virgin!chrissy cunningham x fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: whilst watching 'black swan' with your best friend, a certain sex scene comes on the screen, to which chrissy is very intrigued as to what it feels like...
warnings: SMUT!! oral (chrissy receiving.) orgasms. kissing. pet names (honey, sweetie, baby.) teensy bit of corruption kink. virgin!chrissy. experienced!reader. queer!reader. swearing. 'black swan' spoilers? 2010s!au. mentions of homophobia. food mentions. some fluff at the end!! [1.8k].
a/n: thank you so much for the request, hun!! just wanna preface by saying thank you to my queer best friend and random posts on reddit for helping me with the description of this. my poor lil virgin self was confused as to how to describe the sensations, but hopefully i got it somewhat accurate in the end :')
Tumblr media
You and your best friend Chrissy are enjoying a girls sleepover at your place on a beautiful spring Friday night. Your parents were out of town on a conference trip, so you had the entire place to yourself. Perfect for the both of you to be silly, have aggressive pillow fights, and watch ‘Black Swan’ at the loudest volume possible.
You two are about an hour into the film, occasionally tucking into the bowl of popcorn laid out in front of you. But, you’d both much rather prefer to dig into your individual bars of chocolate on the bedside counters.
You would be lying if you didn’t put this film on for a little bit of self-pleasure for yourself. Although an early 2010’s movie, the sex scene in this film was actually targeted towards a female audience, so it felt special to feel yourself represented authentically on screen in a sexual sense this early on in film history.
When Nina and Lily’s lips crash into one another, Chrissy lets out a little “Oh my gosh!” beside you. Chrissy was always accepting of your queerness, despite the snide remarks from her parents anytime you went to her house. Her shock was obviously related to the context of the movie, the scene was a pure shock factor after all.
However, Chrissy’s eyes seem to dilate when Nina’s head is thrown back, Lily’s mouth attached to her cunt as she eats the woman out.
“Um…” Chrissy squeaks out, “What does that feel like? With, you know… another woman?”
Your eyes take note of the way Chrissy’s thighs are pretty close together, almost squeezing as a way to relieve something…
And it’s hot. It’s super fucking hot.
Your attitude immediately changes to one of sensuality, teeth lightly grazing your bottom lip, angling your body to the side as you sneakily look her up and down in her pink nightdress.
“Why? Is it making you feel a certain way?” you ask, trying to get her to speak up.
Her pussy tightens at the words, her eyebrows raising as she purses her lips, “Feels good… down there.”
She is very shy with you, a new side of her unlocking that the neither of you were aware of. You understand how scary it is realising that maybe you aren’t as straight as you thought you were, so you try to make the situation as comfortable as possible for her.
You grab her bare thigh, pushing it apart, her moisturised, smooth skin brushing softly against your fingertips. Your other hand runs gently across the centre of her cloth-covered vulva, appreciating the way she flinches against your touch. “Yeah? Right here?”
She nods, her eyes not being able to look away from the sight of your black-painted fingernails tracing against her. She never thought she would be so into this. She’s only been with Jason in the past, and he was abstinent, so this would not only be her first time with a girl, but her first time altogether.
“Do you want me to show you what it feels like, Chris?”
“Um…” she thinks, a little hesitant on the whole situation. “I’ve never done this before…” she quietly speaks out.
“Hey, hey,” you shush her softly, “That’s okay.” Your hand flutters tenderly against the side of her cheek, “I can guide you completely through this, okay? And if at any time you want to stop, just let me know, okay?”
She lets out a sigh, nodding softly, “I’m just scared…”
“Scared about what, honey?”
Her breath hitches at the word ‘honey.’ She already liked the sound of that. She wanted to hear you say that more. It was so sweet, so tender, so… loving.
She gulps, “I’m scared I won’t like it…”
You chuckle softly, “As I said, you can stop any time you want. But, the way your pretty little thighs flinched at my touch… I think you’ll enjoy a whole lot.”
She didn’t realise how much notice you had taken to her small actions of pleasure like that. If you took note of that, what would happen when she couldn’t even try to hide it any longer?
You shift your body so your face is in line with her legs, beginning to delicately place tender kisses along the insides of her thighs. Your fingertips knead into her plushy skin, cupping perfectly into the palms of her hands. You refrain from giving her hickeys, although you’d really like to, just in case her parents notice when she wears that nightdress, or even her cheer uniform, at home.
You tap the lining of her underwear with your pointer finger, “Legs up, sweetie.”
Those pet names were gonna send her to Heaven, but before she can dwell on that, she follows your soft-spoken commands, lifting her legs up so you can delicately remove her pink panties, perfectly matching with her nightdress.
You sigh as you take in the sight of her pretty pussy, “Wow, baby… So gorgeous.” You move your middle finger through her glistening folds, her slick immediately collecting on her fingers. Chrissy lets out a soft sigh above you, her legs flinching at the sensation.
“So wet for me, honey. You ready to find out what it feels like?”
She nods more confidently now, the scene long gone on the small television perched on your bedroom dresser.
“Okay. Just tell me if it’s too much, okay?”
She hums in response, before you dive into her pussy. You drag your tongue from her puckered hole to her clit, swirling your tongue around it, letting her feel every sensation of pleasure.
Chrissy cannot believe what she is experiencing. Everything is so… smooth. Your mouth is so warm, and adds so much extra wetness to what she could already feel between her thighs. The sensation is truly unlike anything she had experienced before.
Your tongue is flicking side to side on her clit, Chrissy’s soft moans filling the air, the calm sounds of the film fading behind you. That was no longer the focus. She was the focus. Only her.
She can feel the sensations all over her body, to the point where she feels as if she’s floating, “Gosh, that’s so nice…”
“Yeah?” you come up for air, “Is it as good as you imagined?”
“Better,” she squeaks out, your mouth wrapping around her clit and sucking, causing her to take a harsh intake, “It’s so warm and tingly.”
“Mhmm,” you mumble against her core, completely unaware of the absolute vibrations it would send through her, Chrissy let out a loud cry.
“Holy shit babe, you sound so pretty for me,” you let out without a second thought, you mind consumed by Chrissy.
You’re determined now, your movements speeding up as her moans become more jagged, her hips softly moving against your face. You let her body take over, wanting her to experience everything she ever needed. You could always be rough and demanding with her another time. God, you hoped there was another time.
What once started as small waves were slowly growing into large tides. What she would normally run away from with squeaks and giggles at the beach was the complete opposite here. She wanted to be drowned in them forever.
“Uh, uh, uh, uh.” Those were the only sounds escaping Chrissy’s mouth, her eyes closed and head thrown back. She was on a different planet entirely, never wanting to descend back to Earth.
You moaned, licked, sucked, anything to get her closer to that edge. You could sense by the way her legs were closing further and further into your head, she was almost there. You just had to get her to that final wave.
“Sweet— Sweetie, my gosh. My gosh, something is happening. Feels so good.”
“That’s it, baby,”you cooed at her, “Almost there for me. Just a little bit more, I got you, honey.”
There was something about her innocence about it all that sent your brain into a spiral. The fact she had never felt an orgasm in her life was something you were determined to keep sacred to yourself. You wanted to be her first… and definitely only.
“Ah, ah! I’m gonna— My gosh, oh!”
“Honey, honey, baby, look at me,” you encourage her. She hadn’t opened her eyes in a long time, not even throughout any of your praise, but something in her mind compelled her to look down at you. And thank god she did.
You make direct eye contact with her, completely parting with her lips as you lowly say, “Cum for me,” before sucking as hard as you can on her pretty, swollen clit.
She lets out a loud whine, thighs trapping you against her as they shake uncontrollably. It feels like fireworks have exploded in her stomach, electric shocks being sent to her brain as she has not a single thought in her mind. It’s so… consuming, mind-numbing. She doesn’t even know where she is. Heaven, Earth, Mars, she doesn’t care, as long as she gets to experience that again… and experience it with you.
Her legs are still shaking as you part from her clit, your hands massaging the plushy skin in order to relax her body and muscles. “You doin’ okay?” you ask gently, Chrissy still looking utterly blissed out.
“Yes… I wanna feel that again.”
“You do, huh?” you chuckle with a sweet kiss to her inner thigh, “Well, I’m happy to oblige. But, for now, I think you need some rest.”
The movie is coming towards the end, only a couple more scenes before the ending. You’ll have to watch it again with her someday, hopefully not getting too distracted this time.
You encourage Chrissy to go to the bathroom whilst you set up the bed, discarding of the uneaten snacks and fluffing the pillows for an ultimate night of comfort.
As she returns, her make-up had been removed, much to your dismay. Seeing her mascara dripping down her cheeks was a sight you’d wish to see every goddamn day on this Earth.
She tucks herself in neatly beside you, snuggling under the covers and facing you. She opens her arms up, encouraging you to cuddle her, to which you agree, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek as you get comfy.
“Thank you,” she simply whispers.
“Of course. Anytime, okay?”
She hums, before slowly drifting off into a deep and content sleep. You had no idea where this had left you in terms of the friendship and relationship barrier, but it was something you could worry about in the morning. For now, you could fall asleep with the prettiest girl in existence in your arms, and that’s all that mattered.

