I wanted to share another piece of American history and also queer history with you guys that I've been thinking about since, what I consider to be the vandalism of "Portrait of Ross in L.A", and also because it is relevant to our current polticial climate, where even the company I currently work for has publicly declared that they will no longer have diversity and inclusion programs

John S. Boskovich was an American homosexual man living in America during the AIDS epidemic of the 80s and 90s. He had a partner, Stephen Earabino. During the epidemic, Earabino contracted AIDS and eventually passed away in 1995.

This was during a time period where the AIDS crisis was being intentionally mismanaged as a direct attempt to "purge" queer people and make them socially unacceptable, and many families often hid the deaths of their queer family members for being AIDS-related out of shame, fear of public ridicule, and/or homophobia. The shifting of the blame of AIDS onto exclusively gay and bisexual men was so intentionally heavily prevalent that it lead to many deaths of heterosexuals, lesbians, and even the creation of a now famous poster by that read "Women Don't Get AIDS: They Just Die From It", which was also created as a plea to the CDC to address the crisis and EVERYONE who faced it

So, in that social and political context, after Stephen passed away, his family came to the flat where their son was living with his lover and completely cleaned out all the belongings in the apartment, erasing any evidence of Earabino and Boskovich's relationship, but also, leaving Boskovich with absolutely no possessions and nothing to remember his lover by except for a single box fan

Boskovich, in his grief, made this single electric box fan an art installation by encasing it in plexiglass with holes cut into it, protecting the fan, lionizing it, with the breeze coming through the gaps meant to symbolize his lover's breath and how this art installation, in a sense, keeps Stephen Earabino's memory alive. The name of the piece is "Electric Fan (Feel It Motherfuckers)" and it has been theorized that the "feel" refers to not only the breeze of the fan symbolizing his lover and memorializing him, in a sense giving him eternal life, but also for the viewer to "feel" the grief and anger of Boskovich losing his lover and the cruel aftermath that followed

Boskovich made this piece of artwork in 1997, and eventually passed away 9 years later in 2006 in his home at 49 years old of causes that were never fully disclosed, some theorizing that he committed suicide. His artwork now sits in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

This is another influential and emotional piece of history that goes to show just how extremely important it is to hang onto the truth that queer people and by extension any marginalized people have a right to exist. It shows the lengths to which lives are destroyed by the hatred and policies of those who revel in intentional cruelty and exerting their own authority for no other reason than hating those that do not share the same views as them. When we do not fight to hold onto our history, those who decide we do not need to be a part of it will fight hard to erase it completely and pretend that we were never even here in the first place, much like Stephen Earabino's family would have completely erased his existence without the voice of John Boskovich, or how Ross Laycroft and his struggle wouldn't have been known without him becoming memorialized by Felix Gonzales-Torres' sculpture intended as an act of love

We are here. We are alive. We will continue to make our voices heard and refuse to die in darkness. I will not be driven from my home country because of what is QUICKLY becoming an American fascist dictatorship.

We are all eternal in the memories of those who lives we touch and change. We are made stronger by the bonds we build with each other and our communities. We must never stop fighting for our right to exist.

We must never make it easier for them to erase us, not just from being alive, but from being recorded in history altogether

AU: Tim Drake's parents lived

If Tim's parents had lived, life for Tim might have looked like this:

Jack and Janet would have gotten divorced. Jack would have still married Dana, and Janet would have stayed single or started dating a woman (let me have my bisexual or lesbian Janet).

There would have been tension around Tim being Robin, but they would have eventually let him continue. They watched the spark slowly die from Tim's eyes during that time they forbade him from being Robin. It's scary letting him go out there, but once they saw him in his element, they knew they couldn't stop him. They want him to be happy even if it's not safe.

In fact, Janet makes it her sworn mission to protect him the way she knows how: Drake Industries. This cues the company transforming to be more supportive of social issues. They start funding more programs to ensure people have more options than crime (Janet hopes this limits the amount of people Tim has to face on patrol).

