.. happier .. pairing. kim jungwoo x female reader genre. angst, smut pov. second person (you, yours, yourself, etc.) synopsis. you took away the only thing that made him happy, so he gave you no choice but to give all of you to him. wc. 3.6k cw. enemy/ex-friend!jungwoo, assistant manager!jungwoo, dom!jungwoo, manager!reader, sub!reader tw. mentions alcohol consumption, mentions sexual harassment, woo is very unhinged and delusional, choking, gaslighting, cursing, noncon (don’t like, don’t read), p in v, unprotected sex (wrap your meat fellas), clit play, woo’s disrespectful, hickeys, biting, dacryphilia, crying (so much crying), tit slapping, fingering, degradation, name calling (‘baby’, ‘boss’, ‘babe’), hair pulling, breeding, implied kidnapping a/n. yeah, this is late, my bad 🤭 but i did FINALLY get it posted, sorry for making y’all wait. but i didn't expect to write jungwoo like this?? yet here we all are side note: the jaehyun fic is coming, everything i’ve been writing for it is pure crap so i have to keep trashing it and starting over, but i’ll get there eventually :,)
He made one mistake – ONE – and it paved the way for you to jump right into his spot as manager of the company. He was now only the assistant manager to you. You would now boss him around. You were above him, you stole his position that he’s worked so hard to earn, you ruined his goddamn life.
Sure, his mistake was a rather big one. Showing up to the office drunk… He should’ve known he would be punished profusely for such a disturbance, but who were you to steal his place in the company when he made one mistake?? He’s the best worker that place has ever seen, how could they abandon him like that without even considering how he’d feel? And you. How could you accept that position so gratefully when you knew he was more deserving?
You’ve been trying to steal his job away from him for ages now, haven’t you?
He hated the fact that you were so happy in your new managerial role; you were way too cocky about bossing him around and telling him what to do. How could he even look at you as anything more than he previously did when he was the one who trained you when you first showed up to be working alongside him? I mean, of course, you’d be happy, it was a good job. An amazing job, really. But why didn’t you stop to consider how he felt? You didn’t even care.
“Done,” he snorted, throwing a stack of papers onto your desk with a loud thud.
You sighed deeply, gazing up into his narrowed eyes with a softness in yours, “Thank you, Woo. I really appreciate all you’ve been doing to help me around here. It’s hard work. I don’t know how you were able to do it all the time without making it seem like you were struggling; it always looked so easy when you were doing it.”
“Mhm,” he grunted, slamming the door to your office, which was once his, on his way out. It shook the picture frames hanging from the wall the door was attached to. You sighed again, closing your eyes and attempting to think about how close the two of you were in the distant past. Before you got this job offer, you were like two peas in a pod, then he came into the office one day, drunk off his ass with not a single thing keeping him from rubbing up on the girls to make them uncomfortable or cursing out the rest of his colleagues. You wanted to reject the proposal, but you felt he was in need of a punishment for that. I mean, you were even a victim of his unusually unpleasant touches. You tried to stop him from making a fool of himself, knowing how unlike him he was when he was under the influence of alcohol, but you couldn’t get him out of the office before the boss showed up and kicked him out. He was lucky he wasn’t fired and being demoted was the only thing that happened to him.
You could tell he held it against you. Just by the way he spoke to you anymore, he was clearly bitter about the turn of events. However, he needs to understand that if it weren’t you taking that role as the company manager, it would be another person that works at the office who might be far less skilled at their job than you. He couldn’t just go unpunished because you rejected the offer of a promotion. He’d be completely demoted, possibly moved out of all managerial roles if you had denied them. But he just couldn’t see that, and every time you tried to explain that to him behind closed doors in the safety of your home, he would seem to get even pissier at you, deeming every word that escaped your mouth a lie.
You gave up trying, eventually. You can easily assume he noticed because he only got worse with you. He stopped doing his job, treating you with the most disrespect you’ve ever fallen victim to in your life, forcing you to cover for him as he leaves the office to run silly errands, leaving you doing his job in more ways than one. It was all a pity party with him, really. So when it got to the point where you were going home crying every night, parking your car on the side of the road because your vision was too blurred to see the path in front of you clearly, you had no choice but to confront him about it. Of course, it wasn’t the easiest thing for you to do. I mean, you hated confrontation more than anything, but it was necessary.
You have such dread running through your tense little body as you reach your hand up toward Jungwoo’s front door, softly pounding your knuckles against the wood. You hoped, pleaded with every fiber of your being that he wouldn’t be home, that he would be out somewhere doing something and he wouldn’t be there to answer the door. But he was. He opened the door in not even a minute, staring at you with a blank expression as he snapped, “Yes? Can I help you, boss?”
You always told him not to call you that and you’d always correct him whenever he did, but today was not the day for you to be sweet to him and treat him in a friendly manner. “Can I come in? I have to talk to you and you weren’t in the office yesterday for us to talk then.”
“If I wasn’t in the office, why would you tell the head department that I was?” he chuckled, leaning down slightly so his breath was felt on your lips. Had he expected this to intimidate you? Intimidation? You figured he’d pull out some of his special games, but you wouldn’t be intimidated. He seems to forget how tough you are.
“Would you like me to correct my mistake? Because I gladly will. I simply thought you’d be able to appreciate all the work I’ve been doing on your behalf just to cover your ass while you’re out and about doing god knows what when you should be sitting at your chair in your office actually working,” you snuffed, which made him instantly retract away from you, eyes narrowing.
He sighed and stepped to the side of the walkway, motioning with his hand for you to enter. You did just that and walked through the opened door, looking around the entrance with an air of cockiness, “I feel like I’ve never been here before, you’ve really changed this place around.”
“What do you want?” he refused an answer to your comment, asking a question of his own.
“Shall we sit?” you turned to him with an innocent smile on your gorgeous face. To say Jungwoo hasn’t had quite a thing for you would’ve been the biggest lie. He previously had feelings for you, that was until you fucked him over like you had. Now, he can’t understand how he feels about you anymore. You were still so beautiful in his eyes, but cruel all the same.
He led you to a place in the living room, allowing you to sit on a couch, him next to you, leaning back against the arm of the chair so he could face you, snickering, “What’s this about? I’m kinda in the middle of something, could we hurry this along?”
“I will drag it on further if you keep getting snippy with me,” you snorted, rolling your eyes before sucking in a deep breath and continuing as soon as he sat up straight, eyes slightly widening. He’s never heard you raise your voice like he just had, even when you two were close friends. It was odd hearing the loud side of you for the first time in his life. “You need to stop leaving the office, Jungwoo. I’m not gonna keep covering for you, I just can’t anymore. If they find out I was covering for you like that, I’ll be in trouble alongside you.”
“You act as if I’d care if you get in trouble,” he scoffed, leaning toward you with a sly smirk, “I hope you get in trouble.”
“And you need to stop with the disrespect, I’m tired of leaving work crying over something you said to me. I miss you, Woo. I miss you as a friend,” you sighed deeply, inhaling the scent of the perfume that he always wore. That scent always drove you crazy.
“Then quit,” he shrugged nonchalantly as if he had no care about how hurt you were feeling right now.
“Jungwoo,” you nearly teared up at the thought of losing him forever, just because of a job that he practically gave up the moment he walked into those doors drunk. “Please, I don’t wanna lose you.”
“You already lost me, baby,” he purred, palm resting on your jaw as his thumb caressed your reddening cheek, “I hope you understand, you took my happiness away, so I’ll get it back by taking yours in turn.”
“How did I take your happiness?” you sniffled, voice shaky, “You showed up drunk and expected to come to work the next day like normal.”
“You didn’t have to take my job,” he growled, hand slipping down around your throat to gently squeeze.
You gasped, reaching up to attempt to pry his grip off of your neck, “J-Jungwoo, wh-what are you do-doing?!”
“You wanted to come here and lecture me about treating you better, but you’ve been the one who’s treating me like absolute shit? You’ve been so cocky since you were promoted, rubbing your ‘boss’ title in my face like my job wasn’t my entire fucking life. How am I supposed to treat you with respect when I don’t respect you anymore in the slightest?” he glared, upper lip twitching out of agitation, his grasp on your neck was tightening with every passing moment. You struggled to get out of his grip, but he was too strong, a lot stronger than you thought he’d be.
“Yo-you know I didn’t me-mean it t-that way,” you sobbed, tears rolling down your cheeks as fear sprung through you. Is he gonna kill me? was the only thing keeping your brain from shattering into pieces, letting yourself give into the temptation of losing every breath to his rough hold.
He finally let you go, pushing you back against the couch to collide his lips with you, his own body falling on top of yours. As you let out a large breath of unreleased air into his mouth, you realized the situation you had gotten yourself into now. His hand was still around your throat, but he wasn’t squeezing it anymore. His other hand was pinning your wrists above your head so you couldn’t fight him off, legs parting your own as his body deeply pressed against yours, that enticing scent of his was consuming you. You felt like he was eating you whole, taking everything from you with just a simple kiss. His tongue wasn’t gentle with yours, roughly exploring the entirety of your mouth as he grinded against your hips.
He soon pulled away from the kiss, squeezing your neck tightly again so any noises you made would be incomprehensible. He looked down at the way your bodies were rubbing against each other, he tucked his bottom lip between his teeth, gazing into your glossy eyes, pressing a quick kiss onto your lips before whispering, “Is this disrespectful, boss?”
You nodded, but you were unable to speak, only gasping for relief at the tightness of your airway.
He laughed almost maniacally, connecting your lips before he could speak anymore, digging himself further. But as soon as his lips met yours, something new and disgusting snapped inside him. Could he really be doing this right now? This wasn’t him… but he was thinking about going farther, even without your permission to do so… He just wanted to have you, take you.
He begged his inner self to stop, his mind going blank at the thought of being inside you, so much so that it was hard for him to stop when he already had your thin leggings down by your knees, panties swiped to the side, his fingers rubbing circles around your sensitive bud, juices leaking from your clenching hole. Your nails clawed at the skin of his wrists, pleading for him to let you go. But how could he let you go when both your bodies were craving this? He could tell by how wet you seemed to be that you were loving this.
He pulled away from your swollen lips to trail kisses down your neck, humming against your skin, “Gonna make you show up to work covered in the marks of your subordinate.”
“N-no, plea-please stop it. You don’t ha-have to do th-this,” you cried, anxiety filling you at the thought of what he was planning on doing to you next. Surely the Jungwoo you’ve known for years now wouldn’t go any farther than this, right? Of course, this was horrendously disgusting and you’d make sure he would never live this down, he’d be punished accordingly for this. As much as you could, you’d make him pay for such a simple mistake, just as he had paid for his disorderly conduct in the office.
His teeth dug into your skin, lips latching around the marks inflicted on your perfect flesh to redden the skin even further. You couldn’t stop the tears from falling already, and he hadn’t even done anything to you yet.
He trailed his free hand down your body, then slipped it into his own pants to pull his hardened cock out, precum already dripping from the tip. The moment you felt him glide his dick along the walls of your dampened cunt, you started squirming around even more, fearful sounds escaping your parted lips. He chuckled against your skin, biting into the delicate flesh as hard as he could, causing a loud, pained scream to come from your adorable form, body tensing and pausing your movements to sob harder, chest heaving up and down from paranoia.
“Woo, please…” you whimpered, desperately trying to think of all the possibilities of escaping his grasp you had right now. Although, it seemed like you had none. What were you gonna do? He was way stronger than you and you had nowhere to run even if you had made it out from underneath him. This was his house, his neighborhood, his area. He knew this place like the back of his hand and you’d only ever been here once before. There was no way he wouldn’t be able to catch up to you if you took off running since you were dumb enough to order an Uber to bring you here instead of waiting until your car was out of the shop to drive yourself. “Th-this isn’t the Woo I know and… and love…”
“Love?” he repeated, looking down into your soft eyes that were swollen by how much you’ve cried for him, your lips were just as swollen and red from his excessive kissing – he would know, his were, too – the beautiful, shameful marks beginning to appear all over the canvas your neck offered him, even the tears running down your burning hot cheeks was a beauty to him. “You love me?” he couldn’t help but break out into laughter after a couple of seconds of analyzing your tiny figure under him. You were just trying to get away from him, huh? “You think I’m gonna buy that? It doesn’t seem like you love me.”
“Woo, it doesn’t have to seem like I love you, because I know I do. Please, believe me,” you whined, voice so shaky and unbearably inaudible that you could tell it wasn’t passing through his thick skull because of the situation you were in. Who could love him in a moment like this? “I… I know th-this probably isn’t the best scenario to be telling you this in, but please… just… believe me…”
He laughed again, this time it almost sounded more sinister than the last, leaning closer to your face, noses brushing together, every inhale was just a recycled breath from him, “Well, shouldn’t you love this then? It’s only rational, right? If you love someone, you should give everything to them.”
“N-no, Woo, I-I don’t be-believe in that!” you exclaimed, finally finding your voice as you saw his hands fumbling with something before feeling him tug your panties over your ass and down with your leggings. “I-I don’t want this!”
“I guess we’re not meant to be if we have different values, my love,” he shrugged, his cock pressing inside you right after his last spoken word. You squealed, head falling back as your jaw tightened, nails digging into his shoulders, back arching in an attempt to get away from the ruthless and brutal thrusting of his hips, not allowing you time to even adjust to his size before bottoming out inside you repeatedly.
“Ju-Jungwoo,” you whimpered, unintentionally feeling yourself lock your legs around his waist, mouth gaping as soft moans flew from it. You weren’t enjoying this, not a single bit. At least, that’s what you’d tell yourself, and him, if given the chance.
“Feels good, doesn’t it?” he smirked, gripping your hair tightly to pull your head up, eyes snapping open to meet his cocky stare, “My dick feel good in your undeserving pussy?”
“N-no,” you shook your head vigorously, trying to control your body from reacting as it was, but it was impossible to deny the fact that you were enjoying the way he felt fucking you like this when your hips were jerking upward in an attempt to activate more friction between your bodies.
He was savoring every moment of this. Seeing your pretty face wince every time he fucked you a little too deep, watching your body unintentionally convulse each time he pushed inside you as your orgasm neared, shaking your head whenever a moan slipped out of your tightly pursed lips because you always liked being stubborn and continued to deny the pleasure you were feeling.
“You’re sick,” you scoffed, eyes rolling back as he moved his lips to your neck, leaving more and more marks along the skin, covering your entire neck in purple and red. “You’re so fucking sick, Jungwoo.”
“Call me boss,” he growled into your ear, biting at your earlobe.
“Bu-but-” you didn’t get a chance to finish speaking before he smacked your boob roughly, a weak whimper coming from you.
“I will always be the fucking boss of you, no matter what your title says. Do you understand? Now, call me boss.”
“I-I understand, b-boss,” you cried, hands pushing against his chest as his hips seemed to speed up at your words. He grunted lowly against the skin behind your ear, feeling his cock twitching inside of you as that knot in the pit of your own stomach began to grow more and more with every inch he stuffed inside of you repeatedly.
“God, gonna cum. Gonna fill you up so good, babe,” he groaned, grip in your hair pulling your head back so he could bite along your collarbone, and slowly made his way to your jawline, more moans and groans falling from his lips against your skin.
You wanted to tell him to pull out, not to cum inside you, but you couldn’t manage out anything you were proud of, so you stayed wordless, cries and whimpers filling the air of the room as your legs shook around him. His thrusts got sloppy and his bites became more empathetic, hips stilling as hot strands of creamy liquid shot out inside you, leaking out around his cock and dripping down onto the couch underneath you. You felt your own cum leak out after his, mind going blank as you practically screamed his name, arms wrapping around his neck, fingers running through his hair to keep him close to you, shaking violently under him. It took a good while for your orgasm to pass, and by the time it had, Jungwoo was pulling out of you, getting himself cleaned up before worrying about your dripping cunt.
He chuckled, leaning down to rub his fingers along the cum seeping from your gaping hole, causing sensitive noises to slip from you, legs twitching involuntarily, “Such a pretty concoction we’ve created. You look good filled with my cum, don’t you think?”
You didn’t say anything, wordlessly nodding, too afraid of what he’d do if you failed to comply with his every need.
“I think I’ll keep you here from now on, how does that sound?” he hummed, finger slipping into your messy pussy. You gasped, clinging onto his sweat-coated shirt as you let out a string of whimpers. “I’ll keep you here, locked in my house to fulfill my every desire. I’ll use you however I deem fit, doesn’t that sound incredible?”
“N-no, ple-please,” you begged, even though you knew you had no say in the matter. You were puddy in his greedy, narcissistic hands. You had nowhere to go, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. He was sick, twisted. He would get what he wanted from you either way, no matter what you would say or do, he’d always get his way.
“You know you’d love it, having my cock buried inside your pathetic, stretched-out cunt every day from dawn to dusk,” he hummed, bringing his lips back onto yours before you could reply, knowing what your answer would be anyway. You were too stubborn to admit you’d love that, he knows you would love everything he’d do to you. And if you don’t, oh well, he’ll make sure you wind up loving it in the end.

billy’s working his usual afternoon shift at hawkins community pool, but your craving something special… so you let him know that the “vending machine” needs a “refill”.
Tumblr media
…………………………………………………….
“hey babe”
billy looked down from the lifeguard chair and saw you standing below him. he pulled off his sunglasses to admire your body. “i uh…”, you said, closing your legs together slightly, “the vending machine is empty… i think it needs a refill…”. billy smirked as he fidgeted with his plastic whistle in his hand. “yeah?”, he said, knowing that the vending machine wasn’t the only thing that needed to be “filled”.
you nodded back at him, lightly nibbling your bottom lip afterwards. you squeezed your thighs together, one foot in front of the other, and twirled a bit of your hair between your fingers. “ten minutes”, billy said, chewing on his whistle afterwards, “be there”. you smiled as you walked back to your pool chair, making sure to sway your hips as you did so.
billy took one last puff of his cigarette. “jesus christ, i’m hard”, he whispered to himself, his cock twitching.
                     …………………………….
ten minutes goes by, and as soon as it ended, you made your way to the storage room to help “refill the vending machine”. when billy saw you walking over there, he rushed over to you, trying not to make it obvious. as you stepped in the room, billy caught up right behind you. he could practically smell your arousal, and you could sense his.
billy closed and locked the door behind him. he grabbed your waist and pressed you against him, kissing you harshly as he walked you backwards. you moaned into his mouth over and over as his hands slithered over your hips, sides, chest, neck, ass, basically everywhere. you stumbled backwards and loudly thudded against the wall. you tried to turn yourself around and face towards him, only to be slammed forward against the cold brick wall.
“stay.”, billy spat, pressing you against the wall even harder. you squealed in pleasure, eager for him to boss you around more. that earned you a slap to the ass. you arched your back and pressed your ass towards him, rubbing against his hips. you could feel that he was already hard through your bikini.
“i’m gonna fuck you standing”, billy growled into your ear, sending shivers down your spine. he nibbled your ear and kissed your neck. he ran his hands down your hips and over your stomach, slipping his thumb through your bikini strap. he then began kissing down your back until he got down on his knees.
“turn around” billy ordered. you turned around, your back leaning against the wall. his face was hovering in front of your clit, that was yet to be all over his face. “billy, you don’t have time to eat me”, you said, blushing, “what if we get caught?”. “you’re just saying that because you want me to fuck you”, billy teased, fumbling with the side strings of your bikini thong. you huffed with embarrassment, the blonde grinning up at you.
billy bit at one of the side straps of your bikini thong, tugging at it with his teeth. he used one of his free hands to pull your thong down the rest of the way. “hold still”, billy muttered against your clit, “and don’t make too much noise”.
billy sucked at your bare clit, making a loud slurp sound. “you’re telling me” you teased with a breathy voice. billy slapped your ass and tugged it harshly, making you giggle. “god, do you shut up?”, billy growled, “even with my face all the way down here…”. he mashed his face back onto your clit, brushing his nose against the sensitive bud. you threw your head back and smiled, biting your lip and letting out a soft moan.
your legs began to flex and squeeze together. billy noticed and held your knees in place. you squeezed and tugged at his blonde curls, billy letting out a growl as you did so. your juices were beginning to drip down onto his tongue, your needy clit begging for more.
“you gonna be a good girl for me?” billy muffled against your cunt, “you gonna squirt all over my face while i eat you?”. you moaned louder as he began to slurp harder. “fuck- yes~ BILLY!~”. you were moments away from cumming, your clit twitching and throbbing. “do it”, billy growled before slapping your ass. his fingers curled inside you, throwing you over the edge.
clear and milky juices poured out of you and all over billy’s face. his face was dripping, and so were his fingers. “woah, you came so hard”, billy purred, “you want it that bad, huh?”. you nodded desperately as he slurped the last bit of juices out of you, your knees wanting to buckle together.
“turn around”, billy said, standing up, “tits against the wall”. you did so, the cold wall against your breasts making you seethe. “we might as well get this outta the way”. billy pulled at one of the loose strings on your bikini top, letting it slide off your shoulders. you winced again as your hardened nipples made contact with the wall.
you let out a subtle moan as you felt billy’s hands grip one of your breasts. he started massaging it in circular motions. “see”, billy crooned into your ear, “not so bad, is it?”. his hands then trailed down to your hips, gently squeezing your thighs. he kissed your shoulder before pulling down his shorts.
“i’m gonna fuck you right here”, billy groaned, “right fucking now”. you arched your back and pressed your ass towards him. he smiled. “i’m so fucking ready, and i think you are too”. “yes, billy”, you whined, “please fuck me”. “god, i love hearing that”.
billy snaked one arm over your shoulder and held your head. he kept his face close to your ear as he poked his cock against your entrance. you bit your lip and let out a small breath, your feet squirming below you. billy’s breath hitched as his tip went inside you. he slid in the rest of the way until he was balls deep.
“fuck”, billy grumbled, “still so tight after your orgasm”. your toes clenched as you moaned, still shocked at the contact. he smirked and slowly began pumping in and out of you. his breath brushed against your ear as he grunted.
“such a naughty girl, making me horny during my shift”. those words made you moan more repetitively, the coil in your stomach tightening.
billy loved hearing your moans pour out of you. just hearing you was making him grow harder. he was a solid 8 inches, which was the perfect length for you. it wasn’t too much, but enough to reach your cervix. he still managed to leave you in a shaking mess afterwards.
your cunt began gushing with wetness. “don’t you dare let go”, billy growled, “i’m not done with you”. billy began to thrust harder and faster than before. his breaths and moans became louder and more repetitive, and so did your squeals.
billy snaked one of his hands down your stomach and stopped at your clit. you tried to inch yourself forward to create friction against his fingers. “please, billy”, you moaned, “touch it”. “awww, i didn’t even have to make you beg”, billy purred after leaving a small bruise on your neck, “i guess i’ll be nice to you”.
billy worked his two fingers at your clit, making you moan louder. he smiled wider as he felt you clench. he kept rubbing and continued to pound into you, your mind beginning to go fuzzy. your moans were nearly uncontrollable, and you didn’t fully realize how loud you were.
“shhh”, billy whispered, prideful that he was the reason you were being loud, “you wouldn’t wanna get caught, would you?”. he took one of his free hands and cupped it over your mouth. feeling your breath against his hand made his hard throb.
billy’s grunts began to sound more like whimpers, meaning he was close. you were too. with each thrust, it felt like the next one would throw you over the edge. despite the short few minutes you guys had, you still wanted it to last, so you didn’t let go.
“fuck, you feel so good”, billy grunted, saliva nearly trailing out of his mouth. one of your free hands flew to his ass and pulled him towards you, implying that you wanted him to thrust harder. he did so, your eyes beginning to cross as he hit your g-spot over and over again. billy’s hand slipped down from your mouth and around the front of your throat.
billy could feel how hard you were holding back your moans. you felt dizzy as you held your breath in to keep yourself from moaning too loud. “let go”, billy crooned, “let everyone know how good you feel”. his hand left your neck and slapped your ass, making you squeal out.
billy’s tongue hung out of his mouth, and so did yours. his moans sounded more and more desperate, as you were now filling the room with your screams. “cum for me”, billy grunted, a breathy whimper escaping his mouth, “you’ve taken it so well”. he said the last part with a bit more breath in his voice. his thrusts fell more sloppy as his hips twitched. you felt billy’s cock twitch inside you, meaning he was deathly close.
suddenly, your clit twitched. that was it. your insides squeezed violently over his cock, pulsing over and over. you squirted onto him as you orgasmed, the sound of you spraying causing you to look back. your mouth was lolled open as your mind felt hazy.
seconds later, billy made one last thrust before his juices shot inside you. his final, desperate moan gave you butterflies throughout your body. he bit down on your shoulder as he usually did as he came. you bit your lip and grinned, endorsed in his warmth.
after several moments of getting lost in lust, billy pulled out of you (still keeping his hands gently gripped on your sides). your groaned as your legs shook, your hole feeling stretched and full. “you love that, don’t you?”, billy whispered sweetly, turning you around and rubbing your waist. you nodded, leaning into his chest. billy chuckled under his breath, “such a needy girl”. you grinned at the nickname, lifting your head up and kissing him sweetly.
“oh shit”, billy said, looking at the small clock on the wall, “did we just fuck my shift away?”. “stop it”, you scoffed before slapping his shoulder playfully. “i’m serious!”, billy laughed, taking a moment to adore your smile. you looked back up at him with the same intentions. “why don’t you meet me out at the car”, billy said, trying to convince you to walk after what (or who) you just did, “and we can relax at your place. wha’dya say?”.
“mhmmm…” you breathed weakly. billy chuckled once again before kissing the top of your head. he then slipped on his red shorts, placed his ray bands on his face and lit a cigarette before opening the door. “oh yeah, and try to hide the marks. it’s a bit obvious with that bikini”. the door closed behind him as he paraded outside.
you shook your head and rolled your eyes. he was such an asshole, but he was your asshole.

