Also my friend got me super into honkai starrail so I've played an obscene amount of that. And with any new hyperfixation comes it's fusion with my beloved special interest!!

Sampo is running late, 10 minutes late. You know sampo isn’t that type to stand anyone up, he would at least text about the issue or the problem and make it up to them with two dates in a day.

Is really isn’t a difference? No. Because you also have a planned movie night at your house with your boyfriend. With sampo running late, it’s ruining your schedule.

“y/nnn, there you are” Sampo appeared shot of thin air and sat down on the side of the booth, with the sweetest smile, you swear he only shows you. “Oh hi sampo, how are you?” He was absolutely glistening with excitement. “I’m doing amazing now that you’re here.” He sat down at the table.

“Are you still keeping up with academics?” He groaned, letting the menu block his face. “You sound like Nat…always questioning my grades, tests, blah blah blah.” He always talks with his hands, swinging them around and expressing emotions with them. Your eyes glued to his face and hands same time, you smiled as he rants about the annoyance of school.

“You can always ask Dan Heng about studying, he’ll help you get better y’know? You paused, “you guys are in the same friend group, correct?” You questioned. He nodded to both questions, “but he hates him cause I’m apparently “stealing you away from him” he sighed before slamming his head against the table.

“Good evening you two! My name is Jane, your waitress today, let’s start off with drinks, what would you like?” You picked up the menu, “I would like a piña colada, he’ll take a virgin piña colada.” “Alright, I’ll be right back with your drinks.” With that, she left as soon as sampo picked his head up.

“Why do I get a virgin piña colada?!” He whispered shouted. “Well you’re weight is so 50/50 at time, one minute you can take it the next you can’t, so I’ll best to play it safe, no?”

okay i got some food and juice in me and took a 6 hour depression nap, i wanna ramble about March 7th and how shes my best friend.

first things first she meets you and hears how you don't have any memories- well neither does she! obviously that means you guys are going to be fast friends. this is a typical story telling thing- however we actually SEE her develop a friendship with the player character. its not behind the scenes/off screen like most games like to do with the friend/best friend character. Her interactions with the player character are believable and reactive. There is a cute dynamic between the player and March where you can mimic her and she remembers every time you do.

She isn't defined by her friendship with you either, she is happy to have you as a friend! she will defend you like any other friend! but you aren't her whole world and vice versa.

March would still be March 7th if you weren't around, she would just miss you like she would any of her friends. also, and this is just because i love when games give the player a best friend and they put effort into that dynamic, but its really nice knowing that she is her own person. there is a quest where you help her try and regain her memories and you're there to support her, not do it for her, and she won't let you do it for her either. during the quest you play as her and interact with her memories- and the thing that helps her figure out what is and isn't part of her memories is YOU.

"[player] wouldn't say that! [player] would want me to reach my goals! STOP PRETENDING TO BE [player]!" and then she beats up the anomaly.

at the end of the quest she doesn't learn much, just that an organization known for tampering with memories doesn't want her knowing her past. this is upsetting, but its just another mystery to solve.

later on in the game the player character is getting manipulated due to not knowing any better. i think the estimated age of the player character at this point is a few months old- so the player character doesn't know how to filter though lies, doesn't know how to avoid certain word play/mental traps, and now has witnessed a friend seemingly die. the player is emotionally a wreck and no one really acknowledges this outside of "sorry for your loss"- except March.

"I'm so sick of [player] getting bullied by everyone!" she says and if you try and reassure her that its fine or you don't mind/care she sputters out "no! I can't accept that!"

you then go and comfort her because someone she cares about is also dead and the conversation is like "No one knows whats happened. they're all just going about their day as if nothing happened. UGH! i wish i had a cool soda to drink and calm me down... but i would just be like everyone else... using a dream to escape reality..."

I love that she sits with herself and thinks about things. she is the first to stand up for you as a friend (dan heng is close behind but this is a March 7th post) and i'm just really happy about her because the only time i see this sort of effort put into making the best friend character BELEIVABLY a best friend is with male characters.

A hopefully more logical take on your starrail blues: just fuckin’ don’t play it? Getting into things doesn’t always mean experiencing them, I can speak from personal experience as a Danganronpa fan who has never played a Danganronpa game in his life. Find a lore video, scour wikis, get the scoop from friends, anything except engaging.

