Ideally, I think all of them, cause that's just how a father should be. Who makes it a bigger deal, though? I think it's the following:

Deuce: He has such fond memories of going out with just him and his mom that I think he'd want to recreate that. He's taking his daughter out to a cute café near the house to spend some time with her and learn about her week at school. Afterwards he'll take her to play at the park and push her on the swings, blissfully listening to her happy squeals and laughter.

Riddle: His mother caused some permanent damage to his ability to make health relationships, this is just a matter of fact. Perhaps now that he's an adult, the relationship between them as improved, but Riddle is terrified of being like his mother. So, while still firm, Riddle indulges his daughter with several daddy-daughter dates, specifically once a week on Sunday from noon to 2pm. They go out to a lovely café that serves the Clover Bakery pastries and have lunch, tea, and strawberry tarts as he listens to her talk about school, friends, and her favorite books. So, he takes his own daughter to the spa and shopping, instilling expensive taste much to your disapproval. Vil thinks he's simply setting her up with successful self care habits, which you can't deny. Rook: The embodiment of a simp and a girl dad, Rook is so in love with his mini-him. Cause let's be real, no matter how much she might look like you, she is a Hunt through and through. Rook reserves one of his family's more remote cabins where he can take her out hunting. He's teaching her the basics of animal tracking, wildness survival, and even shooting. They do briefly turn into family trips instead of daddy-date trips after Rook has to go to the emergency room after accidentally getting shot in his shoulder. He's very proud that his daughter has figured out the basics, but she's crying, and you're frantic. Just in case of an emergency, you tag along with first aid supplies for a little while until your daughter is more confident with her bow.

Malleus: He is SO in love with being a father. He gives no shit about what's on his calendar, if it's daddy-daughter date night, then it's daddy-daughter date night! He will take her scrolling around the gardens as he holds her in his arms and tells her about all the grotesques and gargoyles on the castle. He was so lonely as a child, so he's determined to make sure his own children never feel the same. Between him and her, they have their own Gargoyle Club that meets weekly to visit other castles and admire their architecture. He's yet to convince Leona to let them visit Pride Rock Palace to look at their versions of gargoyles.

Aries moon

My mom has this placement. She's very ambitious, but also really loves to experience new things every other day! She can be very impulsive with money (it is in her 2nd house). Her emotions sometimes get the best of her. She needs variety and stimulation, when she was in her 20s she travelled a lot and had a big friend group! Personally, I've never met many people with aries moons so she's my only reference.

Taurus moon

My dad is a taurus moon. His most used sentence is "You can save money in every part of you life, but you should never save money when it comes to food." I think that's very typical for taurus placements. He craves stability and peace. He loves good food, dancing and family time. His love language is also giving you food that you like! He likes tradition, he's from Italy so he always makes sure that his children are very much in touch with his roots.

Gemini moon

That is my placement! I don't know anyone else with that placement, so I'll write down my own experience with this one. I'm bored easily, but I'm not superficial. Actually I'm not that social and not very outgoing. As a Child i loved reading and fantasising. I get very restless and nervous, sometimes I have sleep issues if my body is in distress (it is in my 12th house tho). I feel like there are two different gemini moon people, the one is the social, outgoing one, the other is socially withdrawn and nervous. Guess I got the latter one! 🌝

Cancer moon

These are the most loving, warm hearted people ever. They do everything for their family, they provide and make the best gifts! They really listen to the people they love, they also sense your feelings and are amazing at comforting. One of my best friends that I used to talk to had this placement. Sadly we are not involved with each other anymore, but she always felt like home to me. You can count on them to cook you your favorite meal or bake your favorite cookies!

Leo moon

Sadly I've never been truly involved with one. The ones that I know are very obsessed with their image. The girl has really long hair, she's even known for it. But the guy has always been very attention craving. He is very sweet deep down and romantic. But also kind of toxic, I feel like he's an unevolved leo moon. Hopefully I'll get to know more leo moons, they seem so warm and welcoming!

Virgo moon

My girl bestfriend has this placement. We both love talking about kind of everything (mercurial moons) wether it be books, gossip, personal stuff... She gets stomach issues when stressed. She loves animals, she has a very deep bond to her pet dog. She lives vegan and loves minimalistic interior design. She always cared for her younger siblings, cooking for them, sometimes even taking the role of a caretaker (she's a cancer sun). We haven't been very much in touch lately, but I still cherish her a lot! She helped me getting through many things and I can count on her to always be honest with me. I have also shared a flat with two other virgo moons, the one was absolutely crazy about houseplants, she had like 30 in her room. She was very nice and gentle, but a little too naggy for me. The other one is my soulsister, we always grabbed food or cooked together which was very fun!!

Libra moon

Sadly, I didn't have the best experience with this placement. A friend in school had this, and she just was very passive aggressive. She wasn't romantic or warm, she was rather cold and aloof. When I started dating my boyfriend, she got so jealous and accused me of never having time for her. We never really hung out anyways, but that's when she started getting toxic. Her mother was very strict so she also became like that. She was also the one person that always complained about the exams but in the end she always had A's. We lost touch after school and I'm very glad about it. I know that she was probably an unevolved libra moon, so I hope I'll get to know the nice, gentle and loving ones! 🌚

Scorpio moon

I lived with one for about 4 months. She was very shy, but she was willing to open up. When you criticised her, she felt completely offended and never really talked to me ever again. She moved out very soon and my other flat mates and I weren't so sad about it. She never talked to us, she didn't even get out of her room after this one incident, where we criticised her for never coming out of her room. We were 4 girls sharing a big flat, 3 of us were always going out and having fun together, she never even read our text messages so we just assumed she didn't want to be involved with us. She just seemed very cold. In the end she blamed us for being cold, even though we invited her out for like a 100 times. We were even a little scared of her, she just seemed so unfriendly. I have never heard of her every since and I'm not mad about it.

