Sad thought of the day:

How tragic the whole Arthur story is and it breaks my heart. He lost so much and sacrificed himself for everyone. How John, Abigail, Jack and even Uncle lived a beautiful life before everything went down, and it is all thanks to Arthur sacrificing himself for them. All the years he gave to the gang and Dutch. Keeping everyone safe and alive.

And in the end? He died alone in a forgotten mountain. No one was beside him while he took his last breaths. And if it wasn't for Charles, his lifeless body would be left there. No grave, nothing to remember him.

So yes, that's why I will always be a super Arthur Morgan protector, because that man did so much for everyone and got nothing back in the end! 😭

Lily should have survived.

You’re telling me that James didn’t love Lily and Harry enough to evoke the ancient love magic that Lily saved Harry with?

He loved both of them so much that he literally died trying to give them a chance to escape and that wasn’t enough?

I don’t buy it.

The only semi-logical explanation I can come up with is that he didn’t have his wand and maybe you can’t do something like that wand-less but did Lily have her wand?

Even then we’re talking about a guy who literally became an illegal animagus at the ripe age of 15.

He also loves and cares for people so deeply and it was LOVE MAGIC.

Look me in the eyes and tell me James Potter couldn’t have just saved BOTH of them without his wand.

Exactly, you can’t.

Honestly I could go on about all of the reasons James and Lily dying didn’t even make sense.

This is just another thing that makes me question why they died the way they did.

Them dying on an order mission would’ve been more realistic. There were just too many plot holes in them dying in Godric’s Hollow.

In conclusion, the ending of the first war didn’t make sense. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Guys this post is not that serious I just mean that everything about what happened that night and the explanation for all of it felt like a stretch and kinda vague to me 😭

Even with the stuff about James not having a choice. Like yeah Voldemort didn’t verbally give him the option to back off but James still made the choice to try and hold him off.

Also James was a Pureblood and Voldemort made it known that he would spare them if they didn’t fight him because his whole thing was blood purity.

So like the “Lily was given a choice” still feels so vague to me.

Also Voldemort making the promise to Snape feels weird. Snape asked him not to kill Lily but Voldemort said that he wouldn’t as long as she didn’t get in his way. And Lily did get in his way of killing Harry so he didn’t break that promise by killing her.

Yeah he probably could’ve just knocked her out or something but he still didn’t break any promises.

And the whole reason Snape joined Dumbledore before the end of the first war is because he didn’t think Lily would just let Voldemort kill her son. He didn’t make an unbreakable vow or anything so Snape knew that Voldemort would probably kill Lily.

The way he wants to prove WRONG to Atsushi. The way he wants to prove that he's not like Dazai. He knows Kyouka deserved better from him and also knows he actually owes her. After everything they've been through, he saw the change in her eyes. He's seen how much she's grown, and how much she worked for become the girl he saw in that right moment.

Still thinking about how in the first episode of this season how we learn Corlys commissioned a dagger for Lucerys like man I will never recover. He LOVED that boy. Him and Rhaenys love all their grandchildren even the boys who they know aren't their grandchildren by blood. We see this in the kindness that Corlys approaches Luke at Laena's funeral. We see it in how they protect and comfort the boys when Alicent grabs the dagger later on that episode. We see it near the end of season one, where Corlys wakes up still hating Rhaenyra but suggests that he and Rhaenys take ALL their grandchildren to Driftmark to wait out the impending war (and we know he meant Rhaenyras kids too because Rhaenys immediately says that non of Rhaneyra's children will be safe for as long as they live). Can you imagine being still willing to protect children of a woman you think cockolded and murdered your son?

Any time Rhaenys suggested that the line for Driftmark pass down through Laena she made it clear it was not out of disrespect or not loving those boys.

Also we can assume due to the timing of Corlys' injuries and recovery from him that he commissioned the dagger for Luke before he was attacked.

Yk what gets me so mad? It is the lack of empathy and sympathy that some of fandom has towards Katniss reactions towards Peeta’s hijacking. I absolutely think Katniss was unfair and cruel in how she handle his hijacking (at times, she was not always mean to him) but so was Peeta towards her. The fandom can show so much empathy towards Peeta, to the point that we excuse everything with “it’s beyond his control , that’s not him, everything hijsck Peeta does is not real.” Like sorry!? It’s very real. And Katniss should’ve handle it better, but my god she’s just 17 and literally the love of her life, the person she deemed as precious almost KILLED HER!??? she felt betrayed, abandoned, beyond hurt by her peetas treatment towards her.

Could she have been nicer, more empathetic, and more gentle ? yes, but she tried her best during the capitol mission where she planned to die. I just , idk it’s becoming a little bit misogynistic to me atp