Jack takes Tim out to the shooting range. He wants to ensure Tim can protect himself even at the expense of someone else's life. After each session, he puts his hands on Tim's shoulder and asks him "Whats your number one priority?"

He won't let Tim leave until he answers, "Coming home."

Jack and Janet have both screamed themselves hoarse multiple times at Bruce for his "murder is always wrong" policy. Once, when Bruce was particularly obstinate, he kept insisting that there's always another way. Janet, who wants to make sure that Tim will do whatever needs to be done to return back to her safe, scathingly bit out, "You may be okay with burying your sons, but I refuse to."

They didn't talk for 3 months after that.

Bruce eventually apologized, and Janet did as well.

Although I enjoy a good "Jack Drake is a physically and mentally abusive asshole and deeply homophobic" fic as much as the next ex-Catholic lesbian, I have to admit that I have a way softer spot in my heart for "clueless blundering ass who makes everything worse" Jack Drake.

Maybe it's because my own parents were deeply homophobic in a very different way to others. If you asked them, they'd tell you they have no problem with queer people. They don't care what anyone does in the privacy of their own home, really! Therefore they're not homophobic! But they just don't think you have to make it your whole personality. You don't have to shove it in everyone's faces. And all these new labels for things, what's up with that? Isn't it enough for people to just be gay or straight?

So because I do be projecting, I have a soft spot in my heart for Tim coming out to Jack as bisexual, and Jack just sort of...short-circuiting, for a hot minute. "Well, I'll always love you, son." And Tim thinks that this went pretty well, actually. But Jack later is maybe telling Tim that there are ground rules for him and his dates. Can't bring boys back to the house, strict curfew, has to let Jack know where he is and with whom at all times. Jack doesn't kick Tim out or anything, or call him names, but it's uncomfortable living there now in a way that it wasn't before. Jack has a weird vibe about him when Tim talks about a boyfriend or a male crush. Shuts down the conversation really quickly and won't entertain it any longer. Jack starts being critical of Tim in ways that he wouldn't if he didn't know about his son's sexuality; he asks why Tim feels the need to have a bi pride flag in his room, or why he has to make this his defining characteristic now. And Jack never actually says the word "bisexual." It's always "this." How they just need to leave "this" alone for a while, they need to not make every conversation about "this."

Because Tim is such a person to let a person's good characteristics speak miles more than their bad ones, if they're close enough to him. He has plans in place if Batman goes rogue, but not for his own protection, never for himself. Always for everyone else's benefit. He can live with what happens to him if he's wrong. So of course he'd never call his dad a homophobe, that's not - his dad didn't kick him out. Doesn't hit him or call him names or say mean things to him. It hurts his feelings sometimes, but he takes worse than that from street thugs every night. It's not like he can't handle his dad being a little weird about things.

First things first it is so interesting to see Nora writing from not one but TWO new people's perspective. Jean's perspective is just devastating being inside his head is heartbreaking the constant fear and panic and how much of his energy is used on just pushing down every memory of what was done to him. His coping mechanisms are terrifying and i truly do hope by the end of book 2 he has a healthier way of dealing with it bc baby boy stop hurting yourself :( Every sentence was so painful to read. But also his resilience the entire time to get through it no matter what, god i fucking love him!!! He is a fighter.

Jeremy's perspective is sooooo refreshing. He is such a little sweetheart i could cry. The fact that he sends hand written letters and he's so caring and genuine but he can also be so stern. When he dropped that "i asked you a question" to Lucas fkehdjdfjdh OK SIR. I'M SAT. His relationship with the family butler is so endearing as well i need more background on that for sure! My only one criticism is that he didn't have enough pov chapters and i'm hoping we'll learn more in the second book of course because there's still so much about him and his (dysfunctional? toxic?) family dynamic that we don't know yet but also i'm greedy and i wanna know EVEYTHING about him !!!

