so all you need to do right now is disappear.
HHHHAPPY ISATVERSARY EVERYONE. here’s redraws for every single battle cg in the game. 36 drawings this time around, with 11 of those being custom (though admittedly a good portion of those are edits). combined with the portrait redraws i made back in september, i’ve made 114 redraws for this project! jesus christ! just like those redraws, these are completely free to use!! as long as i’m credited and it’s not for commercial purposes, go wild!! do whatever you want!!!
no i didn’t make these for isat’s 1 year anniversary this is just wildly good timing.
i genuinely can’t fit all of these cgs in one post even with the 30 image limit on browser, but i’ll still try to fit Most of them below the cut (without making this post horrifically long), along with some notes that might be important 👍
okay! once again, i labeled all of the custom art as such in the drive(UPDATE. NNOT TRUE ANYMORE. reformatted file names to be easier to mod in auau. apologies!), but if you want a full list, the customs are hatless siffrin jackpot, bonnie jackpot, bonnie special attack, bigfrin attack, and a bunch of alts which are definitely not related to any projects i’ve been thinking about don’t worry about it. and out of those customs, only like. 3 of them are actually completely from scratch.
while i did my absolute best to keep the aspect ratios completely the same as the originals, there’s 3 exceptions that i just couldn’t get to work.
isabeau’s hair in his special attack cg wouldn’t fit in frame if i kept things completely accurate to the og, so i moved his cg down a bit. it shouldn’t cause any issues with modding or anything, it’ll just appear slightly lower than it does in game. alas…
isabeau’s sleeve and mirabelle’s hair made their jackpot sprites a little larger than the originals? i’m hoping this doesn’t have too much of an effect (since the jackpot sprites have inconsistent sizes) but i can’t test this myself unfortunately. aaa feel free to let me know on discord if any problems arise!!
i managed to fix these, so they aren’t going to cause problems now, but my original drawings for mirabelle and siffrin in the final attack scene were a pain in the ass to fix. mirabelle’s sprite was slightly too talk to fit in frame and siffrin’s hat whacked bonnie in the face while i was editing everyone together. i’m only mentioning this because it took like an hour and a half to fix them and finish the scene.
all that aside, these were a fucking BLAST to work on. apparently this ended up taking 57 hours over exactly 10 days. which is a little worrying if you do the math on that but somehow i have not burnt myself out. i will be doing enemies at some point!!! but probably not for a little bit. i think my friends will actually kill me if i don’t take a break.
once again, happy birthday isat. you’ve ruined my life and i wouldn’t have it any other way (silly).
also, on an actual serious note, this little timeloop game has genuinely changed my life for the better? you guys are probably sick of hearing it at this point (or maybe not, i don’t talk about myself That Much. i hope), but i was practically a ghost for about 2 years before joining this fandom. it’s a little surreal to suddenly have friends (plural!!!) and people who Care about me, or even know i exist, honestly. it’s weird!! in a good way!!!
i don’t think i would’ve ever come back to social media if this community wasn’t so welcoming. i’ve met a lot of really great people through this game!!! so, uh, thank you isat, i guess. here’s to another year.
#marshdoodles#isat#in stars and time#isat spoilers#also for full transparency. the sadness death redraw is effectively just a trace job. i’m not super happy with it because of thag#but i think i would be Killed if i tried to redo it. i dunno. maybe ill try to change it when i do sadnesses. maybe not.#besides that GOD im really happy with how these turned out#bigfrin was a last minute addition but i think he turned out fantastic#bonnie’s special attack isn’t my Favorite but i think it turned out pretty well considering the Struggle#gggod. trying to make a heavily foreshortened pose that still feels dynamic is really hard. how did id5 do this.#also don’t. worry about the Extra custom sprites that’re in there. i’m not planning anything.#happy isatversary everyone.#i blow away in the wind#isat redraw project

Three Times Buck Wanted to Sleep with You (and the One Time He Did) Pt 2
Description: Weeks after drunk texting him, you get a call and much more from a very high and very honest Buck.
Part 1
“Y/N, my favorite girl, how are you doing this fine day? Don’t tell Maddie I said you’re my favorite she’ll be upset.” Buck says, his voice weirdly hushed but also loud at the same time.
You pull the phone away from your ear, double checking the time and pinching yourself to make sure you’re not dreaming.
“Hi Buck, I’m doing good, how about you?” You ask, slightly suspicious.
“I’m seeing pollen right now, and I saw this cat on the street that reminded me of you, and I just had to call you, it was so cute.”
You huff a laugh, and lean back in your green faux velvet armchair, your next patient isn’t due to show up for another half an hour, you’ve got time to entertain whatever this is. “That’s so sweet, but what do you mean you’re seeing pollen, is the count really high or something?”
“No, no like I’m seeing it, right in front of my eyes, and I think I’m hearing it too.”
Okay now you’re a little concerned.
“Buck, where are you, aren’t you working today?” You ask carefully, already sending a text to Athena asking if she’s anywhere near the station.
“Some convention center, there’s a bunch of tiny beauty queens here, tiniest ladies I’ve ever seen. Why wanna hang out?”
“Are—are you out in the field right now?”
“Yeah, but you know you can always come by, you’re my girl, I always want to see you. Plus, Eddie and Hen are here too, they said you should come hang out.”
His girl, his girl, his girl. He’s going to kill you, always telling you that you’re his best friend, dodging all your sober and drunk attempts at seduction, only to turn around and do this.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to come to the scene of an active emergency, plus I’ve got a patient soon.” You tell him, pulling your phone away again to read Athena’s text.
Athena: Yeah, I’ve got the three of them in my sights, looks like they’ve been dosed with something.
“Aw boo, ditch the kid, he’ll survive a missed therapy appointment I missed a ton as a kid.” Buck says, and you can hear Eddie booing in the background, though you’re pretty sure he has no idea what’s going on.
Y/N: Dosed???? With what????
“Okay um we’re gonna circle back to that comment but Buck, are you high right now?” You stand and begin to pace.
Athena: We have to arrest them; think you can rein Buck in?
Y/N: I’ll try
“High on life, on the sound of your voice, and maybe I put a bit too much pre workout in my shake this morning.” He draws out the “e” sound in maybe, and you try to ignore how you can hear him smiling through the phone.
“Come on, I’m serious.” You say, biting down on a manicured nail worriedly.
“I’m serious.” He mimics, then he gets loud again. “Whoa hey Athena, no fair, I’m talking to y/n.”
“Buck, just let Athena put you in handcuffs, it’s for your safety and the safety of others.” You say making your tone soothing, trying to lull him into doing what Athena says.
“Call me baby. Like you did in the bar when you wanted that guy to leave you alone, and maybe I will.” He says, his voice teasing and low.
He’s such a brat, you can’t believe you’re in love with him.
You can hear Athena groan in the background, and you sigh heavily; your face flushing even though you’re alone. “Buck, baby, will you please go quietly with Athena?”
“Will you come bail me out?” He counters.
“You’re not going to jail Buck.” Athena says, flatly.
“How about I come to the station after my next patient, and you just sit pretty waiting for me?”
“You know I’d wait forever for you sweetheart.” He purrs, and your stomach flips.
“You’re so sweet, now let Athena arrest you, I have to go.” You say quickly, trying not to scream.
“Okay, bye y/n.” He says, and you can hear Eddie and Hen chiming in as well.
You race over to the 118 after your last patient, tapping your nails on the steering wheel, worrying at your bottom lip. Your shoes click against the concrete of the floor, and you take the steps two at a time until you see him. He’s half slumped on the kitchen table, but he brightens when he sees you.
“Y/N!” He stands quickly, closing the distance between you, wrapping you in a bear hug and lifting you off the ground.
“Buck—put me down!” You laugh, clinging to him for balance.
“No, if I put you down, you’ll leave again.” He pouts, his large hands going to your thighs, holding you up, your legs wrapping around him in an extra effort to keep yourself steady.
It’s not even necessary, Buck’s arms aren’t even slightly straining under your weight, it’s like you weigh less than a bunch of grapes.
“I just got here, I'm not going anywhere.” You tell him, face burning hotter and hotter the longer he keeps you in his grip.
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
He smiles, and your stupid heart skips a beat.
“Although you’re the one who ran out on me the other week.” You drawl, taking advantage of his diverted attention to draw circles on the nape of his neck with your nails.
“The other week?” Buck’s cheeks redden and he looks dazed, distracted, his hands squeezing your thighs every so often, an unconscious reflex or a side effect of the drugs? You’re not sure.
You bite your lip and Buck’s eyes drift to it. “My apartment? Before all the craziness and the countywide emergencies, I offered to make you breakfast, and you just bolted.”
“Oh yeah…” Buck says, as he carries you over to the couch, sitting down, keeping you in his lap. “Sorry about that, that was rude of me, huh?”
“A little bit.” You tell him, hoping no one comes upstairs, because Buck might not have any shame, but you sure do.
“Let me make it up to you.” He says, giving you the most puppy dog look you’ve ever seen.
“Buck you’re high, we can talk about this when you’re sober.” You tell him, moving to get off his lap.
He holds you fast, his large hands on your hips. “You said you wouldn’t leave.”
Yeah, you’re definitely gonna bring this up to him at a later date, he needs to talk to a professional about his abandonment issues.
“Buck I can’t just be straddling you in your place of work, it’s not appropriate.”
He pouts but lets you move to sit beside him, keeping his hands on your hips. “Fine, fine, but seriously y/n, I’ll make it up to you, anything, tell me what I have to do.”
Tell me you love me, tell me you want me, tell me I’m not crazy. You want to say it, he’s high as hell, he won’t remember, but it feels wrong, like you’d be taking advantage of him somehow.
“You don’t need to make it up to me, we’re friends, I shouldn’t have expected anything more.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, what do you mean?” Buck asks, his brows furrowed.
“We’re friends, you say it all the time, and I know I shouldn’t expect more than friend behavior from you, but sometimes I’m a little delusional.”
“And?”
“And?” Now it’s your turn to furrow your brows. “No and, that’s it.”
He shakes his head. “There’s always an and.”
“Fine, and I want more.”
“More friend stuff?” He asks, his thumbs slipping under the hem of your shirt seeking out your skin.
“More than friend behavior. But I know you don’t feel that way, and really, we shouldn’t even be having this conversation right now, you won’t even remember—”
Buck drags you back into his lap, and kisses you, his lips soft, melding with yours, intent on devouring you, and fuck you’ve wanted this for so long, but you can’t, he’s not in his right mind.
You break the kiss, and pull back, stomach flipping when his lips chase yours, giving you that puppy dog pout he wears so well.
There’s a heartbreaking uncertainty that flickers across his face. “I thought—?”
“No, no you’re right, you thought right, it’s just Buck, you’re high.” You stress, cupping his cheeks, swiping your thumbs back and forth along his cheekbones.
“Yeah y/n, I know.” He groans, “everyone keeps reminding me.”
“And just like how you told me no when I was drunk, I’m telling you no now.” You say firmly, undercutting it by booping his nose.
He wrinkles his nose in response, all uncertainty gone. “Fine, fine, you’re a good person y/n, kinda a tease, but it’s okay I still love you.”
You swallow hard and get off his lap. “Yeah, let’s see how you feel when you sober up.”
Eventually Maddie comes to pick Buck up and you head home, thoroughly wiped by the emotional rollercoaster you’ve been on. Falling asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. You wake up the next day to a text from Buck.
Buck: Fully sober, I meant what I said, did you?
Y/N: Yeah I’ve actually been flirting with you for months now, so
Buck: I’ll be over in thirty sweetheart, and I’m bringing breakfast. No running out this time I promise

Adoption | Learn
“So let me get this straight.”
Danny stared at the group of vigilantes in front of him, a look of utter disbelief etched onto his face.
“Batman had a baby with Catwoman, she hid it from him, gave the baby up for adoption, and that baby is me. And you’re all here because Batman’s other ex also had a hidden pregnancy, but she’s a homicidal maniac who wants to make sure her son is the only blood child because of some weird cult rules?”
If they’d been in a cartoon, there’s be crickets chirping. He continued, voice growing less disbelieving and more angry as he went.
“And because some cult wants to kill me, I have to give up my whole life, cut off all contact with my family and friends, go live in a state 900 miles away, and stay cooped up— for an unknown amount of time— in Bruce Wayne’s mansion, because that’s who Batman really is.”
A stilted silence filled the room of the safe house Danny had been dragged to a few hours ago, sans the unnecessarily long explanation he’d just summarized.
After a few more moments, Nightwing stepped forward and smiled gently at him an oh, that rankled Danny. He did not need whatever kid gloves the guy was about to pull on. Before Bluebell had a chance to open his mouth, Danny channeled his inner Jazz and raised his hand for silence. Nightwing paused, and Danny proceeded to give them all a single, flat, unimpressed look, and then stated factually,
“I’m not leaving, I’m not staying with yet another frootloop billionaire, and I’m not in the least concerned with dying. So. You can all go back to where you belong, I’ll stay here, where I belong, and if any cultist come knocking I’ll deal with them just like I’ve been dealing with every other threat in this town the last six months: alone. Because apparently the entire Justice League is too busy to respond to calls for help about inter-dimensional threats popping in and out of my parents basement on a daily basis.”
… Okay, so Danny may have been yelling a bit by the end, but it was justified! And oh, Danny really wished his life was a cartoon right now, because that cricket chirping would be been perfect. He’s pretty sure he broke a few of them. Nightwing looked ready to cry.
Good. Danny was too tired to deal with this sh*t.
Thanks to the whole Pariah Dark thing last month, Danny was apparently immortal now anyways, so even if the cult people managed to completely destroy his body, he’d just reform in the Zone. Because he was now connected to it, and only another ghost could End him like he had Pariah, because of some weird dimensional rules. Apparently, since humans couldn’t rule the Infinite Realms, they just, like… didn’t qualify to kill him. That went for aliens, demons, gods, and other non-human beings of sentience.
So Danny’s got that going for him at least. About time something useful came outta this whole disaster of a school year.
But he’d gotten off track. Before him stood a truly ridiculous number of vigilantes, and they all looked like he’d just slapped them with a fish and then played violin with it. For a few minutes, Danny just basked in the stuttering and bewildered looks, before he noticed Nightwing drawing himself up in righteous determination and decided that yeah, he was done now.
At this point, being a dramatic a**hole to people (or ghosts) who were annoying him was just second nature, so he straightened to attention, raised his hand in a salute, and then let himself sink through the floor, perfectly stoic.
The stuttering turned to panicked shouts, and Danny’s last view of his apparent siblings was a few people lunging for him and missing, winding up tangled together on the carpet.
‘Ahhhh, yesss, I will treasure that memory always! Ah well, time to get home! Maybe I should scout out for those cult people, mess around with them. Maybe follow them back sometime, meet my half-brother. That could be fun, me and Ellie can make a road trip of it this summer! Maybe by then, the Justice Losers will have gotten their heads out as their butts.’
Meanwhile, back at the safe house, several frantic calls were being made about the dimensional threats and the League of Assassins and the possibly meta human, definitely vigilante brother.
Amity Park was about to get a lot more chaotic.

𝐉𝐎𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐌𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 | 𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐗𝐇𝐄𝐊𝐀𝐉
summary: arber comes home from a long road trip, finding you awake and waiting for him
warnings: pure fluff, gross coupley stuff where they are just obsessed with each other
word count: 0.9k
notes: based on 'joy of my life' by chris stapleton. i love him no one will be able to change that (this is directed at sens and leafs fans)
Arber’s fingers tightened around the steering wheel, the leather cool and worn beneath his touch, as the rain began to fall in earnest. Heavy sheets of water splashed against the windshield, distorting the world beyond in a blur of shadows and streaking light. It was almost one in the morning, and the long stretch of games out west had wrung him dry—his muscles ached with the memory of each hit, every battle for the puck. But all of that melted away with the thought of coming home to you. It was a warmth that seeped into his bones, soothing the exhaustion that clung to him like a second skin.