Sagittarius moon

I know some people with this placement. Actually many of them are studying to become a lawyer and they're pretty good at it. One of them is becoming a police officer the other wants to be a politician. They cherish their own opinion a lot, they love living life as they want to. They are down for partying every weekend, I also saw a connection with drinking too much... Sometimes the girls are "not like other girls" because of their love for danger and adventure. One of them always felt the need to rub under my nose how much she liked to perform sports and whatever. They are very sporty though. But I sometimes get the feeling they take themselves too seriously. Not my favorite moon placement, but they're alright. They can be a little braggy and their political views can be a little extreme. A love for animals and justice.

Capricorn moon

Sorry, but no. 🧡 They treat everything as a transaction, if they're giving you something, you automatically owe them. They can be funny though and really nice. They are very ambitious. I noticed they do have a problem with feelings, and if they're getting involved with you, it is for the long run. On the other hand, if you don't seem like the one, they will just leave you hanging around until they find a better option. Maybe that's just my experience. I feel like their childhood was very strict, they had to look after themselves and their parents weren't very supportive of them. Might have a narcissistic mom.

Aquarius moon

That's another placement that was my flatmate. She also had a very rough childhood. Her father wasn't even involved, her mother always favoured her brothers over her. It was really hard getting to know her and even though i had loved to stay in touch with her, I haven't heard of her after moving out, which is kinda sad. She was very emotionally codependent on her boyfriend, so there wasn't really space for any other relationship in her life. I just hope she's happy now. :) The other aqua moon I know studies the same subject at university like me. We get along very well, but we're not best friends. She also seems a little distant, she lives in her own world and has her own circle of friends. But she's very nice and very human(?) I love talking to her, it just makes me feel great! 🧡

Pisces moon

This one is a little tricky. My boyfriend has this placement, and he's the most gentle, kind, supportive, understanding and loving person I know. Pisces moons can be the most creative, selfless and caring people in the world. On the other hand, my bully in high school had this placement 💀 She always used me for homework and talked sh*t about me behind my back. I feel like pisces is a placement in general, that really needs to learn how to deal with their gentle and sensitive nature. It seems like many of them try to mask their feelings by being mean/ dominant/aggressive. But it's no weakness to show emotions! 🧡 Because of my boyfriend, it's probably my favorite moon sign! 🧡

Obi wan anakin and ahsoka family soap blurb

So i just rewatched one of @zengers star wars ai videos on youtube (which i can only highly recommend they're the best) and heard obi wan calling anakin and ahsoka 'kids'. And this combined with their relationship what was always big bro little sister and their tired single dad i had an idea of soap about obi wan ahsoka and anakin and their daily life:

Anakin and ahsoka being the kids, anakin the older broher and ahsoka the younger sister and obi wan is their tired single dad raising them (also the mom role with their mom satine already passed away who had loved her beloved kids and husband uncondicionally and was so fun and warm and sweet and is missed every day so badly) and r2 d2 being their pet which dad never wanted but the kids found it lost without a home and begged him that they please could keep it an that they would ofc take care of it (obi dad has to take it on walks and feed it and we know it) but in the end he still loves it aswell. Yoda being their unhinged great grandvather already in retirement home telling dirty jokes at the dinner table on thanksgiving and qui gon being their grandfather living nearby teaching them dumb shit joining them on their stupid adventures. Mace windu being their neighbour who hates kids but especially them two who always destroy his peace and quite, windows and lawn. Yelling over the fence to kenobi to get his fucking brood in control while they always play pranks on him all the time. Padme being anakins girlfriend, rex their cousin and cody, quinlan and obi single dad besties, a bros since childhood trio.

Them (the kids and the dad bros) spreading chaos wherever they go. Kids making the dumbest decisions and going on the stupidest adventures together every day, going on their dads very last nerve and not listening to him most of the time. Them accidently almost blowing up the entire city by trying to get him the best gift for fathers day/ his birthday (they probably forgot it in the first place and gotta apologice) trying to show him how much they love and appreciate him and how sorry they are. They would do everything for him and love him uncondicionally. Obi dad sometimes even joining them on their dumb adventures or himself making the stupid decicions and them experiencing all kinds of chaotic days in normal day to day life.

Episodes where the dad bestie trio and all their kids together go on roadtrips camping and get lost and then get chased by a moose through the woods while some funny song playing the background. Or a funny day trip and then at the drive home anakin would be like "...and that was so funny you should have heard that loud splash when i threw her into the fountain, she was so mad tho. But it was so worth it cause it was sooo funny" "Well certainly not for your poor, soaking wet sister" "oh by the way while we are talking about her....where is she?" "What do you mean anakin? She's right th..." and obi dad then turning blank white in the face after looking in the backmirror while driving realising they had forgotten her in the hotel lobby (still dripping wet) and him than doing a 360. turn weels screaching and yeeting of to get her. Her pouting all the way home and obi wan apologizing the whole time "dear i'm so sorry i don't know how that could have happen your brother was going on my nerves with the pool animal and" and anakin just laughing.

Then in the end of the episodes they'd be sitting on the couch in the living room like "dad you know that we love you so much thank you for being the best of all dads" and these were the rare moments they'd be so serious and he'd be like "aw kids even tho you k*ll my very last nerve every day of course i love you guys too more than everything and i could never imagine my life without you two in it" "and r2" "yeah ofc and r2" and then after a cute warm cuddle anakin would say something like "even tho you're old as f*ck" and crack the moment with the invicible audience laughing and obi dad shaking his head sighing and laughing and then the episode ends.

Just their daily life that would be an awesome, fantastic family comedy soap.

