out a strangled noise as he threw his arms around Grian, never expecting to see his first missing son after all the years that passed by. Grian let out a sigh as he hugged back, a smile painted on his face. Pulling away, he let out a laugh as he turned to his brothers. Shooting Tommy a look, Grian snickered at the nod of approval given to him. Turning back to Wilbur and Techno, he let out a hearty laugh as he yelled out words that Techno knew too well.
“OH, I’M PRESSING THAT HUG BUTTON!!!”
“Wait-”
Tommy wheezed out a laugh as Wilbur and Techno were pulled into a group hug by Grian, the triplets finally being reunited. It wasn’t until they heard the choked up and shy tone that came when Phil spoke.
“Kristin? How, uh, hey! How up? What’s you? Shit, wait, no. How are you?”
“Really? Decades separated, and this is the greeting I get.”
“I didn’t mean to be-”
“At least buy me dinner, sheesh.”

This one is for! @slightlysecretive im so sorry this one took forever! You were one of the first to send in an ask so i feel bad but i hope you enjoy this!
Prompt #9, "Just Tickle me already!"
People in this: Lee!Philza, Ler!Technoblade
Tw: slight cursing, but other than that none this is soft!
With all that being said I hope you enjoy!! :] Again apologizes on the wait!
___________~☆°♡°☆°♡°☆~______________
Don't mess with the blade!
The sbi household was normally and naturally chaotic, at this point it was strange and unsettling if things were calm and quiet.
Of course they did have their lazy days were they enjoyed each other's presence but even that was something,
So when philza opened his eyes taking in the morning sun to complete scilence in the household it worried him, he got up going to check on his boys and saw that two had left and the other quietly reading in his room.
"Were are the others?"
The said reader had looked up from his book pushing his reading glasses forward back to fit his face
"Wilbur's hanging out with Charlie and Tommy's with Tubbo and Ranboo"
"Got it, why didn't you go anywhere?"
"Where else do i got ta' go phil?" He stubbornly questioned the winged man in front of him, "im perfectly happy here with my books, now since it's finally quiet i can read in peace so if you could" he gestured to the door before going back to his book.
"Fine, i will let you go" Phil sighed going to the living room throwing on a random channel out of boredom,
"Ughhh!" Phil rubbed his temples contimplating his decisions, he was feeling lee right now so option one was to just ignore it and make tea, option two was to go bother Techno and with that he tip toed to the Pinkette's room being sure to not make a sound/be heard by Technoblade's sharp hearing skills
The blonde ran in their smacking the book out of the anarchist hands running for it like a child would.
Techno blinked a few times before glaring at the blonde using the signature slow head turn Technoblade stare before smiling and rolling his eyes chasing after him.
"PHILZAAAAAAA!!!"
"Eep!" Phil ran around the house trying to look for an escape
"Dead end Mr Minecraft, What cha' gonna do now huh?~"
"Tech, we can have a mature adult discussion about this, no need to be unreasonable" He gulped backing himself up to the wall
"You know phil humans back in the day had alot more stamina then there prey so they used to hunt their prey by chasing them and tiring them out before going in for the kill"
"Y-yeah? Cool" Phil stuttered out not really knowing how to respond to that
"Very cool" Techno smirked at him
The scilence was loud,,,
"Dammit Tech! Just Tickle me already!"
"Heh heh, as you wish" Techno pushed forward tickling philza's ribs
"EEp! TEeheCh! NoHoho, MeEHeaN!" Techno laughed at the clear lee mood in his voice,
"I know I'm mean, I'm Technoblade" Techno Cheered moving his hands down to pinch at the crow fathers hips.
"AH!" Phil's knees went weak and he slid down the wall Techno smirking and following him down
"T-tech wait-"
"Wait for what? A magic trick? I dont think so!" He smirked being sarcastic pinching his hips again as Phil squeaked
"AH HaHaha! TECH! EEP!" His wings twitched trying to defend himself from the tickles gently running over Techno's neck,
"Hehey!"
"Oh no, T-tech! That was a reflex! I swear i did not mean to!" Phil panicked nervously giggling a bit as Techno smirked clearly not caring
"Wings sound good for dinner tonight right Philza?" he said smirking and making a pun "LAUGH FOR THE LAUGH GOD!" He dug his wiggling fingers into the death spot were his wings meet the back
"NAHAHAHAAHA PLEAHAHAHASE TEHEHEHECH! IHIHIHIHIT TIHIHICKLES!"
Techno laughed a little at the comment continuing a little more gentle
"Tickle Tickle Dadzaa~"
"TEcH! Eehehe!"
"Dawww" Techno teased moving his hands to tickle his stomach
"EEP! TEHEHECHNOHOHO PLEAHAHAHASE!"
With a deep breath in he blew a raspberry above his bellybutton,
"NAHAHAHAAHA OKAHAHAY OKAHAHAY I'M SOHOHOHORRY! IHIHIHIHIT TIHIHICKLES TEHEHECH!"
Techno smirked and stopped "Don't mess with Technoblade Again yea?~" he poked Phil's stomach as Phil giggled
"We'll see butthead" Phil ruffled his hair before getting up
"Dahh! Hey!" He Growled fixing his hair
"Get back to reading bud, i won't interrupt ya'" Phil said smiling going to the kitchen to make himself a snack.
"Yeah you wont, but they will"
Right on cue
"TECHNOBLADEEE MY FRIENDDD!"
"Hi Technoblade!"
Phil and Tech sighed at the same time laughing,
"Welcome home Tommy and Hello Tubbo" The blade responded nodding at the two of them
Tubbo waved again smiling,
"BLADEEE! BUDDYY!" Tommy flicked the crown off his head as tubbo stole a pencil from his room running away as Techno chased after them to the outside passing Wilbur as he entered the home.
"What's up with them?"
