This current playthrough, I considered letting Lydia live in the house with everyone else where it’s nice and warm and comfy, instead of guarding the exterior.

I can’t imagine his blood pressure will enjoy watching the LDB reading ANOTHER Elder Scroll.

Genuinely a curious question because this topic is kinda confusing to me; especially if I plan to write fics or something but, why is he jealous of Serana? I mean for the people who play Namira worshippers, vampires, werewolves, liches, or witches (etc) it feels kind of random. Or is this something you intend to change? Example rather than jealousy it's just blatant dislike, because you're both vampires...or a vampire, and any of the other weird people I listed.

I get why he would be jealous over a normal character, who sided with the Dawnguard and what not tho.

Taliesin's reactions are based off of keywords and conditions for him to recognize what he's looking at. Player playstyles such as being a witch or deadra worshiper doesn't have conditions for Taliesin to recognize. I would have to put dialogue for the player to tell him "I'm a witch" for a global variable to be listed for him. Which is a lot of work.

Werewolves can only be recognized when they're in werewolf form, but in human form would be through The Companions quest line.

Vampire's are a separate race and an easy condition for Taliesin to recognize. That's why his distaste for Vampires is so easy to see. There's a lot of work I need to put in for witches, necromancers, ect. In order for Taliesin to recognize.

In terms of Serana. She's just a red flag for him, especially over the course of Dawnguard. Considering how the player kills every vampire they meet but not Serana - an ancient vampire lord who hasn't fed over centuries and asks to be taken to a castle full of more vampires!

Dawnguard isn't going to be an easy DLC to write for Taliesin. It's at the very bottom of my to-do list.

okay a random horse appeared to me killing a bear with its hooves and i figured out its your horse. is peaches just a fun random encounter or is she For something

haha Peaches was added as a marker for the base of the shrine since a lot of people were having trouble finding where to encounter Taliesin.

She's free for grabs if you want a horse with a Thalmor saddle.

Skooma makes everything better.

Is there a reason why when we give Taliesin the health potion at the beginning his drinking animation has him holding a bottle of skooma? Was that just a fun detail you threw in to make yourself laugh or could you not use the health potion bottle because of clipping issues? (clipping through his hand when he grasped it, bottle floating in his fingers, ect)?

So fun fact; the idle animation for that is labeled "DrinkPotion". Even Karliah uses this animation when drinking her invisibility potion. It's a vanilla animation that uses a Skooma bottle.

The unfortunate part is that THAT's the only drinking animation that would make sense in the context of the situation, both for Taliesin and Karliah.

In case you missed it, a huge update is out! Link Before we get to it, I want to thank TieflingGrimoire who did the vast majority of work on this update. Please go show her some love and appreciation. Auri is just as much her mod as she is mine, at this point. The TL:DR of 2.0: -Auri has been moved to her own framework. This means she will no longer be compatible with framework mods like NFF. -Auri has received a facelift. Her default appearance is now a slightly modified version of Kadraeus Daughter of Valenwood. (Thank you SO much!) -Auri can now be asked to rest anywhere in the world. -New combat system, which allows Auri to use either daggers or a bow. No more punching dragons. -If you suffer from restartitis, you can now skip Auri's quest by reminding her that you already did it! -Singing on/off toggle. -Romance quest is now spaced out over time. Does not require sitting down to progress. -Extensive changes to Thistlefoot, hopefully removing many bugs and making him more stable. -Auri will now get 20 arrows after her scene with Elrindir at the Drunken Huntsman. -You now get the Lover's Comfort buff if you're in a relationship with her. -Romance quest now has markers. -Several new conversations and idles. About 70 new lines. -Much more. Details in changelog on main page.