Muppet Headcanons

I have so many random, silly Muppet headcanons I need to get out of my system, sooo here we go, bare with me

~Kermit still keeps in touch with the Sesame Street gang ever since he left them. He usually calls Elmo, Grover, or Ernie the most to check up on them and say hi!

~Apart from fish being his favorite animal, Lew Zealand is a big animal lover in general! He has an especially soft spot for all aquatic wildlife, including animals such as turtles and seabirds.

~I don't care what y'all say, Bobo and Uncle Deadly had something with each other in The Muppets (2011).

~Miss Piggy really does have a soft heart, her temper just makes it hard to show. Actually, this better be canon.

~Robin and Rowlf's nephew (from the Jimmy Dean Show) are good friends and love having play dates.

~Big Mean Carl is really emotional, he's just really good at hiding it.

~Fozzie has accidentally set things on fire more than once. Most times have been in the kitchen, he's not exactly the best cook. But it's happened so much somehow, it pretty much seems like he's prone to it.

~Sweetums gets along well with a lot of the tinier Muppets ironically. He's surprisingly really gentle when he needs to be, and is always careful with his smaller friends. Him and Yolanda are besties!

~Walter has more than once weirded out the others by just how much he knows about each of them. (Well that's what happens when your a super fan guys)

~Gonzo has a whole wardrobe that's just dresses.

~This is pretty much canon, but it's agreed Zoot has magical abilities. The guy has probably traveled to other dimensions and not even realized it.

~Also pretty much canon, but Rowlf has a much sassier side to him than he usually let's on. Most people just haven't seen it that often... except for Jimmy Dean. Jimmy Dean saw it plenty of times lol.

~Fozzie is like the resident tickle monster lol. Usually if someone doesn't laugh at his joke, he'll just be a little twerp and tickle them to make them laugh. He'll also just do it to be silly (Kermit has been a victim to his silliness the most lol).

~Kermit knows every first and middle name of all of his siblings. (which keep in mind he canonically has like over a thousand siblings)

~Beauregard knows a lot of cool random facts actually that he'll just randomly throw out there sometimes.

~Another one about Beau, him and Beaker are good friends. (They canonically usually set up stage props together on The Muppet Show)

~Scooter has so many father figures. Kermit, Dr. Teeth, Fozzie, and Rowlf are all his dads lol... and Janice is his one mom figure.

~Pepe and Rizzo have been together at some point.

~Nigel, more well-known as the band conductor from The Muppet Show, and Kermit are actually good old friends. (He was actually meant to be the host for The Muppet Show before the role was switched to Kermit)

~Lips and Dolores (trumpet girl) are really good friends despite him taking up her role as trumpet player. She'll still sometimes pick up her old trumpet and the two will play together for fun.

~I don't know why this isn't canon but. Walter. Autism. Real.

~Skeeter likes to visit the Muppet theatre every so often to visit Scooter. In the few times she's been there, she's developed pretty good relationships with all the others as well.

~Bunsen and Beaker have pretty much been together since they were literally babies (go watch Muppet Babies for proof)

~This isn't really a headcanon but something I've noticed about Miss Piggy. She seems to have a softer spot for a few of the others, and I don't just mean Kermit.

I've noticed that she genuinely baby talks Rowlf a lot, and calls him Rowlfy. She's never actually tried to karate chop him like she has others either. There's been like once she tried to swing at him, from The Muppet Show, and ended up hitting the piano instead. Personally to me, it seemed like she didn't really try with her hit like she has all other times; it was more like she was annoyingly swatting at him because he was aggravating her (which he was btw, he was teasing her). I just think her and Rowlf are good old pals, and I just think that she knows that he's genuinely sweet and doesn't wanna be mean to someone like that.

Same with Beauregard, she's been really nice to him too. She's even given him a motivational speech before from The Muppet Show (in that same episode, he hugged her and said she was his only friend and I sobbed so mentally hard over that). I think Miss Piggy just knows who generally good folks are and in turn shows her soft side to them.

I was recently editing my FF where Hancock had to talk to Shaun about him and Sole being together (like when a step-parent has to get the green light from the kiddos, and I thought it was cute). It made me wonder...

How would you see the Companions handling this situation? Or being a "step-parent?"

(Big distinction from having their own kid)

Cait; It takes multiple months to really figure things out with Shaun. She starts by mentioning one day, "By the way, yer ma/da and I are datin'. What do you want for dinner?" This is never brought up again. Shaun is fine, he's a smart lad. If ever asked to discipline, she's out the window and down the street. Not her kid, not her say. Cait has too many nerves to be Mean Mom. She's Fun Mom. She's Eat All This Candy Mom. She's kind of a disaster and Shaun finds her entertaining. Cait, for her part, is glad they don't have to go all sappy about it. Internally, always fretting and fussing about how she's doing as a parent. If anyone notices she quit the bottle, they can mind their own.

Curie; Long-winded discussion that bores Shaun half-to-death. She wants to talk mental health, healthy family dynamics, responsibilities...how its okay to feel what he feels, who to talk to about what, where do they go from here...Shaun nods along even if he's already adjusted to this being a reality. Curie wants to be the Model Mother with no shortcomings. Shaun just wants Curie, and Curie is already there. That's enough for him. Not many people can brag about their mom being an actual doctor with papers to prove it. (They're her Ms. Nanny 'adoption' papers.)

Danse; Similar to Curie, except Danse is freaking out, where Curie is cool as a cucumber. Danse is not a cucumber. He wants to win Shaun over so badly, but understands that kids are their own people, with opinions and shit. So, his speech is more along the lines of 'here's what to expect, and here's what is up to you.' Meanwhile Shaun is already thinking about Father's day...because Danse has been his dad from, like, minute one. You can't teach him science and garage stuff and not be Dad. That's like...first step to Being Shaun's Dad.