Kevin and Jean are so just tragic it actually breaks my fucking heart like "you didn't have to slit my throat on the way out" JEAN??? and "promise me you won't try again. I can't lose you." KEVIN??? And the fact that Jean to this day is still keeping that promise. Also Jean's obvious but secret long term crush on Kevin the way it's subtly dropped every time Jean has to stamp down on his desire's and "temptations" GOD PLEASE I CAN'T STAND IT

Neil and Jean oh my God like where do i even start?? The guilt Jean feels at what happened to Neil in the Nest and him finally calling him by his name after Riko's death and telling him his game was good. And Neil seriously needs to give himself more credit for how much of a caring person he is because the way he indirectly told Jean that he thinks he is worth saving and didn't even hesitate before asking Stuart to send someone after That Guy after what Jean told him. Neil Josten the man that you are!!!

Jean's little sister Elodie what a beautiful name. Them being so close and him reading to her. The way he found out about her death jolted me differently. It was so awful and i'm so sorry Jean didn't get to see her grow up and meet her again.

Renee and Jean oh my god. Jean thinking she's beautiful (bitch me toooo) And the whole right person wrong time ugh i can't stand it. Him wearing her necklace all the time, enough that Jeremy always notices it. And unabashedly stealing her picture from the foxes lounge. Like he did not give a fuck. He said this one is mine. One good reason to stay alive being rainbows i'm gonna FKSJSKDHDH. Theirs would be such a soft love.

Speaking of soft loves Laila and Cat are EVERYTHINGGGG. God they are so cute with their little domestic life and their rich gay boy son who crashes on their couch with his cardboard cut out dog. That whole friendship dynamic is beautiful. Their fierce protectiveness and care over Jean as well and the patience they have with him even after the little kitchen incident. When Cat took Jean out for a drive on her motorcycle god that was such a heart warming moment and Jean helping them cook as well and becoming the girls' little sous chef it's so cute so endearing !!!

FINALLY FINALLY THE JEREJEAN DYNAMIC

Jeremy being the one who told Jean that Riko was dead i don't even know what to begin with THAT like hhhhhhh. Jeremy saying he'll wait as long as it takes until Jean speaks to him. JEREMY GIVING HIM A HUG AND JEAN CLUTCHING DESPERATELY TO HIS SHIRT FUUCUFHDHSJHSSUHDH and then the "will you help me?" When you gave life to a boy your heart was welded back together, he was the spitting image of your old heart. The same dark brown hair, the nose, the pouting bottom lips. He thinks he's looking into a mirror of the past, he sees him as a child. You could sense that your son was in trouble, you excuse yourself and start to look at the grounds for him. You walk upon your son and Oberyn mirroring each other, you wished that ground would swallow you up. Max looks at you and runs to your side, hiding himself behind you. 

"Maxwell, go wait for mother at the table," You said as you stepped closer to Oberyn, you waited for the footsteps to sound out of reach. The energy between the two you was high, you wanted to fall in his arms and feel his warmth.

You wanted to be back with him, but he wasn't yours to keep. He searched in your eyes for the answer to his unasked question. You couldn't bare to look at him a second longer. 

You turn yourself around and pulled back before you take the first step to walk away. "Is the child of my blood?" The tone of his voice seemed like he was begging. It seemed foreign as the question left his lips.

You kept silent because you couldn't trust yourself to be strong enough to not cry to him. "How did you not tell me this news?" another beg left his mouth, his hand still wrapped around your wrist. The heat from his skin seemed to blister your skin making you want to run away. 

"The hidden secret would have not brought you back to me. To bare myself to you once more was a pain I would not put myself through again," You didn't want to be right but your words were the truth for the time. He looked at you like you committed a crime in front of him. "You bounded yourself to another and my love for you is greater than ruining your chance at having heaven on earth." you choked on your words.