Who's Boss? (One shot)
Summary : Thomas Shelby, your boss is angry with you for not submitting your work on time. He threatens to fire you when you plead you'd do anything to keep this job. Smut ensues.
Tumblr media
Words : 1855
Warning : mature content, extreme sexual act, smut, domination
Pairing : Tommy X Reader (M/F)
[Note : No plot actually. No beating around the bush. Straight to business ;) ]
Enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------
“What’s the matter? And no excuses please”, Tommy said, with his brows furrowed. His thick Birmingham accent increasing the authority in his voice, which you found both terrifying and sensual.
“I’m sorry sir! I won’t repeat this mistake. I was out of town for some days as you already know and you rescheduled the date so suddenly that I didn’t get time to finish the work”, you said, looking down at the ground, your hands crossed behind you.
“So now you’re blaming it on me eh?”, Tommy asked, annoyance in his voice.
“No sir I didn’t mean to…..”
Your boss slammed his hand on the table with a loud thud which made you flinch.
“You have the audacity to blame your boss for your late work? You want me to fire you Miss (Y/N)?”
“No sir please!”, you pleaded, almost tearing up.
“Please sir I need this job. I’d do anything you say to keep this job please.”
“Anything I say”, Tommy asked, a naughty glimmer in his eyes.
You swallowed a gulp. “Ye…..yes sir. Anything you say”.
“Okay then, take off your shirt”, Tommy said, leaning back on his chair.
“Si…sir?” You choked on your breath.
“Anything I say?”, he reminded you, squinting his eyes.
Taking a deep breath, you slowly open your shirt buttons. You fumbled with it a bit, but managed to open it and dropped it on the floor.
“That too”, he pointed at your skirt.
You opened the zipper of your skirt and slid it down your legs. There you were, standing half naked in front of your boss. Your cheeks were flushing red and you instinctively tried to hide your body as much as you can with your hands.
Tommy took his time to look at you from head to toe, as if mapping all the places he would like to touch.
“Fold your clothes and give it to me”, he spoke finally, letting out a deep breath. You timidly picked up your clothes from the floor, folded them and handed it over to him. You could understand the changing rhythm of his breathing. Seeing you in that black lingerie was doing things to him which he couldn’t hide.
It’s not that you’ve never fantasized him bending you over his desk and owning you completely. But those were just fantasies. You never expected them to be real because so far he has only maintained a strict professional relationship with you.
“Bend over my desk”.
You were snapped out of your thoughts by his deep voice.
“Did he just read my mind?!”, you spoke out loud then immediately covered your mouth with your hands realising the words you’ve just let out.
Too bad, he heard you.
“You have always imagined this haven’t you eh, you dirty little girl?”, he said with a smirk, watching you make your way to his table and bend over it.
He kept your folded clothes inside his drawer and locked it. “You’ll get them only when I’m satisfied with you”, he growled. He then stood up from his chair and walked round the table. He positioned him behind you. Time seemed to have stopped as you were anticipating his touch on your soft skin, knowing full well it’s not going to be gentle.
You left out a gasp when you felt his warm hands massaging your butt cheeks. He slowly slid your panties down to your ankle and let out a sigh.
“What a sight!”, he exclaimed, groping and fondling your soft bottom cheeks. You could feel your arousal in between your legs and you closed your eyes when you suddenly felt a hard slap on your left cheek. You let out a soft whimper.
“You like that eh? You dirty little slut”, he slapped your right cheek even harder making your skin vibrate under his palm.
“Will you ever submit your works late again?”
“No…..no sir”, you managed to mouth between whimpers.
“And will you ever blame your boss for your late work again, eh?”
“No sir”. You let out a loud moan as you felt the hardest hit on your skin.
Tommy’s spanks got harder and harder and by that time your loud moans echoed in the room, in perfect sync with his rough slaps.
He leaned over your back.
“You tend to forget who’s boss here eh? Let me remind you”, he whispered in your ear followed by the rhythmic rubbing of his hard bulge against your wet mound. It made you shiver and you let out a sensual moan, biting your lips.
“Get up, put your panties back on and go sit on the chair”, he commanded, his eyes darkened with lust.
You nodded and obeyed his orders, your cheeks flushing red.
Taking off his tie, he blindfolded you tightly with it.
“Arms on your lap”.
You heard him open his drawer and take something out, the jiggle sounded like handcuffs. Your whole body shuddered at the cold touch of the handcuffs on your wrists. You bit your lips, deep in thought. You wanted to see how far he can go.
You heard him open another drawer. He pulled the hem of your underwear and put the object inside your panties. You let out a soft moan feeling the touch of the cold object on your dripping cunt. It was when he activated the vibration of the object with a remote, you realised what it was.
Tommy kept on increasing the vibration slowly until it was uncontrollable for you and you started trembling in the chair, letting out loud moans. You threw your head back, trying to free your hands, the handcuffs bruising your soft flesh. You felt so light headed, being taken to a different world of pleasure that you didn’t hear Tommy open his zipper and take off his pants.
Taking advantage of your open mouth, he hastily grabbed your neck and pulled you down to his hard cock, gagging you, while he sat on the table in front of you. You frantically gasped for air when the tip of his hard member hit the back of your throat.
Tommy kept bobbing your head up and down violently, letting out loud moans and shuddering as your tongue played with his thick shaft.
While you gagged on his member, the vibrator kept stimulating your wet folds, the sensation making you wobbly in your legs.
You felt his cock throb and twitch inside you. With a loud growl he filled your mouth with his warm come, you swallowed every bit of it.
Tommy pulled himself out of your mouth. Pushing your chair back, he knelt on his knees and opened your panties in a quick motion. He pulled you by your hips and without warning crashed his lips onto your wet pussy which made your whole body tremble. You were already aroused beyond limit and now you started feeling dizzy, your finish line being very near.
Tommy played with your folds with such expertise, swirling, licking and sucking the right places, it gave you sensations that you never knew existed. No man ever made you feel this way. You felt like you were floating, your head resting on the chair, your loud cries creating an ethereal atmosphere. It felt otherworldly. Even Tommy enjoyed making you tremble with his touch, being very much aware of the effect he had on you.
Tommy swirled circles on your clit with his tongue and massaged your folds with his thumb. He slid one finger inside your pussy first and eventually slid a second one, pumping in and out. You couldn’t hold it anymore.
Tommy felt your walls clench around his digits. “Yes baby girl come all over my hand”, he hissed.
You exploded with pleasure as your orgasm washed over you, covering his fingers with your sweet juices.
“I’m not done with you yet”. He licked off your fluid from his fingers. Then he trailed a long lick from your belly button up to your breast fold. With a quick motion he unhooked your bra and sent it flying across the room.
He cupped your breasts with his hands, roughly fondling it. Then he swirled his tongue over one of your buds, as hard as a pebble, while he played with the other using his thumb. You let out soft whimpers, the touch of his warm tongue on your skin made electric currents run through your body. You could feel the pressure between your legs build up again.
“Stand up”, he grumbled in his deep voice.
You complied, with your eyes still tied and your hands locked.
Tommy aggressively held you by your neck and pushed you down on his table.
You supported yourself on your elbows, waiting for his next move. He lined himself behind you, teasing your wet entrance with his rock hard cock.
“Please…..sir”, you whimpered, asking for more.
“Please what? You want this so bad don’t you, you little whore”. He left a light slap on your ass.
Without warning he thrust into you real hard making you gasp for air. He started slow, but gradually increased his pace, hitting your sweet spot.
The table rocked under you as his violent thrusts rocked your world, the melody of your synchronized moans blending in the air, creating an atmosphere of complete euphoria.
Never in your life have you orgasmed more than once, no man has ever had the same stamina as this man. You felt such a state of bliss in his company, you almost enjoyed being his prisoner.
He grabbed you by your hair, pulling you up to his chest, he nibbled your earlobe, then licked the soft skin of your neck.
“Does your pretty little head now remembers who’s boss here?”, he whispered in your ear, making you shiver.
“Yes.....sir”, you managed to mouth, between pants.
“Good girl! Now come for me baby”, he hissed, increasing his pace even more.
You let out loud open mouth moans as you felt your walls clench around his throbbing cock. He kept moving in and out until he felt you come all over him. He pulled out of you immediately after your orgasm washed you over. He pumped his wet cock a few times and then with a loud groan he emptied himself on you, painting your soft ass cheeks in shades of white with his warm semen.
He collapsed into you, leaving a trail of kissed on your back. He released you off your captivity and handed back your neatly folded clothes, along with some tissues to clean yourself.
“So, are you satisfied with me sir?”, you asked shyly, as you put on your last piece of cloth.
“What do you think?”, Tommy asked curiously, a cigarette hanging from his lips.
“I think I satisfied you enough for you to give me my clothes back”.
“You think so? What if I told you I’m not done yet”, he said, taking a puff of his cigarette.
“Wear higher heels tomorrow. And no panties”, he added, a smirk appearing on his handsome face.
“Yes sir, ‘anything' you say”. You couldn’t help but bite your lips as you made your way out of his office.

Office Lunch

A/N: requested by the lovely 🐌 anon, who wanted some reverse comfort & fluff for big q! the story takes place during schlatt’s presidency, and also serves as a bit of a character study. i hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
The quiet ticking of the clock felt absolutely deafening in the barren silence of the office. You fidgeted your feet, your thumbs nervously tapping at the throw pillow at your side. Despite how plush and comfortable the couch cushions were beneath your thighs, they felt as stiff as rock digging into your skin. Chewing on the inside of your cheek, you sat up straight, your eyes glued to the clock as you stared down the taunting, ticking hands.
Were presidential meetings always this long? You were no professional, but employees still had a lunch break, right?
Sighing, you tore your eyes away from the clock on the walls, sweeping your gaze across the office. A tall window decorated the wall opposite from the looming mahogany door, the warm, midday sun washing the room with light. The bookshelf tucked away in the corner of the room was adorned with shelves upon shelves of files, alongside a framed photo of the Manberg flag. On the floor sat a deep crimson rug, the golden tassels brushing along the soles of your shoes.
It was a beautiful office, really. But it looked so much more dull when it was as empty as it was.
Your gaze flickered down to the container sitting on the coffee table in front of you, your lips curling into the smallest of frowns. So much for giving him a surpris—
All of a sudden, the office door swung open, slamming into the opposite wall with a loud thud. Jolting, you whipped your head up, your eyes landing on the huffing figure standing in the doorway. You watched as Quackity stomped across the room to his desk, his gaze stormy as his grip tightened around the already crumpled stack of files in his hand. He was practically seething as he dropped the stack of papers onto his desk, cursing loudly under his breath.
“What an ass,” he muttered, irritation lacing his every word. Reaching up, he tugged at his navy tie, the tight fabric unravelling around his neck. “Always keeping me late because he can't be bothered to show up on time.” His scowl deepened. “That lazy piece of sh—”
“Alex?”
Quackity froze at the sound of your voice, whirling around to face you with wide eyes, his lips parted in shock. “[Y/N]?” he whispered.
You lifted your hand in a shy wave, offering him a sheepish smile. “Hi.”
His lips split into a wide grin as he strode over to you, crouching down next to you. “What are you doing here?” he breathed, his bright eyes scanning yours. “Don't get me wrong, I'm always happy to see your beautiful face, but you're here.” He gestured vaguely to the space around him, his eyebrows knitted together. “In my office.”
Heat crept across your face at his words, something fuzzy and warm blossoming in the crevice of your chest. Bobbing your head, you reached across the coffee table to hold up the container you had brought with you, a glimmer of hope flitting through your eyes. “Yeah! I, um, wanted to surprise you today, so I brought you lunch!”
Quackity blinked at you once. Twice. Then, he opened his mouth, an enamoured expression creeping onto his face. “[Y/N],” he said, gentle and soft, “have I ever told you how incredible you are?”
Your heart flipped in your chest, joy sparking in your chest like a firework as you shot him a cheeky grin, winking slyly. "You could stand to mention it more often."
He laughed at that, getting to his feet before settling into the space next to you on the couch, his side warm against yours. Leaning over, he rested his head against your shoulder, letting out a long sigh of relief.
“God,” he sighed, the tightness trickling out from his body as he melted against you, “I can't even begin to describe how happy I am you're here.” He glanced up at you curiously. “What did you make?”
You grinned, your fingers curling around the container lid. “I figured you would want something easy to hold that was still tasty, so...” The lid tugged open with a pop, revealing an array of sandwiches stacked next to one another, stuffed full with vegetables and spreads. “Ta-da!”
Quackity gasped, sitting upright to gape at the lunch you had made, elation shooting across his face. “Are you an angel?” he blurted, his mouth practically watering at the sight. “You must be a fucking angel, I swear.”
A giggle bubbled up in your throat, warmth fluttering in the pit of your stomach. “Last time I checked,” you hummed, gently nudging his shoulder with yours, “I was just the love of your life, but angel works, too.”
Quackity's eyes gleamed fondly, but you didn't miss the way his fingers twitched in anticipation. Tilting the container toward him, you smiled, amusement seeping into your voice. “Yes, you can eat.”
His eyes lit up like the sun, and you could only laugh as a “thank you” tumbled from his lips before he was grabbing a sandwich. As his teeth sank in for the first bite, his eyes fluttered shut and he made a pleased noise. In an instant, he was absolutely devouring the sandwich, his cheeks puffed with delight.
“This,” he said between bites, “is so good.” Swallowing the final bite, he reached over for a second, his tongue darting out to swipe at his lips. “I don't think I would mind eating this for the rest of my life.”
You flashed him a grin. “I’ll keep that in mind.” Leaning back against the soft cushions, you lifted a sandwich to your mouth, savouring the burst of flavour across your tongue as you took a bite. “By the way,” you said before you took another bite, casting a curious glance in Quackity’s direction, “how’s your day been so far? I missed you.”
In an instant, Quackity’s eyes went dark, the smile falling from his face as he let out a long, drawn out sigh. “Schlatt,” he said.
You swallowed, raising your brows at him. “Schlatt?” you repeated.
He deadpanned. “Is the fucking worst.”
You winced at the exhausted look that flitted across his face, setting your sandwich down on the container lid. “So, I take it your morning went badly.”
The groan that escaped his lips was absolutely gut-wrenching, frustration soaking into his every movement as he got to his feet, pacing around the room. “Like you wouldn’t believe. He cancelled two meetings—the first because he was hungover, and the second because he wanted to drink. Then,” he said, whirling on his feet with a glower, “when he did actually schedule a meeting, he was late.” He threw his hands up into the air. “Like, what the hell?”
Your heart churned in your chest at the sight of his irritated face, the bitterness in his tone winding rising higher and higher, filling the air like a dam that was about to burst. “Plus, he still hasn’t read the report I submitted last week, and also he interrupted me six times today.” He held up six fingers toward you, a deep scowl etched into his features. “Six! That’s seven times too many.”
You had half the mind to laugh at his words, but the sorrow you felt outweighed the flicker of amusement that shot through you. “And did I tell you that he made me make him coffee this morning?” He groaned again, his hands tightening into fists at his side as he collapsed back onto the couch, draping his arm over his eyes. “Sometimes,” he grumbled, “I feel less like a vice president and more like an unpaid intern.”
You shuffled closer to him on the couch, reaching your hand up to gently stroke his back. “I’m sorry that’s happening, baby,” your murmured, rubbing a soft, soothing circle around the base of his neck with your thumb. “Schlatt sounds like an awful boss.”
He whipped around to face you, a grimace stretched taught across his face. “He is!” he cried. “He’s such a fucking... dick! There are so many things I could say.” He lifted a hand, counting off on his fingers. “He constantly misses meetings, he’s always goofing off, and he’s always fucking drunk. It’s like he doesn’t even care about this country.” He sighed, dragging his hand over his face. “Like, why run for president if you’re not going to at least try to make a difference?”
Suddenly, he went quiet, his hand freezing around his chin. You watched as a cloudy fog passed over his gaze, his voice dropping to a low whisper. “God, am I making a difference?”
Your breath hitched in your throat as he turned to look at you, his heart hanging heavy in his lungs as you watched the gears turn in his head. “What have I done?” he whispered, his brows sloping downward. “I’m just helping push Schlatt’s agenda, whatever that is.”
He dropped his head, resting his elbows on his knees as he hung his face in his hands. “Why did I even support him in the election in the first place?” His voice cracked, and you felt your own heart cleave at the sound. “Seriously, just what the hell am I doing?”
A long, thick silence fell over the two of you, Quackity raised his head, turning to face you with a cloudy, broken gaze. “Maybe I’m just as bad as he is.”
The words were out of your mouth in an instant, a wave of protectiveness crashing over you and filling every inch of your being. “Don’t say that.”
He gazed at you sadly, regret flickering across his face. “But, aren’t I—”
“No,” you said, firmer this time, “you’re not.” When Quackity’s eyes went wide at your sudden shift in tone, your gaze softened, adding gently, “I swear.”
Pulling your hand away from his back, you let your eyes scan his doubtful expression, your lips pressed into a thin line. “People like having power, Alex. Physical power, bargaining power, political power—” You shook your head with a sigh, disappointment tugging at the back of your mind. “It can be obsessive, and a lot of the time, that power’s misused.” You sent him a knowing look, brows raised. “You would know.”
His lips twitched the tiniest bit, and he bobbed his head, almost as if there were a set of weights on his shoulders. “Yeah, I really fucking do.”
“But,” you hummed, a smile tugging at your lips, “it’s not always misused.” You leaned against him, your soft side pressing into his. “Look at you—you’re trying your hardest to make this country a better place, and that’s amazing.”
You felt him shake next to you, the fabric of his suit trembling against you. “But,” he said quietly, sounding so very unlike the bold, confident man you loved, “I’ve hardly been able to do anything.” He squeezed his eyes shut, sucking in a weary, ragged breath. “Everything I try to do just gets shut down, or pushed aside, or it’s not even looked at.”
You reached over, slipping your hand in his and intertwining your fingers together. “That doesn’t demean your hard work and effort, though,” you said softly. “I’ve watched you work overtime so many days in a row, and you’re always spending late nights at the office to pick up Schlatt’s slack.”
Your lips curled into a smile, genuine and fond. “You’re wonderful, Alex, and Schlatt is lucky to have you. You’re a wonderful vice president, and an ever better person.” Your eyes curved into soft, crescent moons. “Don’t put yourself down like that, okay?”
Quackity stared at you for a moment longer, then lowered his gaze to your connected hands, the light in his eyes flickering. “Even if you’re right,” he said quietly, “Schlatt’s still the one in power. He’s the one with the most control.”
You scooted a fraction closer to him, your knees brushing against his. “The thing about power is that one person hardly ever gets to keep it to themselves forever.” You reached your other hand up, pressing your palm to his cheek, his skin warm against yours. “Schlatt may be president now, but a new term will come soon, and he’ll be voted out, I’m sure of it. And when that happens, you guys will be able to turn a new leaf.”
You brushed your thumb over his cheekbone. “I believe in you.”
Another silence fell over you, but this one was different—it wasn’t tense or heavy like the last, weighing down on you like an anchor. Instead, a certain brightened bloomed across the room, and you watched with kind eyes as Quackity lifted his head, his eyes meeting yours with a serious expression.
“I love you.”
Your heart leapt into your throat, heat exploding across your face as your chest shook with a hazy whirlwind of emotion. “Wh—huh?” you spluttered, your face growing hotter by the second. “I-I love you too, but where did that come from?”
His hand squeezed tightly around yours, an ardent spark of affection springing inside him. “My heart,” he said honestly.
You couldn’t stop the smile from splitting across your lips, wide and bright. You opened your mouth to respond when, without warning, he was tugging you forward until you were pressed flush against his chest. Wrapping his arms around your waist in a tight embrace, he dipped his head down next to your ear and murmured, “Thank you, [Y/N].”
You blinked for a moment, then melted against him, resting your head on his shoulder as you snaked your arms up and around his backside. “For you, anything.”
For a long moment, the two of you simply held each other, nestled closely within each other’s arms. You let your eyelids fall shut as you brushed your nose against the side of his neck, inhaling his lingering scent of linen and lemon.
After a few minutes, you felt his breath tickle your cheek as he opened his mouth. “Hey, what time is it?”
You opened your eyes, your gaze darting to the clock on the wall behind him and squinting. “Um, quarter past one.”
Quackity’s eyes shot open to the size of saucers, and in a flash, he was scrambling off the couch, stumbling across his office to his desk. “Oh shit, I’m late for my next meeting!”
Your eyes widened as he quickly picked up a new stack of papers from his desk, grabbing a pen from his cup holder before slipping it behind his ear. While he balanced the mess of office supplies in his arms, striding back over to you, a flurry of swords tumbled from his mouth. “The sandwiches were fantastic, everything you said means the world to me, you’re beautiful, and I love you so fucking much.”
Your heart swelled in your chest, love rushing through your veins as you struggled to process his words. “I—”
All of a sudden, he leaned over the coffee table and pressed his lips to yours in a sweet kiss, pulling away just as quickly as he had arrived. “See you when I get home?” he said, his cheeks flushed a rosy pink.
Your head spun with dizzying waves of adoration, and you felt your own face grow warm with affection as you nodded hazily, offering him a wave. “See you then.”
The grin he flashed you made your stomach soar with butterflies, and in a whirlwind of papers, he was rushing out the door, his undone tie still hanging around his neck. The office door slammed shut behind him, and just like that, you were alone again, accompanied only by the ticking of the clock.
You let out a breath and pressed a shaky hand to your chest, feeling your heart thump against your rib cage. Sitting up, your eyes dropped down to your half-eaten sandwich still sitting on the coffee table. An image of Quackity flashed across your mind, and you couldn’t help but feel your lungs blossom with something that you were absolutely certain was love.
With warm sunlight caressing the side of your face, you picked up your sandwich and took another bite, a thoughtful smile gracing your lips.
Maybe you should bring him lunch tomorrow, too.

ateez reacts: in a serious arguement with s/o
💌 This is: requested
Hongjoong:
When you met Hongjoong, it was the happiest day of your life. Everytime you get sad, your brain takes a trip down memory lane and reminds you of the day when you met him. Of course it brings a smile on your face. However, a happy memory can no longer bring happiness to you.
Arguement after arguement, nothing seems to be coming to peace between you and Hongjoong. One heated night, tensions arose once more between the two of you, arguing how Hongjoong so desperately wants a child but you say you still weren’t ready.
“We’ve been married for three fucking years! If only I knew our marriage is going into a shithole, I shouldn’t have married you or should have opted for a second marriage!” Hongjoong slams his fist onto the wooden table that broke and slid down on the floor. Tears brimmed your eyes at the impact and weight of his words. You felt guilty and to blame for.
“Y-Y/N- I didn’t mean that..” Hongjoong spoke, his features softening as he tries to approach you. But you looked up to him, your visions blurry at the tears ooling in your eyes.
“No it’s okay. It’s really okay. It looks like you’ve made up your mind and why should I get in the way? I hope you’re happy with the choice you’ve made.” You smiled at him, despite the pain and emotional stress you’ve pent up for weeks, you let it all out by crying yourself to sleep, And when the morning comes, you quietly slip out of the shared apartment and Hongjoong’s life.
Seonghwa:
Days spent with Seonghwa always felt like walking into a flowery road that would lead you two into happiness. And the road is endless, you were sure that he’s the one for you. But you spoke too soon.
Now, throwing plates are being thrown at one another, dodging those plates as they hit on the walls and picture frames. As Seonghwa throws a plate, it narrowly misses you and smashes into the picture frame that you took on your first date. And suddenly, the world made you two stop and stare and take in everything that happened for the past few minutes. Neither of you two could speak, let alone look at each other in the eye. What happened, happened. And now the silence spoke for the two of you.
Yunho:
Your parents were against you dating Yunho. Why? They know for a fact that relationships between an idol and non idol partner were uncommon and would never work due to the fact that the idol’s schedules are hectic and almost has no room for them to breathe into their personal lives. But you still wanted to be with Yunho. At the same time, Yunho’s parents were aginst him dating you as well. Why? To put it simply, you are non idol. They want someone for him who walks down the runways or sings in sold out arenas, but you didn’t fit in any category.
And lately, it seemed to you that Yunho was slowly giving in to his parents’ wishes. The photos he uploads on his Instagram stories includes different women every night, all of them are not like you. It pains you that this silent arguement kept on going between you two. And one day, while on a walk with Yunho, you stopped walking. You were somehow hoping that he would stop from his tracks and look back at you, if you were catching up to. But to see him continue walking without even going back to look at you is already enough to know where you two are heading.
Yeosang:
Yeosang coming into your life was the best thing that has ever happened to your existence up to day. Though you two have different worlds, you solely depended your life and happiness to him. And the world seemed to be in favor of you, after a year of dating, he got down on one knee and married you in front of hundreds of people. You were the happiest, nothing in this world could ever make you sad, as long as Yeosang’s beside you.
But what if your world’s the one that decides to hurt you? Weeks after the marriage, Yeosang had a complete change of heart. He stopped coming home to you and was always spotted with a certain someone whenever he is outside. Whenever you confronted to him about it, he tells you not to worry. But you knew it was a lie and without knowing, you unconsciously raised your hand and swung it across his face.
Was it enough to make him feel the pain you feel? Maybe not. But was worth it? Yes. You hated yourself for being not good enough, but most importantly, you hated yourself for depending your happines to a person.
San:
They say “nothing lasts forever, nothing stays the same”, but you love to disagree with that saying. What about the elderly couples who found love and comfort in each other and are growing old together? What about those couples who, after so many lifetimes, still find each other in different life times?
Being young and naive has its cons, but you believe in the idea of love and all its forms. And that is what brought yout to believe that San is the one for you. Talking about your plans together, what you two would want to be in the long run, how many children he wants to have. You are young and naive but believe in the idea of love and all its forms.
But when everything comes spiraling down, a false rumour spreading against you and San chooses to believe whoever spreaded the rumour and never listened to any word you say made you think about the saying. You never confronted San anymore as you let the relationship that you so love and dear fall apart before you.
Mingi:
When you got into a relationship with Mingi, you never suspected anything. Nothing was suspiscious and out of the place at all. But after a year of dating did it only made you realize why you were somehow suspiscious: not once did you two fight each other. You couldn’t believe how a year of dating Mingi and is the most healthiest relationship you have ever been. This is exactly what you wanted that others want too, and you were lucky and thankful at the same time.
But you never got along with his friends, and so did your friends with him too. Whenever they would go out and drink, they would often talk about you and often make up lies about you. This went unnoticed to you, how toxic his friend group. Until one day, Mingi confronted you with all the things his friends have said about you. You argued back by saying how could he believe them instead of listening to what you have to say. THe night went on you two cursing at each other until it was inevitable to fix whatever you two had build together.
Wooyoung:
After being married to Wooyoung, you thought everything would fall into place. However, three months into the marriage, not one day did he initiate any itimacy with you. It was always the “good morningy/n” and “i’m going to work now”. He was never like that before when you two were dating, you wondered what caused him to be so cold towards you.
“When can we expect a grandchild?” Your mother in law asks.
“Having a child is too early. Y/N and I are still enjoying each other’s company, that’s what matters, mother.” Wooyoung smoothly answers for you. You felt small in the eyes of your in laws, unable to tell them the truth.
“Do you really think its too soon for us to have a child?” You ask as you cleaned the dishes once his parents left.
“Having a child is too much right now. My parents even want you to stop working.”
And that’s when your soft facade cracked. First, Wooyoung has been so cold towards you, second, his family belittled you earlier and now they want to take away the career you’ve worked hard to get. You couldn’t help but let out a dramatic, long sigh and ranted everything that you’ve been feeling.
“And do you think I have it nicely for me? That you think everything is going well for me? Maybe marrying you was a mistake.”
Jongho:
Jongho was never almost always home. He was always outside, impressing his bosses by taking them out to restaurants, treating them to lavish parties and women while you were left at home, having to take care of your eleventh month baby and worried sick if he’ll ever come home. As a good wife, you’ve made everything for him - cook his food, iron his home and work clothes, kept the side of this bed warm and always makes sure he still has hot water to use in the shower. But then, those things that you do for him tires you out now, and you no longer continue to do them for him.
When he complains how he comes home with no food and a cold shower to use, you kept yourself quiet and moved around like a ghost. Jongho walks up to you and takes a hold on the back of your head, motioning you to turn around to him.
“If I ask you something, you should respond. I’m your husband.” He spat, but you looked at him with hate and pushed yourself off his hold.
“Husband? You’re always and never home, if only your son could talk right now, he would always ask for you. It’s always me who runs around this house! And I got tired of waiting for you! You don’t how it feels, because you’re too busy kissing other people’s asses!”
Jongho’s pushes you away from him, maybe a little too agrressive when you landed on the floor with a loud thud. That night, Jongho slept on the couch, and you on the little bedding inside the baby room. Maybe a divorce doesn’t sound so bad after all.