One Bed night 3
Night One, Night Two
This time, it was Salim who woke first. He found Jason asleep, his fingers having loosened their grip on Salim's shirt, his head tilted toward Salim's fingers. Salim's heart beat a little faster noticing their closeness. Warmth swelled deep in his body. His eyes flicked to the freckles scattered on Jason's cheeks. His fingers twitched as he fought the impulse to touch—hair, cheek, hand, anywhere. Salim let out a breath and pulled away. He would claim the first shower this morning and be rid of the bulge pressing against his crotch.
Salim felt much calmer when he exited the bathroom. He found Jason awake and waiting his turn. The young marine's half-asleep expression shifted to something more alert. Salim suddenly wished he hadn't chosen to walk out of the bathroom in just his underwear. He didn't give his middle-aged, hairy body much thought, but after seeing the more lean and hairless Jason, he couldn't help the sudden attack of self-consciousness.
“Mornin',” Jason drawled. “You wanna head to breakfast together?”
“Sure,” Salim agreed. He padded over to get dressed while Jason showered. He wished there could be some balance between how casual and easy it could feel between them, and how tense and awkward.
They spent the day on tours again, only they experienced all the tours together. Salim had discovered yesterday that touring was a lot like how Jason described drinking: not as fun alone. Besides that, Jason usually whispered a funny remark during the tours. It added a bit of playful energy to everywhere they went. They ate lunch and dinner together, chatting and teasing each other the whole time.
After dinner, they strolled past shops. Now and then they paused to look at what was in the display windows before moving on. They eventually found their way to a bar. Salim remembered suggesting they have drinks tonight. He wasn't surprised Jason was going to make him see that promise through.
Inside, the atmosphere was a little loud with televisions going. Salim pointed to a table away from all the noise.
“You sure you're okay with this?” Jason asked once they sat. “It ain't haram or whatever?” Salim's eyebrows shot up; he had talked about halal and haram with Jason over breakfast, but didn't expect the man to remember.
“I think Allah will forgive me having one drink with a friend,” he responded. “What game is that?” He nodded to the televisions meaningfully.
“Basketball,” Jason told him after a quick glance. “It' ain't really my thing.”
“Yes, I remember. Something about a Super Bowl?” Salim smiled at the memory. He, of course, hadn't understood a word Jason said at the time. It sounded good, and Jason seemed so pleased, so the gleeful energy had rubbed off. Jason met his smile; the gleam in his eyes assured he was remembering, too.
A waiter came by and took their very simple order of two beers. They were given bottles within minutes.
“Cheers.” Jason lifted his bottle.
“Cheers,” Salim echoed, and they tapped before taking a swallow. Salim tried not to immediately cough his out. “Ugh, it's been a very long time since I drank.”
“No hoppin' through single bars, huh?” Jason teased.
“I don't think we have those in my town. I wasn't ready to find out.” Salim took another small sip. Jason mimicked him and the two fell silent, listening to the game and the chatter around them. “So, did you, ah... hop single bars?” Salim asked after a moment.
“Nope.” Jason shifted a little on his seat. His eyes flicked briefly to Salim, then dropped to the table. “Weren't any I liked.”
“Do you like this one?”
Jason's eyes flicked up again and he shrugged. “So far.”
Eventually the conversation moved on to other things. They finished their beers and spent a few minutes watching the game. Or rather, Salim stared at the screen listening to Jason explain what was happening. It might not have been his thing, but he still understood it far better than Salim.
They made it back to their room, where Jason went to the bathroom first to brush his teeth while Salim got undressed. An unexpected heaviness weighed down when he thought of them only spending one more night together. The experience was so much better than he could have anticipated.
“Hey.” Jason's head poked out of the bathroom. “You gonna wear one of those dumb pun shirts?”
“I thought you liked my pun shirts,” Salim retorted, turning to face the younger man. He was much less conscious of his bare chest than this morning.
“I do.” Jason flashed a smile. “It's why I asked.”
“Which one's your favorite?” Jason took a moment to answer. Salim found his eyes gravitating to the dog-tags resting against Jason's bare skin.
“The omelette.” Jason's answer snapped Salim out of his daze.
They switched so Salim could use the bathroom. He stepped out and found Jason already under the sheets. Something about that made Salim feel warm all over. He went over to check the air conditioning to make sure the settings were okay. They looked fine, so he went around to his side of the bed and got in.
“Nice shirt,” Jason noted.
“You said you liked it,” Salim reminded him. Jason just smiled. That air conditioning couldn't be working, because Salim was still warm. “That ball game was interesting,” Salim spoke up. “I didn't think American balls were round.”
“You see many American balls?” Jason asked. The way he dipped his voice sounded almost suggestive.
“There's what you call a football,” Salim pointed out. “It's not round.”
“I don't think you can judge our balls from just one.” There was that tone in Jason's voice again.
“I feel like you're messing with me, but I can't figure out how.”
“Give it time.” Jason looked like he was fighting not to laugh. “It'll come to ya.” Salim frowned at him while Jason kept grinning. There was a playful brightness in his eyes that Salim recognized from the other times he teased Salim.
Salim ran through their conversation in his head again. Oh. His mouth dropped open and his eyes widened. Jason snickered.
“That,” Salim declared, “was an awful joke.” He pointed to the words on his shirt. “Omelette that slide.” Jason laughed, leaning forward just enough to let his tags dangle in the space between them.
“You always been such a dork?”
“Probably.” Salim reached out to catch the tags between his fingers. “But I think you like it.”
“Probably,” Jason nodded. They sat there for a few heartbeats. There was a charged energy in the space. Salim broke it by releasing the tags. He reclined on the mattress, Jason following a moment later. The silence continued stretching on. Salim knew Jason had to be hearing his thoughts, but the marine didn't say so.
After a while Jason wiggled a bit and propped his arm on the pillow just above Salim's head. His fingertips lightly brushed against Salim's hair. Salim swallowed; he had unconsciously done the same last night. He closed his eyes and let himself feel it all.

i worked a double at the bar today (not scheduled, other bartenders were out of town and the scheduled person was. in the hospital. he's okay dw) and since it was super bowl sunday that's how i mainly centered my small talk w guests. anyways i had a guy sitting at the empty bar around shift change and we started talking about the taylor swift vs. pissy nfl fans dramatics and he told me how him and a few other dad friends were actually really happy taylor started dating an nfl player. at first i was like ??? but he went on to say it got their 10 year old daughters to watch games with them for the first time. they were just pretty stoked to be able to spend some more time with them, teaching em about how football works. i see a lot of "swifties ruin everything we cant even have football now!!" bs and i used to just ignore it bc people will ridicule a woman for any and everything but damn. now whenever i see t swift and travis kelce trending all i'll be able to think about are the dads and daughters having fun together. the dude got 2 stellas btw

Most recently, she’s been dating the NFL star Travis Kelce, as has been well documented when she attends his games. “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she says. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.” She is sensitive to the attention that’s put on her when she shows up. “I’m just there to support Travis,” she says. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
I point out that it’s a net positive for the NFL to have a few Swifties watching. “Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift says playfully. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.” (A game she attended in October was the most-watched Sunday show since the Super Bowl.)
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” she says. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” The larger point, for her, is that there’s nothing to hide. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she says. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
Taylor attends the premiere of "Poor Things" in support of friend Emma Stone, Rockefeller Center, NYC. Taylor sat with Laura Dern, Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson

🌴Lucky Palms🌴
Marisol - Saturday Night Fever (long) Part 1
Tumblr media
It's just before 7 pm. The old warehouse, which has been converted into a discotheque/bar/arcade hall, is expecting many guests today. Clark and his band have invited virtually the whole town. Anyone who wants to come is welcome. And nobody knows how this evening will end….
Tumblr media
"Man, don't overdo it now, Ozzy, do you hear me?"/ "Why… It's all for shit now anyway…"/ "But you're not doomed to die, now come back down and put the bottle away again. You'd better take care of the music system". Oscar received two pieces of news today that threw him off course. Not just him… but also his future wife and all his other close friends.
Tumblr media
As no DJs were available today, the decision was made to use the Auto DJ system. Lots of music, put together on the computer and now played via USB stick. "System running"/ "I can hear that too, at least turn it down a bit so that people can still talk".
Tumblr media
Shortly before 8 p.m., Marisol enters the hall. The music is loud, but not booming. She looks around, not too many people, but at least there's a bit going on… She was almost two hours late. But there was no need to get upset… "Hey…".
Tumblr media
After she heard his voice and then saw him, she went to him. "Well, it's a bit lame, isn't it?"/ "yeah, but I'm sure there'll be more going on later. I didn't realize that the Super Bowl was still on TV today… Are you okay?"/ "mhm. Are the others here too?"/ "Only Oscar, the others had other plans today".
Tumblr media
"So, are you excited about the tour yet? How many gigs do you have?"/ "um, I think 23 or so…". She raised an eyebrow with a grin. "You don't know exactly?"/ "Spike has more of an overview. Do you want a drink?"/ "hm, if there's something non-alcoholic here, you know…" She pointed to her stomach with her two index fingers. "Oh, sure, we don't want our child to become an alcoholic, right? There are non-alcoholic drinks upstairs".
Tumblr media
After a few minutes, Vivienne, Oscar's fiancée, also arrived at the bar. "Hello you two, have you seen Oscar?". Marisol looked over at her in astonishment. "Vivienne? No, I've only just arrived…". Quark reacted a little annoyed, because things are always a little tense between him and Vivienne. "He must be buzzing around here somewhere, what are you doing here anyway, didn't you want to watch your show?"/ "You know I'm not at peace about my future husband at the moment. Well, I'll find him". After Vivienne was out of sight, Marisol turned to Clark again, "Is everything okay with them?"/ "Yes, yes… Shall we go upstairs?".
Tumblr media
Slowly the hall filled up and people went to the bars, or to the dance floor if they felt like dancing. But the drinks here are the best in town at the moment. Clark is nervous on the one hand, but on the other, at least outwardly, calm…a few things have had to be sorted out in the last 24 hours. "hi, one orange juice with elderflower, please".
Tumblr media
The barman looked at her, somewhat perplexed. "Elder… What?". And Clark immediately intervened. "Are you deaf? Elderflower, the syrup, is downstairs, front row, I filled it up the Bar myself…". The barman was a little piqued. "Are you the boss here?". Clark grinned a little. "Almost, so, what is it now, the lady is thirsty"/ "o.k. o.k.… what mix ratio?"/ And again Clark had to shake his head . "Haven't you studied the recipe book? Oh man, what's wrong with you?".
Tumblr media
It took a while for the guy behind the bar to finally finish making the drink. He searched for the recipe, which was actually quite simple, for almost a minute: "I think I need to talk to your boss, apparently you've only had a crash course. Marisol looked over at him and had to laugh a little: "hnhn, hey, don't get upset, Clark, the drink tastes good, really".
Tumblr media
Clark also had a drink made. Then they both got up and carried on talking. "And otherwise… everything okay?". Marisol took a sip from her glass. "mhm, yes… I'm just writing the last chapters of my new book" / "o.k. …. What's it about?" / "hm, about a broken family" / "Oh, o.k., and, is there a happy ending?"…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Do you think I'm going to tell you the ending now? You should just read it when it's finished…"/ "Do you know when I last read a book? Just tell me"/ "Nope, I'll let you stew. There are definitely a lot of twists and turns in the story, it's exciting…"/ "hehe, and then you just grin like that". It was a casual conversation between the two of them. And they made jokes from time to time. And so Marisol continued in a cheerful tone. "Yes, because I'm convinced it's a good book."/ "hnhn, you know I only read the newspapers or something on my smartphone, but never a book"/ "hm, but on a long bus journey, from city to city, it certainly wouldn't be wrong…"/ "hnhn, yes, maybe. ". Clark finished his glass and placed it on the bar. "Fancy a bit of dancing?". She smiled and nodded.
Tumblr media
Before they could even reach the stairs, they heard Vivienne shouting loudly. "Oscar! My God…" . They saw her bending over him, he seemed to be unconscious.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
What happened? We'll find out in the next part…
@cozygirlsimmer
Note: Sometimes things happen unexpectedly when I'm doing story or gamplay. And when I saw Oscar lying there on the floor, I thought to myself, that's so fitting right now! I had a similar scene in my head, but I dismissed it again. He gave me a good template, so to speak, and that's how this and the subsequent scenes in the next part were able to come about. 🙂

A not-so-in-depth look at the NFL divisions

A not-so-in-depth look at the NFL divisions…
It’s almost September; The air is thick with the aroma of sizzling brats and the sound of beer cans cracking open. You slip on your lucky jersey, the one with the ketchup stain from last year's nail-biter, and head out to meet your buddies for the season opener. This, my friends, is the magic of NFL kickoff.
As I dive headfirst into the 2024 season, let's journey through the NFL's eight divisions. Every team has a story from the titans of the gridiron to the underdogs nipping at their heels. So, grab your foam finger and settle in; we're about to break down the upcoming season in all its glory, heartbreak, and inevitable chaos.
AFC North: Where Legends Are Forged
If the AFC North were a person, it'd be that grizzled old-timer at the bar who's seen it all and has the scars to prove it. This division isn't just competitive; it's downright brutal.
Last year, all four teams finished with winning records – a feat unseen since bell-bottoms were unironically cool (that's 1970, for you youngsters). HBO's "Hard Knocks: In Season" couldn't resist the siren call of this division's drama. I mean, who could?
Let's start with the Baltimore Ravens, last year's AFC top seed. They've lost more defensive coaches than most teams have in total. But in Baltimore, that's Tuesday. John Harbaugh probably woke up, saw the exodus, shrugged, and went back to his coffee. That's just how they roll.
Then there's Cleveland. Ah, Cleveland. The Browns are all-in on Deshaun Watson like a gambler doubling down on a hard 16. Will 2024 be the year this high-stakes bet pays off, or will Browns fans be left drowning their sorrows in Great Lakes beer... again?
Don't forget Cincinnati. They're banking on a healthy Joe Burrow like he's the second coming of Joe Montana. If his throwing arm is as golden as his hair, the Bengals might just remind everyone why they were Super Bowl darlings not so long ago.
And Pittsburgh? Mike Tomlin's been there so long that he probably has his own parking spot at Heinz Field. Now he's taking on the Russell Wilson reclamation project. It's like watching a master chef try to turn a McDonald's burger into filet mignon. Can he pull it off? In this division, anything's possible.
Buckle up, folks. This 18-week slugfest is going to leave us all black and blue – and loving every minute of it.
NFC North: The Tides of Change
Remember when the NFC North was as predictable as a Wisconsin cheese curd tasting delicious? Those days are as gone as Brett Favre's Packers jersey.
The Detroit Lions, long the NFL's favorite punching bag, have suddenly grown teeth. Their journey from "lovable losers" to "holy cow, they might actually win something" feels like it was ripped straight from a Disney sports movie. The real question is: can Dan Campbell's knee-biting, coffee-chugging energy translate into sustained success, or will the Lions pull a Detroit and... well, Lion?
But don't write off the Packers just yet. Jordan Love spent three years marinating on the bench behind Aaron Rodgers. Now he's serving up wins like a short-order cook on a Sunday morning rush. This youth movement in Green Bay has Cheeseheads dreaming of another decade of dominance. It's as exciting as it is terrifying for the rest of the division.
Chicago Bears fans, I see you. I know you've been hurt before. But Caleb Williams might just be the real deal. He could be the franchise quarterback you've been waiting for since. Well, has Chicago ever had a truly great quarterback? This could be the year the Monsters of the Midway finally have some teeth on offense.
And the Vikings? They're in quarterback purgatory faster than you can say "J.J. McCarthy's meniscus." But hey, in the NFL, today's backup is tomorrow's MVP. Just ask Kurt Warner. Or Tom Brady. Or... you get the point.
AFC East: The King Is Dead, Long Live... Who, Exactly?
Pour one out for the New England Patriots dynasty, folks. We spent two decades penciling them in as division champs, and now the only sure bet is that they won't win it. It's like watching your high school bully become the guy who can't open pickle jars.
Now we've got a three-way dance between the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills that's wilder than a Buffalo tailgate party.
The Jets are the media darlings with a healthy Aaron Rodgers. But let's be real – this is a franchise so cursed, they could probably find a way to lose a bye week. If there's a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, the Jets will find it. It's their superpower.
Miami's been flirting with success like a commitment-phobe on Tinder. Back-to-back playoff appearances are nice, but in the land Don Shula built, "almost" is just a fancy word for "not good enough." This could be the year they finally swipe right on a division title... or get left on read again.
And then there's Buffalo. They've shed more big names than a Hollywood rehab center, but counting out a team led by Josh Allen feels like betting against gravity. The man could probably throw a football over them mountains, as Uncle Rico would say.
This division is a powder keg of potential, ready to explode. Just don't stand too close when it does.
NFC East: America's (Drama) Team(s)
If the NFC East were a TV show, it'd be a soap opera with occasional football scenes. It's got more drama than a Real Housewives reunion and just as many unexpected twists.
The Eagles took a nosedive last season faster than a Philly fan's mood after a loss. But they seem poised for a comeback. In Philly, hope springs eternal... until about Week 3.
Meanwhile, in Dallas, Jerry Jones has put everyone on notice. The Cowboys are under more pressure than a submarine at the bottom of the ocean. It's "win now or... win now" in Big D.
The Giants are hoping Daniel Jones can justify his contract like I justify eating an entire pizza by myself – with a lot of mental gymnastics and a dash of blind optimism.
And then there's Washington, the wild card with a new QB (Jayden Daniels) and a new sheriff in town (Dan Quinn). They're like that mystery flavor of potato chip – could be delicious, could be disaster.
On paper, it's a two-horse race. But in the NFC East, paper is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
AFC South: Revenge of the Nerds, NFL Edition
Remember when we all thought the AFC South would be the NFL's punching bag in 2023? The Houston Texans looked at that prediction, said "Hold my beer," and proceeded to shock the world harder than a wet finger in an electrical socket.
DeMeco Ryans, C.J. Stroud, and company didn't just win the division; they made a statement in the playoffs louder than a Texan saying "y'all." Now, with additions like Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon, Houston looks ready to build an empire faster than you can say "Remember the Alamo."
But don't count out the Jaguars. They're surely still stinging from last year's late-season collapse harder than a sunburn on a Florida beach. Trevor Lawrence and crew are out to prove that last year was the fluke, not the year before.
The Colts proved they could compete even without a star quarterback, which, in the modern NFL, is like trying to win a drag race in a golf cart. Impressive, if nothing else.
And Tennessee? New coach Brian Callahan might be the breath of fresh air they needed. Or he might be the air freshener trying to cover up last year's stink. Only time will tell.
NFC West: The 49ers and Their Supporting Cast
The 49ers have ruled this division with an iron fist for two years. They're like that one kid in school who's good at everything – you want to hate them, but damn, they make it look easy.
They're favorites to three-peat, but the rest of the division isn't exactly rolling over. The Rams bounced back last year like a rubber ball dropped from the top of the Hollywood sign. They've only gotten stronger, which should terrify everyone not wearing red and gold.
Seattle's hoping defensive guru Mike Macdonald can work more magic than Houdini. If he can make their defense disappear and reappear as a top unit, the Seahawks might just swoop in for the upset.
And don't sleep on Arizona. Kyler Murray's back, hopefully with a renewed focus on the playbook instead of Call of Duty. Add in explosive rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., and suddenly, the Cardinals look less like sacrificial birds and more like phoenixes rising from the ashes.
It might be San Francisco's division to lose, but don't be shocked if this becomes the most entertaining division in football. It's like a sitcom where the straight man is surrounded by chaos – and I'm here for it.
AFC West: Living in the Chiefs' Shadow
When you share a division with the Chiefs, life isn't just hard – it's like trying to run a marathon while carrying Patrick Mahomes on your back. Just ask the Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos how that feels.
Kansas City might not have cruised to the playoffs last year, but betting against them feels like playing Russian roulette with five loaded chambers. At this point, the Chiefs don't rebuild; they reload.
But here's the million-dollar question: can anyone challenge the ketchup king's throne?
Sean Payton's cooking something in Denver, and it smells a lot like hope... or maybe that's just the altitude. Antonio Pierce brings fresh energy to Las Vegas, turning the Raiders from a punchline into a potential contender.
And the Chargers? They've got Jim Harbaugh now. If anyone can exorcise the Chargers' demons, it's the khaki-wearing, milk-chugging quarterback whisperer himself.
The AFC West might not be the powerhouse it was hyped to be a couple of years ago, but calling it boring would be like calling Chiefs fans "kind of into football." That's a massive understatement.
NFC South: The Island of Misfit Teams
If you're looking for parity, you've come to the wrong place. The NFC South has become a testament to mediocrity, the participation trophy of NFL divisions.
Tampa Bay won the division in 2023 with a 9-8 record. That's like being the tallest kid in kindergarten – sure, you're at the top, but the competition isn't exactly fierce. And this was an improvement over their 8-9 division-winning record in 2022. At this rate, they might break .500 by 2025!
But don't despair, NFC South fans. There's hope on the horizon, and it's wearing red and black.
Atlanta's gone on a spending spree that would make a lottery winner blush. They've brought in Kirk Cousins, Matthew Judon, and Justin Simmons. It's like they're playing real-life Madden with the salary cap turned off.
New Orleans is rebooting its offense like a 90s sitcom getting a gritty modern remake. Will it work? Who knows, but it'll be fun to watch.
And Carolina... oh, Carolina. They've got nowhere to go but up under new coach Dave Canales. When your previous season is a dumpster fire, even a tire fire looks like progress.
It's a division of second chances and redemption stories. Who doesn't love a good comeback tale? Well, maybe fans of the other 28 teams, but who's counting?
In Conclusion: Buckle Up, Buttercup
From the gladiatorial arena of the AFC North to the redemption-seeking NFC South, the 2024 NFL season promises more twists and turns than a pretzel factory. We're in for a rollercoaster of emotions, breakout performances, and upsets so shocking they'll make your grandfather's dentures fall out.
Whether you're a die-hard fan who paints your face every Sunday or a casual observer who just likes to watch large men run into each other, there's a storyline here for everyone.
So grab your jersey (yes, even you, Jets fans), fire up the grill, and settle in. The next five months are going to be one hell of a ride. After all, in the NFL, the only certainty is uncertainty – and that's precisely why we can't look away.

