when I started shipping it if I did: i think it was in earnest around crisis core time, but like. my first knowledge of it was that cloud & zack were the sasuke & naruto of ff7. thanks kile 

my thoughts: god nothing fucks me up more than two people who have been through hell together and trust each other more than anything else in the world… their dynamic is just two people who are genuinely happy to be around each other and value each others company……. [already crying]

What makes me happy about them: they just click really well… they joke around and go out to eat together in crisis core and post-ff7, zack is literally one of clouds most important people. zack sticks around after Death to give cloud ghost pep talks. 

What makes me sad about them: Zack Is Fucking Dead.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: cloud being “uwu soft boy” yaoi trope when we all know that chip-on-his-shoulder teenager cc cloud gave as good as he got when it came to zack. 

things I look for in fanfic: im a sucker for the “protecting each other” trope... anything post-canon that gives them a happy ending... god and yall KNOW im out here for the mythological/fantasy aus

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: aerith/zack are very cute, cloud/zack/aerith is honestly a fave of mine, and for post ff7 cloud... him and barrett have a lot of good development moments together..... ;w;

My happily ever after for them: god. it really has to be like it rains ashes on golgatha... one of my favorite clack post-canon fics of all time.... please for the love of god let them rest 

who is the big spoon/little spoon: zacks a verse hes down for whatever. he farts more though so generally he’s relegated to big spoon

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: i wanna say... taking motorcycle rides together because theyre both dumb adrenaline muscle heads. i love them

How I feel about this character: god hes so dumb. i think hes really funny and actually i love his dumb antics even though hes a rat...