Deacon; would need his ass glued to a chair to keep him from trying to wrap it up prematurely. Can't stop making jokes but desperately wishes he could. Meanwhile, Shaun is Not Entirely Impressed. Deacon is a liar. He runs off. He changes his identity. Shaun isn't convinced he's not going to go get cigarettes one day and vanish. And having kids is a sore spot for Deacon. This is territory he paved over long ago. But he forces himself to take a pickaxe and start peeling back those layers, self-actualize. Shaun sees this and accepts Deacon as Dad. They go on What Trouble Can We Get Into Without Mom/Dad Finding Out adventures.

Gage; i really hope Gage can keep his temper in check here, because Shaun is not having this. Raider. Manipulative, probably also a liar, violent tendencies, lacks morals, etc etc etc. Will 100% bring up Nate/Nora. "Mom's/Dad's last partner was a war hero/civil rights lawyer. What do you do for work?" Gage might be more skittish than Deacon here. He was expected a geek kid. Not someone staring through his soul and tsking. Brings back little gadgets for Shaun as peace offerings, cleans up his act somewhat. Maybe starts cleaning himself more if Shaun comments on his hygiene. Look, he ain't running from Sole because of their, in all fairness, honest, objectively correct child. But he can't just butt heads with him all his damn life either. With enough time, Gage takes Shaun and tries to actually parent. Shows him survival tricks. How to skin an animal, fire-starting, whittling. Stuff his own family taught him. Shaun needs only a few good looks at Gage's soft side before he's on board.

Hancock; Shaun is. So torn. One hand, Hancock is fun and nice and really cares for his parent. On the other, Hancock is a chemhead from The Place Where Everyone Is High And Having Sex Constantly. He likes Hancock as a weird uncle. As a dad...hmm...he's suspicious. Is Hancock husband material? Hancock himself doesn't think so and will fully admit to Shaun "Hey, I've got shit to work on, and I'm working on it, because your mom/dad is everything to me, and we're not going to just leave you out to dry." Hancock wants Shaun to be better than him, to not feel too comfortable in places Hancock himself would call homely. Teaches him to value the freaks in the world, and his community, but understand that a fun hole six feet down is still a hole six feet down. If he ever realized he was the Rules Dad, would go on an Irresponsible Parent bender to correct. No one learns that Shaun got a flamethrower out of this until Its Too Late.

MacCready; Takes ten minutes and most of it is talking about having a brother. Raises Shaun like his own, Shaun calls him Dad the quickest. What? He's already a dad. MacCready needs no intro to parenthood. This just makes sense to everyone involved and there only hiccup is Shaun worrying about sharing a room. Not because jealousy or anything, but he has potentially flammable/electric gadgets he's working on, and Duncan is a curious boy.

Nick; Also needs no introduction beyond "Hey I know the synth thing is weird but you want mac and cheese for dinner?" This just. Makes. Sense. Honeslty, even if not romanced, Nick is still Dad. Come on. He just is. Nick himself will grapple with the horror of potentially outlining both Sole and their child, but Shaun is just excited to spend more time with his cool robot detective dad. Hey, how does your hand work? Can I see the joints? How do you smoke, can I see your lungs? Nick is the one who needs an adjustment period. Teaches Shaun snark and now no adult dare sass him.

Piper; Also no introduction. The only hiccup here is that Nat, previously Shaun's bestie, is now his aunt. And both of them are really weirded out by this. Nat isn't helping by insisting she has to start drinking wine. No, Natalie, that was just a quirk of Aunt Darcy, not a universal rule. Piper herself is Shaun's confidant, the one he goes to whenever he needs to talk. Why not Sole? Well, its just...Sole only ever responds 1 of 4 ways, and Shaun has developed a sixth sense to intuit those responses, so...when he needs someone normal, he goes to Piper. Piper is a wildcard and also, gives him candy.

Preston; I HC he's a middling child of a big, big family, with lots of relatives nearby, if not in the same house. So, Preston has this child raising shit on lock. Sits Shaun down, gives him a quick rundown of the basics, asks if he has any questions, and boom. Done. Preston would rather be a parent/guardian/trusted adult than he's going to be. Actions, not words. He's probably the most likely to sway Shaun from his science interests. Not intentionally, but its hard to look at Preston and Sole, hear their stories, and not want to follow your parents in their Minuteman ways. And if Sole leads the Institute? Shaun is set up to really change the wasteland.

X6-88; 400+ PowerPoint slide. The doors are locked. He provided refreshments. Shaun allows this because he understands that X6-88 needs this more than him. Sole might have some objections. X6-88 raises Shaun with education in mind. Shaun just keeps asking questions about what its like to be a courser. Excellent, questions like that are preludes to a brilliant mind. No one challenges Shaun to "my dad could beat your dad in a fight." Shaun, for his part, likes this killing machine fumble around domestic life. He's worse than Cait at it.

Pokemon the Anime: I love Ash Ketchum but...

Hi, friends. Fun fact about me: I love Pokemon! And I loved the anime! To me, Pokemon is a part of my childhood that I will always cherish dearly and it was one of the first animes I got into. Looking back on it, it still holds up, but there is one thing that I have come to realize about it. We need to talk about Ash Ketchum...