He saw how selfless you still were, how willing you were to put him before yourself still after a divorce and bearing his child. "You don't owe me or him anything. All he knows is that his father is dead," Your words washed over him and Oberyn wanted to give you the life deserved. To be kept and cared for but it will never happen again.

They're all completely normal well adjusted non-emotionally stunted children with their own passions and hobbies. Because I can't stop thinking about Sora raising the kids on her own in Syrup Village and they all have their little personalities and passions. And Sanji still loves to cook and is the sweetest thing that has ever existed. Honestly, he might not get his stubborn and strong personality from Zeff but he could most definitely get it from his brothers. 100%. If in this concept they act like normal siblings I can assure you they are arguing 24/7 (but they're very protective of Sanji because you will have to kill me before I give up my headcanon of the brothers actually loving Sanji a lot). So yadda yadda yadda he meets Usopp and they are best friends and they grow up together and they are boyfriends and the story is similar to the original except that there's no Zeff BUT Luffy does end up making these two idiots join. Except that they're boyfriends already. And the story doesn't change because they already look like boyfriends in canon.

But this isn't about them because I like women more!

Okay so Sora is the sweetest mother in the whole world but since she has to raise the kids on her own she also has to act tough sometimes and you know,,, It is a hard job when you have,,, 5 kids,,, Poor woman. But she loves her little angels SO much it's insane and they love her even MORE and they all help in their tiny little home in the village somehow. Tiny little family that is not so tiny because those are 5 kids. Girl,,, I just know Banchina would want to help her somehow. Usopp doesn't have that many friends and Banchina thinks it's a great idea to go visit Sora and the kids so Usopp has somebody to play with. And even if it's a bit hard because his personality clashes a lot with the brothers, he gets along the most with Sanji. Instant best friendism because Sanji looks so sweet and quiet and sensitive and Usopp goes full superhero mode on him. My pookies,,,

Honestly, Banchina is so real for falling for Sora right away. Because. You know. Have you seen Sora? I think Banchina admires her a lot because sometimes it's hard for her to raise Usopp on her own without Yasopp around and you're telling her Sora can do that same thing with 5 kids??? And Sora falls for Banchina too because. Again. Have you seen her??? And she is also so fun to be around and so so helpful!

Wouldn't it be extremely sweet but angsty if they started to fall in love, meeting even when the kids aren't around and doing chores together, but Sora feeling guilty because she thinks Banchina is actually married married to Yasopp? She doesn't know anything about the lavender marriage yet,,, And Banchina doesn't want to ask personal, intrusive things, so she doesn't know more than "They escaped from a bad place" about Sora and her kids. She guesses she doesn't want a romantic relationship now-- But she does!! Of course she does!!

Banchina is just,, So sweet to her and so so helpful and thoughtful. Sora isn't used to this much kindness in her life,, You have to keep in mind she basically got out of an abusive relationship and it's the first time somebody actually wants her for herself and not to use her. Banchina always wants to cook for her and help her with her groceries and look after the kids when Sora wants to take a nap. And I think Sora also would see her with Sanji cooking, stopping fights between the brothers and playing with them (also fixing their stuff bc I hc that Banchina knows her ways when it comes to like, mechanics and art and such), and talking for hours with Reiju and dancing with her. Sora is so in love,,, She has never felt like this before. She didn't even know she liked girls. But she doesn't want to make any sudden changes for the kids,, Again,, Or ruin what they have. So she stays quiet.

And Banchina loves painting, by the way. Obviously, because I say so (and bc I want Usopp to have a deeper reason to love art). So Banchina is always drawing Sora, at first absentmindedly, and later on she realizes the only thing that inspires her is Sora,,, She has always been looking for that. A true passion and stability and knowing she can trust somebody to stay and to offer her their heart so she can paint it. She's a bit intense when it comes to helping Sora, maybe, but she wants to be helpful! And Sora is always taking care of her too and her health!! Looking out for her and being oh so gentle and fun to be around. Sora is the sweetest but she's also a bit of a tease and her laugh is the cutest thing Banchina has ever heard. But yeah,,, Neither of them wants to confess even though they've almost kissed,,, A lot of times.