Phil smiled contently "the normal"
'Yep, the best kind of chaos'

someone has accepted the big man gang name! thats the biggest achievement i’ll ever get in my life!
anyways, gang shenanigans, purpled sees the new karen he’s been trying to ignore attempting to bully dream, who’s very tired, he’s had to work overtime restocking after black friday or something, he hasn’t slept in a week, and he looks as though he actually might be about to cry, into getting a grandma’s load of free stuff for some reason or other. purpled decides that nobody bullies his favorite manager at the lowest point he’s ever seen the man, and summons the rest of the minors to cashier 2.
this karen, still pressuring dream, hears a rumble. she turns and sees three teens running towards her, fury in their eyes. the one on rollerblades is holding a celery stick and uses it to sweep her feet out from under her. she falls backwards, but is caught from behind by the tallest boy. before she can say anything, she feels her feet lift from the ground. she looks to see the teen cashier and the boy in a red and white jacket putting her feet on their shoulders. she is now suspended at least 6 feet off the ground.
the karen squirms trying to break free, furious, yelling obscenities and threatening to sue them, but the teens do not listen and their grip on her does not loosen. the one who knocked her over points his celery stick towards the door and yells something she doesn’t understand. the other three respond back in unison and begin to chant “blood for the blood god” and “dudududu”. she cranes her head, trying to see what the manager is doing, but he just stands there, shocked and red eyed, before laughing and shooing the kids along as he is brought away by a sleepy looking man in white goggles. they yell once more, and march her out the door. they are saluted by the security guard and the janitor flanking the entrance.
she recalls seeing a swat man out front and yells for help, but he only looks at her, then at the group carrying her and decides to sit this one out. the group is led by the celery stick boy, who clears the way for them. the people walking on the streets part in a reverence that the karen had never seen before directed to the boy.
they bring her to the local lake and walk to the end of the docks and by now, a crowd has gathered, recording the scene. she feels herself drop, only to be caught by her armpits and ankles. the teens begin to count down and swing her back and forth. the karen doubles her efforts to break free. it is fruitless. when the teens hit one, they swing her up and release their grip on her, sending her flying into the air and crashing into the freezing water. as she comes up, raging, she hears loud cheering coming from the shore. she vows revenge on the store and hauls off to the mayor, still dripping wet.
he refuses to help her press charges, stating that the store she attempted to swindle is sacred and must be protected at all cost. when she goes home, she rants to her husband and 2 children, who happen to go to school with the four. her children, who rather like them, tell her that if they really took her all the way to the lake, which is a good 10 minute walk from the store, then she must have done something to deserve it.
the next day, she sees the newspaper. the headlines read “LOCAL CITIZEN NEARLY DRIVES GROCERY STORE MANAGER TO TEARS, TEEN EMPLOYEES RETRIBUTION SERVED COLD.” only then does she realize what she has invoked and fear strikes her heart. she has not wrought the wrath of mere high school children, but rather, the fury of guardian deities, the embodiments of chaos itself, who will not hesitate to defend those under their jurisdiction.
said guardian deities and embodiments of chaos are in a cuddle pile in the break room, eating cookies that niki gifted them and watching over dream as charlie slimecicle makes a sign that says “beware of big men, will attack if provoked” to hang up on the wall of the attic, by approval of Tommy Innit Minecraft, Tubbo Underscore Minecraft, Ranboo Prince, and Grayson Purpled.
I LOVE THIS SO DAMN MUCH YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. EVEN HER CHILDREN GOING LIKE “IF THEY CARRIED YOU FOR TEN MINUTES ONLY TO DUMP YOU IN A POND YOU MUST DESERVE IT” HAS ME LOSING ALL OF MY OXYGEN AT A RAPID PACE

I wrote a bit for that ask earlier
Micheal gets taken It had been a good day. The sun was shining, and breeze just cold enough to counter the sun threaded through the air. Ranboo was splashing with his family near the river, Micheal wrapped up in his tail. He'd heard a faint squealing sound, and Tubbo had asked him if where Michael was. Now, Ranboo was creeping through the woods, family in his pocket. Tubbo had said the raptor had gone towards the cave, and so he was scouring the underbrush. "Hey, Ranboo? You sure you saw the bitch over here? Let me down, and I can see if he fell somewhere 'round here," said Tubbo, trying to climb out of the cloak. A clawed hand came up to the pocket, and gently pushed the human back into the pocket, "What? No. We don't know if it was just one, and raptors travel in packs," The movement stopped, and Ranboo lifted the pouch to eye level, "I don't want you to die, dude." Tubbo crawled out of the sewn cloth and down onto his arm, grabbing fistfuls of fur until he was on the giant's shoulder. "I know. But I can see him better than you can on the ground, and Michael is more likely to die than me," he took out his sword. The edge of the blade caught the light shimmering through the treeline. "Note the sword, big man." "Fine," said Ranboo. The giant put the pocket back around his hip, and put Tubbo on the ground with the other. "Stay where I can see you, alright?" After a few more momets of searching, the duo came upon a large indentation in the earth. The raptor was in there, seemingly out of breath. It must have arrived a little earlier than them. Micheal was in the giant's right hand, crying and squirming, trying to get out. Upon this, Ranboo wordlessly picked up his human friend, placing him back in the pocket. I couldn't figure out a good ending. You can finish if you like! 💚
Notes: thank you so much anon, I really like it!!! And sorry it took me longer to post it I wanted to write an ending for it :] I hope you like it, and thank you so so so much 💛💛💛 you are very pog
(Ending under the cut 💛)
Continuation:
As soon as Ranboo’s eyes met the raptor’s the offending giant froze with Michael still squealing in his fist. Ranboo let out a deep growl and though he felt a bit guilty over Tubbo hearing it, he had to save the piglin.
His tail whipped out at the giant wrapping around its leg. With one tug the raptor was on the ground.
“You give me back that piglin,” Ranboo growled making sure to show off his impressively sharp teeth.
The raptor let out a gurgling laugh, and just barely Ranboo could feel Tubbo pushing himself further into his pocket. He wished Tubbo didn’t have to be there.
“Fuck you I found it first,” the raptor grumbled.
Ranboo snarled and tightened his grip on the giant’s leg. A loud cracking sound echoed around the clearing.