Pulling into the driveway, he killed the engine and sat there for a moment, the patter of rain against the car roof the only sound in the world. The house stood still and silent before him. He expected darkness, to tiptoe through the house while you slept peacefully, but there was a soft, golden glow spilling from the bedroom window. A smile tugged at his lips. You’d fallen asleep with the light on again, he was sure of it. He forced himself to move out of the car, his body protesting with every step as he made his way to the door.
Carefully, he slipped inside, the door creaking in protest at the late hour. Every step he took was deliberate, gentle, as though he were trying to preserve the peace of the space you shared. The memories of the many times he’d returned home late at night flashed through his mind, all those moments when he’d tried and failed to sneak in without waking you. Your groggy complaints, the way you’d swat at him half-heartedly before snuggling closer.
Tiptoeing up the stairs and down the hallway, he softly twisted the knob and pushed the door open. His breath caught when he saw your silhouette, bathed in the soft light of the bedside lamp you’d indeed left on. However, you were awake, your eyes warm and sleepy, an expression on your face that made his heart twist.
“Hey,” you whispered, your voice a melody Arber had been waiting to hear. “You’re home.”
He exhaled, the breath shuddering out of him. “I didn’t mean to wake you.”
“You didn’t,” you assured him, a small smile on your lips. “I couldn’t sleep … not when I knew you were coming home tonight.”
His chest tightened, the weight of your words sinking into him. He dropped his duffel onto the dresser, but before he could even think of unpacking, you spoke again.
“No, no, baby,” you murmured, your voice like velvet, drawing his gaze back to you. “Do that later, please.” You peeled back the covers, inviting him into the warmth he’d been craving all those lonely nights on the road. “Come lay beside me… I’ve been waiting since you left.”
He paused, his heart swelling. He wanted to get the unpacking over with, but you were beckoning to him like a siren. He stepped away from the dresser, beginning to strip off his clothes, exhaustion making his movements slow. He slipped into bed, immediately wrapping you in his arms. You fit against him perfectly, your warmth seeping into his skin, chasing away every ounce of fatigue. He buried his face in your hair, inhaling the familiar scent of vanilla.
“I missed you,” he confessed, his voice thick with the weight of it all—the longing, the endless nights spent wanting nothing but this.
“I missed you too.” you whispered back, your fingers tracing delicate patterns across his chest. Every touch was a balm, soothing the aches and bruises that had settled deep in his bones. “Long trip?”
“Yeah,” he said, a tired chuckle escaping him. “I thought it would never end.”
You lifted your head, meeting his gaze. “Well, you’re here now. And that’s all that matters.”
The two of you lay there, wrapped up in the silence, letting it wash over you like a lullaby. Arber’s hand drifted to your hair, his fingers threading through the soft strands, his eyes tracing every line and curve of your face as if memorizing it all over again. “You know,” he began, his voice raw with emotion, “every time I’m away, it feels like I’m leaving a piece of myself behind. You’re… you’re the joy of my life, you know that?”
You felt your heart swell, and you couldn’t help but smile. “I remember the first time I saw you,” he continued, his voice barely above a whisper. “You looked like an angel that day. I thought to myself, ‘There’s no way she could be real.’ But you are. You remember?”
You couldn’t help but chuckle. “Of course I remember the day we met. I thought you were the most intimidating man I’d ever seen. And then you smiled… and everything changed.”
“Changed everything, didn’t it?” he murmured, leaning down to brush his lips against your forehead, his breath warm against your skin. His chuckle was soft, but the love in his eyes was unmistakable. “I knew then that I’d never want to let you go. I still feel that way. Every time I come home, it’s like I fall in love with you all over again.”
You lowered your head back down, hearing the gentle beat of his heart through his chest. “I love you,” you whispered.
“I love you too,” Arber replied, placing a soft kiss on the top of your head. You briefly leaned away from Arber, turning off the lamp and leaving you in the darkness, before rolling back into his grasp.
In the stillness of the night, you felt him draw you even closer as if trying to make up for all the time spent apart. And in that moment, nothing else mattered—just the two of you, wrapped up in each other, with all the love in the world.

Commander's Needs [NSFW]
» pairing: canon!Hange x afab!Reader » summary: Delivering Levi's paperwork to a certain Commander turns into something you could only dream about. » word count: 3.4k » notes/warnings: smut... p in v, please read my Hange headcanon for this! lots of pet names (dear, darling, good girl, love), Hange has a cock and boobs *Vine boom*, major slow burn » a/n: I had sm fun writing this so I hope you guys enjoy it (first fic on Tumblr so pls be nice T-T) this is also half not edited bc it's 3 am... so uh don't mind it being practically all over the place » song recommendations: Intro: Singularity by BTS » Ao3 link Happy reading ദി(。•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊
Only the sound of the crickets outside the window, as well as the quietness of the night, could be heard from Commander Hange Zoë’s office as they immersed themselves in some rather last-minute paperwork. The oil lamp’s flickering flame reflected off their glasses as they wrote, signed and stamped.
The soft silence was suddenly broken by the sound of knocks at the Commander’s door, drawing their attention away from the messy paperwork splattered across the desk, to the unexpected raps. It was rather late, why would anyone come knocking, Hange thought as they got up from the chair.
“(Y/N), what are you doing here at this hour?” Exclaimed the Commander as they opened the door to reveal the sudden visitor.
“Oh- so sorry for the late disturbance,” You said with a panicked tone as you glanced nervously at the papers in your hand, guiding them towards the Commander’s direction. “Captain Levi had instructed me to give these to you.”
As Hange sensed your tense posture, they swiftly grabbed the papers from your hands, examining them with an apparent curiosity about their contents.
“No need to worry! So Levi’s got you to do his dirty work this time?” Hange asked jokingly as they leaned against the door frame.
“I was just passing by, I’m guessing I was one of the few still awake at this time. I don’t mind tho.” You replied with a shrug of your shoulders.
Hange removed their weight from the doorframe as they returned to their desk “Now that you’re here, I might as well enjoy the company.” They pulled a chair and patted it. “Come, sit down.”
With hesitation, you slowly approached the seat and settled yourself beside Hange. The sound of a chair scraping at the floor broke the awkward silence as the Commander scooted themselves closer.
“So, besides being Levi’s mail person, what else do you do?”
You didn’t answer immediately as you gathered your thoughts, holding your tongue before answering.
“I volunteer in the medical bay quite often, if not I'm just your regular old scout.”
Hange took the time to examine you as you spoke, taking in every detail - from your hair to how the soft orange light cast by the oil lamp’s flame reflected in your eyes. You simply looked… captivating.
“A medic, huh?” Hange finally spoke once they acknowledged they had been silent for too long. “That means you know a thing or two about anatomy, right?”
“I do, I’ve seen and learned lots of things.” You responded quickly as the Commander’s question took you aback.
Hanges eyes surveyed your face, looking for any hint of hesitation, but it wasn’t intimidating, it was… more curious than anything. Moist began covering the palms of your hands as they took their time to answer once more. Quickly, you wiped them on your pants.
“Do you think you could take a look at my neck real quick?”
“Of course! What seems to be the problem Commander?”
Slowly, Hange’s blouse revealed their shoulders as well as the upper part of their chest while they undid the first few buttons. You felt a soft plush crawl at your cheeks at the sight of Hange’s exposed skin but as the Commander turned around, you observed a swollen part of their skin located on the upper back.
“This spot has been killing me. I don’t know what the hell happened but can you take a look?” Hange said with their back turned, awaiting your medical remarks.
“Well, I think you have a knot in your neck… I’d need to take a closer look to be sure.” You explained softly.
“Do what you must, doctor.” Hange joked.
You gave them a soft hum before reaching out. The contact between your cold hands and the warmth of their body sent jolts up your spine as you touched Hange’s skin, softly touching the tense muscle.
Hanges nerves followed the touch of your fingertips on their back, they leaned into your touch a little, their breath catching in their throat when you started touching them in a not-so-delicate way, contrasting your previous soft touch.
“Have you been stressed recently?”
“Yeah, I’ve been a lot more stressed than usual lately. It’s been a rough few months, with the new position.”
“I wouldn’t doubt it…” You said as you continued to examine their skin with your fingers. “You simply have a muscle knot, you could always let it go away on its own, or I could loosen it a bit to help. But for it to get better in general, you need good nutrition and rest.”
Hange listened intently as you explained, their mind fixated on the way your touch felt on their skin. They nodded in agreement as you suggested to help loosen it slightly, but hearing your last suggestion caused a small chuckle to escape their lips.
“Rest? That’s a good one, I don't think I’ve gotten a good night’s sleep in weeks. I don’t have time for-”
“Commander!” Gripping their shoulders, you turned Hange around to face you. “It’s important for you to get rest. As a matter of fact, as your acting doctor, I want you to go to bed now! The paperwork can wait.” You persisted.
Taken aback by your insistence, Hange simply stared into your eyes. They weren’t used to someone, especially a lower-ranked scout, telling them what to do. The corners of their lips quivered as they fought back the smile threatening to spread across their face.
“You think you can tell me what to do? I have lots of important work to get done tonight.” Hange said with a teasing tone as they folded their arms across their chest. You knew damn well you had absolutely no right to order the Commander around, but you were genuinely concerned for their health.
“Commander, please. It really is important to take care of yourself. No matter how much “important” work you may have.”
The only reaction Hange gave you was a soft chuckle at your persistence. They weren’t used to someone being so headstrong with them, but they secretly found themselves amused by your determination.
“Alright, alright. I’ll rest. I guess you only have my best interest in mind, right?” Hange responded as she shook her head in defeat.
“You bet, Commander!” You said with a bright smile plastered on your face that Hange couldn’t help but return. There was something about your presence that put them at ease, even though your determined attitude, they were enjoying this little back-and-forth banter.
“You’re feisty, you know that?” Hange exclaimed as they slipped their blouse back onto their shoulders, not bothering to rebutton the top buttons. “I like it”
A soft blush began covering your cheeks as you ignored their last comment.
“No time for joking around, you need a good night's rest for once.” You said demandingly as Hange held up their hands in surrender with a faint laugh.
“Yes I’m going, I’m going.” They said in a low voice, getting up from their chair with a groan.
“One more thing though…” Hange continued, stopping you in your walk towards the door.
“What is it, Commander?”
Hange remained silent before they stepped closer to you, observing you once more with a curious gaze.
“Is it a part of a doctor’s job to also ensure the patient they’re checking on… enjoys the experience?” Their voice dropped to a lower, more intense tone as they asked you. Their gaze fixed so intensely into you.
Your words came out with a stutter as Hange loomed over you, their imposing presence slightly intimidating you. “O-our patients' experience is the most important part of the job.”
The Commander smirked at your stammered response. They could tell they were making you seemingly nervous, but your reaction only fueled their enjoyment and encouraged them to push further.
“Is that so” Hange taunted under their breath as they closed the small gap between you two, their strides bringing them overwhelming close, forcing your body to make contact with their office door. They raised a hand and delicately caressed your cheek while slowly tracing the outline of your face tenderly, their touch sending pleasurable shocks through your body. Faced with the Commander's unexpected boldness, you only stood frozen in shock, unable to react any other way. A soft snicker escaped Hange’s lips as they watched your flustered face and nervous stature. With their soft fingertips still tracing your face, they pushed away a loose strand of your hair behind your ear.
“You’re awfully red… aren’t you, my darling?” They murmured into your ear. Shivers were sent down your spine as their soft breath tickled your ear. The comforting warmth of Hange’s touch disappeared from your face, their hand slowly continuing its path along your body before it came to a stop at your waist, trapping it in an intimate embrace. To your surprise, your body reacted strangely to the Commander's intimate touch, the warmth of their hand against your skin sent sparks of anticipation down your spine, brewing a heat deep within you that you couldn't explain nor ignore. A smile slowly crept to Hange's lips as they felt your body tensing up to their tender touch. The Commander continued to revel in the effect they had on you, the hand resting at your waist travelled higher, their fingers dancing across your bare skin, tracing patterns that sent tremors of pleasure through your body. You couldn’t help but look down as your cheeks flushed in embarrassment and trepidation at their touch. The anticipation in you grew stronger and stronger.
“You’re terribly quiet, darling… speak up.” Their hot breath tingled against the crook of your neck as Hange whispered, the hand that was once simply resting by their side now forcing your chin upwards.
“Commander…” You muttered as their touch sent sparks of anticipation down to your core. Hange’s grin widened at the sound of your frailed whisper, fueling the desire boiling inside of them.
“Call me Hange, dear.” Their lips ghosted against the line of your jaw, drawing you closer. The soft, velvety touch of their lips sent subtle shivers of pleasure rippling down your body, the tender caress was an inevitable invitation to your anticipation.
“Coma- Hange” You whispered. With a hum of satisfaction escaping Hange’s throat, the sound of their name coming from your lips fueled their enjoyment.
“Ah, that's better. I like the way it sounds when you say it like that.” They continued to pepper your jaw with soft, tender kisses, their lingering breath hot and warm against your skin. Hange’s hand, which had journeyed to your stomach, slowly trailed downwards, the tips of their fingers tracing a torturous path along the hem of your pants, creating a delicious tension that left you yearning for more. Leaning even closer, now bodies fully pressed onto each other, Hange’s face left your jaw and brought their lips to your ear.
“You’re struggling to keep it together, aren’t you?”
The Commander couldn’t help but grin a little wider at the soft serenade of you moaning their name. It was such a sweet sound, yet it sent such terrible images through Hange’s mind. Pulling their head back slightly, just enough to view how much of a wreck they had created.
And there you were, Hange’s eyes darkened, taking in your flustered state. With a small smirk appearing on their lips, they permitted their hand to venture further down your body, delving under the waistband of your pants to trace the edge of your underwear teasingly. Such close contact near your core sent jolts of excitement through you. You felt yourself becoming wetter as Hange’s explorations became bolder. Your eyes were drawn to Hange’s lips as if magnetized, you felt the longing hunger grow inside you as you remained powerless. The Commander's gaze bore onto you more intently, noticing the way your body trembled as their hand discovered newer parts of your soft, lush skin. They couldn’t help but flicker their gaze down to your lips for a brief moment before returning to your eyes, boring the same eagerness as their own.
“Hange.. Please” You muttered quietly, you couldn’t wait any longer, the delirious tension had taken your mind by force.
“Please what, darling?”
“Touch me, please…”
It was as if a string had broken, releasing a rush of need inside of them.
Hange didn’t hesitate for a moment before allowing their hand to venture downwards towards your core, their fingertips finding your sensitive clit through the thin barrier of your underwear.
In response, you simply let out a soft moan of their name. Relieving, that’s how it felt. Darkness overtook your vision as you closed your eyes, letting the sensation of Hange’s fingertips caressing your sensitive core overtake you.
“Keep your eyes on me.” With a forceful hand, the Commander took your chin and tilted it upwards. You obeyed their command, letting your eyes bore into theirs, but, you needed more, you needed them.
“Good girl” They whispered, their voice soft and intimate as they leaned forward, gently resting their forehead on yours. The closeness intensified the moment, their words filling the air between you like a shared secret only for the two of you. Your core became needy. You couldn’t stop yourself from lifting one of your legs, wrapping it around the Commander’s hips, bringing them even closer than before.
