#starting with oscar charm #actually those charms r first f1 thing i ever did so they aren't as detailed as others #but there few things i rlly like about them #like how i managed shapes with 81 #and colours with OP #also added literally my favourite bead ever that i have only one of(orange star)#also i think that necklace i took apart for those metal stars that reference alpinestars is find of the century #and those beads that represent his helmet actually look better in person #like the blue one have actually light blue accent that plays out in the sun #and ofc seashell #bc i made this first i matched Logan's one to that #but if i did them together i would also add blue star to oscar #and very random but i drilled that koalas head bc it wasn't a charm #with lando is way less details #i really like bead for his eyes and doodle for it #and helmet beads #but my favourite is gear #bc i took apart mechanical clock for it with my dad #and also how i used 7 bc the only L in store was red #i don't have a lot to say about braclets honestly #they r mostly vibes #but I'm proud of gradient from orange to black to yellow to black to orange #bc yellow doesn't rlly work for me #but i incorporated it to best of my abilities #also doodle on oscar bracelet with stars from Australian flag???#i felt so smart icl #damn i used all tags i could so I'll just say that I'm in love with crafting once again and thank you for reading all this rambling #oscar piastri #lando norris #landoscar

#asunder #kerstin hall #aroaessidhe 2024 reads #okay SUPER fascinating worldbuilding with some very visceral creatures and biological constructs and interesting magic systems.#many things I like. A great cast of characters. Honestly I could read tons more stories set in this world.#it’s very slow building and meandering narratively; focusing on the complex journey of the main character #didn’t love the audio narration tbh - it felt like some lines are read with the wrong emphasis or tone? but I got used to it after a while #So this has one of my absolute favourite tropes (bodysharing.) unfortunately it turns it into a romance which is. well.#it just doesn’t hit the same if you make it romantic!! so that kinda made it change traintracks from being on a direct line to #potentially 5 stars to a whole different station where i do not live. lol.#I SUPPOSE it’s a well developed relationship and I’d prefer romances more like that than instalove I guess.#I did love their dynamic; too; but suddenly realising it was romantic threw me for a loop. Mark creates a new hobby where he'll wait for a lull in conversation before saying he thinks one direction has had a bigger cultural impact than pink Floyd so he can watch Peter try and drive the car directly into a tree

There are four main types of Batfam fans in regard to how people interpret Bruce Wayne as a dad (/Joking. This is mostly satire and should not be taken seriously):

Fans that think Bruce is emotionally constipated and isn't the best at being a parent but still tries (Differs per person). Don't necessarily think he's absuive but thinks he can be toxic or have unhealthy expectations for the Robins. Can smell the Oldest Daughter Syndrome coming from Dick and have Family Line (By Conan Gray) as their top song on their Dick inspired playlist and Daddy Issues (By The Neighbourhood) for Jason.

Fans that choose to believe Bruce goes to therapy in their own canon. Love B:WFA. Thinks the comic can be cheesy at times and so find a balance between B:WFA Bruce and Please Go To Therapy BruceTM as their middle ground. He struggles. They advocate that Bruce is not a bad parent, he just has bad writers that seem to forget Bruce wouldn't hurt kids, especially not his own. Love the humane moments and scenes he has in BTAS and the early JL cartoons. He may not be perfect but he's not literally abusive. Whores for Bruce being able to admit when he is wrong and for Jason and Bruce reconciling. I recommend Grow As We Go by Ben Platt for this one.

A mix between the first two. Was fine-ish when Dick was younger. Didn't help him in the healthiest way but eh. Still emotionally constipated but that happened more so after Dick left and Jason died. Started getting better when Tim came back but was still closed off. Should probably go to therapy with the kids so they can drag his ass about all the things he's done that have actually affected them negatively. Understands his mistakes and is also able to admit when he's wrong, eventually. It's not easy but he starts to do better and learns to be more emotionally available. Still has to get chewed out by Alfred sometimes but definitely better than he used to be and it shows. Reconciliation is slow and gradual but progress is made for everyone involved.

The one's I personally avoid for my own sanity and wellbeing:

Think Bruce is a complete bastard and abuser. Want him to choke. Hate any and all interpretations of him. Some of which will refuse to understand how anyone could have a different interpretation. Will point out comics where, in all fairness, he is a dick but forget that characterisation can significantly differ from one series to the next, as comic characters are constantly passed around to different writers and have been for decades. Not to mention movies, shows, etc.

Love being able to relax in my own home by myself because nobody else is here and I'm alone with zero other people to interrupt my do nothing time as there is only a single resident in the house and it's not not me :)