“Give me back my son.”
A terrified screech left the raptor and as soon as Ranboo’s tail loosened its hold the giant shuffled away as fast as it could. Michael, still sobbing and afraid, was left on the ground.
“Oh god Michael,” Ranboo carefully scooped up the piglin in his fingers, “I’m here buddy, it’s okay.”
Michael shuffled closer to Ranboo’s tough and whimpered against his skin.
“It’s okay Michael your safe,” Ranboo whispered.
Carefully he checked the piglin for any injuries and luckily only found a couple scratches. Michael would be fine, but if anything tried to hurt his family again he would tear them to pieces.

“Who the fuck are you?”
Goddamn I’m popping off
@panna-pan @princeboo come get yall juice
TW: Blood
.oOo.oOo.oOo.
Summary: Tommy hears a creeper blow up in the woods late at night and goes to check it out.
Word Count: 2,644
Date of Completion: Friday, January 8th, 2021
.oOo.oOo.oOo.
Tommy stared at the moon silently from his place on the roof. The autumn air was biting,  chilling him to the core and making him shiver. He could go inside, where it was warm, but he didn’t want to. Tubbo had finished building the neat little cottage several days prior and had quickly begun constructing a barn as well. It wasn’t too large or extraordinary, but the cows and horses seemed pleased.
That day, Tommy had explored and found a village a few hundred meters North.
“For God’s sake, Tommy! What direction is the village!”
“LEFT, TUBBO! I WENT LEFT!”
“LEFT DOESN’T DESCRIBE ANYTHING!”
It was a long trip, but with Tommy’s horse, aptly named HORSE, it was an hour round trip. It was worth it for the supplies. They could get books, food, and anything else they might need.
Despite this, Tommy couldn’t help the pang in his chest. The villagers hum reminded him of Techno’s village, the sheep reminded him of Friend, the way chickens roamed through the village reminded him of a time before L’Manberg was blown up. He longed to go back to that time, to see his friends, but he knew he couldn’t.
He took a shuddering breath as his nose burned and dug the heel of his hands into his eyes. He hiccuped softly as his body shook. He missed them. God he missed them so much. He wondered what was happening in L’Manberg. Was Dream still trying to destroy it even though he was gone? Was Techno still planning on destroying it? Was anyone looking for them?
He didn’t know. He wanted to know. He wanted to know exactly what was happening, so badly that he almost wanted to go back. He’d give anything to know what was happening. He furiously wiped away any tears that spilled before wiping his hands on his pants and his face on his shirt, silently muttering, “I’m fine, I’m okay, it’s okay,” in a weak attempt to comfort himself.
Before he could continue to his brooding, he heard the sound of a creeper explosion and jolted. Tubbo and Ranboo were asleep, but someone had to trigger the creeper. He stood up, his heart pounding in his chest as fear gripped him for a moment. Did Dream find us? The thought sent an icy chill down his spine. He slid off the roof carefully and ran inside, grabbing a sword and shield, before turning and making his way out shakily.
He ran into the woods, towards the sound of the explosion. He may not have fought in any wars in a while, but he sure as hell could still fight. He ran until he slammed into a man who was shorter than him, about the same height as Tubbo. He stumbled for a moment before looking down at him. “Uh-”
“Skeletons-” He quickly warned.
Tommy turned to see three skeletons approach, two coming head on and one staying further back. He pulled up his shield quickly, just in time to block two arrows heading towards them, before bringing up his sword and quickly striking one down. The man was quick to grab a branch and start whacking as Tommy killed the one in front of him.
He quickly drew up his shield and blocked an arrow from hitting the man. The man quickly hit the skeleton over the head with the branch, promptly beheading it, before stomping on it’s skull, slaying it.
Tommy took a breath for a moment before feeling a sharp pain in his side as the third and final skeleton approached. He let out a pained cry and dropped his sword, cupping his side where the arrow had hit and where his shirt was beginning to stain with blood. He trembled as the man cursed in a panic. He looked around frantically or a moment before his eyes landed on Tommy’s netherite sword. He quickly ran forward, grabbing it and striking down the final skeleton.
He turned to Tommy once he was sure it was dead and hesitated. “Hey, hey kid, come on, get up, are you okay?”
Tommy grunted lightly and lifted his hand to see it bloodied. “Oh I’m doing fucking great,”
The man cringed for a moment. “Come on, where’s your family? Let’s get you home,”
He quickly tried to help Tommy walk only to be shoved harshly away. “Fuck off, I can walk on my own.”
The man stared at him for several seconds before nodding, seeming unsure of what to do as Tommy staggered forward, leading him back. The man looked around for a moment before following and speaking. “What’s your name?”
Tommy glanced over at him for a moment before turning. “Tommyinnit. Who the fuck are you?”
“CaptainSparklez. Nice to meet you Tommyinnit, you should really let me help you.”
“Oh shut up,”
“You’re gonna bleed out and lose a life, you might not know this but… losing a life isn’t exactly fun.”
Tommy paused and stared at him for several seconds before his gaze hardened. “I’m on my last life dumbass, I fuckin know it sucks.”
Sparklez startled at that. “You’re on your last life? Already? How?”
“War n’ shit.”
He stared at him for several moments. “How old are you?”
“Old enough apparently,”
Sparklez fell silent as Tommy staggered into the clearing. The pain in his side was becoming unbearable as he gasped weakly before calling out, “Tubbo!”
He stumbled in his step, leaning on the fence that surrounded the pastures where Tubbo’s horse, named Bumble, watched on. “Tubbo!” He yelled again, louder.
Sparklez began helping him towards the house as Tommy began to struggle. “Tubbo!” He yelled once more.
After a few seconds, the doors open. “Christ, Tommy. Do you know how-” Tubbo froze upon seeing Sparklez helping Tommy, who still had an arrow in his side.
He looked between the two in a panic for a moment before getting his bearings. “Ranboo!” He yelled before moving forward. “Jesus Christ, Tommy, why are you going out at night!?”
