My favorite band will be in my city in 2 weeks and I am running out of time to figure out if I am physically able to go to a punk rock concert bc the last time I did I actually passed out and I’ve only gotten worse since then but it’s my favorite band

Objectively this is a horrible idea, I’ll have been at work all day, I have a doctors appointment and class the next morning, it’s an hour by public transit to get to the venue, and there’s a chance my cane gets damaged if I bring it. I struggle to stand for long periods of time and have a history of fainting. But. Tickets are $60 and I have no other events or anything this month so that’s doable. But I might fuck up my whole week to do it. And I’d be going alone.

But. It’s my life to fuck up. I think I’m going to do it

I have been so slow with writing lately! Between trying to get this Psych fic going mentally preparing for the Big Bang and just LIFE being a lot to deal with I haven't done much! but I have chipped away at my latest rwrb baby some so I'm gonna put a little more of the fic i shared for WIP Wednesday!

But Alex doesn’t let him. He sends him every easy recipe he can find, and all but begs him to try them all. (And if he has possibly lost his sense of taste from trying them regardless of how they turned out, Henry will never know.) Then one night Henry says he wants to make dinner, and Alex doesn’t hesitate to say he thinks it’s a great idea and he can’t wait to eat. However after a very long stress-filled, smoke-filled, and many many tears filled hour of Henry repeatedly insisting the meal was ruined and Alex repeatedly insisting the charred dish was still salvageable, they are left with a counter covered in take out boxes and Alex now seeing that this is more than Henry just wanting to learn to cook. Henry wants to learn to be independent. Once more unsuccessfully repeats in his head as he wraps his boyfriend up into his arms and tries his best to kiss and sweet talk crushed feelings better.