How would your ocs each react to either learning that they've actually been a robot their whole life or waking up one day and finding that their consciousness has been placed into a robot's body? I imagine Gene would have the worst mental breakdown known to man

i think he'd wake up and just notice something is off and then realize. yknow. theres like screens in his eyes and he can literally feel metal inside of him. he would be like "...okay. i guess."

i feel like he'd be half convinced he's dreaming or hallucinating, and tell archie about it (who would be ecstatic. we'll get to that in a second.) and ultimately, once he realizes its real, he'd just kinda. be okay with it.

he'd be a little concerned about maintenance-- he knows the human body, not this new robot one, but i'm sure he'd figure something out. as long as he is still able to do his job (both in the literal sense-- his med classes and residency, and in the sense of taking care of archie) he doesn't care all that much.

oh boy. he would be SO excited.

archie is a huge nerd. he LOVESS techy sci-fi stuff, so if he woke up and he was a whole ass ROBOT???? that's a dream come true for him. he'd be in utter bliss.

of course he'd tell simon right away. simon would probably panic more than he would for his own scenario because HOW is he supposed to prevent archie from dying now. like i said, he knows human bodies, not whatever the hell is going on now.

archie would still be THRILLED. he would test out all sorts of things and play with his mechanics and just. nerd out. i hope he gets to experience being a robot one day, for his sake

i think gene would die. i think he'd actually just experience so much discomfort that he would die. yknow how sims can die from too much of a certain emotion? gene would die from shock and HORROR.

gene very much dislikes machines. the whole idea of something Big and Moving and being made of metal DEEPLY unsettles him. if HE became the big moving metal thing? oh god. someone get this man OUT of here

cassidy is an even mix between archie and simon. he would be excited by it and think its cool, but he wouldn't dwell on it too long. he has work to do after all! as long as he can still follow montana's orders, he's fine. if hes more durable now? awesome!

i do think that gene would be a little scared of him. gene would get over it quicker because its cassidy and they are "Friends" and gene can't fathom just shutting cassidy out

OH and cassidy would immediately try to figure out how he can put a gun in his finger. he would think that is SO cool. i genuinely believe he would become boothill from honkai starrail (i say as i have hardly even played the game) but if you don't know who that is look him up and you'll understand.

So this blog is about the games that I play. These games are produce by Mihoyo or currently known as Hoyoverse.

The oldest one is the Honkai Impact which is about an energetic girl that journeys to become the best valkyrie by fighting alien like monsters along with her friends facing hardship along the way to fight and save humanity. Next is Genshin Impact which is about twins that are separated by the Celestial God and now they embark on a journey to find each other, with the help of their friends who they met along their way. For these twins to find each other, they must adventure all around Teyvat to find their siblings and to also know who's the Celestial God that separated them. The next one is Tears of Themis which is a detective adventure of love and wits wherein the female lead is a freshly graduate lawyer working in Themis Law Firm and alongside her destined partners, they solve mysteries and crime together to get the proper justice that people deserves. Last is Honkai Starrail which is a game that just got launched on April 26, 2023. This is about the protagonist which is implanted with a stellaron or heart of a trailblazer and they journey across the starrail universe along side people that are said to inherit the "spirit of the trailblaze".

I am only currently playing starrail and genshin but I also played tears of themis and honkai impact before but I just got bored. Starrail, genshin and honkai impact are open world games but starrail is an open word turn based then tears of themis is an otome card game. Since starrail is a new game, all I can say to it is that I am enjoying it even if I'm not a fan of turn based games since I'm not a strategist player. I'm currently addicted to genshin since this game is fun to play and you are also free to do what you want. there is also coop mode wherein you can play with your friends to fight formidable enemies together and also adventure all around the map. In honkai impact and tears of themis there is only one main character while in genshin and starrail, you can pick either the male or female main characters. In starrail I picked the male mc since i like his design and also effects while in genshin I picked the female mc and its also about her design and effects. Picking different gender mc's doesn't affect the story or lore of the game. there are just minor differences but its just how other characters addresses you.

My friends and I all play these games since we are all fans of hoyoverse. Some of us makes these games as our get away from reality while others just really enjoy playing. These games makes us happy and also makes us forget about our problems in real life. This is where we spend time with each other and as we play, we also do video calling to easily talk about these games and to easily talk about other things in our lives. To be honest I just started to play these games because of my friends. I was not a fan of playing games like these before. Before I only play basic games like candy crush, subway surfers and etc. but then I met them, my friends since high school so now I am playing hardcore games alongside with them.

man, theres always a character i get attached to in a video game and some how, some way, RNG decides to make me question if pixels and code are sentient because i'm playing honkai: starrail and there is a part where Dan Heng is being a story mcguffin so he has a ability that charges up and you have to manually activated it during a boss fight.

the first time i attempted the fight i had March 7th in my party and when she went down, the attack charged so i used it, and all the damage was crit damage.

i failed so second try the trailblazer (cause i always have him in my party) went down and again the skill was charged and AGAIN all the damage was crit damage.

i asked my friends who have gotten past this part if its scripted for dan heng to crit the boss when March 7th or Trailblazer go down. they confirmed it is not scripted.