“This dumbass was blowing up creepers n’ shit! I had to come see what was going on!”
Tubbo cursed as he helped him inside and sat him down on one of their chairs. He grabbed glass bottles from the cupboard and filled them with water in the cauldron, before hooking them up to the brewing stand in the kitchen. “Ranboo!” He yelled again, digging through the cupboards to find the Nether Wart.
After a moment, the Enderman hybrid teleported into the room, looking tired but alarmed. “Wha? What’s happening?”
Tubbo motioned to Tommy wordlessly as he grabbed a glistering melon from a barrel. Ranboo turned and saw the unfamiliar man and Tommy’s injury before cursing lightly and going to one of the chests and grabbing a few pieces of cloth. “Shoot, okay, uh, okay Tommy, I’m gonna try to pull the arrow out.”
Tommy grunted and nodded as Ranboo handed him the towels. “Once I do, push these cloths into the injury, okay?”
“Okay okay, just fucking do it already. Christ.”
Ranboo paused before nodding. He gently grabbed the arrow and put his hand on Tommy’s side, before taking a deep breath and pulling the arrow out. Tommy let out a yelp of pain before gritting his teeth and swallowing down any other pained noises that threatened to come out. He pushed the cloth into his quickly bleeding side as Ranboo handed the man the arrow. “Here, hold this for a minute- Tubbo can you grab a wet cloth?”
Tubbo looked up and opened his mouth to argue before pausing. “Oh right, water. You take over with the potions,”
Ranboo nodded wordlessly as he began rifling through chests for gunpowder. Tubbo grabbed another cloth and dipped it in the cauldron before wringing it out and having Tommy lift his shirt as he started to wipe down around the injury.
Sparklez looked between them for a moment before speaking. “You guys seem awfully practiced in this,”
Ranboo glanced over as Tubbo spoke up. “We’ve fought in a couple wars, I know what to do when this kind of thing happens.”
Sparklez stared at him for a moment as Ranboo grabbed the potions. “Three air-compatible potions,” He said, handing Tubbo a bottle.
Tubbo took it. “Tommy-”
“I know,” He maneuvered, grunting and whimpering, as he laid onto his side, exposing the injury.
Tubbo moved Tommy’s hand and opened the bottle, gently pouring it over the wound. He rubbed around the injury as it began to close. He tossed the bottle aside when it was empty before wordlessly reaching for another bottle, which Ranboo provided. The second was enough to close the wound entirely, though Tommy didn’t move as his side was still painfully sore.
Ranboo and Tubbo watched him anxiously. Tommy cracked open an eye and groaned. “Oh stop looking at me like that,”
“Huh?”
“You look at me like I’m a fuckin’ kicked puppy. I’m fine,”
Tubbo couldn’t help but crack a smile at his remark before ruffling his hair. Tommy smacked his hand away with a scowl and Tubbo couldn’t help but laugh. “What the hell? Don’t touch my hair!”
“What? Why? It’s fluffy!”
“Fuck off,”
Tubbo laughed again as Tommy smacked him away again. Ranboo handed him a glass of water, careful not to spill it. Tubbo finally turned his attention to Sparklez and sighed. “I’m sorry about him, hes loud and annoying.”
“Did you just fucking call me annoying?!”
“Yes,” Ranboo answered for Tubbo, laughing.
“What the hell you dickhead!” Tommy looked offended as Sparklez chuckled lightly.
“It’s alright, he did save me.”
Tubbo looked up and nodded, staring at Sparklez for several moments. The man shifted with uncertainty before offering him an uncomfortable smile. Tubbo seemed to catch on to his discomfort and straightened. “Have I met you before? You look familiar.”
Sparklez shrugged. “I can’t say I’ve met you before. My name’s CaptainSparklez.”
Tubbo stared for a moment before gasping loudly. “CAPTAIN!”
Tommy and Ranboo both jumped at his sudden shout as Sparklez looked up, alarmed. “Huh?”
“THAT’S WHERE I KNOW YOU FROM! YOU’RE A GODDAMN LEGEND!”
Tommy made a face. “Not much of a legend if I’ve never heard of him,”
“Yeah, I’m gonna have to agree with Tommy on this one, Tubbo.”
Tubbo glared at them before turning back to the Captain. “No, I used to travel a lot for a while before I got to- you know- but! But I heard about him a lot! I knew I recognized him from somewhere.”
The shortest of them looked incredibly pleased as he looked at the Captain. Tommy took a breath and sighed. “Alright, whatever. He’s some kind of legend, nice to meet you.”
Sparklez chuckled lightly. “Nice to meet you too, and Tommy, thanks for coming to help me back there. Gods know you didn’t have to.”
Tommy grunted lightly. “Yeah, I know what it’s like to get cornered out there alone.”
Tubbo frowned as a guilty look crossed his face and Tommy met his gaze. “Oh- shit- I’m not blaming you or anything, Tubbo, you really didn’t have a choice.”
“I still feel bad,”
Ranboo hummed softly and returned his gaze to the Captain. “Where are you heading, if I can ask?”
“Nowhere in particular really, just exploring.”
Tommy hummed as Tubbo sat up. “Do you need a place to sleep?”
Sparklez smiled. “I could use one, if it wouldn’t be an issue,”
Tubbo grinned. “You can stay here, right guys?” He asked hopefully, turning to his friends.
Ranboo and Tommy exchanged looks before shrugging. “I mean, we don’t really have any spare rooms,”
“He could sleep on the couch!”
Ranboo hesitated and sent Tommy an uneasy look. The younger moved so he was sitting up and met Tubbo’s gaze. The shorter’s gaze fell for a moment as he saw the twos’ uneasy expressions. After a moment, he took a breath. “How about the hayloft in our barn?”
Tommy glanced over to Ranboo, who met his gaze and shrugged. After a bit, he sighed. “Alright, that’ll work. But he stays in the hayloft all night,”
The Captain watched the exchange silently before nodding at the verdict. “I can do that, I don’t need anything extravagant, just a safe spot.”