“More… Please, more.” You muttered under your breath, begging Hange to feed your core’s hungriness. Oh, how your sweet begging and your desperate moans drove them wild; the Commander was more than happy to comply with your request. Their movement was painfully slow as they pushed the delicate fabric of your underwear to the side, finally letting their fingers come into contact with your bare skin. Hange teased you ever so slightly as they dragged their fingers down your slit, covering them in your slick.
And before you knew it, a finger entered your needy core.
“Is this what you wanted, my dear?” The Commander’s breath tickled your ear as they whispered, their finger thrusting into you. You could only gasp at the sensation, bringing your hands up from their idle position to venture into Hange’s messy hair, tugging and combing through it. It was Hange’s turn to let out a soft moan at the sensation, your touch sending sparks down their spine.
“The way you’re sucking me in, it’s driving me crazy.” They whispered, their voice raspy with desire. An empowering rush of confidence overtook you as you allowed your hand to trail down Hange’s body, slowly moving until coming to a halt at the bulge of their pants. The bold move sent a thrill through you, the touch of your hand against their evident arousal filled you with a sense of excitement. The Commander let out a gasp as they felt your hand press against their core, the unexpected feeling ignited a sudden wave of heat and desire that coursed through their body. The intimate touch sent a shockwave of sensations around their body, their body responding instinctively to your caress by leaning into your touch, they felt every ounce of restraint slipping away.
Hange moaned your name as their eyes darkened, not being able to hold back, they entrapped your lips into a searing, messy kiss while adding a digit inside of you. It was sloppy, yet you were trying to memorize the feeling of Hange’s lips on yours. The warmth of the hand that was once softly caressing the skin of your jaw now left it unattended, while suddenly entrapping both of your hands together. Without warning, the feeling of Hange’s fingers inside of you disappeared. You whined in protest.
“Shush darling, let’s get to the good part, shall we?”
The sound of your ruffling blouse could be heard as the Commander unbuttoned it impatiently, all while leaving scattered kisses across your neck. Finally free from the confinement, your arms wrapped around Hange’s neck as they ventured lower, continuing with lingering kisses down your body. Hange hummed ever so slightly into every kiss. With a swift move, they hoisted your legs onto their shoulders and brought you off the ground. Their hands under your thighs, they held you securely against them while guiding you towards the bed. Your back made contact with the plush blanket as Hange gently put you down, their lips trailing up to yours to meet in a tongued kiss. The Commander’s lips were now seared into your memory, their tongue dancing with yours. You let yourself sink into the mattress as Hange unbuttoned your pants, leaving your covered core in the air. You bucked your hips as they pushed their knee to your sensitive area, grinding yourself onto it to get the least bit of pleasure. Admiring the view, Hange swiftly undid the last buttons of their blouse before tossing it with the rest of the discarded clothes on the floor. The warmth of their hands returned to your body as they ever-so-slightly lifted your back off of the bed to unclasp your bra, revealing your breasts. Your hands covered your sensitive buds as the cold air hit them before being pried away.
“Don’t be shy, love, we’re already past the point of no return,” The Commander whispered greedily. Before you knew it, Hange’s mouth was latched onto one of your breasts, sucking and twisting your bud with their tongue as their hands worked around your panties, slipping them off of you while you were too exhilarated from the new sensation.
Your eyes trailed Hange’s now naked body when they finally removed their garments, revealing their pretty bust and their needy cock that leaked precum. Joining you on the bed, Hange gently lifted your leg, their lips began a soft trail of pecks up your body until you were face to face. Honey-brown eyes bore into yours, searching for hesitation.
“Are you sure, my love?”
“This isn’t very professional,” You said in a teasing tone before instantly regretting your choice of words.
“To hell with professionalism.” They muttered in a ragged voice before entering you without warning. Your pussy sucked in Hange’s cock as if it was built just for them. Soft moans of your name left their lips at the sensation. Each one of their thrust made their cock explore a new cove of your core, making your hips buck every time. Your hands cramped up as you gripped the sheets before you tangled them into Hange’s dishevelled hair. You hadn’t expected the Commander to fuck as if possessed, their thrusts were rough yet relieving to your neediness. Sweet nothings kept spewing out of their mouth as you moaned; you could barely hear yourself over the sound of your skin slapping.
“So good, so good,” Hange muttered frantically as they buried their face in the crook of your neck, the feeling of their breath tickling your skin added to the many sensations you were feeling. It was almost overwhelming. Hands now holding onto their back, you clung onto them, nails digging ever so slightly into their skin. The Commander's soft grunts kept resonating in your ears.
Your walls began clenching around Hange’s cock, your breath becoming more and more ragged. Each trust sent waves of pleasure through you, you couldn’t get enough.
“Fuck, I needed you so badly.” They mumbled as their elbows came to rest beside your head. “You look so pretty, getting fucked like this, my dear”
You let out a lewd moan as Hange’s thrusts became rougher, you could tell by how their cock quivered inside of you that they were close. With a limp move of the hand, the Commander brought your legs to their waist. You held them tight with your wrapped legs, letting their cock access you deeper. Each thrust, groan, and squeeze threatened to push you over the deep end. Hange overtook you, you let it happen.
“Inside me, please… Hange,” You said in multiple breaths as your walls began quivering around their member. They gasped loudly at the sensation while letting out a cuss.
Stumbling over your breaths, you became undone on the Commander’s cock. Legs quivering and nails digging into their skin, you moaned Hange’s name over and over again as they fucked you through your high before they plunged deep inside of you for their last thrust, filling you up with their cum.
Slowly, Hange slipped out of you, a gasp escaping your lips.
A smirk appeared as their eyes examined your now fucked-out body, as well as the soft white that escaped your hole, spilling onto the sheets. Hange was admiring their work of art.
With a lingering kiss on your temple, the Commander let their body fall beside you with a squeak of the bed. “Let’s get some sleep now, my dear,”
“You’re such an idiot,” You chuckled before snuggling into their arm tiredly.

Heaven Knows I’m miserable now🍂
…
@sarcastic-cookie @herondale-lightworm @anunstablefangirl @kitsbaby123
More jeremy !!!!!!!!!!!!
I’d been hours , four long hours…it was dark outside and you were ready for bed ; settled so nicely in your bed , reading and trying…failing…to distract yourself from your ghost boyfriend who’d well…disappeared from the face of the earth. Maybe he’d moved on…? moved onto the next thing…made at peace or something…you’d hoped he hadn’t , you missed him. Rethinking everything, the way his lips felt so perfect against yours . You tried to read a book, only stopping on the same sentence two hundred and three times , Heaven knows I’m miserable now by the Smiths echoing through the dull room .
You were bored…sad and somewhat completely still confused by everything. You heard your bedroom door slowly open before a very breathless and..soaking wet Jeremy appeared.
“there she is..!”Jeremy pants out , “oh i’m so glad you’re here cause i’ve just had to fight the weirdest…” He stops , shaking himself as he laughs out , “i’m human like i’m actually breathing and stuff and i bruise and..oh my god i can actually leave this place ..”
You stare at him, leaving your bed to hug him, “missed you.”
“oh? yeah? i…uh…yeah…i missed you too but listen, baby…i just had to fight the weirdest guy over in..the underworld thing..? like he was not letting me leave but..uh i mean he did let me but-“ You cut him off , lips meeting with his as he freezes, pushing off for a moment.
“you’re warm..”
“yeah i’m alive again so i’m-…you kissed me.”
“yeah..? i missed you.”
“so are we like officially together now..since like…im human and not dead and like totally able to go on dates with you.”
You roll your eyes , pushing his head back to yours as you lead him onto the bed , his hands gripping your thighs as he leans over you, tongues dancing and lips hungrily smashing together. Your hands in his hair , he hums out occasionally; clearly dazed by everything and now the fact he was human and able to kiss his little human girlfriend without a care or a problem….well besides the problem brewing between his hips..
He lifts you a little higher, shifting himself between your thighs as he continues to kiss you , his hands wearily moving from your thighs and under your shirt causing a small hum to leave your lips…
“hm..” He stops for a moment, “i have missed this..”
“oh?” you stop, blinking at him as he hand slowly runs over your chest , your eyes half lidded as you stare at him
“i…i..not like that! i meant being a human…i wasn’t like some total manwhore…i mean this is the closest i’ve gotten to actually touching-…ill just…ill just shut up..”
You giggle at him, moving his head to rest on your chest as your fingers run through his wet hair , sighing out , “you worried me…”
“i know but trust me…i would never leave you..i chose to haunt you when i was a ghost and..i am so gonna haunt you now im alive….you’re gonna have to kill me to get me to leave ..” He smiles up at him, fingers drawing circles into your skin, eyes shining with softness and admiration once again as yours mirror his.
“i think id like it if you haunted me forever, jer…”
“yeah..?”
“mhm…”
You both settle , breathing matching as you stare at each other…mind at peace and body calm under his…you’d have this forever .

The Draw
(Williamson!reader)
The Wonder Twins Universe
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —
During your international break you talked with Leah about your feelings for certain Catalonian captain. She couldn’t help but to smile while she listened how you talked about Alexia. She confirmed that moving to Barcelona was the perfect move.
Also, during the third day of the break Mapi called you. She hated how everything was going with Vilda, how he and his staff treated the girls and how they made them train extra hours. You let Mapi to vent out all her frustrations, all her feelings at that moment it was everything you could do for her. You were worried for Mapi and the girls.
After the international break Lucy, Keira and you returned to Barcelona.
Playing with the Lionesses gave you that energy boost that you needed, you guys had two out of two possible victories. While playing in Barcelona has been amazing nothing could compare to the feeling of playing alongside your twin.
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —
You were over the moon, since Liga F started Barcelona hadn’t lost a single game. You had won a spot in the starting 11 and you couldn’t have been happier, with each game you only get better. Barcelona was really your home, your dream team.
Two weeks after the international break you and the girls found yourselves sitting down in the media room watching the Champions League draw for the group stages.
Until that moment the group was the next: FC Barcelona, Sporting de Lisboa, and Bayern München. There was only one team left to complete the group. Everyone turned their heads towards the TV to learn who would be their final rival.
“Joining in group D is going to be…”
The suspense was killing everyone in the room, that was until a team was mentioned.
“Arsenal”
As soon as that word left the mouth of the presenter you stood up and left the room. You couldn’t support the pity looks that your teammates were giving you.
You couldn’t believe it, of all the possible teams it had to be Arsenal, you were going to be playing against your previous team. Against some of your best friends and most importantly against Leah.
You had always played with Leah, never against her.
You couldn’t hear it but as soon as you left Mapi stood up and followed you. You ran towards the training ground as you needed fresh air, you were having a panic attack.
You felt a hand rubbing your back and that person said “y/n! Breath, follow my breath. One, two, three. Again y/nn one, two, three. You are doing amazing y/nn”
As soon as you kinda calmed down you realized that the person helping you was Mapi.
She gave you a few more minutes to calm down.
“Gracias por tu ayuda Mapi” (Thank you for helping me Mapi) you whispered and hugged her
“What is going on your head y/nn? Please talk to me.” She could imagine what was going on however she wanted to hear it from you.
“I’m not necessarily worried about playing against Arsenal itself. I’m worried about playing against Leah. All I’ve ever known is playing with her not against her, I knew that it could happen, but I expected it to happen later on”
Mapi knew that she would never understand what it meant to play against a sister, nerveless twin against twin. She knew that the only thing she could do was to help you to accept what just had happened.
“y/n I will never be able understand what you are feeling but I feel as if I have known Leah for ages because of everything you’ve told me. She would be proud of you if you give your everything against them. I know that nothing can break the bond that you have with her and if there is something that could do it wouldn’t be something as simple as a result from a match”
You needed to hear those words; your feelings were all over the place.
“y/nn why don’t you go back to your apartment and call her. I’ll explain everything to Jonatan so go back home and rest. If you miss one day of training nothing will happen. I’m sure that he will understand”
At that moment you couldn’t have been more grateful for Mapi.
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —
After your call with Leah you realized that Mapi was right. While it would be difficult to play against Leah you guys promised to give your best versions of yourselves against each other.
You were sitting in your living room still thinking about the draw when the sound of someone knocking on your door interrupted your thoughts.
You stood up and opened your door. It was Alexia.
“Hola y/n. Puedo pasar?” (Hi y/n may I come in?) She said with a soft voice.
As soon as she said those words you let her in.
“I don’t want to sound rude but what are you doing here Ale?”
“Well y/nn I just went to the store, and I brought popcorn and some ice cream. I was thinking that we could watch a movie to distract you for a while. What do you say y/nn?”
If after almost three months in Barcelona you hadn’t fallen in love with her, you just did. Usually, you were the one cheering up everyone else and not the other way around so, Alexia doing that for you just made your feelings for her grow even stronger.
“Let’s do it Ale”
While the movie was on you could help but to look down towards the Spaniard who was cuddling you. She felt you looking at her and then it finally happened.
You kissed her and she kissed back. You guys separated to breathe some air. You joined your foreheads and whispered “Let me take you out on a date Ale”
“Si, y/n” she whispered and gave you a kiss again.
You guys separated when you heard someone knocking on your door. You quickly fixed yourself and opened the door.
You couldn’t believe it, it was some of your teammates with Mapi at the front.
“y/n! We are having bonding time in your apartment so let us in”
She walked through your door and let herself and the team in.
You knew why Mapi was doing this. You couldn’t believe how lucky you were to call someone as her your best friend.
“y/n is there something you want to tell us about Ale already being here?” She couldn’t help but to tease you while rising her eyebrow.
You never answered and just told them to sit down.
Barca was really your second family.
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —
Arsenal vs Barcelona
How lucky were you. Your second Champions League game with Barcelona was going to be in the Emirates Stadium.
The team arrived to the stadium and everywhere you looked you couldn’t help but to remember everything you went through with Arsenal.
Before you knew it was time to line up in the tunnel. You greeted every single person of your former team. Finally, you reached the person next to Marta Torrejón and hugged her.
“Sis no matter the result nothing will affect our relationship. You are my sister, my best friend, and my twin. I love you y/n” Leah whispered
“Thanks Lee, I needed to hear those words sis. I love you sis”
You went back to your place and the teams walked out.
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —
You heard the final whistle and finally you could breathe.
Barcelona won 0-4 with you assisting Aitana and scoring the last goal in the 88th minute, taking home the player of the match award. Even if you assisted and scored you didn’t celebrate them, you couldn’t do it. You had too much respect and you were grateful towards Arsenal and the gunners for everything they did for you and your sister.
You walked towards Leah, you knew that losing was difficult for her so, you hugged her.
“Can we swap jerseys Lee?”
“Of course y/nn”
You took off your Barcelona’s jersey and she took off hers. She hugged you and whispered “I’m so proud of you sis, you are on the way of becoming one of the greatest to ever play this game.”
You guys decided to sit down in the middle of the pitch looking how fans were leaving and how both teams greeted each other. You couldn’t help but to rest your head on Leah’s shoulder taking everything in. You guys stayed there until Katie gave Leah a sign to stand up while Patri gave you a sign indicating that Barcelona was going back to their hotel.
While hugging for a final time that day Leah whispered “Next time you guys won’t be so lucky”
You laughed at her words as you knew that it was her competitive nature talking.

since childhood!!
you meet as childhood friends
~feat. twst housewardens~ ~twisted wonderland x gender neutral reader~
warnings: reader is not yuu/prefect and is different for each imagine to fit the setting of the boys (ex: reader is fae in malleus', merfolk in azul's, etc.)
if you want more childhood-like fics, i wrote one with ace and jack linked here!