A Little Clumsy
Written by: spencerreidsmiles
Hello hello, my lovelies! I have once again been absolutely grinding at school (and now work too woohoo) so I have had like zero motivation to write but I finally finished one of my anon requests!
They requested prompts 7, 28, and 42 off the General list on this here prompt list! Those will be bolded throughout the story.
Short summary - It’s the first day of work at the BAU for the reader but when their clumsiness gets the better of them, Spencer Reid is there to save the day.
Trigger Warnings - blood (like the whole thing is about blood so if blood is a trigger for you, seriously do not read this one), minor injury, strong language, embarrassment
Word Count - 1386
MASTERLIST // WATTPAD VERSION
Sometimes you were clumsy. Okay, perhaps that was a bit of an understatement. You were more often than not clumsy. So when you began your first day at the BAU walking right into a wall and collapsing onto your ass, thus spilling coffee all over yourself, you weren’t surprised, to say the least. Frustrated, yes, but surprised, no.
However, that sentiment wasn’t exactly shared by everyone, it appeared. In your dizzy haze, you felt a thud as someone knelt down next to you.
“Is that blood?” the stranger asked.
You touched your nose with your fingers, red decorating your fingertips. Whoever was talking to you was right, there was blood. Your white shirt, now a light shade of brown-ish beige, was sticky against your chest. Blood and coffee all over your new clothes on your first day of work? How could it go any better?
To be honest, you weren’t really concerned about the blood right now. This whole scenario had happened enough times that this was essentially a regular occurrence for you. Instead, you were more concerned about the fact that this was the impression you were going to be making on all your colleagues. What were you supposed to do, just walk into the meeting room absolutely drenched in the last bit of your latte and blood and just act normal and introduce yourself? Yeah, because nothing screamed “qualified special agent” like a klutz banging their head into a literal wall. Surely whoever hired you was regretting their decision now. If you were them, you would.
You had to save your pride somehow. The least you could do would be to find a bathroom and try to clean yourself up as much as possible before meeting your coworkers.
But first, you had to deal with whoever had watched you slam your head into the wall.
“Yes, but that doesn’t matter right now, what does matter is-” you said, sighing.
“You are literally bleeding,” he stated again.
You pushed your arms back, propping you up and allowing you the opportunity to take a good look at him.
Even in your dazed state, you could tell that he was attractive. He was tall, first of all. He towered over you, his brown curls fell over his face as stared at you, clearly concerned. And his eyes. Jesus, his eyes. You could melt into them.
No. No, stop it. You thought to yourself. This was not the time to be crushing on whoever the hell literally watched you walk into a wall. There were more important things at hand unfortunately.
“Well thank you, Captain Obvious,” you said bitingly. The pain was beginning to hit you a bit more. You hadn’t thought you’d broken your nose...but the steady swelling was beginning to change your mind.
“It’s Doctor, actually,” he responded with complete seriousness as he stared even more intently at your nose.
“Sorry?”
His eyes flickered from your nose, meeting your gaze.
“It’s Doctor. Doctor Spencer Reid.”
Shit. You knew that name. Dr. Reid. One of your new coworkers, of course. As if this day couldn’t get any worse.
“Doctor Obvious then. Wouldn’t want you to lose your credentials.” Dr. Reid didn’t seem to be affected at all by your little joke. You shot him a weak grin, which he did not return. Great. Everything was going great. Clearly.
“What’s your name again?” he asked.
“Dr. Reid, are you flirting with me?” you teased. As if anyone could think you look pretty in this mess of brown and red.
“No! No, of course not. I just want to know so when I submit an injury report, I can have a name to put down.” An injury report? Oh hell no. You were already going to be known as the newbie who walked into a wall and maybe broke their nose, you didn’t need to be known as the newbie who walked into a wall, possibly broke their nose, AND had to have their new coworker fill out an injury report on their first day.
“Pssh, they don’t need to know. It’s just a little blood and a little bruise. No big deal. I’m completely fine.”
You waved your hand about, swatting him off. It was nothing, just a bad nosebleed basically. A bad nosebleed with a side of a headache that was really starting to ramp up and throb incessantly. Gosh, you really just slammed right into that wall, didn’t you?
Nonetheless, you persisted. You popped up onto your feet as Dr. Reid stood up as well with a horrified look on his face.
“You hit your head pretty hard, I’m not sure that’s the best idea-” Dr. Reid stammered.
He was right, again. Standing up this fast was a bit too much, it appeared. Almost immediately, you completely lost all your balance. Your head spun as you fell, of course, right into Dr. Reid’s arms, effectively burying your nose right into his sweater. Apparently the day could get worse.
As you just stayed there, both of you completely frozen in place and completely unaware as to what to do next, you took a deep breath.
“Okay, so maybe you were right,” you admitted.
For a second that felt more like a minute at least, it was dead silent. Well, if you hadn’t made a bad impression on Dr. Reid yet, surely this was the final straw. You had calculated an about 100% chance of Dr. Reid running off to tell your boss that they had truly made the worst mistake in hiring you. The ideal first day, really.
Slowly, Dr. Reid propped you back on your feet. You were still a bit woozy and your nose was throbbing fairly bad, so you clutched onto him for a second to settle yourself down. His arms wrapped around your back, holding you tight.
It was only after you pulled yourself away that you realized just how much of a mess you had made out of Dr. Reid’s sweater. Right where you had buried your face was now a giant splotch of red from your nose.
“Shit, I’m sorry,” you apologized. You tried wiping off whatever schmutz you could off his clothes with your own sleeves, but you only smeared it further and further in. God, you were just an absolute mess, weren’t you? Good grief.
But instead of glaring at you, you saw the kindest eyes crinkling with laughter. Like the sunlight breaking through clouds, you heard Dr. Reid’s laugh ring out loud and clear. The sound itself warmed your heart God, if he was handsome before, then what was he now? Whatever he was, it was safe enough to say, you were absolutely head over-fucking-heels for your savior.
“I’ll be honest, I was waiting for a reason to get rid of this sweater. So thank you for giving me a reason to.” He glanced down at the splotch before looking back at your worried face. “Don’t feel bad, things like this happen.”
“You’ve had someone run into a wall and bleed onto your shirt before?” you asked with a heavy emphasis on your incredulity.
His cheeks and ears brightened a light pink shade. “Well not exactly, but we’re all a little clumsy sometimes.”
You checked your watch. Almost nine, aka almost time for you to meet the team and officially start your first day of work. Starting a new job just like this. Wow. You were so screwed.
Either you had the world’s worst poker face or Dr. Reid was just really good at his job, but immediately after watching you check your watch, his shyness faded away and his voice softened as he spoke.
“Hey, how about you go home and get cleaned up and I’ll tell the team you’ll be a little late.”
“Are you sure? What if they ask about…” You gestured around vaguely at his shirt.
He shrugged. “I’ll just tell them you made a strong first impression.”
You let out a relieved laugh. “That’s one way to put it,” you said. “Thank you.”
As you began to walk to the elevator, you thought about Dr. Reid and his kindness and eventually came to the conclusion that perhaps this first day wasn’t as bad as you thought it was. That he was right, everyone was a little clumsy sometimes. And that was okay.