Tommy stood up and stretched. “I’ll go grab you a blanket,”
Tubbo nodded as Tommy walked out of the room. “I’ll show you where you can stay,”
Sparklez nodded as the shorter lead him out of the house, across the field, hopping over the fence and into the pasture where Bumble was grazing peacefully. The horse looked up at them for a moment before continuing as Tubbo walked to the barn. The Captain hummed as they entered. “This is a nice place, clean.”
Tubbo nodded. “I finished building it a bit ago, we all take turns cleaning and stuff.”
The Captain turned to him in surprise. “You built this place?”
Tubbo nodded. “And the house, but Tommy takes care of the animals and Ranboo takes care of the food supply, our little farm.” He explained, motioning to the small garden on the side of the house.
The Captain nodded approvingly. “You guys seem pretty stable,”
Tubbo shrugged back. “I dunno, we’re trying to get what we can with berries and such, but once winter comes it’s gonna be a lot harder. We got here pretty late in the season, but we have good trade with a village north from here so we should be okay. Spread a bit thin, but we’ll be okay.”
The Captain nodded slowly, an unreadable expression on his face. The two got to the back of the barn, passing Haley who was sleeping in her little stable and passing HORSE who was also in his little stable. “Up here,” Tubbo said, motioning to a ladder.
The two pulled themselves up and Tubbo shrugged. “It’s not much, but with a couple blankets it’ll be quite cozy!”
The Captain chuckled. “Thank you, it’s more than enough considering you didn’t have to help me in the first place.”
Tubbo grinned at the praise when they heard Tommy shout from below. “I got blankets!”
Tubbo looked down the ladder before putting his hand up. “Wait here,”
He climbed down and greeted his best friend. “Thanks, Tommy.”
“Whatever, take this up and head back to the house, I’m tired as shit.”
Tubbo chuckled softly before turning to the ladder. “I’ll be back in just a second,”
Tommy made a curt noise and returned to the cabin as Tubbo climbed up the ladder. “Here you go, Captain!” He chirped, handing the man two blankets. “One blanket to lay on, and one to cover up with.”
The older man smiled. “Thanks, kiddo.”
“Now remember, Tommy’ll freak out if you leave in the middle of the night, so try to stay up here until one of us comes to get you tomorrow. Ranboo and I get up before sunrise usually so we’ll be up shortly,”
The captain nodded. “Alright, thank you. I mean it,”
“It’s an honor, Captain!” Tubbo replied excitedly, saluting him.
The older man chuckled again as Tubbo turned to descend the ladder.
.oOo.oOo.oOo.
Tubbo entered the cabin to see Tommy still awake and leaning on the kitchen counter. The taller looked up when he entered and his figure relaxed a bit. “Hey, Tubbo.”
“Hey, Tommy. Did you stay up for me?”
Tommy scowled. “No. I was just making sure you didn’t get murdered or some shit.”
Tubbo chuckled lightly before grinning. “Let’s get back to bed,”
The blond nodded mutely.
.oOo.oOo.oOo.
The next morning, as promised, Tubbo and Ranboo had greeted the Captain. They’d given him some breakfast and a few potions before he left.
And if during that winter, the older man would occasionally visit with a bag of food, then it was just a coincidence.

Note
hear me out - Before the 20th, dream got invited to technos house, then he and techno are having a drinking contest, and if phil and ranboo walks in, they say that their drinking away their sorrows, which was kinda true because of what happens the next day
“‘M worried,” Dream admits, after almost pitching forwards into the table.
Techno glances at him with a smirk. “So am I,” he agrees, with only the slightest hint of a slur to his tone, “Jeez, who would’ve thought the admin of this place would be such a lightweight?”
Dream nudges him viciously, and Techno responds with a snort of laughter, pushing aside their drinks on the table and standing. They’d been drinking for a few hours, and it’s starting to get dark: they need to stop drinking now, in time to sober up for tomorrow.
Tomorrow. It looms over both of them, a day of anticipation, a day of apprehension. They’re not idiots: both of them know there’s only one way this can end, and it’s not with them losing. But Techno can’t help but feel a slight misgiving for the next day.
And neither, it seems, can Dream, who is pointedly less refined than usual, and is, for the first time, reminiscent of the boy Techno had first met — golden and careless and shining and great, a force for good in the world. He’s always so tense nowadays; tense and controlled and deliberately bland, and Techno has to say, he misses the old Dream.
This Dream will do for now. So he humours him, turning to face the admin who’s slouched at his table like he owns it. “What’re you so worried about, Dream? Feel like sharing with the class?”
“...The end of the story.” Dream drums his fingers on the table, restless. He’s a lot more open than usual. “What’s going to happen next.”
Techno squints at him. “Dramatic. We’re only blowing up a country here, Dream, chill out.”
And Dream laughs, good natured, but there’s something melancholy behind it. “Just thinking out loud,” he says, lifting a hand to his face and pausing when it touches his mask instead, “whoops. Forgot I had this on.”
“It’s been a while since you’ve had it off.” Techno agrees, clearing up the bottles on the table with a sweep of his hands, and shaking his head to try and clear it of the fog. He needs to focus: there’s something in this conversation, something meaningful he’s struggling to grasp. “Right?”
“Mmmn, yeah.” In a bleary motion, Dream knocks the mask half off his face; with a sigh, he makes no attempt to fix it. “God, I feel all floaty.”
Techno looks away instantly from Dream’s face. He’s seen it before, several times, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to do so now while it’s been accidentally revealed to him. “Maybe you should head to bed before you realise you’re drunk,” he deadpans, and Dream laughs. With an odd ache in his chest, Techno realises he can’t remember the last time he’d heard it so natural sounding.