♡the child you meet at a playground and never see again♡
Riddle Rosehearts couldn’t even remember how or when you had joined him, Trey, and Che’nya in their daily time playing outside the nearby neighborhood. He just knew that once he had stepped outside that day—sneaking out of his home during his study time—you, a strange, new child, had been mindlessly throwing a ball to Trey, giggling in the process. Any outsider passing by could have sworn you‘d already known the young trio for years. Odd, but the boy found himself not objecting to your time spent with him and his friends. You were somehow very comfortable to speak with, and Riddle couldn’t help but find your playfulness intriguing.
“Ha! I win again!” you jumped up and cheered with Trey and Che’nya sitting in a small circle as all three of you held up your hands in exhilaration.
“Congratulations,” Trey said, returning a proud smile. Resting on a grass-filled hill, the three of you helped yourselves to pass the time with a simple game that lasted longer than expected, if you all were to be honest. Riddle—insisting to only observe for the round—caught sight of the way your competitiveness mixed with Trey’s insightfulness and Che’nya’s natural wit. It was interesting. The way you easily conversed with everyone despite only meeting hours ago, he means.
“Hey, red-head!” you then called out to the young boy watching from afar, “Do you wanna play now? I can teach you the basics; It’s really just a hand game.”
Riddle contemplated for a second until walking closer to join the group, “... I suppose I’ll join.”
“Great!” you beamed, “The game’s called Concentration. Basically, we pick a category and all four of us have to go around taking turns saying a word that matches that specific category. Like if it was, for example, colors, then we all could say things like blue, orange, red—you get the gist of it.”
A nod then came from the red-headed child who was now seated next to you.
“The catch, though,” you continued, “is that you cannot at all hesitate when it’s your turn. So no pausing before speaking. This game’s supposed to be quick and fast. Got it?”
“I’m sure I do—?”
“Good! Let’s start.” With a swift clap of your palms, the game had begun as Riddle was practically pushed into the game with your excitement. Truthfully, he had not the faintest clue as to what he had been doing, but he supposed there was no harm in simply trying, yes?
“Hmmm, the category for this round, then, would be…” you squinted your eyes, appearing to be deep in thought, “Desserts! Go!”
“Vanilla cake,” Trey began.
“Truffles~” sang Che’nya.
“Strawberry tarts,” Riddle quickly replied.
“Crap!”
Crap?
“All this dessert talk made me remember that my parents wanted me to turn off the oven before ever going out! They’re really gonna kill me this time, I just know it!” you panicked as you suddenly explained your predicament, scrambling from the ground to get back up on your feet, “I gotta go, guys! Bye!”
“And don’t think any of you won just yet! It’s a draw until I say so!” you hollered out to the three boys as you left each of them bewildered and confused. Now only being able to see the back of your running form, Riddle found that, just as you had first met them that day, you had similarly disappeared with a clap of your hands like a ghost of a light at midnight.
Riddle wondered if he’d ever see you again. Sevens, he didn’t even get to catch your name.
♡the friend you sneak out with♡
“Why are you so slow? Get moving! I’ve seen sloths move faster than you, dumbo.”
The young Leona Kingscholar, having heard the ceaseless comments coming from your also young form, gave you a classic deadpan only he could display so perfectly within the empty gardens of the Kingscholar palace. No soul had been there as the only living creatures that remained were the critters chirping their music into the night and breeze of the gardens speaking back with delicacy. That, and everyone else within the grandiose palace had been rooms away, probably swaying to whatever music the Kingscholars had orchestrated for the ball that would take place that day.
“Yeah, well why don’t you quiet down a bit, hm? You’re hurting my eardrums,” the boy replied, rubbing his left ear in annoyance. For the amount of times you both had snuck off with each other, Leona had thought you would have caught on to the main rule of sneaking out: remaining as quiet as possible until it was safe to speak.
You’ve gotta be kidding me, the chocolate-haired boy thought.
Playfully poking at his side, you began an attempt to tease him even just for a little bit, “Aw, does the little kitty not like it when he hears my oh-so-wonderful voice?”
“Yeah. It’s obnoxious.”
“Hey—!”
“Shhhh!” Leona, albeit quite swiftly, suddenly placed a firm hand against your mouth, causing you both to halt in place behind an unassuming stone wall, “I think the guards are coming…”
Your heart began to race with anticipation. If the palace guards had managed to catch you two escaping a chance to socialize at a royal event, you would never hear the end of it from your families. “... Do you hear them?” a worried whisper mumbled from your nervous figure.
“Mhm, could you keep watch over here?” the boy said as he bent down on his knees, concealing himself whilst facing the other direction, “I’ll go look on the other side.”
Trusting your dear—and sometimes reliable—friend, you peeked your head out from the wall, keeping watch just as Leona said to do. The gardens had been practically deserted; a stillness in the way the gentle wind blew past the branches had almost convinced you that there was, indeed, no one there.
Was he just… seeing things? you questioned. But your beastman friend would never, right? His senses were probably a thousand times more intuitive than yours. He’d never make such an obvious mistake.
“Uhm, Leona? I don’t think I see any—” you started as your small hand reached out to tap the boy, but not without noticing the way he had been draped against the wall, seemingly knocked-out unconscious as a barely even noticeable drop of drool spilled from his snoring mouth.
“Leona, you lazy wimp!!”
♡the friend you see at one specific place♡
“Are you done yet?”
“No, (Y/n), I am not,” a young octopus-like boy stated as he simultaneously juggled numerous books and papers on all ten of his limbs, particularly focused on the words written on each page. He sat on his own within a shadow-crested octopus pot and looked as if he had not come out of the pot in ages, you observed. Concerning, but nothing new, you thought. “And I won’t be done until far later,” he said, scrunching his face together, “What do you want?”
You mindlessly began poking at a piece of coral, paying no mind to the boy’s slight sass to his tone. “Nothing~ I just thought I could find you here. Turns out I was right.” You watched as Azul helped himself to another book from his rather tall pile, closing another to add to his collection. “Studying again, I see,” a knowing look then escaped your form as your eyes lit with a teasing shine, “Plotting something against me, Azul?”
“I wouldn’t rule out the possibility,” he replied halfheartedly, “Especially if you keep coming here to disturb me.”
You exclaimed, feigning offense, “Never! I’m simply keeping you company.” The boy then peered up to you as you swam closer to him, reminiscing the earlier days of your friendship. “I still remember the first time I saw you here, crying on your own. The growth you’ve had since that day really is admirable—“
“Enough,” Azul shot you an annoyed glare, “It was already unfortunate for you to first meet me as tears welled from my eyes; there’s no need to sugarcoat the memory.”
Jumping at Azul’s assumptions, you worriedly began to amend any insecurities that struck the young boy beside you. “I’m not sugarcoating anything! And crying in front of me that day was nothing to be ashamed of. If I hadn’t heard your voice coming from the pot, I would’ve never come back here each day, let alone know of your existence in the first place.” You let your palm reach forward to hold his—quite soft—face, allowing your innocent touch to spread to him. “You have grown. But it’s okay to cry too, okay?”
“Alright,” Azul mumbled, face still remaining in your small hands. “Anyway,” he continued as he pulled away from your arms, “do you plan on returning home soon? Your family may worry.”
“No, it’s fine,” you shrugged as a soft ocean current moved past the locks of your hair, “I’ll stay here.”
“You don’t have to—“
“I want to.”
Azul had gazed back at you, almost stunned. “If that is what you wish, then be my guest,” he complied.
You then gave him a gentle smile, “Of course.”
♡the friend you find when you are lost♡
“(Y/n)~! Wait for me!” Kalim said, hollering out to your speeding figure under the golden glow of the Scalding Sands as shadows of the plentiful buildings stretched out with the lowering evening sun. What time it exactly was, you did not know. All you had known was that there was still an ample amount of time for you and your new friend, Kalim, to explore the world around you—seeing as the young boy was just as excited as you.
“The town waits for no one, Kalim! It was made for adventure!” you shouted back behind you, almost leaving the white-haired boy for the dust if he had not caught up sooner. “If there’s one thing you should know about this place, it’s that! Or…” a thoughtful pause then cut between your rambles as you stopped in your tracks, “That’s what my grandparents always tell me, at least. Who knows.”
Kalim—who was now standing beside you—then gave you a grin that could send rays of sunshine to shame with its brightness, “Jamil always tells me to never venture to the town, though; maybe he just doesn’t know the kinds of fun that await here!”
“Eh, I know I’ve never met the kid,” warily, your hand began to reach for your other in concern for your newfound companion, “but this Jamil dude doesn’t sound too… fun.”
“Of course he is, he’s my friend!”
“I know he is, but look at us!” you said as you threw your arms up in the air, exclaiming, “We just met today after I saw you wandering off into Sevens knows where, but we still have fun! Jamil, on the other hand, sounds like he stops you from any kind of fun. What kinda friend does that?”
Kalim, still seeming to be unfazed by your concerns as he let out a laugh, shot you his millionth smile of that day, “He means well!”
“I’ll be the judge of that,” you muttered. “Anyway, enough of that! There’s this really cool area in the alleyways I know that’s perfect for—”
“Kalim!” an unknown voice was then heard not too far from the both of you, “Where have you been?!”
“Jamil! There you are!” the young boy to your left called out to the voice as the mysterious figure treaded closer and closer—but not without you tensing up with caution. “This is my new friend—” Kalim started, cheerily pointing towards you.
“I deeply apologize, but there’s just no more time to waste,” the unknown figure, who you now saw had long locks of dark hair, paid no mind to you as he fretted over your giggling friend, “You’re lucky our families haven’t realized you were gone just yet or I’d never hear the end of it. Come, now. We have to get back quickly.”
“Oh, okay!” Kalim swiftly replied as he waved back enthusiastically to you, “I’ll see you again, (Y/n)!”
Yelling your final goodbyes, you saw as the forms of the two children around your age hastily walked back to wherever their home resided, silhouettes following after with the sky setting in front of them.
Although despite the day concluding on its own, you never could understand why Kalim’s friend, Jamil, was so protective over him. Sure, you thought, the young boy could be a tad oblivious at times—that you could admit—but going so far as to act as a caretaker for the boy as opposed to being a friend? It’s not like Kalim was the son of a very impactful family that needed protection. He’s just a normal kid for Seven’s sake!
Right?
♡childhood rivals♡
Vil Schoenheit had had enough.
Why out of all the students who attended this dance studio, he had to be partnered with you? The young boy had always thought this, what with you two being dance partners despite the clear friction between the both of you since he could remember. The only reason Vil had ever found himself tolerating it was because of the sole fact of your dance instructor’s judgment. You were talented, he reluctantly admitted. And rehearsing with you out of all people would only benefit his own skills in the arts if he ever wished to get anywhere with his strive for perfection.
The pursuit of beauty knows no bounds, Vil thought as he adjusted the strap stabilizing his dance shoes.
“Vil!” a familiar—but scour inducing—voice then intruded on the boy’s preparation as he turned his face to look at your a-little-too-cheery-for-his-taste form. “It’s so nice to see that you’ve made it to today’s lesson! I remember you were absent last week because of an important commercial shooting, yes? We all missed your…” you halted yourself, unnecessarily emphasizing your words as if to discredit the compliments coming from your mouth, “treasured talent.”
Vil scoffed at your empty sweetness. “I’m sure you did, (Y/n).” The young actor tilted his chin up as if to search for his own thoughts while doing his best to cover the glare he dearly wished to give you at that moment, “Although, you’ll be out next week too, correct? I hear you’ve been casted in a children’s show as a special guest.” The blond-haired child then turned back to the straps of his shoes, mumbling to himself, “... That I also had auditioned for.”
Feigning ignorance to his bitterness, you continued carrying on the conversation with your precious dance partner—relishing the way he stared at you with envy at your obtained role in the process. “Ah, yes. Well, as you know, showbiz is showbiz, Schoenheit. Not all of us will get what we want,” you gave him a smile he could only read as a way to anger him even more. “Perhaps we’ll both be casted next time. That would be wonderful, would it not?”
“Indeed.”
A single clap from your instructor was enough for the entire studio to grow quiet, signaling the start of class as students began rushing to their places, “Alright, class, it’s time to begin! Places!”
You gave your partner a final grin as the room was filled with music to go with your warm up, “Don’t trip today, Schoenheit.”
“As if I ever would, (L/n).”
♡online friends who’ve never met♡
With technology constantly surrounding him, it was only natural for Idia to have met you in the online world. Where else would a shut-in like himself find some sort of social interaction he'd actually be willing to be a part of?
Gloomurai: korie! u wanna hop on midnite l8ter? live event drops tday
korie66: ayooooo korie66: im down. lez do it >:)
Gloomurai: nice Gloomurai: korie and gloomurai back at it again
Although, he supposed he didn't really know you. Sure, he knew the artificially curated version you would introduce yourself as within the chat logs on public servers. But he had never known the "IRL" version of you, let alone your real name. Still—Idia thought as he sat in front of his blue and black gaming set-up, monitor displaying another game he'd binge that night—it was still nice having a buddy to play numerous games with. A kid like him who had the same interests. A kid who also found freedom within the internet.
korie66: YOOOOOOO GLOOMURAI korie66: GET ON MAGITROPICA RN
Gloomurai: wht? y?
korie66: FREE STUFF
Gloomurai: DONT HAVE TO TELL ME TWICE
Both of your days were spent trading the best items, sharing tips for a new game level, or even just chatting for the fun of it. Each night Idia had even found himself eagerly shuffling to his room, shutting the door behind him, and turning on his PC just to make it in time for your scheduled co-ops.
Eventually, you and Idia had found yourselves much more open with one another as well; a certain kind of trust that could only form with the number of years you had played together. What was the point in finding real-life friends, the young Idia thought as he snagged a bag of chips to eat while playing with you, if he had you to spend time with instead? One friend was all he needed, and you filled that roll perfectly!
Gloomurai: YESSSSSESEES LETS GOOOOO
korie66: NICE GOING GLOOMI~~ WE TOTALLY BEAT THAT LAST BOSS LEVEL LMAO
Gloomurai: YEAH Gloomurai: FR THE BEST DUO
korie66: I SWEAR IM NEVER DITCHING U, GLOOMI korie66: CANT DO ANYTHING W/O YOU LOL
Gloomurai: U BETTER NOT HAAHAHAHAJ
This was all he needed. Your friendship was all he needed.
Idia—now a third year student and housewarden at Night Raven College—sighed as he closed the latest game he'd been playing, cracking his back as he stretched like cat waking up from a deep sleep. Determining it was far too early for bedtime, however, the young man had decided it was a good hour to clear out his PC's memory. It was about time. It had been a while.
Scrolling and deleting through file and files, memories, and unused downloads, Idia had found nothing of importance to him and trashed everything in his path. That is, until he spotted a familiar chat log that read UNSTOPPABLE DUO hidden deep within his message history.
The Ignihyde housewarden gazed at the chat name he knew all too well. A certain feeling then began to rise within his chest as his hand subconsciously guided his mouse towards the familiar icon of your profile picture, still the same as it was years ago.
This is a really bad idea, Idia voiced in his mind. Yet, despite being against his own actions, Idia watched as his own hand clicked your name—only to spot a sea of red text blaring through the screen as he peered at the pixels of his computer:
korie66: Last Active 10 years ago. . .
Idia slumped over in his chair at the text, dejected, "I don't know why I even tried."
Shutting off his monitor, the blue-haired boy then stood from his chair and begrudgingly marched back to his bed, concluding his late night. He hadn't known what he was even expecting, at that point. He'd long knew of your inactivity; it's not like he didn't know what he'd see.
It really was just a shame you never had a chance to meet each other, Idia thought. He supposed, though, that some people were never meant to truly remain friends, to remain together.
And you were no exception to that.