Okay,,, But wouldn't it be cute if Sanji and Usopp's crushes on each other started very early in their friendship and Sora and Banchina realized they have to be honest about their feelings thanks to their kids??? Because they both ask for advice from them about how to tell somebody you like them, and when they're both like "If you truly feel like it's meant to be you'll know... You need to follow your heart and be honest..." they know they have to finally be together together. They wouldn't tell their kids right away because they think they need to get used to more to this dynamic first and it's a big change. So they stay quiet and keep it to themselves. But, you know, Banchina and Usopp basically live with them now at this point so it's hard not to know.

Also,,, Can't stop thinking about Sora being a badass and knowing Judge is the most horrible person to ever exist BUT still having issues with relationships because of his fault? She still has this feeling of like, thinking she's worthless and needs to do more and more and more? And give give give? And Banchina helping her all the time and sharing the burden and seeing all the pretty things Judge found ugly in her,,,, It does wonders for her heart. And Banchina also realizes that she doesn't have to be alone and can share her passions and true feelings with somebody finally??? What if I cry.

Aghhhh. I absolutely adore this. The kids grow up and do their own things and Usopp and Sanji go with Luffy and they are all happy and there's no angst! And once they're alone they can be cottagecore middle-aged sapphics in their little village.

Seeing as I've decided to use him (and by extension his gang of misfits) as writing practice, I thought I should introduce my LDB, Iorek Dragonbane (he gave himself the surname because he thought it sounded Nordly and cool)!

tl;dr: he's a big dork who likes getting drunk, playing his lute/singing and loves his friends like a family; mess with any of them and he'll break your jaw.

Now the longer version:

He was born in Cyrodiil to an Imperial mother and Nord father, but never really formed a connection to the former's culture, or his mother herself to be honest. She was quite selfish, and only really paid any attention to him if she needed something from him. He and his father got on well though, and it was he who taught young Iorek to fight and hunt, and to play the lute.

When news reached them of the civil war in Skyrim, his parents conflicting opinions eventually drove them apart, and his father left one day, never to be seen again. It was presumed he went to join the Stormcloaks in his homeland. Iorek wrote to him a lot, but never received any replies. Convinced that his father was either dead or no longer interested in his son, Iorek left home to travel and hone his skills - his mother didn't seem to care what he did.

He travelled around Cyrodiil for a few years doing odd jobs and performing in the occasional tavern for some cash, but never really felt at home there, despite it being his birthplace. He remembered his father telling him of Skyrim's wonderous legends and towering mountains, and felt a pressing need to visit one day. When his lover at the time ran off with a fellow bard, who "probably sung a better song than me", he decided he was done with Cyrodiil and left for Skyrim.

He made it to Helgen and stopped at the inn one night for drinks and a bed, but then Alduin attacked and the rest is history.

He met each of his friends gradually as he explored Skyrim, and wondered why it had taken him so long to get there; he LOVED Skyrim and its culture, and even more so his group of friends. He's happy he left Cyrodiil's stuffy people behind forever, and feels honoured to take up the mantle of Dragonborn and protect his new home and family. He's still getting used to Nord culture and isn't quite a 'true Nord' yet and not sure if he ever will be, but for now, he's happy. And that's all that matters.

Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 Episode 11 Discussion

- Martin was me the entire episode, freaking the fuck out

- Eri vs Suletta is such a great fight. The two love each other, but their viewpoints and morals are on such opposite wavelengths. Eri, much like Suletta in the past, is doing everything for her mother because she wants her mom to be happy. The Eri we see is simply lines of code reconfigured into what could possibly be construed as a human being. She has Eri’s memories and feelings, but she hasn’t, can’t, grow up, unlike Suletta. Suletta loves her mom, she wants to be there for her, but she can’t accept killing people. She’s realized just how much heavy a life is and so she moves to protect it.