“Yeah, yeah.” Without his usual grace, he gets to his feet, turning to face Techno. It’s impossible not to see his face: his eyes are glossy, but cheerful, but there’s something dead about his features, something exhausted and firm despite his current inebriation. “Glad you’re on my side, you know. After you helped Tommy, I didn’t think I’d have anyone, and then— then I had you, and everything was better, but it’s going to come down to me and Tommy like always, even if I don’t really want to— It’s why I’m worried, ‘cause I don’t think I wanna—”
“Dream,” Techno drawls, because he can’t stand the sound of his rival being honest with his weaknesses, especially while he’s like this, “I have decided that I am too drunk to remember this conversation tomorrow. Wow. Look at me. I’m practically blacking out as we speak.”
“You’re not even that tipsy,” Dream says, uncomprehending.
Techno can’t help but roll his eyes, beginning to turn away and head to his bedroom. “You’ll thank me tomorrow for being unable to remember,” he tells Dream, who stays rooted in the middle of the room, swaying just a little.
“Will I?”
And he takes a moment to look back at his rival — the puppet master, the admin, the self proclaimed higher power of the world. His cheeks are flushed and there’s a familiar scar running through his left eye and eyebrow, and he’s not in full armour for once; just his regular hoodie and sweatpants. He’s startlingly human for a fake god, and Techno knows this is the last glimpse he’s going to get at this side of Dream for a long, long time.
“Yeah, you will,” he tells him. “Goodbye, Dream. See you tomorrow for some destruction.”
Dream hums in agreement, heading towards the front door with a lack of his usual carefulness. “See you for Doomsday, Techno.”
Techno waits until he’s gone before dragging his hands over his face and carefully exhaling. Today and tonight have felt more like Doomsday than tomorrow does — L’Manburg is already lost, after all. They’re just destroying it physically. The spark of life it had contained is already gone. He just can’t help but feel that tomorrow is going to doom Dream to something worse than L’Manburg’s end.
Tommy and Tubbo spend the night saying goodbye to L’Manburg and making preparations for war. Techno says goodbye to Dream, and lets tonight’s version of him die in his head.

Far Off Places (CH 3)
Chapter 2, Chapter 3 , Chapter 4
Word Count : 2,103
^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^
You woke up in a panic, sitting upright rapidly and crying out in pain. You winced and scrunched your face up, hands shooting up to your arms in a hug. You didn’t have any physical wounds, but you could still feel everything from the dream-state. This was the worst by far compared to any other dream you’ve had. None of them were as dangerous and harmful as this one, but you knew it had to be done. You tried to envision what the person looked like right before you woke up, but all you could remember was the lime green and concern in whatever the person was saying. That was another anomaly. The people in these kinds of visions would never be able to see you until you interacted with them, essentially NPC’s. So how was it that this one person could see you and talk to you. Out of the hundreds of dreams, this was the first time that this has ever happened. What made them so special?
A rapid, loud banging echoed in the house, and you didn’t realize what it was until you heard the door being busted in. Panic set in and you grabbed for your axe next to you, but set it down when you heard Techno’s voice ring out. You called out to give you a moment, prepared yourself quickly, then went downstairs to meet the three males in your doorway, panic evident on their features. “We heard screaming. What happened?” Techno walked further into the house, hand hovering over the hilt of his sword. “Did someone break in? No one should know where we are, ”Phil said, looking around the room in worry. You wrapped your arms around yourself, suddenly aware of how cold it had become. Techno came back and threw a blanket over you, huffing out a “clear” before standing next to Ranboo. “Maybe you guys could come in and I can explain. I’m not in danger, so you don’t have to worry, but I do have another thing I need to share.” They all looked at you curiously as they followed you to the den to light a fire and get comfy.
“I don’t know where the dreams came from or when they really started. I think they were always around, even as a kid. When something memorable happens, whether it’s good or bad, I can relive those moments through dreams. If they’re bad moments, I can essentially play detective to find what went wrong or find evidence of who did what specific thing. That’s what happened last night. The night my kingdom burned down I had no evidence, no clues, no information. Last night, I had one of my… Visions? Dreams? I’m not sure what you would call it. The only downside to these things is that any pain felt in the dream state, I feel in real life. The screaming you heard was probably because I was burning alive last night. The physical damage doesn’t stay, so visually I’m fine, but I still feel my skin stinging and it can last for hours, days, or even weeks.” You pause to let them process everything. “Questions?” They all shook their heads so you went into further detail.
“So last night I visited my kingdom as it burned down. I knew I had limited time and also knew the more damage I took, the harder it would be to recover in real life when I woke up. I had to speed run my search, essentially. I didn’t find much at all, honestly. I mainly spent the whole night running through flames and tripping over holes where the ground had been blown up. That is… Until I saw someone in the distance run past the road I was on. I followed the figure through the streets but ended up losing them. I had way too much happen and the smoke was clogging my lungs and I fell over. I almost passed out but heard rapid footsteps and a muffled voice, and right before I woke up I looked up and all I can remember… Is green. The strange thing is, though, is that in every single vision prior to this, the people are NPC’s. They don’t interact with me unless I interact with them first. So the fact that whoever this person was could see me and tried to talk to me is… Scary? I’m not sure if I should be worried about that or not. These visions never end up like that. That person is the only person I saw alive and unscathed and also tried to help me.”
“You said… Green?” Ranboo’s voice was laced with concern and he seemed more panicky than he did before. He always seemed on edge, but now he looked downright terrified. It worried you and you nodded hesitantly. “And you only ever see people that were at the scene prior to the dreams?” You nodded again and they all looked at each other. “What? What’s wrong?” Phil scratched the back of his neck and Techno huffed loudly as he got up and left the house. Their responses were concerning, to say the least. “Well,” Phil started. He took a moment. “The only people we know that are or wear green are Sam… And Dream.” You could feel the air stiffen and Ranboo got visibly more upset. “We try not to talk about the latter, but seeing as you’re new around here and you could be facing something bad, we need to talk about it. Ranboo, if you need to leave, then you can.” He sighed but showed no signs of moving. “No, if anyone has information to share, it’s me.” Phil nodded and looked at you, Ranboo keeping his eyes on his hands that held the leather bound book he had shown you yesterday.