Now, let me make it clear that I love Ash Ketchum. I think he’s adorable, funny and his passionate energy rubs off on you in all of the right ways. Plus, he is passionate without being obsessed and still cares enough about people and doing things right that he has a heroic streak. However... he is not a good fit as a main character because while we root for him and love him, his story is too linear, his character development is minimal, we all knew he was going to win in the end and honestly, seeing his story unfold all the time got very dull. Plus, we never really got to know Ash as a character. Just to give you an example, in ALL of the anime’s run, we never find out who his dad is/was or what his mom does for a living. In other words, he is an MC who never really develops beyond his professional skills and never really get to know. We know more about Team Rocket (Jessie, James and Meowth) than we do about Ash. To me, he would have worked better as a secondary character not an main one. In fact, this lack of details and repetitive formula is why I eventually stopped watching the anime. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy Ash won in the end, but... his story took way too long and got dull. The character who would have main a great MC for the anime is someone who did undergo a lot of development, maturing and more.

Gary Oak. Now hear me out...

The Pokemon anime is essentially a tournament anime series where the standard formula is that the MC goes in and comes out the winner. However, Gary would have been unique, compelling and memorable for many reasons if HE was the MC.

First off, unlike most MC’s of this genre of anime, Gary is initially not likeable. He is egotistical, unkind, rude and a big bully. I remember than as a girl, I hated Gary and used to wish his grandpa, Prof. Oak, would ground him. However, as the series progressed, so did he. He softened his behaviour, learned humility and let his rivalry with Ash go which freed him emotionally and allowed him to grow up. While he still has a mischievous and competitive streak, he doesn’t get mean about it nor is he a showboat. And he dropped the personal cheerleading squad. He now seeks to better himself rather than constantly having his ego stroked which is something really refreshing and enjoyable to experience. I can’t really say his journey was a redemption story. It was a growing up story and a tale that reminds us that we all had our phases as kids, but we grow out of them.

Secondly, as I stated before, Gary let his rivalry with Ash go and became better for it. When he did, he realized, his calling wasn’t to be a trainer, but a researcher and he was actually really good at it. Honestly, it was this turning point that made me realize that Gary’s story was more interesting than Ash’s and I really wanted to see more of his story. In fact, I also found myself wishing we saw more of his story before that turning point kind of like Ashoka Tano’s from Star Wars, but unlike her, we were deprived of that. I would even argue that this was a reoccurring flaw in the Pokemon anime series: they never answered the questions everyone kept asking and never let us get to know the true MCs. The point is, I don’t know of any other tournament anime where the rival decided to graciously step down and turn their attention towards their true passion. Now... imagine if the MC did this. I know Pokemon is a tournament anime, but it is also an anime about Pokemon first. Gary should have gotten his own spin-off anime simply because he is the most unique rival there is in this kind of setting: he quit and was better for it.

Thirdly, having the show concentrate on him would have given us a chance to get to know the other MCs more and FINALLY answer a lot of the questions that to this day are still left unanswered. It’s very clear that the Oaks and Ketchums are very close the way the Burns and Greene family are close on Rescue Bots. I really enjoyed seeing how close the two families were and how Prof. Oak was like a father figure to Ash and a sweet grandpa to Gary. Also, Prof. Oak himself is an interesting and entertaining character. To this day, we still don’t know who Mrs. Oak was or who Gary’s parents are. Or who Mr. Ketchum was. It is a shame to me that these blanks were never filled because it is implied that they were great people and these missing pieces would explain why these characters are the way they are.

Anyway, this all just my opinion and as a rare treat, here is my fan theory about Prof. Oak’s wife, Mr. Ketchum and Gary’s missing parents... And I really want to say this first because this fan theory always made me mad, but I will try to say it nicely, but firmly.

Prof. Oak is NOT Ash’s father nor is it possible for him to be because Nintendo would never allow such a disturbing thing. And because of the Professor and Mrs. Ketchum’s age difference, it would imply that Gary is Ash’s uncle while being the same age as him. That is sick and wrong on so many levels and not something they would ever want on Pokemon and we already SHOULD know from the start that Prof. Oak can’t be Ash’s dad because has black hair.

Professor Oak is a redhead and so is his mom. And their relationship is not romantic now either. It is that between two good friends. If it is anything beyond that, I think Prof. Oak may see Delia as the daughter he never had. Same goes with Giovanni. He cannot be Ash’s dad because he looks nothing like him.

Plus, Ash has two distinguishing marks on his face that his mom doesn’t have which means he got that, his hair and olive skin tone from his dad who had all of these features. My fan theory is that Mrs. Delia Ketchum is a widow and her husband is no longer with us. Plain and simple. He was obviously a good man and a good husband who left a good impression on Ash, but I think he died most likely of disease while he was very young.

As for Mrs. Oak... Agatha is NOT Prof. Oak’s ex-wife because if she was, we would have always known it and be treated like a relative. Once a family member is revealed, there’s no point in hiding it so the anime always came clean when it came to that at least, but the most we got out of Agatha is that she was an old rival of Prof Oak which means that is all she is. Period.

I think the good Professor is divorced on bad terms considering he never speaks of his wife and has no ring which from experience, I can tell you is often a tell tale sign that you were once married, but it ended badly. As for Gary’s parents, I think that knowing Nintendo, their state is simple: they’re alive, but career driven people where they aren’t home very often so they left caring for the kids to Prof. Oak and Mrs. Oak (if she was alive then). Nothing dramatic or over the top. Just simple and short like that. Also, I think it is safe to say that the Oak family is well off (including the ex-Mrs. Oak) considering they all live so well.

Finally, how does Giovanni have ties to the Ketchum and Oak family? Well, Giovanni is in fact old and close to Prof. Oak’s age. His mom had him young, and while he is rich enough to afford facials that make him appear young, if you take a really good look at his face, he has wrinkles, a receding hairline and his face has lost some of its fullness which implies some sagging. My fan theory is that he was once rivals with Prof. Oak in their youth and Mr. Ketchum is one of the few people who managed to beat Giovanni in a Pokemon Battle.