If you are looking for a guy in finance, don't.
Why is it always the men you didn't even find that attractive ending up hurting you the most?
I am yet again finding myself alone with mascara marks running down my face. The hellish difficulty level of modern day dating as a 30 something year old is a tale that skips like my most overplayed Taylor Swift vinyl record. But unlike one of the most successful billionaire pop sensation, her heartbreaks are sang by millions around the world, while I'm typing alone in this new personal blog; similar to Taylor Swift, I also am lucky enough to be at the company of my cat.
The hero, or shall we say the antagonist, of the story today, is this dashingly successful old-school investment banker, for the sake of the story, we shall just call him Banker, I am too polite to use the W word that would rhyme.
In classic 2024 fashion, I met Banker online. We were both working insane hours, and found comfort in each others' company in the hours past midnight through neverending text exchanges and personal stories. Our first date happened on a whim. I had just finished bowling and dinner with a group of friends, didn't want to head home, he had just finished work, so we agreed to meet up at this shabby cocktail bar with very limited drink choices. I remember the first thought I had seeing him in person was he's shorter than I imagined, second thought was huh he's got a disporportionally big head. It was almost a relief to feel I don't find him that physically attractive, without a stable job at the time, I didn't think I had any spare energy for anything more than a casual fling.
The conversation went on and on and on til the bar was closing down, this would be an usual occurance for our dates. We had talked about my dating experience with finance bros, his bad dating experiences back home, my spineless Aussie boss that got me laid off, and my gripe against Australians, for context, Banker is from down south. He would sympathize with my experience, and give me unsolicited, and probably inappropriate geo-cultrual background of different Aussie cities and what people from there are like ('Men from Adelaide are all cowards, they're just like that"). When he walked me home, gentlemanly ('Let me walk you to roughly where you live, I'm not asking you to show me exact location or anything.'), it was already 3 in the morning.
If I'd to be completely honest, I was intrigued but not super impressed. He was nice enough to listen to me, nice enough to pay for the bill, but I couldn't get over how judgemental he was, and, shameful to admit, how short he was, and of course, who can forget, the disporportional big head.
I went out with him again the coming Tuesday because we had already arranged and booked it even before our first date. I had been caught up in 2 very demanding project at the time, but didn't want to cancel because I hated, still do, canceling on people. We met up at this punk themed fushion Japanese restaurant. Right of the bat, I told him I've only got 2 hours because of work, and to my surprise, he even set an alarm for me on his phone.
Again the conversation flowed effortlessly. We people watched a bit and judged a group of strangers together. He was wearing this ridiculously formal suit, juxtaposing my super casual T-shirt and jeans, looked so out of place in the graffiti and sticker covered restaurant, with a full-size harley on display and Blink-182 blasting in the background. He seemded to take it as a mission to get me home in time. I said it's ok I could take a bus, but he insisted to share a taxi with me since it was quicker and he lived on the way. Before he got off the taxi, he handed me some cash to cover the taxi fee, which again, consistant with his old-fashioned gentleman behavior. I even joked, I usually charge more than that, and he giggled.
The third time we went out, would be the first time we kissed. We went to this quaint wine and dine bar, he loves wine. He'd order for the both of us, with my permission of course, and would serve the food on my plate first. I think that gesture might be the first time i felt impressed. In hindsight, it was never him always paying the bill, or his metal Amex card, or his fancy sea view apartment, it was always the small gestures made me felt he was taking care of me, that got me deeply hooked.
On that date, he'd start to share very intimate stories with me, about his family, his upbringing, his dad's unhinged cheating stories, which encouraged me to share my dad's physically abusive tendencies, and his cheatings. Then we'd start talking about politics. I think that was the moment he found himself genuinely attracted to me, I could see it from the most cliched spark in his eyes. He kissed me there with this intense passion, as the restaurant's waiters were burning our skulls with irritated stares, because as stated before, we've overstayed their business hours. As we were heading out, I was fully prepared to grab an uber home and call it a night. But my lightweight wobbly body disagreed with me. So I told him, I know you live close, I really need to lie down, this does not mean I'm sleeping with you, I purely, just need to lie down. So we went to his place, it was this incredible spacious 2 bedroom with open kitchen modern high rise apartment, overlooking the gorgeous skyline and the ocean. But I was too drunk out of my mind to look at any of that, I just saw he's got a playstation 5, and I wanted give it a go.
That night he was respective to my boundary, not with acceptable amount of trying though. It was too much alcohol, or unfamiliar environment, or his heavy breathing, or his cuddling, I didn't sleep at all. Around 6 am in the morning, I decided to take my exhausted body to somewhere I'm guaranteed a sound sleep - the sofa. That was when I noticed his book collection, many, many language variations of 1984 by George Orwell, together with Animal Farm, some classics, and also a poem collection by Keats. It was brand new. I wanted him to see me first thing in the morning, in the soft sunlight, reading poetry, in his oversized tshirt, like a scene straight out of a rom com, so I went to the bathroom to apply some light makeup.
He didn't wake up for at least another 3 hours, and poetry and Keats could start get boring after 3 hours. I had texted him jokingly, 'still asleep, so lazy, how very un investment banker of you'. When he finally woke up and stepped out of his undecorated bare minimum white bedroom, he had this most squished facial expression and simply asked me 'you alright?'. Not very romantic.
That morning, we had coffee together, watched Peep Show together, had takeout McDonald's, he worked a bit, until I had to go meet with my friend. 'I just realized this is the first time I'm seeing you in daylight.' I said, to which he agreed.
I think the anxiety came right after that day. He started to text me less, I'd wait for hours only to get a one sentence, or sometimes even 2 words reply. I'd check with him is everything ok? He'd only say yeah just work being busy. Then my past experiences of people ghosting me started to creep up on me. I'd start to spiral wondering if it was me rejecting sex, if I did anything wrong in the morning, was I not super ladylike chugging down the big mac.
When he still didn't ask me out on Thursday, I panicked. On Friday, I couldn't wait anymore for the other shoe to drop, so I asked him out for dinner on Saturday. To my pleasant surprise, he said yes.
It was this family run French bistro, quite pricy, but the food and drinks definitely matched the price. The joy seeing him walking into the restaurant shocked me, I wasn't expecting to be this happy to see him. It was in that restaurant I learned how particular he was about food ('Escargot needs to be presented in their shells so that I know it's fresh.'). Not surprised, very onbrandly rigid.
That night after dinner, we walked to a 7/11 to grab some lemon ice cream, then walked to the seaside, sat by the bay, next to all the kids and teenagers, old men fishing, families fishing. We saw an old uncle catching squids, the ink dyed the tinest area of the opaque ocean water black, easy to overlook, but I noticed it. Inking is the cephalopod's distress signal, fighting for its life. Perhaps I should've got the message and made a run then and there, but he interupted my octopus stories with kisses by the saltwater, so maybe it was already too late.
On our taxi ride back to his place, he did the Tom putting his hand down for Shiv thing from Succession finale, again, a giant sign that in hinsight I should've caught on, but at that moment, I vividly recall was the first time I felt the butterflies. We slept together that night, he came within like 2 minutes. It was a huge ego boost for me, to know that I've concqured a man that couldn't handle me in bed, to falsely think that I've got him wrapped around my fingers now.
Oh boy was I wrong.
The lack of texting or communication never picked up afterwards like I hoped it would, he never asked me out again like I hoped he would. The more distance there was, the more obsessed I became.
My friend would tell me, as a feminist as you claim yourself to be, if you want to see him, you should have no problem asking him out, which made me question a lot of my self-imposed disapointment. Yeah I am a feminist, a feminist don't wait around for guys to ask me out, a feminist go get what I want, a feminist shall not ponder but ask straightforward questions. And that's what I did. And I am so close to take the lesson of this experience as - feminists don't understand men.
So week after week, I asked him out, I made plans. I got him mini presents from my travels to Shanghai and Tokyo (side bar, I shared the same flight to Tokyo with his dad, which was an invisible string moment overly romanticized by me at the time). We slept together again and again, the sex picked up, one evening, I, eager to prove that I'm a true feminist, even laid all my cards on the table, and asked him to date exclusively, to which he gladly agreed.
But yet again, the lack of texting or communication never picked up afterwards like I hoped it would, he never asked me out again like I hoped he would. The anxiety of him ditching me for someone else, just evovled into the anxiety of him taking me for granted and not care about me at all.
In our 3 months situationship, this anxiety was painfully prominent, but I only brought up with him once. Maybe it's my fear of conflict, or fear of abandonment, or maybe it's me wanting to show I'm 'mature' enough to know I should be able to manange my own emotions, or maybe it's because everytime I'm determined to bring it up in person, I see his somehow-became-charming-to-me disporportionally big head and heavily waxed plastic hair, and all the frustration went away I'm left with nothing but affection. Or maybe it's because I don't know where I'm going in life, so I didn't feel I'm entitled to any voice in this situationship. I don't have a straightforward answer.
Which leads us to the night that changed everything.
2 weeks ago, we met up for wine after his weekly family meal. According to Banker, he was already a bit tipsy. As per usual, we talked a little bit about politics, i laughed at him being so out of touch with real people's real life, living in his above the cloud fancy mansion doing his handsomely paid banking job. Then it happened, he cracked. Prior to that night, he had shared a lot of stories of his life, his family. But that's all there is, stories, things that happend TO him. This time, he shared the things deep down ABOUT him. He told me his mom was having a very difficult time as a single mother with 3 kids, his dad was not around, so from then, he decided to do everything in his power to take care of them, as the man of the family. He went into finance for the money, he told me he felt like his entire goal was to pay off his mother's morgage, then he could die for all he cared. It hit me, at this moment Banker stopped being the banker, he became a fully fleshed out person, with purpose other than capitalism, with a heart bigger and softer than he ever cared to reveal. I never felt closer to him.
The next day, I talked about this with my friend over dinner, we both agreed something had fundementally shifted in this connection, he's showing vulneralbility and trust, you are actually building something substantial together. So later that day, with this exhilarating revelation in mind, I called him. I told him how much I appreciated him sharing this intimate truth, and I find that really attractive, and I felt we're becoming more closer. Then the cold water hit me like the sudden storm on a beach holiday, he said 'I can't remember what I said.' So it wasn't mutual then, he didn't mean to share it with me, it turned out we had completely different experience and takeaway from the same night. The scale has made it's final tip.
After the next two weeks of unreciprocated communication, which entailed leaving me on read for days, ignoring me for days, not having any time to spend with me, I called him again tonight. It was 1 hour and 9 minutes silent tear masked with the most calm monologue from my side, and him paraphrasing the same sentence over and over again: 'I'm sorry, I thought I've made myself really clear, I'm not in the position for anything serious, it's just work. I know comms has been poor from my end, but work is work, I'm not going to change.'
Which leads us to the begining of this story, sitting in my sofa alone with mascara marks running down my face, typing like a maniac on my laptop. All these time I thought I was competing with other women, when it's always been me competing with his work. Perhaps it was his hardwired mission to take care of his family, seeing that as all there is in life, which in return resulted in him neglecting taking care of himself, which resulted in him rejecting my care for him. Or maybe it's an open shut case of trust the man the first time. However to be fair, I trusted him, I was aligned with him, then I changed, I felt, I saw him.
Maybe somewhere there is a more profound lesson in this experience, but at this moment, my key takeaway is for things to remain purely casual, let your other person stay a cutboard cutout, once you see them as a flesh and blood three dimensional human being, you start to get too emotionally attached. Perhaps that's why I'm never a fan of casual relationship and probably will never try again, that is for it to work, it requires a certain level of dehumanization, and that is something I fundementally cannot stomach.

