i love remus so so much :( lately, what’s been on my mind is mean bf!remus. and honestly, i don’t think it’s too far off from canon remus if we really think about it :0 he’s so so mean n grumpy all the time and yet, he’s with you, someone that’s the complete opposite of him :( sunshine reader x grumpy remus is literally my weakness.

of course, sometimes he can be a little mean to you, but it’s all out of good love and teasing. mean bf!remus who slaps your ass as you’re in a rush to get ready for class and simply laughs meanly when you whine about it hurting, apologizing to you condescendingly, and asking if he can kiss the bruise he left better :(

mean bf!remus who corners you in a corridor when he misses you in class suddenly, asking you why you haven’t been paying enough attention to him, roughly kissing you and groping you all over, eating up the surprised gasps and mewls that leave your pretty mouth as he has his way with you :(

mean bf!remus who feels himself getting harder at the sight of your tears as he overstimulates you :( you’re begging him to stop but until you don’t say the safe word, he’s relentless. he’d groan, staring intently at your pouty, quivering lips and your teary eyes :( he loves making his baby cry out of pleasure but he’ll go to war if someone else makes you cry !

I've long suspected that Mt Eternal is where the Tower of Thorns rests (or what is left of it anyway) due to several factors- the biggest being how chapter 8 ends with Zayne on Mt Eternal either sealing or clearing (interacting in some way at least) with something frozen or buried in the ice and snow there.

However, last night I was doing some rereading, and this afternoon a very specific thing caught my attention.

That is DEFINITELY the exact same mountain peak. I grew up in the Teton mountain range in the Rockies, my stupid little lizard brain recognizes peak patterns before anything else lol.

Maybe I'm super late to the party and everyone else already knows exactly what it is Zayne is doing here, but this makes me feel like he's finally remembering who he is now, and he's trying to either gain access to the tower (for abilities? A prophecy? The staff?) Or he's bound and determined to not let whatever is in there out again if it's trying to reclaim him.

"Remains shackled to time" is also especially troubling when you consider the vines of thorns and chains that literally bound him, and the verse from his myth:

"Astra gifted one of his eyes to the Foreseer. By walking the winding path of time did the Foreseer understand its passing. This is the power of a god” -Philos: Tome of the Foreseer.

The eye of Astra quite literally shackled him to time. While he was boundless in the sense of existing outside of time, he was more constrained than anyone bound to death.

Idk there is a lot to dissect but I need time to piece it all together. I just needed to get this out before I imploded.

would i be crazy to say that billy could be a college football coach and you the new doctor for the team...

maybe he played college football and then he later got hired back to the same school he played for not that many years later

he jokes when he meets you that you may need to do a physical check up on him with the way the team runs him ragged since he's young for a coach and so they get him to play a bit with them and you flirt a bit telling him your door is always open if he wants one

Omg omg ok so I’ll say I don’t know much abt football but I DO KNOW ABT ROMCOMS and also in my head football coaches are just. Always mad

the players constantly joke and talk to you, a lot of the time really middle schoolish jokes and Billy is always huffing and grabbing them by the back of their jersey, pulling them to apologize even though its fairly harmless stuff like “doc I think j got a concussion can you kiss it better” and you know they don’t really mean much but Billy won’t have that round you

And you stand on the sidelines with him and a few other coach staff and he shouts and curses after a bad play, puts his fist over his lips in that “omfg I’m gonna spew hell” expression, then he remembers you’re there and he puts his hand out like “M’ sorry, forgot there’s a lady.” But after you say it’s fine he goes “but they really are fuckin’ meatheads, ‘scuse my French!”

The players prolly say something about how their coach keeps on staring at the new doc and he makes them do 50 40’s and burpees and shit 😭😭