- Peil and the SAL have taken the mantle of final boss. If they really cared about punishing the Benerit Group, they would arrest the leaders, not shoot them with a giant fuck you laser while children are on board all while supporting the people who make nuclear child body doubles. The League is doing exactly what Delling did during the Vanadis incident, right down to the “I’ll take responsibility (but I really won’t)” shtick.

- However what’s interesting is how out of place Elan seems to be. He isn’t sitting down with the Peil ladies, he’s standing off in the corner, staring at his own reflection, and I think this shows a lot of us got his character wrong. Elan is just another child the Peil ladies are taking advantage of. He only got where he was due to sheer luck that the AI picked him, if not, he probably would have either ended up as the other body doubles or dead and discarded. It’s common with abusive parents that they’ll choose a “golden child” and use that child to put down the others, and Elan seems to fit in that mold. I hope he breaks out just like El5n and creates his own life.

- God the Schwarzette is the best fucking Gundam. Between it and Calibarn, how are they ever going to challenge it in the future? It has space rave lasers, it’s sword is the GUND bits and it can become a wing, and it has bisexual lighting.

- Lauda is too good for every one of his haters. He’s been second string to Guel for his entire life, his very name “Lauda Neill” is just a reminder of how he’s a mistress’s child. But here he proudly proclaims himself as “Lauda Jeturk.” His feelings for his brother come from both admiration and self-worthlessness. He puts his entire identity into being Guel’s brother so when Guel falters, he does as well. He wants Guel to rely on him. He wants to be his equal. He put Guel on such a high pedestal because he was everything he wanted to be.

- My poor son Guel. He’s always loved his brother, no matter the fact that they come from different mothers, but as always he has trouble understanding others. Also, we get to see a far darker part of his psyche that most others might have missed. In his fight with Shaddiq, despite being stabbed, he managed to eject and save himself, but here he waits for death. Guel has been keeping himself moving with the idea that his family still needs him, but once Lauda seemingly rejects him, he loses all that energy. He hasn’t recovered from the trauma and pain he’s been through, he’s only simply masked it. But in that moment, he’s perfectly fine with dying because he believes it would be better for everyone

- But best girl Felsi says fuck that! She reminds Guel and Lauda that the world is so much bigger than them, and that there are people who still care about them. They can’t ignore their problems, they need to talk through it. Lauda’s insecurity and Guel’s suicidal nature and guilt, these are things that can’t be held within or else they’ll bubble over and end in tragedy. Felsi the hero says cut the bullshit, and I love her so much for it. I need Felsi merch right now

- El5n was another MVP of the episode. I’m surprised just how talented he is with a gun and shoot outs. Does he have experience, either from his past life or current one? And the fact that he didn’t hesitate to get the head shot off of Prospera says so much. He’s ruthless because he has a purpose. He ain’t letting anyone die unnecessarily, but he also recognizes when the doing needs done

- And Belmeria really stepped up as well. She’s spent the entire series running away from the consequences of her actions but here she finally stands up and protects the children who have been abused by the system she supported. Her diving to protect Miorine from getting shot was beautiful, and you can tell El5n really appreciated the gesture.

- Miorine is the best wife. That’s it, that’s the tweet

- Right when Eri was about to merc Miorine and co, something interrupted them, and I believe it was Notrette, Miorine’s mom. We never learned how Miorine’s mom died, so it’s possible she also got sucked up into the data storm and resides in Quiet Zero, and that’s why Delling was working on the project. She also added a failsafe so her daughter could shut it down, one that speaks words of love. Mother of the year

- The fact that Eri’s final act is to protect her sister and mother is so sad. She never had the chance to grow up, she’s forever stuck in stasis inside a giant hunk of metal. Quiet Zero offered the hope that she could finally escape and travel the world as herself, but it still wouldn’t give her herself back. However, Suletta can still live on, and so she valiantly protects her from the big laser, giving one final smile to her little sister. I hope she can finally rest in peace.

