I know I’m a little late, but I would like to say Happy Birthday to Tim Curry who, if my math is correct, turned 77 today! By an amazing coincidence, I watched 2 episodes of The Mighty Ducks (the cartoon from 1996, not the movie) today. It’s getting a little late for anything like the TV mini-series, It or The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but I will be watching A Christmas Carol with Tim Curry since I get to watch, not only one of his more obscure films, but one where he sings so that’s a big win.

OH MY GOD FERNGULLY?!?!!! That movie feels like a fever dream now, hardly anyone I know remembers it 😭

I will never forget that movie. I think my parents were like, "Robin Williams, sure, go enjoy!" And then I was HORRIBLY TRAUMATIZED. I vividly remember it being on tv at a shoe store we went to, and running to my mom when Hexxus came on.

Although, Batty was iconic.

Im just... I can't get the thought of the tub death scene with Paul and the concept of the boys surviving, and this is how he comes back. Just in a flood of thick, mud-like blood as his body reforms while singing "Hit me one time... Hit me twice...~" of Toxic Love has me FOAMING AT THE MOUTH

When I rewatched FernGully: The Last Rainforest I realized that I had to hint to the world how much we need an ai cover for this song. The idea for Hexxus Donnie appeared into my head almost instantly due to their shared mischievous energy and Rottmnt Donnie's sheer obsession with progress and finding fuel for their big machines (There is no Uranium without U, remember?)