Whac-A-Headstone
Pairing: Game Owner Jungkook x Employee Reader
Genre: Fluff & Humour
 ↳ (10k) BTS Village AU
Summary: Working at the arcade can be downright miserable and it doesn't help that your boss isn't, well, the brightest lightbulb in the world. Add to this his extremely dramatic and prideful ways, you're left wondering why you even choose to work at the place anymore. You fortunately receive the answer in the form of Richman V one day, who has been eyeing your boss's pride and joy for quite some time.
Warnings: pg13 rating, some major spoilers for BTS Run ep. 120-121 (watch them before reading this), everyone in this fic literally has no chill (WHAT!?)
Tumblr media
A pair of two small feet come to a stop.
Across from the road are multiple posters and signs, from large cardboard cutouts to cliche and cheesy slogans scribbled on paper. There’s a string of colourful lights hanging from above, ranging from a neon yellow to a dark blue. It’s extremely noisy, but the boy’s feet tread closer, round eyes enamoured from the over the top appearance.
The door is cautiously pushed open, the sound of his feet slowly shuffling against rough carpet echoing.
The boy’s eyes widen, peering around in puzzlement.
The shop appears nowhere near what its display offers. The walls are painted with a hue of dull beige, and there’s no intriguing lights with huge signs compelling him forward. Instead, there’s a large bookcase that he barely acknowledges, alongside a set of bright machines that remind him of its exterior.
As if in a trance, his attention is drawn away instantly and he doesn’t hesitate to stumble across one of the machines, eagerly eyeing it down. After struggling to sit on one of the high stools, an innocent smile spreads across his lips once he eyes the multiple colourful controls within his reach. He presses a button in curiosity, but the screen in front of him doesn’t change.
His smile drops into a pout, and he attempts again, only to be met with the same result. He then presses multiple buttons, frustration only building up at the blank screen.
A shadow lurks behind him.
“Hey kid.” He jolts, spinning around instantly. “You have to pay to play games here.”
The boy stares like he can’t comprehend those words, his eyes big and naive. You cross your arms, a scowl lining your lips and expression void of any amusement.
His shoulders deflate and the corners of his mouth downturn with disappointment. You continue to stare at him, gaze not wavering.
A long exasperated sigh leaves your lips and your eyes quickly survey the empty arcade around you. Taking a step forward, you rummage through the pockets of your uniform pants and out emerges a shining coin that has the boy’s eyes lighting up.
The coin slots into the machine and you turn around to face him, features still impassive.
“You owe me for this one.” You mumble underneath your breath, but he simply retaliates with a gigantic smile on his face.
The game immediately turns on as the boy begins playing, eyes eagerly sweeping across the bright screen as his fingers hurriedly tap against the multiple buttons. You watch from afar, the corner of your mouth lifting into an amused half-smile.
The sound of loud footsteps echos through the walls.
An annoyed exhale leaves your lips and it isn’t long before the back door is being ripped open, a young man emerging within seconds. You’re unfortunately painfully aware of who he is and it’s probably high time to clarify who you exactly work for.
Jeon Jungkook ‒ or simply your boss, if you actually took the liberty to address him as one ‒ is the person in charge of your employment. You’ve been working for him longer than you imagine and as you eye him from the corner of your eye, you can only contemplate how you’ve managed to even stick around for so long.
He pushes the big glasses on the rim of his nose back with his fingers, his eyes wide and practically boiling with vigor. He’s dressed in his usual attire, a button up shirt with a subdued green print on it and tight fitted black trousers. There’s a jarring amount of gel in his hair that only seems to increase with time and if anything, he looks more like some kind of mafia boss running an organization rather than the owner of an arcade.
His gaze is targeted on you, barely acknowledging the child that was excitedly playing one of his games and who is now staring between the two of you with wide eyes. You presume the boy is having the same thoughts running through his head that everyone has when they meet Jungkook, and it could be summed up with simply calling him a‒
“Y/N!” He abruptly yells, a muscle in his eye already twitching, “I heard one of the machines being turned on?!”
A nutcase.
You work for an absolute nutcase.
“Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s how arcades work, you know? The machine has to be on for you to play an‒”
“You know what I mean!” Jungkook snaps, waving off your sarcasm.
“Oh.” You say, pointing towards the boy, “The kid wanted to play a game, so he paid for it and now he’s playing it.”
“Actually…” The boy suddenly speaks up, voice quiet and hesitant, “The nice lady paid so I could play.”
His eyes sparkle, like he holds you in high regard. Although he warmly smiles acknowledging your kind deed, your eye twitches and you mentally make a note to never to help out a child in your lifetime ever again.
Turning around, your eyes meet Jungkook’s and he’s fuming.
You internally sigh, already aware of what’s to come.
“Y/N, how could you do such a thing?!” He dramatically says, pressing a hand against his temples, “To take away from the money I could have had….just how? How?!”
“I was bored.” You honestly retort, unfazed in the slightest as you shrug, “And our only customer was a kid, besides‒”
You raise an eyebrow, narrowing your eyes at Jungkook, “Are you losing money or something? Why are you so worried about one kid that I paid for?” A spark resides in your eyes, “Is the business shutting down?”
Jungkook gasps, like you’ve offended his whole entire being. “What?! NO!” He shakes his head, “H-How could you even suggest something like that?!”
He leans against one of the machines, tightly wrapping his arms around it. You roll your eyes, watching him have a semi-crisis over the fact that you suggested his business is going down the drain.
“I’ll never give my business up!” He yells it out like it’s a statement he wants even the neighbors to hear.
“Yeah, yeah, sure thing, boss.” You retort as you slide over an extra lollipop to the kid that you were saving for later. He beams at you and you smile, but then Jungkook complains you aren’t listening to him enough and you let out a sigh, turning around to coax him.
***
After playing a couple of rounds on the machine before it shuts down, the boy bids you both a goodbye and sincere thank you. You tell him not to forget to bring some coins next time with a mumble and his eyes light up, followed by a very cute nod.
Closing the door behind him as he leaves, you spin around with a lengthy sigh. Digging into the pockets of your uniform, you yank out your phone and begin to scroll through the contents with tired eyes. The entire store is empty, save for you and the supposed boss of yours that you presume is lurking around somewhere.
The sound of a loud ding startles you, phone nearly slipping onto the ground. Your eyes are wide and on alert, sweeping around the vacant room.
“Aha! TAKE THIS!” There’s a loud thud that echoes through the room, and your eyes instantly narrow. You tuck away your phone, shuffling your hands in your pockets and nonchalantly walking towards the source of the sound.
Although puzzlement strikes you first, it quickly morphs into amusement as you reach the doorframe. Jungkook stands before the whac-a-mole machine, practically slamming the hammer against the poor plastic mole pieces in an effort to increase his score.
Which is nearing a hundred and fifty by the way, the highest score one can achieve in the game.
Your brows knit together as he keeps striking the popping moles, only for the machine to brightly light up seconds later with large digital letters saying WINNER in red across the board.
“I DID IT!” He suddenly shouts, spinning around and spotting you instantly, “Y/N, I beat my own record!”
You cross your arms, “Congrats.”
There’s a spark of smugness in his expression as he crosses his arms, cockly staring at you, “Looks like my score is officially unbeatable now.”
Although you know it’s practically bait that he’s throwing out, your lips move faster than you can register.
“It’s still beatable.” His irises light up in an instant and you want to curse at yourself for falling into the trap, but the look of challenge in his eyes is enough to spark your own fuel, “I can beat it.”
“Oh, really?” Jungkook questions, offering up the hammer, “Let’s see you try.”
You grab it from his hold without hesitation, gesture for him to turn on the machine. It lights up within seconds and with a deep breath, you brace yourself as much as possible.
The moles pop up within seconds, your eyes darting and flickering all over the platform. The hammer in your hands is soaring, hitting as fast as possible as quickly as possible. At one point, your hands mismatch and you catch an empty one, something that makes Jungkook snort but only increases your competitive streak even more.
Sweat has begun to fester at your temples, but you pay it no mind once the last mole is hit and your eyes are glued to the scoreboard. In giant bulging letters, your score is displayed before you.
5 points away from Jungkook’s score.
You can already hear the cheers of ecstasy leaving his voice, or the daunting smugness leaking from the words that he’s aching to sprout in your direction. But when you turn, there’s this annoying magnified smile plastered onto his face that’s somehow even worse.
You let out a huff and before Jungkook can start running all over the place in excitement like a child, a knock sounds from the door.
You straighten up immediately, raising a brow.
Customers don’t usually knock.
“Were you expecting someone?” You immediately wonder. A groan leaves Jungkook and he mutters underneath his breath, something along the lines of ‘this guy again’.
Dragging himself to the door to answer, your features contort into surprise once it’s yanked open.
A young man stands before you, his arms crossed behind his back and gaze scrutinizing. He’s dressed far too fancy for an arcade, a fine white collared shirt with a black tie and vest that hug his body. His bronze locks are long and perfectly curl at the front, but their rich appearance is muted from his piercing eyes, which at the moment are gawking all around your workplace.
Jungkook is first to speak up, clearly annoyed with the stranger’s prolonged ogling antics.
“Hey!” The stranger immediately turns to him, “Are you going to keep staring at my game room or are you going to say something?”
He stares at Jungkook, completely unfazed and apathetic to his loud exterior. It throws you off for a moment, wondering if there was even someone aside from you that possessed the ability to do so.
His words are sharp and discrete, straight to the point. “I want to buy it.” He tilts to his head slightly to the side, “Have you made up your mind yet?”
Your head snaps in Jungkook’s direction at the inquiry, appallment crossing all over your features. Jungkook looks like he’s ready to explode at any minute, hands balling up into fists.
He mimics the stranger’s tone, gritting the words out, “It’s not for sale.”
“I think there should be enough space to rearrange the front.” The man continues to speak as if he didn’t hear Jungkook, “These will have to be destroyed in order for a counter to be placed.”
He’s examining the machines already, frowning at their appearance and that’s when Jungkook ticks. Pacing forward, he wraps his hand around the stranger’s arm and begins to drag him out, even as he continues to survey the area like a thousand thoughts were running through his mind.
“Okay, now that’s really nice.” Jungkook cheekily says, but you can still hear the lingering anger in his voice, “How about you go redesign the neighbor's place? I hear they have a hairstylist who loves to gossip so it’d be nice for the two of you to chit-chat.”
The posh man looks composed and you’re beginning to question if he was potentially holding onto a facade to not be able to hear Jungkook. It’s not long before he’s politely escorted out the door, with Jungkook practically lunging for the opportunity to shut the door behind him.
He spins around, pressing his back against it as a sigh of relief leaves his lips. You can only stare at him in confusion as silence lingers, eventually breaking it with your own inquiries.
“What just happened?”
Jungkook’s wide eyes snap up, like he had completely forgotten you were in the room with him.
“Oh that,” A strained chuckle leaves him, “He’s been coming around here often, usually in the early mornings when you’re not around.”
He sits down on a chair that’s in front of the cash register, continuing to explain, “That’s Richman V, the guy nearly owns every property here in BTS Village.”
Jungkook continues to meekly laugh, but it only serves to draw out concern from you. “So...what? He wants to buy the arcade?”
“Well, uh,” He sheepishly scratches the back of his neck, “Yeah…”
A deep frown settles on your features as you stare at Jungkook, who’s smile seems to be fading by the moment.
“And like…” You begin, trying to wrap your head around the situation, “What? Are you going to sell it and hand it over or something?”
You’re the one laughing now, staring at him in amusement. Jungkook’s smile is completely gone, his eyes fixated on the ground.
“And what if I just did?”
For a moment, you could have sworn he was joking. But Jungkook’s tone is completely different ‒ voice having dropped a couple of octaves with no hints of humour present.
It only drills in deeper when he lifts his gaze to meet yours, a certain glint of anguish residing in there that you haven’t quite seen before.
You struggle to come up with words, “Y-You can’t be serious…”
“And what if I am?” Jungkook rests his hand against his cheek, leaning against the front counter. A sigh leaves him and your brows contort together, lips pressing together into a firm line.
You scoff, “B-But I would be unemployed....”
Jungkook’s gaze is fixated on the counter as he shrugs, “Then just find another job.”
“It wouldn’t be the same!”
His head snaps up, lips falling agape with the sudden outburst. You immediately avert your eyes, letting out an awkward cough.
In the midst of the silence, you ponder again, “Have you made up your mind then...? To sell it?”
“Sort of.” Jungkook mumbles, gaze drifting to the ground, “The game room hasn’t been doing too well financially and even though Richman V is kind of annoying....I’ve been thinking about his offer.”
Your eyes narrow at him.
His tone sounds like he’s already been defeated without a full fight, giving in without any resistance.
The boss you know would have to be physically dragged out of this arcade, his loud protests probably being capable of deafening those that want to take away his prize possession.
“Wait, just like that?” For once, you’re the one that’s more upset, “You love this place.”
His features twist, “Well yeah, but‒”
“This is coming from you, the same person that tried having a disco day at the arcade to attract customers and forced me to wear a rainbow coloured wig with roller skates because ‘it goes with the flow’ and ‘the entire vibe would be ruined’ if i didn’t!”
Jungkook stares at you wide-eyed and you scoff in disbelief, gaze connecting with the bookcase stationed in the corner of the room, “At one point, we even hauled in that giant thing together when you were convinced that the youngsters are ‘reading too much these days’ and that we’ll lose popularity to a hair salon next door that was giving out free magazines in their waiting room!”
“You seem to remember a lot of the things I’ve done....”
“I’m not done!” You wave a finger at him, ignoring his astonished expression and continuing with your rant, “There was even a time when you used me to distribute flyers and made me shout that ‘there’s no place I would want to work at beside Jeon’s arcade’, which by the way, is pretty much the opposite of how I feel!”
Jungkook lets out a snort at that, to which you direct an angry glare in his direction. Your rambles continue as he fondly watches you, somehow managing to spur up a spark of hope that was diminishing by the minute inside him.
“So you’re telling me that the same person that was responsible for all that is willingly going to give up his arcade?” You plant your hands on your waist, raising a challenging eyebrow at him, “Are you sure you’re my boss?”
“You’re right.” Jungkook honestly confesses, “This place means a lot to the both of us and we can’t let it head down under because some posh guy wants to own it.”
He raises up a fist, looking more determined as ever, “I’m not letting anyone take it from me without a fight.”
You cross your arms, a smirk rising on your lips.
“Now that’s the boss I know.”
Tumblr media
“Jungkook, this is stupid.” You protest, the icy breeze from outside already nipping at your skin. Your boss spins around on his heels, his determination still overflowing.
“How is having some faith stupid?”
“It’s stupid when you drag me out at 7 in the morning without a coat to make a damn wish.” You bite back, barely able to feel your toes as you walk behind him through the village.
“I don’t feel cold.” He proudly announces.
“You’re shivering.” You point out, his chattering teeth and quivering form already being a dead giveaway thanks to his need in retaining his weird get-up out of the arcade.
“Shivering? That’s nonsense, I don’t feel the c-c-cold.” You let out a sigh, unraveling your scarf in the midst of his protests. Instead of handing it to him, you toss it over his head and he whirls around, frowning at you.
“Take it.” You mumble, not noticing him eventually wrapping it around himself as if it was desperate to retain some heat. You walk ahead of him, halting your steps and glancing around confused.
“So where’s this headstone you’ve been obsessing about?”
Jungkook squints, “It should be somewhere her‒OH!”
You whip around, watching Jungkook jog over to a small landmark at the side of the trail. Treading cautiously after him, you notice a structure made up of granite, appearing like a round ball that was placed on a stick.
You tilt your head, “This is the ARMY headstone?”
“It protects the entire village!” Jungkook chides, “Don’t you know that?”
“Yeah, yeah, it protects us and we protect it in return.” You wave away it’s history. Unlike others the stone simply just existed for you, not being as ‘special’ or ‘glorious’ as it was for the other villagers.
“We need to make a wish to save the arcade.” He firmly states, eyeing you for an answer. You let out a sigh, eventually mumbling out the words in the most monotone voice.
“Please save our arcade.” You turn to Jungkook, “There, happy?”
There’s a smug smile on Jungkook’s lips and you scoff, glancing around as he makes his wish. Your eyes roam around the expanses of the village, landing on an individual scurrying around with bright teal hair and dressed in a uniform.
Your eyes instantly light up, “Namjoon!”
He notices you right away, jogging over in an instant.
“Y/N?” He says astonished, “I haven’t seen you around in a while, how have you been?”
“Ah, just the usual.” You shrug, “I’m always at the game room these days.”
A laugh slips from him and you smile, but you don’t notice the gaze Jungkook throws in your direction.
“Find any new auditions recently?”
“Ah no, I’m still trying though.” He professes, “I’ve been saving up in case I actually manage to get one.”
“You’ll find one soon, I’m sure of it.”
Namjoon sheepishly scratches the back of his neck, a dust of pink on his cheeks, “You know...there’s this new movie playing in the theatre….”
He rummages through his pockets, pulling out two tickets. “I’ve heard really good things about it.”
Your eyes spark, reaching out for them, “Oh, that would be so ni‒”
The tickets are instantly snatched away from you, an arm wrapping around your shoulders.
“That does sound lovely!” Jungkook smiles, “Thanks for the tickets RM!”
Namjoon glances between the two of you, “O-Oh…” He meekly laughs, “I-I hope you guys enjoy….”
He takes a step back, waving at you. “Guess I’ll see you around then Y/N....”
You watch his fading back in dismay, barely able to say goodbye to him as he rushes away.
The moment he’s gone, you spin around and glare at Jungkook. “What the hell?! I wanted to go with him!”
“Too late.” Jungkook cheekily smiles, “Now you have me~”
A deep frown settles on your features, “Perfect. Just perfect.” You shake your head, “Not only do I have to see my boss at work, but now I have to go watch a movie with him.”
“I know right?” Jungkook leans forward, “Who is this boss of yours by the way? He sounds like an incredible person.”
“Oh, he’s great ‒ great at being annoying.” You huff as Jungkook laughs at your silly taunt, practically skipping behind you as you return back to the arcade.
In the midst of your banter though, you don’t notice the particular pattern Jungkook’s shoes leave in the soil.
***
Upon returning, you and Jungkook get to work right away.
“What about a slogan?” You suggest, “Something that catches people’s eye and gets stuck in their minds?”
Jungkook places a contemplating finger against his mouth. It’s not long before his fingers are snapping, a bright glint sparking up in his eyes.
“Jeon’s arcade is the best.” His pupils are wide and there’s a giant grin spread on his features, but it clashes with your muted expression.
You raise an eyebrow, “Jeon’s arcade is the best…?”
He snaps his fingers again, shaking his head, “It’s great, I’m telling you. It’ll catch on within days.”
A dreary sigh leaves your lips, “How about something less...prideful?” Your eyes twinkle, “Like come down to Jeon’s arcade for a brand new experience?”
Jungkook scrunches up his nose, “That sounds awful.”
“It’s better than declaring you have the best arcade.” You mumble.
“It is the best arcade!” He pursues his lips, before finally muttering in defeat, “And technically the only one here…”
You’re about to suggest that maybe rearranging things in the game room would help for better promotion, but the lights begin to flicker.
“Wha‒” You’re unable to finish your sentence, the entire room plunging into complete darkness.
“Jungkook?” You question in concern, carefully shuffling your feet around. There’s a slight movement that brushes by your arm, your head spinning instantly.
“I think it’s a power outage.” He confirms, and you can hear the soles of his feet pacing around the room, “Let me see if I can find the backup generator…”
You hear some scrambling and shuffling around, until it’s accompanied by a loud thud and a sharp “ow!”.
“Are you okay?” You ponder, only receiving a dismay groan from him.
“I’m fine, but why is your voice coming from the machines?”
You blink, “Because that’s where I’m standing?”
“What?” Jungkook says in disbelief, “I could have sworn‒”
In an instant, light floods the room. Your eyes are rounded as they finally peer around, noticing Jungkook at the other end of the room with his eyelids screwed shut and holding onto his foot.
His lids flutter open, taken aback with your appearance. A sudden thump resonates against the floorboard.
You and Jungkook can only stare at each other petrified at the sound of feet moving about while both of you remain stationary.
Swallowing down his unease, Jungkook places a finger on his lips, gesturing for you not to let out a peep. He carefully steps forward, keeping the silence in the room intact to peer over at the counter.
A man suddenly pops his head out, a pout resting on his plush lips.
Jungkook staggers back, placing a hand against his racing heart.
“What are you doing here?!”
The man tilts his head to the side, looking down and then dusting himself off. There’s a black beret sitting on his head, a white-collared shirt overlapping with two suspenders that connect to his brown trousers. He continues to pout, eyes glancing around the counter until they stop on a circular object.
“Ah, there it is!” He excitedly whispers, wrapping his fingers around the large magnifying glass. Jungkook’s eye twitches, strutting up and grabbing onto the man’s shoulder.
“Hey! I asked what you’re doing here!”
He frowns, “Are you always this rude to people?”
Jungkook scoffs, but you interject, voice confused.
“Jin?”
His eyes snap up to you, “Oh, hi Y/N.”
“What are you doing here?”
“Investigating.” He immediately says, raising his magnifying glass. He begins walking around the room, a curious look to his eyes. “How long have the two of you been here?”
“Since the power went out.” You answer.
“Fascinating.” He continues his stroll, only faltering when Jungkook pulls at one of his suspenders from behind.
He appears annoyed from the former barely acknowledging him. “Why are you in my arcade trying to investigate, Jin?!”
Jin spins around, smacking his instrument against Jungkook’s head.
“Ow!”
“That’s Detective Jin to you, Mister.” He shakes his head in dismay, “Seriously, where have your manners gone, Kook?”
He glances at Jungkook, “And to answer your prior question, there’s been a recent crime in BTS Village. I’m here to solve it.”
“A crime?” You cross your arms, “What makes you think the arcade has anything to do with it?”
“Well, it’s not so much the arcade that has something to do with it…” He suddenly twirls around, pointing his giant magnifying glass at Jungkook who looks baffled, “But someone that might play a hand in the crime.”
You peer over his shoulder, noticing him narrowing in on Jungkook’s eye as the latter stiffens.
A scoff leaves your lips, “You’re drawing an absurd conclusion.”
“Oh really, Y/N?” He spins around, nearly whipping you in the face with the glass, “Perhaps you were at the crime scene too then?”
He begins scrutinizing you, and you uncomfortably shift from the glass being pointed at your eye this time.
Jungkook huffs, straightening up his clothes. “Don’t you use that magnifying glass to see how big your mouth is half the time?”
Jin raises his head, suddenly feeling offended. A snort leaves you, further fueling his dismay.
“Trying to use a personal connection on a detective now, are we?”
Jungkook plants his hands on his hips, “Well, this detective showed up at my arcade out of nowhere and is interrogating the hell out of me and my employee without any proof.”
Jin smiles, “Proof! Of course!”
He moves at the speed of wind, racing around the game room as you and Jungkook hurriedly trail after him. He stops right at the front, a small shoe rack capturing his interest immediately.
He starts tossing them aside one by one.
“Hey, stop!” Jungkook scrambles to catch them before they land on the ground, “Those are expensive!”
“Timberlands?” Jin questions, eyeing one certain beige pair before tossing it away too, “You need better taste, kid.”
Jungkook practically shoots out his arm in efforts to catch it, but it slips from his grasp and you dive forward, grasping onto it instantly.
“This is ridiculous.” You huff, “Jungkook hasn’t done anything, Jin.”
He hums, rising onto his feet. “Is that so, Y/N? Then how about you explain this?”
Whirling around, he points towards the base of one of Jungkook’s slippers, the same ones he hastily put on when he pushed for you to come with him to the headstone.
You narrow your eyes, not grasping onto his dramatic revelation, “It’s a slipper. You know, people use them for their feet…?”
“Not just any slipper!” Jin waves it in the air, far too close to your face as you grimace, “But evidence! Evidence that was at the crime scene during the time of the crime!”
He pulls out a photograph, showing a footprint that matches up to the shoe, “Someone knocked over and broke our precious ARMY headstone and that person is standing right in front of me!”
Jungkook looks as much at a loss of words as you do. You can’t deny that Jin is wrong, the picture in his hands and the slipper looking similar. The problem is you know what events transpired, having been with Jungkook as he pushed you to make a wish before speaking with Namjoon.
There’s no way he could have done anything.
“I-I…” Jungkook begins.
“You did it! Mystery solved.”
“What?” You snap, stalking up to Jin, “This is prosperous, you need more evidence than just a footprint!”
“Oh? Is that denial I hear?” Jin cheekily questions, cupping his ear and leaning closer to you. Your lips settle into a firm line, teeth gritting.
“Not denial, but facts.” You place a hand against Jungkook’s shoulder, “I was with Jungkook when the footprint was made and I know he’s innocent.”
“A counteract argument!” Jin says in excitement, “Fascinating!”
You let out a groan, “Jungkook is innocent, Jin.”
“I am.” He hurriedly says, hoping it would do something to diminish the detective’s accusations. Jin’s eyes sink down, puzzlement crossing his features.
He keenly eyes you, voice no longer childish, “He’s going to be the prime suspect.”
“He’s innocent.” You press forward again, causing the detective to stare at you for a moment before letting out a long exhale.
“Prime suspect.” Jin announces again, pretending to write down on an imaginary clipboard. His voice morphs, spiking up in volume, “I won’t stop until I catch who it is! Even if it’s you!”
The door is yanked open and Jin struts out, closing it on his way. You let out a relieved sigh, pressing a hand against your temples.
Jungkook being a prime suspect means that Jin doesn’t have the power to turn him in and he’s given you some time to figure out things as well.
He hasn’t taken his suspicions away, but at least he’s given you some leeway.
Jungkook’s desperate eyes connect with yours and you know what you have to do.
Your boss is innocent, and you’re going to prove it.
Tumblr media
A loud bell dings as the door is shoved open, a huff leaving your lips. The shop is close to being semi-busy, a couple of customers planted down in seats and facing elongated decorated mirrors. Save for a couple of heads that turn in your direction, your eyes rake around.
Your brows are furrowed, a crease forming in between them.
A flash of white whizzes by your sight, your hand instantly snapping out and grabbing onto their collar.
A scream leaves the man’s lips, his eyes wide and petrified. They lock immediately onto yours and within seconds he’s slipping away from your hold, trying to make a run for it.
His voice screeches as he runs around the salon with a pair of scissors, “The culprit is here! The culprit is here!”
The showcase sends his customers into a frenzy, voices spiking up into the mayhem and a handful staring at you in horror.
“Hey, Chatterbox!” You scoff, “Come back here!”
You chase after him as he wails, bumping back and forth into his clients with no regard. You eventually grab a hold of his shoulder, a squeal leaving his mouth.
“NO!!” He cries, “Spare me, please!”
He tussles around within your grasp, “Hoseok!”
Abruptly freezing, he stares at you from behind his giant glasses, “Y-Yes?”
“I need to talk to you.” You profess, noticing the way his scissors are still held up in defense, as if they possessed enough of an ability to scare you away.
The sound of shutter snaps your attention away, your head whipping around to see a particular lens pointed towards you. It’s pulled down, a man with keen cat-like eyes and a resting pout examining its contents.
“Picture of the culprit.” His deep voice hums, seemingly satisfied. You tug away the camera from his hold, still keeping a tight grasp on Hoseok before he flies away from you.
“For ARMY sake‒” You scowl, noticing the apparent ‘frightening’ angle of you in the picture. Shoving it back at him, you hiss, “Delete it now, Yoongi.”
His eyes narrow, clearly not enthusiastic with the suggestion. You glare right back at him, suddenly realizing why you don’t swing by Hoseok’s salon or his photography shop often.
With a sigh, Yoongi deletes it and you let go of Hoseok, crossing your arms.
You hold up a finger, “First off, I’m not the culprit, and neither is Jungkook. Let’s get that straight from the start.” Hoseok opens his mouth like he wants to interrupt, “I’ll take questions at the end.”
He closes his mouth, a ㅅ shape taking over. “Second off, I’m here because I want to know who the true culprit is.” You take a step forward, eyeing Hoseok, “And I think the local gossiper can give me the details I want.”
Hoseok’s eyes are wider than before, his hands fumbling around with his scissors. Although he doesn’t care to admit it, you know the village folk feel extremely comfortable around him, willing to spill out all their secrets and desires with no mind over the naive and tender boy’s head.
Even to the point of professing some oh so good reasoning about a particular headstone.
Yoongi tilts his head to the side, clutching onto his camera, “How do we know you’re not trying to cover up your own tracks from the crime?”
Hoseok’s irises sway from you to him, growing only larger in size. You shake your head with a sigh, aware of the latter’s protectiveness towards his childhood friend.
“Because the crime was committed during a power outage….while me and Jungkook were at the arcade…..”
The truth sounded a lot better in your head. You can see Yoongi’s gears turning, his gaze becoming more and more scrutinizing.
To your surprise, he suddenly clears his throat, taking a step back.
“Okay.”
“Okay?”
“What?” He raises a brow, “Do you want me not to trust you?”
“No.” You deadpan, “I just thought you would ask more questions.”
Yoongi shrugs, “You barely pay any attention to the headstone in the first place. Plus Jungkook isn’t the type to break something he’s been making wishes to since being a kid.”
You blink, astonished with the analysis. Yoongi turns to Hoseok, nodding his head as the latter hesitantly begins to speak up.
“T-There’s a rumour…” He whispers, causing the two of you to lean in, “I-I didn’t mean to spread it! I-I just thought it was interesting and my clients like to hear stories of the village while I-I’m cutting their hair‒”
“What is it, Hoseok?” Yoongi wonders as you hum.
His pupils oscillate on the ground, hands fumbling with his scissors.
“Treasure.” He heaves, glancing up at the two of you, “There’s a rumour of the headstone housing treasure.”
Tumblr media
He tilts his head to the right.
The giant magnifying glass in his hand follows the direction, inflating the image of the remains from the headstone by tenfold.
Planting one of his hands on his hips, the other comes forth to stroke his invisible beard. His legs swing, about to turn back to head towards the arcade again.
“Find anything yet?”
A scream escapes him.
Jungkook stands before him, covering his ears as Jin places a hand against his racing heart.
“You frightened me!” Jin scolds, narrowing his eyes, “What are you doing here?!”
Jungkook frowns, “I’m not the culprit.”
“Sure, that’s what they all say!” Jin begins walking down the trail near the headstone as Jungkook closely follows behind.
“So….”
“What?”
“Did you find anything yet?” He questions hopefully, doe eyes twinkling at his elder. The man before him sighs, aiming his glass piece at the trail before him.
He suddenly crouches down, scrutinizing another footprint.
“I’m not telling you anything, Kook.”
“But why!” He practically whines, childishly clinging onto Jin’s arm, “Come on, you’ve known me since I was a kid. Does this look like the face of someone that would break the headstone?”
He gestures to himself as Jin stares, purposely widening his eyes and putting on a pout.
Jin smacks the back of his tool against his head, causing Jungkook to wince. “Stop getting cute with me.”
Jungkook’s eyes sway, “I-I’m not getting cute….”
“Uh-huh.” Jin reminisces, looking around the headstone carefully again. There’s a furrow between his brows as he picks up a chuck of the stone, bringing it up to examine.
“Find anything?”
The stone piece nearly slips from Jin’s fingers as Jungkook peers over his shoulder wide-eyed, appearing more like a naive child than the owner of an arcade.
“Will you stop doing that?!” Jin scolds, growing irritated by the moment with Jungkook’s interventions. The latter pouts, desperation leaking into his irises.
“Then tell me something.” At Jin’s withering gaze, Jungkook pulls out all sorts of cuteness he wouldn’t be caught doing in daylight, “Please.”
Jin rolls his eyes, sight landing right on top of the headstone.
“Blue Village..…”
It’s so incredibly faint, but Jungkook’s ears catch onto it right away.
“What?”
“Blue Village.” Jin says louder this time, his brow twitching. Clearing his throat, he lowers his voice again, “I think someone from Blue Village did it.”
Jungkook’s eyes are instantly enlarging, features contorting into a sudden epiphany.
“Now leave me alone!” Jin says, pushing him away, “I have mysteries to solve!”
Jungkook nods in an instant, a smile curving on his lips at the new piece of information.
Tumblr media
It’s not long before you’re pacing towards the arcade, surprised to see Jungkook already there and buzzing with energy. His eyes light up with your presence, lips moving immediately.
“Treasure!”
“Blue Village!”
You stare at each other for a moment, confused with the notion. “Wait, Blue Village? What about them?”
“Jin says that someone from Blue Village might be responsible.” Jungkook explains, scrunching his brows together, “What do you mean by treasure?”
“Hoseok told me that there’s treasure underneath the headstone.” Your eyes sparkle, “That means someone who needs money probably broke it.”
Jungkook grimaces, “Shoot.”
“What?”
“I need money.” He honestly states. Your features twist up with the fact, acknowledging that your tidbit on the situation wouldn’t work well in his favour.
Shaking the thoughts away, you pursue more information, “Who do you think did it?”
Jungkook doesn’t respond to you, instead he stares outside the arcade’s glass exterior. Puzzled, you turn around to see what he’s staring at, only to see a young boy dressed in a yellow shirt and blue overalls walking by.
He appears to be within his own world, a dreamy smile curving up on his cheeks and a colourful lollipop in his hand. His eyes instantly connect with yours, crinkling up into half moons as he waves over to you and Jungkook.
You return his gesture with a smile, but Jungkook had a sneering look in his stare.
“I hate that guy.” He spits out, drawing out perplexment from you.
“What?” You spin around, pointing to the oblivious boy. “Leader Jimin?”
Jungkook hums and you shake your head, watching an angelic smile take over the boy’s features. “How could you possibly hate him?”
Suddenly, something sparks within his eyes. He turns to you, determination spiking his gaze.
“He’s the one that broke the headstone.”
You let out an exhale of dismay, “He didn’t.”
“He’s from Blue Village.” Jungkook says, as if all the clues finally made sense, “No one know where he came from or what his background is. It makes perfect sense!”
“You’re starting to make up conclusions like Jin now.”
“He could use the money!” Jungkook snaps his fingers, “I heard that he’s been living at the village doctor’s house and pays rent!”
At your look of disbelief, he smirks, “Rent gets expensive, Y/N. Don’t you know that?”
“He’s innocent.” You protest, shaking away his accusations, “He’s a happy person that just wandered into our village one day. He looks like he can’t even hurt a fly!”
At the moment, Jimin lets out a giggle, one of the village kids smiling brightly up at him.
Jungkook narrows his eyes, a hum leaving him.
“Wait, you’re right.”
“See‒?”
Jungkook deadpans, “He’s an idiot.”
“He is not an idiot.” You’re about to list more reasons as to why, but you notice Jimin walking away to ‘lead’ the children behind him, not realizing that one of them has stolen his lollipop and the rest are trying to fight the child for it.
He breaks out in a daze of giggles, happy to be their leader.
Your features scrunch up, “Okay, maybe he is, but‒”
Jungkook smirks like you have no option but to agree with him. Before you have the chance to prove him wrong, there’s a knock outside the arcade door.
A trail of goosebumps spike up on your arm, the look of annoyance on Jungkook’s features telling you enough of who's at the door.
However, this time there’s no intrigue, just a simple big white label possessively planting against the wall.
“I heard you’re not doing so well financially,” Richman V states, “This arcade should be mine soon.”
Jungkook’s jaw drops at the man’s blatant actions, orbs following him around as he continues to plaster his labels all over his precious arcade.
You beat him at the chance to intervene.
“This arcade isn’t yours.” You tug at his sleeve, only for Richman V to spin around and plant a label smack against your forehead.
“Everything I label, I possess.” He interjects, “This arcade will be mine, and so will everything that comes along with it.”
He passes by you and begins sticking on more labels. You huff, ripping off the label and smacking it onto a nearby wall. “I am not going to work for you.”
“Yes, you are.” He states, like it shouldn’t even be in question. “You work in this arcade. The arcade will belong to me. Your services will be mine.” A smile curves on his lips, “You should be happy. I’ll at least be a proficient boss.”
Your eye twitches and Jungkook looks like he wants to interject, but you scramble around, locating a pen.
Taking one of his possessive labels, you scratch out his name and scribble on Jungkook’s before sticking it back onto one of the machines.
“You can’t take this arcade because it doesn’t belong to you.” You huff, grasping his attention. “And I already have a great boss, thank you very much.”
Jungkook blinks wide-eyed as Richman V stares at you, clearly annoyed with your meddling. Turning around, he leans closer, looking at you eye to eye.
“I own every property in BTS Village, and this arcade won’t be an exception.”
Without another word, he leaves, a clutter of his labels all over the walls and machines. Your eyes are sharpened, lips twisted with suppressed fury as you pluck off the flimsy pieces of paper that demand its ownership.
“Who does that guy think he is?” You rant as Jungkook silently watches you, “I mean sure, label all your things. Your toothbrush, your comb, whatever.”
Kneeling down, you narrow your eyes at the one he’s managed to stick behind the counter before tearing it off, “But a place he doesn’t even own? Talk about really wanting to possess stuff.”
“Did you mean it…”
Jungkook’s voice is soft, near quiet.
You turn around, bafflement crossing you. “Well yeah, he seems like kind of a jerk and wanting to possess an arcade after all he has seems like a petty list of things a person would want to own‒”
Jungkook shakes his head, stopping your ramble. “Before that. About me being a great boss….”
You stare at him like a deer in headlights, clearly caught off guard. Freezing in place, you open and close your mouth a couple of times, no words managing to come out.
Instead, a pink hue dusts over your skin.
“Well, I...I-I did say that…” You attempt to begin, “And I...well‒”
“Fascinating.”
Your eyes snap up at the sound of a third voice, noticing Jin leaning behind the counter as he listens into your conversation. Jungkook immediately swivels around, placing a hand against his racing heart.
“Can you call or something the next time you show up?!’ He angrily retorts, only for Jin to completely ignore him and step forward.
He walks straight towards the shoe rack, plucking up the pair of slippers Jungkook wore to the headstone. He drops them with a hum, walking over to the counter again to flip through some paper sheets, something that has Jungkook scrambling forward.
“Why are you looking at my accounts?!”
“It all makes sense now.”
Jin finally speaks up, pointing an accusatory finger towards Jungkook, “YOU DID IT!”
“I’ve already told you that I’m not the culprit!”
“Really?!” Jin challenges, “We found your footprint. You’re the one in need of money and tried to get the treasure underneath the headstone.”
He suddenly glances around, like he was still collecting proof against Jungkook’s case.
His eyes land onto the battered mallet used for Jungkook’s whac-a-mole machine, raising it in the air.
“Aha!” He exclaims, “This is what you broke it with!”
“Actually he broke that mallet because he’s ridiculously competitive and was prepared to win at any cost.” You interject, arms crossed.
“Oh….”
Jungkook deadpans at Jin’s dwindling resolve, an impassive and unimpressed expression spreading over his features.
“You really don’t know what you’re doing, do you?”
“Of course I do!” Jin protests, grabbing a small book from his back pocket. He vigorously flips through the pages, eyes twinkling, “I told you about Blue Village being involved!”
Jungkook’s eyes widen, “Leader Jimin did it!”
You attempt to hush him down, but Jin cocks up a brow, baffled with the suggestion.
“What? That kid?” Jungkook nods, “Nah, he’s an angel. Wouldn’t hurt a fly.”
Offense is written all over Jungkook, “Then what am I?!”
“A greedy game owner!” Jin accuses, only for Jungkook to sigh.
“I’m innocent, Jin.” He desperately glances in your direction, “Just ask Y/N!”
“She’s probably plotting with you!!”
“Excuse me?” You scoff, about to give your two cents on the ridiculousness of the conversation until the sound of small ding resonates through the room.
A pair of two small feet come to a stop, wide eyes staring at the three individuals in front of him.
You recognize him immediately as the boy that came to your game room the day you had barren business.
“Oh, it’s you.”
Jungkook perks up, “The kid who Y/N paid for!”
Jin whips around, narrowing his eyes at Jungkook and prepares to write in his book. “Excoriating money from our employee’s now, are we?”
“I willingly paid for him.” You correct right away, aware that Jin seemed to be on Jungkook’s tail no matter what. Spinning around, you crouch down to view the boy, “What are you doing here?”
“I saw the headstone marked as a crime scene.” He speaks, peeking around with wide eyes. “I wanted to see the Detective.”
Jin immediately pushes forward, adjusting his hat and leaning down with his notebook.
“Do you know anything about how it was broken?”
The boy nods, “I was on my way to school when I saw two people walking to the headstone. One of them was dressed very fancy and the other one had blue hair.”
“Richman V and RM!” Jungkook exclaims, only for Jin to hush him down.
“It’s too early to draw conclusions!”
Jungkook scoffs, “So drawing conclusions about me without evidence wasn’t too early?!”
“Did he have bronze hair?” You immediately question, and the boy nods, “Was the other one wearing a box office uniform?”
He nods again, “They were talking to each other but not in a nice way. I think they were fighting.”
“They were fighting?” Jungkook wonders, staring at you in disbelief.
“Hold it!” Jin exclaims, moving towards the boy. He points towards you and Jungkook, expression keen, “Did you see these two near the headstone?”
He places a finger against his chin, a spark lighting up in his eyes, “I did!”
“AHA‒”
“But they were making a wish together when the headstone wasn’t broken.”
“….oh?” Jin whispers, his pen freezing in place. The boy smiles, gazing at you.
“I hope your wish came true.”
You return his smile, “Thanks for coming by, kid.”
He nods, waving at Jungkook and Jin before you open the door and let him rush home.
Silence reigns heavy in the arcade room.
Jin eventually clears his throat.
His voice is considerably quiet, nowhere near the loud and dramatic tone you were accustomed to hearing.
“It seems like I’ve made a mistake…”
“Seems like?!” Jungkook angrily shouts, but Jin coxes him right away.
“Mistakes can happen! Someone can look guilty and end up not being…”
Jungkook has a “are you serious?” expression and Jin cheekily smiles, before racing towards the door.
“Oh wow, would you look at the time?? I’ll catch up with you guys later!” The door is shutting close before you can even utter another word, your eyes rolling at the man's catastrophe.

