[ oc post ] @raedoodles has been asking me for a while to do a reference sheet of my boys along with their respective details (scars, tattoos, birthmarks ect).
It’s so much fun to see them side by side for once. It definitely helps to highlight their differences as well as their similarities, few as they are.
Which build between the lads do you prefer? Taiki is definitely broader all around with more defined muscle but he’s not super buff. Whereas Fisk is definitely more lean built which suits their respective fighting styles very well. Fisk is also very much a short king, especially for the op universe.

To be honest, I haven't yet watched ep 10😯 I'm so glad they put some more emotions into Taiki !
Too bad we didnt get any interaction with all the siblings.. it really feels like the author doesn't have time for most stuff and just rushes everything.
It's truly not Taiki's fault he has the most fucked up parents ever! He's really the victim of the situation too😭💔 I understand he could either feel responsible that his mere existence brought so much suffering or that he has to fix what Airi, Seijuro, Hikari has done but... this is so so sad, he has completely nothing to do with it, but since Aka gives him no arc he will probably carry that weight for the rest of his life.. You're right.., isn't it exactly what Hikaru had felt? The 'carrying the weight of their lives' whole thing, I just hope Kindaichi learned from his mistakes too, and knows exactly how to prevent Taiki from being too overwhelmed by the truth. Neither Hikaru nor Taiki should carry the responsibility over what happened back then, they were just kids.
Truly Like Father, Like Son,, they both internalize the pain and blame. Their meeting could be such an important moment, I hope somebody writes an au even if Aka doesn't.
-- Oh and, what I meant is that we can somehow guess how Hikaru feels about Taiki from his avoidance etc. but.. that's too little, there's not a single panel except that one imagery (Hikaru's true memory) with Taiki at funeral where we see this conflict showed in Hikaru's mind. And I know Aqua probably wouldn't show this in the movie itself as to not touch on this sensitive subject and not hurt Taiki himself (It's not even needed for revenge), but that's such an important part of what's going on, of why Ai left him (as in, not to put another responsibility on his shoulders), of what pushed him over the edge, and yet we don't see anything of what Hikaru seems to think about Taiki.
The same with Taiki, because Hikaru is basically the only thing connecting him to our protagonists, the only reason he exists in this story (not only as being born but he appeared in manga for Hikaru's terrible backstory to be explored), and again, we got even less from him, we don't see any thoughts being directly about Hikaru etc. [ Which is quite insane because he already had to cope with trauma of losing parents and decided to glorify his mom just for her to be a child rapist and himself being born from rape. That's a life-changing knowledge, a material for a whole character arc even. Also remember how he excused his faults by being his father's son? His whole identity had to be shaken bc of this horrible truth too. Yet it's all invisible to us.]
So giving all that, a sudden meeting, without much earlier hints, could be very out-of-place, because first we need to see the actual conflict before getting a satisfying conclusion to it.
Also yes please make some art of them!🥺
AKA, please, one interaction between adult Taiki and Hikaru, PLEASE
I need an angsty pannel between them
The angst potential is way too good (maybe a bit of comfort too?)