WEEK 5: BARCELONA & FUN
Hi guys! It's Jules with another blog in Prague and this weekend in Barcelona! This week in Prague was very relaxing and chill, especially without my second class. I’m on a cooking and recipe exploring journey, so I added pictures of some of the meals that I made this week below.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Apartment dinner by me!! && Tuna bowl.
I am wholly and completely in love with Barcelona. This city had the best of everything; on top of its beautiful culture, architecture, art, food, ambiance, weather, and nightlife were top tier. One of my best friends (Frankie), who’s coming to visit me in Prague, met us in Barcelona first, and together we hit all the must-go-to stops in Barcelona. Let me go through our itinerary.
On Thursday afternoon, I landed in Barcelona and headed to our ten person Airbnb with my roomies. After meeting up with Frankie, we went to this super cute bakery with gingerbread men shaped donuts. We walked around the city for a while, hurt my bank account with a shopping spree, and then saw Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. Both of these buildings by architect Gaudi were absolutely stunning. They were both some of the most unique and intricate buildings I had ever seen. After changing for the nighttime, we headed to our dinner reservation at Robata, an upscale sushi restaurant. The okonomiyaki (a Japanese octopus pancake) and scallop aburi were to die for. We went back to the Airbnb to meet up with everyone else and got to experience Razzmatazz club together. This club was very comparable to Prague’s iconic clubs with its many dance floors, patios, and rooms. Like Madrid, Barcelona’s dinnertime occurs starting around 9 PM and their clubs are open from midnight until 6 AM.

Frankie and I woke up at the crack of dawn on Friday (aka 10 AM after a longggg night out) and healed ourselves with these fat acai bowls from Acai and Me. This acai bowl was definitely in my top three acai bowls I’ve ever had in my life. We hit the big historic sites on this day, including Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia. These Gaudi works were also mind blowing; the sheer amount of detail in each wall, ceiling, tower, and tile was just insane. They made me think about how they were even engineered to be so massive. In between our commute from Park Guell to Sagrada Familia, we accidentally hopped on the wrong tram, but it worked out for the best. We found this heavenly organic grocery store with fresh produce (I bought the best plum I’ve ever tasted) and a wide selection of foods. And on the topic of food, our dinner at Bo De B will forever live in my mind. For an enormous amount of high-quality food, we each paid just seven bucks!!! Immediately following dinner, we met back up with everyone for a boat ride off the coast. Spending time with my friends, watching a beautiful sunset, and having a quick photoshoot left me with the most content smile on my face. Huge shoutout to our captain Christian!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On Saturday, we went shopping at a huge flea market called Mercat dels Encants, where I found the perfect souvenir for my grandma (a small glass peacock to add to her glass animals collection). Continuing on our market trend, we headed to Mercado de la Boqueria with my street food lunch lineup: a refreshing papaya juice, a chicken empanada, a freshly cracked oyster, a plate of calamari, a cup of fried vegetables, and a fruit cup. We walked around the city a little longer before our tired legs gave in and took us back to the Airbnb to recuperate. At night, we stopped by a really cool speakeasy called Monk Bar, and then all ten of us had a beachside Spanish dinner at Julieta’s. Frankie and I decided to go to Shoko club, which was the perfect ending to our Barcelona getaway. Now, we’re back home (Prague!!).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All in all, Barcelona is a city that should be on everyone’s European tour in my opinion. I consider myself easy to please, but this city is just objectively beyond beautiful and perfect. I would recommend all of the places that I’ve mentioned in this blog; they were all ten out of tens. There are so many more sites and restaurants that I wish I could’ve had time for, so I will definitely be back here at some point in my life. I’ll be back next week with another blog of more fun and Frankie, but adios for now!!