♡the friend you meet by accident♡
“OH SEVENS NOT AGAIN—”
“Hm?” Malleus, who had been peacefully reading a book during his break from his studies, suddenly peered up from his spot in the palace gardens at the alarming shouts coming from the sky. It had been a relatively clear afternoon; one with few clouds in the atmosphere and very few birds soaring above, which only left the young fae even more curious at the panicking screams he could catch from his place beside the flower beds. Gently placing his now discarded book down to the grass, Malleus then made his way closer to the figure as a blur of (h/c) fell from the sky and into a nearby bush.
Thud!
“Ugh, I knew trying that spell would be a total fail,” the figure, who Malleus could now make out as a fae child around his age, dwelled as they rubbed a couple bruises on their arms, healing themselves. “I guess this is what happens when I don’t listen to Mother, but—"
“Ahem,” Malleus cleared his throat, finally gaining the child’s attention.
“AAAHHH—” you screamed again, only this time with shock at the sight of another living being around you. “Gosh, don’t scare me like that! What if my magic went all kapooey on you?! What would happen then?” you scolded the rather tall boy as you stood up from your previously injured state—skin now pristine due to your magic.
“Hm…” the dark-haired boy before you contemplated your words, “Then I suppose going ‘kapooey’ wouldn’t be very good for me, correct?”
“Exactly! I’m glad we’re on the same page.” You turned your body away from the boy as you inspected your dirt-stained clothes, wincing at the rips caused from your fall into the bush. “I don’t even want to imagine what Mother would do to me if she found out I’d harmed another fae—another child at that, too! Although,” your eyes then followed up the fae’s face and pointed its attention straight towards the two black horns resting atop his head, “you do look a bit different than me… Where are we right now?” No other fae from where you were from had any such horns like his; you were sure of it! You must’ve landed in another land other than your own, if that were the case.
But where, exactly? You thought.
“Briar Valley,” the horned-boy swiftly replied, “The palace, to be exact.”
“Briar Valley?! I must have traveled further than I thought, then!” a frazzled exclaim escaped your mouth as you struggled with your hands to prepare whatever spell had gotten you there in the first place. “I have to go right away! So sorry for intruding, uh…” a hesitant pause ensued as you held out a hand to the child, signaling an introduction from him.
“Malleus. My name is Malleus,” he softly gave you a smile.
You returned his smile with a grin of your own, shaking his hand, “Right. Thank you, Malleus. I’m (Y/n).”
“It was no issue.”
And with your final goodbyes to the fae you’d just met, Malleus then stood and followed your form as you disappeared to Sevens know where. The only remnants left of your presence were the gold, sparkling specs of magic that remained after you casted your spell, filling the palace garden with dust that resembled stars scattered throughout the greenery. Malleus, at the sight of your magic, had then begun to wonder just where you had come from and why you had landed there that day as quickly as you left.
The chances of seeing you again were slim. Still, however…
“(Y/n),” Malleus had whispered to himself.
“A lovely name for a fae such as themselves, yes?”

what about reader (jj's sister) and rafe getting into a fight and they go to a party separately, and reader makes him jealous and he ends up exposing them to the pogues and it's huge fight
omg this is such a fun idea! idk if i did it justice but I hope you like it <3
family feud
a/n: this isn't exactly canon rafe bc this rafe isn't fully insane so sorry if that bothers you lol. i wrote this for a fem reader and reader wears a dress but imagine whatever you want :) also sorry, jj is kind of an a-hole in this one :(
pairings: rafecameron x reader, brotherjjmaybank x sisterreader, platonicpogues x reader
summary: rafe pisses you off, you got to a party and piss him off... but what happens when jj, your brother, finds out about him?
I'm mad. I'm really fucking mad. I want to piss Rafe off just as much as he pissed me off. The one day a month that my house is empty and we can actually spend time together, Rafe ghosts me and goes fucking golfing. So yeah, I go to the party in a dress that he got me, one he wanted me to wear for him. So…. I wear it to dance with Pope. Pope and I will never see each other like that, we're like siblings, but he’s the only pogue who knows and is even slightly ok with Rafe and I dating. He still hates him, so he’s enjoying this. I catch a glimpse of him. His eyes are dark and he’s staring, a red solo cup in his hand. He nods at me to come over, I shake my head and focus on dancing. The music is loud, really loud. My feet hurt from dancing and honestly I want to make up with Rafe. I want to be near him. I want to stop ignoring his texts. His hundreds of texts. His hundreds of calls.
I had to start leaving my phone at home he was calling me so much. I feel bad, but the idea of reconciling with him feels far-fetched and I'm not bothered to text him back. I don't even know where my phone is.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“He’s looking,” Pope shouts over the music. I haven't seen Rafe for an hour, I don't even see him now.
“Let him look!” I chuckle back. “He fucking deserves it!”
Is this the best way to communicate my feelings? No. Should I probably just tell Rafe how upset I am? Maybe, but knowing him he’d just treat me like one of his groupies, which I am not. I’m his girlfriend of 8 months.
I feel a hand grab my arm and I gasp. I look up to see Rafe.
“What the fuck is your problem?” I hiss, trying not to draw attention to ourselves. Pope steps away, saying something about getting another drink.
“You. You’re my fucking problem. You come here, in that fucking dress I bought you and you dance with Pope fucking Heyward. You don’t give me any fucking attention after I’ve been blowing up your phone for days,” He’s mad. He’s really fucking mad.
“Sorry, I was too busy,” I smirk, snatching my arm back.
“Busy doing fucking what exactly?” He smiles one of his bitter-angry smiles and my sense of pride strengthens. I’m making Rafe Cameron mad. I’m making Rafe Cameron jealous.
“Golfing,” I smirk and his face drops.
“That’s what this shit is about?! If you would’ve just fucking asked baby- I would’ve come over, and none of this would’ve fucking happened! I wanted to be with you that day- fucking Topper pissed me off all fucking day- baby, you should’ve told me-” He gets cut off by a swift punch to the face.
“Get the fuck away from my sister Rafe, or I’ll kill you myself,” Jj shouts, John B holding him back. Rafe gets up from the ground, I can see how furious he is and I grab his hand, leading him away from my brother. He obliges and follows behind me. I weave him through the party-goers, Kiera and Jj shouting my name as we slip away. I bring him into the bathroom, sitting him on the counter as I search for a first-aid kit.
“He shouldn’t have done that,” Rafe sighs, his breathing sporadic. “Topper, he’s- he’s gonna- he’s gonna beat him u-up. He-he’ll kill him i-if he gets the chance.”
I look up at him, first-aid-kit in hand. “Baby, breathe. I’ll text him now.” I take out my phone and send Topper a message, making him promise to not touch my brother or friends. He promises he won’t, but I know better and tell him to get the car started and that I’ll bring Rafe out to him in a few minutes. “See,” I show Rafe the messages. “He’s going to the car.”
“Ba-baby I’m so sorry,” His eyes start to water, and my heart breaks. “I shouldn’t have-”
“It’s ok Rafe. I was just mad, I’m sorry,” I smile and start to clean his cut lip. His hands find their way to my waist, holding me gently.
“I love you,” He blurts out and I drop my hand from his face. His face goes red and he looks down, I smile. Rafe Cameron; Kook King- loves me. Hm.
“I love you too handsome. But right now, let’s focus on not getting mauled by my brother again, yeah? Let’s get you to the car and then home,” I smile and kiss his cheek, taking his hand to bring him home. He nods and follows. Outside the bathroom is Jj.
“What the fuck are you doing with him?” He grunts, stopping us from walking by.
“We’ll talk about this later Jj-”
“We’ll talk about this now,” He pushes.
“Jj, fuck off!” I push past him and bring Rafe behind me. We get out of the house to the backyard where almost everyone is and I hear Jj practically scream my name. Everyone looks either to him or me and Rafe and I sigh.
“Jj please-” I try but he cuts me off.
“You wanna tell me what’s going on between you two? Or do I have to ask around?” Jj shouts and grab someone’s collar, “You know somethin’?” The guy shakes his head, cowering back. He drops him and walks closer.
“Jj, stop being a dick-”
“We’re dating. We have been for 8 months,” Rafe pipes up from behind me and Jj’s mouth drops open. He lunges forward, but instead of getting to Rafe, he knocks me to the ground. My head hits the hard ground and I whimper in pain. Rafe is immediately by my side.
“You’re ok baby, don’t worry, everything’s going to be fine,” he soothes as he cradles my head in his hands.
“Rafe,” I start to cry into his touch as I feel Jj’s hand in mine.
“I-I’m sorry,” Jj sighs. “I’m so sorry.”
“Dude, back up,” John B pulls Jj away as Rafe helps me up.
“Can we go home?” I whisper to Rafe as I wrap my arm around his bicep, holding onto him for steadiness.
“Of course baby.”
I knew I would inevitably have to deal with Jj but tonight, tonight is for Rafe and I.

The Two C's
Word Count : A little over 1k Summary : Joel catches you smoking on your porch. Set in Jackson after the events of TLOU. Short and sweet Tags : Smoking, mentions of death, fluff, allusions to smut.
“Those’ll kill you you know?” Joel’s voice pulled out of your daydream. Well, more like a night-dream. You had crept out of bed after tossing and turning for what seemed like hours. As you put your coat on to head outside, you felt the pack of camels in your pocket. One thing led to another and now here you stood, feeling like a teenager caught with stolen cigarettes.
“Jesus Joel.” You coughed, smoke coming out of your lips in short spurts. You raised a hand to your heart as your other grasped a cigarette. His eyes flicked from yours to your cigarette, a seemingly disapproving gaze on his face. “Ah, yes the two C’s of the end of the world, Cigarettes and Clickers.” You teased pulling the stick back to your lips. You breathed in, the smell of sweet tobacco filling your lungs, along with the nicotine.
“I’m serious, you should cut that shit out.” Joel said walking up next to you, he leaned his elbows on the railing of your porch. You must have woken him up, his voice still heavy with sleep. You rolled your eyes, big protective Joel coming to your ‘rescue’ again.
“After this pack I’ll quit.” You joked, he shook his head staring out into the street. It’s not like you come across a pack every day, you couldn’t walk down to the convenience store and buy your fill. “Come on,” You turned to him, a meek smile on your face. You held your cigarette out to him, his eyes drifted from your face to the stick.
He sighed, taking it out of your fingers before bringing it to his lips. You smirked, knowing he couldn’t resist the temptation. It looked like he wanted to scold you, but then he’d just be a hypocrite.
“You’re a bad influence.” He chuckled, blowing the smoke up towards the dark star filled sky.
“That’s why you keep me around, old man. I keep you young.” You said bumping your shoulder against his.
“Don’t know why else I keep ya around.” He teased smirking as he waited for your reaction. You scoffed, playfully hitting his shoulder. You looked back up at the stars, your mind drawing you back to a simpler time in your life. When it wasn’t you who was smoking, it was your father, as you two mapped out the constellations in the sky.
“I didn’t know you smoked.” Joel started, you could feel his gaze on you even if you didn’t look at him. You kept your eyes on the sky.
“I don’t really.” You said, shrugging your shoulders. “I just-“ you shook your head pulling your gaze away from the stars. “When I see them I can’t help but put them in my pocket and smoke every single one. For my dad, not for me.” You whispered the last sentence, looking down at your hands.
“He smoked?”
“Big time, mom always said it was gonna kill him. How wrong she was.” You chuckled sadly, wringing your hands together as you bit your lip. He nodded, staring up at the sky.
“Well then.” He finished the cigarette, dropping it to the ground before grinding it with the toe of his boot. “For your dad.” Joel said looking towards you with an all too knowing smile. One full of heartache but also happiness.
“He’d like you.” You said softly, leaning your head on his shoulder. He chuckled, his shoulder raising slightly.
“I don’t think so. Some old man preying on his young innocent daughter-“ you cut him off with a laugh.
“I’m by no means innocent, Miller.” You laughed, linking your arm through his.
“Alright his young beautiful daughter.” Joel corrected smirking at you before placing a kiss on your forehead. You leaned into his touch, letting him wrap his arm around your shoulder as he pulled you into his chest. “Can’t argue with that now can you?”
“No use,” You sighed, breathing him in, “I’m serious though. He’d like that you take care of me. Watch out for me no matter how stubborn or stupid I’ve been.” You said, snaking your arm around his waist.
“You ain’t been that bad.” He chuckled, “Besides you do the same for me.” He shrugged, kissing your forehead again. “Tell me when I’m being a jackass or need to pull my head out of my ass.” You chuckled, moving your head to kiss him. Your hand cradled his cheek, his stubble lightly scratching your palm.
“Guess we make a good team.” You said rubbing his cheek with your thumb.
“That we do sweetheart.” Joel said, pulling you closer by your waist. You both turned you attention back to the night sky, enjoying the comfortable silence.
“Never thought we’d get here.” You sighed.
“What do you mean?” He asked, squeezing your shoulder lightly.
“All this, our own home in a regular town full of regular people. Where we don’t fight over scraps and go to bed full every night.” You chuckled, “A place where it’s safe to leave your doors unlocked and go out on your porch in the middle of the night.” You said motioning to the quiet street around you.
“It is hard to believe,” Joel said softly, taking your hand in his.
“I just feel like I’m gonna wake up from all this someday. Be back in my shitty apartment in the QZ.” If you could even call it an apartment, more like a hole in the wall.
“Hey,” He soothed, brushing a stray strand of hair behind your ear. “We worked hard to be here. We deserve to be safe, you deserve to feel safe.” You nodded, leaning into Joel as he pulled you into a hug. “I love you.” He whispered, his head buried in your hair.
“I love you too.” You mumbled into his chest, holding onto his nightshirt.
“Now come back to bed, it’s cold as shit out here.” He said pulling away his hand on the small of your back as he led you inside. You laughed, kicking off your shoes as you hang your jacket up. “And you better share the rest of those cigarettes with me.” He said slapping your ass as he made his way upstairs.

Camp Wiegman-Part 50
Lucy Bronze x Ona Batlle
Alternative Universe : Military School
Words : 6k
Masterlist
———————————————————————
Friday, February 12 - At Jenni’s place.
I bite my lip to stifle my smile. The image Lucy presents is funny, but I don't want to make her scowl worse. It’s the first time I’ve seen her so impatient, tapping her best friend’s car hood.
“They’re obviously late,” she grumbles.
“They’ve only been gone ten minutes. They’ll be here soon.”
“It’s not funny,” she growls. “Stop smiling like that.”
My smile fades instantly; I don’t want to annoy her any further. Our vacation isn’t starting as I had imagined. Lucy’s been grumpy since I met up with her. She had a terrible morning, having to supervise a first-year student who was punished and left out in the rain. I hope she’s tougher than me and doesn’t fall sick. She was so chilled at noon that she had to stay under the shower for over fifteen minutes to warm up. We planned to leave right after our classes to have lunch in town with Alexia and Ingrid, but we ended up grabbing a sandwich to eat at the airport because we were short on time. It was a good decision, because even though Mapi’s plane was delayed, she managed to get out before we finished eating. Miraculously, we arrived on time for the meeting we had planned with Lucy’s friends. If we hadn’t, I can’t even imagine how Lucy would have been, seeing her already so wound up now. We were supposed to leave at 2:30 PM, but Jenni supposedly lost her phone in the apartment. Seeing Lucy’s worsening state, Alexia decided to go up and help Jenni search for it. I suggested to Lucy that we step outside to get some air to calm down, but it was a bad idea once our friends waiting in the other cars started teasing us by honking.
“I’m going to kill them.”
“Hey!” I exclaimed. “Calm down.”
I was about to put my hand on her back but held back when I saw her dark eyes. The others are openly mocking us. We decided to take three cars to avoid being crammed together with our luggage. Mapi is sharing a car with Ingrid and Aitana, who’s driving. As for the second car, there’s Mary, Caroline, and Beth. As for us, we’re riding with Jenni and Alexia. Lucy draws my attention with a sigh.
