Darth maul sure is the guy ever glgkkgglogkgkkfnfn I love drawing him in casual contexts, idkw but I see this very intense very edgy chacracter and I just know he paint his nails and watch silly holofilms in his free time.

I had way too much fun doing this little detail ! And in my eyes there is no doubt that barbie would be a pink twi'lek

I tried doing research on maul's tattoos, but they seem to widely vary and the references I did find where... Let's say not to my taste- so I made them up ! Hope they don't look too weird

Bedrock Headcannons: Obi-Wan Kenobi

Bedrock headcannons are headcannons that I regard as a fact in the personality of a character I write about. They range from small details to a huge part of a character's backstory. These headcannons are a constant underlayer in all of my fics that involve these characters.

﹄『❝ Obi-Wan ❞』﹃

He cut his hair shortly after the war begun because Anakin made a comment he looked like Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan couldn't handle it.

Obi-Wan is very quiet and not just in the sense of him not talking a whole lot. But his steps, the swoosh of his robe, the smile in his eyes. He moves with grace which results in many people being taken off guard when he's in the room, as if he just appears. But he's also quiet in the way that you'd never know he was crying if you couldn't see his face, quiet in the way of showing love through always having snacks on him for Anakin, Ahsoka or any of his men. Whoever asks him first. He's quiet in pain and agony, in love and passion.

Obi-Wan feels extremely bittersweet about Dooku. He remembered how highly Qui-Gon regarded him, how they'd go catch up at a diner and how Obi-Wan always begged to go. He never knew the Dooku that Qui-Gon did and Obi-Wan has a hard time understanding how his master was trained by someone so vile. Everytime he faces the Count, he remembers Qui-Gon, and he remembers how much his master cared for this man that is trying to kill him.

He loves Coruscant in the rain. When he was younger, Qui-Gon would take him up to the roof of the temple and they'd talk until they could see stars. But if it was raining, they'd be outside splashing each other until they were soaked.

He doesn't go up there as often anymore, but the first year after Qui-Gon's death, Obi-Wan was missing all day. It was Quinlan Vos who found him, he was the only person still alive that knew about his hiding place.

Obi-Wan's 18th birthday was spent out on the streets of Coruscant. He snuck out with Quinlan Vos and Kit Fisto. The three ran into trouble and at the stroke of midnight, Obi-Wan was in tears, desperately hoping his friends would find him.

He was sent to Mandalore with Qui-Gon soon after.

Obi-Wan will go get tea with Padme when Anakin is still out in space. He doesn't say he checks on Padme to Anakin, but he'll say he caught Padme and they chatted for a while and that she's doing well.

During down time, he wears heavy robes because Obi-Wan is cold all the time. Especially when on the Negotiatior. If he's able, he'll always go sit in the sun, feeling the warmth on his face.

As the war progresses, the toll of it starts to affect him more and more. He starts to feel things more deeply then he ever had and he finds himself drowning constantly. Fear he's never known paralyzes him and he can't talk to anyone because there's nothing anyone can do. He's going to drown and he can see all the people he loves playing in the water not noticing he's been swept up by the tide.

Dex's Diner has been Obi-Wan's place for years, he brings only the most important people in his life there. Dex basically watched Obi-Wan grow up, he knows his favorite book, his deepest pain and insecurities, and how many times he's fallen in love.

Obi-Wan takes Cody anytime they're on Coruscant for leave. One night, it was late and after close, but it was in that little worn down diner that Obi-Wan and Cody celebrated their marriage, slow dancing to whatever jukebox tune was playing and holding each other tight.

After Order 66 happens, Cody feels drawn to the diner, he sits there for hours. Dex knows better to assume the identity of this helmeted man, but he always sits in Obi-Wan's booth and watches the door, expecting the love of his life to walk right in and apologize for being late. But Obi-Wan never comes, and there is never an apology.

I enjoy how you have while Luke forgives Vade/Anakin he understands Leia Hatred towards Him.

I always did get annoyed on some Stories where Luke gets angry at Leia for Not forgiving Vader or say her hatred is wrong, Darth Vader may be my favorite character in the star wars franchise, But even I agree that the stuff he did to Leia, is unforgivable, you can't make someone forgive someone or Force them to, and I like them where Luke understands Leia anger, Leia does not forgive Vader and Vader accapting that.

Only time I would agree in a Au where Vader lives and Leia hatred to him should be called out on? Is if it somehow got them into a large mess or nearly got herself killed.

My most hated Vader Lives AU, is one where Luke refused to go to Leia wedding Because she didn't Invite Vader to the wedding, He said if you don't invite our father then I won't come either.

For damn sake! That annoyed me so Much that I facepalmed.

Oof, that's a hell of a characterization.

But yeah, I think interpretations of Luke that go down that route are...hm. showing him as incredibly selfish, in a way? They focus on Luke's feelings about Vader to an extent that I think removes all of the nuance and just makes Luke believe Vader = good now, but honestly I don't think that would be anywhere close to Luke's take on things. After all, Luke also suffered because of Vader - his family was murdered, his home was burned, his hand was cut off, his friends were killed. Luke's forgiveness isn't blind. He knows what Vader did, both to Leia and to him specifically, and the fact that he chooses to forgive Vader is an act of strength. I don't think that Luke would demand that same thing from people around him. It's just not part of who he is.

Don't be deceived by the red, this ain't a Corrie, it's Fordo! Strongest of the Alpha batch. The only one Jango saw worthy of carrying the Jaig Eyes (which later Fordo bestows upon Rex).

We only see him for a short while in the beginning of things, but his quiet deadly competency was super cool.

Obi-Wan and Anakin's dynamic continues to hurt me in new ways every day and I'm just forced to go about my day as if I'm not in deep psychological pain over the idea that they could never really truly be able to connect in the ways either of them want simply because they're such different people at a fundamental level

I don't post about Star Wars stuff here much, because despite being a huge SW fan since childhood I've just never really gotten into the fandom side of things, but I just have to say that my husband and I liked Skeleton Crew a lot! it's like The Goonies in space (we've been calling it "kids on hoverbikes") and it was sweet and funny and a lot of fun.

I appreciated that the story raised the stakes in an appropriate way. the ~fate of the galaxy~ wasn't at risk, the kids weren't responsible for saving the entire universe; the climactic problem was dramatic, but I felt like it still made sense within the scope of the story. and I was pretty impressed with the child actors! (plus, one of them reminded me strongly of a kid I teach, which was hilarious, because I could absolutely see that kid getting into similar shenanigans in a couple more years.)