- But will Prospera allow that. She’s watched her daughter die twice now. Everything she worked for, all the lives that were sacrificed, they now all mean nothing. The world has rejected her once again. Whether she can accept it and become a better mother to Suletta is to be seen, but I don’t think she’ll follow that path.

Really hoping we get that second half so I can see the Peil girls get fucking incinerated. Also can we paint the Schwarzette red and give it to Guel? Double the points if it’s revealed he’s bisexual.

Miles (McLeach's son):

Miles might now be a much more calmer and patient adult... but as a kid, he was an absolute menace. Always loving to pull some pranks on his father and anybody else unfortunate in his close vicinity. He was mischievous and quite hyper too, climbing onto anything and anyone. Or breaking furniture by climbing on surfaces, lamps etc and knocking them down. He basically had near never-ending zoomies, lmao /j

Miles's second name is Ronnie. Though he only ever uses it as a name for his disguises, if he needs to hide his identity from the authorities.

Miles hates 'Mother's day'-holidays, though for a good reason. As he deeply dislikes his mother for various reasons. He hasn't had an easy childhood

Miles loves playing the guitar or singing sometimes (much like his father), even if he's not good at it.

Miles and Alice didn't get along well after they first met, and they still do bicker from time to time. Fighting or pranking each other a lot. Which causes people often to mistakenly think that they're siblings, when they're actually not. Though yeah, they still do act like they're siblings. Miles can be pretty protective over Alice and defends her from dangers if ever necessary, meanwhile Alice often helps him out too if ever needed. Despite seeming like rivals, they actually deeply care about each other.

Miles would probably be in his late 60's now in 2024 (as during RDU's events, he's 35).... yeah, terrifying, isn't it? My guy is so old, he's ancient- /j

Alice (McLeach's henchman / sort-of adoptive daughter):

Alice is a rude loudmouth, who cusses and curses a ton. She's the type of person, who will let her opinions be known and she doesn't respect the law. She's one heck of a fighter too, able to defend herself if ever necessary.

Alice loves 1980's music, especially 80's pop and rock! Her favorite bands are Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears.

Alice is terrible at cooking... when in all honesty, everybody in the McLeach household is terrible at cooking any foods. There's a kitchen fire at least once or twice a week. /j

Alice is bisexual, but prefers women.

Alice is skilled in shoplifting, pickpocketing and vandalism.

Alice is rather secretive when it comes to her past and she doesn't like talking about it, due to various reasons; one being that she's had a rough tragic past. And other being that she's actually a fugitive in another country, which she had to flee from some years ago before meeting McLeach.

One of Alice's favorite pastime hobbies is fixing old computers and other electronics. She often helps McLeach out gladly, whenever it comes to any mechanical work or modifying electronics.

Alice also likes to collect different kinds of knives, just for fun mainly.

Ophelia (Sykes's daughter):

Ophelia doesn't have many friends, in fact she's never really had any. She often spent time in various dinner parties etc held by her father's rich influential friends, but she never got along well with the other children there. She was teased in school, when she was little. But even after telling about it to her protective father; she was completely left alone by the bullies and teachers afterwards, but because of everyone becoming extremely afraid of both her and her father. Thus avoiding her altogether or acting cautious around her.

Ophelia used to wear ribbons on her hair nearly all the time in her childhood. And now she likes to have a typical big 1980's hairstyle, because she can <3

Ophelia can be quite charismatic. But not exactly a very sociable person, often preferring to spend time either alone or with her father only.

Ophelia loves her father's dogs. She spoils them rotten often with expensive meat or treats (much to her father's dismay), or takes them on walks. She's the type of person who would get the dogs those really itchy-looking dog sweaters for Christmas, lmao

Ophelia is good at playing the piano, playing the violin, playing tennis, dancing ballet, boxing and also acting. She had lots of hobbies as a kid and overall she had lots of after-school activities. She also had excellent grades in every school she attended.