“Well, for starters, Sam is a prison guard. He also helped build the prison, as well as a lot of the other bigger builds in the main part of our cities. He’s normally a very neutral sided person, but lately his fears have been clouding his judgement and he’s been… Making questionable choices. He let a kid visitor die in the prison with the prisoner.” They both got quiet until Phil cleared his throat. “I mean, the kid, Tommy, was revived… By said prisoner… But the fact that Sam let it happen in the first place is horrible.” He stopped again and Ranboo sniffled. “So, who is this prisoner then?” Ranboo looked up at you, malice and hatred clear as day in his two toned eyes. “Dream.” You looked at him inquisitively. “But, if Dream is in prison then how would he be an option for who I saw? These people never show up in my dreams unless they were there at the place I visit. Who is he? Why is he in prison? I have so many questions.”
“And we can answer them,” Ranboo stated. All sense of calm he had was completely gone. Just by his body language and the tone in his voice you knew already that what Dream had done to land himself in prison was horrible. “Dream is… Dream is possibly the worst person you could ever come in contact with. He’s murdered, stolen, manipulated. The list goes on. I’m sure you know of the three life rule.” You nod and he continues. “He took two of Tommy’s lives in wars in our lands. Tommy ended up putting Dream in jail after taking two of his lives. They decided that for some reason we still needed Dream. He said that Dream had… Some kind of revive book. We’ve lost a few people very dear to us so Tommy wanted to keep Dream around until they could get the book. Well, Tommy visited Dream in prison not too long ago, and while Tommy was in the cell with Dream explosions started going off and he was put into lockdown for a week. Remember the part where I said Dream was a literal murderer. He killed Tommy. Beat him to death. Then revived him.” He trailed off and you looked at him in shock. “There’s no way. Absolutely no way! After someone dies the third time that’s it! How could anyone revive someone?” Ranboo shrugged.
“Tommy came to us after and… He’s not the same anymore. Something must have happened when he was dead. He was so worried about one of our friends being revived, like genuinely horrified. It takes a lot to scare Tommy but he changed. Dream is to be feared. He-” Ranboo stuttered and got a bit more finicky with his book. Phil looked at him and rubbed his shoulder to try to calm him down. “Dream has some sort of control over us. And me I think. I’m not exactly sure. I go into what I call ‘enderwalk’ sometimes. I can’t remember anything from when it happens but I don’t think it’s bad. I write in my journals a record of everything that happens since I lose memories. I also used to… Hear Dream’s voice inside my head. Now that he’s in prison, though, I hear him less… But I’m also going into this enderwalk state more often. Let me say it again, Dream is to be feared.” Ranboo looks up at you, his features looking more sad than before, almost sorry. You notice the scars on his face but decide to say nothing, as to not offend. “So then, how do you think he could be an option?” Ranboo relaxes slightly, but not all the way.
“Dream has a counterpart to him. A second personality that we think is what gives him these abilities and all this power. Dream XD. Dream XD is a god, almost. It’s very possible he could have targeted you, for whatever reason, to enter your mind. I’m not sure how or why he would target you. You said your journey was three days long, which means you came from at least one hundred miles from here. How he would even know who you are, I’m not sure of that either. He could have reached out to find someone vulnerable or showing weakness, and that could have been you.” You let out an exasperated sigh and rest your elbows on your knees and put your head in your hands, trying to process all this new information. Phil put his hand on your shoulder, and you allowed the gentle touch to sooth you. “I’m worried about the next time you sleep,” he says quietly. “If it happens again… If you get to meet this person and if it is Dream, be very cautious. We don’t know what he wants or why he wants you. He’s dangerous and manipulative so please be very careful and think about what you want to say to him before you say it. Pick apart his words and don’t fall for anything.” You think for a moment and look up at them.
“I hate to be like this, but I shouldn’t trust any of you either. And there’s no reason to trust me. Believe me, I want to fully trust you. You all seem so nice. But we’re still strangers. I’ve had my guard up here, too. Why should I trust anything you three have to say anyway?” The room goes quiet and Phil takes his hand back. Ranboo tries to disagree but Phil cuts him off. “No, Faer is right. You can’t trust us, as much as we can’t trust you. But you have to at least give us a shot. We can protect you. Techno is… A loose canon sometimes, but he means well and if he knows I mean to protect someone, then he protects too. He tried killing Ranboo when he first showed up here, but when he realized I had taken him in, he started protecting him with his own life. He means business.” You nod but stay silent, the only sound in the room being the crackling of the dying fire and dogs barking softly from a distance. Phil gets up from his seat and looks down at Ranboo, who was reading through the book on his lap, quill in hand, completely lost in thought. “Ranboo, are we going?” Ranboo doesn’t respond, too lost in thought to notice, so you speak up. “It’s ok. He can stay as long as he likes. I made this room as cozy as I could on purpose. I write as well and planned to use this as a sort of getaway.” Phil nods and you walk him to the door where you both say your goodbyes.

Okay so I saw
This post ^^
And I was like
Wait wait wait okay okay hang on wait a damn minute-
Because this is cursed rite we all know this is cursed but somethin about it got me thinkin it got me thinking quite a lot and it’s the idea of Callahans character being deaf and like obviously the way it’s done here is bad but it got me thinking okay well what if you did it well? What if it wasn’t garbage? What if it became a super important part of the show?
I think I have a new favorite au now?
Okay listen listen let me explain right-Callahan would still be a side character to the side characters but first things first he’d talk using sign language and literally the first thing that he signs when people try and talk to him is that he’s deaf. He also wouldn’t be able to understand people who talk to him, they’d have to either sign, write something down, or be super expressive. (Ik a lot of deaf people read lips but I feel like in media with deaf people almost all the time they like fully rely on lip reading and their almost superhumanly good at it and idk I think it would be cool for a deaf character to just not lip read-hardly ever) so now the fact that he’s deaf isn’t just something that you can drop in interviews for brownie points. Still, he’s hardly ever there and he’s not really a part of the story and that’s just kind of annoying and for a while it seems like that’s just how it’s gonna be, just one background background deaf character who’s pretty cool but who we almost never get to see...