Like I said, this series is made for kids. It wouldn’t include adult theme dramatic elements like that. I admit some of the characters have exaggerated and weird backstories with some drama, but it never becomes dirty, adult or something you would find in a trashy soap opera.

The Character in general :

-Ashley is not an introverted person and neither an extraverted, she is what we can call an ambivert. She likes staying at home and be alone but also likes hanging out with Friend and never had any problems to fit in in a new social group for exemple ( fun fact: when she has to call someone that she is not really close with or not close at all she always wish they don't pick up cause she HATES talking trought the phone...even taugh if u see her speaking on the phone she looks like an extroverted person )

-How ever Asley doesn't have alot of confidence, sometimes she need someone to push her to do something that she think that she can't do it...Most of the time it's Friend who does this job 🗿

-Her fav hobby is drawing, she does comissions when she can and is studying in an art school. How ever...She actually likes everything when it comes to art, when she buys a new clothe or find an old one that still suits her she likes to custome it by sewing a little ( the white hoodie she is wearing is a good exemple, she actually sewed the rabbit's ears and tail on it ) she is not as good as Friend but she definetly learned some technics from watching him doing his crafts. She likes to do guitar/sing etc...in short: she is a really creative human been

Interaction with others:

-Most of people who worked with her or talked with her once, always finded her sweet and pretty gentle, she doesn't like to bother people in general

-Ashley is that type of person who doesn't like to see people sad or in a struggle ( exemple : when she seens a homeless person if she has money on her she always makes sure to give some money or buy something to eat/ clothes for them ) unfortunatly some people took advantages from this kindness in the past, she tries to be a little but more careful now

Family?:

she has: 2 big brothers, one little sister and a mom with a dad.

Ashley's family is pretty supportive and extremely kind, one of her big brother work in the army so she doesn't sees him often and the other work abroad so she doesn't sees him neither very much

-She doesn't like it when Friend buys her expensive things or anythings in general, she always feels bad for not always paying him back for everythings that he buyed for her

-Like we saw she likes observing Friend when he is focussed on his work, sometimes when she has the courage (rarely) she asks Friend some tips/ She also draw some plushy sketchs to gave him some ideas if he need some

Interaction with Friend as a Partner:

-So...let's start with HORNYNESS....Welp...sorry to dissapoint you but Ashley is not a horny person at all 😂😭. How ever...after maybe a year of dating ? she will started to get a little bit more confturbal with this kind of stuff, so to be honest Friend just need to be passiant-

So my friend and I were in pretty similar situations after high school (doing freelance creative work from home, not going out much, dealing with controlling families, health issues, etc.) but then she turned 'normal' and completely unrelatable.

I can't talk with her anymore without feeling like shit, sometimes even suicidal honestly. I was happy for her but it's like she completely forgot who she used to be, and just thinks of me as some pathetic, pitiful person. She has flat-out told me things like "your life is never going to get better" and "things are just going to keep getting worse for you" (which aren't good things for a suicidal unstable person in the middle of a depressive episode to hear, and really just made me feel like there was no point in continuing to live).

She thinks that just because she works outside the house now, lives away from her parents, and has a guy to go on cute dates with, none of her past matters anymore. We don't have anything in common anymore because she stopped liking things like anime and games. We used to plan projects together, we wanted to make manga and visual novels together, but she doesn't care about that stuff anymore and says her "old interests" (AKA the things that are my current interests) are just "cringe".

If we "talk" (which we haven't done in like 3 months, thankfully) it's basically her deciding that she's like my therapist and interrogating me about my life in an intrusive way rather than a genuinely caring way and using it as an excuse to try to tell me what to do. She's always asking me shit like "Why can't you just run away from home?" when she never ran away from home either when she was in a situation like mine??? Her mom found a place for her, otherwise I don't think she would've left on her own. Yet she feels like she has the right to judge me for staying with my mom (and my grandma when she was alive) when like... she should know firsthand how hard it can be to leave home. Especially in my case where my grandma was in her last years of life and severely ill, and now with my mom being paralyzed and needing someone with her all the time while my dad avoids being with us.

Again, I haven't talked to her in months and I slowly just want to fade out of her life since I really have no interest in her anymore much less her unsolicited "advice" and pity. I just get kind of sad when I run into something that the "old her" would've liked. I really miss our old conversations and feeling like I had someone with all the same interests who I could ramble to and have fun with. But yeah, now she's "better" than that and we're just too different.

i need Lila, Minji, Judas, and Lucy bonding 😤😤😤

See, I've already told you a little bit about Lila bonding with Lucy! She calls V's daughter Lucy, "Little Lucy!" You know, because Lila's sister is also named Lucy. I still can't believe I named her sister that back in the day and then Cheritz smacked me in the face by also using that name in canon. But, Lila did, in fact, make sure it was okay to call her that, though.

Just like calling somebody "[name] Jr", she doesn't want Lucy to feel like she's second banana to her sister Lucy. Lila knows what it feels like to be in somebody's shadow, after all, her mom tried to make her live in her big sister's shadow her entire life. Fortunately, her sister never let that break their relationship, but it's something that bothers her sometimes even after these years.

Lila video calls her sister to show Lucy the dog sanctuary she runs back home in America. Lucy loves to see all the different dogs, and it's kind of sweet to know there's a Big Lucy out there who helps all kinds of animals in need, just like how her Uncle Jumin takes care of different kitty cats.

Fun fact, this is the first time I'm telling anybody this, but my take on Jihyun’s new career post-VAE is as a painter, but he has a hobby on the side. He offers art classes to all ages, but he focuses mainly on teaching young children. Do you know who his assistant is? That’s right! Lila is his assistant. She’s also a painter, you know, she and V have that in common, and the one good thing about the VAE is that they actually get to build a friendship. 