Before she turned to the criminal lifestyle, she used to work as a secretary at a highly regarded unnamed company. She grew bored of the mundane office work though and eventually got laid off too, due to some issues within the company. Incredibly bitter by this, she decided to turn to life of crime, as she found it quite natural to herself. It just seemed much more fascinating and thrilling than boring paperworks.

Zachary (Rourke's son):

Zachary might look intimidating with his tall height (as he's around 190 centimeters tall, much like his father) and muscular large build. He's however a kind gentle guy, quite sensitive and a bit shy too.

Zachary is quite strong too, but has never been fond of fighting or combat. Much to his father's dismay though, as he then is a combative argumentative person. Meanwhile Zachary does everything to avoid arguments or conflict.

Zachary is a very artistic person, as he's always loved arts and painting. Drawing and doodling all sorts of things, and admiring the creative beauty in nearly everything. He enjoys things that are aesthetically pleasing to him and he often gets inspired easily by his surroundings.

Zachary is basically the total opposite personality than that of his father's, lmao. They're complete opposites, despite having similar appearances. Thus their relationship has never been exactly the best, but rather distant instead.

I feel like my headcanon skills have been tested recently with some of the characters being requested… Not that I mind, but I hope I’m doing a good job since I haven't dealt with or focused on some of these characters in a long time!

With that being said, here are my headcanons for Sergei Yablokov!

🏳️‍🌈 A sexuality headcanon

I can see Sergei being bisexual or pansexual. He doesn't strike me as someone who cares about his partner’s gender; instead, he focuses on his partner's personality and other qualities. Sometimes, he feels an attraction to one gender identity over the others, but that’s ultimately never been the deciding factor on whether he chooses to date someone.

Since joining the Russian mafia, Sergei has never had a serious relationship. He never had the time or ability to commit to someone that deeply, so most of his relationships were flings or short-lived. That doesn't mean he doesn't want a serious relationship. Sergei would love to have someone to be his other half and fill the void in his heart that he’s had for years. He wishes to one day find someone to love and be happy with and hopes it will happen sooner rather than later.

Sergei loves watching cat videos. Whether it be kittens or senior cats, he could spend hours watching them. His favourite ones are cat videos where they’re doing silly things and videos of them being cute.

Sergei never planned to have kids. Sure, he doesn't mind them when they’re someone else’s, but to be fully responsible for one? However, when Andrew came into his care as his foster son, Sergei knew he needed to overcome his fears for the boy who had lost so much. Sergei had known Andrew since before the boy was born, and while they were comfortable around each other, they’d never spent extended periods of time together. But through trial and error, the two created a makeshift family together. It wasn't easy, and Sergei knew there would be a lot of challenges to face, but he’s never been a man to back down from a difficult situation and won't abandon Andrew because of his fears of being a father.

Alright so backstory for him

He lived with his mom (sally) and step dad (Gabe) . His biological father left when he was rlly young and then his mom married his step dad.

So anyways percy learns abt his abilities rlly early on and Gabe thinks he's a demon or smth idk

Ofc sally doesn't, she loves her percy, but yk Gabe is Gabe and so she's forced to give him away.

And she ends up giving percy (who's like 9-11 at the time) to this lady who stopped by where they live one day and who said she takes care of kids like percy

So Sally obviously not wanting her son to get abused more by gabe allows her to take percy (spoilers, she never sees him again ;-;)

But anyways, percy is like one of the first children miss peregrine found so he had time to grow up some before they had to make the loop

On to how he gets along with the others

Olive and Claire love just abt everyone so ofc they love him like a brother as well <3

Bronwyn is vERY protective of him bc she, victor percy and Emma were the first ones that miss peregrine found (idk who she found first it just seems like they're a lil closer to miss P than some of the others)

Enoch and him don't rlly talk to much but they're nice to each other when they do talk