This just in!
Famous Property Owner and Dealer Richman V and Box Office Employee RM caught for destroying one of the more treasured possessions of BTS Village!
Thanks to the testimony of one boy, more eyewitnesses were found and several pieces of evidence led to the duo facing charges. It is said that RM needed the money to attend an audition and had tried to negotiate with Richman V for help near the headstone. Richman V, who was facing the displeasure of not obtaining a particular arcade in the village, wanted to know about the mysterious treasure hidden deep beneath the stone. Sources suggests that two were baffled about the broken headstone and attempted to cover up the accident by‒
“Oh, would you just get to the good part already?!” Jungkook slams his fist against the counter, desperation leaking into his voice.
You let out a sigh, scrolling through the newspaper until you find the excerpt. Clearing your throat, you mimic your best anchor voice again.
Initially, Detective Jin from BTS Village had suspicions on a certain game room owner that goes by the name of Jeon Jungkook, but with further investigation done, it was found that he was at the crime scene prior to the incident and was deemed innocent.
“Well, it’s nice hearing someone say I’m innocent.” Jungkook remarks, leaning against his hand on his cheek.
The newspaper is yanked down, “I said you were innocent.”
“Of course you did!” He proclaims, “Why else would you want to turn your innocent boss in?”
“I can think of a couple of reasons.” You mumble underneath your breath, only for Jungkook to pout. “What?”
“I’m still broke as hell.” He shifts his attention to his account book on the counter, lazily flipping through the pages. “Business has been better, but I’m still not making enough money.”
You roll your eyes, aware that business truthfully has been better thanks to your combined efforts and that it would take time for some stable revenue to roll in, as long as Jungkook’s dramatics don’t manage to interfere.
“Maybe you should hire a different employee instead of me.” You sassily retort, “Let’s see what happens to business then.”
Jungkook narrows his eyes, “Why on earth would I do that?”
“Because you’re ‘losing’ money.” You exaggerate in the same tone he used.
“Nah, I’m never going to get rid of you.” He softly says, “You always have my back.”
For a moment, you just blink your eyes. Turning around, you’re expecting a cocky smirk on his lips or a teasing raise of his brows.
Instead, you’re met with sincere eyes and a genuine smile, something that nearly has the newspaper in your hands slipping from your hands.
You slowly open your mouth to respond.
“Why are the two of you having a staring contest?”
Both you and Jungkook whip around, watching Jin poke at one of the machines with a frown on his face.
Jungkook’s jaw drops down, “What are you doing here?!”
Jin looks at him taken aback, the anger in his voice prevalent. “What? Were you two having a moment or something?”
You avert your eyes as Jungkook’s brow twitches.
He shakes his head, a whine escaping him, “Why are you here, Jin?”
“Oh!” He pipes up, “Are you hiring at the moment by any chance?”
“What?”
Jin cheekily smiles, “So my reputation as a detective kind of went sour with this recent case, you know, with suspecting and falsely accusing someone innocent and‒ what are you doing?”
He’s being effortlessly lifted by Jungkook, before being planted right outside of the arcade.
Jungkook closes the door shut, sending him a friendly wave with a strained smile as Jin scoffs.
“Oh come on, JK!”
“Come back when I really am innocent!” He childishly laughs as Jin throws a fit of anger from the display.
Jungkook glances in your direction almost as if to gauge your reaction to his antics, but you simply smile and shake your head with a roll of your eyes.
Tumblr media
Jungkook snaps his fingers.
“This entire place should have a makeover!” He springs up from his seat from his revelation, pacing around the room, “We can take out the bookcase and maybe add more machines, we could even paint the walls maybe like a royal blue, put some speakers here‒….”
You lounge on one of the chairs as you watch your boss continuing his ramble, eyes follow along with the speed of his legs as he practically pounces around the place.
It’s been a while since the ARMY headstone mystery has been resolved, and aside from helping Detective Jin with getting a job after Jungkook’s refusal of hiring another employee, you’ve come to terms with yourself.
You have feelings for your boss. It’s plain obvious.
The problem lies in the fact that you work with him, meaning that no matter what you do and say, he’s naturally inclined to believe that you’re simply doing him a favour as an employee.
A sigh leaves your lips as you lean back in your chair.
Jungkook whirls around, childlike excitement sparking in his large doe eyes, “Well?”
You abruptly blink, realizing that you hadn’t caught onto a single thing he said because you were too caught up in your own head.
Standing up, you pat his shoulder and walk over to the counter, “Let’s discuss this later.”
“What?” Jungkook watches your fading form, a crease forming between his brows, “A-Are you sure? You seem to be really out of it these days, Y/N.”
At the hint of concern in his voice, your eyes widen, “Uh, yeah!” You nervously laugh, “I seriously doubt we’ll figure it all out in one day.”
Jungkook pursues his lips, “Hm, that’s true.”
He smiles and you wipe away the sweat from your temples, a relieved exhale leaving you.
***
You have to confess to him.
You’ve been thinking about it all night long, and as soon as the sun rose this morning, you were determined to tell Jungkook how you felt about him. You’ve already come up with a bunch of ways to convince him that yes, you like him in case he dips into his notorious denial, and even were prepared for any spouts of panic that might burst out from your dynamic abruptly shifting.
There’s nothing that can surprise you now.
Your feet immediately slow down, mouth falling agape.
In front of you is the arcade, and at the same time, you wonder if you’ve even arrived at the right shop.
Gone are the large advertising and attention drawing signs, cardboard cutout replaced with navy blue and black speakers. The yellow and blue lights have been replaced with midnight black and white ones, soft music radiating out from the door.
You continue to stare at it in puzzlement.
The arcade you knew was loud and bold, noise drowning through into your ears and strobe lights nearly blinding you.
Cautiously, you open the front door, your surprise simply magnifying with every step you take.
The walls are coloured with a shade of dark blue, replacing the dull beige completely. The bookshelf has disappeared, replaced with new gaming machines instead of similar ones linked up in a row.
One of them consists of a brand new whac-a-mole machine, your eyes flickering over the colorful display and shining mallet.
“Y/N?!” A voice suddenly calls out, snapping you out of your awe-filled daze. Turning around, you don’t see your boss in sight.
“Jungkook?” You call back out, only for the sound of boxes shifting resonating from the back room.
“Just give me a minute!”
You hum, picking up the mallet with a smile as you walk closer to the door.
“What have you done to this place?”
“You like it?”
You inspect the instrument in your hand, “Yeah, it looks amazing….”
His laughter seeps through the door, “That’s great! I just thought the place needed something different, you know? Almost like a re-opening.”
The corner of your mouth lifts up, “From now on, Jeon’s arcade is a new experience for all!”
You snort at the slogan, placing the mallet back down on the counter. That’s when your eyes focus onto the small bottle on the counter, the words ‘hair dye’ causing them to enlarge with size.
As you grab onto it, the back door room opens and Jungkook emerges out, his blonde strands bright and damp with drops of water.
He beams at you, doe eyes crinkling and a giant smile breaking out onto his features.
“What do you think?” He eagerly asks, “Doesn’t it help with the new experience in here?”
The hair dye bottle slips from your hands, no coherent words forming from the tip of your tongue as your mouth drops wide open. Jungkook can only stare in confusion as pink rapidly scatters across your features and it’s in that one sole moment you realize.
No matter how hard you try, your boss always finds some way to surprise you.

paring: seungcheol x fem reader
w.c.: 1.3k
includes: oral (fem receiving), morning sex, mentions of alcohol
your head starts to pound when your eyes face the early morning sunlight. something heavy circles around your waist.
it feels like your joints have been locked into place as you try to get up from under the covers. you keep your groan in as you rub the sleep and the ache from your eyes, and seungcheol’s arm falls to the bed with a cushioned thud due to your departure from his hold.
you manage to trudge into the bathroom and nearly knock the cup holding your toothbrush over, though your reflexes– quick for a hungover morning like this one– catches it before it clatters against the sink, which would definitely have gotten seungcheol up.
when you return to the bedroom seungcheol has one arm bent, palm sandwiched between his head and the pillow he lays on. he still has his eyes closed, still has his arm on your side of the bed. you accidentally stumble on his house slippers and you groan at the pain that shoots through your toes to your calves. you settle back on the bed with a loud grunt, hand slamming on the nightstand in an attempt to find your phone.
“we are never going drinking on a weekday ever again,” you grumble, eventually finding the little device drowning amidst your covers. you actually woke up around the same time as you would before you have to leave for work, years of routine settling into your muscles. seungcheol seems glued to the mattress, only rolling over for his arm to return to its position around your bare tummy, chasing for the warmth you provide. he presses light kisses to your hips, the line of your body, spelling out good morning before settling behind you.
“you didn’t seem to share the same sentiment last night,” he retorts, fingers leaving light trails on your body. he knows you need to get up again to get ready for work, but on days like this, he knows you won’t be able to resist the warm beckoning of your bed and his touch.
when you attempt to push yourself off of the mattress to get to your closet seungcheol lets out a whine, tightening his hold around your waist, acting as a seatbelt. you sigh, already knowing what seungcheol is planning to do, and you’re already close to caving. you’d much rather stay home than face your job, leaning much more towards the idea of staying in bed and nursing this bitch of a hangover. you’ll have to complain at soonyoung for shoving you too many tequila shots last night.
“cheol,” you try to speak, interrupted by seungcheol’s little nips on your shoulder, now having fully risen to a sitting position. his bare chest cushions your back, and you shudder at the burning feeling that envelops your whole body of your skin pressed against his. “i need to go to work.”
“mmm,” he hums, obviously intending on doing the opposite of what you’re asking him. “the company won’t die just because you ditch one day,” he whispers right into your ear, his breath warm and tickling
“yes, but i will under the hands of my boss if i do,” your hands travel to behind you, weaving your fingers into seungcheol’s black tresses, pressing him closer to you as he continues his ministrations along your jaw and neck.
“she’ll have to get over my dead body,” he takes the final blow, moving backwards so he can turn you around, letting you lay on the mattress again. he moves up to kiss the corner of your mouth, hands pushing you down, not that you’re showing any resistance. you quickly melt against his kisses, letting out the soft moans that drive seungcheol crazy. you can’t let out any more excuses, not that seungcheol’s allowing you to with the way he has your lips locked with his, tongues knotting with each other.
his fingers travel to the waistband of your underwear, his lips now making their way to your breasts, biting and tugging on your nipples, before he settles right above your clothed clit after skimming through your tummy and hips. if your muscles felt like swimming in molasses earlier then it’s all melted off into soft waves, the way seungcheol’s touch has always made you feel.
seungcheol tugs off your underwear that are already soiled from how worked up you are. he takes his fingertips, languidly dragging them on your sensitive skin, collecting the wetness that’s amassed on your sex, gushing to the inner parts of your thighs as well. he slowly pushes one digit in, lips stretching into a satisfied smirk as you let out a gasp and a whine at the feeling.
he slowly pumps before he adds another finger. his lips ghost over your clit, tongue skittish as he gives kitten licks to your pussy. the added instrument works in tandem with his digits towards your ultimate demise, and you can only surrender to the feeling.
you don’t seem like you’ll last long, head already slowly thrashing to the side, hips rising from the mattress as you chase after his fingers. all it takes is a choppy, “pl-please–ah!– s-seungcheol,” dropping from your lips before he retracts. he slips his cock from his briefs, cursing under his breath at the contact when his palm wraps around his length.
you push yourself up, on your elbows, as you watch seungcheol prepare himself. he fleetingly remembers to grab a condom, rummaging around in the nightstand drawer, fingers hurriedly tearing open one of the foil packages, wrapping himself up. then he inches closer to you before he pushes in in one quick thrust.
he manages a few more pumps before you give in to the feeling and lay back down on the bed, hair splayed out against the pillows. seungcheol thinks you’re always beautiful, but he can’t and won’t ever get enough of how angelic you look especially right now, chest bouncing as he slowly pounds into you, mouth open and letting out moans, soft from your unused throat in the mornings.
it’s great, but it’s not enough. he quickly slips out, relishing in the whine you let out when you feel empty again, but he grabs you by the waist and turns you around, lifting you by your hips and bending you by your knees. as he reenters you, it doesn’t take him long until he pushes against your sweet spot, the new position allowing him more control and rule to take you to the heavens.
you and seungcheol act out the juxtaposition to the otherwise innocent morning as the room fills with the sounds of your unabashed moans and skin slapping. your fingers grip and tug on the bedsheets, while his travels up to your hair, tugging you up so that your back is to his chest. his groans that spill into your ears spur you on even more than you can think of, and before you know it you’re coming hot and hard, your walls clamping down on his cock as he keeps thrusting, dragging your orgasm out. his soft calls of your name exchanging with pleads and “baby”s accompany his orgasm.
“fuck,” seungcheol mutters as he finally pulls out. he pulls the rubber off of his cock, tying it up before he gets off of the bed, padding over to the bathroom to throw it out and grab a little towel to clean you up. you’re already standing in front of him when he turns around, your eyes glinting at him, as you bite on your lip. your jaw nudges in the direction of the shower box as you mutter, “wanna clean me off in there?”
just how is he supposed to say no?

Vanilla Lattes [Frankie Morales x F!Reader]

You took a deep breath, hunching up your shoulders as you fumbled with the key trying to unlock the front door. Your hands felt like ice, the cold stinging your fingers and even making them swell up slightly. The key got jammed, again. The heavy raindrops pelted against your back, drenching you, and you couldn’t help but let out a prolonged groan of frustration. Pressing your body weight against the door and wriggling the key into the lock, you were grateful for the bolt of lightning which provided you with a temporary illumination to see what you’re doing. Hearing the lock click out of place, you sighed with relief as you managed to shake the door open and entered the coffee shop almost in a turbulence. You slammed the door shut before locking it behind you and turned on the light.
The chairs had been stacked neatly on the tables from the night before, the floor had been swept and mopped, and an overwhelming smell of lemons filled the room. It must have been the new air freshener your boss had purchased after the last one exploded. You slid out of your shoes, not wanting to leave a puddle of water with every step, and took off your coat, hanging it on the radiator. You checked the time on the wall clock. 3:45am.
Your apartment was shit. Your landlord was shit. And everything was going to shit. The thunderstorm had been going on for days now. At first, you were coping, despite the power outage. But now apparently there’d been a leak in the building’s boiler room and your apartment had no heat at all for the past day and a half. It was far too cold to sleep, no matter how many fluffy blankets you had to hide under. So, in the midst of the night as you tossed and turned, you were struck with an idea. You could camp out at work. No, it wasn’t the most convenient of places and if your boss found out you’d most likely be fired but at least it had heat, and lighting, and at least you could catch a few hours of sleep before it opened for business.
Thankfully your hair wasn’t too wet to begin with, thanks to the hood on your coat, and as the front of the shop began to warm up, you were able to cozy up. The mismatched patterned rugs and the dim amber lights created the perfect, homely environment. There was a sofa in the back room which you contemplated sleeping on but it was torn and covered in suspicious looking stains, so you decided to just stay out front, take a chair down and sit at a table, resting your head against the oak wood.
There was no telling how long you were asleep for when you heard a loud thudding knock against the store door. You bolted up and your eyes snapped open as you tried to distinguish the silhouette who was standing behind the glass. All the lights in the shop were on which meant he could definitely see you, but the blackness of the night sky meant that you couldn’t make him out at all. You were struck with fear, cursing yourself for coming to the coffee shop in the first place. The figure continued to bang their fists against the door and your mind started to race as you wondered what to do.
They could be anyone. They could be a serial killer. Should you call the police? You tried to shake away your anxious thoughts, promising yourself that the chances of the silhouette being a mass murderer was slim-to-none.
"Hey! I see you in there! Please- please could you let me in? I'm f-ffffreezing." The voice was deep, masculine, and it didn't necessarily sound local. You almost wanted to stifle back laughter at how they drawled out the word 'freezing'. Feeling less afraid, but still hesitant, you slowly approached the door until you could get a clearer look at the person.
It was a man, and he was soaking wet. He was wearing denim jeans and a pale green shirt. Well, it looked like it was meant to be pale green, but the rain had darkened it considerably and it clung to his body uncomfortably. In his hand, he held a soggy map and a baseball cap. He looked up at you with big brown pleading eyes as if he was waiting for you to open the door. You'd be foolish to open the door to a stranger in the dead of night.
But of course, you opened it anyway, and he didn't move an inch. He continued to stand still at the door frame, staring at you. You were lost for words. Was he going to pounce on you? Attack you? You could just slam the door in his face and leave him out in the storm... that was always a possibility.
"May I come in, p-please?" he asked politely through a shiver, and your heart sank into the depths of your chest. There was no way a man as softly spoken as him was going to put you in any kind of danger, and you almost felt bad for assuming that he would. You nodded, quickly stepping out the way so he could come into the warmth of the coffee shop. You shut the door behind him. "Are you- are you open?" he asked. He couldn't tell if the shake in his voice was from the cold, or quite possibly nerves. What were the chances he'd find a coffee shop open at 4am, and a beautiful girl to let him in?
You furrowed your eyebrows together, checking the time on the wall clock before turning back to him. "It's just turned 4:15." you sighed as if that would answer his question.
"Right, I'm sorry, that was a dumb thing to say," he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. You hoped you hadn't come off as rude. "Thank you for letting me in."
He was dripping wet, literally. His dark brown hair was flat against his head but the tips began to curl into waves as the heat of the shop quickly got to it. You had so many questions. So many. But the fact he was still holding himself, shivering, distracted you just enough to ask your next question.
"Can I get you a coffee?" you questioned him before scrunching up his nose. A coffee at 4am was going to be the last thing he needed.
To your surprise, he answered yes.
You nodded in affirmation, giving him your best barista smile out of habit and padded around the coffee bar, turning on the machine. "Will take a sec to turn on," you explained as the man just stood there. "Uhm, what's your name?" you asked, taking a paper cup and a black permanent marker. This felt like something out of a fever dream. The stranger had been adorned with your presence for approximately three minutes now and you had only just asked for his name— because you were making him a damn coffee. Nothing about this situation was ordinary.
"Frankie." he smiled. His smile was so warm and comforting, you couldn't help but shoot him an even wider smile back. You didn't know if it was the dimly lit room in the dead of night, but his eyes had a sparkle in them which brought around a feeling of protection and safety. He was a stranger, but you already felt like he could trust you.
Frankie. And his name was just as sweet as sugar. Frankie. You imagined the way it rolled off your tongue so perfectly. A pretty name for a pretty boy. He cleared his throat, snapping you out of your thoughts and you scrunched up your nose wondering how long the uncomfortable silence had lasted for. At least, you hoped it hadn’t have been uncomfortable. You gritted your teeth together and introduced yourself.
"Hey, that's a nice name." Frankie beamed, stalking over to the coffee bar and awkwardly shuffling to sit down at one of the stools.
"I was gonna say the same about yours." you giggled, trying your hardest to ignore the heat that flushed your cheeks.
"Really? It's short for Francisco." he explained as you held the paper cup under the espresso machine.
"Francisco," you hummed, liking the way that rolled off your tongue just as much as Frankie did. "It's cute," Now Frankie was blushing. "Do you have a sweet tooth?"
Frankie's gaze snapped to meet yours, his mind wandering elsewhere. "A sweet-? Ohhhh," he nodded knowingly when you held up an abundance of syrups in his direction. "You know, I've never tried coffee with syrup before. Afraid the guys will tease me for it." he muttered.
"The guys?" you beckoned further out of curiosity.
"Oh yeah uh- the guys I work with. My friends. I live with ’em too. Well like, not all of them. But Santi is my roommate- Santiago, I mean…" he rambled. You paused making his coffee, staring at him intently as the man you had just met began talking to you as if he's known you forever. He had such a friendly nature. "Sorry, am I blubbering?" he asked. "I don't normally get nervous- I mean, I'm not nervous, I just-"
You grinned ecstatically, shushing him. He looked up at you, the corners of his lips curled upwards and his chocolate coloured eyes wide, full of admiration. "So, how does a vanilla latte sound?" you chuckled.
Frankie nodded. "Delicious."
You pushed a few pumps of the vanilla syrup into the cup, stirring it around the espresso with a lollipop stick. You loved the smell, it was your favourite.
"Are you from round here?" you quizzed Frankie, hoping he wouldn't mind the questions. Small talk was part of your job as a barista, something you'd grown very much acquainted too, but after years of working here, he was the first customer who you were actually taking an interest in. Maybe it was his rugged handsome looks, or the fact fate had somehow brought you into the same coffee shop, at the same time during the same thunderous stormy night, but you had an urge to learn more about him.
"No I'm not," he started, holding up the soggy map. "I actually got lost. I'm here for work."
You took the dripping map from him and looked at it with a quirked eyebrow. "Don't you have the Maps app on your phone?"
"The what? Sorry, I'm not too good with technology," he brought his phone out his pocket and set it on the counter. "It's actually ran out of battery."
"Thankfully we have the same phone," you laughed, and Frankie's eyes lit up. "I should have a charger round the back. Where do you work?"
"Everywhere, really," Frankie shrugged. "I'm a pilot," The milk had finished steaming and you brought the jug away from the machine and back to the cup. Tipping the cup to its side, you practiced some experimental latte art. "How long have you worked here? I'm assuming you work here," he said awkwardly and you let out another laugh. "Well I had to check!" he laughed back, raising his hands defensively.
"Four years," you sighed. "Was supposed to just be a temp job to get me through my degree, help pay my tuition, but… you know, I'm still here."
Frankie nodded. "I get it. I used to do engineering stuff at some dodgy garage back in my hometown. I used the money to help me get through flight school but I was there way longer than I needed to be," Frankie told you and you nodded sadly. "But I'm glad you're here."
"You are?" you asked, raising your eyebrows.
"Well yeah!" he exclaimed cheerily. "If you weren't, who would be able to save me from this God-awful rainstorm."
You passed him his latte. His jaw dropped slightly when he saw the pattern you'd carefully construed with your jug of steamed milk. A heart. "I- wow," he said almost breathlessly.
"Do you like it?" you asked nervously, biting down on your lip. You hoped your attempt of a flirt didn't come across as too overbearing.
"Yes, I like it," he confirmed before clearing his throat and making direct eye contact with you. "I like it-a-latte."
After a momentary silence you burst into laughter, Frankie soon following. "You dork!" you smacked his arm playfully. Frankie swore your laugh was contagious, and he adored the way small crinkles in the corners of your eyes appeared. This man had made you smile so much in the past fifteen minutes, your cheeks were beginning to hurt.
Frankie took a sip of the hot beverage, before licking his lips and relishing the taste. "That's delicious." he moaned longingly before taking another sip. Your fingernails subconsciously began to graze at the wooden counter. His moans and hums of delight were like the sweetest melody you'd ever heard. You'd whip him up a thousand more vanilla lattes if you got to hear him make those noises more often.
Your smile dropped when you remembered he was still dripping, even his bare forearms had goose pimples. There was a man sitting before you in soaking wet clothes, and he was too shy to even mention it to you. "Is the coffee warming you up?" you asked with slight concern. He nodded gratefully, taking another sip. You were glad. "We might have a change of clothes out back. It'll be employee uniform but-"
"You wouldn't mind?" Frankie asked with gratitude.
"Of course not, let me go see what I can find."
You went to the back of the coffee shop, where it was a lot colder, darker and dingier. Rummaging through one of the plastic crates, you managed to find a pair of black pants and a maroon coloured polo shirt, both with the company logo embroidered into it. They looked to be about his size. You took a sniff, thanking the Lord they were clean. You brought them back out to Frankie.
"You have to wear this?" he asked with a slight gasp as he unfolded the shirt.
"Yeah, it's not the most attractive," you giggled. "Will it be okay?"
"It's perfect, thank you so much." Frankie stood up and went to take off his shirt.
"Oh- uhm-" you started, diverting your gaze immediately. You got a glimpse of his tummy and the little trail of hair between his belly button and the waistline of his underwear that was poking out above his jeans. He pulled his shirt back down and looked at you with doe-eyes. "There's a room out back if you'd feel more comfortable getting changed back there. You know, for like, privacy." you mumbled awkwardly.
Frankie nodded. "Thank you." he said graciously before following your finger that was pointing towards the backdoor.
He wasn't gone for long, maybe just a few minutes, but you couldn't help yourself from daydreaming about him. You cursed yourself for letting your mind wander as you imagined him changing out of his sticky wet clothes and into the clothes you had provided for him. You thought about the shape of his arms, the curve in his bicep and the way his thighs might flex as he slides his legs into the pants. Maybe you were the one who needed a coffee to wake you up from these ridiculous thoughts.
When he returned, you were both back to laughing almost immediately. He did a little twirl, modelling the employee outfit. "It's cute! Suits you. You know if you ever get bored of that piloting thing…" you joked.
"I'll consider it, thanks," Frankie chuckled.
"Oh, you should take off your socks and I'll hang them next to my coat on the radiator. There's nothing worse than having wet feet." you recommended.
"You sure?" Frankie asked hesitantly, but already reaching down to untie his laces. You nodded your head. Noticing his hair was still wet, you grabbed a small tea towel from one of the cupboards.
"You should dry your hair too," you told him, passing him the towel. Your urge to care for him was almost maddening. "So you don't catch a cold."
"W-would you?" Frankie asked awkwardly.
"You want me to dry your hair for you?"
Frankie nodded— and how could you possibly refuse him?
“How come you aren’t wearing your hat?” you quizzed, gesturing aimlessly towards the discarded baseball cap on the table.
“Well I like this hat. Didn’t want it to get wet.” he chuckled. You gently let the towel tangle in his dark brown locks of hair, making a conscious effort to massage his scalp. He closed his eyes. "F-feels so good…" there was that elicit moan again. You didn't say a word, continuing to gently rub the towel into his hair. This whole night definitely felt like a fever dream.
The hours that went by felt like mere minutes as you and Frankie talked and laughed and messed around. Five cups of coffee later, and you were both practically bouncing off the walls, full of energy. You had clicked instantly and learned that you both had so much in common with each other.
He was charmed by you, entranced even. If your beauty wasn't enough, he admired your endearing personality and how you were so thoughtful and passionate with everything you did. From the latte art to drying his hair for him, he thought you were the most perfect girl he had ever met.
You could say the exact same about him. You didn't want the night to end. In fact, you wanted to spend every waking moment with him. You learned a lot about him too. He was ex-military, divorced, with a two year old daughter that he couldn't help but gush about. He showed you a photograph of her that he kept in his wallet and she was the spitting double of Frankie, with big dark eyes and curly brown hair.
By morning, the storm had ended and the golden sun had risen. The birds were tweeting and the roads slowly started to get busy in preparation for the day ahead.
The cuckoo wall clock made a disrupting noise as the handle struck 9am. "Oh shoot," you gasped, standing up. "We're officially open for business! Uh- I gotta go get dressed for work so I'll be as quick as I can. Just- just wait here." you told Frankie in a hurried rush before whisking yourself to the back of the store.
You didn't even give Frankie a chance to reply. He sat there, at the table, nursing his fifth vanilla latte. You hadn't been gone long at all when the doorbell jingled, signifying that the coffee shop had gotten its first customer of the day. Frankie abruptly stood up, his eyes going comically wide as he spun around on his heel, ready to address the customer.
It was a tall, broad shouldered businessman with dark blonde hair holding a briefcase. His mismatched patterned tie and pocket square was enough to make Frankie cringe as he sauntered into the coffee shop with tired eyes. "The usual." he muttered.
Frankie furrowed his eyebrows together. "Hey, I recognise you from somewhere…" he trailed off, thinking of where he might've seen the man before. Frankie figured he was just being hyper-aware, considering he wasn't even from round here.
"You must be new," the customer grumbled. "Three shot espresso black coffee, extra hot, extra wet, no sugar or sweetener or anything like that." His words were very stern and demanding.
Frankie couldn't help but emit a small, helpless gasp when he remembered he was dressed in employee uniform. It certainly looked like he worked in the coffee shop, but the truth was, he hadn't operated one of these extravagant machines in his life. He might know how to do helicopter repairs but this was brand new to him. And what the hell did 'extra hot' and 'extra wet' mean? The businessman sighed, tapping at his gold wristwatch impatiently.
"Chop chop," he said rudely. "I don't have all day." Frankie frowned at his comment before sauntering behind the coffee bar, looking at all the different machines around him. He took a deep breath. Taking a paper cup, he requested the businessman's name. "Really? I know you know my name," the man snarled. “Or do you need me to do the thing?”
“What thing?” Frankie quizzed back feeling genuine bewilderment. The man took a deep breath and pointed his finger, but before he could say anything you returned from the back to the front of the shop just in time. "Ah!" Frankie called excitedly, taking your hand and pulling you behind the counter with him. "We have our first customer of the day!" he exclaimed with a fake enthusiasm through gritted teeth. The businessman slowly dropped his ring clad hand back down to his side and huffed in annoyance.
You wanted to laugh. Frankie was so adorable. Frankie's brown eyes flicked nervously between you and the businessman as he passed you the paper cup.
"Just the usual?" you asked the businessman politely, already writing his name down on the cup. Frankie assumed he must've been a regular.
"Obviously." he rolled his eyes.
"How come you didn't send your assistant for your morning coffee?" you asked.
"You know I don't care for small talk." the businessman sighed before pulling out his wallet.
"Right, sorry, that'll be four dollars please." you apologised quickly. He tapped his black company credit card against the reader and you passed him his triple shot espresso. He left without even muttering a thank you.
"What a jackass," Frankie whispered, intensely staring at the man long after he left the shop. He slipped into the back passenger seat of a car which quickly drove away.
"Believe me, I'm used to it. There's plenty of customers who are like that." you explained, making sure all the machines were switched on and ready for the day.
"Well you shouldn't have to be," Frankie sighed, shaking his head. "I should probably go," he shrugged. You nodded your head understandingly. Frankie went to the back of the shop to collect his clothes. "Thanks for everything." Frankie smiled. He really didn't want to leave but he knew he had to eventually.
"Of course." you returned the smile. You found yourself fumbling with the stack of napkins. He hadn't even left the coffee shop and you already missed him. Frankie nodded and headed towards the door. He opened it and turned to you one last time.
"By the way, what does 'extra hot' and 'extra wet' mean?" he asked, and you burst into a fit of giggles at his comment. Frankie loved hearing you laugh, and he loved the way that he was the person who could make you laugh.
Picking up the black permanent marker, you scribbled your phone number on a napkin. "Give me a call and find out?" you suggested, handing him your number with a small but flirty smile. Frankie's cheeks reddened and his heart felt fuzzy.
"O-okay," he waved. "I'll speak to you soon. Have a good day at work."
"See ya, Frankie." you smiled one last time.
That was, by far, one of the best nights you had ever had.