But, working with V is a lot of fun for Lila, believe it or not. Lucy goes to those art classes all the time because her Dad runs them, but she loves whenever Lila's in the class, because she always has stickers to give out the kids and Lucy is sticker fiend. She has a collection that's growing by the day.

Minji, on the other hand, loves to dote on Lucy whenever she comes over with Saeyoung and Judas. Lucy gets to learn how bake things hands-on, and it doesn't matter what she wants, Minji helps her find a way to make it. That's the fun thing, Saeyoung sits down with Lucy and helps her draw something silly, and Minji helps them turn it into a feasible project.

That means even if it's a nine-layer longcat ice cream cake, Minji will find a way.

She's just that kind of person. I don't know what to tell you, you just shouldn't doubt her ability in the kitchen. Lucy also gets free treats whenever she visits the cafe Minji and Jaehee operate. Of course, it helps that those samples are to help them figure out the next item of to go on the seasonal menu, but hey, Lucy isn’t complaining about being a guinea pig. She gets to have as many treats as she wants and nobody tells her to stop!

Okay, granted, Jihyun makes them limit it to two treats per visit, but that's because his partner scolded him a little bit for letting her sneak treats.

Judas is a sweetheart, at least, when he wants to be. Contrary to popular belief, he's great with kids. He may not always know what to say to them in certain situations, but he’s a good listener and that’s what benefits him. A lot of kids want to be heard, especially kids who haven't had the opportunity to be heard by other people, and he sees that Lucy needs that. 

He doesn't know what her life was like before she was adopted, but he knows that when he ended up on the streets, all he wanted was for somebody to hear him. It's not even that he wanted to be seen, he wanted to be heard. He knows people might always overlook him no matter how old he gets and how much visible he seems to the world, but if his voice is loud enough, they can't ignore him. 

Lucy gets to talk about anything that's on her mind whenever he comes over to visit. The funny thing is, he learns how to hold the conversations with her about whatever she's deeply invested in at the moment. Being that she's a kid, that can change day from day, but it also means he may now know the lore of the My Little Pony universe far more now than he did yesterday. 

When he was with his parents, the only thing he was allowed to do was what his mother deemed acceptable. He wasn't allowed to be interested in anything that didn't benefit the family, and he never wants a kid to go unheard. Even if that means he needs to learn why friendship is magic. By God, he'll listen to her, and his favorite pony is Rarity, by the way.

I would love to see your plushies collection! How many of them have names?

All of them!

And here they are!

These are Creamer and Angus! The trusty steeds of my stuffed animal collection! They didn't talk like the others, but they had some personality; both loyal, Creamer (the palomino) more friendly and Angus (the black one) more guarded.

These two are Katy and Lucy/Andy. Katy (grey) is the more timid one, and was given to me by my younger brother. Lucy is a friendly and outgoing person, but when I made her a boy, 'Andy' he was more of a jokester and risk taker. Lucy/Andy was given to me for the Christmas my dad was overseas, in my stocking. My mom had an identical one that I loved to bits, so she got me my own.

Katy is the twin sister to my elder sibling's identical cat "Kitty"(very original, I know)

Fun fact! These two kitties have magnets in their paws and foreheads! So they can hold hands, play peek-a-boo and stick to anything metal!

These two are Kittiwink and Rocky! They're BlueNoses™ and I think they're from England?

Fun fact! These two were also gifts from my dad when he was deployed. That same Christmas, he sent these over for us, and my mom let us choose which ones we wanted. My siblings all went first, so Rocky and Kittiwink were the last two when me and my roommate (current and at that time) got our turns. Because I was the only one who had cleaned our room that night, I got first pick and chose Kittiwink, and my sister got Rocky, but was upset because he was "ugly".

Kittiwink was later burned at the stake (put on top of a light bulb and melted) by my toddler brother, so the one I have now is actually one my dad got me when I was 14, for my birthday.

Kiitiwink is a timid and quiet deary, with good manners and a lot of cowardice. Come to think of it, she's a lot like how I write Ravio nowadays; caring but cowardly, and never eager to step on toes, but willing to push matters or tease if she feels comfortable.

Rocky was a bully, originally, because my sister hated him, but when he came to me (because she didn't like him) I made him a studious little nerd with a love of astronomy! He and Kittiwink have been a couple since then, although I have at times elected to cast them as siblings when needed. Their romance is very timid and sweet, but very classy <3

These three are Lewis (Grey), Susanna (White) and Roy (Orange). Lewis was a garage sale find, and Susana and Roy I bought online. I had a cat just like Susana when I was seven, that I most cleverly named "White" and whom was my favorite stuffy for forever. When my dad was deployed over Christmas, my mom was actually almost ready to pop with my second brother, so we had to travel out of state to stay with some friends of hers while the baby was born, because our regular sitters all got hung up with something and we had no family in that part of the country. I left White in the living-room window to greet me when I got home, but she wasn't there when I got back. My siblings tried to convince me that she was so old that she disintegrated :(

I bought Susana when I was older, in hopes of replacing my beloved stuffy, but she wasn't the same except in looks. Where White was sweet and gentle, Susana is stern, stuffy and very proper, with an elder sibling like need to correct other people and keep everyone behaving according to the rules of society.

Roy is her lover, a charismatic and charming leader sort who ended up as arm candy more than not because I had no great male role models to inspire him, and thus he was just there as...arm candy.

Lewis is a stupid and lovable bafoon and Roy's best friend. He occasionally played a villain or henchman, but was also a goof and jokester when he wasn't kidnapping or enslaving innocents or committing war crimes.