But the explosions that went off during the pogtopia manburg war where pretty fuckin loud
And Quackity was right on top of them. He might’ve lost a cannon life to them-it’s kinda up for debate but for the purpose of the au we’re gonna say he did, because losing a cannon life affects your body. Your body changes to suit how you died-you get scars from losing a cannon life.
Here’s where it gets good
One of the next episodes post war is 100% Quackity focused and he wakes up in a bed and he’s like welp lets just hope I’m not as bad off as Tubbo was. There’s no rustling noise when he moves the sheets and blankets to look at himself, at this point the viewer might realize there’s no music in the background either, there’s no ambient noises from outside. Quackity sees he doesn’t have visible scaring anywhere and he’s like that’s weird but good for me? I guess? He walks outside and his footsteps don’t make any noise. Tubbo runs up to him and starts talking-except he’s not making any noise either. His mouth is moving but there’s no sound coming out of it. Both quackity and the viewer are currently experiencing what’s going on in 100% silence and Quackity starts to panic. A scar would’ve been fine, a limb he can live without, but this??? He can’t hear! He can’t hear anything! Fuck is he supposed to do now?
He runs to Sapnap and Karl, they’re not dating yet but they make him feel safe and he doesn’t know where else to go or what to do and Sapnaps like “I know a guy” but neither the audience nor Quackity hears him say it. His mouth moves but again, no sound. Nothing. Still he makes it clear that he has an idea and that he’ll be right back. Mans fuckin books it to Callahan and after a bit of frantic gestures and sloppy sign language because ya know of course Sapnap did try to learn sign to talk to Callahan at some point he just doesn’t practice nearly enough, Callahan comes over to Quackity and starts teaching him and Karl ASL and gives Sapnap a much needed review course.
That’s it. That’s the episode. An entire episode that’s 100% silent with no subtitles, that’s just Quackity learning how to function without being able to hear. In the places where Callahan can’t help Sapnap and Karl come in. Tubbo gets in on it too since he’s deaf in one ear ever since the festival. (Quackitys like damn cheif I didn’t even kno that and Tubbo admits to thinking it was just him being in shock for a long time until a bee flew around his ear for 20 minutes straight a week after the festival had happened and he didn’t know it was there until Tommy asked if he was gonna name it.) Quackity learns how to talk when he can’t hear himself speaking, how to read lips, what music is like when you can’t hear it, how to speak sign language, all that jazz.
One of the things about being deaf that scares the shit out of Quackity is not being able to hear people sneaking up on him and Tubbos like “oh you need a spotter” and Quackity makes it clear that he has no idea what the fuck that means. So Tubbo explains “a spotter, I don’t know if they actually have a different name but I call them that cuz they cover your blind spot. They’re like your eyes and ears where you don’t have any. That way nobody can sneak up on you.” If the audience is particularly observant they’ll realize that ever since the festival Tommy has always stood on Tubbos right, witch is where Tubbo had gotten scarred. (Later on after Tommy’s exiled Quackity and sometimes Fundy become the ones to cover Tubbos right, but Tubbo is more clearly on constant high alert than he used to be. On a few days like the one before the capturing techno and the one before the second festival he’s straight up jumpy and he hates it) So Quackity of course has a lot of questions is this is pretty important. “well how do I know who I should get to be my spotter? Do they need like training or something? Should I just get a service dog? ???” And Tubbos like “No. Well-maybe that’s the proper way to do it but I’d just go with someone I trust my life with-whoever makes you feel safest, go with that” and Sapnap and Karl start laughing like idiots because Quackity IMMEDIATELY grabs them-like Tubbos barley finished his sentence and Quackitys like ah yes
The hardest part is preserving Quackitys ability to speak Spanish, because he’s the only one who knows it so Karl Sapnap and Tubbo can’t tell him weather he’s pronouncing it right or not and none of them know Spanish sign language. Hell Karl and Tubbo didn’t even know Spanish sign language existed until that day. After a bit of panicking Sapnap is like “wait I know a guy” and Quackity can actually tell what he’s saying this time. (Woo parallels) So sapnap and Co. go to George who’s king now and has access to all of Erets king stuff. Turns out Erets castle has a whole shelf of translation guides for different languages and their sign language counterparts. She kept them for diplomacy reasons. It’s much harder to learn without Callahan teaching it, but progress is made and the gang decides they’ll keep working on learning it together. There’s still the problem of Quackity not being able to speak Spanish though, they end up going with does Quackity sound like how he normally does rn? for figuring out if he’s pronouncing things right. Karl and Sapnap are surprisingly good at being able to tell.
But here’s the best part rite:
So after this episode Quackity, Karl, Sapnap, Tubbo, and obvs Callahan all know sign language-they don’t all know it perfectly nobody’s gonna master it in a day but they’re working on it. And so now in later episodes in addition to the gang talking in sign language a lot when they’re the focus of a scene, you can make them talk to eachother in sign language while other stuff is going on!! No subtitles to translate or draw attention to it, some people might not even notice its happening, but if you watch them you can see them signing to eachother. You could add so many convos and lore and secrets and the best part is if the audience wants in on it they also have to learn sign language!!
Literally just-oh my god it would be the coolest thing okay like immagine:
Ranboos doing his dramatic speech to everyone. Y’all know the one-the one before doomsday after Tommy gets out of exhile. So like Ranboos doing his bit and Fundy and Nikki are arguing with him and :0! what’s this? Look in the background and Tubbo and Quackity are signing to eachother, Quackitys angry and Tubbo is somehow angrier and you watch them more closely to see what the hell is going on and realize (with your sign language knowledge)-they’re fighting about executing Ranboo.
LIKE HOW FUCKING COOL WOULD THAT BE HOLY SHIT
Anyways I have so many headcannons for this now I think it’s the coolest thing if there’s like a tag? Or something? For this thatd be so fuckin cool if there isn’t I feel like I should make one but idk what to call it ion know man I just think this is poggers as hell. To think it all sprung from someone making a DreamSMP as a garbage riverdale show joke