“I need a hug,” she mutters.
I smile as I open my arms to her. She leans into me, resting her head on my shoulder. This time, I gently rub her back.
“Come on, relax. We’re on vacation. We’ve been looking forward to this for so long.”
The week was tough. We were distant from each other most of the time. I didn’t understand the feeling of missing her, but according to Lucy, it’s just because it’s still the early stages of our relationship. We need to find a balance, and she’s probably right. It only made me more eager to finally be on vacation.
“Hmm... You’re right. I’m sorry for being so unpleasant.”
“You’re allowed to have a bad day.”
She nods before giving me a chaste kiss. The moment doesn’t last long as she returns to nuzzle into my neck. We stay like that until our friends return. Jenni is driving, so Lucy gave up the front passenger seat to Alexia and sat in the back with me. She’s the first to get into the car when they return.
“Did you find it?” I ask Ale.
“Yeah, it’s all good. How’s Lucy doing?”
“Not great, but she’ll be fine,” I reassure her.
“I hope so.”
I nod with a small smile to reassure her. I’m not worried about it. The ride will probably calm her down. I join Lucy in the back. The first thing I notice is that she’s moved my backpack that I had placed in the middle and also took off her jacket. Seeing this, I follow suit, figuring she’s right to make herself comfortable given the long drive ahead.
“How many hours do we have left?” I ask, thinking about it.
“A little less than 6 hours, I think.” Lucy says
“Could be worse,” Jenni replies as she settles in.
She also takes off her jacket. Something tells me they’ve traveled together a lot before, and I’m not sure how to feel about that. The GPS she activates pulls me out of my thoughts as it starts speaking. We’ll be the ones leading the way thanks to it. I realize I didn’t bring my headphone, but I quickly forget this detail when I hear the music playing. Jenni left the radio on with current hits. It’ll fill the silence since Lucy doesn’t seem to want to talk.
“Can I lie down?”
I’m surprised to hear her speak. She’s pointing at my lap, and I quickly understand her intention. I’m not sure how she plans to do it, but I nod in affirmation.
“Of course,” I confirm. “Come here.”
She unbuckles the shoulder strap of her seatbelt, leaving only the lower part fastened, then takes off her shoes and leans heavily against me. We shift to find our positions, and once we do, I hold her close, intertwining our hands. My free hand gently rubs her stomach in slow circles, which seems to soothe her judging by the long sigh she lets out. This week was pretty disastrous. If we didn’t share a room, we would have barely seen each other since she was so busy. The fact that she doesn’t want any affection during the day doesn’t help either. Plus, I had to meet with Wiegman. She wanted to make sure my night troubles were improving, and she confirmed that I’d be returning to my room after the holidays. I need to make the most of Lucy during this vacation. Looking up, I catch Ale’s reflection in the sun visor. She smiles at us, making me blush. This is the first time she’ll see us interact so closely, especially as a couple. I turn away and grab my scarf to use as a pillow against the window. Lucy, already dozing off in my arms, grumbles at my fidgeting. I apologize and stop moving. My head trembles slightly against the window, but not enough to be bothersome. I finally exhale softly, closing my eyes with a small smile on my lips as the car finally starts moving.
Friday, February 12 - Hotel.
I jump slightly when a hand touches my cheek. I look around, almost bumping into Lucy, who had finally slumped over me. The car is empty except for the two of us. She gives me a reassuring smile.
“We’re here.”
“Already?”
“Yeah,” she giggles. “It’s not a myth. You really sleep like a log. I didn’t dare wake you.”
I blush at her remark. I realize I had fallen asleep again for the entire trip. I imagine she didn’t.
“I don’t want to get up,” she tells me. “You’re really comfortable.”
“It’s not surprising with all this fat,” I joke.
Lucy gently smacks my thigh with a stern look, making me yelp in surprise.
“Don’t ever say that. It’s not true.”
She grimaces as she sits up. The position must have given her cramps. She swears as she stretches and unbuckles her seatbelt. I do the same, putting on my jacket and scarf.
“Bundle up well. It’s cold outside.”
I nod, agreeing with her. From what I can see, there’s a thick layer of snow outside. As soon as the door opens, a frigid gust invades the car. To think that in Manchester, everything was starting to melt. Here we are back in the snow. I smile at Mapi, who comes to greet me as soon as I step out.
“Did you sleep through the whole trip again, sleepyhead?” she teases.
“No using that nickname, it’s mine,” grumbles Lucy as she steps out of the car too.
I stifle a laugh when I see Mapi roll her eyes nonchalantly. From the latest updates I’ve gotten, the two have been getting along better thanks to Mapi’s support for my girlfriend. This only makes me happy. I was really worried about the opposite. Luckily, Mapi doesn’t push her on the subject. I would have sided with Lucy. She doesn’t give me many nicknames, so I plan to let her have exclusivity if that’s what she wants. For the past few weeks, she’s been calling me "princess" or even "baby" or "sleepyhead." These nicknames make my heart flutter. They really make me feel like we're together. It's not easy to realize that since we maintain a teacher/student relationship at school.
"Can you help me, baby?" Lucy calls as she takes out our suitcases.
"Yep," I reply, confirming. "See you later," I say to Mapi before leaving.
I help her with the last of our things before joining our friends, who are chatting at the entrance, waiting for us. We all go inside the lobby together to escape the cold, and I must say, we make quite a group, especially with the other girls. The place looked large from the outside, and now that I'm seeing the reception area, I find it stunning. It's a mix of modern decor and a chalet style, thanks to the wooden accents. I stay aside with Alexia and Mapi while Lucy goes up to the reception with a few friends. We have five rooms in total—one for each couple, and the last two will be shared by the four single girls.
"I think the receptionist has a little crush on you," Mapi teases.
I stop my observations, realizing she's talking to me.
"Huh? No way."
"No, I think she's right. He keeps glancing at you," Ale giggles.
I roll my eyes at their teasing. He’s going to be disappointed when he sees me in Lucy's arms later. I don't really plan on hiding my relationship with her during this trip. All our friends know about us, so there's no reason to. My curiosity gets the better of me, and I feel compelled to take a quick glance at him to see what he looks like. He was indeed looking at me, but when our eyes met, he quickly looked away. He seems to be around our age, if not closer to Lucy's age. I turn back to the girls, who are talking about how great this week is going to be. They say it’s going to be awesome, and I quickly agree before Mapi nudges me.
"What?" I groan.
"You're the one she's calling 'sweetheart.'"
"What are you talking about?"
I frown, following her nod toward Lucy. She’s waiting for me a little farther away, shaking our room key.
"Oh," I say, blushing. "See you later, then."
"Yeah, sure," my best friend mocks.
I grab my suitcase and roll it over to Lucy. She tilts her head and holds out her hand when I reach her. I take it without thinking.
"Did you call me 'sweetheart'?" I ask, feeling shy.
"Hmm," she smiles. "Do I not have the right?"
"Yes, yes," I say, blushing again. "It’s just new."
"True," she laughs. "I can stop giving you nicknames if you prefer."
"Oh no, no. I like it. It was just... unexpected."
"Alright," she laughs. "I'll make sure to continue if you like it. Come on, let’s go up."
"And the others?"
"We're meeting at the restaurant at 6:30."
"Oh, okay."
I glance back at the others for a moment before following Lucy to the elevators. She calls one with a button.
"Do you know if our rooms are next to each other?"
"I don’t think so, but they’re on the same floor."
"And where are we?"
"Room 322, on the third floor."
"Cool."
We step into the elevator, letting go of each other's hands as we turn around. I catch a glimpse of the lobby, where I notice the young receptionist watching us with a new look of embarrassment when I catch him.
"The girls think the receptionist has a crush on me," I share with amusement.
"Oh really?" she smiles. "Too bad for him that you're already taken."
I smile as she pulls me close and kisses me just as the doors close. Oh yes, I’m already taken by the most wonderful person. The doors open to our floor. We easily find our room, which Lucy unlocks. She had shown me photos on the computer, but the reality is much better. It's beautiful. Like the lobby, the room has a chalet style. Everything is made of oak wood, with anthracite gray walls that contrast with the light wood beams. It’s not very big, which makes the space feel cozy. I’m thrilled to share it with Lucy for a whole week. A huge bed, which looks super comfortable, takes up the middle of the room. Opposite it, there’s a TV mounted on the wall that I can’t resist touching.
"Don’t touch everything," Lucy scolds.
"But look, it moves."
I tilt it from right to left to show my discovery, making Lucy laugh.
"I know, baby," she says, taking off her jacket and placing it on top of her suitcase.
Ignoring her, I continue exploring the room. We have a sitting area with a sofa and an armchair, and there’s even a small terrace. When I turn around, I quickly join Lucy, who is in the bathroom. It’s slightly bigger than the one Lucy has at Camp Wiegman. There are double sinks, a shower, and even a large bathtub. I can already see myself relaxing in there. Lucy’s arms wrap around me from behind. I smile as she unzips my jacket. I lean into her to make it easier.
"A whole week just for us," she murmurs.
"Yeah."
I’m living in pure bliss. I step away slightly so she can slide my jacket off my shoulders. I take off my scarf myself and take my jacket to place it with my suitcase, which I had left by the door.
"Shall we unpack?"
"If you want, but there’s only one wardrobe."
"Is that a problem?"
I bite my lip, shaking my head. Oh no, not a problem at all. It’s more like a dream come true.
"No... We can share it."
"Good," she smiles. "It’s strange, isn’t it?"
"Yeah, totally," I giggle.
It’s unconventional, just like our relationship. We’re going to experience a lot of firsts here. The first thing is unpacking our things in this wardrobe. When we’re done, we still have a little time before heading down. So I flop onto our bed, spreading out like a starfish.
"Your shoes, sweetheart."
A smile spreads across my face, now that I’ve heard it. The situation doesn’t seem to amuse Lucy as much, judging by the look she’s giving me. I feel like a little kid sometimes.
"What’s making you smile like that?"
"The nickname. My God, the effect it has on me."
She raises an eyebrow with a small amused smile as I laugh.
"That doesn’t change the fact that you need to take off your shoes."
"Say it again, and I’ll take them off."
"That’s called blackmail."
"It’s not much. It’s either that, or you take off my shoes yourself."
"Fine, but it’ll cost you."
I hold out my foot with a silly grin. She takes off one shoe, then the other, letting them drop to the floor. Hers quickly join mine before she unexpectedly lies on top of me. I groan because she wasn’t delicate at all. Luckily, my bruises don’t hurt as much anymore, or I might have screamed in pain. She giggles as she kisses my nose.
"Sorry for being grumpy earlier."
"Don’t apologize. You have the right to be. You didn’t have the best morning," I say as I gently stroke her hair.
"You’re right, but still," she mumbles before sighing contentedly against my neck. "You didn’t need to put up with it."
She kisses my jaw softly before moving down to my neck. If she plans to apologize like this every time, I’m going to tell her she can be grumpy more often. In just a few weeks, she’s already discovered that this is one of my weak spots, at least from what she’s explored. She’s gotten into the habit of inflicting this sweet torture on me whenever she gets the chance in her room. I let out a surprised gasp when I feel her teeth nibbling at my skin before she sucks it between her lips.
"What are you doing?" I panic.
"Something I’ve never done but always wanted to try..."
"You’re not serious!"
I laugh as she continues. I don’t even try to push her away. Her hair tickles the tip of my nose. I let her finish as she soothes the small bite with her tongue. She kisses it before propping herself up on her elbows to admire her work with a proud smile.
"So, are you happy now?" I chuckle.
"Not bad for a first time," she laughs. "At least the receptionist will know you’re taken."
"I think he already figured that out, you know. Is this really the first time you’ve done that?"
"Yeah," she smiles.
"And you should know this is the first time I’ve ever gotten a hickey too."
"Really?" she raises an eyebrow. "I thought Mapi would’ve done that already."
"She did... But not in visible places, you see..."
"I’d rather not know. »
I bite my lip, understanding perfectly. Maybe this isn't the best topic for us to talk about together. She captures my lips one last time before standing up.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm going to get ready. We need to head down soon," she informs me as she heads into the bathroom.
"Oh..." I sigh. "Maybe we should've taken a vacation just for the two of us after all."
I hear her laugh from the other room, which makes me smile.
"You say that, but you'll be the first one who doesn't want to leave at the end of this week."
"You're probably right."
"I am right," she asserts. "You love spending time with your friends just as much as with me."
"It's frustrating how well you know me."
I hear her laugh again. I decide to join her, leaning against the door frame. She's just closing her makeup bag. She’s put on some lipstick and probably a touch of mascara. I blush, thinking she looks stunning.
"What are you thinking about?" she asks with a teasing smile.
"Nothing... Just that you're very beautiful."
"Thank you. You're not too bad yourself," she compliments me, smiling even more.
I clear my throat as I straighten up. I'm not used to openly expressing what I think, and even less so to accepting compliments. Lucy seems to understand this because she changes the subject.
"Should I leave you the bathroom?"
"Please."
We switch places, and she takes the opportunity to plant a kiss on my lips. She stays by the doorframe while I touch up my makeup. Suddenly, she seems deep in thought.
"What's on your mind?" I ask.
She takes a soft breath and shrugs.
"I feel a bit guilty. I compared you a lot to Kiera at the beginning."
I stop what I’m doing. It's the first time she's mentioned Kiera since the night we got together. I never pushed her because she never did it with me, but I wanted her to bring it up at least once. It’s important that we talk about it. I just didn't expect her to do it now.
"Why feel guilty? I don’t blame you. We’re somewhat alike. We were both junkies," I joke.
She shakes her head and sighs. It seems my joke didn't have the intended effect. I move closer to her and place my hand on her cheek. She lifts her head with a sad expression on her face. I begin to wonder just how much she thought we were alike. Seeing her like this tugs at my heart. The emotions she's experiencing are pure sadness. I don’t know how to react. Normally, she’s the one who reassures me.
"Exactly. I was scared when you’d go home. Kiera never wanted to stop, even after she tried to quit. She kept going back, again and again, and I was so terrified it would be the same with you."
I have tears in my eyes as she begins to cry in front of me. I've never seen her like this. She usually controls her emotions so well. Her broken voice shows me just how deeply all of this affected her. Panicking, I desperately kiss her. My gesture seems to be well received by the way she returns the kiss. I end up pressed against the furniture, and our exchange is rough. I wrap my arms around her neck to pull her closer.
"I'm so sorry," she says between sobs.
"Hey, shh," I say, wiping her tears with my thumbs. "It’s okay, alright? Please stop, or I'll start crying with you."
She chuckles, resting her forehead against mine. I realize she just needed to let it all out.
"I'm not Kiera. It’s not your fault that she didn’t want to be saved. I promise you, drugs and I are definitely over. You’re the only thing I could ever want—"
I stop, realizing what I’ve just said. Did I really just say that? Lucy laughs, making me aware of the weight of my words.
"I-I... That’s not what I meant," I stammer, blushing.
"Yes, it is what you meant," she teases.
"It’s embarrassing," I say, looking everywhere but at her, which makes her laugh.
"Baby, I’d be worried if you didn’t want me or if you were thinking about someone else... That’s not the case, right?"
"No," I chuckle. "You’re the only one."
"Hmm..." she says with a playful tone. "You’d better be."
I gasp when she tugs on my earlobe. Unintentionally, I rise onto my tiptoes. She takes advantage of it to press me harder against the furniture. She moves down to my neck, continuing her sweet torture. Damn, she’s good at this. I realize our situation when a moan escapes me.
"I— Luce... Please."