Love in the 21st - Jay Halstead Fic - Three
"We got a name, Omar Rojas." I said loudly as me and Jay got back up to the bullpen, going over to the printer and grabbing his photo that I had printed on the way here, wireless is a wonderful thing, and slapping it up on the board next to the two who are now headless.
"Alright, this guys got priors for drugs, assault, carrying a weapon, the usual. Except he is a member of the Columbian Cartel." Jay explained as he took a seat on the edge of his desk.
"Good job, see if there's anything else you can dig up on this guy, friends, family, known locations." He instructed just as his phone rang. "Excuse me."
A whistle coming from the top of the stairs caught everyone's attention, Al had been over to the academy and pulled someone out to help us out. The guy he had got was tall and he had dark blonde/brownish hair.
"Guys, this is Adam Ruzek, Adam this is intelligence." He briefly introduced before he looked over at Erin. "Where's Voight?"
"Uh, he took a call, he went down the hall." She answered nodding her head in the direction he went, with a nod Al made his way past.
"Antonio Dawson, welcome to intelligence." Dawson got up and introduced himself, everyone following suit as they met the second newbie today, sighing to myself slightly I stood up and walked over being the last one to introduce myself.
"Hey, Kylie Platt fellow newbie." I smiled shaking his hand, that were real soft by the way.
"Adam Ruzek, and I wasn't told there was another newbie." He smiled looking down at me.
"Uh yeah, I was transferred here this morning, although I didn't know I would be in intelligence until a couple days before I started." I laughed slightly thinking back to how shocked I was when Trudy first told me.
"We must be real good at what we do then." He joked winking at me, he was about to say something else before he was interrupted.
"Hey Kylie, wanna grab a coffee?" Erin asked coming up besides me with a 'let's go' kind of look on her face.
"Uh, yeah sure." I said kind of unsure giving Adam a small smile before following Erin into the break room.
"Listen, I just wanted to let you know that if I was you, I wouldn't get romantically involved with anyone here." She smiled slightly pouring herself a cup of coffee as I made myself a tea, never a fan of coffee.
"What? Adam? I just met the guy like five minutes ago." I said confused.
"No, I don't mean him I just mean in general, ya girls have gotta look out for each other, I'm mainly letting you know because of Voight, he really does not approve of in-house romances." She said with a slight smile grabbing her mug before walking out into the bullpen.
"Hey Erin." I called making her look back over her shoulder. "Thank you, for the advice." I smiled receiving one in return.
"There's one last hit, I've arranged a meet with another deal Xavier." Voights voice booms as he strolls into the bullpen, putting yet another picture up on the board. "Ruzek you're up, you're gunna pose as a buyer and get this guy to set you up with his boss." Voight pointed at the newest newbie.
----------
The meet was a success, the Xavier guy was quick to roll on another guy, his whereabouts currently being traced by Chicago's finest tech whizz Sheldon Jin, speaking of which.
"I got a location boss." His voice sounded from the hallway as he practically ran through to Voight's office.
"Alright, lets gear up, Platt you ride with me." He said nodding to me.
"Uh, yes, Sarge." I nodded as he walked away. "Okay, what did I do?" I asked the rest of the guys who were getting ready to move out.
"Probably for your baseball practice earlier."Jay grinned as I narrowed my eyes at him.
"What baseball practice?" Antonio asks as we make our way down to the armory.
"You haven't heard how we got Omar's name?" He asked looking over at me with a sly grin on his face.
"I haven't, how'd you get it?" Adam asked as the rest of them shook their heads that they didn't know either.
"It was simple, he told us, anything Jay says is a lie." I lied narrowing my eyes at Jay.
"That doesn't sound right." Adam chuckled going along with Jay, Jackass.
"It's not, mini Platt here took the guys bat and started swinging it around the store, there was shit flying everywhere. He was so pissed man." Jay laughed loudly, the rest of the team joining in.
"Ha ha ha, you're real funny, you know that?" I laughed sarcastically.
"Come on mini Platt, I've already told you it was badass, Voight probably just wants to know if it went down the way he was told or something." Jay said throwing his arm around my shoulders.
"Yeah, yeah, oh and by the way until you stop with the 'mini Platt' nickname you've got going on, you will be further known as chuckles." I smile sarcastically at him as the rest of the team got geared up.
"That'll never stick." He laughed shaking his head checking my vest was secure, just as Adam walked back in.
"We're ready to roll, you guys good?" He asked looking between my narrowed eyes and Jay's laughing face.
"We're good man, right mini Platt?" He chuckled raising an eyebrow at me.
"Wait, it just clicked, you're the niece aren't you." Adam asked wide eyed as he looked down at me.
"You're way too good for intelligence Ruzek." I laughed sarcastically patting his chest, turning and walking out towards the cars, hearing Jay's laughter as I went. "C'mon Chuckles we've gotta go!" I yelled grinning back at him as I watched how the laughter stopped and he narrowed his eyes at me for a change.
-----------
We were about five minutes away from our location when Voight turned to look at me slightly before looking back at the road again, this is all the fifteen minute drive has been, him looking at me every now and again.
"Hey, did I do something wrong?" I asked looking at the side of his face, watching how a small smirk made its way onto his ever resting bitch face.
"I heard about what happened in that store." He said without looking at me.
"I didn't hurt anybody and I got the name, what's the issue?" I asked shrugging my shoulders. "I mean sure some of his goods are now unsaleable but that's his fault for not telling me when I first asked." I carried on looking out of my window.
"You did good kid." He smiled at me as he stopped the car before something behind me caught his attention. "Damn it." He muttered as he got out of the car and went over to a guy wearing a suit, who I believe is the Lieutenant from violent crimes.
"Approaching the apartment now." Jules' voice came through on the com as her, Antonio, Erin and Jay made their way inside the building.
"You didn't think to tell me this why?!" Voights yell carried through the air, grabbing his walkie. "Suspect is believed to be in the building! I repeat Pulpo is in the building." He yelled into his radio just as gunshots were heard coming from the apartment block.
"Officer down! Officer down! Jules has been hit in the neck!" Erin's panicked voice came through the coms causing my blood to run cold.
"Pulpo's heading out the back exit of the building, he's armed." Antonio's breathless voice came through the radio.
"All units go! This guy shot one of our own, I don't care if he walks out." Voight ordered, nodding I took off knowing exactly what he meant, if you get the shot, take it.
"He's heading south through the alley that runs along the north side of the building." Adam's voice came through.
Stopping in my tracks I turned around jumping in one of the SUV's and taking off to where I knew that the exit to the alley was. Just as I made it to the alley a loud bang was heard as a body ran straight into the side of the car, falling to the ground with a thud, jumping out I raised my weapon and held my aim on the guy groaning in pain on the floor.
"Chicago PD! Stay down and put your hands behind your head," I yelled kicking the gun that he'd dropped away from him, Jay and Adam appearing seconds after. "What's up chuckles, too quick for you?" I laughed as he knelt down and cuffed Pulpo.
"Smart thinking." Adam panted leaning up against the car with a small smile on his face.
"Why, thank you." I smiled helping Jay stand Pulpo up and shove him in the back of the car.
-----------
"My god, I can not wait to go home and just forget all about today." I muttered from my place infront of Trudy's desk as I nurse my now cold cup of tea. Jules didn't make it, the bullet that hit her caught an artery, she had bled out before she'd even made it to med.
"I know Kyles, I still can't believe that he kept the fact that the bastard was in the building, if he would've just told Voight she'd still be alive." Trudy muttered narrowing her eyes at a figure who was in the captains office. Lieutenant Belden of violent crimes, absolute scum if you ask me.
Nodding in agreement I turned round just as Belden left the office, bad timing for him though as an extremly pissed off Voight stormed into the building.
"You did this!" He yelled as he charged at Beldon shoving him into the wall behind him. "You got her killed!" He yelled pointing his finger in his face.
Trudy was quick to come round and push him away, pushing against his chest as other officers grabbed him and pulled him back.
"Not the time or place Sergeant." Trudy told him seriously as she let go and pointed upstairs. "Go on." She told him receiving a slight glare from him before he stormed off slamming the gate behind him.
"Everyone back to work!" She yelled at the patrolmen who were stood watching the scene unfold. They quickly went back to their business. "And that, is just a taste of why you do not mess with Hank Voight and his unit." She sighed walking back round to her side of the desk.
"Platt, get back upstairs now." Voight's loud voice caught me off guard as he rushed back down the stairs and past the desk towards the garage type place where the cage sits, our private interview room for pieces of shit such as Pulpo. Which is currently where Antonio is, hopefully beating him senseless for what he did to Jules.
"What's going on Sarge?" I asked as me and Trudy looked at him confused.
"Antonio's son has been kidnapped." He said lowly before he went, I'm guessing, to the cage to get Dawson.
"Oh shit." I muttered to myself spinning round and sprinting up the stairs to intelligence.

Okay hear me out something really really and really dark with indra 🤭 Like you “cheating on him” ( Reader didn’t probally just some weirdo mailman arriving at theyre mountain home asking for stuff and the reader lets him and somehow they make it into the bedroom?? 😭) and indra comes in and it just becomes really dark
"something really really and really dark with Indra..."
My brain didn't need much more to create something completely bizarre and sickening.
TW: Non-con, kidnapping, blood, s3x with a dead man lmao.
Tumblr media
The night was short, too short for your liking. You always get this feeling when Indra is absent when his presence is so far away he is not even perceptible in the scope of your reach.
If your man is with you, you know when the sun goes down the torture begins. Upon meeting him, you never expected such a handsome countenance could carry so much evil inside. And although he claims to want you, at this point you understand all he wants is absolute possession over you, he is not interested in pursuing your love or seeking your adoration.
But of course, whoever fell into the clutches of such a beast, and to make matters worse, voluntarily as you had done, had no way to escape. Who would dare to face the mighty Otsutsuki? He who would make people run in dismay at the mere sound of his name.
Trapped in the depths of an isolated forest, you had given up any hope of ever walking the earth freely years ago. There was no way to evade the surveillance of your partner, who was everywhere with the secrecy of a feline.
If you had the courage to try to run, to scream for help, what awaited on feeling his hands around your neck was even worse than death. He always got what he desired, and the only thing he had craved was you.
It took several frustrating attempts to free yourself that led you to be brutally clamored by him on the forest floor, while his grip left bruises on any part that had contact with your skin. The scene ended grotesquely, as he carried you back home as if nothing had happened. Your bloody form, with clothes torn off and a few bones, were broken by Indra's violence, lay fainting on his arms, time after time.
Eventually, you understood that there would be no point with such an approach when in your last try it all got too much and he decided to break both of your wrists to make you stop resisting. The recovery was long, and when you were back to normal, you decided to succumb to being used every night rather than savaged that way.
But now, as you sat looking out the window, you thought to yourself. Indra had left on a trip weeks ago, and as usual, it was unclear where he was heading. Escaping would be imprudent, for perhaps it was all a test, a made-up situation to see how you would react to such a prolonged absence.
Forgetting the matter, you got up to the kitchen when a loud noise on the outside caught your attention. Resuming your previous position, you watched as a man with long black hair fell to his knees a few feet from the door, dropping to the ground and barely holding himself up with his hands.
There it is, Indra's damned testing.
Rushing away from the window and leaning your back against the wall, you gasped for breath, trying to calm yourself. As sorry as you were for that human being, you knew that your partner would appear at any second and cruelly end his life. He was simply trying to make you take a false step, tempting your big heart and your ample generosity.
Minutes that felt like an eternity passed, as the pleas for help grew lighter and lighter and the volume diminished.
No one was attacking.
The man continued to kneel, trying to reach the house.
Unable to endure, you decided to betray your preemptive alarms and ran out of the house. This person was severely wounded, unable to move or walk on his own.
A sense of security assaulted you as you helped him in and laid him down on your bed, while you analyzed the wounds and the origin of the blood.
No one was attacking!
It was a tough job to put the man's battered body to rights, but after extensive treatment of his wounds, he was no longer in danger and regained his breath, still lying on Indra's pillow.
And with that, the man grabbed you by the nape of your neck and leaned you over him, causing the lips of the two of you to gently meet. It wasn't like Indra's touches, it wasn't possessive or unwanted, it was romantic, gentle, warm, and beautiful.
"You saved my life and I don't even know your name..."
"No need to exaggerate, gentleman. Had I left you there, you probably would have woken up after a good few minutes, I simply relieved the pain. As for my name... I regret to say that I cannot reveal it."
"A beautiful mystery... in that case, there's no need to know mine either."
The temperature rose, not taking long to exchange tongues, and avoiding to climb on top of him because of the state of his poor body, you lay down on your side of the bed, where Indra had taken you countless times.
Not wanting to let go, you simply let him handle the moment.
After a slight hesitation, he pulled away and looked into your eyes, asking permission to do it again. Licking your lips, it was you who initiated the action this time.
Hands danced everywhere, and clothes were lost with speed. He had you mount him, making it clear he could not exert himself too much due to lack of strength. Not wanting to argue against that logic, you sank on his erect length with a moan, while your eyes closed tightly.
You only opened them when you began to feel your orgasm approach, seeking eye contact for more pleasure. But you were disconcerted to see that his gaze was fixed on a corner of the room, to which your back was turned.
A pleased smile graced his features, not even paying attention to you.
"This way is fine, boss?"
Your blood froze in understanding.
Indra's test.
But what you didn't expect was for the man beneath you to suddenly become completely paralyzed, as a muffled THUD rang through the room and the hot liquid splashed your face and chest, as well as your arms.
Your eyes squeezed shut as a kunai was thrust into his forehead, killing him on the spot. A quick instinct assaulted your muscles as you tried to pull the slain man's limb out of you and run, getting away from your partner and trying to save yourself.
Now, this was the worst situation in the world.
There was no way you were going to pull through this.
But a huge, strong hand grabbed your hair as he noticed your intentions, pulling you down on the man's body and extracting the murder weapon with the other hand.
Tears began to stream down your cheeks as your hands closed over his wrist, futilely trying to make him let go of your hair.
"Unsightly..."
"Disgusting..."
"It only took you a second of my absence to jump on a bastard's cock. I knew you were an insufferable fucker from the way you cry and beg for my touches, but now I see it's your natural way of acting...you're just a whore, aren't you?"
It has been a long time since you realized how your rejections towards his actions were perceived and qualified as wanting, where Indra's reality was completely distorted.
"I...N-N-N..."
You can't get your tongue to move properly to outline his name, trying to defend yourself somehow. Ironic, for that heated muscle had danced shamelessly seconds ago across the man's lips lying beneath you.
"Shut your ungrateful mouth you rotten filthy bitch."
Your face is pressing against the man's neck, being held still by Indra. The blood dripping from the mortal wound on that person's forehead oozed down your features, mingling with your tears.
"Is this what you wanted? It takes a worm-like him to make you realize who you belong to? A damn misfortune that cute little cunt of yours has been desecrated in such a manner."
And as your breathing continued to heave and your body was convulsing in revulsion because the murdered man's limb continued inside you, you didn't notice Indra's weight on your back until it was too late.
"I allowed this hole to remain virgin waiting to be taken when my first son was inside you... The notion of fucking you along with my offspring was wonderful, but as you won't outlive this, I'll give myself the treat I've been depriving of."
You can feel the tip of his cock exert pressure on your ass, and even as a dead man lies beneath you both, filling your pussy, Indra has no trouble getting fully hard and forcing his way into you.
Holding your neck with both hands, his chest is pressed against your back as his waist slams viciously over your form, making you cry out in pain and getting halting pleas for mercy from your lips.
Everything is a nightmare.
Indra is a nightmare.
And even with the dark picture in that room, with your face smeared in The Otsutsuki's latest victim's blood, you hear his breathing pick up pace, grunts coming from deep in his throat as his dick mercilessly works your tight channel.
The man's length beneath your body lost its rigidity, uselessly stuffing you.
You have no idea how much time elapsed in that assault, for your consciousness shut down a few times and you were forcibly awakened by his slapping.
Eventually, his seed mixes with the blood coming from your not-so-virgin opening. Beastly sounds are heard from behind you as your eyes close in defeat, tears continue to fall unchecked.
And suddenly the last sensation you experience in your life is that of such abuse.
Accompanied by the sharp cold metal teeth of the kunai that slits your throat and robs you of your last breath.