May 29 - Nara
Today was probably one of the best days that I’ve had in Kyoto! Today we went to Nara. First, we stopped by Nara Park. I bought some crackers to feed the deer with, but it was a l it take scarier than I expected. We were warned that the deer would swarm you if you had any crackers, but I underestimated how bold they would be. I luckily only gathered about four deer, but I had to speed through all of the crackers so that they would leave me alone. I more so enjoyed watching other people feed them and looking at the deer that were just chilling and lying down in the shade of some trees. My friends and I took some pictures with the deer that were lying down, but I was still nervous that they would jump up or bite me or something, so I kept my photo time brief. The park was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, spanning several blocks, and I was surprised to see how freely the deer were roaming the area. Some were just walking along the sidewalk!
Next, we walked to the Kasuga Takisha Shrine. There were some deer scattered throughout our path to the shrine area, some walking around and some laying down in the grass. Here, they have long paths with pillars that three times a year house lit lanterns. Unfortunately, we were not there at one of these three times, but they have a small room that is kept dark with a blackout curtain and is lined with lit lanterns. This seeks to replicate what it would look like outside with the pathways all lit up; although the indoor replica was smaller, it was still super pretty and calming. I bought a fortune that was rolled up and held in a small wooden deer’s mouth, so now I have a small token to remember the Nara deer by!
We broke for lunch, and I tried omelette rice for the first time! It was really good; I felt like it had been a while since I had tried new Japanese food. We reconvened with the group to head to Todaiji.  This temple was definitely the most impressive and awe inspiring. Its scale was ginormous; I couldn’t believe that this was only two-thirds of its original size. The bronze buddha was also huge. My friends and I were trying to think of an equivalent to its size in America, but the closest we got was the Lincoln Memorial. In general, I have enjoyed how interactive and engaging the shrines and temples have been here in Japan. At Todaiji, there were two main interactive elements. Inside the temple, you could try to fit through a hole “the size of the Buddha’s nostril”, and if you could get through, you would ensure enlightenment in your next life. The line for this was long, so I just watched a couple of my classmates try to get through. The second thing (the first thing I actually did) was that, outside the temple, you could rub a statue and then rub a part of your body that hurts or needs healing, and that it would be healed.
Our group broke up for the day, so my friends and decided to go to Uji as it was on the way back to the hotel. Uji is renowned for its high quality matcha, so as a matcha fan, I was excited to say the least. I bought some matcha powder for myself and my friends at home who like matcha, and then I bought some tools so that I can start making my own matcha at home or at school. I bought a whisk and a measuring spoon. I was so tempted to buy a bowl too, but I was scared that it would break during the journey home. Instead, I’m hoping to find a set of bowls at either the Asian market I go to at home or the one I go to in Gainesville. One of my friends on this trip likes matcha as much as I do, so we both got iced matcha lattes to close out our short trip to Uji. They were so yummy! We headed back to Kyoto Station so some of my friends could get their Shinkansen tickets for their trip home, and then we headed back to the hotel to relax for about an hour. A couple of us met up later to go to an ice cream bar, and then we ended up going bowling at Round 1, which was a gaming complex with three floors of bowling alleys. I was not expecting bowling to be super popular here, but it seemed that everyone there was leagues ahead of me in terms of bowling skills. I wasted a couple hundred yen trying to win toys at claw machines on the ground floor, but we had to call it quits because the floor was about to close.  Before heading home, we went to McDonald’s. Tomorrow, my friends and I are spending our free morning/afternoon in Hiroshima. I’m looking forward to a meaningful last day in Japan :(

Academic Reflection:
I found it so amazing that the Daibutsuden held the record of the world’s largest wooden building, even though it’s currently only 2/3 of its original size. I remember learning about the Vairocana Buddha in AP Art History and how precise and important its hand positioning is, so I appreciated the opportunity to see something I learned about before UF so up close!
In the reading, I learned about how there are different bodies that reference different aspects of Buddhahood: the Transformation-body, Enjoyment-body, and Dharma-body. Vairocana, the Buddha I saw today, is the Dharma-body, which I read means the “truth-body” or “reality-body”.

Six moments you might have missed from NYFW 2024
Tumblr media
Fashion month went off with a bang in New York City. With boundary-pushing designs and plenty of famous faces on the front row, New York Fashion Week (NYFW)2024 has wrapped up. And what a glittering season it has been! Filled with bold designs and celebrity-filled front rows. New York is often seen as the cooler younger sibling to Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, and it didn't disappoint with the autumn/winter 2024 season. Here's what you might have missed from a week of fashion in the Big Apple… 1. Beyoncé sits in the front row. In a surprise appearance on Tuesday night, Beyoncé sat in the front row to watch her 19-year-old model nephew Daniel 'Julez' Smith Jr walk the runway at the Luar fashion show, a clothing brand "for the culture." The singer and her mother sat together, both wearing stylish outfits. She finished the look with oversized sunglasses, a holographic Luar bag, and a cowboy hat in the same color. 2. Molly Ringwald walked the runway. Sixteen Candles star Molly Ringwald opened the Batsheva show, wearing a dramatic hooded black gown, which the brand described on Instagram as "a velveteen funeral Jackie O dream." The 55-year-old is usually seen sitting in the front row, but this season, she joined an entire cast of models aged 40 or over. Designer Batsheva Hay had spent weeks recruiting random women for the show, telling The New York Times she did it because she was 42. "I find that aging is a big preoccupation for me and my friends. It's an area of discomfort in fashion," she said. 3. Tommy Hilfiger comes back home. Fashion veteran Tommy Hilfiger wanted to honor New York in his second show since the coronavirus outbreak. He staged the show at the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station, with the likes of Damson Idris, newest brand ambassador Sofia Richie Grainge, and Kelly Rutherford all in attendance. "We thought it was time," Hilfiger told CNN ahead of the show. "Time to come back and celebrate New York. It's iconic, and it's where I started." From varsity bomber jackets and trench coats to striped jumpers and polo shirts, the mega-brand was bold and modern in its interpretation of preppy fashion. 4. Blake Lively makes an appearance. In support of her good friend Michael Kors, the actress and Gossip Girl alum attended the autumn-winter runway shown Tuesday. The mom of four wore a giraffe-print trench coat and mini skirt with brown boots. She attended the Super Bowl to see the Kansas City Chiefs win against the San Francisco 49ers. Taylor Swift, Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, Miles Teller, and Keleigh Sperry spotted her watching the game. 5. All eyes on Area Interestingly, to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Area broke from tradition and debuted spring/summer clothes instead of the usual autumn/winter collections. The designers drew inspiration from Sixties pop art and 1920s cartoons and studied the outfits with statement googly eyes. The designers drew inspiration from Sixties pop art and 1920s cartoons and studied the outfits with statement googly eyes. Area's collection delves into the interplay between viewing and being viewed. It explores the dynamics of essentials and the extraordinary. The collection reconstructs the interconnection between fashion and its observers. Area shared this on Instagram. 6. Storybook drama at Thom Browne After a spell in Paris, Thom Browne returned to the New York Fashion Week schedule in a suitably dramatic style. A veteran of the industry – and the chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) – he's known for high-production-value shows, and this season was no different. Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's poem The Raven, models walked around a wintery wasteland of a catwalk. More than just a runway show, this was performance art – one of the 'trees' on the runway turned out to be a man on stilts wearing an oversized puffer jacket, and four children emerged from the coat to watch the show. The clothes were suitably Gothic – practically everything was monochromatic, with models wearing sculptural headpieces. Moreover, the fashion show emphasized tailoring and boxy silhouettes with a sporty edge. It was a dramatic and exciting experience for everyone, including celebrities like Janet Jackson and Queen Latifah, who enjoyed the show in the front row. Read the full article

Dear future self... January 29, 2024
Another 2 weeks have passed? I was feeling pretty down the start of two weeks ago I think and didn't end up writing and now lots has happened. 2 weekends ago I went to Amber's saturday to help paint & stayed for dinner. I was there for like 8 or 9 hours & man, I tell you, this girl is my other half. We chatted about the book we just finished, The Light We Carry & the really good bits about friendship etc. There's a part about finding your barnacles as friends, the ones that stick by your side through anything & can't get rid of basically & it was just so reassuring again to hear that I'm that person to her. We had really great conversation about relationships & how in the past we've put so much pressure on our partner to fulfill all aspects but realize how important it is to have outside friends that you can go to & fulfill that, we laughed as we both said we're each others person. I love that girl to bits man. Sunday I went for Lunch with Calvin which was really nice, always great conversation with him. Then went bowling with Shane later which was fun. We enjoy doing that & always have a lot of laughs. Monday I had off which was nice, got my car checked out and then visited Shane at work. I was supposed to help Kamber move but it was cold out. I did a bunch of baking instead, made my lemon loaf for Chrystal and made carrot cake cookie sandwiches which turned out so good. Tuesday was Amber's for game night which was fun per usual, played Catan. Chilled Wed & Thursday. Friday went to Olea for Shruti & Sasha's birthdays with Cassie. It was really great, it was so nice to catch up with them all & we always have a lot of laughs so it was a great get together. Went to Ambers to watch the oilers game, which we were supposed to all go out together but Kamber & Shane canceled & bars were full so we stayed in, made some appies together & watched the Oilers & sharks game which was great. Sunday went to Brunch with Calvin again and then relaxed for the day. Wednesday went to Steven's to hang with him & Amanda which was great to finally catch up, played Spectre which was super good & I want to get this game now. Friday went to Ambers for another dinner & Catan night with Shane, then we played Overcooked which was so much fun. I haven't laughed that consecutively for a while which is usually when I'm with Amber anyways, it was such a fun night & we stayed till like 2am. Saturday I went over to Calvins for food & to hang out. Turned out going a bit sideways than I expected. He was hoping to make a move on me but I stood my boundaries which he respected but I kind of fingered now after that, that he would probably stop talking to me after realizing that I wasn't going to let him in my pants. It was kind of sad and frustrating but whatever. I'm not interested in friendship if they're just wanting that. I was super tired that night so I relaxed & gamed Horizon for a bit.

