silly idea! So the vikings had a varied view of death with a multitude of locations for souls to end up.

What if Hiccup, especially when he was younger, assumed that his soul would not end up with the rest of his tribe.

Valhalla is for warriors, especially those that died in battle. a few might be chosen by freyja to go to Fólkvangr

and hiccup assumes he will end up in Helheim, which isn't terrible but it is separate from his family and tribe forever. or maybe he worried about being sent to Niflheim some times given how negatively his tribe speaks of him all the time before toothless

Davey leading Jack out of the underworld because he loves him, so much, too much, and he has to look back because a world where Jack isn’t with him isn’t one he ever wants (Davey trying to lead the strike without Jack, unwilling to speak without Jack’s words)

Jack following, content with nothing but the trail Davey leads (literally the entire movie)

Like has anyone written this and if so gimme gimme. The parallels are insane and I'm yearning for it.

KRUL NATION WE'RE SO BACK! WE'RE ABSOLUTELY WINNING.

I'm so glad she's finally getting more of a spotlight in the current story cause I was such a fan of her involvement in the earlier part of the series but then it felt like she just kinda dropped off for a bit until the flashbacks of her and Asura. BUT NOW SHES GOT HER SPOTLIGHT BACK!!!

Also can we talk about Guren and Mahiru's attitudes towards dying right now? Like Guren really doesn't seem to mind the idea at all, and pretty much considers himself to be dead already. But Mahiru's over here with her whole "if you die, it's over for me!". So like, I dunno, given their current circumstances I think their different attitudes towards death put them in a really tricky spot.

I really wanna see what happens in the next chapter with all this though. I really can't tell if I want Guren to die or not. Like for story progression I feel like he might have to stay since he makes for a really great obstacle for Mika and Yuu, (and ESPECIALLY with their similar circumstances) but at the same time I feel like it'd be really interesting for him to die cause that would REALLY change the playing field.

But like lastly what the FUCK is going on with Ferid bro. I knew he was hiding stuff but UH. this is a LOT.

I can't stop thinking about dragons. I want to learn about every dragon ever. I want to learn about dragons from every myth and every culture. When I was little I thought FULLY that dragons were real because I read this Dragonology book and it had me CONVINCED. I wanted to BE a dragon. That book has vanished but I need to read it so bad. I need to find a good source to learn about dragons so bad. I need to find things to read about dragons. Both in the, like, fictional sense of things and a book about actual dragon mythology. This is rotting my brain. When I was little I read Eragon so much that the book has fallen apart in every sense of the word. I read Fablehaven over and over again. I read Seraphina because my best friend gifted it to me. I may reread it IDK. I read everything I could get my hands on. I. Love. Dragons.