“The Most Important Person” ↠ Lucien x MC [SMUT]
Tumblr media
AO3 Link: Here
Pairing: Lucien x MC (Female)
Warnings: overstimulation, unprotected s&x, multiple orgasms, jealous!Lucien
Description: Jealous Lucien smut from “True Love Date.” That’s it
Summary: Lucien shows her just exactly who the most important person to him was.
Word Count: 4,013
Author’s Note: This is my entry for Day 6 of Kinktober. I used this Kinktober 2020 Prompt
Day 6: Free Use
Also, requested by Icy~ ^-^ Inspired by this little section from my "Partners in Pleasure" fic: The Lucien who had slammed her into the wall with a dangerous “Tell me,” hissed angrily through clenched teeth when she was asked about the most important person in her life. The Lucien who had tortured her so ardently that very night as he grit out a “You don’t want to make me jealous again, kitten,” before thoroughly ravaging her.
I'm pretty sure every Lucien stan who is a writer have written some version of this. This is my take. Also, I've taken "overstimulation" as in "fucking brainless" which also translates to "too many damn orgasms" in my book. Enjoy!
[DISCLAIMER] As always, the characters, art, music do not belong to me. The only thing I own is the plot. Lines that are taken directly from the "True Love Date" will have * in front of the text.
⊱ ──────ஓ๑♡๑ஓ ────── ⊰
“If you don't mind, I'll walk that line Stuck on the bridge between us Gray areas and expectations But I'm not the one if we're honest But I wanna sleep next to you And I wanna come home to you I wanna hold hands with you I wanna be close to you”
Troye Sivan – “Talk Me Down”
*“So, Professor Lucien, is there anyone you’re crushing on here?” Kiki asks Lucien amidst boisterous cheering.
Lucien chuckles as he looks over at the girl, whose cheeks were blazing scarlet. “Yes,” the answer slips easily and naturally out of his mouth.
She ducks her head then, trying to tug her hand free from Lucien’s grasp, but he holds on tight. The crowd of her coworkers cheer and spin the bottle again. The neck of the bottle comes to a stop in front of Lucien again and everyone burst into loud exclamations once more.
“Who is it? Who?” Everyone clamors around Lucien in excitement, trying to force the answer from his lips.
He gazes back at her and her eyes skips from him, staring pointedly at the wall behind him. Lucien smiles amusedly and downs the shots, much to everyone’s disappointment. A wave of warmth spreads from his throat, blossoming outward from his chest.
Her coworkers continue to play until the bottle stops in front of her. “Finally, it’s the boss’s turn!” Kiki grins widely as the mood suddenly changes, everyone leaning forward in anticipation.
“Tell us who is the most important to you and why,” Willow announces after a dramatic pause. She winks at Kiki and adds, “Be specific.”
Lucien could hardly admit to himself how eagerly he awaits her response, stiffening up and holding his breath.
She sighs and chances a peek at Lucien, cheeks and ears turning a rosy shade of pink as she prepares herself. *“Because I got to know this someone…” she begins shyly, blushing harder. “He…showed me a brand new world. He’s gentle, but not pretentious. A mystery, but also clear as day.” She starts slowly, but her voice begins to pick up enthusiasm as she goes on. “He can see all of my thoughts and he teaches me the ways of the world.”
Lucien’s hand tightens on his glass as he desperately tries to swallow the prickly feelings that were threatening to engulf him. For some reason, he didn’t like where this is going. There was a thought that nagged at him in the back of his mind. He had seen her chatting cheerfully with that officer…that-Gavin. Had heard her burst into excited laughter when she was on the phone with Kiro. Had witnessed that damn CEO, Victor, picking her up in his stupidly expensive sports car. Could she be talking about any one of them?
She leans forward unknowingly, as she continues, *“When I meet setback, he’d guide me with patience and understanding.” Her voice has a tender lilt to it.
Lucien savagely downs the contents of his glass and sets it down before he could crush it. The warming effects of the alcohol disappears and all he could feel is the thudding of his heartbeat roaring in his ears. The only thought that rages through his mind is who, who, who?
*“He is…very important to me,” she concludes softly with a small sigh, a rare smile breaking through her features.
Her coworkers collectively release their breaths.
*“That was visceral! I bet the person isn’t here or else Boss wouldn’t have said all that!” Someone chimes teasingly.
“Yeah! You know how shy Boss is!” Another person laughs noisily.
The comments grate at Lucien’s ears and he grinds his jaw. A different kind of warmth, one that is white hot, courses through his veins.
“I really want to know who it is!” Kiki wonders aloud.
Lucien silently takes another shot, trying to quell the rage that was slowly building inside him. His vision starts to blur, but he pays it no mind.
She laughs quietly and shakes her head. “Let’s just continue the game,” she hastily directs their attention back to the bottle on the table.
Coming here tonight…was a bad idea, a thought pops up unbidden. Lucien tosses back another shot, missing the worried glance she throws in his direction.
The party continues, but Lucien’s mood worsens, along with the drunkenness of the crowd.
At some point, she slips to the bathroom and when Lucien couldn’t take the burning question any longer, he says some stupid excuse to her coworkers and leaves to go find her. The question bores a hole in Lucien’s mind as he stalks silently along the dimly lit hallway.
Who is this important person?
His fists clench and the scowl on his face deepens. The alcohol he had drunk earlier blurs all thought, all reason.
Remember your purpose, Ares. A voice whispers in his mind, but Lucien shoves it aside. He could care less about his purpose at this moment.
A sudden movement catches his eye and before any reasonable thought occurs, he’s pushing the girl against the wall, his hand grabbing her wrist.
*“What are you doi-“
*“That person who’s most important to you…Who is he? Tell me,” his mouth is moving before his brain registers the words. A look of confusion spreads across her face and Lucien presses harder against her. “Tell me!” Nothing but fiery rage runs through his entire body.
Her expression softens, “It’s you…” she says, but Lucien presses harder against her, only hearing a soft buzzing. “Lucien,” she calls his name and her words finally gets through the buzzing in his ears. “It’s you I was talking about,” she murmurs, smiling. “You’re very important to me…” Stunned, Lucien loosens his grip on her as he backs away. He hears his heartbeat thudding in his ears, a roaring that reverberates throughout him and she continues. “Everything I said was meant for you to hear but you misunderstood…”
The relief flooding through him was instantaneous and he nearly stumbles. There is nothing in his eyes except for the sight of her smiling face. “I’m sorry…did I hurt you?” Lucien asks as he drops her wrist.
“A little…but I’m okay,” She smiles, and Lucien rubs her wrist gently.
“I’m…sorry,” Lucien pulls her into his arms as he breathes a sigh of relief into her hair. It should’ve unnerved him with how relieved he felt, but Lucien couldn’t bring himself to care.
“Shall we go?” She asks, voice muffled into his chest, “I think I’ve had enough.”
He agrees readily and ignores the whispers of “Stupid. You’re a fool, Ares.”
The girl in his arms robs all reasonable thought, but Lucien thinks to himself that he prefers it that way as she slips her hand into his. His only colors in the world, he would follow her blindly wherever she goes.
They say goodbyes to her coworkers and Lucien fights the urge to claim when he sees a male coworker smiling at her. Kim, Lucien remembers.
The two of them chat a little too long for Lucien’s liking, and he walks up to the pair, offering the singer a tight smile. “Shall we go?” He asks the girl, his hand naturally finding purchase on her shoulder.
She nods cheerfully as she waves goodbye at Kim and allows herself  to be led away by Lucien. Lucien clenches the hand not holding hers.
Fool, a voice creeps up in the back of his mind again, but Lucien ignores it.
Lucien is silent in the cab ride home and he can feel her sneaking glances at him, questions as clear as day written on her face.
He could sense her reluctance to part as she squares her shoulders, physically preparing herself to say goodbye when they reach their respective doors. Gently, he places his hand on her shoulder, thumb rubbing a soothing circle as he maneuvers her to face him. “Come inside for some tea to sober up. You’ve drank a lot tonight.” Her eyes instantly light up and Lucien’s mouth curls up in an answering smile. He lets go of her shoulder to unlock his door. She follows him inside eagerly.
No sooner did the door close behind her, Lucien is tugging her into his arms. “Lucien, wha-mmph!” Her question is muffled by the sudden press of Lucien’s lips. “Lucien!” She gasps against his lips.
“Shh,” Lucien murmurs, taking her lower lip and biting down gently. “I’ve been wanting to do this ever since I saw you today.” The sudden confession renders her speechless, but she accepts his kiss, earning a pleased sound from Lucien. She tastes the sweetness of the wine he drank earlier, and a heady feeling fills her veins, as if she could get drunk on his lips alone. He kisses her slow and sweet, pulling her snug against his chest. “I’ve missed you, my little butterfly,” The hushed whisper floats between the languid presses of their lips.
“Lucien…” her arms automatically snake around his neck, pulling him closer to her. The tantalizing way she whispers his name sends heat rushing through Lucien’s body. “I’ve…missed you…too.”
Her admission makes him pause. Pulling away slightly, he peers into her beautiful eyes and swallows hard when he sees nothing but the reflection of himself. Her eyes had only him. Lucien tries to push down the prickly feelings he had been feeling throughout the entire night, but to no avail. He wanted to claim her, to make her his, so that she wouldn’t ever look at another man. “Butterfly…” he lets out a breath, the small puff of air hits her lips and she shivers. “Won’t you give yourself to me tonight?”
She gazes upwards at him, and Lucien knows he’s hopelessly and irrevocably fallen into her trap.
So much for the feeble attempt to stay away.
“Yes…” her voice is quiet, but Lucien hears it all the same. He tucks a finger under her chin and leans closer, their breaths mingling.
“Then would it be okay for me to have you however I like?” His words ghost over her lips and he could see her lips tremble from the sensation.
Her cheeks flush and Lucien’s eyes were dark. The unmistakable hunger swimming in his irises makes her swallow. “Have me…Lucien…”
With that invitation, Lucien surges forward, slotting his lips against hers. His tongue prods the seam of her lips, asking for permission. When he was granted, his tongue enters to taste her mouth as he slips a leg between her thighs, trapping her against the door. “Will you give all of you to me?” Lucien asks, fingers caressing her face.
She nods breathlessly, “Yes…I’m all yours...”
It was like a switch had flipped. Lucien grinds his leg against her as he presses a hungry kiss against her open mouth. She gasps at the friction and Lucien slips a hand under her blouse, teasing and tracing tantalizing circles on the heated skin. “That’s good to hear, kitten,” he growls against the shell of her ear before licking at her lobe, “Because you sure didn’t act that way earlier.” His lips trace blazing kisses along the span of her neck and his hand ducks under her skirt. “You’re already so wet,” he whispers silkily. “Naughty girl, don’t you know what I’m about to do to you?” He curls his finger into her as she arches against him with a whimper.
“Lu-Lucien,” she stammers as her knees buckle. She holds onto Lucien’s shoulders for dear life.
“Shh,” Lucien shushes her by laying the slick finger he had just buried inside her against her lips. “Look how drenched you are for me.” And only me, he adds silently as he dives back to attack her mouth, picking her up when he did so. He maneuvers them expertly into his bedroom, setting her down with care on the bed and undresses her reverently. Lucien shrugs off his turtleneck and takes a moment to admire the sight of her naked body, a stark contrast against the black sheets. “Look at you,” he sighs as he settles between her legs. “Look at how perfect you are.” Her entire body flushes the prettiest shade of pink and she averts her eyes. “Don’t hide from me,” Lucien chides as he kisses a trail up her thigh, across her stomach, between the valley of her breasts, up, up, and up until he comes to a stop in front of her lips. She sucks in a shaky breath and holds it as he watches her, violet eyes nearly black. “Do you trust me?” His question is electrifying, causing the blood in her veins to heat up. She nods slowly.
Much too trusting, Lucien thinks, if only she knew…
He pushes these thoughts away and presses a quick kiss against her lips before undoing his belt. Before she could ask what he’s doing, she feels warm leather wrap around her wrists. “Lucien…” Her hands are bound with his belt and he pulls her arms over her head.
“I’ll make you feel good, kitten,” he promises as he trails fiery kisses across her collarbone. “Like no one else ever did,” his words are muffled by her skin. He presses open-mouthed kisses on her chest, and she inhales. Lucien smiles as he slowly takes one of her breasts into his mouth, tongue running circles around the nipple. He makes a noise of approval when it receives sufficient stimulation. Lucien descends upon her other breast and she moans breathily. “You sound so nice,” he murmurs, voice muffled by her breast as he teases the sensitive skin, and it pebbles under his touch. He moves downward, tongue washing a lazy stripe across her belly and she shudders. “I’ve thought about this all night,” Lucien whispers when he reaches her inner thighs. “Actually I’ve thought about this for many nights. But particularly tonight,” he laps close to her heat and her breaths hitch. “I’ve thought about the way you would taste; how would you look when you’re in the throes of pleasure, pleasure that I have given you.” He doesn’t give her time to react to his words before he buries his head between her legs
“Lucien!” The sudden movement makes her jerk in surprise, but the belt prevents her from releasing her arms. Lucien holds her down as he pushes his tongue into her, and she moans helplessly.
“You taste absolutely divine, kitten,” his low voice is electrifying and sends sparks throughout her entire body. “Just like the way I imagined.”
She bucks into his mouth and he growls approvingly, fingers digging into her hips. His tongue delves faster, and her moans get steadily louder. “Lu-please, please.” She’s begging and Lucien doesn’t hesitate to suck at her swollen clit with relish.
Lucien works his tongue sinfully and she’s positively keening, “I need you to come into my mouth, kitten,” he says as her thighs begin to shake, squeezing his head. “Come on.”
He nips at her clit and all of a sudden, she’s coming hard, Lucien’s name spilling out in a broken cry from her lips. Lucien licks her quivering slit obscenely as she turns into a trembling mess.
“Beautiful,” Lucien breathes. He doesn’t give her time to relax before he’s sliding two tapered fingers into her wet folds, tongue lapping lazily at her sensitive nub.
“Lucien-ah!” She arches off the bed as he furiously pumps his fingers in and out of her. Her wrists strain against their bindings only to struggle helplessly with nowhere to go.
“I have to say, this is better than my imagination,” Lucien’s voice is deep, seductive, and lazy even.
“Lucien!” She whimpers and her walls clench on his fingers.
“You want to come?” Lucien tongues her clit, “Then come for me, beautiful girl.”
As if his command was a spell, Lucien watches, enraptured as she falls apart again, her fluttering walls clenching and unclenching his fingers. Her eyes rolling back in pleasure, her body arches only to fall back down onto the sheets. Lucien’s name is the only thing on her lips as she pants, dazed and quivering.
He quickly sheds his pants and crawls back to her, taking the incoherent girl in his arms. “You’re perfect,” he whispers before flipping her onto her stomach. “You’re perfect in every way.” He cages her in with his body and presses soft kisses along her shoulders. “Beautiful. I am forever awed by you,” He punctuates every word with a kiss.
She feels his throbbing length at her backside, and she whimpers, “Lu-Lucien…”
“Tell me you want me, kitten, tell me you want only me.” Lucien whispers into her as he hooks an arm under her stomach and holds her upright against him.
“I…want only you,” she gasps, hips unconsciously grinding against his cock and Lucien hisses.
“Good,” Lucien sounds pleased, “You don’t want to make me jealous again, kitten.”
That was the warning she receives before Lucien sheathes himself fully in her wet folds and she moans lowly, arching into Lucien’s chest.
“God…” Lucien bites back a curse as he begins to move, “You feel so good.”
She whimpers at the praise, hips struggling to keep pace with Lucien’s thrusts. “Lucien…Lucien…”
“Let it out, kitten,” Lucien growls into her ear as his other hand reaches between her legs, “Let me know who’s making you feel this good, who’s fucking you like this.” Every savage roll of his hips accompanies every word.
“Lucien!” She cries out, knowing that every thrust brings her closer to destruction.
“That’s right,” He hisses as he laps at her pressure point, “Only I can make you feel this good.”
The girl is sobbing and nodding deliriously as Lucien rams into her. “Yes-yes… only you… Lucien…” She’s chanting incoherently. “Please, please,” she doesn’t even know what she is begging for at this point.
Lucien pinches her swollen nub and suddenly the coil in her stomach springs free. She’s crying as she comes, her orgasm ripping through her body in pure pleasure. She falls against Lucien’s chest, the only thing keeping her upright was Lucien’s arm around her waist. “Beautiful,” Lucien whispers as he sits back, taking her with him. “You have no idea how beautiful you look right now, undone because of me.” He leans back and spins the boneless girl to face him. “You’re absolutely perfect, beautiful butterfly,” He murmurs reverently. “You’re mine. Mine alone.”
She only nods as her chest heaves. “Y-yours…” she chokes out.
Lucien rearranges her legs, so she was straddling him and pulls her tied hands to rest on his shoulders. Without warning, he grabs her hips and slips his cock within her folds again. A sharp cry escapes from her as he brings her hips down on his.
“Lucien… please,” she’s moaning as he repeatedly thrusts upward into her, fucking hiccupping sobs from her.
“Come for me, kitten,” he growls as he holds her limp body against his chest. She’s too far gone to respond and shakes her head weakly as her body trembles from Lucien’s merciless onslaught. “You can do it,” he grits out, “Come for me. Only me.”
“Lu…” she chokes out, unable to form complete words. “Please,” The plea falls on deaf ears as Lucien relentlessly impales her on his cock. “I can’t…” Her words end with a broken sob.
“You can,” Lucien hisses as she clenches deliciously around his cock. “You’re doing so well, taking my cock like this…” He whispers praises as he continues to abuse her oversensitive bundle of nerves. “Won’t you come for me, butterfly? I want to feel you coming on my cock.” Lucien’s fond voice belies the filthy words.
“Lucien…Lucien…” she babbles his name in incomprehensible moans, head lolling to the side. Lucien follows her head and captures her gasping mouth in a heated kiss.
“Come for me, butterfly. Come. For. Me.”
And suddenly her body seizes before she trembles violently, the full force of her orgasm tipping her into Lucien’s chest as she twitches from the sheer pleasure coursing through her body. Lucien languidly fucks her through her orgasm as he presses kisses into her temple. Gasping, she struggles for breath, utterly boneless.
“You did such a good job,” Lucien groans into her hair as his hips slowly comes to a stop. He sits up and gently flips them so she’s on her back. Lucien removes the belt binding her wrists together. “You…are so beautiful…” he whispers as he leans down to press his lips everywhere he can reach. Lucien cups her face carefully, as if afraid she’d break, his thumbs swiping across her tearstained cheeks. “You are entirely perfect…So kind…So caring…You leave me in absolute awe.” The praises rain down like his kisses.
Shakily, she opens her eyes as Lucien’s words register themselves slowly in her dazed mind. He watches her, a look of unmistakable tenderness is on his face. “Lu…Lucien…” she pants as she reaches her freed wrists towards him. He leans in closer so she can wrap her arms around his neck.
“Do you know why I was away for all these weeks?” Lucien murmurs as she tries to kiss him sloppily. She mouths aimlessly at his chin, his neck and Lucien continues. “It was because I was scared and overwhelmed of my feelings for you…”
The hushed confession bade her pause, her eyes widening. “Lucien…” she whispers shakily and raises a hand to cup his face.
Lucien nuzzles into her touch, pressing soft kisses to her fingertips. “I’m…not a good man,” he says haltingly, and she opens her mouth to object, but Lucien shakes his head at her. “I’ve never pretended to be a good man in the first place…I didn’t have…good intentions….I don’t deserve you…”
“Stop,” she says, and Lucien closes his eyes, sighing. “Lucien. Stop.”
“You’re much too trusting,” Lucien murmurs and there is a touch of self-deprecation.
“Don’t say that again,” she implores, “You know how I feel about you. You know I made my choice.”
There is a light chuckle as Lucien opens his eyes again and she is floored by the infinite amount of love that pools in those violet irises. “You didn’t let me finish,” Lucien smiles, reaching up to caress her hair. “I may not be a good man, but what I feel for you…is absolutely sincere. That is something you can count on.” He says those words with finality, leaving no room for argument.
“Lucien…” she whispers and her eyes are teary again. He presses his forehead against hers, inhaling her scent.
“I’m sorry I got carried away…The thought of someone else having you…the thought of you looking at someone else…” Lucien’s voice drops off apologetically.
It’s her turn to shake her head as she embraces him tighter. “Lucien…I’m yours…I’m all yours…”
Lucien’s voice is hoarse with emotion as he speaks, pressing her into the mattress gently, “Then allow me to have you, to love you…”
“Absolutely,” She whispers against his lips and he begins to move, their fingers interlacing with each other as he sets a slow pace.
With every thrust he drives into her, she feels the amount of Lucien’s love for her. With every kiss he gasps against her lips, she knows that the kisses were cementing Lucien’s love, sealing his love deep within every inch of her, a secret branding that only the two of them know.
She comes first with Lucien’s name leaving her lips and she holds onto Lucien as he pants. His hips stutter to a stop as he gasps her name, spilling heat deep within her.
“I love you…I love you…” She murmurs when Lucien slumps forward into her, panting into her neck.
He shakily reaches for her as he rolls onto his back, taking a moment to catch his breath. And when he speaks, his voice is full of raw and pure emotion.
“I know I don’t deserve you…I’m not going to be any greedier and ask for forever, but…can I trouble you to stay with me at least a little longer?”