October 03 - 2023 Tuesday
11:12pm
This morning I had eggs with corned beef hash and toast. I theorize this upset my tummy later in the day but I don't usually have trouble with this combo so who knows. I played Dorfromantic while it cooked and went to the store with mom right after to pick up some creamer, butter, and drinks for the weekend. Having to pick up drinks weekly myself is a good idea, finally I'm making some tangible progress in getting myself outside. Its something I can be proud of myself for and others can be proud of me too. I got to stream late and finished the background for the group comm before finishing this guy's YCH. He was really iffy about trying to change things and while I'd normally oblige, I had to say no this time because I have too much going on to be giving out charity right now. Piczel went down so I had to stop streaming and was super slow doing everything. For today's cleaning I finally got to my toilet which I've been putting off.
Lunch was a spicy chicken ramen bowl and a granola bar. I put too much of the spicy packet so I couldn't drink it like soup like I wanted. I did good on today's request and made good progress on the Spookality world. I tried hanging out in my friend Ena's server but I wasn't feeling too social and 2 people started eating into their mics so I just left. I tried hanging out in Egg's server too but she must have been busy or didn't see. After work I watched Twitch like I've been doing. Eventually I got bored and had to think hard about what I really wanted to be doing with myself. I always fondly think about fun times in VRchat and how I wish every evening could be fun like it used to be and I knew I could make that happen if I really tried. I got in VR to world hop at first trying to find cool places to check out with Daisy later and was friended by 2 different people that both wanted to ask my questions about my scan world. A couple were furries and a couple were eboys. I ended up taking the eboys to my furry world to show them my art like they wanted. We stayed there for awhile looking for easter eggs before Daisy got on and we started climbing my tower. We couldn't stay for the whole thing though because Daisy had to go to bed and I had dinner to eat.
Today flew by. My tummy hurt. I lost track of time in VR which I haven't done for a long long time. That's probably a good thing. Daisy was upset this morning about things and as usual I wasn't sure how to be supportive. I don't want to give unasked for advice but I also don't want to just say "Yeah. Uh huh. I hear ya." As much as I truly listen to and care about what someone is opening up about, I don't always know what to say. I guess I wish I could do more and for that I think I need to learn better how to get across that I'm listening. I know it's not about fixing the other person's problem, its about being a heart to confide in. I'm only meant to listen.
Things feels sort of monotonous lately and I'm worried about what that means for my behavior. I'm getting better about catching the ways I promote poor habits and ways of thinking. If I don't shake up my cycle and stay aware of what I'm actually doing, things will spiral. I get too caught up following my own script sometimes.