My desperate plea makes her stop immediately.
"Are you okay?"
"I... Yeah... I-I just need to finish up so we don’t end up late."
She smiles, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Sorry, I got carried away."
"Oh no, don’t worry."
"No, I’m sorry. I promised to take it slow, and I intend to keep that promise."
I sigh, nodding. She noticed my struggle, and I feel a bit guilty.
"If it’s something you want—"
"No," she shakes her head. "We don’t need to rush things. You went through a tough time, so we’ll take it slow. Anyway, we’ve only been together for two weeks. We need to get to know each other."
"You’re right."
"As always," she smiles.
She kisses me before pulling away suddenly, leaving a void I never thought I’d feel.
"Hurry up and finish. The quicker we’re downstairs, the sooner we can get back to our bed."
I smile, watching her leave. I guess that means our conversation is over. I quickly finish getting ready before joining her in the bedroom to put my shoes back on.
"Can I borrow a sweater? I’m starting to get cold."
"You didn’t bring one?"
"I’d like one of yours if you don’t mind," I say, biting my lip.
"Of course not. Help yourself," she says, nodding toward the wardrobe.
I quickly find a plain black wool cardigan that matches my sweater. Once I’m ready, we finally leave our room hand in hand. Lucy keeps the keys, and I fully intend to let her take care of that for the entire trip. I’d probably lose them. We arrive in the lobby. Lucy guides me toward the hotel restaurant with her hand on my waist. It’s the first time we can act as a couple in a week, and I plan to savor these moments.
"Have you been here before?" I ask her curiously.
"We came here last year. We liked it so much that we decided to come back."
"Did you bring someone...?"
"I was in a relationship, but no."
I don’t hide my pleasure. I’m the first person she’s brought here. I feel special. A waiter greets us upon our arrival. Lucy asks for the table that Jenni reserved for us. Once he finds it, he leads us there. Only Jenni and Alexia are already seated.
"I thought you’d be the first ones here," Jenni says. "You’re slipping, Luce," she teases.
"I have a girlfriend who’s not very punctual," she laughs.
"Hey! It wasn’t my fault this time! Besides, we’re on time, and it’s been a long time since I was last late."
"Thanks to whom?" she brags.
"I’m not going to respond to that provocation."
She chuckles as I slide onto the bench next to Alexia. Lucy takes the last available spot on the bench.
"Did you two get settled in well?" Jenni asks.
"It seems they did..." Ale hints with a smug smile.
I don't immediately understand where she's going with this until I see her staring at my neck. I blush and pull up the collar of my cardigan to hide Lucy's hickey. I regret not thinking to bring a scarf. Her smile widens, but she doesn’t say anything that might make us uncomfortable. We start chatting while waiting for the others. Lucy has decided to stick close to me tonight. Her hand rests on my thigh. I take advantage of this position by leaning into her as she talks mostly to Jenni. It’s clear they share a deep bond by the way they interact. Her friends gradually join us, bringing with them a lively atmosphere. Of course, the last ones to arrive are Mapi and Ingrid, who sit across from us.
“Now you know why I’m always late,” I say to Lucy. “Mapi’s the one who made me like this.”
“Why am I not surprised?”
“Hey, Lucy, instead of criticizing me, can we talk about how you went wild on my best friend? You're lucky she let you. I didn’t get that kind of treatment.”
I kick Mapi under the table, and she doesn’t hide her pain. I can’t believe she’s talking so openly about our relationship in front of our two girlfriends.
“Did you two date?” Aitana asks.
“Yeah, we were together, and I’m kind of annoyed to know that some people get more privileges than others!”
This time, she gets a smack on the back of the head from Ingrid.
“You're playing with fire, Girl. You’d better drop this conversation if you don’t want to sleep on the floor tonight.”
I bite my lip to suppress a smile when I see Mapi’s dismayed expression. This relationship must be quite different for her compared to her previous ones. Contrary to what I might have thought, Ingrid isn’t someone who can be easily pushed around. It’s surprising because I’ve always known Mapi as the dominant one in her relationships. That was the case with me, as she initiated everything, and I got the impression it was the same with Ana.
“Sorry, honey.”
“Hmm... Sure.”
“Hey, relax, guys,” Ale interjects. “Aren’t we here to have a good time?”
The girls across from us remain slightly tense until a waiter arrives to take our order. It’s the receptionist from this morning. He smiles at me timidly, but I don’t pay much attention.
“What are the specials again?” Ingrid asks.
“Uh, well…”
He flips through his little notebook. I deduce he’s a trainee from the way he’s handling things. He lists all the specials he’s noted down. Some of them sound pretty good.
“The first one was white wine, right?” Mapi asks.
“Yes, that’s correct,” he replies. “It’s slightly sweet, if that’s what you like.”
“Oh! That’s for us, Ona!” she exclaims, looking at me.
“Umm... Yeah.”
“That’ll be two glasses of white wine for the two of us,” Ingrid starts, pointing to Mapi and herself.
Everyone else makes their choices. The girls all opt for beers. Alexia orders the same as the girls, and then it’s our turn. I’m also tempted by the wine, but I’m not sure Lucy would appreciate me drinking alcohol.
“Scratch the glasses and bring us a bottle of white wine with five glasses,” Lucy beats me to it.
I glance at her from the corner of my eye. She smiles at me, gently stroking my hair.
“Why are you looking at me like that? Would you prefer something else?”
“Oh no, no… I’m just surprised, that’s all.”
“As Alexia said, we’re here to enjoy ourselves, right?”
“You’re right... Thank you.”
She smiles before kissing me. It’s the first time she’s kissed me in front of her friends, so it throws me off a bit. When we pull apart, the waiter has disappeared, and the others have resumed their conversation. We join in until the waiter returns with our drinks. I’m so caught up in my conversation with Ale and Mapi that I don’t notice him. But then a cold liquid splashes onto my thighs, making me jump.
“Sh-shit, shit, shit!” the waiter mutters under his breath. “I’m so sorry! It was an accident!”
“Damn it…” I sigh, standing up.
Drops are dripping onto the floor; I’m that soaked. He spilled the entire bottle on me. I’m going to smell like wine all evening because of him. Luckily, I’m not wearing anything white. Another waiter who saw the scene quickly comes over to scold the trainee, who starts to panic.
“I’m sorry, I’ll help you,” he says, stepping forward.
“I’ll take care of it,” Lucy intervenes, gently pushing him away.
I give him a sympathetic smile to reassure the trainee a little after my girlfriend’s attitude. On the other hand, I’m relieved that Lucy stepped in. It’s not like I would have been comfortable with strangers touching me. He takes a few steps back with a crestfallen look while Lucy wipes my pants with napkins.
“Please excuse him, miss. He’s new, still in training. He’ll be severely punished, I assure you.”
“It was an accident; it happens,” I say to lighten the mood.
I lower my eyes to Lucy, who sighs. Our eyes lock immediately. For a moment, I fear that grumpy Lucy is back. I run my hand through her hair at the nape of her neck to relax her. Her muscles do indeed loosen under my hand.
“You need to change. Otherwise, you’ll reek of alcohol all night.”
“Okay, I’ll go up.”
“Can we at least get the cost of a dry cleaning for her clothes?” she asks the waiter.
“Of course, and we’ll bring you a new bottle and offer a second one as compensation.”
“Good. So I suppose this young man won’t need to be fired if that’s what you were planning.”
The waiter simply nods in response to Lucy’s request. I don’t know much about the restaurant or hotel industry, but when something like this happens in movies, it’s usually the punishment that’s expected for the person. So I’m glad my girlfriend took the initiative and saved him from that. I wouldn’t have wished it on him.
“Alright,” she sighs. “Let’s go up.”
I take her hand that she offers and let her lead us out of the restaurant before she changes her mind. We head back to our room. I didn’t expect her to accompany me, but it’s nice of her. The first thing I do when the door shuts is kiss her. She growls, gently pushing me away.
“Take off your clothes before you jump on me.”
“I won’t comment on that innuendo.”
“It’s not my fault you have a dirty mind,” she challenges with a raised eyebrow.
“Sure,” I giggle, unbuttoning my jeans.
I sit down to remove them along with my shoes. I also take off Lucy’s cardigan, which got splashed.
“Can I jump on you now?”
She laughs, leaning in to kiss me again.
“You’re a hopeless case, Miss Batlle.”
“And you’re one to talk? I saw the way you looked at the waiter as we were leaving.”
“He deserved it,” she defends herself. “It’s the least after what he did to you.”
“He’s probably traumatized, poor guy.”
“Whatever. I saved his job, didn’t I? Now, hurry up and change so we can go back down.”
“Hmm... You know you don’t have to worry about him, right?” I ask as I head to our closet.
“Of course. Stop thinking I’m jealous of everyone,” she rolls her eyes, making me giggle.
I put on a new pair of jeans and end up changing into a warmer sweater to replace Lucy’s cardigan. When I’m done, I turn to see Lucy waiting for me on the bed, head tilted. She’s irresistible the way she looks at me. I’m really glad that almost all the scars Korbin gave me have disappeared. I can finally feel at least a little bit pretty for her. I join her to put on my shoes.
“Sorry about your cardigan.”
“There’s no need to apologize. We’ll just send everything to the dry cleaners.”
“Yeah. I didn’t know you were such a good negotiator.”
“Now you know,” she smiles. “Let’s head back down.”
I steal a kiss from her before we return to the restaurant. Everything has been cleaned up, and the bottles have been brought out for the girls’ enjoyment. The evening continues as usual until a discreet throat-clearing interrupts us. We all turn towards the receptionist, who looks like he’s in a state of panic.
“I-I wanted to apologize,” he starts, staring at his feet. “Th-that accident shouldn’t have happened… I didn’t mean to offend you or do my job poorly. I was clumsy a-and…”
The poor guy is scared to death. I imagine it’s his boss who sent him over.
“I-I also wanted to thank you for saving my job…”
“There’s no problem,” I reassure him warmly. “It’s already ancient history.”
“We’ll have the clothes returned to you tomorrow morning,” Lucy tells him.
“No, don’t worry about it. The housekeeper will take care of it when she cleans your room tomorrow morning. They’ve already been informed.”
He seems to relax since Lucy spoke. A friendly exchange takes place between them. He then leaves with a small smile on his face. That conversation must have reassured him. Our first evening resumes when a new waiter comes over to take our orders. I get the feeling we’ve become some sort of VIPs.
We were quickly served, and they offered us the aperitif. Conversations resumed about the activities we could do during our stay. I can tell we're going to have an amazing time with everything there is to do here. I plan to make the most of it, especially since this is our first vacation together with Lucy.

My state is currently getting throttled with a massive storm and since I’m stuck inside, I’ve been bored as hell so why not write some of the stuff I’ve had ideas about?? Very short because I’m exhausted but yeahhhhh. Requests are open! :)
Word Count: 1230
Lyney, the renowned magician of Fontaine that everyone knew and adored. The same Lyney that came home every night, always exhausted but a smile graced his face regardless.
The soft moments shared in the evenings and through the night into the early hours of the day- the memories once were enough to bring butterflies to your stomach.
But now?
A crushing weight fell to your shoulders as you stood in the Opera Epiclese, observing the trial that took place. Of course, you knew Lyney was innocent- there was no way he would've killed someone.
“Tell me.” Furina’s voice cut through your thoughts, “Aren't you and Lynette actually from the House of the Hearth?”
You froze, eyes wide and breath catching in your throat. The House of the Hearth? The Fatui?
Lyney, the sweet magician who always pulled flowers from nowhere as a gift. Your sweet boyfriend who you thought could do no wrong…
Was of the Fatui?
Everyone in the opera house seemed shocked- most questioning Lyney’s innocence. But you sat frozen in your spot, eyes wide and staring blankly ahead.
During the years of being with Lyney, he had never once brought up such a detail. Why would he keep such important information away? Was it all a lie? Some sick, twisted game to him?
The rest of the trial was a blur in your zoned-out state. Everything seemed to blur together and you barely knew what was happening until you were walking on shaky legs from the auditorium.
Hasty footsteps from behind with a soft call of your name fell on deaf ears. It was only when a hand gently touched your shoulder that you finally snapped out of it, eyes flickering up to meet with familiar violet orbs.
Lyney.
“Hey,” he said in a low voice, worry lacing into it, “are you okay?”
How could you be? You just found out that your boyfriend was a part of the Fatui. That wasn't the problem, however. The problem was that such information was revealed by the Hydro Archon herself. In the middle of a court case.
Mouth opening to reply, words seemed to get caught on your tongue, mind drawing a blank.
“Why didn't you tell me..?” You asked finally, voice small and eyebrows furrowed.
The blond swallowed thickly, “I-” he seemed to struggle with words for a moment, “I swear, I didn't mean any harm by not telling you- I just-”
“Chose to keep such an important detail away from the person you're supposed to trust the most?” You asked, cutting him off. Internally, you winced at the sharp tone.
Lyney’s eyes grew wide, “It's not that I didn't trust you! I just- I didn't know how to tell you!” his voice was borderline pleading, “Please, I’m sorry I didn't tell you.”
“I..” You frowned, “What else did you lie about..? Was this... Was this relationship a lie too?” The question left your lips before you could even stop it, tumbling off your tongue like a wave of water.
“Of course it wasn't!” Came Lyney’s surprised reply, his hands moving to grasp yours delicately, “This relationship was never a lie- and still isn't.”
Even with Lyney’s sincere voice, doubt ate at the back of your mind. What if this was another lie? He lied for years about such a small detail- what else did he lie about?
“You..” Avoiding eye contact, your body stiffened when his gloved hands met yours. Holding hands with him once brought so much warmth and comfort- but now it left a heavy feeling settling at the bottom of your stomach.
Lyney shook his head as if knowing what you were going to say, “I didn't lie, Mon Cheri. I just didn't… Tell you this one detail. I’m still the same Lyney as before.”
“But are you..?” The waver in your voice caused you to curse inwardly, brave facade fading away. “How do I know that… that you're the same Lyney..?”
“Darling..” He whispered, eyes softening, “You are the only one who gets to see the real me. The real Lyney. It's reserved for you and you alone.”
Opening your mouth to reply, he cut you off by cupping your cheeks with his gloved hands, warmth seeping from the material.
Unable to resist the urge, you nuzzled into his touch, unconsciously pressing a soft kiss to his palm.
“I promise, I am the same Lyney that you have always seen. I love you and nothing has changed- none of this was a lie.” He sighed, a small smile gracing his lips as his violet orbs watched you place the kiss to his palm.
“I'm sorry I never told you, Mon Amore. I'll make it up to you, I promise.” Lyney’s eyes searched yours desperately.
Eyes drooping with a sigh, you looked up at him, “You better make it up to me.” You murmured, arms reluctantly moving to curl around his waist, “You owe me big time..”
He smiled, arms wrapping around you in a warm embrace, “That I do, that I do- I’ll do anything you ask until you forgive me! … Within reason, of course.” He gave a sheepish smile.
“No more secrets.” You murmured, giving him a stern look, “We need to trust each other… I don’t want to have to find out other things about you from the Hyrdo Archon herself- or anyone but you.” A sigh, “Promise?”
“Promise.” Came Lyney’s reply not even a moment later. His voice was serious, eyes determined. Right-hand raising, he stuck out his pinkie, a small smile forming on his lips.
“What are we, five?” You asked with a joking scoff, but you raised your hand to link pinkies with him regardless.
He smiled, pinkie squeezing yours, “If we are, you just agreed with it.” Gesturing to your linked pinkies, he laughed softly. His free hand moved to behind your ear, pulling out a flower as if out of nowhere.