Humans are Space Orcs, “My Beautiful Sun.”
And end to another arc. And yes I know I am better at writing angst than fluff, so if you guys want some fluff, I am going to need some recommendations or ideas . I hope you like it and I hope you have a great Thursday!
The space above fiery A136 was quiet, a marble of glass hung in a vacuum of darkness. Fire licked silently across the planet’s surface as rain clouds gathered along the border of light and dark.
The star sone with increased intensity, white hot through the darkness. A myriad of satellites, space stations and the occasional abandoned mining ship orbited the planet systems of light blinking in the darkness.
One of these ships, a luxury civilian transport was on the bright side of its orbit, silhouetted against the fiery star=, the lines of white where the sun hit and pools of black where it did not, making a sharp contrast upon the face of the ship between light and dark.
It seemed a peaceful thing, hanging there in the darkness unsuspecting of thwart was to come.
ON the far edge of the planet’s orbit, there was a sudden whirling and a sharp flash of light as another ship appeared from the darkness.
It was hulking, massive, and painted black against the stars, only its blue highlight strips gave any indication there was a ship there at al. She crawled from the darkness stealthily slithering through the starry expanse until her shadow bore down on the unsuspecting ship.
***
Fiery starlight spilled in through the front window, tinted just enough that they were not completely blinded by its awful magnitude. A figure stood against the burning light, unmoving, arms crossed over his chest.
On his shoulder there sat a smaller figure all colorful fluff and impossibly large eyes.
“Lord Avex….”
“Yes, Admiral.”
Deploy the grapples… and don’t bother to be gentle about it.
***
Sunny sagged against her chains, her legs dumbed from the increased drugs. The dosage they had given her far outweigh any of the other doses that had come before, insuring that she would not move during the procedure. As limp as she was, she worried about her joints dislocating, as her shoulders were the only thing holding her up.
“Hold it steady.” The man ordered, and she could feel the cool, clammy tough of the man’s hand on her lower left arm as the last bit of her forearm carapace was stripped away. The cold was immediate and unpleasant, and the feel of the air against her bare skin made her want to scratch it off. It was a horrible sensation that she detested immediately.
Looking down at her arm, the only thing left there was the grey, gore stained skin cut with abrasions and pale from never having seen the light . The  sight made her sick, as hideous as it was, and she used the last of her strength to turn her head away.
The man held up what was left of the carapace, “Ah, that should be enough for three vials, don’t you think? He walked across the room, and Sunny watched in hopeless anger as he fed her shining armor into the machine, grinding it into powder right there before her eyes. From there it dripped down into three bottles, and held them up to the light, “A little less than I thought we would get, But it should be enough.”
He walked back over the the fancy woman and handed her the vials, which she looked down at with distaste.”
“Is something wrong ma’am.”
She turned to look up at him as if that had been a stupid question, “Not as much as you were expecting? That sounds like you are short changing me. When I came here for three vials.I wanted three vials of the promised size, not a little less than what we were hoping for.”
The man held up his hands in a defensive way, “Ok ok, my apologies. We will get you some more.”
He turned to look at Sunny, and she knew what was coming next.
The circular saw blade began to spin slowly as his partner held it at the ready, lowering his goggles down over his face.
And then the ship jolted violentl.
The man pitched forward, nearly imbedding the circular saw tool in his own face, but catching himself at the last minute. The fancy woman keeled over backwards and hit the floor hard as her shoes unbalanced her, and the third man slammed sideways into the chains, releasing the mechanism that held her up, and causing her to fall to the floor. She didn’t really feel much when she hit, she hadn’t been all that high up anyway.
Out of all of them, her descent to the floor had been the least violent.
One of the men stood, “What the hell was that!”
The massive clatter of metal, was accompanied by the groaning of the ships hull which deflected and popped against the weight of something. Sirens began to go off overhead as the two men leaped to their feet, while the fancy woman struggled just to make it to her knees.
One of them raced over to the coms and slammed their fist against it, “What’s going on up there.”
There was no answer for a long moment before, “We are being boarded, sir!” The voice was frantic, and on the other end of the line Sunny could hear more metallic screeching.
The ship continued to vibrate and scream as the group of men staggered their way across the floor.
Sunny tried to lift her head, but didn’t have the strength.
Her mind moved slowly.
Being boarded.
Could it be?
But no…. That was too much to hope for…. Wasn’t it?
Next to her the other Drev shifted and lifted their heads.
The man pressed the comm again, “Someone do SOMETHING.”
“We can’t, sir they have shielding.”
“Than get rid of their shielding!”
The man on the other end of the line went quiet, “We aren’t going to win this one boss.
“Get the escape pods ready then.” She snarled.
“I can’t sir, its a magnetic grapple field, so nothing is getting out of this.
 THe man howled in frustration.
There was a sharp thud on the outside.
“How could they even get in?” one of the men wondered, “There is no outside access to the airlock.”
Just then another voice came over the line, “Sir, sir something has taken over out internal computer systems…. I I don’t know what it is but I….”
There was a loud THUD from somewhere below them.
“The airlock!” someone yelled
And that was when Sunny began to laugh. It was so startling, that the entire room went quiet as they turned to look at her. She wasn’t really amused, but there was a part of her, one that was very smug about what she was sure was soon to happen.
“What are you laughing about, scarab.”
She continued to laugh for a long moment, “You’re fucked.”
“What is she talking about.” The woman demanded.
Sunny laughed again, “I know whose ship that is.”
More laughter
The men looked concerned. One of them pointed the circular saw blade at her, “Tell us!”
She giggled manically, “That’s the Omen.”
“What do you mean the Omen.” The man said nervously, shuffling his feet, “I mean you dim bastard THE omen. The pride of the UNSC fleet…. Captained b Admiral vir and a crew of a thousand men and aliens. Celzex weapons, Vrul shields…. And GRAVITY enabled grappling fields.” She began to laugh again.
“He’s coming…. Hes coming.”
Her manic laughter had clearly unsettled then, and her warning made it all the worse.
“Someone…..I, give me the damn blowtorch.”
Once given his prize, he thrust it at one of the other men and pointed towards the door. Outside Sunny was just beginning to hear the sounds of distant carnage, “Weld it shut!”
WHen the man didn’t move at first he nearly went ballistic, “DO IT NOW.”
Sunny began to laugh again.
The man still holding the saw blade turned to look at her, viciously kicking her in the side, “Shut up scarab.”
The man at the door was having a tough time getting the idea to work, and with everyone screaming at  him and his hands shaking, it was doing no real good.
That was probably why the door didn’t last more than a few microseconds. With a loud screech and thunderous bang the door was ripped off its tracks. The six inch thick metal door, not just dented open or blown inward, but kicked out of its brackets and completely detached from the wall all together, with such a powerful force, it slammed into the first man and sent him back gnarly three feet, slamming into the floor, unmoving.
When the sparks settled, and the room quiet, Sunny heard the hydraulic whirr and hiss as two feet clattered against the floor.
Smoke from out in the hallway filtered in through the floor as the figure stood at the door.
The first human, the one at the intercom, raced forward, a steel pipe having appeared in his hands some minutes ago. He swung it at the newcomers head, but it was useless, he cot the steel pipe with the queal of metal against metal, forearm to pipe, and then ripped it backwards out of the man’s hands , sending him flailing to the floor.
The second man came at him with the only weapon left available: the whirring circular saw.
He caught that too on the metal of the exo skeleton and then droe it hard downward, sending the circular saw blade cutting right into the man’s foot and sticking him to the floor. The man screamed long and loud, but his attacker did not heed him, spinning once with a backhanded swing that sent the pipe careening into the other man’s head, with a violent THWACK.
The second man wrenched the saw blade from his foot with a roar of pain, but it was knocked aside and went clattering across the floor as he was punched in the sternum.
There was a sharp crunch as he went staggering backwards and hit the floor very still.
Behind him, a group of other figures poured into the room.
One figure, big and red, grabbed two humans by the backs of their coats and threw them into the nearby wall with a sharp clatter.
The original figure knelt on the floor fist drawn back, ready to send his fist through the man’s head.
“ADAM! HELP HER!”
His fist stopped and grew still. For a moment the man below him looked relieved, but with a sharp blow to the face he was knocked unconscious.
Adam stood, blurry in her vision as he raced over to her side.
She heard the soft hissing of the Iron eye suit as he knelt next to her.
Strong hands and warm arms grasped around her chest and middle, hauling her partially upright where her head leaned against his chest. He held her tight, tight enough that it should have hurt but she didn’t care.
“Sunny…. Sunny can you hear me?”
It echoed around and around inside her head.
Carnage nearly drowned him out.
A hand pressed against her cheek, “Sunny, Sunny please say something.”
Her head lolled against his chest as the light overhead faded in and out…
Her body, tense from a month of perpetual fear and anger slowly relaxed and she felt her body sliding downward before he caught her, holding her upright to sag against him.
For the first time in over a month, she was safe.
Her mind knew it.
And her body knew it.
So, it shut her off, allowed her some peace, in the arms of a person who wasn’t about to let anything more happen to her.
***
She didn’t feel the movement, wasn’t aware of the strong arms that carried her from the ship all on his own, wasn’t aware of the hushed voices and the quiet whispering. Wasn’t aware of the days that went by with her stillness and the waiting concern of those around her.
When she finally opened her eyes and awoke it was to soft beeping, and dim blue light. White curtains hung about her, over her head, and for a moment she wasn’t really sure where she was.
It wasn’t the sound at first but the sensations.
Something warm gripping her hand, and gripping it tight, and a soft caress over the skin of her exposed stomach, repeating circles, up the side down to the side and back.
She turned her head very slowly and groggily to the side.
At first she didn’t recognize the face of the man who sat next to her but as her slow brain caught up with her eyes she hummed in confusion and worry.
“Adam?”
The man lifted his head, turning to look at her. Scruffy, gaunt, and supporting about two weeks of growth on his chin and face, but when he smiled at her she knew for sure it was him, brighter than any light in this place. He rested a hand against the side of her face, “I…. i was worried…. You scared me.”
“Sorry” She muttered softly.
He brought his other hand up to the other side of her face leaning down to gently touch foreheads with her for a quiet moment, “I’m sorry I didn’t make it sooner.”
The pain in his eyes made her hurt just to watch and she shook her head, “An entire universe, and you still found me, considering you did it in a month is pretty impressive.”
He gave a weak smile. “If… If i had just been safer during the storm.”
She raised a hand, “Shh…. none of that.”
He trailed off and nodded sheepishly. He leaned forward, “I’m sorry, this… this isn’t about me…. How are you feeling?”
She shifted, and despite lethargy, she was at least able to move, “A bit…. Drugged.”
“Yeah, there were massive amount of paralysis in your system when we found you. Krill has been pulling the drugs out, but he says it may take a few weeks to get back to normal.”
Below her on the bed  She flex and unflexed her lower left hand. She wasn’t sure if she was brave enough to look, but she knew she had to. WHen she turned her head down she grew sick to her stomach. The hideous grey expanse of scarred up tissue and  disgusting pale skin. She turned her head away, but he caught her, hands to the side of her face again.
She let out a shaky breath
“Hey, hey, none of that…. Don’t even start.” One hand still on her cheek, he lowered the other and took her lower left hand in his, “This doesn’t change anything you hear me, nothing at all. Not about the way I feel, and certainly not about the way you should feel about  yourself ok….”
She struggled internally for a moment.
He squeezed her hand tighter, “No matter what, ok.:
She felt as he slid his hand down the inside of her wrist, resting his hand along the strange exposed skin of her forearm. It felt strange, unusual, tingly. It made her cringe thinking about touching it, but he didn’t flinch once, “Don’t you think for one minute that this makes you any less.” She stared into his face and he stared back with a conviction so strong she felt herself starting to believe.
His serious face was broken by a sudden smile, “Besides…. I…. I have something for you.”
The bright smile and excitement filtered over to her and she sat up against her pillows.
“I made it myself!” he announced with pleasure, pausing as he turned around with a box between his two hands.
“I….” He looked down a bit sheepishly, “Don’t laugh alright….. It was my first go but I… I wanted to make something….”
Sunny didn’t even have to see it to know she would love it anyway.
Slowly he handed to box over to her, and she lifted the lid.
Inside, was a polished metal vambrace made of shimmering blue metal flecked with little golden bits on the inside.
She stared.
“Do you like it…. I…. well I made it while you were sleeping,... i mean i would have stayed here if krill had let me, but he sort of forced me to leave and get some rest, of course I couldn’t sleep so I ended up down in your workshop instead, and I wasn’t really sure what to do, but I made this and I thought maybe it would help, and since I remembered that  there was a little bit of your dad’s carapace in my leg, I removed a little piece and used that inside the metal, and I’m sorry if that’s a bad thing or….” She gripped his hand to stop him from rambling.
“Can you, help me put it on.”
The relief on his face was so visible it was almost a sound, and he gently took the metal bracer from the box. He looked nervous as it snapped open and he situated her arm inside.
She had trouble looking at it, but his expression didn’t change once as his fingers brushed over the exposed skin.
The metal was cold against her arm.
He took a deep breath, and snapped the brase close with a sharp snap.
The strange feeling of the room was now gone, and she was left only with the slowly warming underside of the metal, and the beautiful glittering of the Crude metalwork inlaid with pieces of her father’s carapace.
“Does it fit?”
She lifted her arm and turned it this way and that, admiring the shine of the metal.
She looked up at him, “Not bad…. Not bad at all.”
He grinned, the relief still evident there. He pressed his forehead against hers for another quick moment before sitting back, “Now rest, or I’ll knock you out myself, you hear.”
She snorted but yawned, “I’d like to see you try.”
“If i can find one Drev in an entire universe, I’m pretty sure I could knock that same Drev unconscious, but whatever makes you feel better, Zhak, hijan chal.”
She closed her eyes.
And fell

“Ouch, woman don’t be so rude! You can’t just come in here and rip my band-aid off! I could’ve been naked.” Jensen scolds while you check on his wound again. “Do you honestly believe someone hired a killer?”
“All I can tell you is that the poor girl got killed fast, efficient, and the way I would’ve done it to not cause any pain or draw anyone’s attention toward me. Your wound is the same. The person attacking stabbed the part of your body not causing you to bleed out or hit an organ, sweetheart.”
“Jensen, or Jay, please. Outside you can use the codename but within these walls, inside my house, please call me by my name.” Nodding you put a new band-aid onto his wound.
“Fine, Jensen. Today plans are to keep you alive, not leave the house before we know it’s a fortress and for you to tell me about anyone hating you. From an angry ex-girlfriend to a maid you fired. Even a guy you pissed off at a bar.”
Jensen nervously chews on his lower lip, not believing he has to write a list of enemies.
“I’ll try to remember, but it’s going to be a brief list. I mean, everyone loves me…” Jensen tries to joke. “Sorry, I’ll try to take it seriously, but this feels so strange to me.”
“I know, Jensen. Let me order food and we can ask Jared, his wife Genevieve, and Clif to help us. Maybe you forgot someone, but they remember. Tomorrow, I want to talk to your other colleagues and people you know in Vancouver.” Again, Jensen nods, not knowing how to handle the situation.
“I need you to trust me, Jay. If you do not trust me, ask someone…” Jensen shakes his head, even grasps for your hand and you pat his shoulder.
“I won’t leave, okay. Let’s see what we can find out. My friend will come around later to check on the doors and windows. Don’t worry, he’s reliable and knows I will kill him if he messes up a job…”
Tumblr media
“Scott is done. I’ll say goodbye and we can have a look at your list. Jared and Clif will be here in an hour. Genevieve couldn’t make it as one of the kids is sick, but she made a list.”
Nodding Jensen rereads his list. A deep sigh leaves his lips fearing one of these people is the one wanting him dead.
While Jensen is distracted with his list your talk to Scott about the reason you called him. “I need a complete background check for everyone he worked, lived, or had an affair with. Clients tend to hide things from me.”
“Got it, boss. Great, you’re back.” Scott glances at Jensen who crosses out a name to write down another.
“He doesn’t look like someone hiding bodies at his attic, but I’ll try to dig anything out.” Smirking Scott shakes your hand seeing the look Jensen gives him. “I guess he likes you a bit too much…”
“Go and stop talking shit. Do your job and I’ll call you again.” The door slams shut behind you with a loud thud, making Jensen flinch. “Sorry. Finished with your list?”
“I got a make-up artist who got too handsy. A guy I yelled at as he poured his hot coffee over my pants. That hurt like a bitch.” Chuckling at Jensen’s watches you take the list out of his hands.
“A girl I promised to call after a one-night-stand five years ago. I tried to remember her phone number…”
“It’s fine. I don’t think she’s our number one priority. Who’s ‘the evil bitch’?” Jensen grunts even scrunch up his nose before he gets up to pace around the room.
“I was married. She is like a vamp when it comes to money. Always tries to suck more out of me…”
“I need more than ‘the evil bitch’, Jensen.” This time Jensen grins before he hands you a piece of paper with her name, address, and date of birth. “Jessica Calliope Cunningham. What a fucking name.”
Jensen snickers at your comment, relaxing for the first time since he got the call. “Can you tell me how the marriage ended? Infidelity? Fights?“
“Honestly, I got no clue. One day I believed we are happy; the next Jessica tells me she will move out. It was a strange time back then. According to rumors CW wanted to end our show. I had depts and my wife left me out of the blue.” Frown on your face you dial Scott's number to let him run a check on Jessica too.
“Do you think she has something to do with this? I mean, she was the one leaving me, not the other way around. Why should she want to see me dead?” Rubbing his chin Jensen glances at you talking to Scott. “Y/N?”
“I am not sure what the killer wants. If he wanted you dead, he would’ve ended the job. This doesn’t make sense right now.
There is girl, freaking out, carving your name into her skin. After she recovered at an asylum she gets killed. You get attacked but not killed, even tho, we know the guy could’ve easily killed you.
Then there is this message that you are next – but why not killing you during the first attack? He was there, had the knife in your body. A bit to the left and you would be dead…” Jensen shudders at your words.
“You can make a guy feel comfortable.”
“Sweetheart, I am trying to make sense out of this shitshow you call your life. No killer would’ve let you go, Jensen. If something looks like a horse, walks like a horse it sometimes is a dog…” Blinking at your words Jensen groans.
“This doesn’t make sense!” Throwing your hands up in surrender you nod.
“Exactly, Jensen. Nothing of this makes sense.”
“I need a drink or rather ten…”
“Same but I have to protect your ass so, no alcohol for you or me. Sit and let’s check the list. I would bet my ass on your ex-wife but let’s see if we can find someone better…”
Now a smirk appears on Jensen’s lips when he places the knife you lost onto the table.
“You know, if you lose this bet, your ass is mine?” Laughing you pat his head before you slap it. “Ouch, you shall protect not hurt me.”
“Behave, sweetheart. I am not your wet dream of a naughty bodyguard out of one of Dean’s porn. Now let’s check the list.” Jensen grins, you just admitted you watched his show.
“You watched it.” Sighing you try to change the topic but Jensen being the little shit he is gets up to poke your back. “I bet you like Dean…huh? Are you a Dean girl?”
“I am more the ‘I’ll kill you if you don’t stop to bug me with your show’ kind of girl, Jensen. Now sit over there, shut your mouth, and look pretty.” Still grinning Jensen sits onto the sofa opposite you.
“What do you like the most? My toughness, the car…my guns?”
“Your brother…” Not amused Jensen’s smirk fades. “He’s tall, smart, and knows when to shut his mouth. Oh-and I like the hair but don’t tell Jared or I’ll have to press him against the wall again.”
“I know you like Dean…” Smirk on your lips you try to not react to Jensen's words. “I’ll make you a Dean girl…or a Jensen girl.” Whispering the last words, he watches you check something on your phone. “Terminator…”
Tumblr media
“Jessica, Jessica... I think we have a winner…Jessica. Whoa, Genevieve, Jared, and Clif only came up with your ex-wife.” Jared huffs, pointing toward his phone.
“Look what she wrote about the attack. She faked compassion but didn’t call anyone to ask if he’s alright.”
“The words she used sound odd. I mean, it does sound as if he died, not got injured.” Humming Clif rereads Jessica’s tweet.
“You’re right. Sounds like an obituary to me, Y/N. Fishy, to say the least.” Jensen doesn’t want to hear anything else, tries to forget everything that happened but the memories of the attack will still haunt him.
“I think, I’ll have a girl’s talk with her soon. That woman knows something, I can feel it. Scott is on it. If she’s hiding anything, he’ll bring it to light. For now, all we can do is to keep Jensen safe.” Jared nods silently, worried about his friend.
“We are on hiatus soon. One more week, a party, and then it’s over for summer break. Maybe it’s for the best to go back to Texas?” Hopefully, Jensen looks at you, but you shake your head.
“Whoever is after you, Jensen. He’ll not disappear only as you change your location. That man will come and try it again. I just can’t understand why he didn’t finish the job when he had the chance to.” Jensen rubs his knees nervously, glancing at you now and then while you reread the lists.
“He…that man, he said something.” Your head snaps upward when Jensen clears his throat. “I didn’t tell anyone, but he whispered something in my ear while he pushed the knife into my body.”
“Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Jensen, for fuck’s sake! Maybe this could be a breakthrough.” Angrily jumping up you pace around Jensen. “I hate if clients do shit like that. How shall I protect you, Jay? I can’t keep you safe if you lie to me.”
“I’m sorry, it was just…embarrassing. I felt weak and what he said scared me as it was partially true.” Jensen grumbles and you place one hand onto his shoulder.
“Just tell me…us…”
“He said that I’ll always remember this moment and that, if he does his job right, I’ll prefer to end my life than to live in the misery he will bring over me.” Jensen’s voice trembles when you squeeze his shoulder tightly. “He said something else...guardian angel and then he was gone...”
“That guy wanted you to commit suicide?” Jared blinks a few times. “That’s ridiculous, Jay. Why should he attack you only to force you to kill yourself?”
“Fuck…I need to…give me a minute…” Heart racing a mile in a minute, head-spinning you leave the house to take deep breaths. “This can’t be…impossible…”
“Something wrong? Y/N? What’s going on?” Clif watches you pant heavily, barely able to control your breathing. “Y/N! You are scaring me.”
“It’s impossible, Clif. He said my codename to Jensen. It’s his modus operandi but this can’t be. He can’t be here…I…I killed him…”

“I didn’t say kill the damn boy!!”
“You said to break the bones in his body---”
Sakharine aggressively shoved Allan against the wall of the cabin by the front of his long coat. “You simple minded---” he spat, “there’s a difference!! I still want him alive!! You think I can get a scroll from a dead wretched little brat??”
The man in red let go, trying to remain calm and adjusting his own jacket, still with a glint of fury in his eyes as he looked at the other man. He sighed exasperatedly, briefly glancing away. “Did you manage to get him to say anything important?” he asked, a rigid firmness in his voice.
Tom, standing behind Sakharine, exchanged nervous looks with Allan.
“Well??” Sakharine angrily insisted, looking very expectantly at both of them.
There was a small silence. “Nothing, boss.”
He looked at both of them like they’d just lost their entire minds. Not that he didn’t always think that, but this was baffling enough as it is for even these two.
“What do you mean, nothing?”
Another silence.
“He said nothing.”
“You beat him within an inch of his damn life and he said NOTHING??”
Sakharine was more infuriated than ever, mainly showing it in his eyes, before his voice leapt up louder and more aggressively this time. Allan and Tom practically jumped out of their own skin at his raised voice before trying to stammer out a reply. Predictably, they were cut short.
“I’ve had grown men break before they’ve hardly had a finger laid on them but you couldn’t even get a teenage boy to crack??”
Sakharine wondered who he had more problems with; his idiotic crew who couldn’t get answers from a literal boy to the little brat himself. He didn’t understand how such a young person would not give in despite the physical suffering he was put through. What had this ginger brat been up to that made him that defiant to remain quiet through that?
If the simple minded crew couldn’t get an answer out of him, he’d do it himself. He couldn’t refuse to say anything forever.
They were interrupted by a noise outside the door, followed by a low growl and barking. How in god’s name had that stupid mutt of the boy’s manage to get onto the damn ship??
The door swung open to reveal one of the crewmates, the small struggling bundle of white fur snapping at him with the fur of his neck in his right hand. “Found this mangy dog looking around, boss,” he remarked snidely, trying to avoid being bitten, “must have been searching for its young master.”
Before anything else happened, Snowy managed to wriggle free, landing on all fours with a thud, baring his teeth and barking ferociously at the people that surrounded him. Sakharine was about to bat the damn dog with his cane to get it to shut up before it stopped, bounding over to the metal cage on the other side of the cabin.
Sakharine narrowed his eyes at the sudden change in the behaviour of that dog. It had gotten all the way here and the first chance it got, it had leapt straight towards the boy, a curled up bruised and bloodied figure. It whined, pawing through the bars, standing on its hind legs to get him to wake up. Clearly distressed, it eventually poked its head through, pulling on the boy’s blue jumper to get him to respond.
“What on earth---” Allan made to say, taking a step forward before his path was blocked by Sakharine’s cane who was fixated on the dog’s behaviour around the boy. There seemed a particular thought running through Sakharine’s mind as the dog desperately tried to get his owner to wake up. A noticeable shift in the latter’s movement despite his injuries caught his attention.
“Snowy...?” It was quiet and cracked, but audible. The crewmates observed a more malicious glint in their boss’ eyes almost as if to know what he had in mind. It didn’t help also observing the particular sickly, self satisfied grin that formed soon after on his face at this vocalisation.
Perfect.
Not looking back, he took the cane from in front of Allan. “I’ll handle this,” he remarked, “unlike you lot.”
He strode forward towards the dog, obviously named Snowy, who turned to him defensively, growling viciously under its breath. “Oh for god’s sake,” he muttered, batting at the dog with his cane, “will you shut up---”
He finally kicked it and it responded with a yelp, managing to tumble over into the metal cage. “Finally, you dirty little mutt,” he dryly remarked and stepped in, slamming the door with a loud clang behind him.
Tintin, the boy, flinched in surprise and managed to lift his head, displaying the mess that had been made of his face. Sakharine wasn’t one for hands on work - his henchman did that for him - so naturally he felt the physical inclination to recoil. Of course, despite the bruising along his cheekbones and the blood that had run down mainly from head wounds and especially a vivid dark purple bruise around his right eye, there was still a sense of defiance in his face.
Whether that was by the curl of his split lips upwards in an expression of disgust or fire that seemed to burn in those clear pupils of his, he could see it. He was almost endeared by it.
Almost. Unfortunately, it was an obstacle and he wasn’t about to be a victim of sentiment. Maybe what he was about to do next would make him see sense. Not like those traitorous crewmates back there managed to be of any help in that area.
Snowy almost darted forward but Sakharine was quicker this time, abruptly yanking the dog with a grip on the fur of his neck. He yelped again, but this time he was more whimpering than growling, flailing his legs. He turned down to look at Tintin, whose eyes seemed to burn with a new kind of anger but also remained cold, reading almost like a new level of fiery disdain specifically for what was happening to his dog.
Sakharine raised his eyebrows in a faux affable gesture. “Why don’t we try this again?” he asked, a sickening politeness in his words. Tintin merely glared at him.
“Put him down,” he stated through gritted teeth, a sneer across his bloodied lips.
Sakharine wanted to laugh. This felt like Marlinspike Hall again, but with more control over his side. This brat wouldn’t be able to walk away with an attitude like that this time.
“Perhaps you’re forgetting something,” he continued in a conversational manner, as if to ignore that rebellious tone in Tintin’s voice, “I still need to know what you’ve done with that scroll.”
“I said I don’t---”
Tintin was cut off by a vicious kick to his ribs and he practically choked out a scream, eyes widened from the unbearable pain. Not long ago he felt like he’d had one or two broken and the kick did enough to make the pain flare up, but he was not able to do much about it apart from a choked scream that tore itself from his throat.
Snowy was now throwing up more of a fuss, though quietened into whimpers as Sakharine singlehandedly ripped his sword from its holder, an agonised cry coming from Tintin as the blade was held to the dog’s throat.
“Don’t play games with me, you stupid boy,” he seethed, watching Tintin’s clear eyes appear to set alight with multiple emotions in the dimness of the lower decks, “you knew exactly what you spoke about earlier, so unless you want your dear dog you love so much to die, I suggest telling me where the scroll is.”
Tintin didn’t think he could get any angrier, or even show more of it with how much pain he was in. “You’re sick, you know that?” he spat, hints of distress clearly making themselves known with the shake in his voice and the shine of his eyes, “Don’t you even dare!”
Sakharine laughed, amused. “Only because I know how to get the job done, you insolent child,” he remarked, the blade glinting underneath the dog’s jaw, “so would you rather let your dog live compared to remaining secretive about scrolls that were none of your damn business in the first place?”
The sickly grin appeared back on his face, and Tintin couldn’t help but flick his eyes between the other man’s face, the blade and the black, pleading eyes of his beloved dog, Snowy. He wasn’t remotely in a position to argue, emotionally or physically. He wasn’t just a boy though, even though he knew he was always that despite everything that he’d done. He couldn’t possibly let this man get away like this; he just wanted a nice ship and he’d thrown himself face first into this mystery with the criminal dealings underpinning it all.
But he couldn’t bank on solving this mystery and catching criminals at the cost of his own dog. How much could come close to how much Snowy meant to him? Even if he wanted to figure out the means to stop these people. Not like he didn’t know that these kinds of people had many ways to play dirty. Of course they would.
Of course he would.
“It’s be a real shame to stain such lovely white fur...” Sakharine trailed off with faux sympathy in his voice, before the cracked voice of the boy spoke up, fervently.
“Stop!” he cried, feeling nausea in the pit of his stomach at the description, “just stop! Please, don’t!”
Sakharine stopped, moreso at the distress in the boy’s voice, however much he tried not to. Not like he had the strength, anyway. The shine in his eyes was very clear, as if something was going to fall from them. He was grinning now, contemptuously, self-satisfied, as if the mere idea of reducing what appeared to be a strong-willed boy almost to tears was enjoyable, in of itself.
“And why is that?” he asked, that grin not budging in the slightest.
“I...” Tintin started, hating himself for saying it, “I don’t have the scroll on me.” Evidently putting emphasis on that last part. “It’s still on the mainland, because it’s in my wallet that was stolen from me.”
Sakharine raised an eyebrow. That explains why the brat didn’t have it on him. He frowned; it was frustrating enough that this was the case without it being back where they started. But he appeared satisfied enough, pulling the sword away from the dog’s throat and dropped him as if was diseased. Predictably, the dog scampered over, now more concerned for the worse state his owner was in, licking him and whining in his face. The boy was more or less zoned out now, eyes bright with tears, a hand absentmindedly stroking the mutt’s head.
He looked down, patronisingly, though his voice remained clear to the crewmates outside. He could see anger and hurt boiling behind that deadened expression. “Never underestimate the influence of the bond between a boy and his dog,” he spoke, his voice once again sickeningly polite, “especially when he forgets to value the life of the animal over business that had nothing to do with him to begin with. Anyone can be influenced if you just do it right.” He glared over at his henchman, but didn’t say anything else.
He left the metal cage, putting his cane back together, the boy and dog barely flinching as metal hit metal. “It’s a real shame,” he said aloud, his thoughts wandering with a malicious undertone, “Killing that damn animal would’ve been frankly enjoyable.”
