[ oc post ] @raedoodles has been asking me for a while to do a reference sheet of my boys along with their respective details (scars, tattoos, birthmarks ect).

It’s so much fun to see them side by side for once. It definitely helps to highlight their differences as well as their similarities, few as they are.

Which build between the lads do you prefer? Taiki is definitely broader all around with more defined muscle but he’s not super buff. Whereas Fisk is definitely more lean built which suits their respective fighting styles very well. Fisk is also very much a short king, especially for the op universe.

I enjoy seeing PPG fan interpretations of the characters online, and I think it's very interesting to explore the varied ways that people interpret them. The diversity of ideas and different perspectives are really cool! It's just that every time I see a fan interpretation of a “future” Mojo Jojo (“future” meaning 10-15 years from the original timeline) portrayed as some doddering old wrinkly elderly dude with grey fur riding a robot wheelchair, I just can't help but be like... huh?

Why would you so drastically age up this super smart actual baby?

It's weird because, yeah, if you stop and think about it… he's technically around the same age as the PPG (perhaps even younger because they were born at five years old... this is a weird show, what can I say), so despite his hilariously deep voice or love of the more mature, finer things in life (which I just view as him trying to be more refined since, you know, he now has like all the intelligence ever)... I just don't feel in my heart of hearts that he would be drinking prune juice and watching The Price Is Right if the girls were teens/adults. He'd probably be more or less the same as he is canonically since he’d still retain his super intelligence (maybe he’d be a little taller as a treat, or at the very least he’d just whine even more than usual… maybe even more jaded, we just don't know).

The Spaghetti Mountain and the Snowman

Part 1

(This is Part 2 of The Chosen Ones series. These stories are not written in chronological order.)

After Leta finished preschool duties at the Scamander brothers’ home with three-year-olds Juliet and Judette, the girls excitedly pulled Newt and Theseus toward the table that their paintings were lying on to dry. Leta smiled at the scene, but when her gaze landed on Judette and Newt, her smile became a little nervous.

Judette eagerly grabbed her painting and showed it to Newt. Newt took it from her, and his jaw slightly dropped when he saw it. There was a giant triangularish-shaped blob of reddish-pink paint in the middle. The blob was very thick with paint, so thick that it was probably going to take around two days to dry.

Newt’s lips then curled into a humorous smile, and he said, “It’s nice, Judette. What is it?”

“It’s a spaghetti mountain!” she said enthusiastically, a big smile on her face.

Newt burst out laughing.

Theseus’s head turned towards Newt and Juliet. His hands were holding Juliet’s painting.

“What is it?” Theseus asked, smiling.

Newt just motioned to him to look at Judette’s painting.

Theseus set Juliet’s painting back on the table and patted his daughter’s shoulder affectionately. Then he turned and looked at the painting in Newt’s hands.

“Oh!” He saw the blob but also noticed how much paint was on the paper. “Wow.”

“She said it’s a spaghetti mountain,” Newt said, grinning.

“A spa—” Theseus put his hand to his forehead and shook his head, laughing.

Both men looked over at Leta, who gave them an apologetic but amused smile.

“It’s nice, Judette,” Theseus finally said to his niece as his laughter died down. Judette grinned proudly.

Newt carefully set Judette’s very thickly-painted painting back on the table, and gently squeezed his daughter’s shoulder in affection. Then his gaze turned to Juliet, and he asked to see her painting. She happily showed him her painting of a snowman.

“Tell him who the snowman is,” Theseus said, grinning.

“He’s Frosty’s brother!” Juliet declared.

“Is he now?” Newt asked, smiling at her.

“Yeah.”

“Alright,” he said softly. “What’s his name?”

“Sky,” she murmured.

“Sky,” Newt repeated. “That’s a nice name.”

Newt admired the painting and then looked at his niece as he said, “It’s great, Juliet.”

Juliet beamed.

Corey Altman Lookbook!

So this is my first lookbook and I'm not sure if I did it right but for science I thought it would be fun to take a look at how Corey's look changed throughout the globetrotter challenge! It seemed like a good way to wrap things up and buy myself time until I can figure out what I'm doing next...

It's actually kind of boring though because, aside from his hair, he wore a lot of the same pieces, which I thought made sense for gameplay but didn't make for an interesting lookbook 😅

Anyway, a bit of a fun fact, Corey's round six everyday wear is the original look I gave him way back when he was first created! The whole challenge became building up his look until it reached the "original outfit" which was a lot of fun for me 😊😊