“A beautiful flower for a beautiful person.” He winked, smiling. The flower was a Rainbow Rose, the scent mixing perfectly with Lyney’s and easily filling your senses. He gingerly tucked it into your hair, drawing a link hue to your cheeks.
“Now,” He hummed, “Shall we go out? I have a lot I must make up for-”
The blond was cut off by your arms wrapping around his waist again, head tucking below his chin and pressing against his chest. The soft thrum of his heartbeat was calming to listen to.
He paused, eyes widening before he smiled. One arm wrapped around you, the other raised with a hand gently carding through your hair, “Hey, hey. What's wrong, Mon Amore?”
“Just..” You whispered against his chest, “Let's stay like this for a bit... Please…?” Hands bunching up the fabric on his back lightly, your arms tightened slightly.
“Of course,” Lyney murmured with a smile, pressing a soft kiss to the crown of your head, “We can stay like this as long as you need. I’m here.”
And so there you stood, just outside of the Opera Epiclese and comfortably embraced in each other's arms.
Maybe Lyney did withhold details from you, but he was still your Lyney- a conclusion you had come to. While your trust was shattered, he was picking up the pieces and putting it back together.
It would take time, but with Lyney by your side, you knew everything would be okay.

Of Nightmares and Memories /five/ Azriel X reader
Series Warnings: Kidnapping. Mistreatment. Cursing. Pining. Violence. Depression. Talks of suicide. Eventual smut
Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four
They came not an hour later. You hid in your rooms like the coward you accused Tamlin of being. They didn’t put up a fight as Amerantha’s men, Rhys included, hauled them off towards the mountain. It left you in a state of dismay. Because with Tamlin gone, and the Faebane slowly leaving your system, there was no reason for you to stay here in Spring. You could easily run back to the night court and hide in one of the cabins your family owned. You could easily hide in the mountains and pray that one day Amerantha would meet her match.
Only you couldn’t bring yourself to leave. One day you tried, only to turn and vomit in the rose bushes. You then turned around and went back to your rooms and crawled under your covers. You stayed there and didn’t move for the rest of the day.
On the third day, Feyre showed back up. Much to your surprise, claiming to love Tamlin and willing to go under the mountain to save him. You rolled your eyes, but knew that love well. Because you would have given your wings if it meant seeing Az again.
“She’ll kill you,” You say from your spot at the kitchen doors, “The second she realizes you’re there, she’ll kill you. But she’ll draw it out, make it slow and painful.”
“Not helping,” Alis hissed at you.
“Who are you?” Feyre whips to face you.
You only smirk, “A friend. That’s all you need to know. Rhys might be your only hope.”
“Rhysand is a brute.”
“Perhaps,” You shrug, “But he wants out from under Amerantha as much as the next, only he has the power to make it happen.”
“What are you saying?” She questions.
“If he comes to you with a bargain, take it,” You tell her, “It could just save your life. Play his games, it might just save you from hers.”
“Don’t be a fool,” Alis said, “Don’t make any bargains.”
“Fine then, die and damn us all.”
“Why are you trying to help me?” Feyre asks.
“Because, dear human, I want to go home,” you said almost wistfully, “And I can’t as long as that bitch is in power.”
“Where is home for you?”
“The Night Court. But I’ve been held here for hundreds of years.”
“How old are you?” Her voice shook as she asked.
You only laughed and shook your head, “My age is of no concern to you. I’m not even sure I know it anymore anyway.”
Alis sighs from behind Feyre and gathers some supplies. you watch her carefully, wondering if she’s eager to send the poor human to her death, or if she hates the idea as much as you do. But you can only hope that Rhys will help her in any way that he can. You can only hope that he wants out as much as you think he does.
“If you ever feel alone, look towards the shadows,” You explain, “I’m not promising I’ll be there. But if I feel I can risk it-”
“Now that would be foolish,” Alis adds.
“Thank you, Alis,” I hiss back, “You should go, now. Mother knows what that Bitch has done to your precious Tamlin.”
The idea of him getting his happy ending made you sick again. The idea of him being able to be happy when he’s caused so much suffering….you almost couldn’t handle it. But if this meant Rhys and the other members of the Night Court could be free then you had to allow it to happen. You had to try to aid the young girl in any way that you could.
“Stick to the shadows,” You tell her, “You won’t get far once you enter, but always listen. And keep your wits about you.”
“Thank you,” She said in earnest.
You watched from the broken front door as Alis led her away. You weren’t sure you’d ever see the human again, but you weren’t sad to see her go. It felt like leading a lamb to the slaughter, but it had to be done. There wasn’t another choice. Not if you wanted to survive, not if you wanted everyone to be free again.
Each day you flung your powers out further and further, urging your shadows just a little further. They whispered back to you, telling you of what was happening under the mountain. How Feyre was dying, sick with fever and how Rhys came forth with a bargain. She headed your advice and took the bargain, marking her with a tattoo and a bond with Rhys.
Each day you tried to find a way to contact your brother, but you knew you couldn’t risk it. There was no way you could reach his mind from so far away, not with the lingering effects of years of Faebane still in your system.
You prayed that maybe Feyre would tell him about you and he would figure it out for himself and come for you once all of this was over. You prayed and prayed. There was nothing but silence. No news came. Your shadows were skittish, growing restless waiting for Amerantha to do something.
You lost weight from not eating. The lack of food would kill you eventually, and maybe that wouldn’t be such a bad thing. If Valaris parished and there was nothing left of the people you called family- no one left but Rhys who thought you were dead anyway…would death be so bad? It could all be over finally, and maybe the Mother would be so kind as to bring you back to Az in the next life.
Three months. A mere blip in your young life, but feeling like a lifetime nonetheless. It took three long months before you saw three figures coming up the road. They were moving fast, all three of them. Feyre, it seemed, was no longer human. Your shadows neglected to tell you that when they said she’d survived and Amerantha did not.
You made your way downstairs, towards the door which you’d managed to somewhat fix. None of them looked worse for wear, but you knew whatever Feyre had been through would stay with her for a long time. And Tamlin had the ornate ability to simply sweep things under the rug and forget about them. He would do the same with her.
She looked High Fae, smelled like it too. With traces of my brother. So small, almost undetectable, but there. Shimmering like the bond you knew they had. You wondered when he would call in his bargain, when he would take her away from this place and show her the splendor of the Night Court, the beauty of it.
“You’re still here,” Tamlin stopped, a scowl forming, “I set you free.”
“You set me free, perhaps, but I would have died before I made it back to my own Court. Safer to stay here until I could contact my brother.”
“That won’t be happening,” Tamlin said slyly, “Feyre, darling, why don’t you go inside with Lucien. I’ll be inside in a moment.”
Your eyes narrowed as she did as she was told. Lucien spared you a glance, pity swirling in his eye. It made a pit form in your stomach. You wouldn’t be leaving the Spring Court, you realized. You would be forced to stay here until the day you died, or until Tamlin finally decided to kill you.
Maybe you would make it your mission to push him as far as you could so he would kill you. Maybe then you could finally know peace, and not whatever it was that you knew now.
“I thought I was going to free you,” Tamlin took a step towards you, “But then your brother made that Bargain with Feyre, and made me look like a fool under the mountain.”
“So once again, I’m to become your bargaining chip?” I question, “What? Me for Feyre?”
“Perhaps.”
“I could mist you,” You hiss.
“Ah, but you can’t,” Tamlin laughs, “Because even after all this time, the Faebane is still in your system. You can’t even winnow, because if you could, you would’ve left by now.”
He surges forward and grips your cheeks in his hand. You yelp in pain before going completely still. You won’t let him have the satisfaction of seeing you in pain, or anything. He doesn’t deserve the satisfaction of it.
“You, little one, are going to be here for a very long time,” He squeezed your face harder, “And I’m going to enjoy finally breaking you.”
Little did he know, you were already broken.
“Go to hell,” You spit out.
“I was already there,” He smirked, “It didn’t take.”
“He’ll kill you once he finds out,” You force out, “And I’ll watch and laugh.”
“I’m counting on him trying.”

Forgotten Demon Twin 2/?
Prev | Next
Danny came back early from his patrol. There had been no ghost attacks. All he had found were ghost blobs, and he let them be. They were harmless. He got under his covers, glad that the next day was Sunday. He hoped he would be able to sleep late.
Danny was starting to fall asleep when he heard his phone ring. He groaned. He just wanted to sleep. He looked at his phone and immediately called Tucker.
“What do you mean someone is looking into me?” He asked without preamble.
“I don’t know what to tell you, dude. About six hours ago, I got an alert of someone looking into Amity Park. No biggie, sometimes people get curious. The firewall the GIW and me and Technus have set has kept them out so far. Then, a few hours later, I found out someone was trying to find out about you.”
“I’ve been able to keep them out, but just barely. Whoever they are, they’re good at hacking. Technus and I are having a hard time keeping them away from your information. I’ve had to direct them to your Doom and old Twitter account to get them off your scent, but I don’t know how long that’ll last.”
Okay, okay. This wasn’t the time to panic. It was probably the League (in which case he was [fully] dead anyway). He had to find a way to keep his family and friends safe, hide the portal from his fruit loop of a grandfather and mother, and keep his secret of being half-dead—no big deal.
“Danny, Danny, you still there?”
“Yeah, I’m still here. Listen, I want you to stop interfering with the hacking. I don’t want you or any of my loved ones in danger if it's who I think it is. I haven’t told you guys the whole truth, and if I make it out alive, I will. Until then, don’t contact me.”
“Danny, wait! What’s going—”
Danny hung up before Tucker could finish asking the question.
His phone immediately started lighting up. He turned it off. Danny moved his bed and pulled the wakizashi hidden under his floorboard; some ninja throwing stars, needles, and poison.
Danny stared at his weapons and knew he was screwed.
He could never measure up to the assassins in the League, let alone his family. He had no doubt the Al Ghuls had learned Danny had lied to them and was here to kill him and his family.
Ra’s Al Ghul did not believe in leaving loose ends.
Maybe Danny could convince his grandfather to leave the Fentons alone if he gave them all his information and let Ra’s kill Danny.
No, Danny would have to win against Ra’s. He couldn’t let the older man win; Danny knew his family would never survive if Danny died.
He didn’t know if he’d come back as a full ghost if he got killed (could he even die?), and he wasn’t willing to find out.
Besides, he no longer was the Al Ghul’s failure. He was Danny Phantom. Hero of Amity Park and the Ghost Zone. Crowned Prince of the Infinite Realms. He would win.
Danny heard a tap on his window and was met with two piercing green eyes.
They were here.
____
Once they entered Amity Park, whatever firewall kept them out went out. Suddenly, they could see everything that was happening in the small city. It disturbed Bruce.
Mentions of ‘ghosts’ attacking the town. A weatherman who predicted and announced the presence of ghosts and the Fentons on the road. The city being sucked into an alternate dimension (without the Justice League ever hearing about it), and a dead teenager taking care of the city. And the mention of a portal into the Land of the Dead, courtesy of the Fentons.
“Danyal never mentioned this portal,” Damian muttered as he looked through old letters he had.
The plane landed at 2:25 in the morning at Amity Park Airport.
It wasn’t hard to find the Fenton’s address once they were in Amity Park. Their address, phone number, and business number were public records in the small city.
The family made a plan.
They decided they would send Damian first. A (kind of) familiar face could help draw Danyal, Danny, out.
(God, it sounded like he was trying to lure out a wild animal. Though, if Danny were anything like his brother, that description wouldn’t be too far off the mark…)
“Remember, Damian, don’t engage if Danny starts attacking. It’s just talking. If he attacks you leave, and we find a different way to communicate.”
“Yes, father,” Damian said through gritted teeth. That was the fifth time his father had said the same thing. He wasn’t an imbecile.
Please, his thoughts intruded; not even an imbecile would forget they had a twin brother.
Shut up, he answered back.
Damian put on his dark clothes (not his league outfit; he threw that away a long time ago.) and the wire so his family could hear what was happening before leaving.
It wasn’t hard to find the Fenton’s house. The giant light arrow spelling out Fenton’s Work toward a house, and the big, he didn’t even know what was on top of the house, gave it away. These people weren’t subtle at all.
Damian climbed the windows. In one, there was a couple. The behemoth of a man was snoring so loudly it shook the whole room. A red-haired teenage girl slept in the next window while holding an old teddy bear. He went to the next one and froze.
For the first time in almost a decade, Damian saw his twin once more.
His back was turned to the window, but Damian saw a wakizashi in his hand. Ah, Danyal probably suspected someone was coming and thought it would be a member of the League.
Well, it was time to put his brother at ease.
Damian tapped on the window and saw blue eyes suddenly looking at him.
The two twins stared at each other for a long time. Then, Danyal adverted his gaze and went to the window. He kept the small sword in his hand.
He opened the window and let Damian in.
“Heir to the Demon’s Head, what a pleasure to be acknowledged and visited by you. To what does this Spare owe the honor?”
Once upon a time, Danyal’s subservience sent a thrill of pleasure down Damian’s spine. Now, it reminded him how far apart he had been kept from his twin. A horrid feeling twisted in his stomach and caused him physical pain.
His brother should never have been treated the way he had been by their grandfather and mother.
Damian should have never treated his brother that way.
“Danyal,” Damian said softly; his brother stiffened, “It’s okay. We are no longer loyal to the League. We are free.”
Danny didn’t dare look up. Was this a test? Was his twin testing his loyalty?
Danny’s heart rate picked up as Damian touched Danny’s shoulder.
“Brother,” Danny felt incredulous; the Heir never acknowledged the Spare as ‘brother,’ “Brother, grandfather is dead. We are free.”
Danny kept his gaze adverted. He couldn’t bring himself to hope that he was free.
Damian let his hand drop to his side.
“You don’t believe me.”
Danyal kept quiet.
Damian took a deep breath, “I have proof. He was killed in public. I brought the newspaper article.”
Damian took out the newspaper clipping and gave it to Danyal. His brother took it with shaking hands.
Danny’s breath caught as he read the title.
Ra’s Al Ghul was…dead. Danny was free! Would his brother let him stay in Amity Park? He was the heir, so he undoubtedly had taken over. Maybe if he pled his case to Damian and promised loyalty, he would let him stay with the Fentons.
Besides, Danny was the weak link of the Al Ghul line. He wasn’t a threat. Maybe Damian would grant him his wish.
Damian felt his heart twist as his twin got down on one knee, bowing his head.
“Demon’s Head, I ask you to let me stay in Amity Park. I’ll send weekly or even daily reports. Please, don’t kill the Fentons. My weakness has made me feel attached to them. If you don’t want me to stay here, please at least grant me the request of sparing their lives.”
Damian’s sadness suddenly turned to anger.
Hadn’t Danyal listened to a word he had said? They were free; they were no longer bound to the League.
“No, Danyal. The League no longer exists,” he spat out.
Danny flinched at his twin’s anger. His hold tightened on his sword.
“Bring it back a bit, baby bat,” Richard said through the comms.
Danny didn’t give any outward appearance that he heard another man’s voice calling Damian…Baby Bat?
What the fuck?
“I apologize, Danyal. My temper still gets the best of me sometimes.”
Danny couldn’t believe his ears. Damian, the Prince of the League, Heir to the Demon’s Throne, was apologizing…to Danny.
“Danyal, I left the League six years ago. I’ve been with our father.”
Father. The Batman. If what Damian was saying was true…
“Father and the rest of our siblings would like to meet you. They’re here in the city.”
…He could be free. All he had to do was convince Batman he was fine and to let him stay in Amity Park. Danny wouldn’t say anything about being Phantom, so Batman wouldn’t find any excuse to make him leave his little city.
Besides, how hard could it be to lie to the greatest detective in the world?
Danny got up, dusted his pants, and asked, “When do we leave?”