This is Susana. Another stocking stuffer, but this one hated. She's very cute, but don't let her face fool you, she's made of cherpa! A most detestable ick material that always makes me uncomfortable. For this crime, she was made the Karen of this world, and an all around bully and entitled jerk to anyone and everyone for no reason whatsoever. Why, you ask? Because this way I didn't have to touch her very much :)

These two are Jacob and Jingle! Two of a trio, the third (their elder brother) belongs to my elder sister, and is named John. their last name is Heimer-Schmitt >:)

Yes, we sang that song incessantly whenever this trio came into play "John-Jacob-Jingeheimer-Schmitt!". They're children of the local butcher, these three were honest but poor and always provided backup, care, and support for those around them. John was madly in love with the aristocratic Kitty, but his siblings were content with their lot and friendly with most but not attempting to climb the social ladder. Jingle is sweet and motherly and Jacob somewhat clueless but well meaning.

For no reason whatsoever, Jingle was the only one with a cockney accent.

This is William. He is a classist aristocrat with an attitude problem. My second elder sister gave him to me when I was eight, for my birthday. I wanted to name him Miracle and make him a girl, but his perpetual scowl made it barely believable and he quickly became the stern, serious and somewhat antagonistic figure he is now known as. Sometimes a villain, sometimes not, but never quite the hero, he was never able to land a lady, despite the fact that he was commonly portrayed as quite the catch.

These two are Martin (mouse) and Mattie (bunny). They're both hand-me-downs with tragically already established personalities belonging to my second elder sister. Bitter rivals for no apparent reason and hardly equal, Martin is a weary but resiliant fighter and skillful in his craft, and Mattie is a gluttonous oaf who lacks any real grounds to stand a threat to anyone, especially with his nonsensically poor attempts at manipulation.

Mattie is absolutely adorable, but my every attempt to redeem him into a likable character failed after he came into my possession, du to bias from my playmates, and he is now doomed to be thought of as the stupid villain forever :(

Martin is cardboard and boring, and his charming rabbit ears were butchered in the first of many experiments by my sister to try altering him. He is now a mouse :(

This is Daisy! One of a trio of rabbits belonging to my eldest sister, my room-mate and myself, she's basically me! She's well meaning but unfortunately quick to charge ahead. Inquisitive but not as insightful as likely would be best, and with a good heart but not always a full understanding of how things actually work.

Her sisters, Blossom (elder sister) and Violet (room-mate) and she are all BlueNoses™ as well. Blossom is quiet, delicate, timid, and a coward, and Violet is bold, brash, independent and possibly gender fluid, apparently (room-mate's words).

Daisy came to me on December 10 as a replacement after my brother burned my beloved BlueNose™ at the stake when I was small. I loved bunnies a lot as a kid, so when my dad told me to choose a replacement for my ruined stuffy, Daisy was my first pick. I named her after my mom's favorite flower and she's been my favorite stuffy since before she even arrived.

This last trio is Dusky (left), Sierra (center) and Blackie (right). The two dogs are hand me downs from the sisters on either side of me in the age line up, and Sierra was also a hand-me-down from the second elder sibling.

These three form a small detective agency in the animal world we played in. Sierra is the chipper, friendly, but devious lead detective. She's bright and bubbly, but quick and dangerous when need be. Yes, she is a skunk, but I never let it bother me and she's been a favorite with almost all the babies in the family.

Dusky is her work-partner, a more serious, and somewhat butch female cop with a no-nonsense attitude but a soft spot for her team-mate. They're a good team, although unlikely friends and despite my younger sister's insistence, they are not lesbians, just besties.

Blackie is their commander and a stern and serious guy who mostly didn't show up in games except either to arrest someone, guard something, or occasionally to drop the role as the gruff cop and take on the position of the loyal soldier to a cruel overlord.

So yeah! that's all of them!

Or most anyway, I've collected a few random ones over the years, but none of them have ever been payed with because i was already grown up when I got them

YIPPPEEEE OKAY SO. australia is ruled by fukase the vocaloid and he was so shit at ruling his own continent that it started fighting itself. and it kept escalating. and its still escalating. and now australia is basically like Hell Itself and it got so bad there that hatsune miku just decided no one can ever get in or out of there ever again for the rest of the world's own safety. survival of the fittest she says

but all of that is like barely relevant to the ocs there. maur is actually australian and he has Seen Shit but he managed to get out on a tiny little raft in cat form and has never looked back since. iron is also australian but he's never left australia. this is also why they are bright pink

most ppl in world 1 are some sort of animal hybrid or have some power but there are of course regular people who have neither. jimmy is one of these people but he honestly does not care because who needs powers when theres cats !!! gude has the ultimate super special absolutely earth shattering power of. making chair arms whenever they want out of thin air. they will always use this to the best comedic effect as they can. oh yeah they're also half elf from their dad's side

umbra however. his power is Very Special. he can kinndaa travel time but he stays in the same place he was at before he time travelled just in a different time period and when he goes back to the present the time he spent in the past passes by in the present too. if that makes sense. his entire family's had it and it's been passed down from generation to generation. the government wants to find them so he has to keep his powers a very close guarded secret. however! they also have a drawback. the more times you time travel the sooner you're gonna go insane from it all and kinda just. break time itself for you alone and it's generally Very Unpleasant. this happened to umbra's mom when he was young and since she never got the chance to tell him about the powers when she was alive he doesn't even know what happened to her. she was just gone one day and everyone he asked said she never existed at all. not very fun! he assumed she just got lost somewhere in the past or future or something and he keeps trying to find her that way but uh oh! he's inching closer and closer to certain death every time he does that! and he has no idea! so sad!!!

there is also this storyline thats been cooking in my head for a bit that includes all the various umbra and maur aus which is why umbras family even has that power. something about an Original Umbra and an Original Maur and they did Something. i dont really know. but basically umbra is cursed forever