Freak In You
Tumblr media
description: your famous best friend wants to be more than friends
warnings: possessiveness, jealously, smut, cursing, drinking, daddy-name calling, dirty talk, etc
inspired by: tiktok
bolded = sentence prompt!
It’s not like the Bengals Quarterback to want a relationship at a critical time in his life. The Bengals are in route to head back to the Super Bowl, meaning Joe needs to stay more focus than ever. But then there’s you, it’s something about you that Joe says has some type of hold over him. It wasn’t suppose to be like this, the two of you are best friends, have been since fourth grade. As the years have came and went, Joe started developing a crush on you. You’re everything Joe wants in a woman, so he started to hate the thought of you with anybody else but him. Seeing you at a club with all the guys looking your way set him off.
He was standing with a group of his teammates, you happened to have come in with a group of your friends. You didn’t notice Joe at first but he noticed you, his jaw clenched seeing your outfit. Fashion to you is a big statement, so you always step out being the baddest bitch in the room. Joe loves it, but hates how much attention you get from other men. Anybody playing for the Bengals knows how much Joe wants you, he damn near talks about you all day everyday to his teammates.
“Ou, Joe’s girl here y’all.” Ja’Marr jokes and all of Joe’s teammates snicker as his face turns red.
One of your homegirls taps your shoulder, seeing how majority of the Bengals players were staring at you. Turning around you lock eyes with your best friend and smile while walking towards him, you didn’t pay no mind to Joe’s teammates moving back as you walked up to your best friend.
“Hi Joey, I’ve missed you!” You squeal before giving Joe a big hug, wrapping your arms around his neck as his arms hug your waist pulling you in closer to him. He loves the perfumes you wear, it gives Joe comfort whenever you come near him. If anybody was watching y’all, they would think you and Joe are a couple.
“I missed you too, beautiful.” Joe whispers in your ear making you giggle softly. You turn away from Joe, coming in contact with Ja’Marr and Tee looking in y’all direction with their cups in their hands. Joe groans making you laugh even though, you really don’t know why Joe and his teammates are acting like this. While looking into his eyes, Joe senses you staring at him and looks down giving his signature smile. That smile that makes any woman take their panties off for him.
You didn’t want to think that Joe has a crush on you, due to the fact that y’all have been best friends since fourth grade. You didn’t want to ruin the friendship, Joe makes you happy in any imaginable way possible. Losing Joe would damage you, big time. Trust, he feels the same way as well. You have feelings for Joe too, but they’ve been hidden, due to fear of Joe rejecting you. The way he’s holding you right now and how his teammates are acting, the feelings are mutual.
Pulling away from Joe, you look into his eyes, “I’mma go party with my friends, if you need me bestie, you know to call me.” Joe licks his lips while nodding and you want to be a puddle on the floor. You don’t even know how you managed to walk away after seeing that. Sitting down with your friends at the bar, you tell them everything that just happened.
Meanwhile, the boys are poking fun at Joe and he playfully rolls his eyes, watching you have fun.
It’s been an hour or two since you’ve been in the club, you’re sort of intoxicated. But nothings stopping you from having fun, Joe checks up on you throughout the night and that’s fine with you. Joe never wants you to be uncomfortable at any moment, while you’re around him. He probably wanted to give you a ride home, so he can take care of you in the morning.
You and a few of your friends are still at the bar when a man walks up to you with a grin on his face. You smile at him, he’s a cute one, his smile is a smile that reminds you of Joe’s.
“Can I buy you a drink, pretty lady?” He asks sweetly. You think to yourself and are about to give him a response until you hear a familiar voice near you.
“Nah, she’s good.” Joe states, wrapping his arms around your body while staring down the man. The man looks at you two with a confused look on his face before walking off while shaking his head, you turn towards Joe with a questionable look on your face.
“What was that for? He wanted to buy me a drink.” You frown slightly, your lips pouting making Joe want to lean in and kiss them. He just shakes his head softly, staring at you.
“I could’ve bought you a drink if you wanted one.”
“Yeah, well you didn’t, another man can buy me one too, Joesph.” Those words alone make Joe eyes turn slight grey, his jealously rising by the minute.
“Is that so?” Joe asks quietly leaning in closer, your world was beginning to spin. A moan is attempting to come out of you, you’re trying to think to yourself as to why you find that so attractive. Joe getting possessive and jealous of you is a turn on, maybe, maybe not. You’d never tell him.
You decide to test the waters with your next response, “Yeah, anything you do, another man can do ten times better.” You smirk feeling Joe tense up behind you while you stand from your seat.
You walk off, swaying your hips, knowing that Joe is staring at you. If he wanted to act this way, than you’re going to act out as well.
As the night went on, you see Joe staring at you while you’ve been dancing, gaining everybody’s attention. There were several men who wanted to take you home with them. You politely decline, giving them your prettiest smile ever. Although you’ve been entertaining men in the club, it feels good to know Joe wants you all to himself.
You were sitting down in your VIP Section, when your friend taps you to show you multiple women all up in Joe’s face. Laughing to yourself, you pull out your phone to text Joe.
‘You and all your little girlfriends cute.’
You see him open up his phone almost immediately, he turns and looks at you before texting back.
‘Jealous?’
‘Jealous? When there’s plenty of men, who want me? Lol.’
‘Keep it up.’
‘You say that as if you’re going to do something to me.’
Joe doesn’t respond for a minute and you believe that he’s done fucking with you. It’s only a couple of minutes later, when a text notification pops up on your phone.
‘You won’t be able to walk straight after I’m done with you.’
You cross your legs and look up at Joe who has a cocky smirk on his face. Your reaction makes him feel good about what he texted.
‘There’s plenty of women in your face that you can say that to, why me?’
‘You know why, stop playing with me mama.’
‘They only want me for money and fame, fuck ‘em. I’ve been wanting you for years, you make me crazy. Everything about you drives me insane. You got me wrapped around your little finger, mama.’
‘I can always show you better than I can tell you, you know this.’
You stop reading Joe’s text messages, feeling your wetness in your panties, you get up from the couch and excuse yourself from your friends. You head off to the restroom, needing a minute to yourself. Walking down the hallway, two of Joe’s teammates walk past you giving you a look that you can’t understand. You shrug, already sexually frustrated. Putting your back on the wall, you sigh loudly before opening your phone.
“What’re you doing here by yourself?” You heard Joe’s voice before he towers over you. Grabbing your chin, Joe lifts your head up, “Attempting to get away from you, your teammates, and the horny shit you texting me.” You roll your eyes, looking at any and every thing but Joe.
“..Am I making you uncomfortable?”
“No. I just-
“Can’t handle me. Noted.” You roll your eyes, feening irritation. Of course you can handle everything that comes with Joe. “There’s nothing for me to handle, how can I not tame you if you can’t even show me how much you want me?” You question, tilting your head to the side. Joe laughs while pulling you closer, “Keep talking shit and I’ll show you the other things I can do with that mouth of yours.”
You let out a low moan at Joe’s words. He smirks trailing his hands down your body. You decided to wear a mini skirt, leaving much easy access. Joe let out a growl, realizing that anybody could see what’s under your skirt. He doesn’t know yet, but you decided not to wear any panties with your outfit.
You bite your lip seductively, “How about you show me.”
“You don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself into mama or maybe I could show you the things I want to do to you. You’d like it if the entire club sees me fucking the shit out of you, you want everybody to know you’re mines, hm?”
You whimper when Joe hand reaches up to your throat, squeezing slightly, “I would, I would really like for you to do that.”
“I love when you talk like this, baby.”
Joe does, a lot, he also likes the sound of you moaning his name repeatedly. The moment you two got into his car, he bent you over his lap, spanking you countless over times until your wetness was leaking on his leather seats.
“Can you touch me pretty please, my pussy is so wet for you, Joey.” You whine, pulling your skirt off slowly to show how much you needed Joe to fuck you senseless. Peering his eyes over your way, Joe sees as your chest rises and falls from the heavy breathing you’re doing due to trying to make yourself have an orgasm.
“I’m going to fucking ruin you.”
Those words make you cum, your loud moan couldn’t be controlled.
Joe reached over, running a finger up and down your core, feeling how horny you are for him. He pulled back after a couple of minutes, licking his finger as you stare at him, “You taste so good mama.”
“I do?”
“The prettiest and best pussy ever mama.”
You sit up in the seat, cleaning up the mess you created, “Thank you Joey.”
“Joey? You still think that’s my name at the moment?”
“..What would you like to be called?” You inquire, you knew what he was implying you love the way that Joe has been dirty talking to you.
“I have a few names in mind, ma.” That’s the only thing Joe says to you before the rest of the car ride is silently with the sexual tension getting stronger and stronger.
The moment Joe parks his car in the garage, you slowly make your way inside his house, legs still a bit numb due to your orgasm in his car. You sit on the kitchen counter, taking off your outfit so Joe can use you any way that he wants to. You didn’t realize he has been watching you from the door until you’re finished pulling off your shirt. He has a grin on his face that makes you weak, walking over towards you.
“Can I go down on you?” Joe asks pulling you to the edge of his counter top, you nod with a smile on your face. Joe gets down on his knees, kissing your thighs with light pecks before leaning forward to run his tongue down the slit of your core.
Joe pushes down on your stomach making you rest your back on the cold counter as he continues to devour you. Your back arches once you feel that building tension in your stomach, making a weak attempt to push Joe’s head away he grabs both of your wrist pining them down to the surface.
“Oh fuck, daddy! Please I’m about to cum.” You moan pulling Joe’s hair softly so you wouldn’t hurt him. This is the best head you’ve ever received, Joe has you on cloud nine.
Joe adds two fingers speeding up his pace you so can come all over his face, the idea of Joe being a slut for you made you want to give him whatever he wants.
You cum all over his face, your legs still shaking as Joe pulls you in for a kiss, tasting yourself on your lips. “How did I do beautiful?” Joe asks pulling you off the counter and into his arms, making you wrap your legs around his waist to walk upstairs to his room.
“You did good daddy.” You respond with trailing kisses down his neck. Joe kicks open his bedroom, laying you on the bed while you sit there watching him take off his clothes. You sit up, eyes trained on each other, when Joe pulls your legs apart again leaning down to kiss your stomach.
“Are you ready for me? I don’t want to hurt you. Do you need anything, I want this to be a pleasant experience for you.” Joe says with concern in his voice for you after he’s done leaving love bites down your body.
“Yes, I.. I want this as much as you do, Joe, make me feel good.” You explain, running your hand up and down his chest.
“Do you want me to wear a condom?”
You think for a minute before replying, “No.. I want to feel you inside of me, Joe.”
“Are you-
“I’m positive, I’m comfortable with having sex with you, I promise Joe, I’ll let you know if anything is wrong.” You try to ease Joe with your soft spoken words, kissing him so angelic on his lips.
You feel the tip of Joe’s dick at your entrance, you two both moan at the noises your pussy is making. You grind slowly against Joe to create more friction, Joe’s hands grab your waist to help you.
A loud gasp escapes your throat when Joe fully enters you, thrusting back and forth slowly to create some kind of rhythm here. “This pussy so good mama.” Joe praises after he speeds up the pace, sucking on your nipples. You can’t form not a single thought, so stuck on how good Joe’s fucking you right now.
The way he’s talking to you and treating your body is almost making you want to come so early, but you can’t, not with the feeling of wanting to be here all night long. Everything that Joe has said in regards to his feelings about you, is becoming true. For Joe, to be able to show and make love to the one whose had his heart since elementary school, is a blessing for him. Being able to show affection to you means more than any AFC Championship or Super Bowl win in Joe’s opinion.
"What pretty noises you're making for me, am I making you feel good?" Joe cooed in your ear when he leans forward and tongue kisses you while also fingering your core.
You moan into Joe’s mouth feeling yourself climax all over Joe, looking down at the mess you’ve made, you giggle while licking your cum from off your fingertips. Joe swears under his breath when he sees you do that, “I want you to take you from behind pretty girl.”
You nod your head in response, a whimper comes from your lips when Joe pulls out of you. He turns you around quickly, pushing down on your back so you can arch the way he wants you to. Re-entering you, Joe pulls your hair as your ass bounces on him, “You can take daddy’s dick, right baby?”
“Ah! I can take daddy’s dick!” You cried out when Joe hits your g-spot, making you feel things you haven’t felt in a while.
You turn your head to look at Joe in his eyes, with the way he has you screaming, you probably weren’t going to have a voice in the morning. You don’t mind, because Joe will take care of you, always.
“Move your hands, I’m not fucking playing with you.” Joe demands when you lazily attempt to push him away because of him pounding into you. When Joe realizes you’re not going to move your hands, he grabs both your wrist and holds them together behind your back. You were now definitely seeing stars.
“Are you gonna come for me baby, hm? Can daddy see that pussy leak out with your cum?” Joe asks when he sees your legs shaking meaning you are about to have another orgasm for the night.
“Yes.. fuck! Daddy I’m com-
You chock on your words when your climax hits you like a freight train. Joe grunts lowly, swearing, when seeing your reaction.
“Where you want daddy’s nut, ma?” You turn to look at Joe again before opening your mouth. He pulls out of you and waits for you to kneel, once you’re kneeling, you allow Joe to throat fuck you until his seed is shooting down your throat. You moan, liking the thought of being used like this. You open your mouth to show Joe that you’ve swallowed all of his cum.
Joe pulls you back up on your feet for a kiss, he grabs underneath your ass to hold you up, making you wrap your legs around his waist. He climbs in the bed and you hiss from feeling his dick at your entrance, “Sensitive?” Joe teases, you roll your eyes at his cockiness.
It stays quiet for a while, you two are both sweaty, but neither of you want to get up right now. It feels good to be in one another’s presence right now.
“I’m sorry for getting a little carried away.” Joe apologizes rubbing his finger through the marks he made on your body. You shrug your shoulders with a silly smile on your face, “It’s okay, I enjoyed every moment.”
Joe looks at you with questions in his eyes, “I’m sure, I promise you, you didn’t hurt me nor did I feel uncomfortable. You made me feel really good baby.” You reassure Joe, kissing his lips softly to prove your point.
“Can we talk about the next steps in our.. relationship in the morning? I’m too tired beautiful.” Joe says laying his head on your stomach, you run a finger through his hair, “Of course, I don’t mind my love, I was about to ask if we can go to sleep.”
Joe face lights up with joy, pulling you in for a sleepy tongue kiss, “Thank you, I’ve dreamed about you being in love with me for so long.”
You smile at Joe, “You mean so much to me, Joey.” You yawn unexpectedly and Joe pulls you in to spoon you, your back hitting his chest. You turn around, kissing Joe once last time for the night before going to sleep, “I love you, Joey.”
“I love you more, mama.”
